20 Best Women’S Tennis Shoes For Narrow Feet (2023 Updated)

First off, stitching in the top of the vamp of the right shoe came loose and was dangling within two days of wearing the shoes and it bothers me all the time because I notice everything. Should have been factory seconds.

Secondly, shoe is not so good if you use custom or cushioned insoles. The arch on this shoe was a bit lacking for me and wether I use my usual spenco insoles or the Step Plus insoles which I bought from SAS -_- , there is not enough room in the shoes and my toes are irritated against the top of the shoe.

I had a perfect fit when I bought them but with ” after market” insoles they become too small. My other SAS shoes are not like that. If I had to buy them again I would order in double wide instead of just wide.

The good part is that the sole of the shoe is impressive and I feel much positive return from them when walking which is saying a lot as I weigh over 300lbs and stand 6’5″. If SAS wants to send me a replacement pair in 15w that may just fit the bill for me, but I feel like these shoes may have been a mistake as I cannot use them for work as I intended without being able to fit my arch insoles and my feet in at the same time.

Would be 3. 5 stars but I don’t have that option.

I purchased my third pair in 5 years 4 months ago. I took them to the store where I purchased them when one of the eyelets for the laces cracked preventing me from using one row of lacing. The employee said I shouldn’t wear them every day and that there was no warranty on the shoe.

I’m retired now so thats all I wear now. Maybe she was right because I only wore the previous pairs on weekends. I am disappointed in the quality of the shoe which is a shame because they are comfortable.

But I am more turned off of SAS from the customer service I received. The clerk first said it wasn’t the pair I purchased until she compared them to a new pair. Then she said I hadn’t bought 2 other pair without asking if I had purchased them at another store.

Then she said the shoes were older than 4 months multiple times. My wife asked me later if I counted the number of times she called me a liar. She took my name and number but I was not surprised she didn’t call me back like she said she would.

I guess she lied. I was not asking for a new pair of shoes. I just wanted a solution to make them wearable.

SAS MADE IN AMERICA! Great quality true comfort the minute you put them on! My Dad Loves them! They are a little spendy however as the saying goes “you get what you pay for”, and these shoes will not disappoint so don’t let the cost scare you away.

Our feet carry us a great distance in a lifetime and when you get older quality structure and comfort in a shoe is important. The Velcro closure is a plus as well, easy on, easy off. It was nice to visit an actual shoe store as it’s not so often that you have a clerk properly fit you to a shoe and I think that is what I liked best about my Dads experience with SAS.

So, way to go SAS, you knocked it out of the park!.

This is not my first choice. I loved model 840 V4 size 8 xxwide because they were a great fit with my AFO (brace) on my left foot. They had an ideal toe box and width for me with no seams around the toe area and were neutral so not to aggravate my supination.

You discontinued this version and went to version 5. The pair of 840V5 that I ordered from you did not seem to fit as well. They were a little snug in the toe. Do you think this could have been just the pair I tried that just were a little different or did you change the mold of the shoe on the V5.

the 1006 model i am trying is not as comfortable and the XXwidth is more pronounced on the outer side of my foot and I ordered an 8 1/2 (1/2 size bigger than normal).

I have the white perf in a 9S. It fits well in the heel, but is perhaps a bit too confining in the toe box. I may try these in a different color in a 9N (the size I wear in the Dream loafer) and see if that fits better.

My hesitation has to do with the tongue of the shoe. The tongue on my left shoe hits hard against the tendon at the front of my ankle when I flex the foot. (Doesn’t bother me at all on the right foot.

) I have many other pairs of SAS shoes — including other lace-ups — and this is the only style with which I have this problem. It actually leaves me with a bruise after a couple hours of wear. I’ve thought of taking the shoe to a cobbler to see if there is anything at all they can do to shorten the tongue by a couple millimeters.

Just that much would solve the problem for me. Other than this issue — which may be a “me” issue more than a shoe issue, since I don’t have the problem with the right shoe — I really love this shoe.

Comfortable and a nice, clean style. Great with leggings (and hopefully shorts). I can wear my Traveler Lace-Up without a sock, but with these Sporty Luxe Lace-Up, I prefer low-cut sock.

Having severe back issues and numerous joint replacements I am limited to what I have come to call “old lady comfort” shoes. I miss my heels and miss youthful, fashionable shoes. These provide that level of comfort and look absolutely youthful and so fashionable, at least in the navy color.

(I think the one color unfortunately from the picture doesn’t even look like same style). As my heel is narrow, I purchased the narrow width. They fit absolutely wonderful. The comfort is what I would expect from SAS, top notch.

