20 Best Work Boot Odor Eliminator (2023 Updated)

Recently, my boyfriend brought a few cans of these home. So far, I’ve noticed it does make a difference, though I’m not quite sure how much. I do have to mention, the smell of this is absolutely nauseating to me.

So, i have to leave the room (or go outside – our apartment is small) when he is using this. The smell does linger in the apartment for quite awhile as well, which is irritating since the smell makes me want to vomit.

Once the smell clears out from the air though, it’s all good. I haven’t noticed the smell of the spray lingering from the shoes he has used it in, so that’s good. So, I’ve noticed a bit of a difference, but not yet sure if it’s actually doing enough to make it worth the money or not.

This Foot spray powder by Dr. Sholl’s does what it says. I’m on my feet alot for hours and sometimes my feet get sweaty and the scent stays in my sneakers/boots. I purchased this foot spray and sprayed all the smelly shoes and the next day the odors were gone.

This is my new odor eater spray. I use it anytime I’m a be on my feet for long hours I spray the shoes half hour before putting them on. I don’t spray everyday because it does have a lasting effect but it could be depending on the odor I’m not sure.

This helps tremendously with teenage stinky shoes. Also have been using it in husbands work boots and the smell is so much better. We have tried the powders and it didnt work. Was shocked the smell of this isnt strong or overpowering.

Can also double as a room spray if your teens shoes stink up the room as well. Will be buying again.

I walk around barefoot every chance I get, so naturally my feet are always filthy. Due to cultural norms and safety though, I have to put shoes on from time to time. My Vibram 5 fingers, work flats, rock shoes, sandals.

it is truly a miracle product. Not even a trace of residual odour. Also left my ski stuff in a bag for longer than I should have one time. This product is supposed to be safe for Goretex products, so I soaked my synthetic base layers and Arcteryx jacket according to the directions, then washed the jacket with Tech wash and reproofed.

It is basically new! And no more stinky base layers! I recommend this to everybody – hockey players, anybody who does water sports, hikers, and ladies in my office who wear shoes without socks.

I read great reviews for this product on other sites. So, I thought I would try it for my husband’s leather work boots. He was working in the rain all day, and then he left them in his truck over-nite, they dried out and soured, before I could let them air dry.

I tried both sets of directions, (the spray inside and let air dry for a few days) and the mix up a bath and soak, then let air dry. Neither method worked. It may be great on cloth or canvas, but it did nothing for the leather.

This company makes to versions of this product, this one in the 2 oz. bottle and a 4 0z spray. I tried them both. I wouldn’t recommend for leather. thanks.

I have been searching and have tried many products to get the sweaty smell out of both work and outdoor clothes and this product works. Got my 8 year old MicroPuff smelling fresh and sweet again. Be patient and let the garment sit after spraying it for the 72 hours.

I had to do two applications on particularly stinky pieces and if you can let it sit in the sun for a couple days, even better.

Wow. I like the Sneaker Balls. I do not even need to ‘open’ the balls to get results. Just toss them into the shoe(s), and next time odors are masked. If anything, the scent is a little too strong. The balls not in use are in a zip seal bag in the closet to help keep a fresh scent there.

The scent is much less while in the zip seal bag, but it is still there. nice!.

I bought these for my daughter to use in her dance bag. She has several pairs of dance shoes in her bag, and every time she opens it I can smell the shoes from across the room. I had a tent and groundcloth that had never been stored wet but still had gotten pretty musty smelling over the period of a few years. This product worked wonders at getting rid of the smell. When I first took it out of the solution and hung it up it still seemed to have some odor but I thought I would let it dry before I did it again.

I got this for my husband! In his profession he works all day in heavy work boots, with little to no ventilation, and he wears those boots all day long; 12 hours a day Monday to Friday, and 6 hours a day on Saturdays.

Lately he’d been having bad foot odor, esp with the weather warming up, and him removing his boots and esp his socks, would send the rest of us scurrying from the room for air fresheners and scented candles.

This foot powder does exactly as described with a few minor mishaps. For starters the odor is gone. There was absolutely no foul foot stink after using this product. The scent of the actual powder is not strong, but the powder itself controlled the odor.

