20 Best Styling Products For Fine Curly Hair (2023 Updated)

I used to have 2b-2c hair in my 20’s. My hair was the healthiest it had been, chopping a lot of the weight out was finally a thing and I had the hair I’d always dreamed of. After some years, hormone changes and a few layers of home bleach jobs (that were pretty good efforts) the dryness from the bleach really took the curl out.

I lived with it for a few years and decided to start growing it out. Short story long, I thought I’d start trying some new products to see if I could vsco on the curl back. After a few false starts with lacklustre products and results, I decided to give Ouai Curl Creme a go.

Boy, am I glad I did! Not only does it smell delicious (but not overbearing), it really kicked those curls back into gear! I have to use a little more than I normally would, because about 2/3’s of my hair is still bleached, but with some scrunching and a little sprayed water to reinvigorate the curl on the dats after the first style, I can get a good 2c going and have it last for days! On the first day I can obviously feel the product in my hair a little, but it’s not sticky and it’s not heavy, which is most important.

It really has been a game-changer and given mr my old confidence back, as I never really felt like “me” when I didn’t have these curls. They’re my thing 😁 Truly, give it a go, it’s an excellent product, especially if you’re like me and have difficulty really getting that definition due to bleach and/or overly dry hair.

Oh! It isn’t drying, either, but I’d still suggest a little serum for shine, as it doesn’t get weighed down by using more than o e product, and I have quite thick hair ☺️✨.

I used Not Your Mother’s Kinky Moves Curl Defining Cream, but they recently changed their formula and I had to find something new. I really like this cream, but only on freshly washed hair. After washing, I comb it through, scrunch my hair, then add a gel and I get more compliments on my curls than I ever had.

It makes my curls silky soft and bouncy. Very defined. But day 2-3 is another story. My usual routine is to spritz my hair with a mix of water and conditioner and then add my curl cream to help revitalize and define curls.

This product doesn’t help with clumping, or with taming 2nd day frizz, so I’ve ended up with greasy looking, frizzy curls; it becomes easily weighed down for low-porosity hair. It’s hard to coax the curls together.

I really appreciate a fragrance free curl cream, but I’ll have to keep experimenting to see if I can find a way for it to work on non-wash-day hair.

This product is clearly a creme that is not shy to define, and give your hair a subtle yet noticeable shine. IMMEDIATELY after drenching my hair in water, and applying the product, I barely had to touch my hair, and the definition was VERY apparent.

Y’all, when I say, I was shook. I have never in all of my 21 years of life had a product instantly define my hair upon application. I barely had to finger comb. It for sure provides a nice element of moisture as well, and I find that the more I’ve used it these past couple of weeks, the softer my hair is getting.

I’m not 100% sure if it’s this product, or some of the other products that I’ve been using in my hair for the time being, but I do know that this is clearly the moisture and defining agent in the squad of hair products I’ve been using.

This product has chia & linseed oil, babassu oil, and coconut oil in it, which are clearly carrying the product and running so that it doesn’t even have to jog on it’s own. Babassu oil is known as an oil that promotes high moisture retention, which seals the moisture into your hair shaft (ideal for high porosity hair types), and you know lack of moisture retaining products in your haircare routine is one of the #1 causes for breakage.

Chia seeds are rich in fatty acids which work to not only penetrate your hair shaft (great for low porosity hair types), but seal in the moisture as well. Linseed oil is the same as flaxseed oil, which is high in vitamin E, and not only treats hair loss, but promotes growth.

For my dry scalp peeps, flaxseed oil also can be used to prevent dandruff, and can provide relief. If you have damaged hair, or chemically processed hair, this is very ideal, since it has great moisture retaining properties, and it seals damaged cuticles.

My only con is that I have been noticing slight flaking on certain occasions, but that happens with whenever a bad combo of products is mixed. I highly recommend!.

Not unlike my other ‘curly girls’, I’ve spent a small fortune over the years trying what feels like a gazillion different products that never did what they promised. After reading all the reviews, it became obvious that the majority of those who left a negative review must not have read the directions prior to use(no judgements, we’ve all done that) – it’s SUPPOSE to make your hair crunchy, stiff, & as 1 person described, the ‘wet look’.

