20 Best Work Shoes Slip Resistant (2023 Updated)

I work in a kitchen, on my feet 8+ hours a day, you know what I mean. These are great. The non-slip is the same pattern that Shoes For Crews uses, and it’s fantastic non-slip. The padding on the inside is good, but if you had high arches you’d need more support.

I wear a 9, but an 8. 5 fit very comfortably… maybe even better. My feet hurt significantly less after a shift now, but make sure you stretch during your day.

They looked great. The Navy color was the draw for me, most wide shoes come in black only. I like the idea of not having to tie the laces. Seemed like a great idea. Problem was I couldn’t get my foot all the way in the shoe to set my heel down.

You can’t untie the straps going across the tough to get my foot in. So I don’t know if they were comfortable or long wearing. Returned that day. Great idea but bad design for a wide shoe.

Got this when I started a new job at a grocery store. Knowing I’d be on my feet for eight hours+a day/5x a week, I need to have a comfortable and reliable pair of shoes. This baby delivered! For three years! Would definitely buy it again.

This is the best working shoes I ever had. It checks out all the boxes. The price is very reasonable too.

These are my first pair of Skechers trainers, although I do own Skechers sliders and sandals and love the comfort and quality of those. After reading the positive reviews, I took the plunge and ordered my usual size 4 in the black.

I do a lot of walking locally on a daily basis in my bid to keep fit post- menopause, and needed a pair of comfortable yet quality trainers to assist me in this task. The first time I wore them (without socks), I couldn’t believe how comfortable they felt.

Expected to have blisters, rubbed toes etc but no! Extremely lightweight when worn despite their ‘chunky’ appearance and very supportive on my feet and ankles when walking. It felt like I had owned them for months.

No rubbing or discomfort whatsoever despite it being a warm day. I have kept the packaging as I am always sceptical about buying shoes/trainers and whether they will be comfortable or not- but I cannot envisage returning these.

Can highly recommend as a comfortable, supportive trainer for anyone who does a lot of walking and doesn’t want the nightmare of suffering from blisters or having to ‘wear them in’ before they can be comfortably worn without worry.

These shoes fit great. They support my arch. I wore them for all kinds of errands. But then the day came that I went for a 2 mile walk in them. The pain on my heel at the 1 mile marker was extreme. I was shocked because I have had these shoes for about 4 months now and have worn them often.

Granted, I never did any long walks in them but I wore them everywhere and never noticed a problem. The blister on my heel after the walk was huge. Now when I put them on I can immediately feel them digging into my heel.

I never noticed it before, but be warned. The cushioning on the back of the shoe is not enough to cover that heel support and it will dig in to your heel. Hard to find out mid-walk, but now I know. I will buy something else for walking, but still wear these for light errands since I do love the arch support in them.

I have many pairs of Sketchers and I’m always happy with the quality. These are lightweight and nicely made. I always order my usual shoe size without issue. These come up fractionally shorter in length than my other Sketchers styles, but not to the point where I would need to size up.

The problem for me is that I don’t think I get along with the higher lacing. I found these tiring to walk in as I was having to put more effort into flexing my feet. I wasn’t able to walk as quickly as I usually do and after a few minutes the top of the foot developed a painful ache.

I have quite bony feet so it might just be me. I’m grateful to have the chance to test drive them but I think I’ll have to send them back.

My job requires me to visit customers that require safety shoes. Over that past 15 years, I have tried many brands and styles. While some were more comfortable than others, they all left my feet hurting at the end of the day, often with blisters on my toes from the safety toe cap.

I ordered the Cobalt safety shoe as I had good luck with other OrthoFeet shoes I have. WOW! I wore them all day the first day with no issues or pain. I had planned to wear them for a few hours then change, but I completely forgot I had safety shoes on.

I also like that the have more tread than the regular shoes without being heavy. Not to start an argument with anyone, but these are lighter than every other safety shoe I have used over the last 15 years years except one.

These shoes are a surprise in the sense that I did not expect to be as delighted by them as I have been. I’ve had my share of foot problems over the years (e. g. , plantar fasciitis first in one and then the other foot; callouses; torn plantar plate most recently; and other issues) and usually it was just rest and lots of time before walking discomfort went away.

These Orthofeet shoes didn’t immediately make all pain go away but it did lessen it and eventually helped with speeding my recovery without having to commit myself to an easy chair for weeks. which would have driven me crazy as I am a fairly active guy.

I am so pleased with how well these shoes make my feet feel and also that they look smart enough to easily match my work dress of “work casual” without compromise. I will very likely purchase another one of these before my originals give out and perhaps even a third with a different styling!.

