I’ve used more than 3 bottles of this body wash. I tried the grapefruit before so I might get some comparisons between the two body washes from Neutrogena. Before I used it, my back is full of acne. It’s not too bad that I need to see a doctor but it did have some acne.

After using this body wash, since it has salicylic acid , I feel my back quite clean and not has rough skin anymore. But, it should be combined with other acne gel or cream to help you get rid of the acne.

The texture is thick and not easy to spread out. The grapefruit is more liquidity but I prefer the body scrub ‘s smell than the grapefruit.

I discovered this acne body scrub about two years ago. This is so nice to use after a long day at work and sweating. Even if you don’t have bad acne which I don’t on your body, this is ideal to use after sweating and everything to prevent bacteria from spreading and just to have a clean wash.

I love how it foams up unlike other scrubs that just sit on the skin. You can feel it working once it foams up and you use a back scrubber or something else. I use this for dead skin as I don’t have acne.

My skin turns over every two days. It turns over quite quickly so this is perfect for dead skin all over my body. I don’t just use it on my back. Dead skin is all over your body. I do have eczema and psoriasis and this helps so much.

I try other scrubs and things but I have to go back to this one. There is a wash too but I prefer the scrub version as it’s stronger for me.

I would like to start off by saying that the different acne clearing body wash definitely works. My shoulders neck and back often break out with blackheads, and for about a week every month big, painful, cystic acne.

Since I’ve started using this body wash, there is a marked improvement in my skins appearance and texture. However! I burned for the first time in 15 years, which may or may not have been exacerbated by this body wash; I did forget to put on sunscreen that day, so I’m not blaming or speculating on the cause of my sunburn.

What I am going to speculate on is the cause for the state of my skin after the sunburn. I was peeling for a solid 2 1/2 weeks after the sunburn, and I am still finding small patches that are just coming off.

The skin underneath the burn is very dry and leathery. I have continued using the body wash on my shoulders neck and back, but I am very careful about my sun exposure now. All in all, this is an effective acne treatment/body wash.

There is no scent, which is disappointing but not a dealbreaker for me. It also doesn’t lather, which is confusing but also not indicative of the quality of the product. To summarize, I would probably use this product if the price was right.

This body wash is incredible. I have hidradenitis suppurativa which basically means I get a mixture of blackheads and cysts in the underarm and groin area. I also have back acne, but that is mainly controlled by oral antibiotics.

Back to the body wash, this thing is amazing. I used to only use PanOxy for my afflicted areas and while it somewhat worked, it really irritated my skin which led to itching which led to scratching which led to broken skin and recurrent outbreaks.

I have been using this body wash for well over 2 months since I received it, and while I still have HS, my skin doesn’t have as many outbreaks. I still use antibiotics when needed and use PanOxy every 2 days, but this really helped soothe my skin, its not stripping, weirdly enough its moisturizing, cooling, and soothing.

I have seen a difference and I love it. I can’t recommend this enough and I will be purchasing it on my own once I finish the bottle I have, which is very big by the way for the amount that is needed.

So I was really excited to try this acne body wash because I get some mild acne on my upper back, back of shoulders and back of my upper arms. I tried this for a week or so and noticed MORE acne popping up.

At first it seemed like it was working because I noticed some gunk coming off my back, but after the first couple days it seemed like my skin got worse. Acne was popping up in the areas of my skin that normally don’t have issues but that the product was making contact with such as the front of my biceps and front shoulders.

I wish it lathered a little because I feel like I’m using a lot more of the product than I’m supposed to because it doesn’t feel like anything. It doesn’t have a perfume smell which is nice but it does smell like plastic to me which I do not enjoy.

I think it could work for certain skin and acne types but for me, who has sensitive skin with only a small acne problem, it just aggravated my skin more with regular use. I bought this after reading an article stating on of the things this soap helps with is tinea versicolor, which I suffer from on both armpits and the back of my neck. After 1 use, my armpits were lighter and smoother as was the back of my neck.

This also took care of my keratosis pilaris aka kp bumps on my arms. This soap is a miracle worker. I’m not a fan of smelling minty though thus the 4 stars. It’s budget friendly and available on Amazon which is where I bought mine.

it in fact has done nothing for both the eczema or jock itch. ive used the entire bottle and not even the slight change in the areas. not gona waste 20 dollars on this crap again.