They were skipping the final step of, what Curlsmith calls ‘breaking the cast’. That’s when you take your fingers & scrunch the curls therefore breaking the hardened cast that keeps the curls. This is the BEST product for defining my curls, but I do believe it helps when you use this in conjunction w the other products from Curlsmith.

My hair is colored, dry, frizzy, over 75%white & VERY long(past my butt), with medium curl. Curlsmith is the ONLY system that, IF directions are followed, keeps my curls w out frizz, gives my hair volume I thought was only possible if I cut off a lot of length, gives me beautiful curls for 6 days, BUT the key for this product to work is 1) following the directions the WHOLE WAY THROUGH 2) use as part of the Curlsmith system 3) do NOT use on dry hair, your hair needs to be WET, NOT DAMP, but WET- I use them all IN the shower.

When l say ‘part of the Curlsmith system’, you really only need 4 of their products, &they have many products in each category to help you personalize for your particular issues/curl type. For ME, their wash/conditioner is wonderful & I suggest it for EVERY one.

Then I use either In Shower Style Fixer or Weightless Air Dry Cream(do NOT wash out). The final product I use BEFORE I get out of the shower is THIS product OR Curlsmith’s Hydro Style Flexi Jelly. These 2 products work very similar to each other; let hair COMPLETELY DRY then scrunch out the cast(that’s the step a lot of reviewers seemed to skip).

The 4th product, 1 I also recommend for ALL curly girls, is Moisture Memory Reactivator- the only 1 of the 4 I use that is meant for DAMP hair- it’s amazing, the curls just seem to pop back out of nowhere! The final 1 suggestion to all my curly friends out there.

WRAP YOUR HAIR BEFORE BED! At the VERY LEAST order a silk scrunchie(it won’t leave dents in your hair, lots of times all I have to do is take my hair down, shake it out, &go) &loosely put your hair in a messy pony tail before bed.

It’s best to wrap a silky scarf around it to stop the frizzies, but I don’t always do that either. I love ALL Curlsmith products when they are used together! Using them independently doesn’t give the same results, I tried it.

I use to hate my curls, NOW I LOVE THEM!.

The gel is great. My hair loves it and all it does is enhance my 2b/2c hair, BUT the dang jar packaging of the 8oz is a child of the devil. I have feared dropping this and the multi-tasking conditioner in my shower and loosing it all down the drain.

TONIGHT IT HAPPENED. It is not how I wanted to spend my wash day, cleaning the shower with a half done head of hair because this gel is very slippery and clings everywhere. This is dangerous combination in the shower, especially when you can’t see.

I wear glasses and cannot see anything but a blur without them. I’m legally blind without my glasses and have feared dropping this dang jar. I was carefully trying to put the lid back on and down it went.

I don’t have a place to rest it to put the lid on that isn’t under the shower head, so I had to do it while trying to hold the product in my hand to use and put the lid on. I lost it all and what was left of my wash day sanity.

I will not be buying this product for a while as it is expensive for a gel, but once I’ve used up some others, I’ll only buy the 16oz for the pump packaging alone. If the jar packaging was a way of getting people to buy more because they drop it, great job marketing team.

Us visually disabled people cannot stand jar packaging for hair and face products for this very reason, plus I have no idea where it went because I cannot see to find the dad-blast-it thing. Please consider becoming a company more aware of the consequences of packaging types on persons with disabilities.

Jar packaging also causes all kinds of issues with contamination and loss of nutrients due to the open nature of the jar.

I started out using this product for twist outs and it works great. After using my leave in conditioner, I apply this in small sections, use my denman brush to smooth my hair and remove any stubborn tangles, and twist! It creates nice defined curls that aren’t crunchy or too dry with the perfect amount of hold.

The definition lasts for at least week, and I can make the style last longer if I leave my hair in twists for a few days before separating them. I recently started doing wash n gos and this product helped my natural curls pop as well.

I’ve found I do need to use a cream styler and oil (LCO method) before using this gel for the best wash n go results; otherwise, my curls are dry and I experience more shrinkage. The product provides definition and hold I can’t get from a cream styler alone.

The product smells nice out the bottle, though the scent isn’t lasting once it’s in your hair. The gel does have a clumpy but slippery consistency, so it’s helpful to emulsify it by rubbing it between your hands before applying it to your hair.