Even though I wore orthotics in my previous shoes, my knees were killing me my the end of my 10 hour workday. I ordered these Easy Street shoes and wore them last weekend and no pain. I didn’t give a thought to my knees all day.

What a wonderful change to be knee pain free. The insoles have excellent heel cushioning and great arch support. The toe box is roomy. I ordered this shoe in wide and when I first tried them on they were a little snug.

But after an hour of wearing these shoes they just relaxed and were a great fit all day. I hope that other customers who order wide sizes will not reject these shoes before they wear them and give the shoe a chance to relax.

So glad that I ordered these shoes before my size sold out.

Enough, I had been trying to adapt well to the shoes since I have been using them for 5 days and it has been difficult to adapt to them, and I noticed that the pain in my back, hip and neck has decreased.

That’s very good since I spend between 16 and 18 hours on my feet. But from the beginning I noticed that the sole inside the shoe crumbles, at first I thought it was the letters of the shoe brand but day after day it continues to crumble and it is very uncomfortable to feel that you have garbage in your shoe.

you shake it and after 30 minutes the same thing again!.

When I first tried them on I thought the right shoe was loose but I knew the size was correct so I decided to wear them. It then became very clear that the right shoe is larger. I had to stuff paper towels in the toe to help with the fit.

I do like the left foot and would give them 5 stars if they both fit.

I work in special education and went looking for some true non-slips after very nearly hurting myself slipping. I loved these shoes at first sight because of their completely understated style. Just a plain black upper and the Skechers logo.

Absolutely no attempt to be flashy or trendy looking. They match with anything that isn’t dressy. They’re sized large, so consider sizing down if you need to run or drive in them. I still found them very comfortable one size down.

They’re comfortable enough that I often choose to wear them over some of my more stylish normal sneakers when shopping or running errands. The soft upper that keeps these shoes lightweight and comfy also means they won’t resist a lot of water, will hold onto dirt, and will fray and wear with hard use.

Would not recommend for use in a restaurant, for example. Overall, after about 16 months of near-daily use, the outside fabric is pretty much wrecked, but almost everything else about the shoe is still holding up.

I might skip shopping for new work shoes and just order another pair of these.

Memory foam? Hardly, the soles feel like they are thin and flat and made out of cardboard. They are like cheap twenty dollar Walmart shoes. They are sorta nonslip- but nothing great. I do NOT understand the good reviews.

I cannot return them now because I wore them and had ordered them online and needed shoes to wear today. I need to buy insoles or something. Five minutes into wearing them and my feet are in pain because they are so hard and flat.

Junk.

Have worn these shoes maybe 8 times now, so I should be past the point of “breaking them in”. I work in a restaurant and am on my feet for 6-8+ hours a shift. I had the Skechers McAllen slip on shoes for the last 4 years and they were soooo comfy.

Lost them and had to buy new ones and tried these and my feet are killing me! The bottom is like a rock. They are very lightweight but there is no support on the bottom, and i’m practically limping by the end of my shifts.

I’d hate to spend more money for another pair, but they honestly suck so bad.

I haven’t been able to find the exact shoe I meant. I bought a pair in Oxford and I guess they are delisted now. I bought these shows because I was expecting soft leather. They aren’t soft. I like them, but reckon it will take 6 months of short-term wearing to break them in.

They’re great shoes, I guess I’m just disappointed because I wanted shoes the same as before. I’m a huge DM fan, but maybe a lot older than most of you fans. Even so, I really don’t think wearing your shoes should be painful and cut into your ankles.

I don’t buy them because they’re a statement, but because my last pair was so awesomely comfortable. The fact that your shoes can’t be resolved is a downer (an environmentally unfriendly one at that) and your business model is a bit apple-like, but somehow I forgive you because I like the shoes and boots.

I just wish they were a bit more forgiving and ‘ready-to-wear’ instead of needing a months-long regime of softening to learn the feet of the wearer. Still a fan though.

Absoloutly love, love, love these shoes. Ive had my eye on these Mary Janes for a while so eventually bit the bullet and purchased them. They have not taken much breaking in at all which I was surprised about (although I do wear them with Doc socks which probably helps) They are such a cute design, and many people have commented on how gorgeous they look and how much they love them.

They are quite pricey, but the quality reflects the amount you pay. The only downside for me is that they don’t have any arch support for my feet, but this was easily fixed by buying some leather arches off Amazon and sticking them inside.

