20 Best Used Women’S Golf Clubs (2023 Updated)

I purchased the Cobra Speedzone Extreme driver 2 years ago. without being fitted or even swinging the club. I purchased purely on the basis of the many reviews that heaped praise on the club as “long” and “forgiving”.

I can hear all of the golfers out there yelling “dumbas*”. lol! For some reason, I was literally unable to hit the club. It had an annoying “hollow” sound, and looked like a grossly oversized “Flintstones” club at address.

Plan B was to begin hitting 3 Wood off the tee. which worked well. Earlier this season, I purchased a Mavrik Sub Zero 13. 5 3 wood with a stiff shaft (from Callaway preowned). a club that as a moderate swing speed/14 handicap.

should not have been great match. For some reason. I consistently crushed that club and loved the sound and feel. Lke most golfers that are never content, I was still missing the extra 20+ yards that a driver should have provided me on those long par 4’s.

Since I was doing well with the Mavrik 3 wood. a step up to the Mavrik driver seemed like a logical move. From the very first first shot with this club. It was an amazing reunion with the joys of smashing a driver.

I don’t understand how or why I couldn’t hit the Cobra. I’m sure that it was more about my swing idiosyncrasies than the club. I’m just happy that I can consistently hit the Mavrik standard driver. and have been able to add substantial yards off the tee? Absolutely a great club, crisp thwack sound at impact, large forefiving face.

I could not be more satisfied. I was considering waiting for the Rogue St drivers to become more available (I gamed the Rogue ST irons this season and like them) but, given the relatively. small performance differences and significant pricing benefits of the Mavrik.

It was a no brainer to go with the Mavrik driver. I would highly recommend this driver!.

Being a little older now I was looking for a driver with R flex shaft to replace my 909-D2 stiff shafted driver. I read reviews on some of the items on sale. When I saw the review of the shaft in the Mavrik it sounded like a good fit.

I purchased the club – 10. 5 degrees, and left it set at standard loft, etc. The club looks great at address. I have hit stiff shafts in the past because R flex shafts felt too whippy, and the club face too hard to control.

This club has none of that for me. I hit 5 or 6 drives at the range before teeing off the day I bought it, and was amazed at how light it feels, but never feels like the club head is out of sync. During the round I hit drives longer than the 909-D2 with much less effort, which was one thing I hoped for at my age.

The biggest issue I had was remembering to slow down so I could keep a consistent swing path through the shot. I could tell where the ball was going to go easily by the way it felt off the club. Love the sound on flush hits, but mostly it feels like a club I can make a great drive with and not have to muscle it through the swing.

Exactly what I was looking for.

After reading online reviews- both professional and amateur equipment reviews- and watching countless YouTube videos reviewing the Mavrik (TXG does some fo the best reviews), I was unsure of whether the Mavrik would be an upgrade for me over my Rogue.

Some of the equipment reviews demonstrated that the Rogue was such a good driver that it was still producing ball speeds and launch windows on par with the latest equipment. In fact, a couple reviews showed that Rogue was just as long as Mavrik.

But looking closer at those reviews, those were scratch players with extremely consistent swings and strike locations. But as a 10-13 handicap, I probably hit the center of the face 1-2 a round and am off center with the other 10 drives in a round.

So I wondered whether the Mavrik might benefit me more than a scratch player who always hits center of the face. After receiving the club and doing a Trackman simulator session, here’s what I learned: – The sound is a major upgrade over the Rogue.

I didn’t mind the sound of the Rogue, but I love the sound of the Mavrik. It’s awesome! – I really like the Mavrik head shape. While it still a 460 CC driver, it’s not as long face to back as the Rogue and looks more compact at address.

Not so much smaller as to give less confidence at address. For me, it actually makes me feel like it’s easier to square up the face and I feel more confident going harder at the ball. – Mavrik is more forgiving- I don’t know the MOI stats or whatever other metrics can be used to measure forgiveness, but in my 50 shot Trackman session, while the longest drive I hit that day was with the Rogue, the next 8-10 were all with the Mavrik.

For me, it definitely appeared to be more consistent in length on off center strikes and less punishing for a shot dispersion perspective with a slightly missed strike. I tend to mess heel side low and Mavrik seemed to allow me to get away with it more.

Didn’t check face for impact on the swings so can’t be sure that’s where I was missing, but that’s generally where I miss. One thing I would caution is to be careful with shaft selection. I played the stock/ free upgrade of the Evenflow Blue in the Rogue in the 65 gram stiff flex model.

I figured the Evenflow Riptide in the Mavrik would feel similar and thought I could pick up some ball speed going with the lighter 50 gram model still in stiff flex. But the feel was totally different.

