Overall, very pleased with this unit. It handles piles of leaves and yard debris with ease and greatly reduces the volume so as to minimize the number of yard waste bags. The blower is powerful and meets my need more than adquately.

The only draw-back was the fact that it blew a hole in the collection bag near the discharge spout within the first 20 minutes of use. However, I patched this with ballistic nylon on the inside and the unit has been working perfectly since.

This is possibly a design defect that could be addressed at the point of manufacture. If it was not for this issue, I would have easily given the unit five stars instead of four.

This is the 3rd rime I have purchased the B&D Mulcher Blower Vac. I had good use from the previous two. MY primary use is the vac/mulching feature. I have a heavy crop of leaves each year. The newer model has metal impellers and it does produce a coarser grind of leaves.

Since I use the ground leaves as mulch in our flower beds, I prefer the earlier design. I have some reservations of how durable the bag will be. It is much more convenient to empty than previous models.

The switch stopped working within 20 min of first use. B&D replaced the unit. On a note of customer service: it was very good once I found the “secret”. I sent 2 emails over 3 days ( no other contact method offered) with all info (jncluding proof of purchase) to the B&D customer service cust service email link.

Received 2 automated replies stating that my case was “under review”. After 4 mote days and no further response, I called the seller (CPO) & obtained a B & D phone number. One phone call explaining the issue, allowing them a few min to verify my purchase and my issue was resolved.

Received the replacement quickly. I’ll likely wear this unit out in 3 – 5 years & decide then if I want another.

I used to own a Toro but if finally died after 10 plus years. Its worked great but did jamb up with wet leaves. So I bought this Black and Decker with more power and lighter in weight. Purchased it in October 21 2021 used it for 3 days loved the power and how easy it was to remove the bag and empty it.

But the bag is already falling apart it has holes in it and wearing out only after a few uses. They need to make a canvas bag like the Toro leaf blower has and it would be a great product. I will be returning it and buying another Toro just because of the bag issue.

Overall, I really like this tool. For the positives, it helps clean my sidewalks and driveway of any grass trimmings. Using the first time is so easy! Just charge it overnight and you’re good to go. It is super light, easy to maneuver, and is easy to start.

The charge lasts a LONG time and I love the I no longer have to haul around the heavy gas version I used to have. Now for the negatives. It is disappointing that I cannot pass it over the grass to pick up sticks or stray debris.

It will vacuums up the leaves but leaves behind twigs and sticks. It is nice that there are two wheel positions, but adjusting them is a hassle since you have to unscrew them and retighten them. Overall, I see myself continuing to use this, it will just be an adjustment from the more powerful gas version I used to use.

EVEN STILL, it is definitely worth the loss of piwer to not feel sore after hauling around the heavier version.

I love this mulcher! It also has a vacuum so it literally sucks up the leaves before mulching them. For years I’ve been raking my entire yard and then bagging them. I no longer have to do that! This machine is saving me hours of work and back pain.

It is very lightweight and easy to use. No assembly was needed and I love that it has an automatic shut off if the machine is lifted or tilted. The batteries were easy to charge and install also. The handle folds for easier storage and the machine itself is small.

All around wonderful product!.

I kept telling my husband we needed a leaf blower to clear up debris from edging and cutting the lawn. I watch the professionals do it and know we were doing it the hard way. We sweep up after each cutting.

I’ve had this Black and Decker for one season and it works well and quickly. I have not used the mulcher portion yet because we don’t have a lot of trees/leaves on our property. The blower part works really well though.

Very weak motor, if the leaves are even slightly packed it will not pick them up. It also gets clogged up very easily and spills a ton of leaves back out when you turn it off. Very inefficient and slow going.

I am very disappointed in this product, wish I never wasted the money as it is unusable and feel guilty selling it off to someone else. I guess this should be a lessen for the future, you get what you pay for.

I bought this for a very good price but now I know why. First time I used it the bag had little cuts in it. Can’t take the chance of using it again and the bag gets destroyed, which leaves me with a vacuum and nothing to suck it into.

My blower/vac arrived this morning. I’ll bet that the FedEx delivery person had a chuckle when he saw all the zillions of tree berries all over my driveway and front walk so even he knew why I purchased this item.

I assembled the unit to do vacuuming and went to work on my ugly tree droppings in my front yard and driveway. Even in the low speed it picked up everything quickly and easily, so I didn’t disturb the neighbors.

I used to broom and pick up the berries and leaves, and it took me an hour or two to do that. But the vacuum did the job in a hurry, so I was done in 20 minutes. I did have to dump the bag about 3 times.

Since I am 6-02 tall, I have to lean over slightly to use the unit, and this is wearing. It is really set up for someone who is a little shorter than I am. Do wear ear plugs and wear a face mask. And after I came back into the house, SHE WHO MUST BE OBEYED insisted that I change out of my somewhat dusty clothes.

I haven’t tried the blower yet. The case and parts need dusting with an old paint brush to get the dust off of them before storage. I’ll have to clear off a shelf in my garage to store the unit because, with so many pieces, it is a bit of a storage problem.

I am really glad I bought it because it will save me a lot of work. I don’t know how long it will last, but at its price, it does not have to last forever.