Now they are 100% perfect.

i finally bought these debating between the two strap and these. i am happy with them and am surprised that they are very comfy. As usual, they are quite stiff when you first wear them but soften as time goes.

they are not just cute but are great for standing a lot as well. i’d advise to always wear socks that cover your ankles as the high lip of these shoes can cause blisters and scraping there. I sometimes put an insole just under the heel to lift my foot and prevent that, but it’s only if i go for a “no sock look” with slip on shoe type socks.

i hope the leater softens and then i would give them 5 stars.

I work in a kitchen 5 days a week, occasionally working doubles & these lasted me in total 3 months & 3 days before the sole started separating from the rubber bottoms. In addition the fabric they are made from, which is some type of faux leather, has started ripping off.

I loved these shoes. Super comfy. They just aren’t meant for people who need reliable shoes that last. Definitely not worth the price. Spend a few more bucks & buy a better product, I really wish I did.

My job requires a lot of walking and sometimes working in wet areas. I didn’t want to wear boots all the time. I saw these and read the description and was intrigued immediately. Well, I received them a few weeks ago and can confirm that they do what they are supposed to do.

Extremely non-slip, which is amazing because I work in a kitchen where water can accumulate on the floor and become an ice rink. It’s even oil-slip resistant! Beautiful packaging, high-quality leather and sole.

Inside is super comfy foam. Laces can just be single-knotted and stay put, no double-knot needed here like my Converse. I’m still breaking them in so they can be a little tedious to get onto my feet, i.

e. adjusting laces and tongue. The height of the high top hits right on my Achilles heel, which has caused bad irritation. but shoe foam tape has relieved that. I have kinda thick joints, so my ankle is pretty wide/large.

YMMV. I also have wide feet (and a high arch), and these shoes have all the room I need. But hoping they soften up as I wear them out. The shoe has great style considering other typical “work/kitchen shoes” but doesn’t exactly match up to the style of classic converse do.

had to return these shoes because your feet cannot breath in them at all. so rang the company and they said reorder another pair and return these for full refund. its the fastest way. they received them back on the 17th December.

waited until 29th of December to ring them to ask were refund was and the lady told me i had to email them proof of postage. so i did. got no reply to email and still no refund. will have to ring card company to get it back it looks like.

sick of ringing them and the phone being put down when they answer. good speedy delivery of product. what a shame after sales is shocking.

Great customer service, bought the wrong size and Shoes For Crews could not have been more helpful in replacing my shoes with the correct size as quickly as possible. Ps. this model is extremely trendy and comfortable! :D.

I was looking for the pair of sneakers for the long time and believe me I have tried many different very expensive ones which were cute but not comfortable. All of them ended up in Goodwill. I found this pair of Lugz at Wallmart for $25 bucks and was skeptical at first but convinced myself to buy a pair and to try on thinking, if they will not be comfortable, they will end up in Goodwill with the rest of my fancy sneakers.

But to my surprise they end up being the most comfortable sneakers I have ever owned. I went back and bought the same ones in EVERY color was available. Now I am changing them every day depending on my mood.

let me see. I think I feel bright and yellow today. soooooo. the yellow pair it is! Give them a chance and may be you like me will find what you were searching for. the comfortable pair of the cute sneakers.

Just the word of advice. buy any insoles or wear them with no-show socks to prevent your sneakers from funky smell. But If you will wear them without socks or insoles you can wash them easily and they will be like new again! Good luck!.

At first I loved my new shoes had them since August already broke into them. Nice and comfortable underneath and stops me from slipping on oil water and slippery tiles. I can walk faster in them to Great news.

But Unfortunately it rubs aggressively on the side and it has left a huge bump plus a small spot on the inside on my foot against the bone, I now will have to make a doctors appointment soon or a future one if the bump gets worse.

As it really attacked my foot on the right side and now I find it hard to stand up. I understand getting use to them working in them nice and comfortable to start with until it left a bruising above my foot really painful I will look for other shoes on here that doesn’t have rubbing effects on the side.

But great for now just disappointed on how it left a huge bump on the top of my foot!.

The shoes were too narrow at the toes. As there was plenty of room lengthways there would have been no point in ordering a bigger size, so I had to return them. As these are workwear, it’s expected that they will be worn for 8 or 9 hour shifts (plus time spent travelling to and from work) so shoes need to fit well and be comfortable for all that time.

Why do you not offer different width fittings?.

I am a server and am on my feet anywhere from 7 to 12 hours a day. I bought these because my cheap nonslip shoes I was wearing weren’t all that comfortable. These were definitely an improvement on comfort.

I love that they are light and that they are incredibly easy to clean off. Also, I personally love the way they look. They’re very sleek and plain. I will note though, they fit much narrower than regular crocs.

