I bought this to make methaglin (mulled spiced honey mead) for Christmas. It has termed out better than expected. The package arrived quickly and is of good quality. If you are making mulled wine or mead I would highly recommend.

Very happy with this product. Good value: 10 packs to a box. Fresh: each sachet individually sealed. Plus a great aroma and taste. Just added some cut fruit and seeped for awhile – everyone wanted more mulled wine on Christmas Eve.

Would definitely buy again.

I liked first of all the prompt delivery. Local supermarkets didn’t have it on the shelves. It was exactly the product I first bought on a trip to Austria many years ago. My friends loved my mulled wine recipe.

I found this very sweet & light bodied which contradicts its description of semi-sweet & full-bodied. This could be a dessert wine but probably better served warm, like a traditional mulled-wine.

A wonderful mulled wine, perfect for winter. Notes of herbs and honey. Especially nice when warmed! 🙂 Fair warning, though- this is a very sweet wine with a slightly thick feel due to the honey. It’s quite lovely, but if you don’t like sweet wines it may not be for you.

I’ve been drinking and loving this wine for forty years. I still love it. It’s the only Thing I miss about not being in New York. It’s great in pancake batter and homemade ice cream

10/10 both brands are pretty much bottled from same company (you can read the bottles for proof) but they do have different tastes. I prefer this one over the other one. Either way, both are 10/10 If you ever see gerstacker gluhwein or this brand (wintertraum) get BOTH!!!! They are both bottles from the same maker mainly because most of the “bottled” Gluhwein from Germany comes from nürnburg.

I live roughly about 62 miles from this specific location but in my personal local area we have no German based drinks (some wine but even the German beer selection is no where to be found where I live) so let me tell you it was WORTH the drive.

I will be coming back to this place! They have a GREAT selection of drinks you will not find elsewhere and just a great overall selection of drinks from other countries. Keep stocking up on Gluhwein and German beers and I will be here regularly.

Was in the mood to be taken back to my nights at the Kris Kringle Christmas Market, whilst living and working in Germany some years back. This was very authentic and really good. I did add cinnamon sticks, 2 Fresh Orange slices, cloves and Star anise.

It was really nice over christmas.

We warmed on the stove adding two cups of apple cider, cinnamon stick, a few cloves and allspice along with some orange slices and a spoon of honey. Great sipping outside by a fire. Someone called it potpourri you can drink.

Almost full body. Aroma is subdued. Very concentrated flavor not unlike a more expensive Ripasso. Does not have the complexity of flavor of a Ripasso. This is a dry wine but finishes with just a hint of Sweetness.

Bought on sale for about $12. I rate it an 89 and I will be buying more.

(disclosure: I am a Total Wine employee). Reading these reviews, it appears that one either loves or hates this wine. I am one of the former. Perhaps the haters got a bad bottle, but – having tasted many wines – I find this to be 1) an excellent value, 2) great representative of Puglia wines, and 3) as good as any $15 red blends from California.

After spending three years in Germany and thinking this would just be something we’d have to live without int eh states, it’s nice to FINALLY find it! Our local stores only get a case at a time and it is hit and miss to find a bottle, lad to have found it here and be able to get a few bottles.

This red wine is perfect for a cold night. Follow the heating directions or pour into a crockpot on low. Spicy and the perfect blend of sweet and dry. Memories of bazzars and quaint cobblestone roads :).

Genuine Gluhwein! Almost like being at a German Christmas market. Just what is needed to enhance the holiday spirit.

There is nothing better on a cold winters night than a cup of steaming hot Gluhwein. Been drinking this since I had it in Germany while I was in the Army in the 70’s

This tastes like acidic water. Really disappointed.

Not the quality of a Dave Phinney wine. I would not drink this wine for my every day come home from work wine, I expected more from the wine maker. Your loyal clients deserve more.

When it comes to wine, I’ve always preferred the sweeter ones such as Riesling, Moscato, etc, but since I received this bottle as a gift, in a hand-picked case of wines, I felt that I had to at least try them, or feel guilty for the rest of my life.

Although it’s not usually recommended to chill red wines, I chose to chill it anyways and I really liked the way it tasted. Instead of the usual bitter taste along with the alkaline feeling that’s usually left in my mouth with red wines, this had a great taste.

