Appears well made. I needed to add seat belt covers as cushioning to the body strap as it digs in. Plus the section under the armpit could use an extra bit of cushioning. Does give good shoulder coverage and feels supportive.

I purchased the McDavid Thermal Shoulder Wrap in the hope that it would provide the support that strapping was for a recently damaged AC joint. The support provided by the support was very good, and the simple Velcro strap adjustment gave me support that almost rivalled the tape strapping.

On the negative side the underarm comfort is terrible. Either the sizing is not accurate, there is a design issue or the wrap was designed for a circus freak. The underarm scallop is nowhere near deep enough for the shoulder cuff position above.

In my case my shoulder would have to be 3cm further down my arm. I measured my chest smack in the middle of medium (which I bought)but found the wrap bunched in the underarm and caused discomfort after wearing for more than 30 mins.

I don’t know if I could wear it for that long if I was active. Overall I’m still pretty happy though because for the periods I wore it the shoulder felt well supported and it suited the purpose for which I bought it.

The information, service and support given by your people was very good. The shoulder support is of good quality and comfortable to wear and indeed does give good support to the shoulder. I would have no hesitation recommending this product to my friends and family if they required this item.

If you have a good freestyle stroke these paddles are easy to use. In fact I was wondering if I really needed to use them cause of how easy I swam with them. What I found though is that towards the end of my workout when I’m tired and losing form, that’s when these paddles really work.

they let you know when you don’t do a good stroke. And I like that they don’t put as much strain on my shoulder as the bigger paddles I was using.

Although I didn’t find this set as “amazing” as reviewed by many all over the internet, this is a good set of paddles which helps me improving my technique. I actually use both this set and a regular set (either speedo or vortex) since I feel that each works on different set of mussels.

Overall I like this product and it is definitely worth the price.

As a coach and swimmer, I see great value in using this paddle style specifically to improve freestyle hand position from entry through recovery. If the hand position is not correct, the swimmer will feel resistance as the keel of the paddle will shift.

I highly recommend use of this paddle style.

Gives just enough support for kicking while allowing your body to remain streamline and balanced. Allows correct breathing technique for freestyle and breaststroke as well. Convenient – fits in swim bag.

I got this specifically for working my dolphin kick and for a smaller kick board in general. I am very happy with the choice. It’s small, lightweight and easy to use – particularly with the finger strap.

I love that it works so well below the surface when I’m practicing my dolphin kick – it keeps my neck from being pinched, which is a bit of a problem with the larger boards.

I use for masters swim team. It took a little getting used to since it’s so light weight and not like other kick boards. I am a crummy kicker and I am hoping this will help me. It doesn’t make kicking any easier, or make me any faster (lol) but it seems to put me in a more natural position.

It will be great for one arm drills too. It’s an easy addition to my swim toy bag.

This shoulder brace has helped me so very much with my pain levels. It keeps my shoulder joint close to my body and limits movements that result in excruciating pain. It is very easy to put on (I needed help with the initial fit – after that I just slip my arm into it).

The cross torso strap is easy to adjust with one hand and fits my frame nicely. I take it off twice daily for about 2 hours each time. While sleeping is still very painful, the brace certainly help with the levels of pain I experience when sleeping without it.

I’ve only had this about a week, but it is wearing well. The velcro is very strong and the entire brace appears to be well made. I wear it over a T-shirt with a flannel over that. This would probably be crazy hot it the warmer months.

While this is exactly as advertised, I was very concerned abut the bicep fit. I have ginormous old lady biceps and I’m not able to fasten the hook and loop bicep adjustment bands what so ever. They are too short and don’t even make it across to the fabric to hook on to.

I have to fold them back so they don’t rub up against my clothing and bra. There is a very flimsy mesh panel the attaches the two sides of the bicep support band but can’t say it really provides any support to my bicep and that is where part of my injury is.

It will require some modification which I’m disappointed I will have to do myself. I wish they would have provided some extension pieces like come with the hot/cold device I also purchased. Perhaps one of those will work.

have it on as I’m typing this and once I got used to the compression on my upper shoulder which was a bit painful at first, I do feel i have better support overall and hope it will help in preventing re-injury in my day to day doings while things heal.

I have just bought myself a new kayak and I really excited about healing and getting out there. I will come back in a few months with an update.

After having my rotator cuff & bicep tendon repaired I was left with weakness along with severe & painful inflammation in my upper arm. I found your shoulder compression brace & ordered it. I was nervous about the size because my arm has hanging loose skin from the extreme swelling.

I’m so happy it’s easy to put on by myself, it’s comfortable & most importantly it works. I’ve slept with it on as well as worn it all day. As soon as my arm starts to swell I feel the support of the brace but not the pain.

