20 Best Supplement For Muscle Recovery And Growth (2023 Updated)

Been taking the Blue Raspberry Recharge about a month and a half and have noticed a big difference. Mostly in training rather than i aesthetic appearance but that I have noticed slight, just not as drastic, changes thus far.

I wanted to order more but the flavors I liked continued to be out of stock so I waited and they got a few flavors restocked relatively quickly. There are always discount codes and such which is a bonus, and I only got free standard shipping (7-10) business days, and my unflavored recharge came today… roughly 1-3 days after I ordered.

I think it has been about 2 days since I placed my order, crazy fast! That was unexpected and adds to one of the reasons I’ll continue to buy from Legion. I’ve found that although initially the creatine did not mix as well as I’d hoped, If I mix it, let it sit, and then stir it mixes far better.

The flavor is good and the blue raspberry was not too strong, which is nice when I am taking it everyday. I hope the unflavored one is just as good. I recommend this brand and this product !!.

I purchased the unflavored Recharge thinking that it would have pretty much no flavor to it. I had read many reviews saying that it mixed perfectly even in just plain water. But when I mixed it in just water, it had a full flavor of its own.

It has a sweet flavor to it when put in water that I really did not like. I also tried putting it in my chocolate-flavored protein shake and it ended up making the shake so gross. It changed the favor completely and made me nauseous.

I’m not sure if I may have gotten a flavored version put in an unflavored container, but I would not recommend the unflavored version, as it has a distinct flavor to it. And I do not like that “flavor.

” But I did notice the difference it made after using it, in terms of performance, and would try it in other flavors, in hopes that those would actually taste as they should.

its not my first time with cellmass, but with 2. 0 yes. I take it with my shake every morning and in my big shake (home made weight gainer, 400ml 2 % milk, 1. 5-2 scoop whey, 1 banana, 1 cup oatmeal,frozen strawberry, greek yogourt 4 spoon, 1 scoop cellmass => blended !).

Artic Berry taste really awesome and give a very nice taste to my chocolat whey. Its BSN so you dont exactly know how much of everything is in it (5 gr mix creatine, 3 gr glutamine. per two scoop). So dont buy it until it’s buy one get one free.

I workout 6-7 time a week (split training of course) I take a bunch of supp (whey,preworkout,bcaa all day long,carnitine,fish oil,multivitamine,zma. ) so im never shor more than one day or half. Its help me maybe getting more fuller.

but its not the 3 gr of glutamine that will change everything cause we need more than 3gr. So yes it’s a good creatine blend that taste good, dissolve quickly. no stomach issues. no gritty. no watter weight wich is good, because we all know that if you gain weight fast with creatine it’s because its all water ! Cons : prop blend (bsn as always) , would like having more glutamine , not a true 50 serving (25 real).

Ive been on this product a little over 3 weeks now. About 3 weeks before I began I went on a cutting diet while I cycled off supplements. I ended up losing 13 pounds in 24 days going from 214 to 202.

Three weeks after starting supplements and cell mass I have maintained the same diet and I am back up to 208. I associate most of this weight to weight put on from the creatine. I am still down 6 pounds from where I was two months ago, but all of my shirts fit smaller.

I feel and look larger than I have felt in about 2 years and I do associate this with my creatine product (cellmass). It is marketed as a “intra-workout” but that really does not make any sense. That is what amino acid supplements are for, not creatine.

It really does not matter what time of day you take creatine. Personally I take 2 scoops daily. One when I wake up in the morning and the second right before I take a pre-workout. It does not give me energy or make me any less sore, but this is not what it is meant for.

As far as a mass building supplement, I think this is at the top of the market. I used to take nitrix 2. 0 as my creatine supplement and do not feel as though it gave me the same level of gains. I will be buying again.

The only criticism I have of this product is the amount of red dye they have in artic berry. Seriously it is a little over the top, do not get the liquid on anything. It will stain your tongue and will permanently stain any cloths, furniture or counter tops.