The Riptide felt WAY whippier and didn’t feel at all like the Blue. Felt much softer in flex despite it being Stiff and more than the weight difference I think would make. After some research, I learned that the Riptide was much higher in torque and I wonder if that may be what is leading to the difference in feel.

Think the Riptide was definitely bigger shot dispersion and I found I had myself being careful about how smooth my swing and transition were with the Riptide- something that I never worried about with the Blue.

Ultimately I decided to test some different shafts and went with the Tensei AV in Blue 65 gram stiff and love it in the Mavrik. Overall, while I’ve only gotten the Mavrik on the course a few rounds (most of my time with the club was been with a Trackman simulator), it is performing quite a bit better for me than the Rogue and totally worth the cost to upgrade.

Would highly recommend for anyone considering the same.

Last summer, after extensive research I bought a Callaway Mavrik 3-wood. Right out of the box, the club improved my game so much that I ended up buying a Mavrik driver by the end of the season, too. This summer, after flipping and flopping over the decision to start using a hybrid (I just like my irons too much) a friend and scratch golfer insisted a hybrid would change my game immensely, so again I went with Callaway because I can’t deny the great feel and sound of the clubs when I hit the ball sweet.

I could not be more impressed with this club. It’s a 3 hybrid. I use it most often on the second shot on long holes instead of a 3 or 4 iron. The accuracy and distance is hard to beat with an iron simply because it’s so easy to hit a great shot with this club.

In my experience, the trajectory is much lower than a 3 or 5 wood, which makes it a good choice for longer rolls or windy conditions or even keeping it under overhanging branches. Callaway is really on to something with the woods and hybrids right now and I am so happy to have found these clubs.

They have taken many strokes off my game and made time on the course even more enjoyable – I didn’t think that was even possible.

Recently cracked the face on my gamer, Adams black super hybrid and was looking for a similar more rounded shaped hybrid which is rare. I tried out the Apex, Apex Pro, Sim2, Sim2 Max, G425, Tour Edge C721, and TSi2 hybrids.

Out of the bunch, I liked the G425 and the regular Apex because they are extremely forgiving but was not a fan of their iron-like looks. I was close to purchasing a regular Apex but randomly came across this club and was convinced by all the great reviews.

They weren’t lying! The biggest reason to buy this club is that it sits flat and a touch open making it much harder to hook than any other hybrid I have tried. Even adjustable hybrids often have more weight in the heel or a lot of offset making them hook monsters.

Also for a “pro” hybrid this club is extremely forgiving and has a large enough sweet spot for all handicaps. This club launches high and straight, with a true flight (no ballooning) and has a great muted sound/feel.

The stock KBS shaft is also perfect for this club. It feels very stable and is so well balanced that is it hard to overswing. It should be noted that the shaft lengths are a bit shorter compared to other models out there so you may see a slight decrease in distance compared to your current hybrid.

The Mavrik Pro 3 hybrid is 40″ compared to the Sim2 Max 3 hybrid which is 40. 75″. I prefer the shorter shaft because it fits in better with my iron distances and is a bit easier to control but some people may prefer more distance oriented hybrids.

The Mavrik Pro is like a combination of the regular Apex and the Apex UW but half the price since it is a year older. I purchased my mine with the current 25% discount for $115 in “like-new” condition which is an absolute steal for the performance.

Not sure how this club flew under the radar but I guarantee, you will not be disappointed!.

I was a good iron-swinger but not a wood-hybrid type swinger. So up until 2020 has well passed, I sticked to 3 iron and once in a while 2 iron. Then switched to Xforged 18 which came as 4-pw, as well as age compelled me to look for hybrid.

Out of extensive searches this looked most beautiful – reminds me of very old days Taylormade orignal Rescue for somehow with color thems and aesthetics. 3 hybrid 20 deg, with ProjectX HZRDUS black Handcrafted 85 6.

0, I found my 10-year strong long par-3/ strong par-5 two on option. It really helped me erase little necessity I have possibly once-in a year of 5 wood option. It simply does not have mishits, and the felt really really good.

It is beyond my words. 3 iron (X forged’13) felt fantastic but it required me to really focus on the swings and some mishits punished my elbow, yet Mavrik Pro Hybrid never disappointed me. I bought from Callaway Preowned as ‘very good’ – They must have sold ‘outlet’/’like new’ by mistake with reduced price!!! Highly recommend!.

(mishit off the heel that still went fairly straight and around 200 yds just off the left edge of the fairway). Prelim statement: Hit the Rogue Irons back in 2016 when I was iron shopping and loved the feel and playability of the irons.

