My overall experience with this company was dreadful. At first I was ecstatic that my bike arrived even though the shipping took a decent amount of time, which I understand since it’s a bike and the box is somewhat awkward.
My bike is here so I start to unbox it and was impressed with the packaging and how well everything was prepared. Now this is where things went south. I start piecing my bike together and realize that it arrived with a split tube.
I brush this off and get another the next morning, it’s just a tube. Sweet I’m now ready to ride then boom. as I’m checking my rear tire of the tube I just replaced I see a big slit in the tire, great another problem.
So that was just the start of this unprofessional experience. To save time I’m going to cut to all of the other components that arrived broken on my so called “new bike” first off my buddy that’s a bike mechanic hops on and lives the ride.
Shortly after he comes to realize that they sent me a bike with a bent cassette which is a pretty essential component for a bike but still not the end of the world but regardless it shouldn’t have been bent.
Next disaster that happened with this bike was that the crank arm fully broke off on me. I honestly could not believe it. This had me furious honestly. The fact that I made sure this bike was dialed and even used a torque wrench to guarantee proper tension and this happened is pretty absurd.
The cranks were decent and not complete **** so I was baffled. I studied them everything looked intact so I dialed them back in convincing myself that maybe I screw up checking the bolts even though I was positive that it was not my fault this happened.
Surely enough I was right and the same problem happens AGAIN with the cranks. So immediately after I inspect the cranks to find out that my spindle holding my cranks together is completely stripped. That’s really unprofessional to let products go out like this costumers.
it’s absolutely ridiculous, myself or someone else could have been seriously injured if one of those components failed at the wrong place at the wrong time. I ****** it up and replaced my parts that needed to be replaced.
As I’m dealing with all of these headaches the horrendous customer service was not helping my worries. They agreed to reimburse me for my tube which they still have not taken care of, told me they would replace the tire and send me a new one but they also mentioned that they will not send me a matching tire to the one that arrived with the bike which basically forces me into buying a tire to match that new one now orrrrrr ride mismatch tires which I shouldn’t have to do since my bike arrived with two matching tires.
Then they offer me a $50 store credit for my troubles haha after I just spent $2,200 on a bike from this company. What am I supposed to do with $50 give it back to this company that has already been ******** me and buy a pair of pedals for my broken bike???? That’s not even reasonable what so ever.
All I ever wanted was a partial reimbursement for my troubles. it was that simple, I guess not though. Finally they find an “alternative” or so I thought. They want me to now send the bike back and send me a shipping label.
Seems reasonable but it’s not at all. at this point I’ve already had the bike for two weeks and have been fixing components so sending the bike back at this pint is the biggest pain in the ***. I then took the label and used it to send back all of the faulty components that this so called “new” bike came with and hope to have these problem resolved.
I held out for awhile with this review to be fare and give the company a chance. I am hoping for them to resolve this with a partial reimbursement of the cost of the bike to compensate me for this horrifying experience.
Out of all of the 14 years that I have been biking and skateboarding I have never ever had to deal with such horrible communication, customer service and problem solving. It was absolute ****. If you are reading this choose wisely where you are going spend thousands of dollars on your next bike.
At this point that I am at, until these problems are resolved I am positive that I will never purchase a bike or components from this company ever again and I will continue to spread the word that dealing with bikes online is absolute NOT worth your time.
