10 Best Uv Lamp For Resin (2023 Updated)

I have only had this filter in for about 3 weeks. My pond this spring was like pea soup and is now just starting to clear up. I find right now I have to back flush every day and surprised at the amount of dirty water that is flushed out, I think before long my water will be clear enough as I can finally see some of my fish.

I do find it a bit difficult to screw the back flush cap on after the flush as it spurts water out all over and is hard to seat it fast enough to control this. I figure after a season or two I will be more adept at that.

I am not sure how difficult it will be to change the bulb as I haven’t had to do that yet. I will say it is much easier to use than my other one that had three filters that needed to be cleaned too often and was more difficult.

I like the back flush idea but will know more after this year.

OK. I was ready to give up and just accept a GREEN pond. This was my last attempt at fixing our murky water problem. We tried pump pre-filters, draining and refilling, barley pellets, and algae-fixing chemicals to no avail.

We still had green water! We installed the TetraPond 1500 UV filter and recommended TetraPond DHP 3600 Debris Handling Pump in our 1200 gallon pond as a last resort. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! After only one week, the water was noticeably clearer.

After two weeks, I can actually see my fish and the bottom of my two foot deep pond. I’m sure the water clarity will continue to improve as the biological filter increases it’s effectiveness. This thing really works! I back-flushed it for the first time today.

Green at first, but then ran clear. Super easy! Practically NO MAINTENANCE! Highly recommended. Biggest hassle was finding the right hose and clamps to connect pump, filter, and waterfall. I ended up using electrical tape, screws, and hose clamps to attach hose to filter and pump.

You DON’T want the hose to come undone and drain your pond! High quality construction!.

This light does a very poor job. I used it on a vehicle with TP dye in the A/C. It wouldnt show the leak. I have other leak detection lights. I used my Anker Bolder and the dye showed up brightly. I bought this light mainly for oil leaks, which takes a different dye, but is isnt showing the leak brightly and is hard to determine leak source.

Same as the previous review, this was my first time using resin. It is just described, it takes minutes to cure. While I don’t have a nail lamp or a uv torch light, I left it out in the sun. I had experimented this resin with several of my older acrylic charms, it took less than 10 mins to cure as well not showing any ‘wet spots nor was there any chemical reaction or peel off what’s so ever.

So if you’re also a collecter of acrylic charms like me and would like to protect the sticker side as well as the acrylic layer itself, I would recommend this product.

First time using this brand. So far so good. Resin is nice and clear with zero stickiness after curing. Price and shipping is better than all the other shops. I did a comparison on all the shops. Will buy again when needed.

Judging by the reviews, i knew this would be a risk but it seems to be the only UVA/UVB bulb on this site. Welp, i plugged it in and it worked fine. I unplugged it and tried it in a different outlet and it never turned back on.

The lamp im using is https://www. chewy. com/flukers-ceramic-clamp-lamp-85-in/dp/129135 which recommends bulbs under 150watt, but no other recommendation. So, idk if this is an issue on my end by not picking the right equipment but i followed all instructions provided and still ended up wasting $40.

These used to be my go to bulbs for their effectiveness and longevity; however, as of this year not a single bulb has lasted more than 3 months. When I buy bulbs I purchase many for my 7 monitor lizards and always ensure to have backups on hand- it gets extremely expensive and I usually save up for a while to be able to afford an order, but as of this morning every single one has faltered months before expected.

They don’t appear to have warranty paperwork with them either anymore. I don’t know why the quality of this product has so drastically declined, but because of this I will not be purchasing this bulb, or any products for that matter, from this company again.

Hopefully exo Terra doesn’t screw over their customers like this.

I got this bulb for my leopard gecko, and while it does work well for him when it’s on it takes a lot of hassle every morning to get it on. I have a double dome for a day and night bulb and switch between them everyday.

The night bulb I have works fine, hit a switch and it’s on/off. For this bulb, I have to unscrew it then screw it back in just right for it to switch on and if I switch it off for any reason throughout the day I have to do the same thing every time for it to come back on.

I know it isn’t the dome because I’ve tried other bulbs in the exact same spot and they work perfectly fine. I want to give this another try because it’s one of the few bulbs that really work well for him when I can get it on, so hopefully the next time I buy this bulb I won’t have to go through this annoying routine each time.

