This is a brilliant purchase. The watch itself looks slick, with the most prominent watch face. While it doesn’t look or feel bulky, the nice touch of the design detail on the watch strip makes it feel like a luxury watch, looks good with whatever outfit you choose to wear.

Very happy with watch. It has numerous health/activity/sports functions. Can also be set up for basic functions – activity, and health parameters. I set up for just heart rate, steps, sleep and a few others.

Worked well with the Zepp app, and can display the information on phone. Tiles can be customized for what you want to display for activities, sports, and health monitors. Beautiful, bright 1. 45 AMOLED display – can be seen outdoors.

has a few customizable watch faces, and more can be downloaded/purchased. There is a lot to like about this watch, but I really am surprised at battery life. I think I will get a week to 10 days – with screen at 85% brightness.

And, I have only mentioned some of the capabilities of the watch. Only negative I could mention – the silicone strap is generic, and may sweat under it. I chose to put on a mesh 22mm band – looks great.

I love the classic big round screen display, and the leather band adds elegance and value to the watch. I love the different watch face options, with convenient heart rate reading/steps/breathing rate.

Some allow you to see the entire week’s weather forecast, humidity level, etc. , and super easy to read incoming text messages and pick up calls (loud and clear) without holding a phone in your hand.

The one-button health measurements allow you to measure your heart rate, stress level, and breathing count at once. And a reminder for standing and walking every hour to keep up with healthy well-being.

One other cool feature: I started to wear this watch last Thursday. Almost a week into it, there’s still 20% battery life left. This is so cool, all the other smartwatches my friends own, they practically needed to charge them every day.

I literally spent hours researching this watch compared to the Vivoactive 4. Bought the Instinct Solar. So far I really like the fact that it’s not a touch screen. Love the battery life through the solar charging function.

Definitely reminds you of a really cool 80’s retro style watch. The only gripe I have is that, due to the solar charging element inside the watch face, the notifications window is really small. I can’t even think about being able to read a text on the screen without wearing glasses due to it’s small size.

So it basically just notifies me of an incoming message. I’m forced to view it on my phone. Other than that it’s a really nice watch. However, this “shortcoming” allowed myself to justify buying the Vivoactive 4 also, a week later.

So now I have two new Garmin watches. Both very different but I love them both. It’s nice to have a backup for differing styles and moods but If I was absolutely forced to choose one, like on the off chance my wife would happen to see this review (LOL).

I’d have to go with the Vivoactive 4. Can’t go wrong with Garmin. Been a loyalist for years.

This could be a great watch. but it crashes (blue triangle of death followed by an auto restart) too much (coming from an active user, not just a step tracker)!! In the middle of an 8 mile run, watch decided to reboot automatically at mile 3 (losing activity).

At the treadmill, rebooted at mile 1 (losing activity). These are just a few recent instances. It is random, yet to be resolved after months of owning the watch, and happens at a rate of almost once a week, always while in the middle of a fitness activity (inconveniently enough).

There are plenty of reviews online about the great features of this watch (and there are many great features), however those great features are over-shadowed by this software issue. I have recommended this item to several other friends and family member that have since bought it.

At this point, I have stopped recommending this watch. For reference, I consider myself fairly athletic, ~50 miles running / month, hundreds of miles cycling / month, and plenty of miles X-country skiing in the winter.

I am also tech literate as EE/CSci.

My last smart watch bit the dust so I decided to purchase this watch based on reviews Id seen. Its a durable watch with many good features App notifications, read text messages no reply capability, heart rate monitor, several work out settings, call rejection capability, weather.

the fit is good and the finish feels light and airy. The screen is very responsive but can go a bit crazy with the hot water in the shower yes, its waterproof. The watch is military spec so its durable despite its lack of weight which is great for working out.

However, there are some things you cannot do at least for the iOS. The one thing that annoys is that it will not turn off or snooze phone based alarms. You can set Amazfit app alarms and turns those off and on but it will not set or turn off phone alarms so you need to reach for your phone to turn them off.

The other shortcomings I already knew no watch based phone calls or audio streaming. You must rely on the phone for that unlike most smart watches. You have some controls but no audio at all. Also, you can only store 2 watch faces at a time so either this has very little to no onboard memory.

For the price, you do get a solid piece with some limitations but overall, a good value for your money. Will it be my permanent solution, the jury is still out.