I wish I had known about this item a long time ago! So far I’ve only used it once but I was able to vacuum up a bunch of leaves and mulch them. I had no problem assembling it and figuring out how to switch between blowing and mulching.

Based on other reviews I decided on this model. I figured at age 69 it should last as long as I need it. I agree with another reviewer that a wider strap would be more comfortable but overall I found it pretty comfortable to use.

Volume not too bad on the lower speed but probably ear protection would be good on high.

Dunno ’bout the complaints I’m reading, but I have one of the older models–had it ~10 years–and the motor finally burned out. But I used it a lot–my neighbors have 3 poorly maintained oak trees that span over my house, and I’m constantly buried in the debris from December to September (I’m in FL).

GRRR. So I used it 4-5 times a week, and ~10 years is not bad for an inexpensive electric tool. I paid like $45 for it at WallyWorld. I also used the vac a lot, to pick up the oak leaves from hard-to-get places (like in rock beds that have heavier rocks) and my back yard (totally enclosed–nowhere to blow the leaves).

Can’t use it in areas that have small, light rocks (like pea gravel) ’cause it’s too powerful (even on the low setting) and sucks up the rocks (likewise areas that have mulch, if you have that). Instead, for that I use my shop vac w/ the wide (sweeper-type) attachment.

Ergo, little wear-n-tear on the impeller blades; after ~10 years, mine still look almost new. It’s true that it doesn’t completely mulch oak leaves, but oak leaves are small and get sucked up past the impeller blades easily.

The claim that it turns 10 bags into 1 is pure fantasy. For oak leaves, you’re better off using dedicated plastic yard cans than trash bags (trust me on this–I have 2). It’s still much easier than raking and shoveling leaves all day.

You’ll want to keep the bag clean; it has pores to allow fine dirt to filter out, and they can get clogged. Hose it down until the water runs clear, let it dry and you’re set. My only complaint w/ the old model was how the bag attached to the unit–it wasn’t well-thought out, and if I didn’t keep the bag really clean, the build-up of pressure would blow it right off.

But the newer model looks like it has a much better designed attachment. I’m going over today to pick up this new model and expect another ~10 years of use (or abuse, in my case). For $53, it’s really about the best option as both a blower (ever try to rake oak leaves out of St.

Augustine Floritam?) & vac. You can pay lots more, but I doubt you’ll get any more functionality. It’s just a yard tool, right?.

Purchased on the basis of favorable reviews here and there; no previous experience with a leaf blower / vacuum, and so offer thoughts on the basis of a neophyte. I’m happy, but not elated with it. I debated between cordless and corded, and in the end went with corded on the basis of a small yard that gets an impressive dump of leaves every fall.

Not finding the corded aspect all that difficult, although there are moments when I can imagine the advantages of a cordless beast. But more significantly, I don’t know what someone can’t come up with a cord lock mechanism that is both easier and more effective.

I find it takes a bit of effort to get the cord threaded and looped, especially a cheap, cold cord (guilty). And once in, the cord seems to release itself with a lot more ease than the threading and looping exercise.

Another irritant, and this might be specific to mine, the latch on the vacuum chute seems to have gotten bent somewhere along the way before it got to me. That has made it difficult to get it to latch properly, and more difficult to remove, to the point that removing it can involve a large flat screwdriver.

Again, it might be me, my fingers are small, my hands getting weaker and there doesn’t seem to be a good place to anchor your hand when you go to press the release tabs. The last irritant, again, may be a function of my operating environment, which involved using the tool to vacuum a large number of leaves off a mix of lawn and more sparsely covered areas.

I’ve found that, a couple of times, the housing became impacted with a mix of dirt and mulched leaves, to the point that free movement of the impeller is affected. It can be dis-impacted using screwdrivers and picks, but it isn’t a trivial task, as you have to work around the impeller.

I’m done for the fall, but I’ll probably look at whether the impeller can be easily removed, or the housing taken apart if it happens again next fall. These are the negative aspects. Aside from these points, the thing blows and sucks like a beast, isn’t too noisy, it made the fall’s cleanup easier and faster, and I used about a fifth of the yard waste bags that I used to.

The simple redesign of the “throat” of the Vac attachment is truly amazing. The result is that ALL leaves sucked into the nozzle are reduced to particles the size of a postage stamp (or smaller); this also means that the Vac bag can hold more “mulch” and you do not have to stop/torn off the unit/unplug the “throat” before continuing on with your vacuuming.

The oscillating attachment for the Blower nozzles facilitates clearing the work area quicker. Finally, the motor seems to have more power which also improves overall performance. I would without hesitation recommend this tool to a friend.

This tool is used primarily to clear the fallen leaves of my Magnolia tree in my San Diego CA back yard. It is also used to clear my garage, sidewalks and driveway in lieu of precious water. The size of my yard is just under a half-acre.

I have owned the predecessor of this model which gave me great service for 15+ years. I purchased this unit from Amazon. Although I am not tall, I can easily use this tool in both modes; my wife who is 2″ shorter can use this in the Blower mode, but finds using it as a Vac is a real challenge.

