I won’t explain what it does, I presume folks know it’s for higher login/data access above and beyond passwords. Other than standard two factor logins with a key. Fido, fido2 and u2f are pretty well covered.

Yubico, a company that drives the above standards extends those to additional protocols, a yubico authenticator app that works in conjunction with the key. Nice. This key, like others you’ll find for sale away from the manufacturer may have older key firmware with a bug or improperly implemented feature.

Keys are updated periodically. But they can’t be updated in the field due to security issues. So the key I got was on a firmware from about a year ago and is missing a few profiles added to some security protocols I don’t use.

Next. note you should have 2 keys for backup, but they don’t have to be the same, not do you need two of these 5 series yubico. I got this and a cheapo but we’ll functioning basic key for ten bucks. So if the yubico breaks, I can use the cheapo backup until I receive the replacement yubico key.

I like the idea of increased security (2FA), but have found very little use/support for the device and HATE SMS texts. Bank doesn’t support (which is major issue since it only supports alpha numeric passwords, no special characters), PayPal doesn’t support, shopping sites don’t support.

Haven’t figured out how to ‘add’ gov sites (SSA, Medicare, IRS, FCC, FTC, etc. ) to login. gov which I did set up. Not sure how to configure Google AND continue allowing Thunderbird access to Gmail. VERY steep learning curve, but working on it.

Seems the ‘sites’ on yubico work and are easy to set up, but everything else is painful to configure (manually enter password to ‘slot’ on device).

It’s well known in security circles that software and SMS two-factor authentication is not enough. SMS is easily subject to number-swapping or even Twilio hacks. If you want to be properly secure, especially for cloud accounts, something physical like this Yubikey is what you need.

I found the keyring-sized devices annoying because I’d always leave them in a drawer or something. With this device it’s always available on my laptop, and if it is stolen I can just remove it from my accounts (I use a keyring for backup and leave it at home).

I’ve been using this lock for over 7 years now, and have owned a few. None have failed. They’re fantastic. The size is pocketable if you need, but big enough to lock to most posts. I used to be a bike courier, so I’d like to think I know locks.

Yes, it rattles. But it is way lighter than most of the competition, which matters a lot to me. The attaching bracket on one of my 3 locks was tight, so I had to sand it down a bit to slide in easier.

The locking mechanism on all of them have been rock solid. I’ve never had a kryptonite this consistent, they always needed to be lubed up periodically. All in all, it’s not perfect, but I keep buying them as it’s the best I’ve found.

I can report some of the same issues others have expressed. Did have one jam up after about a season of use but after switching it out the second one had had no issues at all. Locks and unlocks great every time.

Used in all weather and temperatures. Small enough to clip to a bag or tuck into your belt and just big enough to lock my frame and front wheel if needed. Small amount of rattle but I don’t notice it when riding.

Despite the first mishap still a solid lock for the price.

I bought this less than a month ago. It worked well for the first week but since then, I have had to wrestle with it to get it to open, but not each time (weird). I finally gave up on it yesterday and returned it to MEC.

They tested it and of course, it worked fine. I explained that sometimes it popped open easily and other times jammed after which they treated me like I was lying about the problem with the lock. I had to argue to get a refund for it.

Not a good look MEC. Anyhow, don’t buy this lock. It jams.

Not cheap, however, I’m really impressed with the pereformance. The IR LEDS are very visible at night, therefore they have been turned down to the minimum that allows the camera to operate. I don’t believe in the deterent factor of announcing the location of security cameras, it makes them eisier to avoid.

Since the introduction of their legacy Air Cam, Ubiquiti has made a quality camera. Each generation has improved upon the previous, especially in terms of mounting and aiming their cameras. This model camera is easy to use and has a versatile and durable mounting system.

In addition, the software is easy to install, and the camera is quickly available to use. The night vision is a nice feature, but the documentation does not tell you its range, which is about 20 feet ( 6 meters).

The IR Extender accessory is recommended. The one drawback is that it does not come with a 24 volt PoE injector because of the many switches that have that feature.

The con is that I have 14 UVC G3 bullet cameras deployed overseas and to date 11 have failed. Loss of color, Loss of IR, night vision Loss of sound. Ubiquiti’s warranty is 1 year which makes recovery for exchange impossible.

