20 Best Under Eye Cream Drugstore (2023 Updated)

One day into using this product I noticed my eyes lids itching and dry. I assumed it was allergies. Two days later after putting on some before bed, I woke up early morning and had itchy hive like blotches all over my face and neck.

I assumed it was just stress. Two days after that I looked at the patterns on my face exactly corresponding to where I rubbed the most cream. That’s when I realized I was having a severe allergic reaction.

It’s been two day since I used it and the itchy hives all over my head are just receding. If this is what regaining youth means, I’d rather look like an aged corpse than go through this again. My face, neck will take another week to fully heal.

I’m in my forties, never write reviews, and have tried all kinds of eye creams over the years and spent a lot of money in the process! My most recent non-starter was a premium organic brand which for £60 produced absolutely no results.

I usually get bored and either chuck them or leave them to gather dust on the shelf. I bought Revitalift on a whim and it’s a revelation. The cream itself feels really beautiful and moisturising, so much so, I actually enjoy putting it on.

It sinks in nicely and feel comforting somehow (I know that sounds quite strange!) Over the last few months (using it most days) my under eyes look much fresher, less dark, and I believe a little less wrinkly.

I won’t use anything else and would highly recommend.

Im a guy and I chose this because of what it said it could do. Remove the dark rings from under ones eyes. My doctor told me not too long ago that blood pools under the eyes and that causes the dark coloration.

I looked like a Halloween mask with pale skin and dark circles, which is cool for that Goth look. But when you dont want to scare children, and you really dont want to use those concealers that everyone else is using, this works.

Fast and well. I guess it will depend on the person and the age and skin type, but Im a 61 year old man whos had deep purple under his eyes for the past 30 years or so. Its not 100% but its 85 to 90+% reduced the rings to zero.

Youre going to have some form of ring because its an eye socket, but the discoloration is gone. Its also a wrinkle repair cream and it works fine for that too, as it moisturizes your skin under your eyes.

This stuff hovers between $9 and $11 on Home Essentials Direct as of this review and its pretty much a little miracle in a bottle. And thats no joke. If you suffer from dark circles, the packaging says give it a month.

But youll see results far sooner. Count on it. Like I said fellas, made for the ladies, but skin is skin and it works on guys too.

I’m going to start by saying that I’ve tried all sort of eye creams. I got tired of Olay because it did nothing for my under eye bags. This cream has been a magical experience. My eye bags have become lighter (they were extremely dark) and have decreased significantly.

I’m shocked as to this little eye cream. I’m also still on my first bottle. I’m going to order a second one. It does feel like a burning sensation but whatever, I’m willing to tolerate it. I first wash my face, apply eye cream, then apply Olay Regenerist Collagen Peptide, then apply more eye cream (just a bit under each eye).

That’s my nightly routine. In the morning I do same but with Olay day cream.

To be honest, this product is not worth it. It is too pricey and I did not notice any difference. I used it as directed in the instructions but nothing improved. I would not buy again.

Was looking to try a product to help minimize wrinkles and is anti aging, and i found it! I use this product with an under eye wand just because it is quite thick. A little goes a long way. I saw results in minutes! I was skeptical at first but now I keep buying it.

Until im willing to try another product, this will be my go to.

Overall, I found this eye cream to be quite nice and I do notice a bit of a brightening effect under my eyes. I am lucky enough to say that I don’t have any crazy dark under eyes or bags, but the little bit of purple that is present does seem to brighten up a bit after using this.

I do feel a tiny bit of irritation actually in my eyeball after I put this stuff on. It isn’t painful or irritating enough to discourage me from using this product. I assume it is from the acids that are present in this cream.

Not really sure, but it hasn’t caused any problems. It’s just something that I noticed. I think this works for me because I just needed something simple to get into the groove of using an eye cream on a regular basis.

I wanted to start the habit now so I can thank myself later. This does a great job of moisturizing, as in it doesn’t feel heavy at all and it leaves the skin feeling very soft. No weird smells. No rashes.

No acne. I like this product and it’s meeting my needs for an eye cream at this point in my life :).

I use Neutrogena’s Rapid Dark Circle Repair Eye Cream in the morning and Healthy Skin Eye Cream at night. I’ve only been using Neutrogena’s products for a few months now and it’s been WOW, why didn’t I try these products a long time ago.