My goal was a little different than most. I wanted basic movement mainly steps and sleepheart monitoring, but more important my hearings pretty bad, so I miss messages et cetera on my phone if its not close by.

The TRex does a great job of vibrating with its BT 5. 0, even when Im in another room. The display is also big enough to read messages on, although the hyphenation is terrible and no emojis. The resolution is not retina but good enough for what I need, even found a Mondaine Swiss train station watch face which I love.

Its solid enough so I dont have to worry banging it around I work in an animal shelter with lots of dogs and get knocked about a lot. Strap is fine and everything is waterproof, so no worries there. Ive had a Mi Band 5 which kept on falling off as the strap design is terrible and a Withings Steel HR Sport BT is 4.

1 and will not penetrate into another room and the dark watchface and rounded glass dome make it very hard to read both the time and the mini message display, maybe the white face is better. Im really enjoying my TRex, does all I need and last for days on end without recharging.

Here’s what Samsung do not want you to know…. I had high hopes when buying a top brand watch but found that even the best of the biggest Mobile (cell) phone makers can make mistakes. I rarely write reviews but I am so disappointed that I wanted to share this with everyone so they do not make the same mistake that I did when buying this watch.

I bought the Samsung Watch4 LTE 4G with the intention of using it to talk to people while running or just when you don’t want the bulk of carrying your mobile (Cell) phone. You have everything on your arm including google pay etc.

How wrong could I be. The problem with all this fancy tech in a little watch is inevitably the battery, it is this that is the big issue. Now I like to talk, but if you think you may get more than 60 mins talk time from your watch spread over 10 hours you won’t.

You will be lucky if the watch will last more than 12 hours without making any calls at all while connected to LTE (4G) The battery drains while connected to a mobile network is just too much for this watch to handle.

Also, this is what Samsung do not want you to know. If you live in an area with low mobile (cell) signal then your watch will overheat trying to amplify the signal. This means you will get at best 2 mins worth of conversation before the watch shuts down due to overheating.

Samsung are aware of this situation but is powerless to do anything about it and in truth does not want you to know! So, if you want a watch that’s smart and are happy to charge it up twice a day so you can use all the features then this would be OK.

If you want to use it instead of a mobile (cell) phone then look elsewhere as this watch is useless with the battery life it offers. Seriously useless! You also only find out how bad this watch is after starting a phone esim plan so you can make calls and then you are tied to a network for 12 months that you’ll never use due to how incompetent the watch is at making calls.

Also note it’s an esim. ie digital – no physical sim to add or remove. I even tried to use the watch on the charger to talk longer and even the charger could not cope with the drain on the battery and inevitably after some long telephone calls the watch died after 2 hours of use.

I honestly do not think there is anything wrong with the watch as other people have had the same experience, its obviously a design fault and an oversite by Samsung to make the watch perform longer on the very small battery that it squeezes into this watch.

I hope this review helps people to make a choice when looking at this watch as an option of a standalone mobile (cell) phone. Watch maybe, cell phone definitely not!.

This is a fine watch with useful features. In that respect it is much like my Withings, which I also bought at Best Buy. I have worn both at the same time on either arm and compared their readings and initially found that the FitBit seems to count more steps than does my Withings.

The same is true with calories burned. Hmmmm. After a couple of weeks the FitBit seemed to “learn” my movements and began to come closer to the Withings, which I have owned and used a bit longer and even the sleep measurements are closer in their measurements now.

Pulse rate varies wildly with both watches and seems dependent upon the placement of the watch on your forearm/wrist. The FitBit has a Weather feature that is nice. Via the GPS on my Motorola phone (also purchased at Best Buy,,,A trend is beginning to show, LOL!) and will keep track of at least two geographical areas.

Home and work or wherever I happen to go throughout my day. It was reading Celsius until I changed it in the Application on my phone. I am very pleased with all aspects of the FitBit except the battery life which is roughly a week.

Compared to the Withings 30 days, that is a bit weak but overall both watches have their + and – factors and are more than adequate for my needs and I think my needs are honest and reasonable: Accurate time and date, BPM pulse rate, calories burned and given my age (I am a seasoned citizen!), the ECG found on both watches.

You can also enter into the Application on your phone how much water you have drank throughout your day and there is an entry for food consumed. I have used the water feature but not the one for food.

