20 Best Way To Hang Skirts (2023 Updated)

The plastic, metal rod and clip portions of the hangers are strong enough to hold skirts and heavier pants like jeans. The only caveat regarding these hangers is that the main hook attached to the remainder of the hanger spins too easily.

Not a big problem if you are putting hung clothes directly into the closet, but if you are temporarily hanging clothing overhead, say on the door frame of the laundry area while finishing the drying and sorting, the fact that the hooks spin so easily can make it difficult to hang on the first try, and sometimes the second and third.

I was so sick of seeing my pants wadded up on the floor after falling from loose, crappy wood hangers that I shelled out the big money for these things. They work great. The coils are strong, and the clips are coated with rubber so that they grip and don’t dent your fabric much at the same time.

4 stars only just because I think they are pricey, but yeah, I’d rather buy these than have to buy cheap hangers over and over again.

My closet was exclusively velvet slim hangers and I decided to try something new. These hangers are sturdy, sleek and space-saving! Plus they are eco-friendly. Yes, they are a bit more expensive but they will last a lifetime.

These grip so much better than plastic hangers. They also save space. When they don’t have pants hanging on them they have a tendency to get tangled up but that’s going to happen with any hangers especially the thinner they are.

I had used these on seven different pictures (relatively light. probably 2 lbs a piece) for over three years in my apartment before I moved. None ever fell off. I can only assume the bad reviews are from people who didn’t apply them properly.

Or, in the case of mlg85’s review, he clearly did not use the proper procedure for removing them (which is to pull directly down on the adhesive strip).

I just used this style to hang three large metal prints in a waiting room. I used two or three on each print and they hung easily. The prints had a recessed sawtooth hanger so these hangers were a good match.

I have had boot camp graduation pictures of our three boys on the wall for over a year. No problems with them. I had them up when we were in Florida (i. e. ; humidity), for even longer. Again, no problems.

First off, these seem to do what I need them to do, which is to grip a pair of pants tight enough so that they won’t fall to the floor in the closet. None of the wooden ones or other types of plastic ones I had were capable of performing that simple basic function.

Which is kind of surprising and puzzling. How difficult can it be to design and fashion a pants hanger that can work as. well, a pants hanger. It’s not rocket science. In function it’s not much more sophisticated than a large binder clip, and I’ve never had one of them fail.

That being said, they are not of the quality of the similar hangers I’ve had for several years, which by comparison seem to be of a better design and precision, if such a term can be ascribed to such a simple devise.

The main difference is that the older design has compressible rubber strips along each gripping surface, which makes them work better than any other pants hanger that I’ve had. Why don’t all pants hangers feature that simple, effective feature? It certainly can’t a trade secret and is so obvious a tool that it couldn’t be patented except as a design, not function, feature.

( I know because I wrote the U. S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Style Manual for Patents and Trademarks. really! Bottom line: These new hangers don’t grip as tightly as the old ones, but they seem to grip tightly enough.

Product has one fatal design feature: the black hard plastic cliplock that connects the metal hanging hook to the two metal wires that connect to and close the white garment gripper. The hard black plastic is not rigid.

It does not hold the garment grippers tightly together. It bends, and thus allows a heavier garment to slip out of the grippers. On earlier editions of this same type garment hanger, this critical part was made of rigid metal of the same strength as other metal parts on the hanger.

It would not yield, and thus did not allow a heavier garment to slip from the grippers. I suspect that the plastic connector may become more pliable and may fail over time. I am returning product.

qvc has changed a great deal, its nothing like it use to be. they have had clothing on this past week and yesterday no in the kitchen with david, all clothing again and again todayI understand he needs a day off but they would have someone fill in for him.

My velvet pant hangers keep breaking under the weight of my jeans, so I figured this time around I’d buy a solid metal muilti-pants hanger. I was going to buy this somewhere else, but found even with shipping and handling I’d save around $15 buying from Jet instead.

So I did. But I’ll tell you something, it’s not just the product that’s amazing, it’s Jet’s customer service. I don’t want to distract from the product by telling my whole story, but something happened where I ended up having to call Jet and the lady I dealt with was AMAZING and so sweet and it ended up where I saved even MORE money buying these from Jet.

Jet even makes being put on hold a pleasant experience with their smoothed voiced hold dude saying silly things. But dude, there ARE rhymes for purple, you know, such as hirple, curple, and Steve Urkel.

