14 Best Year Dodge Grand Caravan (2023 Updated)

I have an 05 Grand Caravan and we’ve tried the headlight restoration kits on the headlights, but it just wasn’t bright enough and even the “pros” we had look at our headlights said we should just replace them.

I went searching for replacements and found this. It was exactly what I was looking for. The headlights came packaged well and protected. I was able to take the old ones out and replace them with the new lights fairly easily.

There was some fitment issue with the drivers side light, but after removing and replacing the screws, the fit was better. I’m still working on adjusting the alignment of both headlights, but that is on my end and not on the lights themselves.

They make the van look brand new and the difference is noticeable. We did not change the bulbs, but the clear and “new” lens make a huge difference. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking to replace your headlights.

Easy direct fit for my grandmothers Caravan. I installed New 9007 Led bulbs when I installed then and these head lights have a great cut off so you are not blinding traffic at night. the bright’s are great out put with the leds as well and have a nice great projection down the road with cut off.

Beautiful. Looks great. The place where the bulb fits into the headlight was of a bit different design than on my old 2006 Caravan..but it worked.

Reserched the needed repairs, performed them myself and saved over $2,000. Of course, I could not find the needed manual elsewhere but at The Motor Bookstore. Thank you.

Very easy to install. Look up Watch U-Hauls install video to learn a couple of tricks. “Drawtite hitch install 2014 Ford Explorer” Not as hard to wrestle in place as I expected. Since the truck has dual mufflers, I just rested the hitch across the top of the mufflers.

Although it is not visible in picture, mine came with the little tab welded to the hitch so you can install a plug connecter mounting bracket. I am very happy, this is a very clean looking install.

This hitch, despite what some of the other reviews state, is an easy to bolt on hitch that required no special skills to install. It does NOT come with hardware, which some reviewers complained about but it does not NEED any since the hitch utilizes existing bolts/hardware.

The instructions are well laid out and easy to understand if you actually need them (I did not). One note to ease installation. The muffler needs to be unbolted from it’s hanger, which is easy enough however despite that the fact that muffler is unbolted, the operating room above it to access a mounting bolt is quite small.

Unbolting will require the necessary socket but also realistically requires a universal joint attached at the point of the socket with a 6 inch extension. To make the job easier, since there is no swing room for a wrench, an impact gun with a universal joint will make life far easier for this install, specifically for the bolt above the muffler (that’s what i used) but it’s not mandatory.

Also, this hitch is compatible with “stow and go” seating, which is on my van (2012 dodge grand caravan). This is a two man install only because it’s quite heavy and wide. A floor jack will suffice if you don’t have a second set of hands to hold the hitch up as you perform the install.

Just figured I would offer my two cents.

One of the few hitches I have mounted that actually seemed to be made for the vehicle. All hardware, which is 6 bolts, 6 washers and 2 nuts is included. The Tacoma frame is already threaded with “weld nuts” that accept the 4 large anodized bolts.

My truck was new and had no frame corrosion. If the truck has been on the road you might have to clean up the weld nuts with a wire brush. As such the 4 main bolts threaded right in. The other 2 bolts actually thread in through the rear step bumper then down through the hitch.

Draw-Tite provides 2 fish wires to help position the rear most bolts. This was the only time consuming part. If someone can help you for a couple minutes to hold the hitch to the frame this job is easier.

I used a floor jack and some boards to hold it up as there was no one else to help. Anyway, all the holes line up, there is no drilling and all you need is a 1/2 inch drive socket set and you definitely do not need to pay an installer.

I’ve had weather-guard and Husky liners in other vehicles, wanted something more stylish this time. The carbon fiber look is just what I wanted. Looks great in my black interior. These are thick, well built and fit perfect! They have the same raised edge on perimeter to trap snow/water/etc.

Best part. they were $30 cheaper than other brands and I like them much better. Very pleased with this purchase!.

These fit great, look really good and I get compliments about them. They cover the floor very well and keep all the debris from getting into the carpet, plus theyre easy to clean.

These are the best-looking and fitting all-weather mats I have ever seen. They look like they came from the manufacturer. They look like they will be very durable and easy to clean. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend them to anyone wanting to protect their vehicle’s carpet.

The cover didn’t fit equally on both sides, one side has a wrinkle no matter what I do. Also it tore in one spot when I tried to tighten it up.

