20 Best Tinted Moisturizer With Spf For Acne Prone Skin (2023 Updated)

So this will be long, but hang in there. I have an extensive skin cancer history in my family, so I’ve seen the horrors of excessive sun exposure and lack of protection. I always ran away from the sun and tend to be very consistent with sunscreen application.

I tried so many sunscreens out there. This is by far the best tinted one! I do have dry skin, as soon as it put it on I do look glowey, it takes a couple of minutes to absorb, but it’s not sticky at all.

After it’s absorbed I feel it gives a very natural look, I felt it more on the matte side, but I think it’s because of my own dry skin. My main problem with tinted sunscreen is that we tend to underapply it, which is a problem.

I didn’t feel a challenge with this one at all! You can be generous and cover everything up, at the same time it does offer a decent coverage (and I’m hardcore freckled). You can build up the coverage, but that’s me as a person that’s not so into makeup.

I got so many compliments on my skin texture the first day I used it! And even though I’m pasty white, the tint is somehow universal, I just looked a little tanned (but to be honest, anyone looks tanned next to me, my husband is Russian and I manage to look even more pasty than he does).

So, if you had the patience to read until now: I took my time to write all of this down because sunscreen is a matter of overall health, and it’s hard to find good products, specially because we have to reapply so often to actually be protected.

This would be perfect for someone looking for some tint and looking a little more polished, regardless of your face type or skin tone. Even though I have about 10 bottles of sunscreen around on a regular basis, this is my new favorite.

I bought this after watching Dr. Dray suggest this on her YouTube. I initially had high hopes, but after going through two bottles (was subscribed so the second one came automatically) I find that this just isn’t the best option for me.

Let me say that if you do not use a beauty blender to apply this sunscreen it will sit quite thick and greasy on the skin, at least in my case. It takes hours for it to dry down Matte for me, so in the mean time my bangs continuously get stuck to my face resulting in my fine hair getting oily quickly When it does dry down or when it’s applied with a beauty blender, after a little while it makes the skin around my eyes feel tight and dry.

I also have very sensitive combination skin for reference. I will say majority of the time using this product it didn’t burn my eyes, but other times it did. I also wanted to add that I think this product gives me more blackheads and whiteheads, as I’ve noticed I get them a lot more now that I use this product.

Before I apply spf I make sure my skin is clean and hydrated, but by the end of day when wearing this my skin texture and pores become MUCH more accentuated I do love the tint, as it does provide some coverage, but ultimately I find that this spf feels like a thick comedogenic foundation.

Im glad many people have this as their holy grail, but I’m still on the hunt for mine! :).

The best thing about this product is that it simplifies my routine: moisturizer, foundation, and sunscreen. I really like that about this product. It does go on feeling a little oily but it seems to settle in fine after using it.

I’ve been using it almost every day for several months and haven’t run out yet so it also seems to last pretty well. Something that’s kind of nice is that the bottle is too big to fit in my toiletries carry on bag, but the outside of the bottle twists off and the inside bottle (plain white) fits.

Now let’s talk coverage on the foundation. In my opinion, this is the only area this product doesn’t quite meet my expectations. I love a light foundation, but I do want at least some coverage. This basically has no coverage.

It does warm my skin tone up a slightly, but that’s all. I think that’s fine if that’s what you’re looking for, but it’s so light I almost hesitate to call it a foundation. Overall, I still really like this product and probably will continue buying/using it.

I have been using this BB cream for as long as I can remember and it used to be slightly thicker (a little more coverage as a result) and blended in so easily with my palms and fingers. I just thought that the branding and bottle had changed but I was so disappointed when I used it to find it is oily and thin and I now have to use a brush to blend it in to finish my morning skin routine which I personally don’t like doing as I don’t like brushes really.

Also the original formula prevented me from breaking out and kept my skin glowy and flawless. This new one has made me break out so much more than I ever have done and I put that down to the oilyness of the new formula.

Really annoying as I bought two because there was a deal and I don’t even want to open the new one when this one runs out. Also, I find it doesn’t quite give you that coverage and can be patchy during the day after wearing it for longer than 2 hours.

Please bring back to old one!!!.

I have very light, fair, pale skin. I use shade porcelain foundation, always buy the lightest shades. I used to find it hard to buy a tinted moisturiser, as they would always be too dark or oxidise and go orange, not this one.

This seems to be made for me. It is lovely and smooth to apply and just looks like my own skin but better, with a glow. Obviously it doesn’t cover like a foundation, but is great for every day and for summer, for a no make up feel.

It moisturises well (I have combination skin). I feel my skin can breathe and is well protected from the elements. Please don’t ever discontinue or change this excellent product. I love it!.

Have been using this tinted moisturiser since it first came out years ago in the original gold tube. Have no idea why Boots keep reinventing their No7 range which no longer remotely resembles the original versions.

The new “Shield and Defend” colours and formula are just awful, as most of the reviews say here. I was recommended to use Medium Rich from the City Lights Medium Dark and the base colour is completely off – it’s very yellow and not a pleasant consistency either.

No7 is also becoming very expensive so I think I will be moving to a more reliably consistent brand I’m future. Boots – do you ever read these reviews? If so shame on you for not listening to the people who generate your profits – if it ain’t broke don’t fix it!.

This SPF BB cream isn’t terrible, if you have extremely dry skin it might work for you. I’ll probably use it up on days I’ll be at home, but overall it’s a miss for me. It’s very thick in texture, and does not absorb very well.

It leaves my skin extremely “dewy” and I find myself absorbing some of the shine with a tissue more than once after applying it. It feels heavy on the skin, which isn’t unusual for a mineral SPF but is particularly noticeable with this product.

The tint is fine for me, I find it has sufficient coverage to even my skin tone, and honestly it makes my face feel very soft and moisturized after I remove it. However the experience of wearing it isn’t all that enjoyable.

The scent isn’t unpleasant to me but it is quite strong. I prefer fragrance free products for my face.

Juice makes some really quality products. Their sunscreens were among some of the first I tried when I realized that I should be using spf every single day. That being said, there are some limits on mineral sunscreen.

It takes a moment to sink in and leaves a littttttle bit of a white cast, but that can be buffed away by continously rubbing the lotion into the skin. Juice Beauty’s mineral sunscreens are wonderful and I genuinely trust this brand with my face/skin.