I have very wide feet and they do squeeze my feet a little, I’m hoping over time they stretch out a little more. I also have a huge problem with sweating. My normal crocs with holes give me no problems.

But these closed shoes only have the small ventilation holes on the sides. The issue is that my wide feet block those holes and by the end of my shift I can wring out my socks because there is so much sweat.

I never have had a problem with sweaty feet before but these leave my toes wrinkly by the end of the day. Overall I would still recommend but be cautious if you struggle with sweaty feet.

Bought from Carindale, ordered them in, have been great after a year’s wearing. I work with heavy items often pushing off my feet, they grip insanely well even after wearing 6 days a week for a year.

Comfortable like runners. I don’t need the toe cap version so they feel light for what they are. They are wearing really well, I’ll buy another pair once they’re on sale. The N came off one side, no matter, they’re black, no one can tell.

I’ve convinced a couple of workmates to get them too. The fact they are all black helps to keep them clean (vs some white on other shoes), a bit of Mr Sheen and good to go! Shout out to the team at Westfield Carindale, always fantastic when I visit.

Oh and I sometimes walk 45mins after work, I don’t bother changing shoes, these do just great.

I have terrible feet. I am constantly battling plantar fasciitis, and trying new shoes and inserts to help. These shoes are not very supportive for my arch, and caused me more pain during my shift than with my older shoes.

The bottoms are also much more slippery than my previous non slip shoes. I find myself sliding and slipping where I wasn’t before. I wouldn’t recommend these if you are in the food and restaurant industry, and have high arches in your feet.

I’m sure these are great shoes for normal feet. I just wish I could return these, but I’ve already worn them for one shift.

I wear these for walking around the plant in a non-nutritive beverage manufacturing facility that uses the color blue a lot. I thought they would be a good alternative to leather, that hopefully they would breathe more but natural leather actually breathes a lot better in my opinion even waterproof natural leather breeds better than these.

I’ve noticed my feet sweating more in these than they do in natural leather boots. They also have a feel that I would describe is “not confidence building”. Thirdly one of the shoes has a lip on the inside over the composite toe that is curling over when I put my foot in it (this is all on the inside) so I have to take the shoe back off reposition the composite toe to get it back into place and then put it back on I’ve never ever had to do that with a shoe of any type before.

They didn’t require a break in. Obviously but that’s because they’re extremely flammable materials that pliability does not inspire confidence when walking around the plant over the various gratings and things of that nature.

I will be returning to boots. These were an experiment that I believe is a failure. They also have little to no arch support.

I’m required to wear safety toe shoes at my job where I’m on my feet for 10-12 hours a day and I have to stand on concrete and metal floors. They seem to be holding up well after nearly 3 months of use and the sole has excellent traction on a variety of surfaces and different conditions.

I went with these shoes because I’ve always worn NB shoes and I usually find them to be very comfortable. However, these are the most uncomfortable shoes that I’ve ever owned. My feet and ankles would begin to hurt within a couple of hours and by the end of my shift, I was hurting from my lower back to the tips of my toes.

I ordered some insoles that helped tremendously allow me to end my work days with little to no foot pain. I feel that given my previous experiences with NB, they should be able to make this shoe much more comfortable than it is.

I needed safety toe shoes for new employment. Very difficult to find stock locally. I tried 8 different shoes from the leading brands. Comfort and quality were my biggest concerns for old feet. New Balance was my #1 choice of the bunch.

Usually wear a size 12 but felt I needed more toe space, so I went with the size 13’s. Wish you made it in a 12 1/2, would’ve fit ideally. Some of the other brands had zero comfort in their athletic safety shoes.

I always wonder how products that are sooooooo uncomfortable make it to market. Maybe the designers should wear them before they flood the market with junk. Keep up the good work New Balance!.

Cheap feeling materials inside and out. Minimal cushioning. Fantastic grip on flat concrete floor. Poor ventilation. Classic design, great LOOKING shoe, but not good for jobs that require you to be on your feet and/or physically active.

The toe is a little boxy but the shoe os super comfortable! Did not need to break in at all. Very good quality. I ordered half a size up just in case but I should have stuck to my original size.

Shoe fits perfectly and is very comfortable my feet don’t hurt or get tired after my long 12 hr. Shift. I also got many likes.

Good at keeping water out and not over the top for professional looking shoes but not as comfy as they look. Nothing an insole can’t fix. Runs pretty true to size.

My son is a chef and needed nonslip shoes. He loves these!!!