I’m so glad I bought this leaf blower/vac. I’ve used gas-powered ones in the past but decided to go with a nice corded model. This did not disappoint me at all. Outside, the furthest I need to be from the house is about 75 to 100 feet.

It’s very important to use the correct gauge extension cord because using too small a gauge will result in a voltage and power drop and can cause electric motor failures. This model features a rotating knob to control the blower speed and that is a much improved feature over those models that offer just one or two speeds, or those where a trigger must be held to operate.

It also has a well-designed handle that allows the operator to balance the blower and to hold it easily in different position. I haven’t used it as a vacuum yet but I am pleased that the impeller is steel and not plastic.

Conversion from blower to vacuum is simple too. I have no difficulty working with extension cords; I don’t find them getting in the way, etc. This is truly an enjoyable tool to use and immensely simplified cleanup around our yard and gardens.

It made leaf removal a quick and easy task.

I have an older model that has been in service for 15 years. I use the leaf sucker every year with an attachment that goes on a trash can. The older model worked very well, but I could no longer get parts.

This new model has a protective safety cover over the air intake that is somewhat a nuisance to remove. Once removed (to use the leaf sucker/mulcher) you have to keep track of it. At this time I have not used the leaf sucker, just the leaf blower.

My wife claims it does not have the power the old one has, but I think that will be better once I take off the tip at the end of the blower tube. It appears to be too restrictive. Bottom line: I don’t see significant improvement over my much older model except hopefully I can get parts if they break or wear out.

Over all it is a good corded leaf blower/mulcher.

This product has changed my life and I tell everyone I know about it! 3 years ago I moved to a house with a beautiful tree lined yard. In the summer it creates a private retreat, in the fall it is majestic, the winter cakes with snow, but in the spring it looks like a disaster and days worth of back breaking labor.

The first year I lived here I raked it all up and when it was all said and done we had 22 paper bags at the end of our drive waiting to be picked up by the compost people. At the end of the season I grabbed one of these off of a clearance rack.

It has saved my back and given me hours of my life that otherwise would have been reserved for raking! Since it mulches the leaves and small sticks it has cut my bags down by close to 70 percent! I just blow the leaves into a tidy area and then vacuum them all up! When the bag is full I just dump it into a paper bag and that’s that! Amazing product!!.

Great value and effective for home use on small to mid-size yards. Bag holds more than you would expect due to the vac mulching the leaves so finely. Works best on flat surface like driveway/sidewalk but also good on short grass.

Less effective on longer grass but still gets the job done. I did not have any problems with the flexible hose clogging like some others did. I used this on fresh dry leaves. Was able to clear 95% of the leaves on my half acre yard and empty all of them into bags in under 1.

5 hours. This usually takes me the better part of a day because I have multiple large trees that drop lots of leaves. Also used less bags due to the fine mulching of the leaves. I would suspect that this would be less effective on wet leaves.

Wish I would’ve known about this years ago!!! I’m a skeptic and obsessed with reading reviews before buying a performance product such as this. Even reviews a lot of times are skewed regarding the gaps in each persons expectancy, experience, logic etc.

At only $109 I figured it was worth the risk. Well Ive used it for a week now and I have not been disappointed, but i have been very impressed! So, I figured thered be no problem blowing leaves around, i was more concerned with its vacuuming ability.

Well it sucks, but in a really good way! Other than scattered leaves around the yard I had numerous piles of leaves that had made their way into corners, crevices, cracks etc. over a couple of seasons.

This thing sucked up piles, even compacted piles several inches deep, with little effort. It’s mulching capabilities are excellent as well. The mulch bag hangs over your shoulder and connects to the bottom of the blower, it is super easy to connect/disconnect.

The bag’s 16:1 ratio sounds accurate (1 full mulch bag = 16 trash cans of raked leaves). After finishing yard work I wanted to vacuum the garage and it worked great there too picking up smaller scraps of grass, leaves, wood, paper etc.

as good as my home vac does indoors. Ive read in some reviews about the length of the tubing being too short for taller persons. I’m 5’6” and its ergonomics were fine for me. I could understand how taller people may become tired with an aching back/shoulders/neck, but there are tubing extensions i believe.

The basic $109 model i bought came with the mulching bag and i did not buy any extras. The quality feels really good and well made. Overall I’m very pleased and feel i got more than what i paid for in performance.

Hopefully it will last for a long time.

This is my second WORX Blower/Mulcher Vacuum. The first one, which I had for about 5 years, was great except the connection point knob for the bag broke because of the constant twisting and locking feature so I had to put a screw in its place.

This model is a much better design with a press and push locking mechanism for the bag. It makes it much easier to remove the bag too. In addition, the mulch/vacuum lever is a much better design too.

Again, it’s very easy to use. The blower feature performs equally well as the old model, but the mulching is much better. Probably because of the metal blades. The improvements were a great adjustment making this model the best on the market.

The only thing I’m not happy about is the plastic cord locking aspect. It works fine, but the cord coming from the WORX could be a bit longer. Regardless, this a great WORX product and I recommend it.

It make short work in yard clean ups. By the way, my old model was still working fine when I gave it away. WORX still makes the older model, but if you looking for a blower/mulcher vacuum I recommend this model.