Perhaps one day but I tend to eat the same items every day and as such find it unnecessary. The Exercise mode on the FitBit is quite useful and I primarily use the weight training feature as I have been a physical culturist (a healthy bodybuilder!) for decades now and it keeps track of my pulse, time training and steps.

The goal for my pusle is 100 BPM and I rarely make that but it could be my heart is more efficient that some folks my age? The charging cable is rather short so I will be looking for a longer one soon.

Also, the FitBit and the Withings both seen to collect sweat and dirt on the underside of their bands and the watch body, so be certain to keep them clean as the backside of the watch is where the charging contacts are and they must have a clean surface to make a good connection.

Both of these watches need that so this is not a negative, just a real world observation that should be noted! All in all, I recommend the FitBit without reservation, As I said, I also have and to be honest, also recommend the Withings.

Both are great at what they do and I expect that with time and technology advances, features will become more accurate and when they do so I will upgrade one or both watches to fit my wants and more importantly, my needs.

Trust me. I know what I’m doin’ when I’m reviewin’!.

Pros: I wanted to upgrade from my charge 4 and I’m not disappointed. The screen is a good side, the brightness is great even in sunlight and it’s got some great options for additional apps and clock faces.

Some great shortcuts to things you use regularly, the apps for the calendar and weather are very useful. It’s a great upgrade from the charge series and the ability to see messages and take calls on the sense is just a brilliant feature.

You cant reply to messages you receive on the sense but being the watch and your phone needs to be close over Bluetooth connection anyway who would need to reply from the sense? The ecg feature was a big plus I’m yet to try that out.

And Fitbit pay is handy to use in future via the sense. Overall I’m delighted with this as an alternative to picking an Apple Watch. There are so many options and apps to choose from and the link to Fitbit app makes everything so easy.

Cons: I bought protection insurance for this as I researched online and found Fitbit cannot often do much with regard to any potential problems with the sense? Repairs or replacement can be difficult, so my own 3 year insurance covers this.

I spent out on some good screen covers too as it’s much easier to scratch the screen with such a bigger surface area that the charge 4 I had. But those covers are cheap and don’t affect the responsiveness of the screen much at all.

Seems I can’t swipe left very easy on this screen, and though could be the screen protector, I just can’t seem to get the right pressure. So the side button comes to my rescue.

This is my honest, unbiased review of the Fitbit Sense smartwatch. I purchased this smartwatch in April of 2021, new from Best Buy for the amount of $269. 00 + tax. I upgraded from the Fitbit Versa 3, so the Fitbit ecosystem is familiar.

Pros: Battery life, Health/fitness metrics, Durability, and easy connection to phone. The functionality of this product works great when watch turns on. The health/fitness features are superb compared to other smartwatch products and the mobile app helps a lot too.

The battery last a good amount of time (based on use), lasting approximately 2 days. I’ve really enjoyed the using the watch when It works correctly and it is very durable. I am a residential electrician, and I wear this watch daily in the construction environment and It holds up against dust, bumps, drops, and water/liquid.

The negative aspect of this smartwatch really has made me not trust Fitbit as a brand and felt like the $269. 00 + Tax purchase was a waste of money. Cons: Often connectivity issues, poor charger design, poor capacitive touch button, and a very common bootloop problem (look up on Fitbit forms & reddit before buying) The smartwatch is great until it isn’t! About 6 months into owning the Fitbit sense, the watch got stuck in a bootloop (For those that don’t know what that is, It is when a device has a software issues and is unable to properly turn on, repeatedly going through the boot screen until the battery dies).

I contacted Fitbit, and since I was still under the 1 year warranty, they replaced the watch for free. Nice! Then about 4-6 months later, the charger broke. The charger has four small spring assisted pins that connect to four metal connectors on the bottom of the watch, magnetically.

One of the pins got stuck down, unable to connect to the watch. Other watches charge wirelessly, which prevent any mechanical problems. Wish they implement this! I purchased another charger for about $20.

00 + tax, and charged the smartwatch (as it died from the charger being broke). I tried to turn it on, and once again it was in another bootloop! Being aggravated at this point, I contacted Fitbit once again and explained everything.