When I heard the Mavrik was the revisitation of the Rogue series I had to try it. Luckily, they had a demo Sub Zero at my local club and I had used it previously before purchasing. After the first round of playing with the demo club I knew I had to get it for my bag.

I purchased a “Like New” condition Sub Zero Driver and 3W from here and upon receiving the clubs they had no imperfections on the club at all. Overall Review: Definitely helped my game off the tee even after the first round played with the Driver.

I hit the ball farther, and straighter (the main reason I “took the plunge”) If you currently own a older driver that is difficult to control off the tee I suggest Taking the Plunge yourself and purchasing this club for your bag.

Haven’t used it enough to see if it will lower my scores any, but with the performance of the first round in the bag and leaving me with yardages into Par 5’s that I had never experienced before with my old Driver, this is certainly going to help me shoot lower scores.

This was my first purchased driver as my previous driver was gifted to me as a set packaged with the 904F 3W, and I have no regrets and feel I made the perfect choice for my game.

Recommended by my pro, and he was right. I’m a beginner golfer, and have been using a $250 SET of clubs to get started. My technique has gotten better, so I was ready to upgrade my clubs. I play on an executive course, so I decided to upgrade my irons first.

I asked my inspector, who I’ve been taking lessons with for about three months, and his recommendation was graphite, and his light as you can get. And he loves Callaway. If you’re ready to upgrade your clubs, you will really appreciate these from Callaway.

I can notice immediately the better balanced feel of the club when I swing it, and I love how light it is, and I love that the heads are slightly bigger than my starter set. I ordered the full set, assuming I’m going to grow into all of the clubs.

Right now I only know how to use four of them. I ordered the set with the approach wedge by accident. So I went back and ordered the sand wedge separately. If you’re a newer golfer I would skip the approach wedge for now.

It’s a finery that you won’t understand yet like me. Finally, I recommend buying direct from Callaway, not Amazon. The price is the same, and buying from Callaway you know you are getting the genuine product.

I’ve gotten several things from Amazon lately that seem like knock offs. Don’t do that with your clubs.

I needed to get a set of more forgiving clubs that were not as jarring to hit than my prior set of steel Ping g-25’s. I have been recovering from cancer and have not been able to play for well over a year.

I have played with four rounds with the irons A-5 irons graphite shafts and they are amazing! Great feet, picked up about 5-10 yards per club miss hits do NOT hurt you they still go straight. So impressed with the irons I picked up the Stealth HD Driver, 3,5, and 7 woods and they are nothing short of amazing.

Still working on the distances coupled with playing out of the fairway way more than I ever have (lol). I researched several other game improvement irons and these came out on top off all of them forgiveness, distance and they to straight.

Coming from a single digit index player it’s great to be out golfing again. Don’t get me wrong I’m shooting in the high 80’s to mid 90’s but that’s just lack of play and fighting cancer but doing it with a huge smile on my face to be able to play again with clubs that give me the confidence and tech to get out and enjoy the game.

These irons are fantastic. So many great things about them. Very forgiving and great action. Great swings are fantastic bullets. Good swings are rewarded with good results. Poor swings/ contact leave playable outcomes.

You really have to put a poor swing on them to get a poor outcome. Game improvement performance with a sleek look and look closer to player distance irons than most GI sets, which I really love about them.

Had tried a PXG set that is described similarly, but nearly as forgiving, and had to trade them in for a bit more forgiveness. Kudos to Taylormade to offer fitting events that are the best in the business.

All data recorded and accessible after the fitting to review. Event is free where I did it, and the guys were fantastic. Super kudos to RBG for having this and so many more items customizable for the best fit possible.

The fitting identified the stock red ventus shaft to be my best fit, and I couldn’t be happier with them right now.

I picked up a set of stealth irons this morning and played this afternoon with half a set in the bag (5,7,9,AW). The first shot was a 7 iron from 155 right on the money. That’s 15 yds on my previous set of p790’s.

What was most impressive was the incredible feel in addition to the additional distance. Same for the 5 iron and 9 iron. The AW didn’t have the same feel on chip shots but felt equally as good on full shots.

I hit one poor shot with the 5 iron towards the toe and lost about 10 yds. I also carried half a set of the new Cobra LTDX irons and hit shots with them as well from the same distances. The cobras are more forgiving, the stealth are better feeling, and a few yds longer.

I think that the cobras are a true game improvement iron. The tm stealth are not as confidence inspiring at address if you truly are a mid high handicaper. Incredible set of irons; and I’ve played them all since 1992 starting with the coveted Mizuno MP-29.