Just be aware that there are some pitfalls to all mineral sunscreens and this product is no exception. I would buy this again and it’s great to have as an option, especially if you’re trying to avoid chemical sunscreens.

i have this in sand, and it is almost perfect. it applies well over my morning skincare routine, has the perfect amount of zinc oxide, and protects my skin very well. it doesn’t claim to be water resistant, but i’ve found that it stays on very well for me through a bit of sweat, and that is impressive.

however, it bothers me kind of a lot that they choose to add two citrus essential oils to this formula. it smells awful, and creates the possibility of photo-dermatitis to occur when the sun hits this formula on our faces.

that is just ridiculous. photo-dermatitis is gnarly, y’all. if juice beauty were to make a version of this without the essential oils, and not include any other fragrant ingredients, i would purchase this forever and it would be my main daily sunscreen throughout the year.

as it stands, i only feel comfortable using this during fall and winter since the uv index is much less intense during these times of year.

I’m on my third full-size jar of the Perricone MD Acyl-Glutathione Rejuvenating Moisturizer. I use it at night on top of the Perricone MD Lifting and Firming Serum. The performance is excellent and my skin looks gorgeous in the morning! So soft and plump without any greasiness, that’s why I keep repurchasing.

I’ve observed a couple of things about it that bug me a little. First one is the smell, it does smell faintly of ammonia. In all fairness, the smell does dissipate fairly quickly. Perricone are known to have a few skincare products that are a bit smelly; they’ve gotten better at hiding active ingredient smells over the years but this one is still a lil stinky.

Secondly it tends to pill (or ball up) if I use too much of it over the Lifting and Firming serum. I don’t think it’s acceptable to have two products of the same brand not play well together, hopefully they’ll fix this in the future.

Perricone does say to let the serum fully dry before applying a moisturizer; but I’ve waited over an hour between applications with the same result. I have other Perricone moisturizers (Neuropeptide Cream and Hyaluronic Intensive Moisturizer) that don’t ball up over the serum, so it has to be an ingredient in the Rejuvenating Moisturizer.

In any case I still plan on continuing to use it because I love the way my skin looks. I’ve been using Perricone Products for almost 20 years now, and I get so many compliments on my skin. They’re my secret anti-aging weapon.

I am over 56 and I have normal skin. I really never faithfully moisturized before the last couple years. As my skin became drier with age I needed some thing to put on under make up. I got a free sample of this Perricone MD Finishing and Firming moisturizer from a makeup purchase and I was in love.

I love the faint rose scent and how light the moisturizer is. To be honest I dont recall it being called a firming moisturizer when I first started using it. I could be wrong but I think the name changed somewhere in the last several years.

The product however has not changed. I cant speak to it being firming I just love the way it moisturizes. I only use a tiny bit and it leaves my skin soft but not oily or shiny. Once again, I have normal skin with the normal amount of dryness that appears with middle-age.

I did not want some thing heavy that I could feel on my skin after application. What I like about this is I dont even feel like Im wearing it. The store where I normally shop has this product in new packaging for three times the price I paid here on eBay.

I have to assume this is some kind of buy out of old packaging since Ive also seen it at TJ Maxx. I will be sad when I have to go back to paying the big price tag.

I can’t recommend this product highly enough, it’s a little pot of magic! I bought this as a punt, I decided to take a chance because the reviews were good and I’ve used Perricone products before, which are unique but for me, always work.

I fully admit that I really didn’t expect much. Shame on me! Have had a stinky cold over Christmas and this morning woke up, looked in the mirror and saw a puffy pasty little face full of cold and discomfort.

I wasn’t bothering with makeup, and I almost didn’t waste this product on what was clearly a lost cause! So glad I did. I now look and feel like me but a prettier version. And I don’t have to slap on full makeup.

It has both pros and cons. However, due to personal preferences, sadly I am unable to recommend this product with its current formulation. Get rid of the yucky unnecessary ingredients and I would be more open to recommending this.

I was a loyal user of Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer in the color ‘Sand’ for many years. I mostly wore it in the summer or days I didn’t want heavy coverage. Then about 8- 10ish years ago (I cant remember) they changed the formula and I did not like the new formula at all and stopped wearing it.

I had tried several different brands in that time frame and really didn’t love any until I tried IT beauty fluid in translucent ( I did not like the CC cream at all). Then the IT beauty fluid got discontinued.

I got this as a sample to try and the color sand and I ended up loving it and purchasing a full size. I was getting black and white heads around nose and chin with ‘IT’ and never realized that is what was causing it until I have been using Laura Mercier for about a month now.

No more black and white head break outs! The formula I would say is a light coverage. Goes on smooth. I wear it alone for a dewy look or with the LM loose powder which gives it a more finished look. As for the color, it is not the same as the SAND I used to wear.

This has more of an orangish tone to it but it seems to give me a more sun kissed look not an oompa loompa look so I am sticking with it. It is not drying as some oil free formulas tend to be. I am in my 40’s with combo skin and I use a moisturizer first.

I love the SPF. Def recommend to give this a try!.

Perfect for a moisturized, natural look, but not long-lasting enough. I purchased this after hearing good reviews from a friend about it being the perfect foundation for Summer with its added SPF. After seeing how good, and natural it looked on her, I picked up one myself.

With 20 shades on offer, there was a decent selection to choose from. I apply this with my fingers and sometimes a small makeup sponge, and the finish is sheer and lightweight. This really does give you that effortless no-makeup look which I am a big fan of, and it looks nice for the first half of the day.

The ingredients include Macadamia and Tamarind seed extract which helps lock in moisture. Unfortunately for my skin, it wasn’t enough as by the evening, my dewy look is more of an oily, patchy look? And I feel like I need to blot my nose, head, and chin area with tissue.

9 months ago I tested this tinted moisturiser our for a YouTube video recently, and was really drawn to it as it is lighter on the skin and has skincare benefits. I have super oily skin, so seeing a tinted moisturiser for my skin type was great for me! It stays put for a good 6-8 hours and doesn’t look oily but gives a nice healthy glow, and I set this with a translucent powder.

Since working from home, I’ve been into sheer/light tints for my skin (as opposed to full coverage which I used to love before!) This gives a sheer/light tint but can easily be build up to light/medium coverage.

I love how there are multiple different undertones, as I love my it cosmetics CC Cream but it comes in limited shades so doesn’t always work for me – I self tan so have a warm/olive undertone. It contains SPF 20 so is great for summer, so will give a bit more help if you were to use an SPF under the tinted moisturiser.

It also doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything my face and it has vitamins and skincare benefits to help your skin whilst you’re getting a bit of coverage. You get 50ml so is more than the standard foundation sizes, and you only need just a little more than a pea-sized amount for one layer.