Got my bra for the van, service was good. I was a little disappointed in the fit around the headlights. Doesn’t pull up tight, was hoping for a better fit. It’s not the FACTORY bra. I don’t know if the factory one is better but I will try it next time to see if I can get a better fit.

OH well, I spent my money and I’m sure that’s all all hear about it.

Perfect fit! I had ordered the set. Also very good. I then changed the fog light and didn’t secure it so it blew off in a car wash. Ordered this replacement and you can’t even tell !

Had to give it at least one star. It didn’t fit at all. Complete waste of money. Then they don’t refund shipping even though it’s their fault not mine. Plus I need to pay to ship it back so when it’s all said and done I’ll be out the money and have no part.

Total bs don’t buy anything from them.

1A Auto is a great resource. Not only do they have great prices, but their installation videos are a huge help too. I just replaced the window regulator in our minivan and it was crazy easy. I have since replaced a couple of door lock actuators with parts and installation tips from 1A as well.

Ill always check with them when I need parts in the future.

Removal of the old part was the hardest part of the job, and that wasn’t that hard. just yank on old motor assembly to dislodge it from door frame because plastic clips are not reused. window works smoothly,.

My mechanic was able to install this in about an hour. He was able to remove my old mirror and install the new one with little difficulty. However, the was a little problem with the wires which went all the way under the speakers.

Since he had to remove more of the inside of the van this increased his time and price.

This fit perfectly on a 2002 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport. It was the 2nd time I’ve had to replace thanks to kids and husband backing into things. Super easy fix. Wires matched up great.

Fit is perfect. Mirror vibrates a little – making it less effective than the oem. Thinking of sending it back, but it’s not that bad.

Very high quality. I purchased one for my Viper last year. I liked it so much I got this one for my Hellcat Redeye. The only thing is I wish they had a true B5 blue color. This blue on the key ring is darker, but in fairness they did not call it B5.

It is very nice. I covered it in clear expxoy to protect it from scratches. Looks great. A lot less expensive then on other sites. I highly recommend this.

I’m loving this keychain. Right now I’m like a kid again playing with the keychain until I’m tired of it. But I don’t think that will happen anytime soon. I love how the keychain feels and the keychain looks the same as in the description.

Good product did the job. Easier to install than it was to crawl under vehicle. Only thing is that it’s smaller than the original one that came with the vehicle. Vehicle 16 years old. So I hope I can get 16 years out of this one.

This was quite a bit cheaper than replacing the entire shift cable. It was not as easy to replace on my Wrangler as indicated. No problem betting the bushing into the cable end but it took a lot more force to get it on the transmission point.

Once I got it on,it has worked well. I would definitely buy it again if I needed to.

I bought second time this bushing product. Good fit, easy to install. But my firs part worked only 6 month and after that falling to a hundred little parts. So, it is a good quick fix, but it is only temporary fix!.

The pads came without any mounting hardware and took much longer to arrive than expected. They are great pads, nothing wrong with the quality. I’m just that upset that the mounting hardware wasn’t included, especially when your paying for a premium pad.

Nobody carries the brake hardware for that vehicle either, it generally needs to be ordered and it’s not cheap. Be aware when ordering pads from them’.

The brake pads came in a timely manner, packing was great, and the install was 2 out of 3 wrenches; if done by yourself. My issue with these pads. i still see plenty of brake dust, especially in the rear wheels.

Although, it comes off very easily. Also, my fronts squeak just a little when braking from idle cruising. As far as braking power, i can’t really tell the difference. Maybe i should of used “Track Apps” to record Braking.

Overall, 3 of 5 stars. I expected a bit more from the hype in its description.

Did a brake job using advanced auto’s ceramic high end pads that cost more than these. Squealed like a couple of pigs going to slaughter. Popped these on and worked like a charm, quiet as a church mouse.

I had a Covercraft sunshade in my 2008 Explorer. It has lasted all these years, so I wanted one for my new car, and also bought one for my son’s new truck. They are thicker than other shades, and that seems to keep the heat out much better.

Also, protects the dash of the car from fading and cracking. You can’t beat the longevity, since I’ve had my first one for 14 years. There aren’t many products of any kind that have that type of performance.

Even though the cost maybe more than others, it is well worth the price. I highly recommend it.

This sunshade fits perfectly to my 2019 Ford Transit Connect XLT wagon. Seems to be of sturdy enough construction that if taken care of should last for more than a few seasons, but as I just got the product I can’t document that at this point (hence 4 stars-Quality).