Completely unnecessary the amount of dye. I will also try a different flavor next time.

Flavor: 9/10 I was getting to taste the arctic berry. The flavor was delicious. It was like a melody of different fruit flavors. The best mix I could describe it would be watermelon, cherry, and maybe another melon fruit? It was a refreshing taste though.

A lot of powder supplements make you cringe as they go down, but you could sip on this flavor of cellmass all day and be satisfied. Recovery: 10/10 I was very impressed with the recovery with this product.

Usually, I stay sore during the week. Which is a problem that has never been too much of an issue and can be ignored. But cellmass really helped me feel better each day. Soreness was almost completely gone in my muscles.

You sort of take for granted how good it feels to be able to work out each day and feel 100%. Cellmass 2. 0 is one of the more impressive creatines I have used. Endurance: 10/10 Wasn’t able to run as much because I suffered from bronchitis most the time taking the log, but in my lifting the effects were seen.

With most workouts, I was either able to add another set to each workout, or would at least add a few more reps. In bench press and most shoulder workouts especially, I add more sets and reps. Overall: 10/10 Very pleasantly surprised with Cellmass 2.

0. I have never been the biggest believer in creatine myself, but this has changed over the past few weeks. Cellmass 2. 0 has everything you would expect in a creatine, but with great results with it.

You get the recovery, the strength gains, the endurance, and it is paired up with great taste. Did not have any problems with bloating like some people do with creatine products. Cellmass 2. 0 has been one of the top products I have gotten to experience lately, and will be purchasing as an early birthday present to myself within the week.

I have chronic back issues, and usually pay for a lot of physical activity. But you can’t live your life not being active, so I’m always on the look out for things to help keep my body happy. But I do think the Clear Muscle does have something to do with it. I really do so the difference since I have added it to my supplementation routine. I am very encouraged by the Clear Muscle product.

I’ve also maintained most of my strength over recent weeks while leaning out. My overall impression of the product is good!.

I have been using this daily for 5 days. Obviously, too soon to say anything about results, but I can speak to Taste: Not off-putting – but I don’t drink this straight up. I mix in True Lemon, Orange or Lime with it + 24-32 oz of water (8 oz is recommended) and barely discern any flavor from this supplement.

I think you could add out to juice easily as well. Mixability: Terrible. It won’t blend at all, not with stirring, a blender ball, or vigorous shaking. It will dissolve over time, however, so my ritual is to mix it in my water bottle in the AM, while I am waiting for my coffee to brew, then after a couple hours it dissolves and is ready to drink.

Serving size: No scoop was provided, only that a scoop is 3. 14g which is a little over a half a teaspoon. With the adjustments I made to accommodate poor ability to mix-in and no scoop, I can still see myself making this a regular supplement IF it produces good results in my muscle tone.

I am an active female, 54, 5’9″ 155 lbs. Exercise 4-5 times/week (min) hot yoga, golf, weights, running, I change it up depending on the season and am looking to get rid of my menopot belly more than anything.

Am hoping this will help with that and, although I wish to drop about 10-15 more pounds (but gain muscle), I am using this in the hopes I will see improved muscle tone after lifting. TBD.

I just purchased this so cannot evaluate its effectiveness over time, but at least it’s a powder — so those who cannot easily swallow large pills (40 percent of the U. S. adult population) can take it.

It sure would be nice if Life Extension were to put more of its products in smaller pills.

I love Dr. Emil products! I’ve been taking his collagen for a couple months now when I saw they were introducing the fitness supplements and I knew I had to try them out. I’ve been really committed to working out this quarantine, but still suffering from DOMS even though I can’t hit the gym, but this post workout has completely changed my recovery.

Much better than the powder drink mix. All the ones i have tried have too much of a bitter taste. These just pop them in your mouth and swollow. no taste. Works just as good as the drink mix. These are making a huge difference in my workouts.

A lot of people are missing the point of this great product. The best every day BCAA is in powder form, however, the very large capsules provide a choice for 1) the traveling professional that can’t carry around the powder form 2) competitors that need to get their BCAA in with minimal water intake right before completion to assist with cramping.