First time I ever had fun removing leaves! This TRIVAC is the greatest! I don’t have a large yard, but I do spend several hours raking and bagging leaves, even if I run over all I can with my mower first; until yesterday.

All the work of leaf removal ended yesterday. I purchased one of these at the local Menard’s. After arriving home it took all of 5 minutes and I was vacuuming and mulching piles of leaves. Then moving on to the leaves around the house.

An hour or less, and I was done. All the leaves were mulched and bagged ready to recycle. This is so much fun I did the neighbor’s yard. I don’t know why some think this is big and bulky. What do they expect? Tiny and not able to chop leaves or sufficiently sized to handle the tasks of blowing, vacuuming, and mulching any size leaves, small twigs, and even crab apples.

Many ratings on similar items state the chop ratio is more like 4:1 rather than 16:1. Here’s what I found; my yard generally takes 5 or 6 50 gal. contractor trash bags for leaf gathering. Yesterday, same yard, same amount of late autumn leaves, maybe more since I did not gather leaves before, I filled one 50 gallon contractor trash bag about 3/4 full.

My only improvement to this product would be to make the intake tube about a foot longer for people my height.

I was eager to try a “maiden voyage” with my Mow-N-Vac. I had some oak leaves down and I wanted to see how it performed. I did agree with one other reviewer that said the hose came off the vacuum end after a couple turns.

I re attached it and tightened the hose clamp and did not have any more issues. You do have to allow for more turning room such as around trees or obstructions. I found I had to plan my route and come at it from a different angle in order to get close to a tree.

It backs up pretty good, you just have to be cautious of the extra length. It picked up the leaves well, but I think I will lower my deck down a half inch more when I get into the serious leaf vacuuming.

I had my deck set at 3 inches for this go around. I was able to dump the half load ok, I moved it ahead with the cart tipped so I could get it all out. Some improvements I would like to see: 1. Devise a quick attach method for the mower deck adapter.

I may try to come up with something myself such as studs coming out on top of mower deck with hitch pins for easier attachment and removal. 2. A sight window in the front of the cart near the top so you can see if the cart is getting full.

It met my expectations. I think it will make my fall leaf pick up much quicker and easier.

The machine works great, the only problem I have is the screen cloth has broken away from the rivets that hold it in place. So, the leaves also come out of the air vent, & in the back of the machine.

I called Agri-Fab they never heard that complaint before. So I am going to install a metal plate over the screen cloth & install new rivets hoping they won’t pull out again. I plan on doing it tomorrow, it is supposed to rain so will be a great day to work in the shop.

Otherwise, the thing works great, just a mistake in assemble at the factory with the chute. I probably should rivet in some sheet metal before this happens.

I was super happy with the ease of assembly, and suction of the machine itself. I feel that the collection box may not hold up over time, however, I can reinforce that structure pretty easily. Now. on to the deck adapter piece.

I have a zero turn mower and had to buy the extension hose which I didn’t mind. The deck opening that I have doesn’t match any of the templates so I made the proper cuts, bolted it on and strapped it to the deck using the hardware provided.

I was in business! The feeling of triumph only lasted about 5 minutes. The adapter touched my sidewalk as I was making a turn and the plastic adapter tore away from the bolts and actually ripped leaving the suction assembly laying on the ground.

If you buy this product, please be aware that you will need to make a few modifications. I’m awaiting my metal chute from another manufacturer as we speak.

Love it. This this thing is a beast. Built like a tank. I considered getting a cheaper $*** Craftsman, but after ready its reviews I quickly realized you get what you pay for and that wasn’t a good idea.

So I figured if I’m going to spend good money, and make what I consider an “investment” I might as well go big, or go home. So Billy Goat it is. Yes it’s nearly 3x the cost of the Craftsman, but it was worth every penny.

Vacuums leaves 4-5 inches deep. Sucks it right up!! And it’s built to last. If you’re on the fence about getting one, do yourself a favor and DO IT! The CSR at Arlington was fantastic. The lady I spoke with helped me through the buying process, and answered all my questions.

The shipping was very timely. It arrived in a heavy duty box wrapped with black plastic, and waa securely strapped to a pallet. Thanks again Arlington!!.

The machine works well. I saved a few hours of work. The bagging system leaves a lot to be desired. Not user friendly and difficult to unload. Could also use a sight window to determine how full the bag.

I actually purchased this as a vac to pick up the burrs after weed eating and it. “worx” great! 😉 Where weeds were whacked on gravel, the tool manages to pick up only the lightweight plant material, leaving the gravel where it belongs.

Around my forest home, oak leaves blanket the floor. I chose to rake first–to separate out any living creatures–and vac’d them right up. It takes about 10 mins of continuous use to fill the bag and the mulch it produces is exactly what I expected.

It arrives in a small box and is very easy to assemble. Great value – Highly Recommend!.

I bought this at my local Sams. I am impressed at the convenience and power that comes with this 3 in 1 worx machine. I had tons of leaves piled up in the backyard and in the front yard. If I did everything with a rake, I would have been at it for at least an hour maybe longer.

I was done within 30 minutes with the help of this machine. The only “negative” thing I can find to mention here is, if you are going to be using it for more than an hour or so, it will make your hand tired because it is a little heavy.

