I bought this to add a needed handhold at a doorway on my trawler. The boat was made in Taiwan in the 80’s, and has a lot of interior teak including handrails like this one (1 loop. ) while the design is not exact, it is so close it doesn’t matter.

NOTE: To install this consistent with good practice you have to drill a deep countersink (or use a forstner) and then plug the hole with a teak plug. It would make sense for these items to come with matching plugs or bungs.

Used to replace handrails on bulkhead and back hatch or 38 year old Chrysler Bucanneer. Centered nicely – didn’t quite reach outside holes – but very close. Had to trim back hatch cover to match curvature- but was very easy to do.

Will be much sturdier than original and looks great for a boat I’ve been sailing since bought new.

This tool works well for “wrangling” bowed Trex and TimberTech deck boards into submission. It also works very well for tung & groove flooring, underlayment and even barn siding. What makes this design much more useful than several of the other “deck wrenches” is that this one , if carefully spaced from the edge of the material, will “lock” into place.

No need to hold it at the correct spacing. A well designed and useful tool.

The tool is exactly what I expected. One of The plastic inserts was loose enough to fall out. I used epoxy to glue it in place. The tool saved a lot of time installing 1 X 6 boards in this deck (140).

Yes, you can install wood decking material without this tool, but you can’t get it as straight and tight – and save much time. Well, well worth the $40 – even for only one project.

This is the NewTechWood in Brazilian Ipe. We used it to cover our small outdoor townhouse terrace. Absolutely happy with this purchase—easy to put together right over the top of the flatplainunfinished space.

So far it’s endured dogs, rain storms, and plants and still looks fantastic. Super durable and it has a really polished look. It’s expensive so I wasn’t able to do our terrace upstairs but would not hesitate to use this again! I highly recommend it for quality and ease of use.

Love this stuff! Our front porch was old concrete that had green gold turf on it. We removed the gold turf to find the glue wouldn’t come off. We found these and put them over the concrete. Everyone loves the look of our front porch!.

Easy to connect, they added an attractive, finished look to our porch. They’ve held up well over the two years we’ve had them installed, through sun and muddy weather. They stay relatively cool underfoot too.

Would recommend.

The screws were the best part of the system and no complaints on those. The drill bit and counterbore system lasted 8 holes in Ipe before no longer having a workable cutting edge. The bits are non carbide and low quality steel.

Do not buy system for the tool, it simply will not last or will just not be cost effective. I’ve since been doing great with separate quality 1/8″ bit and carbide counter bore. The plug colors waver much more on the yellow spectrum while my boards lean redder.

They are usable but will be much more noticeable in the long run and sort of annoyed with that. The hlue attachment is ok, but the glue mostly just hits top of board requiring constant cleanup. Probably better off without.

Wouldn’t recommend. Better to buy the individual pieces.

Works well. We are using Ipe which is very hard and the hole still has a bit of fiber that needs to be sanded off, it is not perfectly clean. Other than that the tool works well and so do the plugs and it saves a lot of time and is the way to go.

The screws in this kit seems not to be original. They would heat up when going through the wood and break before seating. The mahogany was also off, but seemed to be true mahogany

Good alternative for hidden fasteners when using non grooved decking. The screws are good quality, only stripped 1 out of 1000, have good holding power and can be removed. The Camo pro tool could use some improvement in the strength of the handle.

The handle is not solid enough to take high down force when driving in the screws (they actually warn about this). The issue is that occasionally you will not maintain enough pressure on the tool to prevent the rear screw guide from riding up causing the screw to be inserted “high” on the side of the board.

I’m a not-young-anymore woman ripping up my old decking and installing new. I researched hidden fasteners and found the Camo products on Decks Direct, complete with YouTube videos for instruction/demonstration.

I’ve begun laying down the new decking and am VERY pleased with the easy of installation and the appearance. The only caution to be aware of is that once a screw has gone in, it won’t come back out of the decking.