Trash software, 0/5 do not recommend. I’ve had subscriptions since 2017 but will not be renewing anymore. Bitdefender was great 4 or 5 years ago when it was purely security software that ran scheduled virus scans on your computer; they were a reasonable premium on top of Windows’ built-in security features because Windows 10 still had a lot of holes back then.

Now Bitdefender is more Norton-esque in how annoying their advertisements (I know you can turn them off) and notifications are. They’ll even stop you from connecting to public wifi networks (like at an airport, for example), and spam you with notifications about unsafe connections until you go through the clicks to actually turn Bitdefender off.

And when I say spam, I mean notifications every 10 seconds that pull focus from whatever window you have open and are actually using, so you have to actually click back into whatever you were working on.

Yeah, bro, I know that public airport wifi isn’t the most secure connection in the world, but I still need it at the moment. And you can just close whatever you think is causing the notifications and they’ll stop, right? No, the backlog of notifications continues popping up for the next 10 minutes.

At some point, the company stopped worrying as much about security and more about seeming useful and selling you other products. They must have a very large marketing budget because there’s nothing but glowing reviews (that they probably paid for) on tech websites if you search their name.

I use to have Bitdefender on my old PC and laptop until I built a new PC. I forgot to install Bitdefender on it. but haven’t missed it.

In a nutshell this is the only 5/5 rated by PCgamer. Tomsguide ranked it the best value in antivirus software. Norton is constantly ranked up there as well, some people rank it over Bitdefender because of the extra features, Bitdefender will charge you for each of the extra features including password manager, which Kaspersky offered.

Kaspersky has been removed from all the main reviewers lists because of the possible association with their government, being a business located in Moscow. After 2 days I have a ticket in to tech support.

Community support also has the question posted a few times. App lock says you can unlock by using fingerprint or pin, but the fingerprint doesn’t work. My phone has an amazing fingerprint sensor that always works, thanks google pixel, the phones battery sucks but that fingerprint sensor is on point.

I actually had 700+ days remaining on my Kaspersky antivirus which has done a terrific job. The only reason I switched is because of the sanctions and allegations against Russia colluding with businesses with the possibility of cyber warfare.

I am not a high profile target by any means but I don’t want to be caught in the crossfire of 2 powerhouses. Overall I am pleased with bitdefender, I can still protect 5 devices, currently for $20! Annual subscription is $90 for 5 devices, I did read you can upgrade to 10 devices for $100.

Luckily I can get away with 5 devices. I do hear the services for iPhone are limited or lacking. I have android and windows so I can’t attest to those claims. Solid security for my casual browsing needs.

I am pleased with the disk optimization feature Kaspersky didn’t offer. I feel very protected with this software running. I outsource my VPN to surfshark so I don’t care about the minimal amount provided with this program.

Surfshark allows me to trick netflix into thinking I’m in another country for access to get an expanded movie list. Kaspersky gave a very comparable VPN, which is a minimal 2gb of data.

I really wanted to like this product, but after months of dealing with Support trying to get a few serious bugs worked out, I can see why this product is so cheap. The features are helpful, but so are the other security softwares.

The GUI is slightly easier to use compared to other softwares I’ve tried. However, the constant freezing in SafePay mode and inability to turn off the virtual keyboard (that takes up half your screen) and allow pop-ups that you do want is seriously hampering my ability to get work done (or even just shop!) I have to keep rebooting my laptop now – this is not what I expected from a security software that should be humming along in the background.

I’ve used ESET, Panda, Kaspersky, Norton, and decided to give Bitdefender a try because it was on sale for 3 users for a 3 year subscription. I can see why it was so cheap. So if you don’t mind your workflow constantly being interrupted with freezing and having to reboot all the time, by all means, pay for this garbage when it’s on sale.

In the meantime, I’m switching back to ESET…. I’m not going to wait another 2 years dealing with this.

Just purchased this for the third time/year. I am not particularly tech-savvy, but have been able to install with not a lot of issue. First and second year, the link in the enclosed brochure was off – as in it wasn’t the link for the edition I purchased; however, searched for the issue and found the proper link promptly on Trend Micro’s site.

In case the review itself doesn’t state so, I purchase the box version, not the download (it does not contain a CD, but the pamphlet with the serial number to register. Have not had any viruses, malware that I’m aware of – I do the quick scans sometimes but prefer the total scan.

I do not visit a lot of sites, though, that typical people in their 40s probably frequent (no social media accounts, major bank sites for example).