I am out of the warranty period by a little over a month and ultimately, they sent me a 35% off coupon for a new device! This device isn’t even a year old considering they sent me a replacement about 6 months into ownership! So now its a paper weight, and I’ve spent over $300 in the watch, new charger and bands! Conclusion: I really enjoyed using the smartwatch when It was working as intended.

The fact that the watch has a common bootloop problem and they don’t have a solution to it is very frustrating. Only having one button (thats touch capacitive), prevents the watch for being factory wiped when the watch is unable to turn on/boot properly.

Then they expect you to go buy another watch with a 35% off coupon so It can probably happen again. I had respect for Fitbit when I had the Fitbit Versa smartwatch as it was a very reliable watch, then I upgraded and was faced with consent problems & Fitbit as a company didn’t have a real solution.

Take this review as a honest opinion of the watch and Fitbit as a company. I’m not here to bash anyone or any company but I’d look into another brand of smartwatch. (Apple, Samsung, Garmin).

I bought this watch based on a review of basic affordable watches that provided heart-rate and blood pressure measuring, with the oxygen meter as an added bonus. If that is what you are looking for then this is an excellent watch and is best compared to a standard digital watch with those health functions built in that happens to have some psuedo-smart watch capabilities as an added bonus.

The companion app is great for logging your health readings and the watch will automatically track your heartrate through the day or when you request it via the watch itself. The blood oxygen and blood pressure readings are on demand and not done automatically due to requiring you to remain still, but will populate the app’s graphs with the data resulting from your requesting measurements of those things.

It also tracks your sleep, light/heavy sleep periods based on movement, and can be an interesting way to track periods of waking or trips out of bed. The battery life is outstanding also, but this is partly due to the screen only being on when you wake the watch, or via the inbuilt motion sensor auto on function, though I disabled that since arm movement tends to trigger that even on expensive smart watches.

That said there are 2 cons. (Android specific, unsure if this is the same for iPhone) -Firstly for some reason in order to synch the data from the watch into the app(this happens automatically when you open the app if the watch is paired), it requires you to enable location on your phone during the synch but it can be disabled once again after the synch is complete.

The watch will store up to 7 days of data internally and needs to be synched to the phone during that period to offload the data into the app. -Secondly if you are buying this planning to receive a fancy smart watch.

This is best thought of as a standard generic digital watch with quality health check capacity that happens to have some smart watch features as a bonus, and not as a standalone smart watch itself. If enabled it will notify you of calls and texts but not the full suite of android notifications, though it does have the option for facebook notifications strangely enough.

It can also play/pause music and move forward/back in your music playlist but with no readout onscreen of what track is playing. Personally I rate it a 10/10 I got exactly what I needed and wear it on my offhand while my Pebble Time Steel smart watch is on my main wrist for smart watch functionality.

This is actually my second Yamay smart watch. My first lasted about 13 months. It is easy to connect and use. It is less that accurate but I tend to watch trends. I need the oxygen and blood pressure monitoring, When they are off I use the relaxation to calm a and try to get things back under control.

I tried 3 others before i decided to go back to this one. Things to consider- band is soft and comfortable. The face is slightly smaller than average – it fits my wrist better- the others were too big.

Battery life is excellent a charge lasts over two weeks. The app very fit pro connects well with Apple health.

Great watch. Looks great, feels great, and works great! The data it provides is super handy especially since I suffer from insomnia and confirms some things I thought. I am also pretty active and it’s good to know how active.

When I purchase this product, it was to be delivered by Airmail on January 30th but received it by Ground on February 2nd. It is impossible to contact the Seller even BestBuy Support could not reach him.

Their Zepp app that you must download from Google Play to make this Amazfit GTS 2e work, but when you try to download it, it says that this application is no more compatible with your Tablet and that this application cannot be optimized for your Tablet, My Tablet is a Samsung Galaxie Tab S4 with Android version10, so there is no excuse except that their engineers needs software lessons.

Now tell me, how do I make this watch work, any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated. This SmartWatch would be an excellent product if only you can have a software to make it work.

These are my absolute favorite! I have to search long and hard to find these leggings as this is a Canadian company. The material is THICK, tough, and opaque (NOT see through!!!). These are the leggings I am most comfortable wearing in public, and also my first choice for long runs.

They stay in place and fit my curves wonderfully. I am 5’ 7”, size 14 woman with some real curves and the large is my go to size. I love the high waist on these, it makes you feel completely covered.