Best ever irons in my opinion. Handicap 7.

I purchased the Stealth Plus 9 degree driver around a month ago from Golf Galaxy and I very happy with the performance up to this point. I have only played about 4 to 5 rounds with my Stealth Plus so far but the results have been great.

Once TaylorMade launched the Stealth lineup I immediately knew I was going to purchase one but I wasn’t sure which one fit my game. I purchased the Callaway XR speed last year and the performance was okay but I wanted to change up and get fitted for the newest technology.

I scheduled a fitting at golf galaxy and went in with the mindset that I was going to get the stealth not the Stealth Plus. Started out by hitting my old driver (Callaway XR speed) and the results were not good lol Very high spin rate (5,000-6,000 range) and drives only carrying around 230-240 at best.

Then I hit the Stealth and Stealth Plus and the results were similar between the two but the Stealth Plus had the advantage for me. Results for Stealth Plus were low spin (2,000-3,000 range) and drives carrying around 260-270.

I had 2 drives over 300 yards! The regular Stealth had around the same data but higher spin resulting in lower yards off the tee. Dispersion was similar between the two as well. All of the data was from the trackman, hitting in a bay but I was very impressed with what I was seeing.

I ended up purchasing the Stealth Plus 9 degree extra stiff shaft. My natural drive shot shape is a cut and sometimes a slice. It took me a while to get down that this driver keeps my shot shape much straighter.

Once I got that down, I am hitting it around 10-15 yards further consistently and I’m able to keep my ball flight lower and straighter. Id highly recommend to get fitted for this driver and bring your old driver so you can compare statistics on the trackman between the two.

Hopefully this is convincing enough to pull the trigger on this beast.

I’m a 20 handicap occasional golfer, intending to play more often, so have been considering an equipment upgrade for a while. Drivers have got expensive! So, it took me a while to summon the courage to splash out on the Stealth HD Driver.

Having previously bought through a pro shop, I was hesitant to go direct, but I had a good idea of what I needed from a loft and shaft point of view so I went online. The chat support was v helpful – and the fact that my previous driver was an R15 TaylorMade helped.

The Stealth HD looks great, feels good in the grip and the head is a sensible size – big enough to instill confidence but not too enormous to draw withering attention from your playing partners. I’m not a good enough golfer to give you chapter and verse on the performance, but I am a bad enough golfer to let you know that this club is extremely FORGIVING!!! My frequent flare to the right has been reined in – a lot.

My mishits have resulted in surprising distance. The performance of the club overall adds confidence when you’re standing on the tee and that has been huge for me. I didn’t get any extra distance over my previous driver with the new Stealth HD, but I have achieved considerably more accuracy – and that has been worth the price of admission.

I have been a 15 hcp for years due to not being able to keep a driver in play. My driver swing speed is 98-103 typically. Iron play and putting are fine, strokes gained analysis showed what I knew- I’m a 25 hcp off the tee and a 5 hcp after the tee shot.

My last “few” drivers were. Titlest 813- when I hit the sweet spot, ball was hammered, out to 270 yds, but yardage greatly dropped on off center hits- which are my norm. Ping G400- Very forgiving and a huge improvement over the 813, but I was giving up yardage-quite a bit.

Gamed it got almost 3 years, then in the quest for more distance, off to the. Sim 2- much better distance, but I think poorly fitted shaft for my swing- I had no control over the club face. Sometimes open, sometimes closed, sometimes square.

I switched shafts with another who had the Rouge shaft and it was much straighter. Went to get fitted for a new shaft, but hit the Stealth plus and couldn’t go back. So now. Stealth Plus 9 degree with the stock Rouge shaft in stiff, 1/2” shorter than standard.

I hit all but 1 fairway first round I played. Drives were 255-260 typically and a VERY tight dispersion. Longest drive 283. My playing partners were in awe especially from ME being the one doing that- it’s not my MO.

The club head speed is up about 2 mph, ball speed is up about 3mph. Mishits don’t hurt much. I have found driving Nirvana.

I am still learning and improving my golf game, and more of a social yet golfer, i. e. I have yet to enter any of my clubs tournaments and compete, so I waited to buy new clubs, but I am very happy I finally did! I am athletic and fit, so for a women I have a fairly fast swing speed; therefore, I having been playing with men’s senior clubs and I with the exception of driving, I use only my irons.

I was originally fitted for the men’s Calloway Rogue set, but the Women’s Maverik Max set was a much better deal. So my pro and I practiced with their demos and they worked well. When I got my pre-owned set I was so excited because they are NEW! Since the weather as began to warm up and we can finally place, I have played about 7 rounds so far with my new clubs and honestly, I was very surprised, they have been great.