SUPER FOR EXERCISE, NOT SCUBA, BUT 13 Wide SIZING IS DIFFICULT I used a pair of Aqua Sphere microfins, now discontinued, in my exercise pool for 2 years and loved them. I liked them so well I tried them SCUBA diving in Costa Rica but while they were adequate for level swimming, they were too small on the surface or if I really wanted to go over and look at something.

When I lost one coming out of the ocean, I went looking for a replacement. I am 68 years old, with 13 wide feet that are a hard thing to fit. I ordered, on the theory that all it would cost would be some return postage: NGRFSHXL Sea Horse Fins XL (the box is labeled National Geographic “Snorkeler”) ASRFMH12 AquaSphere Microfin HP 11/12 HEDSFE11 Head Swin Energy Fins 11-12 The Sea Horse Fins fit the best, largely because they have a BIG TOE BOX that doesn’t crimp your toes when a “top of the size range” foot is wedged into them.

They are also the cheapest, and the design has a piece of plastic integrated into the plastic which makes them easier than “all rubber” fins to pull on. They work great. The others are ok, but feel much tighter at the toes on my feet.

Very high quality and such a nice colour. Perfect for sea training.

Great fit, comfortable and they give you legs a great low impact workout while swimming.

Bought this on coach’s recommendation. At first balked at the price but, having used it, can say it was well worth the investment. Swimming position, kick and a whole lot more make so much more sense now.

The brace has worked great to help support my daughters shoulder. She had a subluxation from a hit during basketball season followed by a few more over the next few months. Too busy with other sports for surgery so she worked on strengthening the muscles around the injury.

Sustained until the end of the following season when she took another hit that caused it to dislocate. The state tournament was the following weekend so we started looking for support solutions that would allow her to play.

This brace provided enough support to keep the shoulder secure but still allow range of motion for basketball. She took a few hard hits and did not experience any more subluxations or dislocations. Customer service was on point from Shock Doctor.

We live in a remote location and they were able to get it to us in enough time to fit and get used to it.

Based on what I have be told by other people, and what I have seen in a couple online videos, this is the most versatile shoulder support available. But it is complicated. I have not yet successfully adjusted it for support.

The manufactures should create an in-depth video on (1) the basics of putting it on and fitting it properly, (2) details on assessing what type of support your shoulder needs, and (3) details on how to adjust the brace accordingly (especially the “X” strap).

There are instructions included, but a video is worth 10,000 words. Until then, my Shoulder Support is useless. After I get sufficient documentation, this easily becomes a 5-star review, and I will be in position to complete this questionnaire.

Item is exactly what I needed once I transitioned out of the sling post shoulder surgery. It provides flexibility to promote arm movement with the brace of the shoulder to ease the pain whilst shoulder is weak.

The photo of this product is somewhat deceiving; it is a symmetrical pull buoy, one side is not smaller than the other as it appears in the photo. Regardless, this pull buoy has a good level of buoyancy for me (172 lbs) and it stays in place between my legs with minimal effort.

The material is also very comfortable against bare skin. No complaints; would buy another one.

This the best designed buoy I have ever used. I have been limited for a number of years to pulling without kicking because of hip and leg issues. This buoy fits well between my legs, stays put on turns and is very light weight in my swim bag.

I have not had it long, so I can’t speak to its durability. However, at this price, replacement won’t be an issue. Hope the manufacturer continues to make it and Swim Outlet continues to carry it.

Standard pull buoy, great for the triathletes. It is a comfortable fit and seems a little more buoyant than the other buoys out here. It’s a soft material and does scratch and punctures easily.

I’ve never used a compression cuff before and a had a hard time figuring out which one I really wanted. Luckily I made the right choice! The 2. 0 is the PERFECT cuff all around. Perfect size and just the right amount of compression.

Been slipping it on from time to time with my JM presses and it is a LIFE SAVER of the elbows. Honestly if you didn’t have sleeves but got 2 of these I feel they’d be a great replacement for a medium weight bench press or any other tricep movement.

I had been dealing with tendonitis/arthritis (or just plain elbow pain). I reluctantly took 3 months off to heal. My elbow pain subsided but not completely. I found these and I have had minimal pain in the elbow since returning to the gym.

So far so good. I am happy with the purchase and would recommend this product to anyone. I wear these just below the joint on my upper forearm. I’m 6’3″ 200lbs and went with the 10in. They are a bit tight, may go with the 11 or 12in if these wear out.

I had elbow pain on my right elbow that would not allow me to perform any curls. I tried different product did not work. I tried compression cuff 2. 0 size 11” and what a difference in just one day. I put it on and I could not feel the pain while doing curls.

When I took it off my elbow was not sore. I love it so much I’m ordering another for my left elbow. I put four stars because for some reason computer would not allow me to do 5 stars. But is 5 stars for me.