I had my 10 year old daughter help me, and she said it was too heavy after 5 minutes of holding it in her hand. If you are too feminine or just dont like heavy things, then I don’t think is the best fit for you.

Just my opinion, everyone is different, and I think girls are stronger than boys in many things, but I will tell you, it is on the heavy side. Overall, yes it is an absolute great buy, dont even think twice, but as I mentioned above, if your using it for more than an hour, your hand might get tired.

It was too heavy for one hand use and no second handhold to help offset the weight. The bag is small and doesn’t hold a lot, but enough to add to the weight of the blower and make it difficult to maneuver.

Needed to empty out the bag frequently to keep the weight as low as possible. I did like the ease of switching from blower to vacuum. Both functions were great, but the weight started to give me blisters, so it needed to go back.

This would probably work great for someone with more single arm strength.

I really loved the idea of this product since I tend to have to rake leaves every weekend in the fall. Putting it together was very easy and took me no more than five minutes. This machine is a lot louder than I had anticipated.

It does a great job when getting the leaves up off of my driveway and walkways. So, it helps me a little bit, but not as much as I had hoped. This doesn’t have the power to get pine needles up, so if you are looking for help with that, go with something else.

There is a safety feature where if this is tilted, the motor will kick off. This was a problem as my yard isn’t leveled in some areas. It picks up some leaves on the grass, but not all of them. Like If you encounter a wet leaf or two it’s far too heavy to be sucked up.

What it does get up, it mulches very well. For this being for outdoor use, I assumed the bagger on this would be heavy duty which it is not. It’s very thin in my opinion, so you need to really handle this with care.

It’s easy to use and would be good for light cleaning but for me, it didn’t perform like I had anticipated.

The Sun Joe Mulcher / Vacuum is a nice smaller sized machine for homeowners like myself to clean up their yards. First to get some points out of the way, this is a consumer sized electric device. It’s not going to compare to the gas powered systems that a landscaper uses, but for this price point one shouldn’t expect that.

The Sun Joe comes basically all assembled. It has an 13 amp electric motor and plugs into a typical extension cord. It’s lightweight and very easy to move around, just make sure you get a long extension cord.

As you push it collects and chops leaves and such into the bag, making in real easy to cleanup in the fall, or whenever. Sort of like vacuuming your yard like you would your carpet. It’s built well, easy to use, and I even like the bright green color! Overall pleased with the Sun Joe!.

This is my first vacuum mulcher after many years of raking and cleaning up my yard. The leaves on my property fall primarily on rocks so as I used the WG509 for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised that I could grab leaves (even wet leaves) with this vacuum from an uneven surface.

The resulting mulch was fine-grained and what used to take well over a half-dozen bags fit in two. But it gets better. I also have a lot of zebra grass that need to be cleaned up. I’m not saying this vacuum can or should mulch tall (8′) grasses after cutting them down but after taking a few passes on them with my lawn mower, the dry grasses were appropriately sized for this machine to handle, I was able to mulch a dozen pretty large plants into 3 garbage bags.

I wasn’t expecting this so I’m pleased to have the versatility. The metal mulching components work well. The vacuum isn’t too heavy for most folks. You can cover a normal suburban backyard in a few minutes.

The bag is handy, about the right size and the zipper enclosure is solid. You just need to adjust the handle length so it can be slung over your shoulder. Having a cord to navigate isn’t always ideal but I imagine the weight of a battery on this machine would make it hard to lug around.

I used the blower occasionally to loosen up clumps of leaves. I already have a lighter weight battery-powered blower that is easy to maneuver but having the blowing option on this tool is handy as its one less tool to get out.

I’ll probably use this vacuum twice a year – late fall and early spring so I’m hoping it will last a good long time.

Let me start by saying I have a ton of leaves. I bought this unit because of the amount of leaves that I have each year and I had one that used years ago. Normally I have 18 to 20 bags of leaves and a 65 gallon trash each cleanup.

Now I have the 65 gallon can and 2-4 bags each cleanup. I have done 3 cleanups this year using this unit and the only problem I have had is human error (me forgetting to zip the bag attachment up). This unit has been a time saver for me because it does home/vac and mulch and you can switch on the go between blowing and vacuuming.

I like that if leaves are sparse in an area I can blow them a pile then vacuum or if the leaves are more dense in an area I just vacuum them up skipping having to blow them into a pile first. The only negative is no attachment (that I’ve seen) to blow off the leaves from the gutters.

Worx does have others that will do that. I would buy this unit again. It saves me time and money on leaf bags.

I have a half-acre backyard that gets a ridiculous amount of leaves every year. The blower on this unit is pure and simply, useless. Unless you need to clean out a garden, anything more is too much. If you look at the picture of the unit, under the big tube is a tiny tube.

That small tube is the blower. Worthless. As for the mulcher, works pretty well. Being it’s all metal makes it stand up better and it’s easy to unclog should it get jammed. One accessory that is indispensable with this unit is the universal leaf collection system (model WA4054.

2). That model is made just for this unit and is cheaper than the other universals that fit all types of mulchers. A pro tip with the leaf collection system. Use a giant pale (big square ones) with the biggest leaf bags you can find.