While this is more expensive than other products out there, it works consistently for me no matter the style, so I think it’s worth it. I have thick, medium length, 4a hair that tends to be very dry.

I tend to be more heavy handed with product.

After reading the reviews, I decided to purchase this. I’m so glad I did. I had previously been using Pattern’s styling cream but the SMELL!! I couldn’t get past it. It worked great but the smell was just too strong.

Smelled like a bouquet of flowers which I do not enjoy in my hair. This stuff on the other hand smells AMAZING! Has a fresh out of the shower fragrance that’s not too empowering. I have thick hair with natural waves.

I used this stuff right out of the shower and my hair dried to natural looking beach waves! I would not recommend using this anywhere near your scalp because you will look greasy. It’s very light and makes my hair feel super soft! I will forever use this as long as Living Proof continues to make it.

The mini size is actually a decent size and a little bit goes a long way! If you’re hesitant on buying this stuff, go for it!!!.

I love Living Proof products. Most don’t fail to nourish and hydrate my hair. But I was skeptical about using the curl enhancer since I have loose wavy hair. On top of that, I’m not really a hair product person, in general.

Like if I’m styling my hair, I’ll use a heat protectant and do a mask or treatment on occasion, but I don’t typically use a product post-shower on the reg. This was a game changer. My hair had waves I typically can only achieve after styling with a heat tool.

And it looked super healthy and conditioned. The luster and luminescence are reminiscent of the efficacy of Kerastase products, which I j’dore. The fragrance is beautiful, similar to other Living Proof scents – light, clean, fresh.

I’m considering adding this to my daily routine; the only caveats are the price and my having to expand my beauty regimen.

I absolutely love this product! Texture, smell, and performance are all on point. I have long thick hair with a natural wave and usually products like this don’t do much for me. But I needed a new leave-in and it this was on sale so I figured I’d give it a shot.

I’m beyond glad I did because using this in combination with the LP Curl Moisturizing Shine Oil has made my waves tighter, softer, and more defined than ever before. In terms of process I work 5 pumps through damp hair and then scrunch until it looks like I want it to.

I then go in and repeat the process with 3 pumps of the oil. On non-wash days I dampen my hair with water and then work 3 pumps of each through. I can’t promise this will work for you, but I recommend giving it a try because if it does it will make your hair soft, shiny, and mermaid pretty.

I’m a 62 yr old woman with naturally curly hair past my waist. My hair, not extensions. I don’t blow-dry my hair or use curling implements. Every once in a long while (like 5years) I will use my ceramic flat iron just to have a different look for an occasion.

But I’m a wash-and-wear woman. I live in Florida, and had not yet found a product that kept my hair from frizzing. I’ve used PM products in the past and liked them. Especially the Super Skinny Serum.

So when I came across this product at a salon I decided to give it a try. It keeps my hair smooth without weighing down the curls. Once dry it can be a bit “crunchy” like a lot of leave in products. But i’ve found that gently scrunching my dry curls breaks it up, and leaves my hair soft, shiny, and curly.

Unfortunately, as with other reviewers, I find small chunks of white in my hair after applying, even with pumping it into one of my palms and then vigorously rubbing my palms together to warm and emulsify the product.

With as much hair as I have, combing through my wet curls and picking out the chunks is tedious. Will it keep me from using the product? Doubtful. Simply because it really makes my hair look lovely. However I may have to resort to using it only for special occasions, until the problem is solved.

I have 2c mid back length hair. I tried this product alone without any other products. It smelled good while applying but left no other scent once dry. I scrunched this in and allowed to air dry. Once my hair was completely dry there was no defined curls.

It wasn’t crunchy. It seemed to weigh my hair down. I tried using less the next time and still no results I was looking for. There was less frizz but no definition. Maybe as a frizz tamer but not for definition.

This is my favourite product! Because of my dry curly hair, which is prone to frizz, I use five products (including a Paul Mitchell shampoo, and a conditioner of another brand) whenever I wash my hair.

This is the last one I use and is the one I rely on most. If I don’t use it, I don’t get the result I want. My hairdresser even applies it for me after washing and cutting my hair. This is a terrific product for curly hair if you want a soft hold without crunch/crackle – and that soft curl is what I get after I comb my dry hair with a wide-toothed comb.