I have a more confident swing and one of the rounds was my lowest score in three years. Now I am searching for a new 5 iron!! I am happy to have found Calloway Pre-Owned, so I told all of my novice and experienced friends about it.

I almost returned these because I’m basically a golf club junkie and will buy anything if I think it’ll help my game. The Last thing I needed was another set of clubs to add to my collection. I then convinced myself to play with them 1 round to give them a chance.

Keep in mind that The Maverick pros have a smaller head profile so your ball striking needs to be fairly accurate. These clubs were amazing. I shot a 42 on front and a 43 the back…and only because my short game failed me and some fatigue on the back 9.

All in all I like the overall performance. The ball jumps off the face with good piercing trajectory and accuracy. These clubs are worth it so will stay in the bag for my Mens club tournament.

Had my Cleveland xl launcher irons a few Weeks now and have found them great. An upgrade from the basic Cleveland beginner set I had, they hit much longer with a smoother swing and pretty forgiving. Would have already bought my scores down 5-10 strokes a round due to the extra length I get with them.

If you are a high handicap golfer looking to improve to the mid/low handicap a really good set of irons at a good price.

Bought 9 iron and Pitching wedge. Lofts blended nicely with my Cleveland 48 degree, 52 degree, and 56 degree wedges. These Irons had weighted grips, I changed them because they did not match the rest of my set.

Medium Golf Pride mcc+4 weren’t offered. I Wish I could have tried the weighted Grip or could get them.

I started golfing regularly at the end of 2020. I had bought some 2nd hand Mizuno mp-52’s which the topline, sole thickness, and offset are about equivalent to a modern day tour iron. I had told myself that once I broke 100, I was going to get fit for irons to improve my game.

My main issues were off the tee and putting, with irons being the strong part of my game. I broke 100 in January of 2022. I had originally wanted to test out the King forged Tec irons, but being left handed, none of the golf stores in my area had a left handed demo, and being fresh out of high school, was scared to spend $1,000.

00 on irons I had never seen before. since I am still relatively new to golf, the fitter suggested that I go more of the game improvement route. I tested a lot of GI irons, with the Radspeed blowing away the rest of them.

I ended up getting fit for them 5iron- Sand Wedge. There is a lot I like about these irons, but a few things I wish were a little better. These irons have helped me a lot with consistency, with mis-hits still going far and being in play.

for being stronger lofted, these still generate a nice ball flight and good spin. The feel is soft, the wedges are a little firm, but still give pretty good feel. The distance I can get out of these are incredible also, they have really helped me to close the gap from the woods and hybrid sections of my clubs.

That being said, there are a couple of things I wish could be better with these clubs. I while still having a good ball flight and spin, they don’t go just quite as high as I personally would like, and could use just a little more spin.

As I have gotten better with lots of practice, another thing I noticed is precision. while these are very good for keeping you in play and getting you close to the green, they aren’t as precise as I would like, getting you on or around the green, but not necessarily attacking the pin.

Overall, these irons are great for high handicappers looking for consistency and also for those who need more distance. These have worked well for me, I have shot as low as an 87 at my home course, but if I had to do it again, I probably would have taken the leap of faith and got the forged tec instead.

Even though I still am relatively new at golf, I just think I went a little too far back as far as iron type goes. I like a lot of the technology in these irons and they do play great, but I would’ve liked a more compact head.

I bought an Epic Max 10. 5 driver with the Hzrdus Smoke 5. 5 IM 10 50g shaft (like new). I had it customized: the shaft was cut 1. 25 inch and I added the GP CP2 Wrap mid size grip (15g above std grip).

Upon arrival – I added a 2nd slide weight of 9 grams to bring the swing weight to D-1. I set the loft to 12. 5 Neutral and adjusted the slide weights to Neutral – and hit the driving range. I was not happy with the results – all my shots sliced right – what the heck? My previous driver was the 2017 Rogue and I loved it.

It was customized and set up exactly like the Epic Max – but it was paired with the Evenflow 5. 5 65g shaft. I put the old Evenflow shaft on the new Epic Max and that cured the slice to the right (caused by the driver head lagging behind due to my aggressive swing).

I also tried the IM Smoke shaft on the old Rogue and got the same slice results. Now, I was smiling – as I had a new driver that went straight. I tested the 2021 Epic Max against the 2017 Rogue – both with the Evenflow shaft.