I need comfortable shoes due to an issue I have in my right foot. I often put a special pad in my shoes, but these do not need it. The removable insert in these slip-ons is extremely effective. It is not flimsy; but rather like the orthotics I buy.

The shoe is still wide enough and the rounded toe provides room for toes to move. Normally unable to wear heels, these are really an illusion as my foot is quite flat despite the heel and platform. The flowers are cute and allows these shoes to go with many outfits.

I loved them so much I ordered a different pattern.

These are very cute and the size was very accurate, especially on width. I was surprised that the heel was higher than espected on a clog. I am used to clogs giving a lift in height but not a higher heel feeling.

Just be aware of that if expecting a clog, flatter foot, feeling. This really does have a full 2″ heel. These are easy to get on and off and come with a really nice insole.

I bought this shoe in February along with the Stride shoes, where the Stride shoes wasn’t for me this shoe was the answer to my prayers. I work in retail and I was in agonizing pain to the point that I couldn’t walk or stand on my feet for the 4 to 5 hours a day that I worked.

I literally had to quit that job and went back to my old job which was still on retail but not standing on concrete floors, my feet still hurt so I tried these shoe and oh my god what a difference from the first day I wore them to work my feet DID NOT HURT.

I literally work eight hour shifts now and my feet doesn’t hurt. The company recommended that you not wear them the whole day when starting off but I had no choice but to wear them all day, no pain at all.

It’s now August if 2022 and in July my feet started hurting again while wearing this shoe which I attributed to my foot problems, flat feet, bunions and overpronation and I could see that my shoe was wearing unevenly, so I purchased the Kuru Quantum this time, where I like the Quantum, it’s not as good has the Kinetic.

I would definitely recommend the Kuru Kinetic shoe to anyone that has severe foot problems. If there was one thing I would change on the Kuru Kinetic and other shoes it would be to put a heel tag on the back of the shoe, so it would be easier to slide into without having to unlace it so much, I found that my shoe would bend in on the heel as I tried to put it on, but I still give this shoe and overwhelming five stars.

I have several issues with my feet & unfortunately no cures. But for the first time in 3 years I can walk heel to toe like you’re supposed to. I still have pain, but it’s manageable. I do have 1 spur from plantar fasciitis, complete neuropathy in both and finally got to see the broken bone I’ve been walking on for 41 years now.

Yes that’s correct. Diehard fast pitch softball player, finished that season & played for 2 more. But for the past 3 years I have no words to describe the amount of pain my feet have been in & still are.

But these are finally high enough they don’t touch my toes & again I can actually stand on my heel with the spur. I will definitely recommend these to anyone in need of shoes for issues like this. I can’t thank those of you enough who were so helpful to me & so quick to reply to my questions.

And for paying attention to all of my issues and taking the time to send me a link showing just the shoes that were going to be best for me. If I could afford another pair I’d get them. And I will as soon as I’m able.

I wish they had a little more cushion but that’s most likely just my feet. Lol I’m praying I win a pair, but for now I’m just so happy to finally have a little comfort in what feels like a lifetime of issues.

Having already purchased two pairs of the Kuru Quantum sneakers, I was looking into a supportive shoe as well that wasn’t a sneaker. The Quantum helped me with my toe numbness and knee/back pain, so based on the good reviews, I decided to try the Kinetic shoe.

I liked these so much that I purchased a second pair. I can say that ALL of them are nothing short of AWESOME! Yes, they are a little pricey but when you see them in person, you can tell the quality of the workmanship and materials that go into making them.

That, plus how amazing they feel on your feet, which most definitely reduced the pain I was experiencing, make them well-worth the price. If I had to state one complaint, it’s that they are a little warm and not very breathable.

My feet sweat wearing them and I think adding some holes into the leather would help with this. But overall, the arch support is excellent, the toe box is very roomy, and the shoes are extremely comfortable.

I am a consistent Size 7 regular width and these were right on the money.

The shoe is great. I’ve tried many shoes that say they are waterproof. Walking thru wet grass for 35 years. These shoe hold up quite well , better then the top of the line that sell for over a hundred dollars or more.

the air bag seemed like a good idea; so, i bought the pair. and, very comfortable; yet, stable. glad to see half sizes available. wondering about extra wide widths availability. the “toe box” is roomy and comfortable (unlike some athletic shoes).

an important feature for slip resistant shoes. also, really like the monochrome black.

Comfortable shoe, sturdy and I have owned just over a month now and no issues. I walk a lot with these for work and outside of work. Shoes costing 3 times the price have let me down in a month where these have been great so far no complaints.

Would buy again!!.