Secondly, the sweating was almost nonexistent. It was not completely gone, but a majority of the wetness of both socks and shoes was controlled very well. In fact, this powder went above and beyond other products I have used with varying factors.

The only downside is that there was still powder on my socks which did leave footprints in the house. It’s not a huge concern, and may have been a personal issue with using a bit too much powder, but it still happened to me.

All in all, a great product that does what it is intended to do in regards to controlling both odor and sweat.

I work on my feet all day for a living and I’m sorry to say even though I’m a female I still get stinky achy feet at the end of the day. it’s been a lifelong battle to find a product that really helps with the wetness and odor especially the odor because I feel that this ruins shoes.

It has a nice scent that doesn’t overwhelm like some foot products do but best of all it actually worked. I felt dry and comfortable all night and my leather shoes. That is so important when you work so hard.

I ordered this product because my feet always sweat. I was amazed how well it stopped my foot odor and sweat. It has a nice light camphor smell and works quickly. I sprinkled it on my feet and toes and even inside my socks.

Since my shoes were smelly I also gave them a good dose of powder. After walking all day my feet were not only dry but comfortable after removing my shoes. I am pleased with all Dr. Scholl’s products and the Odor-X does what it says, fights wetness and odor.

I bought this stuff because it was advertised as a bestseller and the price was right. This stuff is loaded with so much fragrance, it’s offensive. I used it on a pair of house slippers that I now am going to throw out.

It not only cost me $5 and change but now I have to buy new slippers too! Don’t waste your money unless you like overwhelming fragrance. It will take a day just to air the smell out of my house!.

Excellent product which works very well without leaving an overpowering perfume. BUT. the spray nozzle DOESN’T work smoothly. It just jams up and dribbles. I had to pour the product into another spray bottle to get it spraying smoothly.

Possibly I had a defective bottle?.

Had some really smelly shoes didn’t think they could be redeemed this spray was a last ditch effort before i threw them away. I sprayed them 2 nights in a row and the smell was completely gone after that.

Honestly can’t believe it.

Not the easiest thing to talk about. But I do suffer from chronic toenail and foot fungus. My feet are in work boots all day long. And have been for years. I work long hours farming in the hot humid southern weather.

I have been using this product for about a week. It appears the hazy look on my big toes has improved. My toes have had a yellow tint to them for years now. I have applied several ointment over the years with no improvement.

My hope is with continuing to use this product my toes will return to a nice clear pigment. I really like the pressure the can provides when applying to my feet. It has enough power to shoot the solvent between my toes.

This helps me a lot. It makes applying the solvent quick. I usually do a quick shot from the top. And then repeat from left to right the under my toes. Also if needed I will apply to the bottom of may feet.

Overall I am enjoying itch free feet. I hope my toes clear up before my beach vacation in a few week.

My nose thanks you Dr. Scholl’s! My Fiance has to wear heavy duty boots for work. The boots do not have any ventilation and well his feet and my nose suffer. I got him the Dr. Scholl’s Odor-X Antifungal Spray Powder and we are very happy with the result.

He sprays a little in his shoes after he takes them off and sprays his feet as well. Because of the odor control and fast results, he is allowed to take his boots off in the house again. It worth it to note that he has sensitive skin as well and the spray does not bother his skin at all.

I highly recommend this product for those that have a similar issue with their feet.

This product is awesome, it keeps my feet dry and eliminates any foot odors. I now have the whole family using this and there is no longer that nasty locker room foot smell where everyone leaves their shoes.

The spray goes where you direct it, has a pleasant smell without being overpowering and does the job it was designed to do. I really like it is antifungal so any issues with bacteria growing is eliminated.

This product is for your nasty, smelling shoes. The ones you neglect everyday or just the ones you only wear running or to the gym. This stuff is powerful and cannot be applied inside without a great deal of ventilation.

I do it on my back deck when needed. Great product and highly recommended.

This shoe disinfectant had good reviews so I bought it and it seems to work well. It does remove the foot odor from shoes, and to me, it’s better than what you would get in a drug or grocery store. I’ve used one can and bought three more before I finished the first can.

I use it in my shoes almost daily when I remove them. It doesn’t inhibit odor from penetrating the shoes as I believe some reviewers indicated, but it does eliminate the odors.