I love this tinted moisturiser and have 3 shades! For reference, I use Estee Lauder Double Wear in 2W1 and 2W2, and the same shades in this tinted moisturiser match. Overall, I love this tinted moisturiser and it’s one of my go-to base products, along with It Cosmetics Oil Free CC Cream, L’Oreal True Match Foundation and Chanel Water Fresh Tint.

I love this stuff and will continue to repurchase!.

I wanted to take my time to review this item, because I went into this as a skeptic. Laura Mercier has always been very hit or mess in my opinion (I recognize that’s a typo, but I stand by the sentiment).

The loose powder is a staple in my daily routine in the deep tone, but I have many friends and family members who cannot use that holy grail powder because it’s only available in two shades. I went into this evaluation with much the same attitude.

I figured for me that there would be a shade to match my skin tone relatively well but expected to be disappointed by the shade range as well as the finish. While Laura Mercier’s translucent powder has a beautiful in-person finish, sadly it does result in flashback when using the translucent shade.

I was hoping that this tinted moisturizer would prove me wrong. And I can definitely say that it exceeded every expectation. The formula is not what I expected, it’s much creamier and thicker with fuller coverage than is standard for a tinted moisturizer, the finish is so natural and beautiful it definitely results in a “your skin but better” effect.

This is not your mama’s tinted moisturizer. I would say it’s more akin to a full coverage foundation. I believe the reason for this is fact is that it does actually contain a 20 SPF/ zinc oxide. Now normally for me (and most brown skin girls) we end up with a ghost like appearance whenever we try to use sunscreen.

This did not result in any white tones and really did match my skin. I was really impressed by the weightless feel and natural finish, but also how seamlessly the shade blended into my skin. I thought that the shade I was sent (3N1Sand) would be too light but it was a perfect match.

For me that is not easy to find. I also liked that it did not have mask transfer, I wear a face mask for 12 hours a day as a nurse and I need some thing that’s not going to rub off on my mask constantly.

This didn’t *at all*. That’s unheard of. Use mattifying spray and boom done! I didn’t even need to dust this with translucent powder. After spending time using this product, I can say I’m truly grateful I did.

**I received these products for free from Influenster and Laura Mercier in exchange for my honest review** I’ve heard so many good things about Laura Mercier’s line of tinted moisturizers but never got around to trying any! I have combo skin than leans oily in the warmer months so I was excited to try this particular “version”.

I love tinted moisturizers and bb/cc creams for their light coverage and ease of application. I don’t use many tools and prefer to use my fingers when possible. So I expected to be able to do the same with this product.

However, even after warming it up significantly between my fingers, and using a smooth primer, I couldn’t not get a decent application using my fingers. The formula felt incredibly thick and I was tugging my skin pretty hard trying to spread it out and blend it in.

I gave up, washed it off and started over, this time using a damp sponge. This helped significantly, but kind of defeated the main reason I love/use tinted moisturizers in the first place. Once I had it blended as best I could, it did not sit well on my face.

It clung to and emphasized every remotely dry patch on my face and even made my oily t zone look dry and cakey. I was sooo disappointed! For reference, I have combo skin, and I tried the product on my bare face, with the Laura Mercier pure canvas blurring primer, and with my favorite Bare Minerals primer as well.

I did not try applying it with a brush, simply because I never use them for face products and would never use one for a tinted moisturizer.

This is the worst tinted moisturizer I’ve tried. I wanted something light to wear instead of foundation for everyday around the house or just running out for errands. First of all, it’s glittery which I hate.

Second, it dries the skin and settles into cracks and lines on your face. Third, it is really hard to get off. Washed my face over the sink and then with a scrub in the shower and it still was on my face and hands and transferred to my towels.

So annoying. Returning.

Everyone’s skincare needs are different. This one is perfect for me. I have aging/oily/combination/acne-prone/wrinkled skin. It does have a glow to it. But I like it. It made my skin look natural, didn’t cake on me, and felt smooth.

My only wish is that it lasted longer, but that’s the trade-off about using tinted moisturizers versus heavier foundations. Overall, I recommend!.

You know what…I’m kinda impressed. I finally ran out of my holy grail Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (the old formula) and I was forced to try another brand because the new Laura Mercier formula is terrible.

I really didn’t expect to like this one that much, but it’s really nice! Very very skin-like and buildable coverage. Dare I say, better coverage than the Laura Mercier and it doesn’t move around as much.

My skin looks nearly flawless. I wish it was a little more dewy like the Laura Mercier, but this still gives the skin a bit of satin sheen and it’s ever so slightly powdery when you look super close.

I think I’m the future I’m gonna layer this with a thicker moisturizer underneath to give more of a glow. It almost dries down similarly to a foundation but it’s obviously way less heavy. Also if you are more on the fair/neutral side like me, terre neuve isn’t a bad match at all even though it’s meant for more cool undertones.

It did make me a tiny bit more sallow but that’s nothing a good blush and a bit of light bronzer can’t fix. The only minor downside is that it shows my pores a little more, but again I think I can mitigate that by using a thicker moisturizer before hand.

But that’s just me being nit-picky. If you were in love with the old Laura Mercier, just try this one! Best alternative I have found so far.

absolutely love this product! my skin has standard texture, although it’s relatively clear, so i would typically just wear a light coverage foundation to cover redness and supply a base. i still would have noticeable texture, as i wear my makeup all day.

with this tinted moisturizer, i of course still have slight texture, but nothing even noticeable. it’s truly amazing. i used to swear AGAINST tinted moisturizer until this product – it wears beautifully all day long, even through sweating in summer time.

it blends so well with cream blush and other products i used on my face. the product alone gives a dewy finish, but not “sticky”. it blends super nice and evenly, and does a great job covering my redness, as well as small imperfections.

sidenote – i do still apply a standard moisturizer and a makeup primer before applying this product. i also use a foundation brush to blend this product into the skin. however, i’m sure you can skip the primer and still have beautiful results.

the only downside to this product is that it is VERY prone to transfer and smudge. i don’t mind this because i generally try to avoid touching my face if i’m wearing makeup, but i know this might be a deal breaker to some.

i recommend the NARS sheer foundation if you’re in need of something light-coverage with minimal transfer. all in all, this product is awesome and looks so so pretty on the skin. ive tried forever to find the “perfect” tinted moisturizer/light-coverage foundation, and this is truly is the best product i have come across.

Leave it to Nars to create the most beautiful complexion products. This is amazing and I’ve never found anything else like it. It’s super blendable, lightweight and wears great on the skin. It’s a thin almost creamy texture but has really good coverage for a ‘tinted moisturizer’.