Was doubting these screws would work but they grabbed the wood and secured it down. Highly impressed with the way they worked.

We bought this decking a few months ago for our new screened in porch project and absolutely love it. It’s looks beautiful, has a very smooth feel, and is extremely low maintenance. The customer service experience was also excellent.

After years of re-staining our deck and painting railings and spindles we made the decision to switch to a one and done product. Research led me to Cali Bamboo and many other companies but upon receiving and comparing sample pieces, Cali was the hands down winner.

We laid samples on the deck to test the comfort and the heat produced under our feet. Cali is comfortable to stand on for hours and our little dogs can sleep very comfortably on it during the day. I didn’t find it to be slippery when wet though you should always be careful.

I can’t complement Cali’s Paul enough, he ordered the correct amount of materials so we didn’t have a ton of leftover to store, we have less than one box left. You will be very happy.

This product is great quality, looks fantastic, and was easily installed. I’ve had my deck for four months now and I couldn’t be happier with it. I have more projects in mind and will definitely be using Cali Bamboo products.

The product is great. The use of deck clips is somewhat time consuming, but well worth it. The decking expands and contracts and these clips allow for that without any chance of cracking. It’s a beautiful 1,000 S.

I replaced all of the horizontal boards (>1500 board feet) on my deck, including stairs with Trex Transcend. I simple got tired of re-staining the wood every 2-3 years. I stained all of the vertical wood to come close to the appearance of the Trex.

I did all of the work by myself. I thought installation was relatively easy. Aside from a few boards that were delivered with flaws (they were replaced at no charge), I encountered no problems with the boards aside from some minor warping.

That was easily corrected during installation. They do scratch – I hit one with the router and I have one where a still spinning saw blade touch it. I replaced the one and left the other. They are slippery when wet, maybe a little more than the wood, but not much.

They seem much warmer in direct sunlight, but that’s not much of a factor on our shady deck. I used the solid stain on the cut ends of some of the boards and, for now, it looks great. Not sure how long the stain will last, but the cut ends accepted the stain very well.

This requires maintenance, but not like that. Now I have to figure out an easy way to get walnut stains off of Trex.

We are planning on building a deck on the back of our home and we have been looking at sample boards and trying to find the perfect one we both like. Well, I got this Trex Sample- Island Mist and absolutely love the look, it looks like real wood with grain effects and the color is perfect.

It is really heavy and I am pleased to say it protects against rot, warp, termites and splintering. It is backed with a 25 year limited residential stain and fade warranty. Another big factor in my decision is it is made with 95% recycled materials.

To me that is awesome! I highly recommend to anyone whom is planning on building a porch, deck or any type of outdoor flooring to consider Trex, you will not be disappointed.

This is an excellent deck sample and I sincerely love the aesthetic texture of it. It’s only a 1 feet sample item but the product can be used in a variety of ways. I’m currently using it as a small shelf space item on my wall.

It can hold small books and other treasured items. It is not large enough or sturdy enough to hold televisions or full-size stereo systems but it can hold small computer speakers. The nature of this material is faux wood.

I definitely think the item will hold up with time and I sincerely think the manufacturer of this item will improve the material in the future. I love this item!.

Trex Transend is a beautiful deck material. I was surprised at the weight and heft of the sample. Our sample of Spiced Rum is a rich brown color with some darker tones and woodgrain that give a very natural look.

This stuff is solid! I can see why it won’t fade, stain, or scratch. No maintenance, just hose it off. I’m afraid it will outlast my house. Being 95% recycled materials is great for the environment too.

I am comparing this to some Trex product on my deck that is just over 10 years old. This is a good improvement over earlier generations of Trex. The color coating is substantial, and if scratched, holds its color well.

The texture looks more like wood grain than some older Trex I have, so this will be less slick when wet or covered with a bit of snow. This very solid, and I am hopeful that it will have outstanding durability and mildew resistance.