These two eye creams are just a fraction of the cost of other eye creams I have used in the past and I would say they work 2 – 3x better than the more expensive brands. I’m am totally hooked on Neutrogena’s products and hope to try more in the future.

I have combination skin, which makes finding the perfect skin care product extremely hard, and I’ve found that this product works wonders for me. I love this face lotion because it banishes dry skin without leaving behind residue that would make my skin look greasy.

I also love the broad spectrum protection this product offers. It protects against sunburns as well as the sun rays that cause premature aging and skin cancer. This is the perfect face lotion for me, and I definitely recommend this product, because it would work wonders for every skin type.

Effectiveness This lightly hydrating face lotion does an amazing job for my skin. It keeps it well hydrated, banishing dry skin, and it doesn’t leave any residue behind, and doesn’t make me look like a grease ball.

This is a fairly pricey product, but it is worth it! I purchased a bundle with this and the Stem Cellular Antiwrinke serum and enjoyed both products. The texture is light but very hydrating, definitely a pleasant experience to use.

When the eye cream ran out, I didn’t replace it right away and instead used other eye creams in my collection. After about two to three weeks I noticed my eyes were just not looking as well rested and bright as they had been, but I didn’t make the connection.

Months passed without using this product. Then I purchased this again on sale, used it for a few weeks, noticed an improvement with the way my eyes were looking, and it all clicked. It is my “holy grail” eye cream and I repurchase it regularly!.

I had hopes for this product and it’s line but was disappointed. I used this product for several months and went through 2 bottles but my under eye skin felt dry highlighting lines. Ended up switching to another brand which works better.

Also, the packaging is misleading. You think you are getting a full container but the bottom 1/3 is empty space. Same goes for moisturizer, serums and retinol containers. Not buying Juice Beauty in the future.

Give it at least a month and then if you touch you under eye skin you will be pleasantly surprised how smooth and hydrated it feels. That comes hand in hand with making your fine lines less visible. I wouldn’t say this is a good pick for people who struggle with dark circles under the eyes since I didn’t feel like it would be brightening (it doesn’t even claim to be).

I don’t think this would be enough for a mature skin. 30s and 40s can probably benefit from it. I didn’t feel any irritation nor burning. It soaks in quickly and behaved well under the makeup or concealer.

I am giving 4 stars because it is just not the best out of the best and I have tried other eye creams that made me more excited and brought even more results. But hey, at least it is doing something which is more than most of the other eye creams! #eyecream #juicebeauty.

This is a wonderful product! If you’re on the fence because of the price, I highly recommend it, you won’t regret. I have super dry skin in winter and it pronounces my fine lines and gets flaky on my lids, yuck.

This stuff soothes and smoothes like nothing else. Using this in combination with a StriVectin anti wrinkle and it has restored youth. Love this stuff, will definitely buy it again!.

This is by far the best eye cream I have ever used. I don’t see wrinkle reduction (I’m mid 50s). However I do see a reduction in under eye puffiness. Also the cream is lightweight and doesn’t sting if you accidentally get it in your eyes.

Great for under make up. I use it night and day. Faint scent, which is lovely. And absorbs into the skin quickly. Every time this goes on sale at Myer, I stock up.

I have been using this for a little over 2 weeks now and it has made such a difference. I have real deep, defined lines under my eyes. Using this product I can tell a huge difference, it has really brought my eyes back to life.

I purchased Vital Eyes since I didn’t have a good eye area regimen. I love the ball applicator that comes with the cream. Massaging the lower eye area to relieve any puffiness definitely helps.

I got a deluxe sample of this eye cream in my Sephora gratis months ago and I’ve been in love with it! I have very dark under eye circles and my eyelids get puffy. This eye cream upon contact immediately depuffs, cools and soothes and hydrated the eye area.

I have noticed my eye area looks much brighter and smoother now as well! I had a client try this eye cream and within a couple seconds the under eye bag she applied it to deflated and looked much tighter/smooth and hydrated.

I’ve been using this nearly twice a day for three weeks now and the skin under my eyes doesn’t look nearly as dry and “crepey “ as before, but rather nice and hydrated. It is very hydrating and wears well under makeup; Makeup doesn’t slide off of it.