I have type 2b/2c hair and use products that encourage and enhance my natural curls to give me more volume. Due to PCOS, I lost about 2/3 of my hair and I’m extremely careful with what I have left! I don’t brush my hair and only comb it before washing to get any tangles out.

I use a cleansing conditioner, curling product, scrunch my hair, and let it air dry. I’ll occasionally use heat tools but not often. All that being said, I did not particularly like this Biolage Curl Defining Elixir with my usual routine nor was I impressed by the outcome.

It has a clear, gel-like consistency that’s on the thinner side but felt sticky after applying. I found that it did not help my hair curl much at all and instead dried rather lanky and weighed down. It also left with sticky hands when I did, occasionally, touch my hair or run my fingers through some parts when restyling.

Boo! However, I’m giving it 3 stars because although it’s far, far from my go to for natural air dried styling, this product was awesome when used for heat styling. I curled my hair with my Dyson curler and I had volume, body, and curls galore for 3 days.

A bit more on the overkill side since I looked a bit like I had a Farrah Fawcett do but I think I’m going to have to practice with it a bit more to get the right temp and time to use with it. I intend to continue using this curling Elixir when heat styling only and might consider buying it again just for that use alone.

I REALLY hoped and wanted to love this but it doesn’t work for me. While the tube says ‘medium hold’ I have to disagree as this was definitely a light hold on my hair. I have natural 2c/3a curls and need more holding power if I’m going to try to get past day 1 curls.

The product smells great and had plenty of slip getting it applied onto my hair. I only used this product so I could provide a 100% honest review, however I believe by cocktailing this with a higher hold gel it might have great potential.

I was impressed while diffusing because my curls were popping and looked great, but once my hair finished air drying it was sooo soft and flat on my crown. I’m used to a bit of “crunch” to scrunch out but there was no cast using this gel.

I was able to get to day 2 and 3 hair by sleeping in a loose high ponytail and refreshing with water and mousse, but it’s baby soft and not the defined look I prefer.

Overall satisfied with this. I don’t usually use gel like products for my hair because I don’t like the “crunchy” texture. Even though this does have a “crunchy” texture, it disappeared on the next day and hair remained soft and shiny.

I don’t think this is really medium hold, seems very light to me, which is better for my hair since it is thinner. My hair is not so curly, but more wavy. And when my hair is long, the waves are really open and loose.

This added a lot of shine to my hair and held frizz pretty well. I have very frizzy hair, so I was not expecting much there and was pleasantly surprised. Rather than using this alone, I think it may become an addition to my hair routine which usually requires more than one product to look good.

But if in a hurry, alone works great also! I already love the smell of Biolage products, so that is a plus!.

This product has some huge pros and huge cons. My hair is fine but dense, long, and is becoming wavy. It’s been straight my entire life, but I’ve just realized that little bends that I’ve been brushing out of wet hair were actually new waves.

I tried this product and it was magical. The little bends in my hair air dried into loose spirals. I was super excited. Then I did more research and realized that this product contains non water soluble silicones, which are pretty bad for hair long term.

For that reason, I won’t use the product again even though it made my hair look great. I think continued use would have a damaging effect. I really hope that Aveda reformulates this product without silicones.

I would buy and use it in a heartbeat.

I became obsessed liquid gold after receiving the small size via Beauty Loop. I didn’t think it work work for me bc I only have a slight wave on my hair and besides I wasn’t seeking to define curls as such.

But what I have desperately wanted for years is an affordable leave in conditioner with added keratin for my long blonde hair with highlights. Who knew I’d hit the jackpot by trying this curl enhancer.

The ends, sides and fringe are the areas I target before I blow dry and straighten, I get even better results if I have time for my hair to partly dry naturally before stylings The large tube will last ages because you only need a small amount.

Well worth the price. Hairs feels so soft and smells beautiful. So happy!.

I have 2b/2c hair that is often weighed down by products, so it is a challenge to find something that helps define my curls but is still light enough to keep them soft. I kept seeing rave reviews for this curling jelly, but assumed it was more for curlier or coily hair.