So I’ll begin by stating that I’ve used this product on every kind of device except Linux (not needed) and Android. Works as advertised on Mac, tested on Big Sur. It’s highly annoying on iOS as it insists on installing a VPN that does not play well with iCloud private relay.

Together they effectively make internet access impossible. On windows 10, it works marginally better than Bit Defender, but it doesn’t seem to work well with Windows 11. Granted, Windows 11 is still a tad buggy so time will paint a truer picture.

What really perturbed me was the fact that I didn’t check the price that Trend Micro charged prior to purchasing it here. It’s about $40 more at Best Buy, so check with Trend Micro first prior to buying it here.

I love Trend Micro. I’ve been a TrendMicro user for over 10 years. I am a heavy internet user and it has caught many a dangerous website and protected me from viruses. I’ve never had a problem. Updates are done to their virus library frequently.

It’s an easy install and setup. You are offered many free tools such as optimizing your computer’s boot-up speed or removing junk files from your computer. I plan on using them for the rest of my life.

Plus, it’s always coming on sale. I’ve never renewed online. A month or so before the coverage is set to expire, I just check the sale ads at Best Buy and online and eventually it comes on sale.

Great little device. Replaced a Ubiquiti X router. Very similar capabilities; I just wanted the full system reporting capabilities within the Unifi controller software. This USG works great for that.

Only minus (same as the Edger outer X) is that you can’t do all the super security stuff and still maintain gigabit speeds. This takes a much higher-horsepower device. No biggie on a small home network, but I would not recommend for a larger, enterprise-type situation, with more users and critical security needs.

I wanted a firewall/router/VPN for my home. Already have several Unifi products so it would work great together. Setup was not a breeze just let you know. Knew that before I got. Once it setup it works great.

But there is a catch. When the firewall is fully deployed. My broadband speed would drop. My broadband connection is 400 down and 20 up. With the intrusion detection enabled. My speed dropped to 100 down and 20 up.

Couldn’t figure that out. It seem that the system isn’t designed to handle all that bandwidth processing. So had to turn it off. Not a huge deal for home use. But would have loved it to keep my full broadband speed.

Other then that it’s a pretty great product. One other note. It gets hot. I had it on top of my switch. My switch was getting hot. So I had to place spacers to keep better airflow. Other then that all good.

we started with other mesh network solutions. They didnt like working with apple devices. Everything else worked fine. But no support, logs, or statistics. THIS router has everything and tells you if something needs adjusting.

Works great with everything. if you turn on everything the throughput will suffer and limit you to about 90meg. More than enough for most needs.

I’ve been using Webroot with NO problems for during the days when Webroot’s original creator/developer still ran and owned Webroot. When he sold Webroot, over the years going forward, I’ve been developing concern about Webroot because of the growing number of negative reviews of folks obviously having viruses and malware but Webroot didn’t detect them.

After using Webroot for decades, last year I decided to try McAfee and ended my Webroot. McAfee was so awful and so intrusive. It was this whole household’s computers that McAfee created so much frustration with our computer experience; slow start up, too many updated and reminder messages even when disabled, and in short, everyone’s computer experience (desktops, laptops) got too frustrating and slow that I went back to Webroot after seeing more positive reviews.

I’m keeping tabs on Webroot’s reviews, online and on Google Play, in case there are still, or more comments about viruses, malware, etc. , that are not being detected, and if I have to switch from Webroot again, pick the ones with the most 5-start reviews.

Because Webroot hasn’t been intrustive with our computer experience, that is what led me to “suspect” if it’s catching anything. I haven’t had any security problems with viruses, etc. , which is great, but as long as our computers and devices ARE protected that’s great, just that it’s a little scary to think that, according to the reviews, what if Webroot is not catching something.

Meanwhile, it appears to be all good, still, so unless something negative happens that slips past my Webroot, I’m staying with Webroot! I must say though, decades ago, Webroot had an AWESOME software called “Window Washer” which can really clean up your computer and leave no traces behind.

Then, I believe in the early 2000s, Webroot did away with that. THAT was heartbreaking. You guys would LOVE that. And that was extra security and peace of mind too. BRING IT BACK!! But that software which, if I remember correctly, was FREE, I think included with any of your Webroot security package.

But Window Washer was also from the original creator of Webroot, and whomever took over did away with it. It would be an awesome addition because it deletes a lot more and creates more space on your harddrive.

With many things going greatly out there, somehow someone always comes up with an idea to “fix” what is going awesomely only for the end result to be disappointing.