If you look at the main amino acid profile of this MRM product, you will see it has the right proportion of 3 main aminos: Isoleucine, leucine, and valine (a very well thought out profile). MRM has some of the highest qualify fitness supplements in the industry and this one is no exception.

Since BCAA often have poor mixability I wanted caps. Having the glutamine in the same caps I thought would make it easier (one less thing to take). Well in fact it is worst. As mentionned those pills are huge, it wasn’t an issue for me but could be for some.

One portion is 6 pills, thats a lot and it comes pretty expensive in the end. You would be better off takin bcaa and glutamine caps SEPARATELY, it is much cheaper and the portions are 2 pills each (go figure) and allows for more flexibility.

Please excuse my forthcoming ramblings. First, I’m a 52 yr old white male, 6′ and started at 239 now down to 220. Since the first of the year I got serious about my training and throughout my life have trained seriously at times but not at length.

This may be the longest continual stretch of my life. Do Vitamins was recommended to me by my best friend who much like me yo-yo’s his training. We have both used various brands of supplements. Here is the trust part.

Since none of these are FDA approved, you have to use a combination of research, reviews, bro science and common sense. Although you pay a premium for Do Vitamins products, I’m lucky enough to be able to pay the extra and at least try to put the cleanest products I can in body.

Let the arguments commence as to any of their effectiveness versus plain good diet. I suppose the kicker is there are no magic “markers” that tell you something is working or not working. Even if the edge is purely psychological, it’s an edge.

So here’s what I’ll say. I use Pure Pump before, Post Pump after and Wonder Whey in between albeit sparingly as I get enough Protein through diet. I’ve added BCAA’s as well and have the Daily D ready for whenh the sun goes away for awhile with winter coming.

The war zone drink has destroyed my teeth, I have been in severe pain for days, the type of pain that nothing can subside, I haven’t properly slept in days, I can’t eat. And all because of a bottle and a half of that product.

It is not safe. If it doesn’t immediately hit you, it’ll get you eventually. It is absolutely not worth it. And it’s not just teeth my entire jaw, my cheekbones, even my ears are suffering. If it doesn’t stop, I will literally sue.

As usual, Redcon1 has the goods to push you past those sticking points in the gym (particularly if your natty) with this latest offering. Excellent strength and hard mass increase and I’ve also been experiencing better pumps and more explosive super sets.

No crash pushing past previous failure reps which is where you want to be for optimal stimulation of muscle tissue and thereafter lean muscle growth as you heal on a hi protein diet. Only other thing I’m using is MRE ready to drink shakes, BCAA’s and my absolute favorite vitamin complex Med-Kit by RC1 as well.

The total package as far as I’m concerned.

Overall, this is a solid intra and post-workout product. It mixes easily, without clumping or residue. The taste itself is quite good. I tried Island Punch Fusion, and was impressed. Most brands offer a fruit punch, so it is hard to really stand out with this flavor.

Nevertheless, I found Scivation’s offering to be one of the better versions I have tried. The flavor is light, tart, and refreshing. Xtend Elite does contain sucralose, but it doesn’t have the artificial taste that many products with sucralose have.

Xtend Elite also contains an electrolyte blend, which I appreciate during cardio or longer workouts. The PeakO2 Performance Blend is an interesting addition. I was a bit surprised to see some mushroom ingredients in the mix, and as an avid hater of mushrooms I was concerned.

Thankfully, no mushroom taste. This blend is supposed to increase power and improve oxygen uptake. Another interesting addition is Ashwagandha, which is described as a stress reducing agent. As far as effectiveness, it is always hard to judge with a BCAA product, but I enjoy having it to keep hydrated during workouts.

I’ve been taking the regular Xtend BCAA drinks for months so I wanted to try something different with the brand. The instructions say 1-scoop per 10-14 oz of fluid. I used 2-scoops in a 32 oz bottle.