The Epic Max was more forgiving and a couple yards longer. However, when I hit its sweet spot (slightly toe side of center & slightly above center line) – it was like the club had another gear – and I would see another 10-12 yards.

After playing a few rounds – I tweaked the slide weight setting slightly towards the heel from its Neutral setting and gained a few more yards when I hit a draw. Bottom Line: the Epic Max is indeed a performer when coupled with the right shaft and customized to your liking.

What I really like: my golfing buddies (who recently bought other brand drivers) – hate it!.

I am a 53 year old southpaw and have been golfing on and off for 30 years, the last 20 has been at a 16-18 handicap. I’ve lost about a half a club length off my distance in the last year due to age, with an average decent drive in the 230-240yds range.

My current driver had been a Titleist 910 D2 and the usual dispersion pattern for my drives has long been characterized by a frequent fade. This 10. 5 degree Epic Max driver (dialed dow to 9. 5) has straightened out my drives and mishits noticeably.

The fade is almost imperceptible when I do mis-hit it and I occasionally have a small draw, that is without even changing the settings to a draw bias. My last outing I was either in the fairway or just out of the fairway on seven out of seven drivable holes.

The fades are definitely not as prominent and the distance is about 25 yards longer than what I was hitting. For an intermediate player like me the forgiveness factor for this club is exactly as advertised.

Purchased a month ago, and am very happy I did. I was using a 17 year old Great Big Bertha before. I averaged 250-280 with it. I now average 280-300. This is huge! My longest drive ever came in just my second round with it.

332 yards! I will admit that it is not nearly as forgiving as my old driver. I am a better striker now though and it has not been a huge issue. Hitting on the higher side of the face produces a very poor shot.

Due to this I have had to tee my ball lower. Once I made that adjustment, it greatly decreased my shorter drives. Outside of the center shots, feel like and result in a dead ball flight. This driver may require a good strike, but the added distance it gave me is well worth it.

I used to have a spinning issue that could balloon my ball flights and shorten my total yardage. This driver has all but eliminated the ballooning I used to deal with. I love seeing my drives run down the fairway for additional yardage.

I play in a windy state, and the lower height is almost a necessity.

I recently had the experience of my pitching wedge shaft breaking inside the hosel while striking a ball at the range, sending the club head 60 yards down range. Being a lefty using X-22 uniflex shafts the ability to find a replacement was non-existent so I went shopping for another used set and found another bore through hosel design with great reviews.

Long story short I ended up with this set after a week and limited try outs. The feel is slightly less rewarding than hitting a pure shot with my X-22’s, but the ball flight is much more rewarding as it is straight and high.

Without having fitting capabilities available quick enough I went with gut that with my swing speed bouncing around the line of between stiff and regular, with my X-22 miss being a draw that could easily hook) I opted for the stiffer shaft and ended up with the Stiff TP105.

The TP105 works better for me as I can get a little quick at the top and it adds just a gentle reminder to be patient. Note that the stiff here is in the softer side of stiff which suits someone like me who floats around the change over point.

Once I got my clubs, I attempted to do an apples to apples comparison when I hit my X-22 4 iron against the steelhead XR 5 iron. I not only can hit the XR 5 iron about 5 yards longer than my old 4, the ball flight is higher and it sustains that height even longer.

Even the 7 iron (loft and length are near equivalent to my X-22 6 iron) adds 5 yards of carry. Ball flight took some time to get used to for the short irons as it approaches it’s maximum height early and then maintains that height until the ball seems to run out of steam and drop out of the sky.

I now hit my already high flying wedges even higher, a draw back that isolates a small tendency to hang back slightly on approach shots, but my wedges almost stop in their divots now versus a couple feet of roll out.

It’s also nearly impossible to hit a bad shot with these. As long as you keep it off the shiny parts you get decent distance. You won’t have a massive drop off as you leave the sweet spot. When I first started hitting these clubs I hit a 4-iron shot closer to the toe (the mark barely stayed off the chrome) and watched as is sailed 5-6 yards shorter than my previous squared up shot; it feels like cheating at first.

I am a fairly beginner golfer with a high handicap and a bad slice. I had never been confident using my existing driver and it remained in the bag, fairly unused, only coming out if I felt like punishing myself or losing a ball.

This club has been like a magic wand. My slice has significantly improved as has my confidence in hitting my driver. The arispeed is extremely easy to hit and I hugely enjoy hitting this club. I could not recommend it enough to anyone who suffers with slice.

The build quality is great, easily as good as any Cobra product. The service from Golf Box was also second to none.

Let me start off by saying this, every driver I’ve ever hit, I slice terribly. I’m also not the best golfer by any means, but this driver literally changed my game. I used to be afraid of drivers, knowing I couldn’t hit the ball straight with them, but now driving is my favorite part of the game.