That being said once I made it through to the other side of their bungled up update process – the new & improved Webroot App is AWESOME & A JOY TO HAVE RUNNING on my cellphones & tablet! All of them run sooo much faster! I’ve been a Webroot customer since 08/2019 and after researching ALL THE REST I’ll STILL be a loyal Webroot customer through this change! I’m buying another 5 device 1 year subscription through their website today after I finish this review! Okay I’m going to try to list the update problems: 1.

I believe I had a problem with Sec code because I thought it was the old one under Webroot but now you will need to add Webroot to Microsoft Authenticator so you can complete the add. 2. The app says to follow the instructions from inside the app.

but mine never deleted the old app because Webroot is an admin app. I had to go to Settings, Apps, choose old Webroot which pop-up says this is an admin app blah blah blah. do you really want to delete? It makes you choose yes like 2 or 3 times at least mine did to get rid of it.

Once ALL of this was done it asks if you want Webroot’s internet protection? I LOVE THIS NEW VERSION OF THE INTERNET PROTECTION! Seamless & so invisible just remember to change you home page to this one so you’ll ALWAYS be safe while browsing!.

I was a Webroot Brand Ambassador for 8 years and I saw many cases where Webroot saved a customer’s machine. I called on Best Buys and became friends with most of the Geeks, who always recommended Webroot to customers because Weboot did not slow down a machine’s performance.

One lady brought her computer in because it would only run about 2 minutes until it crashed and had to be rebooted. It had a well know anti-virus in it which was expiring in a couple of days, so the Gook persuaded her to try Webroot and installed it.

Webroot found a page full of malware on the first scan that the famous brand had missed and removed it. On the first reboot the machine ran perfectly but the Geek ran the entire Geek Squad cleaning package on it which takes overnight.

There was no subsequent malware found and the Geek couldn’t wait to tell me and said it was the easiest cleaning he had ever done on a machine. After that, Webroot was the first thing he ran when cleaning a machine.

Webroot was already in the cleaning package but he moved it to the first step and it normally caught all the problems. Protection for a machine cannot get better than that. This is only one of many success stories.

Needless to say I did not have to sell Webroot because it sold itself. My stores never reached Webroot being 100% of protection software sales and installs but they all came close. It has been named the best in PC Magazine test on numerous occasions.

Have swapped out from my old setup with a ASUS GT-AC5300, at the time I bought the ASUS it was $699. I believe the package you get with this is much better price to performance. Out of the box this unit doesn’t come with wireless, so if you require this you will either need to purchase a POE switch/Injector to run with this as none of 8 built in switch ports can do POE.

These usually come with the Unifi WAP unless buying the 5 packs etc. This is a great option for people that want to make use of some of the included features like camera’s etc with the Unifi Protect being able to pop a HDD in and off you go.

If you have no use for the added Camera/VOIP/Access support you might be better off with one of the other routers they have which would also make adding on of wireless a much better deal against the more consumer routers on the market.

I paired mine up with a USW-Pro-Gen2 POE switch and a Nano-HD WAP, this is performing amazing with wireless range already alot better in my two story townhouse. One of the other things quickly noticed is the speed test it does during setup, this unit was able to get a much better down/up speed.

The Asus could only get a max of 800Mbps down & 40Mbps Up, whereas this was able to get 980Mbps down & 49Mbps able to get me a bit more speed out of my Gigabit internet with the better hardware the DMP has over the Asus.

Also something that the people that like to go further into what there network is doing is with the Unifi Controller that allows you to get an extremely detailed view of everything, taking from what someone else said to me when looking into the Ubiquiti gear is it’s some of the closest to enterprise grade gear at home for a very good price.

I have been operating with SOHO router/Firewall/WI-FI combo devices for a decade, and finally gave up on them. there are simply too many functions for the meager CPU and RAM resources available on those devices.

The Uquiti Dream Machine Pro has an Integrated switch, 2x10Gbps SFP’s and a WAN port. It also has 4GB of RAM 16GB of onboard storage for its OS and software, and a Quad Core Processor operating at around 1.

8Ghz. This is an excellent product, It doesn’t stall and it features Packet Inspection as well. The setup is straightforward, and the Built in Switch only starts choking when switching around 8GBps. Truly a great product.

Just bear in mind that if you want wireless connectivity you should add the Unifi antenna to the product which I intend to do in the future. Modular, Clever, and performant. A welcome reprieve.