Its design has enough wiggle room in its overall size so as to be able to get it around the rearview mirror and into place. The coverage is very close to the edges and top of the windshield so I’m pleased there as well.

Some have complained of the price but compared to what they have spent for their car I’m sure this is but a drop in the bucket. Pony up people and protect your investment. It’s money well spent.

This sunscreen is NOT your typical thing you buy in your local retail stores. When installed, it’s like a room darkening shade that protects your dash & leather seats. When you forget to install it, even for 5 mins, the interior temperature climbs dramatically.

As my better half & our daughter said, “hot seat!!” For the accidental senior moments, I also ordered 2 cooling seats that do the trick of pain relief.

I purchased warranty on tires in January at City Station Walmart; keep in mind I have purchased at least 3 sets of tires in the past. These tires had great reviews but 4 months in and tire needs replacing.

In May I had a blowout and reached out to Walmart, they couldn’t find my info in the system so ultimately I had to purchase a tire closer to where I was (NTB). Fast forward it’s been 3 more months that have passed and I still have no replacement tire.

I spoke to Robert at City Station and he claimed he coifing my info in the system, hmm. After 3 attempts he finally found the info, gave it to the manager at the Walmart in S. C. Where I reside but not w/o telling the manager “she should have kept a copy of her decos deal she wouldn’t be going through this” now we all know receipts fade or get lost but if it’s input in the system, with the tap of your fingers it should be in the system and might I add I spoke to 3 other associates before Robert and they were able to pull up my info with no problem.

Now, the manager in S. C. Has been working on getting in this tire for 3 weeks now but so far the truck has not delivered, recap I bought tires in January, need replacement in May and it is now the middle of August and let’s not forget I reached out to corporate by phone and emails at least 5 times and have been redirected to reach out to the store I initially made the purchase from.

What’s next?.

So-so tire with terrible treadlife. I installed 2 in November 2021 in the rear of my 2021 Pacifica Hybrid. I installed winter tires on the front(I realize this is not recommended, but I just needed the traction up front to get out of my steep drive in the mornings).

After winter, they were switched to the front and other tires were installed in the rear. It is now early September 2022 – less than one year and less than 15k miles since install. The tires were fine as rears in the winter.

They are no good in the wet, slipping and sliding all over. Road noise was not overly annoying. Biggest complaints are poor wet handling and low treadlife. The tire is rated for 70k miles but only lasting a quarter of that.

Very disappointed.

As an actual item, the Dash Mat I purchased is all it should be. The fit and fabric are just as ordered and there is nothing wrong with the product. There is an option for the Escape of a pop up HUD.

You are asked if you have this at ordering. I don’t have that and the mat came with a rather obvious solid patch where the opening would be. I understand the need to streamline the manufacture balanced with customer needs and this doesn’t diminish the product over all.

But it means you should be prepared for such adjustments. That said, it’s interesting that the last mat I ordered for the EcoSport had an opening for the in-dash speaker where the one for the Escape does not.

Again, not a problem as the mat doesn’t seem to affect the speaker at all. Personally, I should have ordered the mat for the Escape in the same black velour as the EcoSport. The only thing I would improve is to get slightly more of the mounting Velcro hook strip.

All in all, the Dash Mat is a needed product for the long term.

This is my second dash mat from Covercraft! My first one was the original carpet type which I like, but this limited edition looks much more professional and lays better on the dash…very nice. I purchased the mat to keep the glare off the windshield.

Unfortunately, my original went to the salvage yard with my totaled vehicle. My only complaint is that I ordered the wrong mat because I misunderstood when asked if mine had the emergency warning or not.

I “assumed” it meant the crash warning that flashes on the instrument panel…and mine has that but not on the dash near the windshield. A photo with and without would possibly help future shoppers. So now I have a cutout in my cover for no reason.

My ignorance, I guess. But, the mat is very nice and I willpurchase again as needed.

We have bought and used Covercraft for many years, think this is my fourth one on trucks I have owned. I ordered one for my Wife and myself this time due to we both just brand New Trucks. Will be ordering another one for my Daughter’s car.

It’s a extra security in South Texas to have a dash cover, the South Texas Sun can ease crack your dash, fade it or just make it even hotter in your vehicle without one. If you buy a sunshade for your vehicle then you should be buying a dash cover also.

I highly recommend Covercraft, we had ours Custom Embroidery this time also. We’ll worth the money to not having to replace my dashboard after cracking.