I bought this to assist a move from Nevada to Montana and then to haul outsized loads once living there. It just plain works. There were issues with runs in the paint and rust where the tie down transport chains to Tractor Supply from the production facility chipped the paint to bare metal.

I angle ground the rust to bare metal and repainted, added a spare tire carrier with tire, welded on a swing away footed tongue jack and this trailer rocks! It pulled totally stable heavily (not over) loaded at freeway speeds across two states.

It takes piles of waste to the dump just like you would expect it to. I should have gotten one of these years ago. Carry On does a credible job building an inexpensive, affordable utility trailer, just what I needed.

I deducted one star only because of the cosmetic rework I needed to perform. My recommendation: if you have a need for a small utility trailer, buy this one. Carry On earns their motto “A trailer in every driveway.

I received my Decking samples the middle of November, I chose two colors of what I thought I would like on my deck. I was really surprised at the thickness of the samples and they look like real wood with the grain enhanced with a little darker color.

The foggy wharf design reminds me of wharf boards on a dock. These boards (decks) are built with a slight tilt causing for better drainage and the grooves help with air flow and preventing the buildup of moisture or mildew.

The material used is from recycled materials and the technology used helps in no warping, splintering, or wood rot and The best feature is- termite resistant.

I put this through an series of test to check durability, ease of cleaning and colorfast. It surpassed all my tests. I left it out in the rain, sleet, snow, freezing temps, wind and sun for 2 weeks (no heat or hot weather as it is winter season) and it looked perfectly fine after being exposed to the elements.

It is easy to clean either by hose or wiping up a small area with a rag. My 3 yr old grandson ran cars on it, hit it with toys, a small hammer, buried it in dirt, then mud and it cleaned of fine with no scratch marks or damage to the surface.

I even put red dye on it and it came off with ease. It is thick and durable.

The Trex – Enhance line is a product that I have used many times as a contractor. There are similar products available, but some of these have priced themselves out of a lot of my customer’s price range, or just don’t stand the test of time.

I built a sunroom with the Trex Enhance Foggy Wharf and the finished product was beautiful! The color reminds me of the “old boardwalks” but has the endurance of a composite. The color of the Foggy Wharf blends together beautifully and puts a smile on all who see it!.

Purchased a “Gen 2″ trailer a month ago for the express purpose of hauling a 900 lb Harley bagger down to Florida from Northwest Indiana. The wire mesh is a bit thin for 450 lb per square foot, in other words two tires sitting on the mesh, 450 pounds on a 3″ x 4” area.

Not a problem as I intended on installing a 1/2″ green treated plywood deck that measurably added rigidity for a mere 70 lbs of extra weight. Also reinforced the ramp with the same plywood, 3′ wide, screwed all in with galvanized 1/4″ carriage bolts, fender washers, flat washers, lock washers and nuts.

My bike was about 2″ too long to have the ramp up, but no worries as I had intended to unbolt after getting the bike up, then jacking the bike up and turning the ramp 90 degrees and sliding under back wheel.

Worked perfect, no “air brake” with the ramp up. I added a trailer jack, as, God forbid, I were to lose both tires to flats, my tongue weight was way over what I would want to lift. Ok, now that we have gone through all of that, here is what I think.

The trailer towed perfect, empty, and with the 900 lb load. The paint is better than the first Gen trailers, but I still have bubbles on one rail where it was not cleaned well enough before painting.

But no worries, will grind down this spring and primer and paint. The tires have a sufficient load rating, and the speed rating is 75 mph, good enough. A friend has the “first gen” trailer from a couple of years ago, and he was very impressed with the square channel outer frame, and felt it was 10 times more rigid than his.

The only thing that I was surprised by was the gas mileage. I have a 7’x16’x 6. 5′ enclosed trailer that I get 10 mpg fully loaded pulling with my 2010 5. 4 liter 4×4 truck. Pulling the trailer and bike I got 13 mpg.

