20 Best Wand For Long Hair (2023 Updated)

I have long, fine hair. I used this wand and the curls last for days. I used a little texture spray and heat protectant. It heats up fast with options for the temperature you want. I’ve been using it for a month with no issues.

I read all the reviews and some of them scared me off but I wish I would’ve made this purchase sooner. It hasn’t damaged or fried my hair. Sometimes if I have too much product in my hair I’ll have to wipe the wand off after each curl but that’s on me really.

This iron blew me away. I can’t believe I waited so long to get it. I keep my hair anywhere from middle of my chest to rib cage length, so I thought the longer barrel would be useful. When I tell you my curls/waves have NEVER looked better, I mean it!! I prefer wavier curls because I like to keep my length, but I never was able to master the “twist and drop” technique that’s really popular right now.

I decided to purchase this iron because I saw lots of hair dressers on TikTok using it. This iron achieves that “twist and drop” look without any effort on my part. I curl my hair like usual! Every curl is smooth and stays for days–and I have pin straight, hard to keep a curl, type hair.

If this broke tomorrow, I would place an order immediately. I don’t think it compares to any other hot tool out there.

This is an AWESOME Curling Wand. It’s taking a little getting used to the VERY LONG barrel and the results are worth it. Nice smooth Ceramic Tourmaline contributes to the overall smooth affect of styling.

I LOVE this tool so much. I recently cut my hair very short to give it a fresh start. I feel so comfortable using this temperature-controlled tool to help me style my hair for the day. I use the smallest barrel to make my hair less frizzy and more “put together”! It has a guide to help with the temperature control, but I did end up using the highest heat setting.

I do have mixed hair so it makes sense I would have to diverge from their recommendation. I appreciate that this tool helped my hair be more definited AND made it shiny. I’m still navigating this new haircut, but my confidence has gone up because this! Because of its versitality, I can’t wait to use it on my sister’s straight hair! I already know it will over-preform.

I highly recommend this styling tool for a person or household with multiple needs/uses.

Lets start with the design. I love the details on the handle and love the colors they chose. as it brings a little spring time in to my hair collection. Also this is the first time for me using a tool like this.

where i am able to not worry about clipping my hair with a alligator type clamp. The color matching buttons makes it easy to make sure you use the recommended temp and with the power button easy to change the temp if needed.

Also the capability to inner change the size is to cool. it took me a few times to get the hang of using these tools but that only because im use to the clamp style. I do have heavy hair with thickness to it.

so i was amazingly shocked how long my curls lasted. as i have long down pasted the middle of my back and again it thick hair. Now it does NOT take long for the wand to warm up. maybe a full minute to be at its full temp.

so this will be only tool for now on for my hair to be curled.

Works great! Have used it multiple times and have zero complaints. For those leaving low ratings due to it not having a clamp, this clearly states that it is a wand. Wands do not have clamps. It is not a curling iron.

For those looking for a wand, this one works perfectly and is priced right. I have medium to long hair and it’s not super thick. This makes amazing curls and waves depending on how much hair you put on the wand at a time, how long you leave it on, and how long you catch and hold the curl in the palm of your hand after taking it off the wand.

I’ve found the catching and holding the curl until it cools trick is the key to long lasting curls/waves. There are some great videos to watch if you are just learning how to use a wand.

I’ve been looking to achieve Hollywood , voluminous, big curls/ waves with little effort. I bought hot rollers, but those did not last by the time I was ready to leave my house. Once I saw that this wand was in stock at my nearest ulta, I immediately grabbed so I can see if this would be better.

Showed her how to use it on my own hair first. Let me just say, Wow! Perfect curl. I actually liked it so much better than my current old curling iron that I went out and bought another one for myself! Some extra detail: My hair is fine in texture but I have a lot of hair.

The Farrah takes a lot of practice. I highly recommend watching the video tutorials after reading the instructions. After a couple of tries, it took me about 30 mins to curl my hair using the Farrah.

It usually takes me around 20 mins to curl my hair with a regular curling iron. I’m guessing that’s because I need to use the Farrah some more. My natural hair is thick and frizzy. I like relaxed curls or beach waves when I curl my hair.

My only critique would be how close the power button is to the two turn buttons. I accidentally pushed the power button (turning the temp up) instead of pushing the turn button several times when I was learning to use the Farrah.

After a little practice, the Farrah was easy to use and a fun new way to curl my hair. I really like the end result and my curls lasted all day.

This product offers the versatility that I wanted to pear down on my quickly growing collection of hair tools. The curling iron heats up quickly, and the temperature settings go up in small intervals instead of large ones. The carrying case that they give you to store all of the curling irons helps protect them and keep them all in one place.

I liked that you were also provided with a glove to use. You can still feel the heat through the glove, but I was able to safely hold my hair against the curling iron while wearing it. I’ve never used a glove like that before, but it’s definitely nice having that bit of protection while using the curling irons.

Since I’m new to it, I’m always afraid that I’m going to burn myself. It takes a little bit of effort to change the curling iron sizes, but once you figure out how to do change them it isn’t too bad.

The Luxy Signature Hair Curler is my new go-to curling iron! It heats up fast and curls my hair even faster! It also has a longer than normal barrel so it makes curling my long hair (past middle of my back) much easier.