Very handy swimming aid for wild swimming in cold water. Easy to blow up with the non-return valve. A must have if you enjoy wild swimming and being a bit spontaneous – you can just leave it in the car and blow it up whenever you want.

I don’t know what the magic is in the ACE Brand Kinesiology Shoulder Support but they unbelievably WORK! I placed 1 support patch on each shoulder as instructed and wore for 2 days. There was no peeling off or bunching up of the patch.

Once applied it’s there! It has a strong adhesion to skin. The patch is constructed of flexible fiber material. It is breathable and water resistant. It has a small raised pressure pad in the center of patch.

I had surgery on my shoulder several years ago but still experience occasional pain & soreness. I typically use muscle rubs but they just don’t work all that well plus they’re messy & they smell bad.

On a recent trip to the dog park with my 3 furkids, I decided to try out the Ace Brand Kinesiology Shoulder Support & I was highly impressed! The way it’s designed to put targeted pressure on the shoulder really helped with my pain.

I bought this specific tube because there would be some smaller/younger children riding. I figured the sides and back would make it safer and it did. More advanced riders may find it boring but definitely good quality and fun.

Not at all what I expected from a O’Brien product. Doesn’t inflate to cover size and doesn’t whole air. Tried to find if there was a leak but didn’t see one. Order something else.

Our daughter just had her ACL replaced and Meniscus repaired. We rented a Game Ready from the surgeon for 3 weeks – it was big and a ton to deal with. and now at week 4 we are using the Squid and she is REALLY happy to have SQUID GO! This unit is tiny BUT really strong.

I love the preset options as well as the fact that this is SO much smaller and compact. This is a GREAT way to continue her therapy and to do it with compression and cold therapy that she finds so comforting.

This is so much more affordable AND allows her to take this with her to school to continue her recovery!.

HORRIFIC customer service! I ordered and received the Squid Go portable cold compression ankle system which is a great product. Because I was pleased with the ankle system I called Recovery for Athletes to order the leg/knee sleeve and cold pack insert as an additional item.

I was sent the wrong item. When I called to explain that I had received the wrong item Nick, the salesperson, said that he would get a return label to me ASAP. I ordered and paid for the correct item the same day that I received the wrong item.

One week later I had not received the return label or my refund for the wrong item they sent me. Nick stated because of COVID the distributor was not returning his emails. I asked about my refund and was told by Nick that once he could get the return label from the distributor I would need to pay to mail the package back to the distributor, take a picture of my receipt, send it back to him, and then I would be refunded.

Seems like the onus is completely on me FOR THEIR MISTAKE. Another several days went by without receiving the return label. I then contacted the customer service department and received the return label the same day; HOWEVER, when I sent my postal receipt to the customer service department and inquired about my refund I was told I would have to wait until Recovery for Athletes received notice from the distributor that the item was received.

10 days after I notified them of their mistake and STILL NO REFUND.

This machine is life saver ! RICE TX AT IT’S FINEST. I had a ski accident and tore my ACL /MCL. I had to prehab and tx my MCL prior to the ACL surgery! This machine took the majority of the post injury swelling that just lingered and worked it out.

I am new to open water swimming and wanted to start out right. Having researched, I opted for the Blue Seventy Sprint and I am very glad I did. The sizing is accurate and provides a great scope for different builds etc.

The wetsuit is high quality, very comfortable and easy on and off. The soft neoprene and soft areas around the arms are brilliant for comfort and action. Sigma sports got it to me very quickly too. All in all a great purchase experience and thoroughly recommended.

Only had 3 outings but so far: Great fit, fluid through the water, easy to take on an off, plenty of flexibility in the shoulders. Would like just a little more warmth as we’re heading toward winter.

I reckon it’ll keep me going into December, but not sure it’s up to February’s temperatures. Some of the seam glue looks a little tired already. I hope it holds.

I received this wetsuit about a month ago. I’ve used it a number of times in practice and on race day. The buoyancy is actually more than I expected/needed but it gives me the confidence in open water and keeps me in the correct swimming position, which is perfect as I am still quite new to open water swimming.

Fit is great – I am a little bottom heavy with a small top half so I was worried that it wouldn’t fit everywhere but BlueSeventy have got the ‘female style’ nailed. Size chart is spot on. I am 5’7 and 63kg, I went for the WML as I was worried my bum wouldn’t fit in the WM, I could of actually gone for the smaller size for a tighter fit on my top half but the WML is great for me.

The wetsuit isn’t flimsy, it would take quite a bit of effort to stick your finger through it so on race day when you are in a rush, it’s good to know that you can just whip it off without having to panic you are going to damage it.

Overall, an awesome first wetsuit and when it’s time to upgrade I will be staying with BlueSeventy.