I used the 95-96 Gallon garbage can liners from Amazon. Then get some of those metal $1 clamps from Home Depot to secure the Leaf Collection fabric to the pail (about 4 or 5). The drawstring doesn’t work well unless you’re using a tiny garbage pail with a lip.

Keeps popping off otherwise. Now you can mulch a ton of leaves into a big receptacle with bags to hold it, and clamps to secure it. When the sucking power slows, the leaves are reaching the top of the pail inside.

Just push them down through the fabric. And you’re going to have to aim the connecting hose in different angles so the mulch doesn’t build-up in 1 spot. Overall, I was impressed with the mulcher and leaf collection system (with simple modifications).

However, I had to go and buy a gas powered backpack blower to get any real work done. Hope this helps.

This vacuum is much quieter (even before the muffler) than my old vacuum. Latches are simple and secure. Quickly and easily change filters. Dust is completely contained in the canister-no leakage. The 4 accessory holders on top of each foot keep tools handy.

The 20 foot electrical cord is a BIG plus as I no longer need an extension. The cord storage keeps the it neatly stored and allows having just the right length available. Latches on accessories are a plus.

Suction is sufficient, even when adding a cyclone separator between the vacuum and a tool. I am looking forward to trying the removable blower. The 60l canister seems smaller than my old one, perhaps just an illusion or perhaps the volume is measured differently (allowing for filter volume).

Woodworkers will appreciate this VERY well designed vacuum. It addressed all of the shortfalls of my previous vacuum.

Bought this a few years back for the purpose to help out during power washing kitchen floors for steak’n’shake. It made clean much easier. The little hose hook up pump made it even smoother. After year of that it has cleared out flooded floor drains, unclog toilets that snake just couldn’t get saving me from having to lift a toilet.

You could say “this shop vac will suck the **** out of anything”. With the use of a shop bag and the proper filter for the job it will suck up drywall dust to rags others leave behind without needing to dust off anything afterwards.

Throughout my years of using it it has the same suction now as it did on day one. That’s without having to take it apart one cleaning it’s guts out to maintain its suction. I only recommend this vac as others would of been tossed and replaced by now.

Wow, bought on sale and only by chance as the home owner version was sold out and this came up last a sale item. It replaced a very similar vacuum that needed parts and was well used and there’s no comparison on power.

The Ridgid professional model is so much better suction but it pushes the circuit it’s plugged into close to the tripping point so I have to endure everything else is turned off. The included accessories are a bonus that is had to pay extra for in the cheaper version and worth getting.

This is my 4th Ridgid vacuum and I’ve used them for everything you can imagine and still going strong! Worth every penny over other brands vs friends and family who bought other premium units that have quite.

I’ve had 2 of these blowers. I’ve used them sparingly, maybe 3 times a year, for residential (not commercial) use for my modest yard, and not even turning them up to the highest power setting most of the time, and BOTH have failed, i.

e. , the engines wouldn’t start any more after just a few years of use (i. e. , literally LESS THAN 10 HOURS’ LIFETIME RUN TIME for each blower). If you want to waste your time taking it apart, looking up YouTube videos on trying to clean it / fix it / jiggle the safety switch / oil it / get it to start again, and NOT be getting your yard clean, then this is the product for you.

Otherwise, buy ANY other brand before you buy this one. The engine is obviously DESIGNED TO BREAK and try to suck you into buying a second one like I did. PLEASE DON’T BE FOOLED. — Matthew Edwards, Clifton, VA.

After 3-4 times of use the fan broke and customer service told me to take it a dervice center (30 miles away). I will need to spend over 3 hrs (drop off and then pickup) and about $20 in gas to do so.

From the tone of the cust service agent, it has to be mfr’s defect to provide warranty. So, I guess, there is a possibility that TORO may deny repair or replacement because? Ohh. because I had slid the power switch in the ON & OFF position? Come on.

this is just a defective product and the company has no intent to support its customers.

I bought one of these about 4 years ago. Kept it in the box and the box is in the garage. Over all the blower and the vacuum work as expected and I didn’t have a problem. Alternating between the two isn’t what I would consider easy but it is easy enough to put up with it.

My problem came with the plug shorting out and fusing with the (100 ft) extension cord. I didn’t want to leave or use it like that. It wasn’t under warranty. Toro repair wanted $50 just to look at it.

I fixed it myself which was fine for awhile but the unit has a very tight compartment and it was difficult to secure the wiring so my fix didn’t last. Bottom line. I expected to get many more years of use out of this and, though it wasn’t that expensive compared to a lot of battery operated blowers, I am still disappointed with the quality.

It’s got a Toro name on it. I guess that doesn’t mean as much as it used to.

REALLY need to have an attachment for fine-grain sized vacuuming for the rocks. To avoid sucking in rocks and being able to vacuum things like little leaves & pieces of dried out decomposed dog poop between rocks without sucking them in.

