20 Best Women’S Cowboy Boots For Wide Feet (2023 Updated)

I’m very new to the western boot world, and had been looking around the web to find the perfect 1st pair for me to own. So happy I came across the Laredo brand, and these Vanessa boots. They were great for the price, and the style, fit and comfort are AMAZING.

These are for wider calves, in which I have, but I know they can fit an even wider calf than mine because I have so much space in them. They’re so comfortable for all day wear. I know that these will be my go-to boots for so many of my outfits!.

I love love love these boots! They fit me perfectly. They hug my legs and are not flared out. Easy to get on. Very good quality!

The stitching is beautiful and flawless. Beautiful and comfortable pair of boots. Really better than I expected so if you like them, BUY them.

I believe that I would have loved the boots if I could have ever gotten them! The first time I ordered them I paid extra to have them shipped ground but that didn’t happen. They got sent back because they went to the post office and they don’t deliver to my address! So I called and spoke with someone.

Explained my postal problem and he assured me that he would take care of it. He even refunded my extra money for shipping the first time. I was pleased and waiting on my boots. low and behold my boots were sent to the post office again and sent back again!! As much as I wanted the boots I’m mad at this point!! I called again and this someone can’t explain to me what happened!! Told him that I just wanted my money back!! Well I find out that they have the boots back for 4 days and hadn’t even tried to refund my money.

Sorry to say that I want ever order from you all again even as much as I like the LOOK of your products. I don’t like to be ugly but come on you guys need to get it together!!!.

I really love the look and feel of these boots. They’re more of a brown than black, but would easily look great with a black outfits. Very comfortable. The problem is the first pair were miss sewn on the heel causing blister.

I returned immediately and month almost to-the-day I received second pair (a long time to wait for return). The second pair had one boot a completely different color, returned the next day. Waited almost another month for the third pair.

Now I received my 3rd pair. Looked and felt great. Finally they are perfect! NOT. Now the stiching design is coming out on the top of the boot. I’ve appreciated QVC history in customer service until now.

It isn’t there fault for the boots manufacturing but I feel that it would be reasonable to offer over night shipping and would be the least they could offer.

I searched for quite a while for a pair of work cowboy boots. These fit the bill. The have a great square toe, a bit taller than the short work boots, treaded bottom so they won’t slip. I like the contrast of the white.

The only part I don’t like is the thread on the white is very colorful. I was hoping it would be more neutral. I usually wear a size 6 1/2 and that is what I got in this boot. I also ordered the 6 to try because my foot slipped a bit in the 6 1/2 but the 6 was too tight.

I can wear thicker wool socks during the fall, winter, and spring with the 6 1/2. It was great ordering from TSC. Didn’t take too long to ship (for free) and I could return my size 6 to a store for free.

These are not true to size. They are not wide. The are average. I have a pink pair Just like them that are a true wide and they are much bigger. I called about returning and was told I cannot return because they came from a third party company.

I have these boots with the white shaft, and I absolutely love them! I got them used from my aunt and they where fairly worn. Well, I have has them for a year and a half now, and they are still holding up! And I’m extremely hard on my boots! When I mean hard, I mean everyday, all day, outside in the barn, to the store, firewood.

You name it! Comfort: 5 Durability: 5.

I was looking for gray / black boots. I took a chance even though they are indicated brown since, in the photo, they seemed dark gray to me. I am happy, because the color is to my taste. I would say grayer than brown.

They are wonderful. The size is correct, but too small to put on an orthosis.

Amazed at the great fit right out of the box. No break in needed! Beautiful detailing in the leather. Slightly less Cushioned feel in the insole compared to my Dan Post Pasadena boots but still very comfortable.

I love these cute little boots. I didn’t think I’d like the large, riund toe but it actually makes my foot look smaller. The Fatbabys are extremely comfortable. The width and the fit are true to size.

I would recommend these boots and I found that Tractor Supply has many, many items for gift giving. My store’s location in Houghton Lake is clean, organized and inviting. The staff greet you when you enter the door and say goodbye when you are leaving whether you made a purchase or not.

I bought 1/2 size smaller and they fit perfect. If you wear your jeans over the boots I suggest having tall socks on hand so the shaft doesn’t chap your leg. My store is the Houghton Lake location and I would recommend anyone to stop in and when you do, note the greeting upon entering, the cleanliness, organization and the many products Tractor Supply offers.