Best of all my daughter could wear these shoes and would wear these shoes! In terms of size, I have found that both the whole and half size up fit equally well so if they are missing your size, check the size a half size larger and give them a try.

These could work with athleisure clothing as well as jeans or a casual skirt. They provide good traction on multiple surfaces. While not as “cushy” as the regular tennis shoes and also cut a little lower on the foot, they are otherwise great.

Might suggest no sock or the little socks that you can’t see inside your shoe. Remind me a bit of loafers or boat shoes in the navy color.

This is a great around the house, everyday, anywhere casual shoe. I love the style and fit. I wear 9. 5 narrow. I’ve had this sneaker for about a year, and through fall and winter, I wear about every other day.

My rheumatologist recommends switching shoes every other day. They offer excellent support and no foot pain. I’m happy that you continue to carry them, as I will get another pair when I need them. I got red.

Love the sporty color.

I really love the shoes but I ordered my regular size (8. 5 women/standard width) and they were too short! My big toe was rubbing against the front of the shoe. I am afraid that during play in the heat of the Florida sun, this would get really uncomfortable.

I wish I could exchange them for a size 9 but they are out of stock.

Let me tell my experience with this shoe. I wanted a non-slip tennis style shoe. Usually I don’t buy black, but that was the only color offered. I wore the shoe at home to make sure of the fit. It seemed fine.

Mind you, this was indoors, not on a long walk. After my first long walk outdoors, my feet were killing me! Yikes! I’d worn the shoe and could not take it back. I determined that maybe I needed to break the shoe in.

I wore the shoe intermittently, varying the times I walked in it. It took about 2 months of short walks to have the foot bed adjust to my feet, the way SAS shoes do. I will always have to wear a sock or a socklet with the shoe because of the mesh sides.

Positive for the mesh: the shoe is lighter. Negative: it’s mesh on the shoe sides, not a smooth finish of leather or a padded fabric. I definitely feel the scratchiness of the mesh if I don’t wear a sock.

I’ve also worked in kitchens for 40 years. This shoe is not for kitchens and maybe not even for a server. If you have the misfortune to spill something on your foot while working in the kitchen, it will go right through the mesh.

And if the liquid is hot, watch out. SAS has other slip resistant shoes that I’ve found more appropriate for culinary or restaurant workers. The support in the shoe is wonderful now that I’ve broken them in.

I would buy them again without hesitation. It has a padded tongue and they are tie-up not slip on.

I haven’t worn these to work yet but I believe they are going to be awesome. I put in my arch supports and they feel like they were made for me. I wear 11 slim and it is difficult to find shoes that are slim enough.

These are wonderful.

Bought for my husband. My impression- online picture looks way better than the real shoe in person. Very cheap looking; the material is thin and the print appeared duller in person which made it look like an old pair of shoes.

It’s not worth >$99. I would say that $39 is more appropriate- looks like something you can buy at Walmart or Target that was meant to look high end but ends up looking cheap because of the material.

My husband impression- cheap looking. One star because it’s true to size. Second star for comfort. Not worth the price point.

Highly recommend. Needed a good walking shoe to address plantar fasciitis on one foot and a bunion on the other. Ordered reg size and width. I sometimes order wides to accommodate the bunion but often find that wides are then too wide on the rest of the foot and down to the heel causing my feet to swim and my heel to pop out a bit.

These shoes have a bit of extra room in the toe box and flexible material to better accommodate and conform to a slightly wider foot at the front without the shoe being overly wide throughout. The insole provides great support for my high arches and cushioning/cupping of the heel.

I got the black and gray which go with everything and are also very fashionable. I imagine these would be supportive, great walking shoes even for those without any foot issues.

This is my second pair of Propet shoes from Healthy Feet Store. I purchased the first pair last year, and my feet thanked me immensely. I suffer from plantar fasciitis and I experienced relief almost immediately.

I had been wearing the wrong shoe width for so many years. My only complaint about my first pair was that they weren’t very stylish. So this time around, I went with this pair in Black which I thought was much more stylish (and most everyone has agreed).

I was looking for an “active” style shoe. I usually wear the Tour Mesh but it has been out of stock. Although I did not like the color of this shoe, I hoped it would be a replacement until the Tour Mesh is available again.

This shoe IS lightweight. But it seems to have VERY little arch support. I will wear it occasionally with my orthotics in place. It seems to run just a bit short but the sift mesh does allow stretch.

I replaced the neon lime green laces with the white ones included after the first day of wear. My friends commented that they “couldn’t see me” past the glowing color of my new shies.

This is the only running shoe I wear. The cushioning is just right and my foot lands in a natural position when I run. I especially appreciate the tongue cushioning as the top of my foot would sometimes bruise due to laces in the past.
