Best Ufc Game For Ps4 (2024 Updated)

Good game and a well needed improvement over the 3rd installment, but not without its flaws. Gameplay took a step up and the direction of the game is more so like UFC 2 with character customization ranging from relatively realistic to over the top ridiculous.

The bugs however are still here, maybe a bit few and far between but they are present. All in all a step forward for the series and fun for those who just want to pick up and play the closest thing you’ll get to an MMA big studio game.

Be aware that it is not perfect and bugs do occur.

I’m actually an MMA fighter, and I got this game to live the dream. My main con is unlike UFC 3 there’s not much emphasis at training at particular gyms, so unfortunately you kind of go through story mode training with some made up guy.

I get it, I’m also an attorney so licensing would probably be an issue. But, it focuses mostly on like the story of Masvidal indirectly as you kind of make your way through the streets to the cage in story mode.

I think besides my major gripe, not many people besides MMA fighters would care lol. It’s more of the same from UFC 3, but there seems to be more of an emphasis on button combinations then before. The pros, it’s pretty accurate to how it is to be a real fighter including using social media to get fights and a buzz.

You could be a terrible fighter, but with enough social media stuff you could actually be pretty successful. Must buy for UFC lovers.

I’ve been having UFC 4 for over half a year now and there are things i like but some things i don’t. The striking/kicking in this game is fun and i like how it feels when you have someone hurt or stunned.

but the thing i absolutely cannot stand in this game is the ground game. The controls are terrible, the ground and pound doesn’t feel responsive, and it needs to be revamped for the next UFC game. This game is still enjoyable and fun to play vs friends or against online opponents but it can still use some work.

Still my favorite version of the game. I love that it has al the characters. But I think it could use some major updates. And it’s pretty slow in reacting. like it’s not close to real life like other games.

It glitches a lot also. And not every fighter on the game can do every combo. which is annoying. But overall this is fun to play. And I like it better than 4.

Great rally game. Plays pretty smooth on the xbox one s. I noticed on a couple stages there is some lag going on. The stages when lag happens is not often enough to not be enjoyable. Usually happens on stages with multiple cars racing together.

Single time races are flawless. Great graphics. Beautiful stages. Fun stages. Nice real looking and feeling cars.

I PURCHASE THIS GAME BECAUSE I HAD THE BRUCE LEE BUNDLE PURCHASED SEPARATE. I LIKE THE GRAPHICS AND THE CONTROL FOR FIGHTING IS MANAGEABLE. BUT I’M A TRUE BRUCE LEE FAN AND WHEN YOU ADD HIM IN AS A FIGHTER, THEY MAKE HIM LOOK WEAK AS A FIGHTER.

Great game great graphics love playing career and multiplayer highly recommend buying this game you will not be disappointed . Spectators are a little annoying but definitely one of the best ufc games

The package was sent in very good condition in a timely manner. As for the game the striking controls are pretty close to the same but the ground game is completely different. I’ve only played it once since it came.

I think I’ll get used to it. The first game had a bug where if someone took our back you kept going from being mounted to back control and repeat and you couldn’t get out. Hopefully there aren’t any bugs like that.

Gorgeous graphics; you can tell the team put a lot of hard work into this game! There’s still a lot to be improved on but by itself it’s a pretty rockin’ fighting game and leaps and bounds ahead of it’s predecessor.

First time playing a UFC game and it’s pretty average. The story mode is what caught my attention and it is your typical story line of starting at the top and moving up which I don’t mind. There could be improvements on the customization of your character, because every character looks pretty awful.

Fighting mechanics are solid. I would recommend getting it if there is not anything else to play!.

Is a great game although needs to update characters. Conor is hard to beat on this version! I enjoy it and still play it daily. Has great music and amazing graphics.

So before I start, take into consideration I’m a little bias. Huge MMA fan regardless. But that being said I’ve played every MMA game released so far and this is my favorite. They put so much work into improving the realism of the stamina/combat system.

And made ground fighting a lot less complicated and easier. If you want a great competitive fighting game, you’ll love UFC 3.

Love the difficulty in the grappling. takes a while to get into the controls. but it would be boring if it was too easy. You can button bash your way in career mode. but you need to get technical to be champion and stay champion.

Great graphics great commentary add to the overall excitement of the game. 9/10.

If you like MMA you will love this game. It’s brilliant standup is dynamic and grappling is more technical than ever. Not an easy game to master but it’s the journey that counts! Very rewarding once you get used to the game mechanics!.

They really made a mess with UFC 3. Poor sound for striking, awkward canned knockouts and knock-downs, worse grapple system, very poor AI – especially when they mirror exactly what you’re doing. It’s like one controller is controlling both fighters.

Do yourself a favour and but UFC 2 instead.

This game is so realistic it’s scary. This game is hard I would recommend for anyone that likes a challenge. This isn’t like where you can just punch punch. You have to learn moves for different parts of your body.

Can create your own person or you can fight with pre-made characters but if you beat the game you unlock Mike Tyson and Jet Li and many more.

It’s definitely the best trials game of the lot. Having more choices of bikes and extra stuff to play with. Loads of tracks. My only gripe is it’s difficult imediately and having to do the same races again to boost your xp to get better bikes is not that great, Can’t seem to play online much.