I ONLY use this body wash. Let it soak for about 1-2 minutes. The instructions do not say this,but all my prescription stuff did & it makes sense. Otherwise you’re just washing it off before it has a chance to work.

I have to do both together for results. Took a good month of consistent use to see drastic improvements. The body wash lathers up nicely & a little goes a long way. The results I have make this worth every penny & I can’t be without it! For the longest time, I’ve been using Panoxyl for my body acne, specifically on my back and chest, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this new body wash. I have to say, though, I was pleasantly surprised! There’s a nice, light fragrance to it and I really like the microbeads.

They’re not too abrasive and they feel like they’re giving my skin a deeper clean. Plus, this product has salicylic acid so it’s able to penetrate deep into the pores, and as a result, my breakouts have lessened.

I’ve been trying to find a Proactiv replacement since they stopped making that Deep Cleansing Wash. The Deep Cleansing Face Wash was so not it. It felt like my face didn’t get clean and still felt residue-ish.

Replenix is gentle enough for me to use daily. Some mornings I use this. (On other days, when mommy and wife demands cut into me-time, I confess I just do a quick wash with water. ) But I do use it religiously every evening when I shower.

And it’s made a real difference. So glad I found this product, and I will never need to use another. Wish they had a value pack now. Maybe something with a good three-fer price. I’ve never been one to Subscribe and Save.

Too weird trying to predict how long something may last and get into an intimate relationship with a shipper where they just auto-ship stuff and charge my card. I far prefer self discipline and ordering in 2’s or 3’s and then reorder when I open the last one I have on hand.

I have sensitive, acne-prone combination skin. I found this product thinking it would work better than another cleaner I had based on some other comments. My skin was so dried out in 2 days from only using this 2-3x between then along with my normal moisturizing.

By the end of day 2, my face was becoming red, dry and very itchy. I do not recommend this product at all. UPDATE: A few days after using & stopping this product, my skin decided to freak out worse than it’s done in over two years.

Two days of using this product and it’s set me back. DO NOT BUY! Get an oil based cleanser instead because I just learned that we get acne because our skin is too dry then tries to overcompensate with the oil creating acne.

I get really bad acne break outs at random from literally anything. Usually it’s acne that stays below the skin, so it just ends up as this huge red bump that stays for days or weeks at a time and only gets worse when I try to cover it up with make up.

I looked online that benzoyl peroxide is really good for that, so I got the 10% wash hoping it would do the trick. It got rid of all of it within the first few days or me using it once every morning.

However, repeated use dries out your skin and makes it sting even worse. I recommend either getting a really nice moisturizer to compensate, or do what I do. I use curology now and use the benzoyl peroxide wash in the mornings, then my curology stuff at night because the moisturizer and night creme are really hydrating.

Since I started doing that, my skin has been virtually perfect (which isn’t something I’ve ever been able to say) and prevents break outs from starting. Hope this helps!.

My husband has very sensitive skin and has used this product for washing including his hair for several years. It is very mild, and has never made him break out. Has lots of suds. Rinses clean. We put in a plastic container with a smaller spout ( opening ).

You don’t need much. Only down side is every place we have ordered from at least one bottle comes open in the mail. The amount lost is very minor.

So far so good! I used a scrub in the past that made my legs breakout and I have been stuck with that acne for the past couple of months. Time did not make it go away, lol. I looked up amazon and found this item! I tried it for a few weeks and the acne is starting to slightly fade.

I wanted to try a bump-clearing body wash now that summer is approaching and I’ve noticed some bumps on my chest. I have used the coffee scrub by Frank Body religiously, so I thought I’d try this, too.

I am over 6 months post-breast aug. surgery and have noticed bumps here and there from using creams to prevent stretch marks, etc. and from wearing much different bras/sports bras than I used to wear (things fit much better now FINALLY) but now I have to deal with sweat in that area when I never had that issue before.

This product does wonders I use to suffer from very bad back acne and this product cleared it. I use this product one to two times a week so it doesn’t dry out my skin. I use it in the shower and when I get out I allow my body to air dry.

After air drying for a bit I apply a moisturizer on my back and I let myself air dry too. I do not put in a shirt while I let my body air dry. Until my skin soaks up the moisturizer then I will put a shirt back on.