It’s like a light more medium coverage and makes the skin look flawless. The finish is not matte but not super radiant either. It looks like skin. I have oily skin so I never like radiant products even with a slight dew because I become an oil slick.

This works so well for me and I think it would work on all skin types which is amazing/rare for foundations. I set it with Laura mercier translucent powder and I don’t get very oily. It lasts surprisingly well but it is not going to be as long wearing/transfer-proof as a super matte foundation.

But I’m okay with that because I want this for an easy everyday foundation that provides coverage and looks beautiful. Also get 1. 9 oz which is almost double the size of most. I like the packaging- easy flip open cap.

Only thing is I wish they would create a lighter shade than Finland with pale yellow olive undertones (like Smashbox 1. 05). This is a repurchase and I highly recommend it to any oily skin person who wants to jump on this ‘skin tint’ trend but still needs a bit of coverage.

I like the product, I do. It’s a very soft, skin- like finish. Looks very natural. The shades are fools gold though- it’s a total crap shoot as to what color is going to work because they are not as described.

I got light- medium because it said the color was light with beige undertones. It was much darker than expected. But other reviews say the darkest tone is much lighter than expected. I like the formulation for everyday wear with mostly indoors, and just some light outdoor activity.

I’m considering whether to return mine or buy the lightest shade so I can mix and get a bigger shade range that matches my tone year round. Haven’t decided yet.

I LOVE this BB moisturizer! I’ve scrolled past it multiple times online and walked past it in stores more times than I can count. And dang. I wish I would’ve started using this stuff sooner! I’ve spent so much money trying to find the perfect foundation.

Covergirl (multiple kinds), Almay, The Ordinary, Clinique, IL Makiage… just to name a few. This shade isn’t an exact match to my skin tone, but it’s the closest I’ve ever been. I purchased the lightest shade.

It doesn’t get cakey, it doesn’t rub off super easily, no lines, no breakouts, and a little bit goes a long way. It’s also easy to build coverage if needed. The price is what kept me from purchasing it for so long, but it’s totally worth it.

You a fan of super hydrated, fresh looking skin? So you like a buildable foundation? Then you’ve found the right product! This tinted moisturizer is awesome. Really leaves my skin looking very natural and almost bouncy, if that makes sense haha! The only problem I had with this is it oxidized on my face.

Nobody wants to look orange-y, as far as I know! I should’ve picked out a different color, so that’s my bad. Other than my lack of matching skills, I’d say this is definitely one of the best tinted moisturizers on the market.

I never write reviews but this product has earned a forewarning label. I wanted to love this product, I read so many great reviews but it did not live up to any of them. I typically prefer a loose powder foundation such as bare minerals but due to cold weather and my battle with acne these products were clinging to dry spots/problem areas.

I decided to go with this product after researching more hydrating options for my problematic skin. I wanted a sheer coverage that was similar to a powder and this item seemed to check all the boxes! HOWEVER this product is one of the worst base products I’ve ever tried.

The product would start to dry while I was blending other areas SO FAST and when I’d blend with a damp sponge (very typical) the product would start pilling to the point of falling off my face. The product oxidizes almost immediately to a very orange tone.

Between the pilling/ oxidation the slight product and tint that was left looked streaky. My skin has never looked so bad. I tried the product with 2 different primers, no primer and I also tried it without moisturizing but the results were all the same.

Save yourself some money and get something better. Trust me.

I received this moisturizer free as part of home tester club testing program. This tinted moisturizer is now my go to tinted moisturizer. It provides light coverage with the tint included in the product.

It instantly evened out my skin tone and made my skin look more awake without masking out all of my natural skin features. The color sat nicely across my skin without settling in lines and blended seamlessly along my jaw.

The moisturizer part of this made my skin soft and hydrated without feeling heavy. It soaked into my skin fast enough that I could apply additional make up over it shortly after and slowly enough that I was able to blend out the tint easily to avoid any uneven patches.

I’ve used more expensive brands of tinted moisturizers and this is genuinely comparable in quality, coverage and moisturization. I checked my skin throughout the day and it never looked greasy or shiny, It simply looked soft and radiant.

I am a huge fan of products that are not only multi beneficial, and serve more than one purpose, but I also like wearing the least amount of makeup. The Neutrogena Healthy Skin Radiant Tinted Moisturizer got me really excited! Not only was it a moisturizer, but it was tinted, and provided SPF.

As soon as I got it, I couldn’t wait to use it. I cleaned my face, and opened the tube. It was a nice light weight consistency with a mild scent and a nice pigmented color. I put some on my hands and started working it onto my face.

It went on nice and easy, but as I started moving it around, it almost looked like it was getting cakey and streaky. I got a little concerned as the more I messed with it, the worst it was looking. I added a touch more and put it on quickly with little motion.

It was a little tacky, but didn’t feel bad on the skin. I gave it a few minutes, and was actually pretty amazed. It soaked into my skin, evened itself out, and looked fantastic. Would recommend!.

I’ve been looking for a tinted moisturizer with buildable coverage for a while and this is a hit for me! I have hyper pigmentation and I can build this tinted moisturizer up with a blending sponge to cover well without looking caked on.

It’s not full coverage, but enough for a natural medium coverage look. Which is what I was looking for. Just kinda evens me out. If you use your fingers to blend it out it’s very sheer and you have to work quick because it drys down fast.

So I would recommend a wet blending sponge of some kind to apply it. I set it with the Laura Mercier setting powder because I have very oily skin and it holds up well. It does dry down on its own, so if you had dry skin I don’t think you’d have to set it much if at all.

It’s more of a satin finish even with a setting powder which gives a nice no makeup makeup kind of look. It doesn’t settle into my lines or pores and it doesn’t blur the skin very much. It just kind of looks like my skin, but better and more even toned.

For me this is exactly what I’ve been looking for as far as tinted moisturizer goes. I would recommend if you’re looking for a tinted moisturizer to give this a try.

For most days I think my skin looks best with a base of tinted moisturizer (and concealer where needed) and set with a powder rather than any heavy coverage foundation. There are several that I love and alternate with and this is one of the best out there, I honestly don’t understand why there aren’t a ton of rave reviews for it.

I haven’t used the other versions of the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (though based on how much I love this I will try them) but the name for this is spot on. It makes my skin look like it’s glowing.

But its a soft, all overglow, it’s not spangly or space age like you’re wearing highlighter all over your face. It’s just a really, really, pretty glow. Perfect for everyday or casual events where you want to look nice but not too made up.

I wear 1C0 Cameo in this and Erborian CC cream in Clair and Chantcaille Just Skin in Alabaster if that helps anyone match their colour.