Set up was a bit interested but this is well documented online. As I have a Fiber to the Node NBN connection I had to do the following, power cycle the modem with it unplugged from the UDM Pro, wait til it was reconnected to the internet (status lights are your friend here!), then plug the modem back into the WAN port of the UDM Pro.

Hope this helps people get going with it if you’re having issues. The app is great for basic set up and status checking although if you want to really harness the power of the UDM Pro you’ll need to log into the web interface.

My particular use case currently has no UniFi AP’s but does have a G3 Flex camera set up, this was quick fast and efficient to get this up and running though UniFi Protect which is included in the UDM Pro.

Can’t wait to add UniFi Access Points to really get the full benefit from this device! Highly recommended if you want to have ultimate control over your network through a single interface.

There isn’t much to recommend this software. It took over three hours to download and install–so it’s a major time investment. I’ve tried other security suites such as AVG, Trend Micro and Kaspersky.

None of them took more than thirty minutes to download and install. So the time factor alone means this is a poorly designed and programmed product. The second major problem with this software package is that it is not user friendly in terms of ease of setting it up.

In addition, this software package is lacking in features other products offer as standard. The best advice I can give someone contemplating purchasing this is–don’t. Even if they cost a bit more, the other products are easier and quicker to download, install, and set up–and offer more useful features than this offers.

I can’t praise Uni-ball enough for making the Ultra Micro Point gel pens. Very hard to come by in black and blue inks. But, for accounting, check registers and check memos this ultra micro point are needed, wanted very much.

Even for larger sums, have to write tiny like a 4 font. I would be more thrilled if Uni-ball could make a Ultra-Micro RED ink pen, as accounting uses RED ink in the math/sums, correction and underscores of figures and words, e.

g. calling attention to words, math errors, etc. Having to use a different point size throws the uniformity of the work. It looks as if it covers over an error, making it in question. I would request consideration that a dozen box of RED Ultra-Micro tipped pens be offered.

I know of no other pen makers offering this super fine writing instruments. I can see it used in drafting, art, teachers grading papers, using it to call attention to an appointment on calendars and all space limited written areas.

As a fanatic of fine point pens this is my number 1 favorite. Rich pigment, smooth even flow, durable nib and comfortable body. The super ink is all that they claim and essential to the labeling of my craft supplies, planner, notes, assignments/ reviews and has even held up when used for actual field notes in misty/foggy weather.

The only reason I have replaced these with the Energel XF refills is due to the difficulties in finding the actual refills at an affordable price (as physically finding them in stores is near impossible).

If you find them on sale stock up because they are worthy of your money but if you write anywhere as much as me you will benefit from saving a few coins. Quality 10/10 Durability 10/10 Affordability (best if on sale but worth the investment).

These are hands-down the best pens I’ve ever written with! First of all the basketball-like ridged grip is very comfortable to hold in your hand, the pens have a nice weight distribution so your hands are less likely to cramp up, and most of all, the ink is extremely dark and comes out flawlessly.

The tip is very fine so it might feel a little scratchy on the paper, but the ink flows consistently and does not bleed through notebook paper, skip, or feather out. These pens have made my handwriting look so beautiful.

I would highly recommend these for anything, even important documents. They are perfect!.

This software is constantly working for you, and that’s not a good thing. My brand-new Windows PC seemed to never settle down – fan always running high, always hot, always busy. After a few weeks, I got tired of this, and started looking for the reason – Windows 10 can’t be THAT bad ! And I found the reason in the task list.

This software is constantly doing something, 24 hours a day. Why? That is not how antivirus is supposed to work. After the initial securing of the machine, it should become invisible, not suck up a steady 20% of the CPU.

I uninstalled Trend Micro, and immediately the machine settled down. I installed another anti-virus, and the machine remains normal. Worse, I installed Trend Micro on a fairly new Mac Mini, and it brought it to its knees – overheating, and finally freezing.

I uninstalled it there, and the Mini went back to normal. I came to the conclusion that this software clobbers your PC, and removed it from another Mac just on principle. If the salesman offers you this software cheap with a new machine, just say no.

I don’t care about settings or anything else. Any software that is this bad right out of the box – I do not want. Period.

I feel stranded on this. I bought the product along with quite a few other products in April, installed the product on my machine (after following up with customer service via chat because a digital serial number was not issued with my purchase).