I decided on the offset 10. 5 degree driver to assist with the deletion of my slice, and it did exactly that. Within the first 4 balls I hit at the driving range, I was able to hit the back net halfway up at 250yd’s, with a perfect ball flight path.

I’ve never seen another “game improvement” club work this well.

I have hit the 3 and 4 F-Max Hybrids I bought a few weeks on the range once, and have played one round, 18 holes with them. But, in this short time I have hit them well. I really like the offset club head.

I am a 70 year old, 16 handicap left hander, and they really fit my eye. At impact the sound is crisp and strong even on a few shots I hit off-center. So far, I have hit both clubs 5-7 yards farther than my old hybrids.

I believe these clubs are excellent choices for me!.

After playing a Taylormade Driver for 20+ years I finally tried something new. TM was the first to have the larger heads, first the 320 CC, then the 360CC and so forth. I purchased several over the years, they really changed the game for new golfers.

The last one I purchased was the Sim. The curved club face just didn’t work for me. I then won a Callaway Driver in pick the pro for the US Open win and chose Rahm, got a Callaway Speed. Pretty good but inconsistent, low ball flight and it had an unimpressive sound.

Then after having some wine I made a low ebay bid on the Tsi2 and won for $260. It took a bit of getting used to, but when you find the sweet spot there is a magical high pitched “ting” and the ball goes forever.

15 yards farther than the Sim and and a bit longer that the Callaway Speed but much more consistent in part to a LARGE sweetspot. My SS can be up to 106 mph but 95-98 is where I can be consistent. With the correct launch angle (15*) and thinking of contact, not crushing the ball, drives are 270 plus.

Overall my favorite driver yet. try it, you will be glad you did.

First, get properly fitted; thank you PGA Superstore Lawrenceville. I would buy this club just based on the sound of the ball coming off the face, but add in the extra club head speed due to the engine of the club (Tensei light-weight shaft) that translates into extra distance, along with the Sure-Fit hosel and CG track technology that allows you to tune this club in, and the stylish traditional look; and you have a beast that has everyone in you group saying WOW when you hit it.

Did I mention that I’ve never heard a better sounding club, hard to describe, but it’s very solid and powerful, it will turn heads. I would find a way to make this club work just based on the sound, but I didn’t have to thanks again to the folks at PGA Superstore (get a Studio Fitting).

With this club dialed in, I gained 4-6 MPH club-head speed and increased my distance by +18 yards compared to my 915 D3. I attribute my handicap going from a 7. 9 to 6. 4 in just over a month to this club.

I listed faster club speed as a con, in that you will need to adjust your swing for the increased speed that you will generate, a very little inconvenience considering the benefits you’ll derive (hitting wedges into the green versus short to mid irons).

Highly recommend this club (properly fitted) to any golf enthusiast that wants to improve their game.

I purchased the TSi1 driver with the light shaft (40g), regular flex. The club was to upgrade from my Cobra offset driver. Due to a tendency to produce a fade or mild slice, I have been using various editions of the Cobra offset driver for years.

After getting older (67) I was getting fed up with losing so much distance off the tee to my playing partners so decided to check out some new products that were appropriate for my age and could be adjusted for my swing.

I tested the Callaway Epic, Taylormade Sim 2, and the Titleist TSi1 driver on the range at Heron Glen Golf Course in Flemington NJ. I quickly dismissed the Epic, and concentrated on the other two clubs.

It was a close choice to be fair but the Titleist produced the straight, repeatable shot I wanted so I opted for the TSi1 which was set up with the hosel settings set to D3. I played my first round with it yesterday, and I am ecstatic about this club.

It produced predictable solid drives all day which were on average at least 20 yards further than I was used to hitting the ball. This resulted in using shorter clubs into greens which as expected resulted in better scores.

I LOVE this Titleist driver and would highly recommend it to anyone who is now a senior, has always fought a slice, and is looking for more distance. I will be returning for a fairway wood and some hybrids as soon as I have the money!.

I recently purchased the g425 3 hybrid with a set of G710 irons. I’m nearly 60 and historically had always hit my irons longer that whom I was playing with. The last few years I found myself “clubbing up” one or two irons due to lack of distance.

I went as far as telling my son my frustrations with accepting old age and made an announcement that I was going to find a set of the most forgiving consistent irons I could find like the old Ping Zings.

Then I saw a set of old zings marketplace 3-9 plus all theee wedges in the correct fitting for me. I bought them and had them cleaned, checked and gripped. Played 8 to 10 rounds with them (30 year old clubs) and didn’t think I could be happier.