Skin type: Dry, Hormonal Acne, Hyperpigmentation, sensitive I usually never write reviews but this product is just so good. I was looking for something I could wear on vacation to keep my skin looking toned even though I have hyperpigmentation and hormonal acne.

This product blurred my skin just enough to look natural. My skin looks like skin but better. It doesn’t completely cover everything like a foundation but for those that are just looking for something that urs your skin a little bit and fade the look of active acne or acne scars, this is great.

I put this on after all of my skincare (toner, serum, eye cream moisturizer, sunscreen) I do have dark eye circles but this covers it up just a little bit. I put under eye concealer on if I need to but this is great for no makeup makeup days where I don’t want to layer on makeup and worry about my face feeling heavy under the sun.

Great product. Easy to blend with fingers. I have no problems with it clinging to my dry areas. It also doesn’t irritate any active acne I have on my face.

I so wanted to LOVE this product. However. I react to just about everything and sunscreen is no exception. I’m a vampire and go up in flames when the sun comes up. “Hello darkness my old friend…” I live a life a glamour from 9-5 (PM-AM).

Escaping to my coffin during the day… but sometimes going out in the sunshine cannot be avoided 😅😂 but in all seriousness, I started becoming photosensitive around the age of 25 and it’s gotten progressively worse Over the last 10 years and I started my autoimmune/immunology and allergy journey about two years ago to try to figure out what’s going on with me, But of course my life is not easy in finding an answer hasn’t happened yet.

 And because I react to most things, and figured I probably have a flare from something that day, I tried it anyway. Typically, I am matte make up girl. But this product showed me the light! helped me discover that luminous looks good on me and makes me look younger.

( I never thought I looked old at all until this year. ) I am able to wear this product on top of my primer (lots of primer) or mixed in with either another moisturizer or my foundation/concealer. I actually found that when worn on my skin without a barrier, it actually dried me out ( that could be allergy).

I really like the luminosity and a little goes a long way. it doesn’t give me too bad of a reaction when mixed because I assume a quality brand uses quality ingredients. I like the packaging it’s easy to get out of the tube.

I have not read the ingredients but I am also finding that I’m sensitive/allergic to vitamin E or tocopherols and I would not be surprised if that was in there. my allergist seems to think I’m allergic to preservatives so I have to be very careful with what I put on my face or I’m a hot mess.

In the past, I always luminous products because I thought luminous equals oil and now I’m a believer! Now, I’m searching for luminous, oil free, Non-comedogenic, and hypoallergenic products all the time.

I thought that cameo was a great selection for my skin tone and it actually brightened me up from a bland… vapid… pale white. to a creamy ‘Snow White’ glow. I would definitely recommend this product to those without sensitive skin and to use of caution if you have sensitive skin, especially if you are sensitive to sunscreen.

I have absolutely fallen in love with this! It gives such a nice, radiant finish. My skin looks flawless when I wear it, without looking cakey. I love that it has SPF in it and that it is also moisturizing.

This would be my go to for everyday wear if I was able to wear makeup everyday. I am in healthcare and have to wear an N95 everyday, but hoping that some day I will be able to actually put on makeup for work again! If and when that happens, I will definitely be reaching for this product.

The first time I used it, I attempted to use a beautyblender but found that using my hands was easier and didn’t waste so much product. It is pretty liquid-y, so the blender just soaked up too much. I basically just apply it like I would a moisturized.

I just can’t get over how pretty the finish is, and I don’t notice that it accentuates texture like some products with this finish do. It is almost like this product has some kind of micro-glitter in it to give it such a pretty glow…makes me think of the glow that vampires have in the sunlight in Twilight (I’m dating myself).

Anyways, this is an amazing lightweight face product that makes your skin look beautiful and you won’t regret buying. I love the shade range available as well. I will say that I tried this over the Laura Mercier Blurring Pure Canvas Primer and it was a disaster, so don’t do that! But that primer is garbage anyway imo, it doesn’t matter what foundation product you use with it.

Not sure about the other primera in that line though, as I have only tried the blurring finish.

I received this tinted moisturizer with Spf complementary inexchange of my honest review from influenster. I was very excited about this product because I was really interested intinted moisturizer with SPF in it.

I want for my skin for everyday use Like going outside for grocery shopping or picking and dropping off my kids I really want to love this product. Firstly the color I got in the mail was not my color at all it was it was little darker but I try to fix it up with lighter color setting powder but it didn’t work it started peeling off I thought it may be because I powdered it for the next time I use it In so many ways I use primer under my skin I used moisturizer before applying it , everything just got failed.

the tinted moisturizer oxidized on me and make me darker Orange and color it does blend very nicely but in a few minutes you can see it becomes patchy and it’s adhere to your dried patches which are not visible but after using this moisturizer they will.

The Orange color adhere to my patches. And after 20 to 30 it has started piling so every time I try to use it I want to work with that but it didn’t work for me at All. People in the thread in reviews showed their full face of makeup in its review which is not true at all it didn’t give you that much coverage.

Because I try to use it in so many ways it’s a total fail product for me I won’t recommend it at all. U can check my review pics, my Orange face and when it started to pill.

I am really enjoying this spf – I have been using it for approx 4 weeks now and I am very happy with the purchase. I have normal/ T-zone acne prone skin and this is really comfortable to wear everyday without causing any congestion issues.

It is a very nice texture – perfect daytime moisturiser/spf over my anti-oxidant serums for my normal skin. I use tretinoin daily so this gives a nice amount of moisture without remaining tacky on the skin – I would say it drys down about 85% after 10 mins but there is a slight layer of moisture ahead of applying further products but it doesn’t feel like its moving around.

Really like that it is a physical sunscreen without being chalky or very shiny and it doesn’t sting when my skin is a little over sensitised from my tretinoin and dry cold weather. It does have some slight fragrance from natural oils contained in the inci but its not overwhelming and I think the concentration is quite low – usually my preference is fragrance free but this product smells very pleasant (sort of citrus scent) and is not overpowering.

I previously tried the prior formulation of this product which was a tinted formula which I did not enjoy as I found it very heavy and the tint was an awkward tone to blend into my light neutral/olive skin and the tint made it tricky to reapply if needed throughout the day.

Overall I really like this formula and the generous amount which is important because you need to use your spf generously and frequently so this encourages good practice for spf vigilance! Will re-purchase when I run through this tube!.

I have to leave this review as I am surprised there is only one negative review for the tinted moisturiser. I’m here to order my second bottle. I was initially apprehensive and only ordered a sample kit but fell totally in love.