If you’ve got kids in tackle football, or any sport for that matter! FunkAway- buy it! Omg, his football gear was HORRID! It’s been 90-100 degrees here lately with high humidity. These boys are just drenched in sweat on the field.

Can I just tell you that I absolutely love love love this product! Funkaway is amazing at getting rid of terrible odors! You can use it on clothing, shoes, pet items, bedding, furniture and much more! I actually use this on a few items that had been in a fire and it took away the smoky smell after a few applications.

must admit I was a little skeptical when I first purchased this product. Believe me when I tell you, after a long day on the golf course my shoes stink. It’s is a vague (a good thing) but pleasant smell that eliminates odours without an overpowering ‘masking’ smell. It kills the stank causing bacteria.

These odor eliminators are packaged in a way that makes them easy to place where you need them. You can peel the lid back a little or a lot depending on your space. My choice for something like this is usually vanilla, citrus, or fresh cotton and I thought lavender might be a bit too strong, but it isn’t! And it eliminates odors rather than just perfuming the air.

I placed this up on a shelf in a closet that hides my cat’s litter box. Even though I never noticed an odor from the closet (no door, entrance is curtained), not long after placing this odor eliminator in the closet I noticed how clean and fresh it makes the space.

I can see placing these in several ares of a home and in a vehicle. This would fit very well under a car seat to clean the air without being overwhelming. Place this on the shelf in your bedroom closet to deal with humid stale air.

×3. Ol Duke though knew what they were doing with this. It’s hard as crap to find. IF you luck up and find it, you think this price has went up. you aint seen nothing ! People have began to buy this powder specifically in bulk them attempt to resale for double if not triple the price.

While we absolutely love the product, its getting to the point that have to purchase 3 bottles at a time, it’s not affordable. This on the other hand, makes me sad. I dont see not a single one of the 3 taking on a part time job to support their foot powder fetish by Duke Cannon.

I got decided to try this as opposed to costly sneaker deodorant sprays. It works, very well! My work boots must stay onsite so I cannot take them home and dry them out. This solves the problem for me.

Put some of the powder in my boots at the end of my shift, shake boots to disperse it geek to toe and let it be. Next shift my boots are dry and smelling good. Best of all, I do not have any reactions with my feet while the powder is in my boots and I am wearing them on shift.

What else does one need?.

The shoe freshener works really well and keeps my boots smelling new. Im glad I purchased it. I still need to get more of these products so that I can keep my boots not only smelling fresh but looking fresh.

I recommend this product if you want to keep these well made shoes looking great and smelling great.

I still haven’t received my order since April 20th. Big lack of professionalism and it is still the customer who suffers the consequences. It’s starting to be really long knowing that I paid a very large sum.

I hope you will find a solution in line with my problem because you still promised delivery between 10 and 15 days. 21 days later I still have nothing. No notification message to reassure me, no trust, liars! It is still up to the client to take the steps to make things move forward.

I have been buying these for several years through the container store and so happy that BB carries them now. I love that it is a organic way to keep the air clean. I use them through out the home especially in a room that my dog likes to sleep in.

The room always smells so fresh & clean. Once a month I just let the bag sit in the sun for a few hours, shake the bag up & it just continually works cleaning the air. There has never been any damage to where ever I place the bag.

Comes in nice neutral colors too. Small bag does 8×11 room well. Well worth the $.

I did some decent research about this product before buying and was skeptical given the mixed reviews on the internet. To sum it up. IM IMPRESSED AND HAPPY. I never write reviews. I am just so impressed by how well this works that I had to get on here and let you all know about it.

My cats litter box is in my tiny bathroom and she can drop some serious stink bombs. My entire bedroom used to STINK (like can’t even stay in the room) after she went to the bathroom, and now there is no smell at all!! Not even a hint!! I hung the bag right over her box.

Im not sure if this helped at all, but when I opened the package I smushed, moved and shook the charcoal around inside the sack – maybe this is why it worked for some and not others?? Maybe if you don’t notice a difference – do this and see if it does anything.

I read the reviews before buying and one review simply said “MAGIC!” I 100% AGREE!!! This is pure magic. I shook it up placing near my catbox, as one review believed that shacking the bag helped to activate it.