I used to ride horses a lot back in my younger years and wore Ariat Ropers all the time. I mean like 24/7. I am not 62 and broke my leg last year. I’ve been wearing Alegria Seville and have given all of my wore out ropers to Goodwill hoping someone could get some use out of them.

I honestly thought my boot wearing days were behind me due to the damage of my muscles and bone (I was hit by a car as a pedestrian walking into work through the parking lot). My leg swells so bad now after working that I thought I would buy a pair of fatbabys to see how they would do on my leg.

They are fantastic and I’ll be buying another pair so that I can have another color and have one for work (hospital technical) and one for home, doing chores and running errands. I’m so happy I bought them! The only little thing is that I wear white cotton socks and the top of the boots feel like little right right out of the box with that.

I usually have that problem with shoes and I fill a quart bag with water, seal tight and placed in the freezer and they stretched out a tad. I do use mink oil on them right after taking out of the freezer and every few months throughout wear of all my shoes.

Again, I love them! Bought my normal size and they are super wonderful boots! Thank you Ariat and Massey’s for letting me feel normal again!.

Unfortunately I had to return them, because they were too small. I guess boots are really something that you need to try on first. But because of Mason Easy Pay return system, it was just that easy. But the product was great.

I wish that my fat foot wasnt so big.

Only had a chance to wear them for about 4 hours while running errands, and arrived home without a blister, no unusual aches or pains. They really are a wide cut through the calf, the added give of the deep V’s make for some added space as well.

I worried about ordering a wide size, as many times the advertised ‘wide’ is really a medium at best, but not with these, wide is wide! They look great, feel great, and I finally have tall boots again.

Would of given them a 5 star rating, but need to wear them more to find out how long they hold up.

Love the design, looks great dressed up or down. Like any leather boot, it was painful to break in, but they are super comfy now. One boot feels a little more narrow in the toe area, but it might just be my feet.

I don’t have wide calves, and they sti look great! I just like my boots looser around the calves.

I have short but wide feet. Length wise my foot is about a 7. 5, but since I’ve got fat feet I haven’t been able to fit into anything smaller than a 9. 5! I’m In love with the fit of these. They’re so easy to get on and off.

They’re definitely not the greatest quality, but they’ll get the job done, they’re cute and they fit! Lol.

There is nothing in the description of this item that indicates the calf is wide. When I received the boots, my legs swam in them. It is a wide calf boot and it looks horrible when a wide calf is not needed.

I’m a 8 1/2 shoe size. Ordered me a 9M and they fit beautifully. Material doesn’t seem original like my other brand name boots but am very happy with this purchase. Will be ordering a pair for my daughter.

I have owned cowboy boots for over 50 years, several brands, and these are the most uncomfortable ones ever. Like walking on concrete. I tried Dr. Scholls inserts for boots, and no better. If I go to thick, then top of foot rubs on top of boot.

Great fit! The only issue I had was the store security tag was still attached to the boots. I ordered them online so it was no fault of a store associate. The color looks exactly as the image posted.

Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Very disappointed in the quality of this boot (and most recent Justin boots). The heels are only foam and the boot “leather” feels like cardboard. I am a size 10 in everything but these were still tight in the toe.

Went with an Ariat boot with a real rubber treaded heel from Sportsman’s as they seem to be the only brand still making a boot to last.

Definitely run small in the footbed so size up a full size. For those with wide calves these boots might be quite exciting bc the stretchy panel can help them actually fit. The finishing of the product could be better.

Some threads were very obviously cut – don’t know how long these boots will last but then again they’re not real leather which is reflected in the price so they might still be worth it. The boot also feels light not heavy, which is really great.

I purchased my usual size, 7. 5. I got sent the shoes in size 10. Annoying. Had to return and reorder. I got my 7. 5. Both times, the boxes that the shoes are in came half demolished. I tried on my second pair.

The boots are horrible quality. It looks like someone wore them and ruined the shaft. There is a huge white chip on the side. And of course, my size is now sold out. Never had this kind of experience with DSW before.

I love these boots! The zipper in the back was an extra special touch for me. I have very big calves, and these fit perfect! The heal is very comfortable. They are very stylish! The only small issue I had was the boots stitching was not as well made as some of the threading was sticking out, but I can deal with that because it is only noticeable close up!.