After I contacted customer service, I was provided with a download link and instructions but the product was never executed with a valid serial number. Although I purchased the product, I now do not have security coverage because according to Trend Micro, the existing serial number has expired.

The product serial should have been good for 12 months. I just bought the product this past April and installed it on one of the devices I purchased in June. It is after 11 p. m. and no one helpful is available to assist me in resolving this problem.

I’m very disappointed in how this has gone.

I’ve been using a chain, which was a hassle to wind on/off each time. I love using the D lock instead. It’s so much easier. It was easy to install and doesn’t weigh too much. I didn’t receive the rubber tips to cover the ends of the bolts, which would have been appreciated because I’ve been cycling in the rain and am concerned about rust.

Ordered one of these each for the teens’ bikes as needed something a bit longer in the shank to lock to our front railings – this does the trick. Also great with the number combo as the kids hadn’t been using a U-lock (instead choosing a lightweight chain lock) because they were too lazy to get the key out for our other U-locks, despite a spate of bike thefts on our street.

The holder was a bit big and awkward to fit to my daughters’ bike in a place that doesn’t get in her way while cycling, so she will probably just put it in her bag or leave it at home when she’s out riding.

Have only been using for a week, but the lock was v easy to set and it is easy to put on and take off the bike, as opposed to our old U-lock with a key which was very fiddly to lock and unlock. Hope it holds up! Great service from Tredz as usual.

Dont know if anyone actually uses this for a bicycle. In terms of bicycle use, i personally wont use this based on preference. Its huge, heavy to carry and just doesnt look like something a rider could carry on them or the bicycle.

Not for me.

Let me start by saying, that I wholeheartedly recommend this product for amateur electronics enthusiasts. Those who research Clamp Meters, will find comments both praising and criticising this meter.

Here’s the kicker, both are true. I will get to specifics, but important things to consider are, valve for money and relevance to your area of interest. One article I read which included this meter, compared 5 clamp meters, and concluded by recommending the most expensive of them as the best.

I found that to be disingenuous. They were correct that the most expensive provided the most accurate readings, however, you pay for the privilege. The UT-210E is a good, low cost, general purpose tool.

It will give you AC & DC Amp readings to a precision of 10mA on the 2A setting. In circumstances where readings of 1mA or lower are required, I recommend cutting the connection & inserting an in line meter.

I believe this to be a reasonable recommendation, when the alternative is to pay an order of magnitude more for a more accurate readout from a clamp meter. The UT-210E is reasonable on battery life, size, weight, range of functionality, accuracy & price.

The cons are the previously mentioned precision on clamp readings, the fact that it defaults to AC readings, where DC would be moreconvenient for the majority of users, and the more annoying characteristic, that it needs to be zeroed often, practically between each reading.

I point out that zeroing is performed at the touch of a button; hardly an arduous imposition. At this price point, everyone can afford to have a clamp meter. That is the most persuasive argument in favour of the UT-210E.

Plus: Great features, especially having inductive DC amps is a bonus. It’s also very small and portable, and looks and feels good. Rotary switch and leads feel quality. Minus: The display takes over a second or two to display whatever the current voltage you are reading is, so it lags behind real time.

This can be a problem when diagnosing circuits with intermittent problems, for example, if the voltage comes on but then goes off again in less than 2 or 3 seconds, the display will “move” and show activity, but no numbers will be displayed.

So you can only guess or “assume” what the voltage might have been when the display moved, but unless the voltage stays on, this meter will not quickly stabalize and give you a reading. If the circuit you are measuring has stable voltage (or no voltage) for more than two or three seconds, then this isn’t a problem, other than waiting for the couple seconds to stabilize.

Most brand name American meters, like Fluke, Fieldpiece, UEI, etc, read much quicker.

Nice small and for its price very well built. I can not compare Amp reading as my vintage clamp meter was ‘borrowed indefinitely’. But the voltage metering is as accurate as my professional multi-meter.

However – the Amp reading is less than 1 % off the amp reading of the gauge in my solar system. Only improvement I did is making the indent dot in the settings dial white. As it comes its a hit to set in the correct mode.

But it was an easy ‘fix’ so still left 5 stars !!.

Probably about as heavy a lock as I’d be willing to carry around for a bicycle but it is nice and solid and not overly big. I keep my bike inside when not in use but the supplied cable feels sturdy enough I would feel ok leaving it locked outside for long periods.