I’ve been trying to look for a BB cream as I believe it might have more beneficial properties for my skin based on the nature of design of the product, but I am not satisfied by any of them. I have south East Asian skin and this tint was absolutely perfect for me, I pop on a bit of this after my normal moisturiser and add some concealer under my eyes, some mascara and I’m done! It’s really good if you’re looking to ditch your foundation for something more natural and lighter.

I also have been suffering with adult acne and while this doesn’t have total coverage, it does cover most redness which is perfect for me.

I love Image Skin care products so how could I go wrong with adding a sunscreen product? It felt like I had a wax coating on my skin. Several times during the day I would have to check for ‘build up’ of the tint in the wrinkles and crevices on my face.

Wouldn’t advise using it if you are going to sweat as it gets tint and waxy like film on clothing. Will be returning!.

Woof, this is awful. Looking at other reviews I’m not sure if the one I purchased (very recently at Target) is the most current version? My packaging is white where the others seem to be gray. To be safe, I’m giving 2 stars in case I just have old garbage.

I don’t wear much makeup these days in this remote environment so I had high hopes this would satisfy evening out my skin tone just a bit while moisturizing and giving me some SPF coverage as I sit in front of a well-lit window most of my day.

This is SO thick and dry. It doesn’t “melt” into the skin whatsoever. I already have dry skin so this is extra disappointing for something labeled as a “moisturizer”. It doesn’t blend in well at all either.

It looks so cakey on my clean skin and creates a white cast worse than any regular sunscreen I’ve ever used. While I don’t wear much makeup right now, I am very used to wearing full blown stage makeup and can tolerate a lot on my face.

This is the first product I’ve ever used that actively feels uncomfortable on my skin. I can’t touch my face as it immediately wipes away and my hands are covered in the residue. It feels so heavy and like my skin can’t breathe at all.

Adding makeup on top of it (so as to not look like a total ghost) doesn’t blend well at all because this product is just sitting on top of my skin like a mask. Finally, this settles into every crevice.

I don’t have major wrinkles at all but it’s settling into the folds of my eyelids aggressively and under my eyes into every tiny line I do have. This is so unflattering and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since applying this morning (it’s been like 5 hours now).

Terrible I really wanted to like this product. I love the clean ingredients and the mineral sunscreen. I have combo skin, it’s a bit drier in the cooler months and oily in the warmer months. Regardless this product does not work for me no matter the weather, time of year or what I do.

I purchased two bottles, hoping there would be some improvement. However, the second bottle was worse than the first. When you squeeze the product out there is separation. Regardless the application and wearability is horrible.

It seems to just sit on my face, no matter what I do it doesn’t blend nicely. It creases into all my lines and completely melts off my face. I have tried changing primers, powders, setting powders, etc trying to make this work but it does not.

I would give it zero stars if I could. It’s the worst product I have tried in a long time.

Been using for almost three years and I love that the ingredients don’t include dimethicone which gives me horrible painful pimples. And most makeup has it. So when I find a product I like that doesn’t have it, I stick with it.

And I swear this stuff makes my skin feel tighter. Before and after having it on. No idea how. My skin is naturally dry and even though this feels a bit dry after applying, it does not dry my skin at all.

Natural look and feel. Perfect match for my skin tone as well. In the past, I have had issues with target shipping me expired tubes though…. So look out for that. But as long as it isn’t expired, it’s a great product.

I will be a longtime customer. Although just a warning, their concealer causes horrible creasing under my eyes.

I felt kinda bad because I initially left this product a snotty review (I’ve since deleted it). My feelings were along the lines of “nice product but kinda pointless. ” I’ve since been using this product a lot, as the weather has gotten nicer and I really wanted to give it another go.

This is marketed as a skin tint/tinted moisturiser so definitely don’t expect a lot of coverage. It has way less coverage than the Fenty eaze drop, or even the Colourpop tinted moisturiser (if you’ve tried either of those).

I’d say that if you have any major skin concerns or need a lot to be covered then this definitely wouldn’t be for you and I’d advise skipping this all together. I personally enjoy a lighter coverage product because most of the time I skip makeup all-together and my skin is pretty good/I’m not self-conscious about it The tint comes in a nice, thick feeling squeeze tube with pump applicator and looks very sleek.

The pump can be hit and miss and doesn’t always dispense product right away, possibly becauase the tint itself has a thicker consistency. It doesn’t have a noticeable scent. I have shade TWO (which is no where near as orange or deep as the photo I included when it’s blended out).

Because of the super sheer coverage you can also get away with multiple shades so don’t worry too much if you’re shade matching online The tint does provide VERY SHEER coverage (you can get more with a brush than sponge, and the most with your fingers).

Either technique works as the tint melts into the skin and is very smooth and blendable. I can definitely see the product when it initially applies to my face because it’s technically too dark – but once it’s blended in, the colour discrepancy goes away and it looks extremely natural and beautiful.

It wears nicely through the day and plays well with other products both under (skincare and primers) and over it (foundation, powder etc). Because it’s so sheer it takes on the finish of your skincare – so it looks beautiful and dewy if you choose more luminous products.

The tint very lightly evens out my skintone, whilst allowing my natural skin to shine through. Again, if you have marked redness, discolouration, scarring etc that you want to cover then this isn’t for you Overall, now I’ve tried this some more I love to wear it and I love how it looks on my skin! To be completely honest, this may have been better marketed as a tinted sunscreen because it does contain all the benefits of an SPF 35, without the dreaded white-cast, greasy looking and feeling skin, pilling etc etc.

Especially as the coverage provided is barely there, even for a skin tint. I think it will be beautiful to wear during summer to protect the skin and achieve the popular dewy glass skin look. I’m giving it 4/5 purely because it doesn’t have enough coverage to have much of a role as a ‘foundation’/base product 🌠🌠ğŸŒ.

I am so disappointed that I didn’t get along with this product because on the label it sounds like everything I love. HOWEVER it is simply an impractical formula. First of all it has barely the tiniest whisper of coverage, think Glossier skin tint vibes.

This is fine if you have perfect skin or just don’t want any sort of discernible coverage, however if you want your base to do at least a little something something, this product is not for you. Also, just like their Dew Blushes, this formula is WET.

Like oily greasy glass skin WET. Does it look beautiful? Yes. Does it make you look like all you do is sleep and guzzle water? Yes. However, it remains exactly how it looks which is WET, which is fine for like a photo shoot or something but not for normal life.