I love that it has no scent and doesn’t run into my eyes like other even expensive products do. I like it much better than an expensive name brand product that is half the size and 3x as much! I love the price and the large size jar you get for that price.

The dispensing of the product is very unique and really helps avoid waste of product. I only give it 4 stars because if this gel touches an area after doing a mask and toner it burns and stings really bad.

I just have to be cautious that I make sure the mask and toner don’t get too near the under eye area and the the gel stays strictly in the under eye area. It also does concern me that on the label it warns to avoid direct contact with eyes, and if this happens to rinse eyes with water.

Using a product so close to my eyes with that warning label does make me feel more uneasy about it.

I’ve received this by the start of January 2020, and tested it for two weeks, as my single night routine product. It’s texture is somewhere in between a serum and a moisturizer. The application is easy and feels good on the skin, leaving it feeling smooth.

I’ve only experienced a light tingling around the eye area on the first couple of nights. After that no irritation at all. It kept my skin moisturized and soft. Regarding the abri-aging effects it’s hard to tell what this product did, because I have been using retinoids fire more than 3 months before testing it; that said, it is equally effective as my previous routine, as I saw no worsening of my skin condition.

It is a little too heavy for my very oily skin, since I had a few micro pimples show up during my trial. But I’d say it’s great if I alternate it with lighter treatments, or maybe in winter. I’ll definitely keep using it for these situations, it for retinal.

This Neutrogena rapid wrinkle repair oil burned my face, I had bumps all over my face, my face was swollen beyond recognition and my face and eyes itched non stop for over 3 weeks. It was the worst experience I’ve had from a wrinkle repair product.

I really didn’t have many wrinkles but I do now. This caused wrinkles where I didn’t have wrinkles before. I am so upset. My dermatologist told me to stop use of and do not use Neutrogena again. I had to go to Wound Care for treatment.

I once thought of Neutrogena products as mild. Now I know they will hurt you and it is a terrible pain. I suffered. I could barely see. My face burned and hurt and itched for a solid 3 weeks. Now my skin is rough and scaly.

I have to put Vaseline on my face to get any relief. I’m glad to wear a mask so no one can see how my face looks now. I’m embarrassed to go out in public. Wound Care was horrified and took pictures of my face to warn others.

Please don’t put this on your skin. I don’t think my face will ever be the same. I lost 10 years aging in 3 weeks.

I’ve been using this eye cream for about a year now. I love it. It’s improved existing lines around my eyes, and from what I can tell it has slowed down the progression of any new lines. I’m 35 years old, and all the women in my family tend to start aging fairly young.

I’ve tried a few night creams and other serums,(that were WAY out of my budget) but honestly, even if I could afford to use those products daily, I would still choose this one! I also think this cream slightly improves dark circles.

Works great under make up, but make sure you apply to a freshly cleansed face! If you have any kind of makeup residue left over from the day before, the product will crumble up and slouf off your face.

This serum works better than any other serum I’ve used, including ones that cost four times as much. I love this serum! I just turned 52 (how did that happen??) and I have taken very good care of my skin, but I have a few lines on my forehead and between my brows.

I also had the beginnings of some fine lines around my mouth that I wanted to deal with. I was a smoker for 29 years and quit 7 years ago. I started using Rapid Wrinkle Repair serum and within a week I could see a very slight improvement on my forehead.

I had a little dryness during the first two weeks of starting the serum, but to me that just meant it was doing something. After the first month I started to see my forehead lines really starting to fade.

It has now been about 5 months and the lines between my brows and on my forehead are only noticeable if I’m using a magnifying mirror!! The lines around my lips are mostly gone! I have large pores on my cheeks, near my nose and I was surprised that this serum seems to have made them much smaller also.

Just received my Geologie 0. 3% Retinol Night Cream. My first night cream in almost a decade. I can honestly review with truth that I can and do see and feel a difference. My face is noticably clearer and I feel like there is an afterglow effect during the day from using 0.

3% Retinol Night Cream. I didn’t use it too much at first to ease into the retinol so I don’t burn my face in the sun but I can and do see a difference about after one whole month after starting the 0.

It’s been slow going but this is truly working for me. I had deep circles that came in with age and nothing was working or it was making me break out. This however , worked gradually, first helping my lid area , then getting rid of fine lines and wrinkles to then smoothing the under eye and finally evening out circled and reducing my under eye darkness – I still have what couldn’t be covered with makeup now can.