This brand seems to make leggings for taller people, they run long. Even at ‘y height the 7/8 length is basically full length. Due to material thinks as these aren’t the best for heat, but a huge win in the fall/winter/spring in Oregon.

Please keep making these!!! And please make more Capri length in this material! Also, the pockets are a nice tough, and I know for some people those are a deal breaker.

First off, these are LONG for 7/8. Most 7/8 hit ~25″ (my ankle as I’m 5’3″). I had to roll these up. The fabric is a put thick BUT they stay up incredibly well. I ordered a large (185#, thick thighs/booty and athletic).

I do wish the top seam didn’t dig in so much – i. e. , wish the seam itself was similar to how the top of the pockets seam (sort of like folded fabric). However, I imagine that this seam helps the pants not roll.

Overall, these are great but a little warm.

I bought the Rival SCULPT legging in Bordeaux and Prosper SLEEK leggings in hype red at the same time. Both have very good quality and the fit is very similar. The main difference is the pocket design.

The sculpt has a slightly thicker fabric and I felt a little bit more compression. Both pass the squat test. I am probably between sizes s and M but settled on M. For reference I’m a sz 29-30 jeans size.

Absolutely terrible after 6+ months of use. In the beginning it was okay tracking workouts, but after 4 months or so the Under Armour APP is the worst part of this watch, and it is the main reason I got it.

I’ve been using mapmyfitness for 11 years to keep track of all of my workouts and I got this watch specifically for this purpose. I’ve been through the whole deal with support and they have no answer for me.

The best they could do is tell me to uninstall it from the watch. WHEN I CAN’T because it’s native to the watch (greyed out, no option to uninstall). Whenever I try to use the workout (MMF-UA) app, it stalls at least 10 times before it miiiiiight load all the way.

It keeps loading, whenever I get to a page I want to use, the screen turns off, and I have to start from scratch, somewhere between 10 and 50 times. This happens for up to a half hour when I give up or it starts working.

Then when it starts, there is a definite delay in everything that happens, then EEEEEVEN if you finally get the app to START and record your run, for the last month it will tell me it recorded it, give me stats, let me hit the check mark to save the workout, and after it’s all done, apparently the last months worth of workouts were NEVER RECORDED ON THE WEBSITE/APP.

SO FRUSTRATING. I’m so done with this watch. It is so slow overall that I just can’t take it anymore. It works decently well for most other things that it is supposed to, but for someone who bought a workout watch specifically for a specific workout app that comes pre-installed on the watch because he workouts out every day.

Purchased in March 2020 – worked perfectly for the first year or so. Did everything I wanted a smartwatch to do, except take an ECG like the Apple Watch. Rumor on the Internet at the time was that Samsung was within months of getting it approved (hardware was already in the watch) – but that never happened.

The 2-star rating is due to an issue with phantom touches on the face of the watch. Simply, the watch goes nuts randomly (and often) and switches screens, changes settings, and generally become inoperable.

The side buttons usually get it back to the home screen, but not always. I have conducted a decent amount of research on the Internet and there are many forums (especially the Samsung forum) where others complain of the exact same issue.

Many of those users, however, state their watch starts that issue after only a month or two — mine went the first year and a few months. Many of those users have also filed official warranty complaints with Samsung, only to be denied, with Samsung inexplicably claiming it was the user’s fault.

In one instance, Samsung denied the claim and stated the user must have gone swimming with the watch, as there was water damage. The watch, however, is advertised by Samsung to be “swim-proof. ” Since I am past the 1 year warranty, I am out of luck anyway and will be purchasing a different brand smartwatch.

Getting this watch at first made me nervous. I became paranoid trying to cover it with my hand everytime I got into a situation I think it would scratch or bang into something. As a volunteer firefighter, I would always take off my watch before responding to an incedent.

But one day as I responded to a call, I forgot to take it off. A house caught fire and our crew went in to save a few animals. We had to shove and throw furniture to reach our destination which was on the second floor.

We reached the animal room and smashed the window to let the heat escape and eventually the fire was put out. Anyway, we returned to to the fire house and I took my gear off. I noticed my watch on my wrist and freaked out.

But as I saw that it was completely intact with no scratches or smoke stains, I became less protective about it. This watch is not only water proof but heat proof. Best purchase ever!.