Bigger than I thought, but I didn’t really check measurements before purchase. Strong quality that held all 4 heavy duty cargo pants. However, I might be mindful with unhooking each bar since it may warp due to the weight over time.

I use these hangers to hang casual pants. I can fit two on a bar and removing a pair is so easy. Because the bar can be released at the side bar you can remove pants without taking the hanger down. The hangers also save space.

While these appeared to be well made, and were very easy to install, they immediately pulled out of the wood. Couldnt get them to work at all. Money wasted.

Much easier with these little nail holders than trying to hold the little nails with you fingers or pliers.

Wow! The hangers are of excellent quality for the price. I paid $14. 88 per set of 24 and purchased 6 sets for a total of 144 hangers. Of the 144 hangers, about 6-10 had splinters, noticeable gouges in the finish, or cracks in the wood.

One hanger was cracked through and I discarded it. Otherwise, these are beautiful and a great buy! The rubber coating on the pant rod is very nice and holds pants well in place. I’m only about halfway done transferring clothes from plastic hangers to these, so I can’t attest to how they will last over time, but they look like they should last.

There are no issues with mold or bad smells as some others describes. They look nice, clean, and strong. Very happy!.

The top part of these are wood and they are painted with a slippery, shiny, very dark brown lacquer. The cross bar is ribbed plastic. Not at all what I thought I was ordering: wood hangers that look like cherry wood.

Also note that the loops on the ones I got from Walmart are quite a bit smaller than my originals. Hope I can return these! Hmmmm. Tried to add a picture, but that function doesn’t work.

terrible #2 the bottom of the hanger is not wood. So make sure you know This is plastic on the hanger and it’s held on by a tiny finishing nail. So you have to Be careful not to put anything to heavy on the hanger.

Comes with two mounting screws. Arrives Bored for two screws but we added two more given our hollow doors. I did countersink the additional bore holes. Installed two units. This is a sturdy unit.

This product is quality. The hooks are really nice. Each hook is 3 prong. Trust me, a 3 prong hook is what you want. The white rack has a shiny quality white finish. Its a porcelain looking hard coat finish.

This is not a cheaply painted wood rack. Its nice. Like!.

My package had an empty bag which looked like it should have had hardware but it did not. Because of this I had to find my own and I didn’t have anything long enough. I drilled out the holes to fit the head of the screws I had into the piece then due to the fact that it’s not wood but instead some sort of press board product it ruined the finish around the drill holes.

I may just get my own piece of wood and reuse the hooks if I can’t come up with a way to hide the finish problems.

They are strong, yet nicely made and turned out. Brilliant Color too I might add. I I have bought 2 sets of them getting rid of the plastic ones I have by the dozens. Will be ordering 2 more this afternoon.

They look sturdy and high quality. The hanger is wider than what I have now. I was pleased. I desperately needed hangers and I was happy to spend some extra money to avoid plastic at once. Hopefully, they will hold up well in time.

If you have a small closet or one divided into upper and lower tiers, these hangers have solved my issues completely. Well, not exactly. If you’re a Senior with less flexibility or strength in fingers, or arthritic problems, these hangers are bit harder to use.

And I wouldn’t recommend using hangers on lower tier at all. But if you choose to tackle that problem anyway, you can sure hang more pants or skirts in less space. I really like them!.

These hangers are great for smaller closets. Hang all your shorts with these. Makes a neat row, taking up less space. And you can see all of your shorts colors with just a glance without having to dig them out of a jammed closet full of hangers.

The clips are very sturdy for hanging skirts and pants as well. I like to hang all of my pants with these instead of folding over a hanger. Less wrinkles and easier to see in closet. The clips stay strong and do not weaken over time.

These work perfectly! They aren’t too hard to attach to clothes, but are plenty strong enough for gripping. I like that they can cascade so they take up less room in my closet

I plan on keeping these hangers however I am not totally happy with the hangers. It’s difficult to hang my pants because the hook is not round enough. There is also a metal hook in the middle that should be flat.

I think it would allow you to hang a belt on that hook. I will not purchase this type of pant hangers again.

I’m actually using this to hang garden flags in a hall closet. I had them all shoved into drawers, but now I have them all neatly hanging where I can see them easily… and no wrinkles. As for the quality of the hanger, I feel like it’s great for what I’m using it for, but I think I would get something a little sturdier and better quality if used as intended- for pants and skirts.

I don’t dryer dry most of my pants and leggings. These are sturdy hangers to hold my wet items to let them air-dry without having wrinkles. Shared my larger order with my daughter.