It never dries down so you always have a greasy layer on your face that transfers onto absolutely anything with the slightest little touch. Forget transfer proof, you lightly touch your face and that patch of skin will be empty of product.

Basically, what I’m saying is that this formula looks beautiful and radiant and hydrated, bordering on overly hydrated (powder is an absolute necessity and even still it will remain somewhat wet and tacky and transfer-prone), however it is extremely impractical for any type of long term normal day to day wear.

Also don’t even try to put a mask on over this because you will end up with a bare face and a very messy mask. I recommend the Nudestix tinted cover over this, beautiful seamless glowy look with some actual coverage that actually sets down and can be worn all day.

After trying a sample in the shade “three,” I ordered it immediately. I NEVER do this!! I am shocked at how good this tinted moisturizer is. It gives pretty good coverage, the shade is FANTASTIC (one of the best matches I’ve ever had), it has an all mineral SPF 35 (I HATE applying separate SPF every day), and best of all, it doesn’t settle in my forehead lines! Since getting into my 30’s, nearly every product does.

not this one! I was using IT’s Bye Bye foundation (and CC cream) before this because it has all mineral SPF. But it is SO HEAVY by comparison. Also, the shades are HORRIBLE compared to this!! There is no ugly dark gray cast at all.

If anything, the fact that these shades are peachier make this one of this most flattering foundations I’ve ever tried! I still prefer the Beauty Blender skin tint as an overall foundation because nothing tops the hydration and glow from that one (and the shades are very good as well in that line), but for an “every day” foundation, this one is great.

But ONLY for normal to dry skin. I can see how oily skinned people would hate this, so don’t say you weren’t warned! But my skin is so dry, that I will need an even heavier moisturizer to wear under this as soon as it’s.

Still, for a “normal” person it’s hydrating enough on its own.

I love all-in-one products with SPF and couldn’t wait to try this. I have acne and rosacea and just about everything triggers breakouts for me – but not this so far! I appreciate that it’s fragrance free and contains a high SPF.

It’s not too dewy or too matte, it’s a nice natural finish. It’s buildable and gives me enough coverage for blemishes and dark spots. I don’t like to use makeup brushes but it’s probably easier to blend with a brush.

I use my fingers and it can be a little tricky to spread. Putting a little moisturizer on underneath does help. I am in between fair and beige, so I ordered fair. It’s a tad light but it works. I would love to see more color choices.

I finally got around to trying this and decided to do a comparison with some BB & CC creams I already had on hand. The others were; it Your Skin But Better CC+ Mineral Fusion All-In-One BB L’Oréal Magic BB All were applied with just my fingers, in a pouncing motion to “finish”.

This stuff won by a landslide! The CC was like putty and I hated it, the other 2 were OK, but I never reached for them because I wasn’t interested in just OK. Honestly, the L’Oréal was a bit streaky, which I may have been able to attenuate with a beauty blender, but I didn’t have to do anything special with the LG.

I’m a no fuss girl, and I’m officially a Better Than Bare Tinted Moisturizer girl now, too! Ditching the others! This is my go-to. Can’t wait to try it with my Baked Balance N Brighten!!!.

I absolutely love spf foundation & the tinted moisturizer product! You don’t feel like you are wearing anything on your face but confidence! These both matches my skin tone and neck. It’s just a really natural look.

I’m not a fan of the powder only because it magnifies my pores & neither the spf foundation or the tinted shows any pores @ all. I can apply my spf foundation or tint & my eyeliner ,mascara & brows and I’m out the door in 10 minutes.

It all stays till I’m ready to take it off @ night. Please never stop making these two products.

I’m absolutely obsessed. I just bought this product yesterday after MONTHS of searching for a new foundation/tinted moisturizer. I hate the feel of most foundations, they always get cakey no matter how much I prep my skin, even the ones labelled as “light coverage”, “buildable”, etc.

I tend to have big, clogged pores around my nose, redness in random spots on my face, and an overall uneven skin tone. After cleansing my face, I applied this product all over with my fingertips and the result was genuinely MAGICAL.

It has a silky smooth, very lightweight texture that feels nothing like your typical foundation, cream, or primer. When I first applied it, it looked a few shades darker than my skin, but after rubbing it in it matched my face so perfectly that you couldn’t even tell I was wearing any makeup.

It’s not the slightest bit cakey, even on the creases of my nose where my other products usually cake up a lot. As for the pores around my nose, they were practically invisible after using this stuff, and with just one layer, the redness on my face disappeared.

My skin was left feeling softer than it’s ever felt before. To really put it to the test, I spent a few hours out on a restaurant patio in the scorching 105° Texas heat. I was basically melting after just a few minutes out there.

When we got home 3 hours later, my face looked exactly the same as it did before we left. The product was still there, none of it melted off at all, and my face still felt softer than ever. I even SLEPT IN IT and woke up to perfect looking skin before washing it off this morning.

Out of all the products I’ve ever used, this one is now my all time favorite. I hate spending money on makeup, but I will gladly spend the $40 on this product regularly, probably for the rest of my life.

You can use it as a normal primer before foundation and other products, but I used it alone with no setting spray or anything and it gave me the best no-makeup look ever. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who loves makeup, hates makeup, and anywhere in between.

I absolutely love this bb primer! I will be the first to say it isn’t for everyone. It’s true that it clings to any dry patches you might have. However, on my *very* oily skin it looks amazing! I have always wanted a foundation that looks just like skin, but my face is oily and textured from acne scars so most thin, tinted moisturizers and bb creams are too oily, dewey, or slide right off my face.

Going on, this reminds me of kind of the the silicone-y feel that the OG Smashbox face primer has. It almost feels like it will be too “slick” to dry down but it does anyway and beautifully so. This covers up redness and will be perfect for evening out skin tone but it is *not* tinted enough to cover up blemishes.

On days when I want a little more coverage I actually use a powder foundation (tested with Estée Lauder and Shiseido) and it works PERFECTLY! This bb primer extends the life of the powder foundation and the foundation gives more tint and coverage.

It lasts all day on my oily face in the Florida sun and humidity. I always wear sunscreen but I appreciate the extra dose of SPF 30 this has. This mini size is VERY small, it almost fits in the palm of my hand.

That being said, I prefer minis for testing out products I’m not so sure about. I probably wouldn’t have bought the full size outright so I’m glad the mini exists! If I had any complaint about this it’s that the fair shade is a little too cool/pink for me but it is sheer enough that I don’t mind.

If you have oily skin and are looking for a lighter coverage bb/foundation to even out your skin tone I cannot recommend this enough!!.