One day while out of town I had no clubs with me and played with a demo set of g710 irons with the g425 hybrids. I was completely blown out of the water with both the iron set and hybrids. I promptly purchased the set of irons and only the G425 3 hybrid as I have a shorter rescue that I will never part with and a driver that works incredibly well for me.

I am consistently hitting the G425 3 hybrid 235 to 240 yards. I am stunned at the distance and accuracy. I can absolutely count on putting it on the mark from that far out 98 percent of the time. The random mis hits have been my fault but still left me with a long playable shot.

I am a lifelong slicer with driver (I call it a “power fade”) and have been showing up on the tee box on many tight holes with this hybrid since it hits so straight. Did not think I would have a new go to club in the bag so quickly.

I’m an average to above average amature golfer with a swing speed of 110-115 mph. I recently bought a Ping 3 hybrid stiff shaft to replace my 3 iron and fill the gap in yardage between my 5 wood, which typically plays 230-250 yds.

I’m hitting shots and greens with the Ping 3 hybrid that I’ve never hit before from 220 with ease. My 3 iron had a range of about 190-210 yards, however, I’ve always had trouble hitting my 3 iron straight.

For this reason I used my 3 iron maybe once or twice per round, only when I couldnt logically play something else. Shots with the Ping 3 hybrid feel pure no matter what the lie is or the conditions, i.

e. wind/rain. The club feels light, smooth, and comfortable at contact. Range for me in one season can be tuned from 195 up to 230 yards with ease and no change in swing style. My average distance this season has been 210-220 yards, repeatedly.

The best part is 95% of the shots with this club have been straight and on target. I’ve turned from using this club as a 3 iron replacement into my safe club for any shot over 200 yds and am hitting greens from 220 that I’ve usually had to chip onto when using my 3 iron.

This club is a must have for anyone looking to improve their long iron game or just need to have a safe club in their bag no matter if it’s in the middle of fairway or from the rough. As the title reads, it’s been a game saver and is quickly making its way into a top club choice in my bag.

Now if I can just make all these putts I’m not used to getting.

At first I was apprehensive about this club as Ping states that the club would only fit 10% of golfers. But my fitter stated that the data suggested this was a good fit (as was the G425 Max). He suggested that the LST might help my slight downward swing (attack angle average was -3).

Distance average was 250 yards with relatively tight shot dispersion. After several rounds, I’m glad I trusted my fitter. This club truly is great to hit and has been a fairway finder. We also found the Alta shaft (stiff) was best for my swing.

I have been very pleased with Ping; as I’ve improved in golf I’ve found that Ping clubs have helped my game. This G425 LST provides great distance and the mid to low trajectory I prefer to play. I LOVE the sound the club makes on contact! Again, thank you Ping for making great equipment which has translated into greater enjoyment of the game! One last thought regarding forgiveness as I’m sure readers would wonder.

Compared to the G425 Max this club is less forgiving meaning if you miss high-low or toe-heel, you still may have a playable shot but distance will suffer. The loss in distance for mishits was acceptable when I considered that I was obtaining consistent ball flight with the LST (low to mid trajectory).

Again, highly recommend fitting when shopping for golf clubs. Cheers!.

The wind was slightly into, maybe a touch off my right shoulder. The course, looking spectacular, was well packed for this sunny winters day. My new weapon in hand, I teed up my TP5 and gave the customary waggle.

I could feel the eyes burning into me. The first opportunity was here. So far it had been a mix of long irons and 3 woods from the tee, course management at a premium. But now. Now was the time. As I lined up, I took aim at the tree that had long been my nemesis, snatching ball after ball.

Not today. A gentle draw was called for, with my new weapon adjusted appropriately via the adjustable hosel, standard loft, draw bias. A deep breath. As I started my backswing, a hint of sunlight bounced off the carbon crown and caught my eye.

This, I thought, was going far. I felt the Tensei AV Series 65g stiff flex shaft load up as I began my downswing, full of anticipation. Milliseconds later, the Flash Face Jail Break supported face sent the ball ascending into the stratosphere, straighter than a Nullarbor Highway, the distance ticking over like a V8 Supercar thundering down Conrod.

The ball landed purposely, 1 bounce, 2 bounces before trickling onto the front edge and nestling 5 feet from the hole. I turned back to face my playing partners, looking as smug as Patrick Reed accepting the Masters trophy.

Three jaws wide open. Shock and awe written all over their faces. I knew at that precise moment, this game will never be the same again. Thank you Callaway, thank you.