Doing this trick has helped me so much with my back acne. Definitely recommend this product and it’s super affordable.

Hello! I started using CLn when I was at my wits end, suffering from recurrent skin infections and had to use steroids everyday to control the unbearable itching , burning and bleeding caused by atopic dermatitis (also called Ezcema).

I about ‘bleach baths’ but I was not ready to use household bleach on human skin! After some research, I found a product called Cln on an eczema support website, recommended by another parent/patient.

I read the reviews on Cln’s website and decided to give it a try since the website said that ‘Safe for ages 6 months to age 106’. I was tired and concerned of continuous usage of steroids and antibacterial ointment to keep infection and redness under control.

Cln is a very thick product and needs only 2 drops each time. I started noticing a change after 3 days of usage as per instructions on the bottle. The infection was under control with the cosmetic standard hypoallergenic Chlorine which also subsided the redness and itching.

The second time I ordered, I ordered a twin pack and now, after a year, I’ve ordered a 4 pack which saves me $4. 00 on each bottle. I can’t live without it and this has been a life changer. A shower with Cln relaxes the skin and helps in getting uninterrupted, peaceful sleep throughout the night which is very very necessary for anyone to function properly throughout the day.

ok i’m gonna start this off by saying everyone’s skin is different and there’s not a product that’s gonna work for everyone. personally my skin was bad but wasn’t anything extreme. mainly just “maskne” but i decided i’d give this a shot since no face wash ever really works for me.

usually worst case scenario the face wash simply doesn’t work. but this one made my skin at least 3x worse. i didn’t change a thing in my skin care routine. just this product. i thought “hm maybe i’ll stop using it and see if that’s what the problem is” and poof my skin started clearing up again and now it looks pretty good and all i do is wash it with a dab of shampoo.

I received this complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. I don’t really get body acne, but the occasional pimple on the back. It definitely makes your body feel extra clean, but can be a bit over drying at times, so I suggest something like a thick Fragrance-Free body cream to use after.

It does clear up any blemish fairly quickly. It smells like a nice clean shampoo, so I actually like the smell. not harsh and chemically. If you suffer from body acne. definitely give this a try.

I purchased this product based on its claims and it does deliver! However, I cannot get over the scent. I usually like tea tree scented products. This smells like fresh rubber as if I’m in a tire store/shop.

Personally, I really like The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Body Wash! For the past few years, I’ve been periodically using it on my back and chest whenever I get breakouts there. I know, I know, no one likes talking about body acne, because “eww!”, right? But it happens to most people at one time or another, and I find this is a great product for treating it! It clears up my occasional body acne quite quickly and effectively.

However, while I adore this product, there are a couple things about it that might turn some people off, so read on! 1) It DOES smell like tea tree. Have you ever smelled tea tree essential oil, or anything containing it? In case you haven’t, I’ll try to describe it: tea tree oil has an astringent, herbal, botanical, almost-woodsy sort of fragrance.

It’s a love-it-or-hate-it kind of scent. Personally, I love it, but it’s not for everyone, so if you’re not familiar with it, you may want to try and catch a whiff of this body wash or some tea tree essential oil before you buy this.

Note that (according to the “Ulta Staff Expert” in the QA on the product page at Ulta) the smell of this body wash comes from the actual Tea Tree Oil and Lemon Tea Tree Oil contained in the product–it has no added fragrance of any kind.

So the scent of this body wash is fainter (though definitely still quite prevalent) than the pure essential oils, since the oils in this body wash are diluted by the other ingredients in it (I’ve included a complete ingredient list at the end of this review).

2) It can be drying. That’s great for the parts of your body that have acne, but not so great for more delicate areas or places already prone to dryness. That’s why I only use this product when I’m having a breakout, and only on whatever area of my body where the acne is.

On the rest of my body, I’ll use a non-drying body wash with either no scent or with a light fragrance that complements the tea tree, like Fresh’s Brown Sugar Bath and Shower Gel with Shea Butter (it has the citrusy, “fresh” smell that the Fresh brand is known for, and I really like it paired with the tea tree scent, though neither fragrance lingers long on the skin after rinsing).