I have really sensitive acne prone skin that can get oily but is obviously dehydrated. And I have been looking for the perfect BB cream/tinted spf for such a long time. I needed something moisturizing that also controls oil.

This product isn’t exactly what I was looking for, but it’s really, REALLY good. I fell in love and worked my skincare routine around it. This product feels AMAZING! It spreads beautifully. It’s not greasy at all.

And it’s the only tinted product I’ve tried that doesn’t leave my face an oily mess after a couple of hours. It doesn’t really moisturize/hydrate, but I still feel like I can use it alone and it will not dry out my skin.

It has enough coverage to even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of redness, but it’s not going to cover up pimples.

I’m 45 and have combo skin that is in good condition with light creasing under eyes. I like light to medium coverage that is buildable. Skin Feels Good is perfect for me. It blends like a dream (I prefer a bush to buff in) and it absolutely does not settle in any of my undereye lines.

I use Laura Mercier Pure Canvas Illuminating Primer underneath and this on top. I then finish off my under eye area and any remaining redness around nose with Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra Wear concealer and set my chin, forehead and around my nose with Laura Mercier setting powder.

I have never received so many compliments on my “glowing” skin. I stay moisturized without getting slick, even in the summer months. I don’t even need to touch-up when doing a night out after work. I absolutely love Lancome and I love this product!.

This is my go to foundation. ~to me~ this is a true akin tint, and does very little to cover blemishes or texture. However, it does a little. And that little bit is so beautiful. It’s easy to use, applies nicely with fingers/sponge/brush and can be built up to a debatably medium coverage, but I think it’s best worn as a sheer-to-light situation.

Products layer beautifully over it, I can use cream/liquid and get an overall more dewy lewwwk- aka face will melt off if you’re an oily human or in a sweaty situation- unless ur primer has been blessed by the gods.

OR a powder of ur choosing will give u a face that will last longer, but loses that skin-like glisteny charm I love so dearly. Either way, this is my go to foundation/skin tint/bb cream/cc cream/tinted moisturizer/face base product.

I’m not new to tinted moisturizers. All I wear. Radiant tan-just a little, slightly too light for my medium tanned skin. Really don’t want to add bronzer to make the shade work. Next shade up, too dark.

Overall, I have no issues with shade match, other products. Four stars because it’s my second favorite tinted moisturizer. Except for shade. My favorite and always go-to is Saie. Perfect shade. I do like ‘skin feels good’…evens out my skin, lightweight, gives a natural glow, no makeup feel, skin like, doesn’t look like I’m wearing makeup-natural.

All that I want. Actually gives a little more coverage than my favorite, Saie. Only issue, the shade is just not spot on :(.

Almost didn’t purchase because of the price but so far very happy I took a chance. I’m 50, just went through menopause and have been dealing with skin changes, mainly in the form of regular breakouts, like 1-4 pimples at any given time.

After decades of great skin, it’s been difficult trying to find something/anything that I can use to avoid breakouts, redness and little red pimple-looking dots on my cheeks. Everything I used to use no longer works.

I started noticing no matter how applied any tinted moisturizer or foundation that I’d have little foundation dots clustered in my pores. When I first applied this over a light moisturizer, it seemed thick and a little hard to blend.

It blends easiest on a very moisturized face. What I’m doing – I’ve been using Arcona Peptide Hydrating Complex again with good results. To apply this, I add 2 pumps of the Arcona Peptide to my face, wait about 30 seconds then add half a pump of the Arcona and half a pump of the Macrene Actives tinted moisturizer to my fingertips, swirl to blend and then smooth over my face.

I repeat the process if I want more coverage. This seems more like a medium coverage foundation than a tinted moisturizer. I find that making my own tinted moisturizer using this and the Arcona blended together gives me the nicest finish, good coverage and no powder needed.

If you have oilier skin, this would probably work with just light moisturizer and maybe a clean primer. For the little amount of product I use, it’s worth the high price for the skincare benefits and coverage I get.

In summer I plan to use the same application method over the Skinceuticals physical fusion SPF50 or Elta MD SPF46.

Don’t know why everything I scan says Nordstrom…lol. I purchased this directly from Macrene Actives, who I have to mention has OUTSTANDING customer service!! I have their whole line except the lip plumper, which I haven’t replaced yet.

I’ve already explained in my other reviews how Dr. Macrene is a double board certified, highly respected, in demand, long list of celebrity clientele, widely published, NYC dermatologist, who grows the amazing certified organic ingredients for her products on her farm.

This is essentially skincare with coverage. There are 45 plant- derived actives in this lightweight, buildable tinted moisturizer. It’s scientifically proven and dermatologist tested to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles , reduce the appearance of blemishes and spots, smooth skin texture , and soothe and hydrate the skin over time.

It does all of this while providing a flawless canvas of makeup. This truly feels weightless and it’s hard to describe how it feels when you apply it because I’ve never used anything like it. It almost feels dry instead of really wet like some foundations or moisturizers.

Not dry as in dried out, just a drier type texture- in a good way. The coverage is buildable, but due to the consistency, I would say you can get medium coverage at best. It’s definitely more natural looking.

The colors are tricky too, so I highly suggest emailing them with a makeup free selfie in natural light to get shade matched because there are no returns. I purchased two shades and my first instinct was correct, so I have a second $165 one that I can’t use and need to find a home for.

This is a pricey product! All of her products are very expensive, but they absolutely deliver the results they promise, especially with consistency. Since this has a $165 price tag, I know it’s not in a lot of peoples budget, so I will say this: if you have the money, then it’s worth trying! Just get shade matched.

If it’s out of your budget, that’s ok! There are thousands of tinted moisturizers out there!.

I have been using this for a couple of years now. It has a beautiful finish. A little goes a long way with this as it is very pigmented. I would say it has medium to full coverage. It is buildable. The consistency is thick but it blends out beautifully and blurs imperfections.

I prefer it blended out as I like sheer foundations. This does not feel like makeup. My skin feels hydrated at the end of the day. It wears nicely for 6-8 hours on my mature normal to dry skin. It does not cling to dry patches and it does not settle into fine lines after you blend it out.

It sets down and does not have to be set with powder although setting it with powder helps with longevity. I love the skin care benefits. I have light/med olive skin and purchased the medium and it works great.

The web site recommended Light for porcelain skin tones, Medium for fair to light tan skin tones, and Deep for tan to dark skin tones but they have since expanded the shade range. I still use Medium.

Macrene Actives products are unscented which is why I did not repurchased the skin care. I am in the minority in that I like fragrance in my skincare. Probably because I use a lot of Sisley. I hope this review helps.
