20 Best Youth Padded Football Shirt (2023 Updated)

Even though this is a football sleeve, my daughter uses it (rotates the pad to her inner elbow) for pitching. Prior to using it, she had pain and swelling from hitting her side. With the sleeve, no pain or swelling.

It has been a lifesaver!.

Bought this sleeve after my son got rolled up on during a practice scrimmage. Luckily no broken bones, but needed an assurance that his elbow was protected. A little tight but allows my son to throw the football and feel confident on the field.

I bought these for my 10 year old during tackle football. They are youth on size and are very snug. It stays up though and serves it purpose.

I bought this to replace an old chest guard shirt that my some has been using for a few years. He is a bit on the heavy side and usually wears a youth XL. We found the youth XL to be too tight to be comfortable, so ordered the adult small.

It fits well and gets the job done. Does not mind having it under his jersey at all.

We bought this shirt for our son who plays travel baseball. It does its job to protect his chest. However, the head hole is SO SMALL! He is a smaller kid and we had to get him a size up jn the shirt just so he could get it on and off.

And its a strur.

I brought this confidence shirt for my son who plays elite u11 soccer. It took a bit to get him to wear but he know won’t play a game without it. Over the last two weeks, he has taken hits directly to areas that are protected in the shirt.

He took a soccer ball to the chest that would have put him on the ground. After the impact he was able to keep on playing through without a hitch. He also collided with a goalie who had his knee up. The collision hit him right underneath the chest or sternum.

This could have caused a major injury. Again, he was barely affected by the impact. Thank you for making this product. I think you need to market it more agressively to youth soccer which is quite physical at the elite level.

My son is a striker and take a fair amount of punishment. We were growing quite concerned about him until we got this product. This product is worth every penny and I will buy it again.

I bought this for my son’s first year of football. I only bought one, so it gets cold water, gentle cycle washed 4-5 days per week. I only hang it to dry. The stitching is already unraveling where the sleeves connect to the bodice.

We have had it for a month. I haven’t tried to mend it as the nylon is fragile. I may have to purchase another. I don’t think I’d purchase this same brand. I don’t know it will last the remaining 5 weeks of the football season.

I bought this shirt 2 month’s ago. It runs really big. I’ve had exchange it twice. It’s still not the fit my son was looking for. I think it is ideal for Large Linemen. The quality is fine, just not the fit for smaller framed players.

Purchased for my 10 yr. old, 82 pounds. Fit my 12 year old loose who is 120 lbs. Runs very big.

Great protective abd compression product. Gives added protection to the ribs and shoulders. Fits great!

Compared to Under Armor this is right up there. Perfect for parents not wanting to spend a lot of money on their kids who are constantly growing. Kept my son warm in 50 degree temps last weekend.

Great for cooler nights. Fit perfectly and long enough to stayin tucked into his pants.

Two issues. One, it has obviously been worn before. Shirt not in a bag or folded. Even the cardboard envelope appeared to have been opened before. I suspect it was from a previous return, which leads to my second point.

Two, way too small. I order large, like all my clothes and could not even get it past my shoulders. I have other compression shirts and they are as tight as your sizing. I need to begin the return process.

I will order a xxl hoping for a better experience. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Purchased 6 years ago; never heard of this company or rib protector until it was introduced by the Athletic Trainer. My son is a duel threat QB and he has use this Procter for 3 years in HS and 3 years in college and he loves the system so much, he will not use any other rib protector.

We are in the Process of purchasing new ones! The only reason for the new ones is he has bulked up and needs new ones. Awesome well worth the money! I just wish they had more options for shirts: long sleeve, sleeveless and some type of cold gear sort with a mock neck.

I purchased this product to wear under my current body armor piece which does not contain any side or rib protection. I found the product to be as advertised. The shirt is comfortable and the pads set up quickly and provide the side protection I was lacking on my original body armor.

I do wish there was a system in place to secure the pads within the pockets of the shirt to keep them from shifting. Even with the snug shirt, formed to the body pads and another tight fit body armor piece over this one the pads still shift significantly and frequently.

The point of this product is having the pads in the proper area in the event of impact, which could happen at any time. The need to constantly be aware of their having shifted and/or adjust them back to the desired location is frustrating and disadvantageous.

The T-shirt is a luxury, it is very breathable and the fabric shows that it is of very good quality, and also for the price that you cannot ask for more.

I use it for running and it is very comfortable. I have 101 cms of chest and 1´76 cms of height and size S is perfect for me.

Excellent Shorts and price is the best I could find shopping multiple places. Daughter is using for basketball and the padding is perfect for these rough high school athletes. Added bonus tailbone pad to prevent injury.

Other than shorts run a bit small the padded pants are a very good product which offers adequate hips protection. Does not include front leg pads but it has adequate pockets for it. Good product.

I usually wear between a small and a medium depending on the cut of the shirt. I am 5’7”, weigh 130lbs, 34C, long waisted. This shirt is my new favorite! I am glad I gave it a second chance because the sizing is way off, but it is so worth it.

I originally ordered a M, and it was extremely small! But the material was just what I was looking for so I ordered XL in my next order and they were perfect! The shirts are cut nice and long and going up in size gave me the fit I was looking for, perfect fit in the shoulders and chest and a little looser in the body.

The fabric works great with HTV, and washed really well without any noticeable shrinkage. For reference, I have worn both Gap /Old Navy vintage and Target’s v-neck mossimo boyfriend tshirt for years as my go to casual vneck, but this is better than both in material and wear.

Love the quality of the shirt. Purchased the royal blue for the event we were having. Gave this a 4 due to the fact that they are actually a heathered royal blue which makes them lighter than I would have preferred.

They actually are a smaller fit as well. I suggest you size up for comfort in the womens but thats because they are a fitted form style. I would order again but I would probably ask about colors first if I need something specific.

They wash and dry very nice and are not super thick and hot.

We got small size. Fits slightly loose except for the neck. Hard to get her head out of it. Padding is not too hard or thick. We got mainly for back and ribs and it fills in those spots that a tegular chest guard misses.

Its a good supplemental shirt and breathes well. They really need to start making more of these kind shirts. To protect ribs kidneys and lower back and posterior arms. All the areas that chest guard misses.

I bought this for my 8 year-old son to use for roller hockey. It’s OK, but the hole for his head is too small. Even after we put a few cuts in the collar to make it easier to get his head through, I still have to help him pull it off because the hole is still too small to fit his head through.

His head isn’t big either. He’s still just barely in a size small helmet.

Bought this shirt for on-ice officiating. Saved my life when I took a puck to the chest. Lightweight and breathable material. Fits true to teeshirt size. Highly recommend.

I bought this as a birthday present for my nephew. It was bought online I ordered it in two different colours. They were in the sale so good value and just paying postage for both. A few days after I got an email stating the white one was not in stock, but I was able to order it at the time.

I then wanted to cancel my order as it was not such good value paying delivery for one, I was not able to do this that was the downside but the quality of the item was not affected.

i bought both the red and green (w/ white tick). I did hope the green would be darker but it still looks good. Great price for the quality. The fit is good as Nike tops usually are. I am quite slender and medium fits nicely – not too tight, but fitted.

I bought the 5/6 size for my five year old. It is a big fit but will do him next year too if it lasts. It’s lovely quality and my boys love these tops. They’re very active boys and the breathable material is great.

Really nice branded Nike top. Light to wear. Looks great and easy to wash and dries fast. Didn’t colour run in 40 degrees wash. Great price.