I very much like these pant/skirt hangers. They appear to be strong and versitile. The clips have a good deal of tension to grasp the clothing item. I am hoping the hooks are intended to swival, as i am always looking for placement options.

The smaller bottom hook facilitates stacking which is essential to organizing small closet space. The wood bar adds an attractive quality and hopefully strength. Cannot tell if the steel rods go through the wood or if the ends are just inserted into each end.

I have become skeptical about hangers in general, having had “unbreakable” hangers break.

The description says you can hang pants and a Blazer on one hanger. I can’t figure out how you would do that. Is the blazer supposed to hang off the hook at the bottom? Not practical. Are you supposed to hang the blazer over the hangar itself, also not practical as it is square and would make unfortunate indents in the shoulders.

I mainly wanted these to hang pants, so that works ok for me. The fact that you can adjust the width by moving the clips from side to side is a good feature. The soft plastic covering on the ends of the clips are good.

I wouldn’t buy these again as that bottom hook really bugs me. I guess you could hang a belt on it, but I would have no use for it and I feel it is in the way.

Yay! Excited to find these again! Don’t like the kind with a thick loop at the top (I have small closets and double hangar things (using soda can tops) to fit more into the closet. Also, HATED the last kind I purchased where the curved hook of the hanger fell off every time you opened the hanger to put in or take out skirts.

(Whose idea was THAT??) These are not only beautiful and affordable, but the parts are firmly attached and thin enough to slip a pop top over. LOVE THESE. Checked around at the box stores and expensive organization stores, but all they had were the kind with two metal clips.

Was not sure these were still being made. Am delighted they are available thru Walmart. All you do to get maximum value from these is to take pants out of the dryer, hold them upside-down, and match the inside and outside vertical pant-seam on each leg.

Then match the same seams on both legs, and clamp those cuffs into the hangar. It keeps the front pant-leg creases defined.

Just what I was looking for, for hanging my slacks and shorts. Can’t find this type of hangers in stores anymore. All they have is regular hangers (usually made of plastic) and skirt hangers, the ones with the two metal clips.

I just got them so can’t comment on durability, but they seem to be well made, they lock in place securely and the felt strips on the insides of the wood are a nice touch.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY! The two arms that hang down don’t stay connected and spread out unacceptably. I can’t use it as the design is poor. Even if I could keep the two arms together, the weight of our modest ironing board causes them to spread out and separate.

At that point, the ironing board falls down. This is a waste of money and I wish I had never ordered it. Save yourself from heartache and pass on this.

This is great. Just hangs over the door and then you hang the ironing board on it. There are two little rubber clips that kept falling off when I was putting it together, but once hanging up they stay in place perfectly (so don’t worry if you have that).

The door still closes. This item is very sturdy. Great little product.

It’s great for holding my ironing board behind my cupboard door out of the way. Easy to assemble and put up. The black rubber bungs won’t stay in but since I have a steam generator and not an iron and therefore didn’t intend to put my iron in it that’s fine.

These are excellent quality pants and skirt hangers. Same quality as department stores. I couldn’t find any information the stores for weeks because of the supply chain issues and was pleased to find a large box of 15 available on Walmart’s website.

I purchased these hangers because I have a number of skirts. I previously purchased the 4-tired swing arm hangers, but when I would wear a skirt, the hanger was stuck in the closet and it was difficult to hang the skirt back up after doing laundry.

I would also have to dig through the remaining skirts to find the empty space. With these hangers, i just take the skirt I need and put the hanger in my hanger basket. When I do laundry the hanger is downstairs and I can hang the skirt up right away.

When I put the skirt away, I just attach it to the remaining skirts in the closet. So much easier!!.

I’ve owned many types of hangers for pants/skirts. They have a limited life because they break. This hanger is made with metal to avoid breakage. The clips are very strong holding the clothing securely.

The one straight rod takes up minimal space n the closet.

I have a lot of pencil skirts for work, and I’d been using regular plastic hangers to store them (folded in half and draped over the hanger rod), which took up SO much space. I bought a few of these, and my skirts now lie nice and flat, don’t get wrinkles, and are stored in 1/3 of the space I used to use.

The clips are easy to move in and out from the center if you wiggle them a bit, and never leave an impression on my clothes. I only hook two skirts together at a time because I don’t have much vertical space, but that turned out really well because I can unclip a skirt from either the left or the right side of the hanger without ever taking the hangers off the rod.

I’ll definitely continue to purchase these.