A small mouth with a filter/grate at the end. You would sell WAY more of these, if you made what I said above, as one of the top features that would set you apart from every other vacuum. I’m shocked I couldn’t find one at any Lowes Walmart or Home Depot, went to multiple in person to check every outdoor vacuum/blower.

looking for one with the features and part that I needed and so many people need. Every job and home would have this as a necessity if you will do what I said. Because I had to make my own at the end of the mouth of your unbelievably & shockingly GINORMOUSS vacuum tube.

Good for leaves but that’s it. Huge waste of potential. Make a dime sized add in, to add onto the giant hole for leaves. I need it for rocks without sucking up rocks. ASAP.

I am writing this review with an added twist: I’m recently visually impaired. I purchased this recently so i can do an effective job raking my leaves since I recently became visually i,paired. I needed to find avway to help my wife with this cumbersome chore.

I have always done the yarrdwork. I have a little vision left and had to access the Toro website to use screen reader and listen to the instructions. Kudos to Toro for having ADA compliant PDF’S. The instructions are written succinctly, enough for the likes of me.

Iwas able to assemble it very quickly thanks to the instructions and memory of typical products like this that I’veused in the past. The blower/mulcher exceded my expectations!!! I was most concerned with the impeller jamming up because i can’t see what I’m sucking up.

The metal impeller was a surprise at this price point. The motor is very powerful. The adjustable speed dial is a great idea. My wife used a different cordless nlower while I mulched with the Toro. The leaves were mulched enough to reduce the jumber of bags we collected.

My only suggestion is to add a waterproof backpack-type bag for the mulch, as an add-on product, would be outstanding. This would help since I use a cane. I would be willing to pay for the option. Also, a storage bag/case would help since I don’t want to use the canvas bag for storage.

Keeping all of the parts together is a must for me. I also recently purchased a cordless powershovel and I am looking forward to using it.

I wanted a gas blower but never had much success with them after a couple years use. I purchased this one and used it only a few times but when our house was flooded in IDA and stores and rental places were out of fans I pulled this out, shoved it between the concrete floor and the overlay flooring and used it to dry the bottom of the plank and the surface of the concrete.

With the floor still mostly intact the wind from the blower picked it up with an air cushion and got rid of the dampness. I ran it for 5 days straight and it took the damp smell out and everything was dry.

The window AC took in a lot of water so after a few more days it was dripping in and running over the last portion of floor I dried and started to smell again. I took out the AC and started the blower again.

It ran for two more days before it gave up the ghost. I would definitely purchase again and suggest it to others. I have not had it for leaf season yet so I cannot speak to it’s abilities there. But it certainly took a beating by me.

I never thought it would run that long continuosly.

When my other brand blower/vac/mulcher burned out when I was 65 years old, I shopped for a replacement. Having used the other brand years ago, and assuming the yardwork duties where I now rent a room, I had nothing to which I could compare the dead unit.

I found, from 6 local sources, this Portland model from Harbor Freight had the lowest price. Leaf clean-up season had just started, but they were falling fast. I got the last unit left on the shelf. This Portland model turned out to be slightly smaller than our old blower/vac/mulcher.

How nice, actually, for this old, decrepit body to handle these days. The body of the blower is easy to operate, with a good handle on each end. It’s very simple to assemble and to change from blowing operation to vacuuming mode.

The bag is a little smaller, which makes it easier to get into the paper leaf bag in order to take my mulched leaves to the city yard waste station. I filled the attached bag three times for each paper bag.

I can confirm that the leaves were mulched to a size that my one bag of materials would have been approximately six bags of uncut leaves. When the leaves were so deep or thick today, I filled 5 bags of waste in about 2 hours using the vac but not the blower.

This would have taken so much more time, requiring so many more bags and so many more trips to the waste station without my blower/vac/mulcher. I would recommend this piece of equipment to anyone, especially those who appreciate the smaller and lighter model.

I wasn’t sure what to expect. I watched and read the reviews and decided to give this Vac/Blower a try. With my age and health starting to make things more difficult, I was looking for tools to make things easier.

Face it, no one else is going to do them for you unless you have the money to pay them for it. Even then, it’s never the way you want it. So. the Vac/blower. It has now all but finished it’s first fall season.

maybe some minor touch ups here and there. but it’s done and it’s proven itself. From the start, opening the box, everything was packed in the carton. All the parts were in good shape and it was easy to see how it went together.

The set up and change over to and from the vac and blower functions is quick and easy. I also took a minute to make sure the safety worked correctly. Using this vac/blower is simple. It vacuums well, sometimes too well as a large pile of leaves can be taken in rather quickly.

Although, this has yet to clog or overwhelm the motor. through the entire season, it gave me no trouble. As a blower, it’s pretty quiet and effective, and it’s use is simple. The only point that gave me trouble was the fit between the two vac tubes.

They are very tight and getting them to seat is not easy. there is a spring loaded clip that should join into a slot on the corresponding tube. It takes effort to both align and seat the tube properly.

This is not enough of a difficulty to stress about. I’m sure a little fins sandpaper will remedy it easily. The next test will be to see how effective it is on light snow. That’s still a couple months away, hopefully.

I bought one of these today. I put it together as soon as I returned home. Assembly of the bag mulch bag was not particularly intuitive, and the directions were not very clear, but I screened a YouTube video that showed how to assemble it.