That might’ve been my mistake. Halfway through the bottle I began to get the pins and needle sensation that oftentimes accompanies beta-alanine (an ingredient in the formula). It was like an intense rush that coursed throughout my body.

It went away after about 30-minutes but it was unpleasant enough that I poured the rest of the drink down the drain. When I did that, I also noticed that a good chunk of the powder hadn’t dissolved and was sitting at the bottom of my water bottle.

The original Xtend formula mixes very well with water in a short time, so this surprised me. The island punch taste was pretty good, though.

The taste of the Island Punch Fusion was highly delicious from first sip to last drop. There was hints of pineapple but mostly dominated by a sweet mystery fruit (i say mystery fruit because it was one I had never before) but very tasty.

I was able to get 1 scoop in a 1/2 gallon jug and the flavor still held its own but if u do the recommended 16oz, the flavor will really shine at that amount. Performance wise, muscle recovery was on point between sets to help keep dominate workouts and also after workouts, for muscle to recover faster to help get ready for the next day’s session (was able to add in an additional day of shoulders and workouts didnt skip a beat).

Price point is 30 serving for $40 which comes out to $1. 33 per serving which isnt bad considered the other goodies included, so certainly snag if there is a sale. Would highly recommend to everyone.

This is a good product. This product is not very popular for a couple of reasons. Most people have never taken products produced by Beverly. This is a shame. This is one of the best lines out there and has been around since the 60’s.

The other reason this product is not popular is because you have to swallow big horse pills and you have to take a lot. They are big and you have to take a lot because the product has such a large amount of product.

This product is a little pricey but worth the money. I would recommend you buy two bottles and take it for at least four weeks. I would also stack it with another creatine product. Remember to drink extra water while taking this product.

I see they now have a powder form available if you cant handle taking pills.

This is Beverly’s creatine blend supplement. I highly recommend this to everyone! Great product! I experienced good muscle pumps during workouts and my muscles remained fuller looking longer after workouts.

Increases vascularity. I also noticed that when I am taking Muscle Synergy I can maintain muscle mass better (the newest muscle gains) if I miss a few workouts due to work.

I am a college runner and this has always been my go to recovery powder. I am here about to purchase another supply. I wish they made bigger bottles because I run out so fast haha. Overall, it has felt like it makes a difference and I like the taste.

Initially I was rather skeptical of this product as its claims were rather unbelievable; however, after trying this product for over a week now I must say that this product lived up to it’s claims. Helps with sleep. After I take the sleep aid I go right to sleep in about 45 minutes to an hour. It makes you feel really tired. It doesn’t help with muscle growth that much. I little bit but nothing insane.

I’ve been a fan of this product since the early days when my buddy used to give me 31Muscle Recovery packets to sample. This is my go to after a long morning surfing or intense training. It definitely helps me feel replenished for the rest of the day and ready for another workout whether it be active recovery or another surf session.

This is honestly one of the better tasting protein powders I’ve ever had and I’ve been using them for over 30 years. It also doesn’t have that “fish food” smelling weirdness to the aroma or taste which lets you know that it isn’t full of crap you don’t need like shop floor dust used as filler.

Potent and stinky mucuna pruriens, a small amount of GABA and Valerian for relaxatioin, and also melatonin to set your internal clock. Strongly recommended for healthy adults only. It takes about a month to have noticable effects on muscular hypertrophy, but the first night you will likely feel very relaxed before bedtime as the GABA, Valerian and other ingredients enter your system.

Best combined with Metha Quad extreme for daytime workouts, , then ‘Growth’ sleep formula every night. For healthy adult males do approximately 10 sets of exercises per bodypart, working 1-2 bodyparts per day.

So far it’s been about a week using it. On the first night I took 3 pills as Instructed and Had some of the most VIVID dreams I’ve ever had. Literally. The only thing I didn’t like about the first night taking it was that when I woke up I had a slight red rash on my face so I figured 3 pills was too much to take so on my second night I took 2 pills instead and still had some vivid dreams and woke up without a rash so there you have it.