Over a few (?) beers, my friend and I deduced it is not the weight, but the wind drag on the wire mesh, even with the plywood on top. Going to maybe attempt to cover the bottom of the mesh with something, a review for later.

Don’t expect a high strength rigid trailer, with show car paint, not for the money you will pay for this. Those trailers go for three times the amount you will pay at TSC for this trailer. If you are hauling a bike or a medium size zeroturn, a great trailer.

Be certain to check that ALL bolts are tightened before driving off, and that wiring is good. I would recommend this trailer.

I’m loving my new trailer! I needed 5′ wide for my John Deere mower , but I didn’t want a huge trailer. 5×8 seems smaller than it really is, which is perfect! I can haul the mower when needed as well as all my project essentials like mulch, rocks, dirt, etc.

I drilled holes in the cross bars and bolted treated lumber on as “sides. ” They are 1″x8″ so that the ramp will still fold inwards. I was uncomfortable drilling holes through the powder coat – but to be honest, there are places the powder coat wasn’t perfect and it’s already starting to show a little rust beginning.

I may as well have a few rust spots on the top, too. AND make this trailer more functional for the various types of things I need to haul. I bought a large tarp which I’ll put down before loading rocks, mulch or dirt, and I’m really pleased at how functional this will be.

The trailer pulled quietly even when empty, and it’s attractive as heck. I LOVE that the ramp folds inwards/down, because when they don’t – they are just wind catchers and kill your mileage. This was one of the deciding features for me.

I also wanted a treated wood floor – vs the mesh that stretches out, breaks and requires welding to fix. I suppose if I were a welder, I wouldn’t care – but I’m not. I’m quite satisfied with the purchase of this trailer.

I waited for the 10% purchase deal from Tractor Supply and got a bargain. The price was very good and economical. Used trailers are hard to come by right now, and none nearly as nice as this, selling for more.

I don’t know how this got so many stars mine is a piece of absolute junk. I am on a road trip and needed something to haul my motorcycle because my hitch hauler broke. This was the only one anyone had for 100 miles so I went ahead and bought it.

First of all the post that connects the tongue to the trailer is held on by 2 little bolts, it’s not welded anywhere. Both of the tabs on the bars that lock the rear gate broke off so I have to have 2 people on either side just to get the gate down.

Not only that but all the boards are NAILED to the metal so have of them come out and all the boards start to warp. And finally, I have driven about 500 miles on the trailer with a motorcycle (300lb dirt bike) and a generator (100lb) and both tires are almost completely bald.

Even though I check the tire pressure every other has stop. This trailer was total junk and a huge waste of money. The quality control of this manufacturer is absolutely horrible. Please don’t waste your money on this.

I purchased this 3 axle 40 ft flatbed after extensive research and watching quality reviews on different forums. I have to say enough good about this flatbed trailer. I was a bit apprehensive at first, but when I got the 3 axle 40 ft flatbed trailer, my fears disappeared.

Like many others here, the transport job went great and I thought I’d found an amazing tri axle flatbed trailer that was perfect for me. For the price this is a super nice flatbed trailer. I feel it is money well spent.

Ive been riding for about 3 years now, just got this one as a quick replacement for my broken board until I got a new better one but this exceeded my expectations by a landslide! Super happy with the board.

Rides smooth, turns great overall a great board especially for the price! Great for beginners and anyone who just likes to cruise around.

I really like the blank natural look to the board, though I bought this board to paint it. As of now, I have ridden it quite a bit and still plan to customize/paint a design on the bottom of the deck to personalize it.

Overall this board has been phenomenal for the price point, I would seriously recommend this to anybody looking for a starter/cheap priced board! I have loved it so far!.

I bought this as one of my impulse buys and this has seriously got me into longboarding. Once I eventually loosened my trucks I really got going on this board. The turning is great but it does creak, maybe because I still haven’t worn it out yet, but this is a great longboard for just a cruise around the neighborhood or for any tricks you may want to do.