I purchased a used Pondmaster UV Clarifier model 02920, which only needed a bulb. I pickup this bulb from Pondliner via Home Essentials Direct. I was quite skeptical as to whether this would actually work.

Due to the location of my pond, it receives direct sunlight, which aids in algae plooms throughout the summer. Too my surprise within 5 days, my pond is crystal clear. Just to note, the UV Clarifier needs a small homemade bio-filter to process the water that has passed through the UV Clarifier.

This bulb’s life is supposed to last 9000 hrs. It has burnt out, with less than 2 months use. I’m very disappointed.

Had to really research to find a replacement bowl better reasonable price. Still expensive but it does work.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I took a chance on this bulb because it had quite a few positive reviews in between the few that said they don’t last. But unfortunately it stopped working after like 5 minutes?? I even took it out and tried it in a different dome I had, and both were suited for the wattage (I only bought the 80 watt anyway).

This bulb is not worth the price since it sounds like half the bulbs they send out are just defective.

This light is genius ! It doubles as a regular light bulb and an UV light. A few flips of the light switch (off/on) alternates between the two… I am OBSESSED with this concept and the overall light. The quality is wonderful and the light is bright without being harmful.

Will definitely order more, today. I have been searching everywhere for the proper uv bulb. I have Previously ordered from another store and ended up with uv bulbs that look NOTHING like a bulb and then were broken… so the disappointment of the wasted money spent and the return processes from trying to find something safe for my family… I am so happy I found these… skeptic at first … I find these Worth the investment.

They work wonderful! I am always purchasing ‘daylight’ hue light bulbs, but then I needed an UV. With the increase prices of our common use home necessities, to purchase bulbs for many uses adds up quickly.

However, these ?!! PHENOMENAL- it functions as a ‘bright’ daylight hue – and a UV. Dual function in the lighting. I would highly recommend these. why? Because I have tried almost everything and these are truly wonderful… Do not listen to the negative reviews.

I really like the bulb and its seems like they all sell and its hard to get one in stock. I like the idea of having the bulb do the normal light and UV disinfection. I am actually using the bulb in my aquarium and it has worked great all the floating algae is gone there had been bacteria and viruses causing my fish harm and this killed all of them.

I was very happy with the product but it confused me when i first turned it on and it was white. but then i turn it of and on again and it turned blue. There was no instructions in the outside regarding that double click but i got there by luck.

At 405 nm this light can not kill virus’s in any timely manor. UV light has a wavelength between 100 & 400 nm. 354 nm is UVC and dangerous to people close to the light. 222 nm in FAR UV it will kill virus’s and not harm humans.

Scientists or working on this spectrum for commercial and residential buildings. Not available at this time.

Great Light, Great Results with Lower nm. This is the second light that I purchased from this company. I use it mainly for parties, photoshoots and Halloween decorations, maybe used 3-4 times per year at most.

That being said, due to little use I didn’t want to invest almost 2x the money. I’ve used various lights such as fluorescent over the years but I could never figure out why I wasn’t getting results. There was always purple hue on the walls, ceiling and subject and it was never always a little subpar to expectations.

Now I know why. After FINALLY doing research, I decided to pay a little extra and go with the 50W 365nm light vs the 10W 395nm that I purchased before. Despite a 40W difference, 395nm was brighter, painting purple.

365nm had very little wastage and better results on on the “glowing” items. People didn’t look like Smurf rejects and the clothing was glowing bright!Highly recommend, and I’m thinking of buying another to get a fuller effect!.

Good for small to medium area black-lighting. If you want this for use as a small to medium area black-light effect is adequate. I tried it for developing photo-emulsion. The output is not quite enough to achieve good results developing emulsion.

You need at least 30 watts of output. I purchased a 60 watt unit which was 2. 5 times larger in size. This unit has 10 UV LED’s and the 60 watt unit has 132. One thing this unit has that the 60 watt unit did not is an on/off switch.

If you only need a UV light for lighting effect for a medium to small area this item is a very good buy and the best price I found for a unit this size.

Well worth the money. I was very impressed with the materials and construction of the lights considering. They were used for Halloween and were in use for eight hours a day for 20 days or so. I only had one issue.

Moisture leaked in around the front lens and caused one light to stop functioning. Once I dried the light out it worked fine again. I sealed around the lens with silicone and had no further issues. If you need an outdoor black light for Halloween decorations or anything else I would highly recommend this light, just make sure you seal up around the lens.