I could taste the sweetness in it, (who knew red wines could taste sweet like that?), And it was super crisp. Drinking this wine chilled gave me visions of having a picnic on the lawn in San Francisco, while waiting for the fireworks to start.

I don’t even know if that was a real memory or if it was just a sensory response to the wine, but I would definitely drink it again, chilled!.

Nostalgia comin in hot. 🍷 Woodbridge has always and will always remind me of my Momma. I swear the wine racks were always filled with it when I was growing up. Affordable beautifully balanced, you can’t go wrong with this Cabernet Sauvignon by Robert Mondavi.

🍇 Blackberries dark cherries take over in both aroma and taste, very fruit-forward. The finish is spicy, and I could taste something familiar – but couldn’t quite put my finger on it. After reading a few reviews, I felt silly at how simple of a taste it was — toast! 🍞 Sounds silly, but TOASTY caramel is a better was of explaining it.

Wine is a very personal choice. We have gone with RM Woodbridge as our ‘jug wine’ This cab pares well with fruit and cheese. The 750ml bottle is convenient but you can save a little by going with the 1.

5L size. The cab family is huge! Taste, experiment and make a decision. And guess what? Total Wine can really help with your wine journey!.

I’m not a big wine drinker and when I was younger I used to always say I was a juice baby (lol definitely drank milk but preferred juice most of my life over milk). I ventured out and tried this wine and it is truly FANTASTIC.

I had an experience with a bitter wine and that left my stomach feeling wildly unhappy. So if you like something more so sweet and almost juice like I think you should give this a try.

Don’t usually like reds because they are just too yanic. So I tried this one because I read somewhere that it was in the semisweet category. Instead it was like drinking a bottle of Welches Sparkling Grape Juice! Going to finish the bottle, but won’t be purchasing this one ever again.

Hard to find a red that isn’t overly sweet or overly tannic (dry)!.

I give this five stars because it is a good white wine for the price, reliable, and it’s easy to find for those reasons. There is nothing significant about this Chardonnay that stands out to me. But it paid well with orange juice in place of champagne, for a nicely rounded mimosa.

We have sommeliers in the family, and surprisingly they were the ones who introduced me to the idea. Champagne can cause a lot of people headaches/migraines, and is also obviously carbonated. Mixing this wine (great price) with some orange juice, papaya juice, or my personal favorite- the Orange Peach Mango Juice from Trader Joe’s.

We have it on Christmas, and since there’s no carbonation, we can eat a lot more yummy food! I recommend this wine and give it five stars for that reason.

Basic, simple Riesling. Slight hint of citrus, a touch of minerality, tiny bit of sweetness, not overly dry. For the price, it’s comparable to other mass produced Rieslings. I think it’s better than the “two buck chuck” wine options, but if you’re looking for a authentic Riesling, you’d be better off going with a German wine along the same price point.

Chateau Ste Michelle has been on our “bucket list” of trips for 20 years. We had their Chardonnay on our first date and it is a wine that has special meaning for us. Whenever we go out for dinner we always look for Chateau Ste Michelle wines.

The winery and tours exceeded our expectations. We went on three tours and each were very different and each were great experiences – Sensory Sojourn, Private Salon Tasting and Celebrate Sparkling. If you are lucky to have Julio, Claire or Laura Lee as your guides/educators you won’t be disappointed, in fact they are each pretty amazing.

They were extremely knowledgeable, engaging, and you could tell really enjoyed what they were doing. They made wine accessible not pretentious. Would definitely go back again! We also became wine club members.

I was so thrilled when Total Wine came to my town. It is such a great place to buy my wine, beer and liquor. My brother, when he comes to town also loves the cigar section. I love that they put a description on some of there bottles of wine.

It is clean and the people that work there are terrific. I just love Lisa who has helped me for years pick out a bottle of wine. She has become a friend. Totally recommended.

Appearance: The wine is ruby in color. Nose: The wine has aromas of raspberry, strawberry, and vanilla. Palate: The wine is dry with a medium body. It has high alcohol, medium acidity, and medium tannins.