I decided to take a chance and try it and I am kicking myself for waiting so long. All I can say is wow. exactly what I have been looking for all these years. My curls are really soft, well-defined, and are popping! They seem to hold their definition all day and with little to no frizz.

I will definitely be repurchasing.

I loved this product. My wash n go was super defined and it wasn’t crunchy once it dried. It gives a lighter hold than your normal gel and I didn’t have any flaking. It has good slip and my hair was soft when it dried.

It will flake if mixed with the wrong products every product doesn’t mesh together good. If you plan to mix this with another product I recommend putting a small amount on your wrist 1st to test. If it lumps up on you don’t put both on your hair it’ll flake.

It has a pleasant smell and didn’t take as long as a heavier gel to dry.

I pair this with Kenra’s Airdry Cream with great results. My hair is high porosity and takes forever to dry. I also live in a high humidity location. That extra dry time caused the curl cream to struggle when used alone resulting in frizz.

Additionally the weight of my own hair left my curls without volume on top. I knew it wasn’t the product so I paired the curl cream with air dry cream. Pairing the airdry cream with the curl cream helped the curl cream define and hold better while eliminating the frizz.

I get lots of compliments when I use these two products together.

I searched for almost 20 years to find the perfect “potion” mixture for my hair. I’m sure a lot of curly haired individuals out there can empathize with this struggle. Some creams were too heavy, left my hair crunchy with buildup, etc.

I’d tried every brand on the market, from drug store to higher end products (ouidad, devacurl, redken, Paul Mitchell- basically any top rated curl brand) if you have fine, curly& color treated hair, I would highly suggest this product.

I have been using for 7 years now and will continue to have this as part of my daily regimen. My routine: out of shower- put on it’s a 10 keratin leave in, Kendra cream and dry with diffuser. Finish off with pueology shining hair drops for color treated hair and awapuhi anti frizz hairspray.

I grew up with a mom with stick straight hair and it took me so long to figure out what was “just right” for my routine. I hope this helps someone else out there 😊.

IšverstiShow in original languageI have few qualms with this Curling Cream. It gave definition, and I MEAN definition. The smell is okay, I don’t prefer these types of smell but to describe, it’s kind of cologney.

It does what it says, it’s CURLSSS but my only problem with it is, every time I apply it to my hair, even with repeatedly spraying my hair with water, it makes some sections of my hair feel like straw, its just that weird feeling you get when the hair feels like bone dry.

I’ve tried different ways to avoid it but it always does that. The feeling goes away after layering it with a gel but I personally feel that shouldn’t be a result of the process. If you want a curling cream get it, it’s good, I just would beware of that feeling and take measures for a smoother application.

I digress though, everybody’s hair is different. I used it often but haven’t used it recently, I’m on the hunt for a new/better one. Final thoughts, I recommend this to anyone who wants to find out if they have curls cause THIS will do it, you just have to test it out yourself to scope out your experience.

Definitely not crunchy or hard. My daughter has a top of 3A bottom 3B curls. Her hair is also more fine. I will say this product is fairly heavy on her hair so we don’t use much. It does have Cocoa Butter Shea Butter.

It has a very light smell to it. I think it would be decent for some but it’s just to heavy for my daughter hair to repurchase. Does come in a hefty 12oz container.

Right out of the shower, he uses this and moisturizing oil, plops overnight, and I have never seen his curls so happy.

For my hair, it was amazing for moisturizing but was too heavy for my curls. Again, it literally says on the bottle but I thought I would try for fun. We’ve tried 3 products from this company so far and we are probably going to be forever customers.

The ones we have are curlsbot approved, smell incredible, and feel amazing. I cannot praise them enough.

I love trying out new curly hair products and sometimes it takes some trial and error to get the right amount or application technique, but I was so happy with the results with this curl defining cream from the first use.

This is definitely one of the best curl defining cream products I have ever used and I have consistently had good results with it. For reference I have fine textured 2C/3A curl pattern hair and I like products that enhance the definition without weighing down my hair too much & sacrificing volume, which I feel this product did well.

I applied it (as I typically do with cream products) on soaking wet hair under gel and diffused it dry. A little goes a long way on my hair type and I used a pea sized amount on two sections with good results.