I visited Phoenix and picked up a pair of black Ropers for my hard to fit surgically reconstructed feet! Sadly, women’s boot selection no longer address width issues. I was elated to find the Heritage boots in black (D width) after trying on at least 20 other pairs! I liked them so much I ordered a pair of distressed brown.

The brown will take a bit longer to break in due to a leas supple finish, but wearing them every day has made them more pliable. I’ve been walking along the Pacific NW rocky coast through mud, sand and salt water with my 2 high energy German Shepherd Dogs, and the boots provide a solid base of support.

These boots seem to be extremely water resistant and almost indestructible! I just brush the dirt off, and I’m ready to wear them to a casual dinner! LOVE both pair but the flexibility of the brown rate them as my daily favorite! Just wish they made them in red!.

The boots are amazing! The only reason I gave it one less star is because the insoles are super thick!! I couldn’t even get my foot in and I was so disappointed because I loved the boots and I have trouble finding cowboy boots as it is because my calves are so thick.

Anyways I figured out I can remove the insoles and replace them with a thin pair I bought at Steve Madden. My calves are 17” and I bought the wide calf option and I still have room in them! I couldn’t be happier! I wore them to a 2 day country music festival this past weekend and my feet didn’t hurt either! First, let me admit that I am a huge fan of Ariat boots. I grew up between a Horse and Cattle Ranch in Texas and a Sod-busting Farm in Illinois. Other than some hand-made rodeo boots and a pair of custom cavalry boots for reenactments, I’ve been wearing Ariat since I discovered them in 1997 while moonlighting at a tractor and farm supply company.

They have always been “out-of-the-box comfortable” and ready to wear. If cared for properly, Ariat boots will stand up to one heck of a beating, whether it’s mud and water, horse work, or navigating around town, pretty much all you need to do is keep them clean and well conditioned and they’re bomb proof.

I’m buying this model for the second time. The first I bought in 2018 and have pretty much worn them every day since. They have held up like every other pair I’ve bought and I wouldn’t be replacing them now if I didn’t get threatened by my wife to give her another Christmas wish or suffer the consequence of an red-head South Texas cowgirl with Irish blood being miffed at me.

It’s getting very difficult to find boots with round toes anymore and I am in agreement with the other reviewer, not sure why the square toe is so popular, they’re hideous and completely non-functional in my world.

Round toes help you get your foot back in the stirrup when you kick in on the fly because it guides your stirrup right back onto the boot. Square toes just hit and spin the stirrup and are worthless in a horse boot as a result.

I’m giving this boot five stars for it’s outstanding looks, quality, and durability. If I had one wish for Ariat to add a small improvement it would be a saddle vamp. Mine tend to take wear from the stirrup right where the saddle vamp would add a little more protection, plus, I think they make the boots look great.

All-in-all, I’d recommend this boot to anyone looking to get work done and be comfortable while doing it.

I took a chance,& ordered these boots in 7 wide because another reviewer said they ran narrow. I am so glad I did! They arrived & fit my size 7medium feet just perfectly. The leather color is rich like milk chocolate.

The style, quality & workmanship are just outstanding! And they felt great on my feet, right out of the box. I could not be happier with this purchase.

Have only had time to try them on once. NOt sure if I will keep, the right one hurt my bunion!!! My feet are narrow but these in Wide are real tight. soon as my husband gets our of rehab< i will try them with thicker or thinner socks.

I love these boots! Usually it takes me a couple of months to break in new boots, but these fit right out of the box. They have a generous fit and I have to wear thick socks with them, but hey–they’re attractive and durable and socks are the least of my worries.

This is the most comfortable boot I’ve ever had! I am on my feet all day. Last week I worked three 11 hour days on my feet and these didn’t bother me at all. I have bunions on both feet and they didn’t hurt.

I am so pleased with my purchase. I know this style will be my go to work boot. I received many compliments at how nice they looked as well. Even better that they’re waterproof. I went a half size up so I can wear a good quality sock and they fit just right.

These are the best boots. They grip pretty well in the winter in wet conditions. The pull holes are the best in my opinion for work boots. They are comfy to ride in as well! I’ve had them for about a year now and the soles are wearing down but I wear them almost every day.