Other than that if you are a trials fan it is worth getting. Patience and determination is very much needed for this. Once your up with all the bikes it gets better.

It’s an entertaining game for those that like a little bit of strategy with their huge jumps. Learning how to manipulate your speed and your weight on the bike is key to enjoying this entire product.

Very addictive with a good flow early on and an endless supply of subtle skills to be learned throughout. Huge number of tracks and options. Lack of split-screen multiplayer is only downside, but we play 3 faults = pass the controller on to the next person to keep 2 or more players engaged.

Like most people, there are just certain games that stick with us. This is that game for me. It’s what got me interested in the sport in the first place. I used to own it when I was a teenager, but I no longer had a copy.

So began my quest to find another copy. Local stores didn’t carry it, I don’t like to support large corporations like Amazon (they only had region locked versions anyways. ) I stumbled across this site, placed my order and received it within the span of four days.

All complete, manual, perfect case, disc, everything. All in all a great experience. I’ll come here first whenever I need something again.

It’s definitely a good game in it’s own way, but I feel like career mode rely’s too heavily on stock footage to really immerse you, and it gets kind of annoying after a while. The training is largely an improvement over previous games, but there are still some training sessions that just don’t make a lot of sense and end up feeling rigged against you because what they’re looking for isn’t clearly stated, not to mention that it glitches out sometimes.

The biggest issue I have is that the vast majority of stand up moves are flashy BS only, rather than the deep variety of moves that were available in previous games. All of these issues are forgivable, and it is a fairly good game, but I found myself playing it a lot less than UFC 2010 or UFC 3, both of which tied difficulty to the amount of points you could get, which meant that the better you were at the game, the more accurately you could create your ideal fighter.

That dynamic is largely removed from this game. You can literally play on easy and learn every move in the game no problem, most of which you won’t even want because they’re too slow or use too much stamina versus the moves you already know.

so all in all i’d say this is a great UFC game. i can already say it’s the best one in the series that is for sure. with that said though, this game does fall short on A LOT of things (could just be because it’s their first UFC for next gen or the fact that it’s the fight night makers firts time making a UFC game) some of those things are, the move list for sure it doesn’t really matter what “style” u pick to fight as because in the end u learn every move every “style”/”fighter” can use as well as u can eventually max you’re stats to 100 so it kills the purpose of even having a “style” to pick from.

also some of the moves themselves are not polished,as this game does deliver on the whole characters don’t slide and it feels more real there are still a lot of times in the game where you can tell you’re still playing a video game and it “feel” like a video game like when u go for a spinning kick and someone goes to take u down and it just glitches and both people bounce back kind of thing.

my main flaw is no women creation what-so-ever (which was my whole point to buying this game being a female) i thought UFC was past that point and the females were supposed to be getting credit etc but once again just thrown under the rug like females in UFC still don’t belong.

i wanted to play career mode and beat ronda for the title but couldn’t even do that and with the roster being so small for female fighters (because there were a lot more even in the UFC they could have added but for w/e reasons didn’t) it makes perfect sense for the to make a carrer mode with females because you’d have randomly generated females etc like they do in male career mode and so it would tech boost the roster for female fighters rather than have what i believe it’s like 7 maybe? if that.

so it’s a good game overall but it does have a lot of things it could have improved on and a lot of things that SHOULD be in a NEXT GEN UFC game but they aren’t. they said when women entered the UFC it was a big thing and and it was like a BIG part of UFC history yet they couldn’t add a female career mode or create a female in their game? it’s for that reason i give this game a 4 out of 5 stars because my whole reason to buying this game was i thought we’d be able to do a female career mode.

sadly u can’t even make a female fighter period.

Online is my problem cause I can pound on a guy head body doesn’t matter and their head or body never goes red. One guy I faced not matter how many times I pushed the button combo to shoot in for takedown my guy would never shoot in he just stood there but my opponent could shoot in for the takedown whenever he wanted.

Couple of fights I’ve had to fight against the glitch to get the win. Decision losses are annoying me cause you can simple win by doing nothing but takedowns even though you have knocked the guy down and rocked the guy all 3 rounds the opponent can still will decision by doing nothing but takedowns that makes no sense.

If they would fix this online problem the game would be more fun online but this seems to happen a lot around 10pm and onwards at night. This also happens a lot in the brown belt division and black division no idea why? The game is worth getting if you don’t mind these problems at these times of the day it’s either the glitch or hackers who don’t want a loss on their record too bad it doesn’t have seperate division for the weight classes like UFC 3 did.

The submission game in UFC 3 is still better then this game I hope on the next game they bring back PRIDE mode cause that was a lot of fun.

I’m enjoying this a lot more than I thought I would. I own both an Xbox One and a PS4. The graphics are much smoothr and less glitchy or “sticky” on the PS4. Everyone I’ve played with has been pretty impressed with the graphics quality and realism of the game.

Being a huge MMA fan, I think about 80% of the fighters look exactly like they do in real life. The other 20% are amusing too though. Career mode includes entry in a TUF tournament, upping your skills through training camps and each fight needs a certain number of achievements in camp.

You can usually finish camp in 10-15 minutes to move on to your next fight. And of course, you can freely fight when not in career mode. I have no regrets buying this game.