If you have put many of these together before, I am sure assembly would be faster for you. I think it took me longer than it should have done had the instructions been clearer. Anyway, this unit has two speeds and enough power to do the job, but it has some serious drawbacks for anyone who is not strong, agile, and reasonably young.

Anyone who is older, who perhaps has decreased body strength and does not have particularly good balance will find this unit heavy, awkward to handle, loud, and muck-making. The amount of dust and dirt that flies out of the mesh part of the bag is unreal.

By the time I finished vacuuming up most of the leafs in my back drive, I was covered heat to toe in dust and dirt, as was the unit itself, and my back, neck, and shoulders hurt. It is very unwieldy.

It does not feel like an extension of my body at all. The unit is a bit too heavy for me, and the vacuum tube is so wide and awkwardly attached to the machine itself as to make it difficult and fatiguing to handle.

I kept feeling as though I was using the unit backwards. I did not use the leaf blower feature today, but I expect it will work well and be slightly less awkward than using the vacuum feature which is very poorly designed.

Now, whilst it does vacuum up pretty well, the vacuum tube has to placed almost perpendicular to the ground for it to pick up the leafs, and the mouth of the vacuum tube is so wide and ill-shaped that it will not allow you to reach into smaller or more narrow places such as between HVAC units narrow areas between fences, etc.

Anywhere you want to vacuum up leafs, etc, has to be at least a little bit bigger than the mouth of the tube itself which is pretty big, so forget getting into smaller areas where the wind blows a lot of leafs.

I think the shape of the entire unit, especially the vacuum tube and bag could be refined a good bit and thus make it more focused and less awkward. This is also part of what makes this unit awkward to move around with it into alleys, etc.

You can barely turn in an alley without hitting a fence, a wall, or flower pots, etc. Also, the design does not allow you to sit the unit upright on the ground. It you want to lay it down, you will have to turn it over on its side which feels awkward as well.

Laying it down and picking it up from the ground again should be easily done in one smooth, swift move. As is, it takes two hands and bending very far down. AWKWARD. This is the first unit of its kind that I have purchased.

I have had lightweight leaf blowers but none that vacuumed and mulched. I like the features, but I wish the unit was more streamlined and ergonomic. More lightweight and quieter would also be two more big pluses.

The two piece tube attachment is big, very bulky, and almost as long as half of my body. The bag also is extremely awkward. There is a shoulder strap, but no matter which way I tried to wear it, it NEVER felt comfortable, and it got me pretty dirty and dusty, enough to feel like I had to bathe immediately after I finished using it, and the weather was comfortably cool, too.

I can only imagine how much more miserable it would be to use this unit in hot, humid weather. Dust went into my eyes and throat. Maybe protective glasses and a mask would help with the dust. I am sorry to sound negative, but this unit was not designed and constructed to be easy to carry and to use.

It does not make the chores any easier. It does grind up the leafs pretty finely, though, so you can get more mulch into a brown paper lawn and leaf bag than you otherwise would do, unless you want to use the mulch in your garden beds.

Personally, I do not. I prefer to use a high quality hardwood mulch, not what is generated from the one oak tree and a couple of trash trees on my property. I guess one of the selling points is that the price is not too unreasonable on sale, and it will blow leafs, vacuum them up, and mulch them, but it is not going to be a quick, pleasant job with this machine.

I feel it deserves 3 out of 5 stars now, but if the bag breaks down quickly, as so many other buyers have said, then I would downgrade it to 2 stars at most. Not being able to buy a replacement mulch bag as needed is another BIG drawback to this unit.

Basically, your unit will only be useful as a leaf vacuum and mulcher as long as the bag holds up, and according to a lot of reviewers, the bag does not last very long. So, in the long run, you have to ask yourself if you really saved money buying this unit over a more expensive one.

I have had this unit for more than ten years now. I have an acre and a half of ancient oak, mature maple, hickory and mulberry trees. This unit does a great job picking up and shredding the leaves in the fall.

I use a blower to get them away from the house and shrubs and spread them over the lawn. If you let the leaves get deep (and wet!) the unit bogs down. But I usually hit them once a week with no problems.

I have had to replace the boot and collar where the hose joins the mill. I have replaced the hose twice. About 7 years ago the engine threw a rod and I swapped it out with a slightly more powerful one.

No troubles since. The bale clamps which hold the hose to the boot and collar occasionally allow the hose to slip off during usage which is annoying. Also the clips which hold the door on the back of the unit aren’t quite strong enough.

One corner always seems to slip off. Overall a strong, reliable performer. Couldn’t tackle fall and the many leaves without it!.

I bought agri-fab mow n vac a month ago. I am looking for a deck adapter that will fit on a Craftsman T3300 46″ deck. Unable to find one on your site. Unable to find any info on connecting mow n vac to a craftsman deck, with curved discharge.

How do you do that. Any info would be helpful.

I am pleasantly surprised in the quality, design, and performance of this vac/mulcher. I have only had it for about a month, but I have gone through 3 tanks of gas and am quite impressed! The only negatives so far is #1 that I had to spend almost $70 more for an extension hose to fit my eXmark zero turn mower, and #2 I had to make my own hose support set-up due to needing the long hose.