Besides that they are holding up well. I keep a spare pair in my closet incase my current pair have an issue or they discontinue them. That’s how much I love them.

I ride, show, and train horses 7 days a week. Which means I’m always wearing boots. Trying to find a boot that is comfortable, looks good, and can stand up to a beating all day long is hard to come by! These boots have met all those standards and then some! These have lasted me well over a year which is impressive by my standards considering I can put holes in a pair of boots in less than 6 months.

Desperately needed a pair of ropers. Couldn’t find any in my area so I called Schneiders and the Customer Service Person was friendly and very helpful. I ordered a pair of black leather Ropers. They were delivered and I absolutely love them.

They are so comfortable! And just as stylish as I remember Ropers being from my younger years. So many compliments on them. And just in time for the crazy cold weather that is never here in Austin in November! The service and shipping were excellent and fast! I had a return because I originally ordered a half size larger, based on my Ariat boots, but it was not needed.

The exchange process went smooth. Was a bit long, so I purchased a second pair outright instead of waiting for the exchange. They were kind enough to send a return postage paid label for me. All around positive experience and great boots! Can’t beat that!.

I bought this exact style of boots 10 years ago at the Horseman store in Scott, LA on a trip to Lafayette and New Orleans. I needed something with a leather sole for dancing. I wore that pair for 10 years Zydeco dancing.

They are broken in and comfortable but I knew they would not last forever. I could not find another style that worked as well for me – round toe, low heel, leather sole. I tried Shepler’s because my husband has shopped there.

I was delighted to find the Ropers on sale and since the style has worked for me I decided to stay with it. I had a hard time at first with the fit – right boot very difficult to get on. But with persistence and walking around the house in them, I now feel that they “fit”.

I am a retired teacher and now doing mostly old time rock and roll line dancing. These boots may not be the most stylish for this activity but with my “tricky” knee they give me stability. My ratings below reflect how they feel after the break-in period.

First purchase of Ariat western boots since I cannot find my size in Justin’s other than full quill ostrich, which is not a realistic purchase for everyday riding. I have a wide foot with a high instep, purchased 7C, instep is a little too snug, left boot is considerably tighter than right so I measured both boots with a seamstress tape.

left boot is 1/8″ narrower than right. Stitching on right foot is off centered by 1/4″, back in the day they would be considered “seconds”. I have never had these issues with the numerous pairs of Justin’s purchased over the last 30 years.

I will continue to wear around the house to see if the left boot stretches and becomes more comfortable. Disappointing. I was expecting better quality/workmanship for the price.

I’ve gone through my normal breaking in process and more. The boots are still pressing on a nerve or something on the top of my foot. I normally love my ariats, but these hurt. I’ve done wet socks, I’ve soaked the boots while they’re on.

I’ve been wearing them for 2 weeks now. And half way through the day my feet are killing me!.

I like to be on top of the latest trends but don’t want to spend a fortune on something trendy. Target always has the latest fashions and great dupes to replicate those hot looks for the season! These boots are no different and pair great with dresses—long, midi, short, cropped jeans, shorts, work, play, the possibilities are endless.

The quality is on par with other Target finds. Can’t wait to wear with my end of summer and fall wardrobe. Tip: I have wide feet and the wide width feet comfortably!.

These are not flexible at all! Stiff is an understatement. They have a fat ankle area that’s not flattering as well. I had to return them and order a size and a half up because the foot bed is very narrow.

Narrow fit is best for me and I have muscular calves. Rhinestones do not make up for what’s lacking. I hope they redesign these in a scrunchy style for 2022 especially at this price. I purchased all colors too.

Gorgeous. I bought the sand gold, sugar rose, and the silver Gianna Bini Katyanna over-the-knee western dress boots. They appear more expensive than priced. The rhinestones sparkle and dazzle against the shades of faux leather.

Footwear such as these should include dustbags, however. The lack of a dustbags creates unnecessary challenges when it comes to properly storing and caring for these stunning boots, especially during travel.

Love these boots and plan to wear during this year’s holiday season! Based on reviews I saw that reported the boots running small I went to a Dillards store and tried on boots that were a a size larger than normal and found they were two large.

A half size larger is perfect for me. I viewed the glitzy silver boots but in the end I purchased the black boots because I feel I have more items in my closet that will work with the black boots. These boots in any color are a show stopper and so much fun!!!.