The wine has flavors of red cherry, raspberry, and a hint of sweet tobacco. The finish is medium. Delicious red blend that is extremely versatile with less dark fruit flavors and aromas than Radius Eclipse.

Definitely a go-to red blend.

My wife loves the Radius merlot and I always keep her stock up to date. I noticed the blend on sale and decided to try it. another very drinkable Radius wine and a really good value. Its not for the big evening with the aged ribeye but perfect on the patio with the neighbors.

Just a dependable everyday wine.

IšverstiShow in original languageI love anything Robert Mondavi so when I spotted this bottle of wine I knew I had to try it. My favorite red has always been Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s delicious and doesn’t have that bitter taste some reds have.

It’s a perfect red to have a glass of wine alone or paired with a nice juicy steak. Would also Go amazing with a meat cheese platter. Yum 😋 As if all of these reasons weren’t enough the price is amazing for a good red.

Definitely a nice wine to take to a dinner party or even give as gifts for the upcoming holidays.

Im my opinion, the alcohol taste wasnt as present as other drinks ive had so it made it great to drink.

Oh my gosh this is the first red wine I have ever loved. I wouldn’t recommend drinking with food it doesn’t taste right. I love the color and the taste. It’s a sweet wine so if you like sweet I highly recommend.

This is my 4th bottles so that says a lot.

The wine is very good and it’s mellow. It’s also, good with grilled salmon and steamed vegetables for dinner or just for relaxing. Myself and my wife has recommended this wine to several friends and family an they say they enjoy the wine too.

This is a great wine if Youre really wanting to relax and take the edge off. I’m not a wine connoisseur so I do know that merlot is a more strong wine and not as refreshing as sweeter cold wines. This one is for sure very dry and bitter tasting.

Not sure if I would purchase again, nothing against the brand just not my favorite type of wine.

They asked me to review this product honestly. So I think this is awesome. You should try it too if you already haven’t. It is worth the price and is great. Definitely worth the purchase. So that’s my honest opinion of this product.

I was first introduced to this wine at our local opera house. I did not have high expectations. The lady serving the drinks told me it was quite good and I should give it a try. I was pleasantly impressed! And even more impressed by the value! We buy this merlot regularly now.

My fav cheap cabernet — hard to find around here. Really glad you guys had it. I do think one bottle arrived with a tiny crack in it, but only a few drops leaked out and it tasted great anyway!

Ever since I read the Consumer’s Report on wines quite a few years ago, I’ve been a huge fan of Turning Leaf Merlot. They rated it the best Merlot. I buy it by the case, as I no longer live close to a Total Wine any more – so whenever I travel where there is one, I buy cases of the 750ml and 1.

5L. Every once in a while – about every 15 bottles or so, I get one that is a slightly vinegary, but still very good. It is excellent and very reasonably priced.

You people are very hard to please (or spoiled). For the price per bottle this wine cannot be compared to any other. Enjoy the wine and especially the price. Believe me, you will be pleasantly surprised!.

This is really delicious! I usually don’t like sweet wines but the bubbly-ness helps balance out the sweet. It’s not overpowering with sweet or bubbly- just enough of both. It has a fruity taste and is really easy to drink.

It’s 7% so it isn’t too powerful.

This is the best priced Moscato I have tasted. It is light and refreshing and not too strong. I actualluy make Mimosa with them for brunch. Give it a try, it is also way cheaper at Total Wine.

Crisp. Bubbly. Flavorful. This is now one of my faves to keep on hand. Great conversation starter and sets the tone for any occasion.

This wine is a great wine for an evening with friends. Not too dry, and pairs easily. We got a glass while stopping to listen to some jazz at a little coffee and wine bar. We loved it so much we ordered a case, and I imagine it won’t be our first.

IšverstiShow in original languageThis is a great wine. I continue to get it. We had a blind tasting and two people brought it and it got first and second place and people in the blind tasting could decided between the two.

We are talking tasting that required $35 or more in cost. It as dark color and lots of tannin with a wonderful dark fruit flavor and wonderful feel on the mouth and deep fruit flavors and good tannin on the finish.

Goes great with meats or just drinking by itself in my opinion. Really love this wine.