It works soo well I totally forget to clean the box! I have 2 cats and this is the BEST thing I bought compared to all the other air purifiers and fresheners I have wasted money on. I don’t understand the good reviews for this product. These insoles stained the inside of my shoes gray and my socks as well on the first day of wear. It absorbed all the sweat alright, but took forever to get dry unlike my last pair of store bought insoles.

Now it’s been 2 weeks and I keep finding little black fragments coming off the insoles. Probably will not last long. Will not be buying this product again.

I’ve been using Odor Eaters since the 70’s. I was a teenager back then and participating in two sports all summer long meant some pretty stinky feet. My expensive tennis and track shoes stayed nice and fresh with Odor Eaters, plus my feet didn’t smell as badly once they were in my shoes.

I couldn’t find them for awhile and was worried. So glad I found them at Target. The three pack is a great value. There really shouldn’t be so much excitement in cutting shoe liners, but I couldn’t wait to add them to my shoes again.

The length of time they last depends on how often you wear your shoes, how much your feet perspire and what type of shoe. I find in athletic shoes you should replace after no more than three months. If you add to your shoes, you’ll find your they last longer.

While I was looking for these, I had a few pair of shoes I wore without socks that I had to trash just because of the smell.

Best low cost option to preserve slip on shoes worn bare foot, to keep them from getting so gross. Adds cushion and comfort too. I’ve used more expensive insoles that wear down just as quickly as these- might as well just stock up on these and replace them as needed.

You can also wrap these in a thin ped/ankle sock before you put it in the shoe for additional comfort that’s washable.

I am guilty of having sweaty feet and since I’m on my feet for 12 plus hours it doesn’t help with that. I have tried just powder but I felt as if that wasn’t enough then I discovered this product and let me tell you my feet smell pretty good after work or working out.

I developed a really bad sweat / smell situation a few years ago that I suspect was related to other health issues I’ve been experiencing. I have tried EVERYTHING. Every spray, powder, lotion, deodorant, freezing my shoes, soaking my feet, multiple washings, keeping wipes, extra socks, and extra spray EVERYWHERE.

all with no improvement. I cannot even believe that it has been more than a month now of not experiencing ANY odor. With my health issues I have been feeling like nothing works: well this does. This is the only thing I’ve tried in YEARS that does what it says it will.

After using this for six months, I can say it works shockingly well for having mostly natural ingredients. The only time this doesn’t work as well is when I wear socks or tights that have a lot of nylon in them since nylon is not very breathable.

You spray it in your shoes (they don’t tell you how much or how long) and then let them sit overnight. I gave each of my shoes two good sprays and then waited. What I discovered is this product doesn’t eliminate shoe odors – it fights with them.

Ultimately you end up shoes that smell like a combination of fresh scent and existing shoe odor BUT at an overall odor reduction of about 70% – that’s good except it doesn’t last. Its been almost 3 days and I’m feeling like my shoes may be needing another application soon.

That would be fine if this was a good sized can at a reasonable price – but its not. One can is almost as much as a 3 pack of Target Up & Up Odor Insoles – and at about 1. 25 inches in diameter, it’s one of the tiniest cans you’ll ever buy.

With regular use I’d be surprised if it lasts a couple of weeks – as apposed to a pack of insoles which are good for months. Not worth it.

This Arm & Hammer Odor Defense Shoe Refresher Spray is a godsend! My husband has the stinkiest shoes, and nothing that we have tried has helped. I was so excited to try this shoe deodorant spray. Two sprays in each shoe is just right.

We let them dry overnight, and they smell so much better! I love the scent of this spray, and we have used it so much since we received it. I hope that arm and hammer never stops making this odor defense shoe refresher spray! I would recommend this product to anyone looking to make their shoes smell fresh and clean.

Sport shoe odor gone. My daughters cheer bag gets awful smelling from transporting her practice shoes to and from and because she often forgets to take socks and sweaty practice gear out of it when she gets home.

This helps not only the shoes but the bag (we spray both). Competitive cheer uniforms are also not something you want to wash frequently because of all the jewels so this also works great to spray on the uniform to keep it fresh between comps.