You could, of course, use the Body Shop Tea Tree Body Wash all-over your body, and then just moisturize any areas of dry skin when you get out of the shower! Many people also successfully use this product to prevent body acne, but my breakouts are infrequent enough that I prefer to only use it when I’m having a problem, since I find it a bit drying.

Note: The oils contained in this product, that I’m talking about here–Essential Oils–are NOT oily. They are powerful plant extracts derived from the botanical (usually via steam distillation), and are therefore very concentrated.

They’re much more powerful than the plants they originally came from, and should be handled with care in their undiluted form. Since this is a body wash, the essential oils in it are thoroughly diluted, and tea tree essential oil (on its own or in skin care products) is widely considered an excellent treatment for acne and blemish-prone skin.

” Bottom line: The Body Shop Tea Tree Body Wash is a great option for people with mild body acne. It works great for my occasional breakouts, and I love the scent! Just remember a few things: People’s experience with skin care products can vary widely, so my experience with this product might be different from yours.

This product is definitely too harsh for facial acne, but The Body Shop also makes a facial cleanser in their Tea Tree line, which might be a good option for you if you have acne on your face, too. If your body acne is painful, frequent, and/or severe, you should seek advice from a healthcare professional before choosing a product to treat it!.

I have always had a bad acne problem, focused on my shoulders and back (specially during winter), and for this reason I tried so many products to eliminate it. But nothing worked drastically, or it needed a lot of steps of therapies, which I usually was bored to follow.

Until I used this product, which worked liked a miracle. In a very short time it purified the skin, cleared the blemishes, and prevented the appearance of new ones! I use 3-4 times weekly, alternately with my regular shower cream, and works to maintain the healthy clear tone of the skin.

Once I stopped to use for a period, the blemishes came back, so I use it now without stop. The scent is little bit strong, but overall gives a freshness. Extra tip: For the reason that dries a little the skin area for the purpose to clear the blemish, either use with a moisturiser after each use, or use 3-4 times for each 7 shower times.

I’ve had severe bacne since I was 14 years old and have tried EVERYTHING you can think of to get rid of it with no luck and at 22 I finally found it. I would literally sob every summer because I couldn’t wear anything, I covered up at the beach, wouldn’t go swimming and always bought clothes that covered my entire back/shoulders.

I couldn’t wait for fall and winter so I could cover up. As a last ditch effort, my mom ordered this for me to try and in a matter of days you could visibly see a HUGE difference! Since I’ve tried so many products in the past I didn’t get my hopes up because I thought my bacne was “going away” with the other products but then I’d break out even worse, but here I am 2 months later completely cleared up.

You have to stay consistent with it but it’s so worth it!!.

I bought this item for my bacne and had a horrible reaction to it. It’s unfortunate the policy is no return or refunds on products if opened. They should be more accomodating to this as a person does not know how they will react with the product.

I purchase other products from other dermatologist lines and returns and refunds are allowed regardless if opened or not. Unfortunately won’t be purchasing anymore products from here and will return all my unopened and unused ones.

**Side note: Just here to clarify that sulfate is completely different from sulfonate. It’s also important to ask your dermatologist or make your own thorough research if you’re worried about hypersensitivities or allergies.

** So I’ve used this product before when the body wash contained salicylic acid instead of BP. It worked so well with the body spray it completely cleared my bacne! This is my second time buying this as my bacne returned from working out and constantly irritated by my own hair.

I noticed they reduced the amount on both products. I will have to wait and see if the formula change is as effective for me as my bacne is pretty stubborn.

I can’t live without this face wash. I can’t live without Face Reality products. This is my true honest review. I really wish the best for Face Reality so they can make their products forever!! I’ve acne problems my entire life and (No fake, no exaggeration!!) I have clear skin.

I get a few pimples during my cycle but that’s it. This wash and all other Face Reality products controls my acne and skin issues so I have nothing to worry about my skin anymore. I highly recommend it!!.

This is s a great cleanser for acne prone/oily skin. It really makes my face feel clean and I noticed a huge difference when I started using it. It can be a little drying so make sure to use a good moisturizer but it makes such a huge difference! My skin has gotten completely clear and I rarely ever get any breakouts using this.

I’ve been using this face wash for years for my acne. It’s a nice smooth formula and does not irritate or dry out my skin. For the most part it helps keep my acne under control. I recommend using this face wash along with other face reality products if you have acne prone skin for the best results.