I have been using this morning and night for 6 weeks , still have plenty left in the 1 Oz tube and I plan to keep going. That said we are all different , I believed my under eye to be age related die to a loss of volume which there is little to come back from but I just wanted to give one product a full on chance and I am reporting that for me it’s working! I don’t typically use product on my face as I’m prone to rashes, as I have sensitive skin – especially around the eye area. I received a couple samples and was extremely doubtful that I’d notice any difference, and was pretty sure I’d feel the usual burning sensation from having product on my skin and have to wash it off.

I was surprised that it didn’t cause any sort of reaction whatsoever, even after several days of use. I noticed a visible difference after the very first use – like there was more volume to the skin around my eyes.

This is such a great eye cream. It has the perfect consistency, not too thin and not too thick. It easily absorbs into the delicate skin around my eyes. My eyes area feels soft, smooth and hydrated. I have been using it for almost a month and I definitely can see a slight difference in the skin around my eyes.

This kit provides a lot of hydration to the under eye. It is cooling when you put the strips underneath the eyes. The skin under my eyes were quite dry, however once I started using this product there was an immediate difference.

The skin is no longer dry and I don’t look as worn out. I feel it has helped my appearance. Definitely recommend this product.

I used a sample size of creme for about 2 weeks. I did not notice much difference so far. This creme is in beige color with no scent and the texture is very light which I like. It is easy to apply and absorbs well.

Maybe the time is just too short to notice much difference yet. I like most of their products but not all. I think this eye creme is just ok at least did not irratate my eyes but not standing out compared to the other eye creme I have used so far.

I use eye creams good for eye sensitivity, because if I don’t, my eyes get dry, flaky, irritated/itchy and inflamed, and also the skin above my eyes (eyelids) and under my eyes (where we get dark circles and wrinkles) swell up.

This eye cream helps with all these issues, and you wouldn’t even notice that my eyes suffer from all these issues. It’s not irritating in the slightest, so I would recommend 100% to anyone that suffers with similar issues, or that simply prefers an eye cream with no aromatics.

The only reason I gave this eye cream 4 stars instead of 5 is the texture and the way it feels on the skin; it feels medicinal and sometimes leaves a bit of residue on the skin, so personally I prefer to use it only on the night time before going to sleep.

I have been using this product for almost a year now. It absorbs well if you apply just the right amount. If you apply more than the skin needs, it gets some white residue that you need to rubber off.

I only use it before bed, and one tube lasted almost a year. I never expected a massive change in my wrinkles lines. Instead, I hoped that the product would slow the ageing, and I believe it did the job.

I enjoyed using this eye cream. I have been using it for 9 months. Not a large amount of cream must be warmed up between the fingers, and then applied to the skin of the eyelids, otherwise it is poorly applied.

The cream perfectly moisturizes and nourishes the skin, removes the effect of tired eyes, smoothes the relief under the eyes, removes fine wrinkles, retouches creases in the corner of the eye.

This cream is amazing at sloughing off the top layer of skin without ANY redness or irritation at all! It just leaves the skin soft and moisturized but lightly takes off that dull top layer, and does it pretty quickly, maybe in about an hour or so.

I would use as a night cream or if you plan to be home for a bit to let it do its job. You can then lightly wipe off or rinse, and then apply make-up, but I wouldn’t use it directly under make-up because of the gentle exfoliating properties.

I absolutely LOVE this product!! Please keep making it and don’t change the formula!.

I’m highly sensitive to many skin care products but not this one. I appreciate there’s no fragrance; I don’t have burning or irritation of my eyes with this product. I haven’t seen a dramatic reduction in wrinkles or puffiness but if I don’t use this product, the skin under my eyes get very dry.

This works as well as name-brand products. No eye cream can effectively eliminate wrinkles, bags and puffiness but this does help with dryness beneath my eyes. 5 stars for price, quality and no fragrance.

This is also suitable for males; my husband uses this daily and loves it as much as I do.

I am ordering two more jars today. When I applied this cream to my face and throat, it has a refreshing cool like feeling and is not a heavy cream. Takes only a small dab on my fingertip, when applied under my eyes.