Because the cable is pretty sold too it is a fair bit of extra weight but if you need that security that’s a good thing. A decent lock for a bicycle, looks good and while still significantly heavier than some other locks this one isn’t too much (without the cable) for casual cycling while still having that extra strength.

I placed this ONGUARD confidently on my new and very expensive Cannondale Scalple bicycle with a Lefty Fork, that I converted to be a high performance E-bike (Electric bicycle with a top speed of about 42 mph without pedal assistance).

This excellent lock is very secure and almost fool proof. I lock the bike with the “DT U-Lock” through the very expensive motorized rear rim and frame then run the “Cinch Loop (It is much longer than 4″, possibly 14″, maybe a typo)” cable thru the frame and front Lefty rim.

For a little added security I placed an audible alarm on the the U portion of the lock that rests on the almost $500. 00 lithium battery so if one moves the lock it will sound an ear piercing siren. It is Velcro-ed with industrial strength Velcro to the battery case so one must apply force to jar it and set off the alarm.

After all even the best locks keep the honest, honest and only deter the the dishonest. I also added a small hidden GPS tracking system to find the smart thieves and myhot bicycle (daily transportation).

Yet this protection system with the On Guard Bulldog at the center of it offers the best security that is available, It is actually more secure than Low-Jack, I just hope that someday soon the ON Guard Bulldog will come with all the features I have added to it.

All said and done I love this lock and recommend it to everyone. PLEASE NOTE: if you want to steal my bike you have to get by the BULL DOG first!.

This is a top quality product to lock your bicycle frame and wheel in a public area for short term. Perfect for my new bike, I can rest assured that the bike is secure while I do the groceries or visit a friend.

It locks the frame and wheels and impervious to all but the most sophisticated attacks. The compact size and frame mount ensure ease of transportation. The lock, cable and keys are made to the highest standard and the main key even has a tiny light built in.

If you need to lock your bike up in a public area for a few hours this is a wonderful product, although I wouldn’t leave my bike outside in public overnight because thieves know all the tricks ad no lock is indestructible.

Learn how to use the lock correctly and I’m sure you too will be happy with this product. I recommend this for bikes valued at between $500 and $1500 as stated on the package. The D-lock is secured on both sides and has a good rubber coating to prevent scratching.

The size makes it difficult to break with a hammer and the keyway and keys are designed similar to a car, this extremely difficult to pick.

I have had BitDefender and Now Bit BOX 1( I believe) have had it for 3 yrs. I absolutely Love the BOX I have not had Any issues what so even and when I was setting it up I called customer service and they Were extremely Helpful.

I asked if I needed Bitdefender for my MAC separate from the Box and was told No. as the Box coverage stayed with me when I traveled. SO I don’t know what Happened with Ken but I know I have not had ANY ISSUES! BRAVO BITDEFENDER Bit Box! !.

Great security device (hardware/software) that covers all our family devices, including IOT’s (TV’s, etc. ). So far I have not even had to reboot or power cycle the box, up time is 100% online all the time.

The BD Central hub software provides a lot of oversight of devices on our Wi-Fi network The included BD Total Solution software installed on our iPhones has kept us from exposure to unsafe websites more than once!.

– The installation experience for me was straight-forward. Although, I could see someone who doesn’t work with networking having a tougher time getting it setup (think Wifi and setting it to bridge mode).

– Once setup, you don’t need to “babysit” it. – I haven’t noticed any reduced internet bandwidth issue while this is monitoring my network, so that is a good thing and something I was worried about.

I’ve used Eset NOD32 forever on all of our machines. It has an excellent configurable firewall and in general doesn’t slow down or mess with our Windows computers’ routine operation. We’ve never had any kind of virus compromise our computers with NOD32 in place.

If you watch for sales, you can buy multi-machine or multi-year US licenses for very little money. Buy from B&H to make sure you receive genuine US licenses!.

A nice, compact unit that powers my computer & monitor long enough to manually shut down during our frequent blackouts. Only comes with specific desktop computer power leads so I had to purchase additional leads however this is to be expected on an international product.

Whilst the UPS had not been fully tested in a real power fail event, the included monitoring software had stopped monitoring on a few occasions. I’ve selected to shut down the iMac after 1 minute and then keep the wifi router and phones going.

Buying total defense security for my internet was the best decision a made to protect my my personal internet usage. There so many hackers out there and I will be completely protected against them .