This product has a pleasant scent that isn’t overpowering. I appreciate that this product is formulated without sulfates, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, etc.

as many of these ingredients are ones that I try to avoid for my curls. I also appreciate that this product comes in recyclable packaging. The price point of this product is higher than I usually pay for similar products but because a little goes a long way and my results were good, I would consider spending this amount on it.

I will continue to use and would recommend to others.

I received this as a sample to try out, and let me say, as a natural curly haired girl I am always looking for a new holy grail curl product. I have tried some of the other Moroccanoil products in the past but this is my personal favorite I’ve tried so far.

My first time testing this product, I applied it by itself after my usual wash and go. After letting my hair air dry, I noticed my curls had great definition and I was immediately excited. I went about my usual schedule and was pleased to see my curls still stayed together throughout the course of my day.

It also made my hair superrr soft which is always a nice addition. Although this product is great for defining your curls, I had to give it 4 stars as I found it was lacking in the hold department and it did not do much to combat additional frizz.

I love when leave-in products put a slight cast over your curls, as I find that helps tremendously for day 2 and day 3 curls. If you prefer a little more hold like me, I would strongly recommend following this up with a styling gel-type of product.

I have gotten so many compliments on days I work this product into my routine. While this curl defining cream is not quite a holy grail leave-in that will replace all of your other products, it is a wonderful addition to your curly hair routine.

Y’all talked me right into it! I have used OGX Curling Perfection for several years and was quite satisfied but after reading a week’s worth of reviews for Morrocanoil Curl Defining Cream, I decided to give it a shot and made a purchase from Sephora.

My hair is fine, dry and naturally curly and I do mean CURLY. I blow dry to ease the curls a bit as drying naturally leaves me with very tight coils. I received the Morrocanoil yesterday and used it, following the same wash condition regimen as always, and using the same amount of Morrocanoil as I would of OGX.

First thing I noticed was how much longer my hair looks! The Morrocanoil results in looser, less sproingy curls than I get with the OGX and that’s a win for me! The cost for Morrocanoil is much greater, though in hindsight, I could have used less product – not enough less to even out the cost per ounce, but less.

The Morrocanoil did leave a film behind, somewhere between greasy tacky, but not intolerable; I would liken it to the same feeling I get from sea salt spray. All said done, I do love the look I get from the Morrocanoil but I’ll probably save it for going out and stick with the OGX for daily/work wear, simply due to the cost.

It took several attempts to make this product work for my 3b shoulder length hair. After washing, I sqweeze much of the water out with a tshirt. It takes quite a good dollop of curling custard for each side of my head, work it in very well with your fingers, avoid the scalp.

I add twists all over, scrunch it again lightly with my wet tshirt then I do not touch my hair for an hour. Next, blow dry using a diffuser, still not breaking the cast with my hands but I do push clumps of hair up to my head with the diffuser.

When almost dry, I hand-scrunch and go! The hold in this product is beyond anything I’ve used and I’m 64 so have been dealing with curly hair for a long time! Yes, it’s crunchy but it’s easily scrunched out.

I don’t scrunch the cast if I’m going to bed but wait until morning. I don’t get any white flaking at all.

I have been using KKCC for many years now and I can say that it is a consistent, well-made gel. It is also a classic film forming gel, so it may start out crunchy, but will soften and hold your wash n’ go once the cast is broken.

I have med-high porosity hair (4a shaped coils/curls). It has always had it’s critics but I find that it is a gel with a learning curve. It’s a balance of gel and water. You will get flakes or blobs of gel in your hair if you don’t work with water during application–not a lot of water but enough to activate the gel and evenly coat hair strands.

I also use another gel that Target sells–UFD Curly Magic. Both are solid, consistent film forming gels. They will lock in the moisture for long-lasting wash n’ gos. I purchase the large size in both, though, I’m not sure if you can get the larger/jumbo size at Target.

Just. Wow! I spent my whole life not knowing my Curly Girl hair needed any attention at all. And having young kids. I just gave up on my hair. Didn’t have time to care. They are older now, and. I learned about my hair.

I bought this system. and it is expensive, and never regretted it! My hair has never been so Soft, so Hydrated. thats an actual thing. and so Awesome! This system has really helped me understand hair isnt just a natural winter hat, or a wind sock at the beach.

Hair has needs, especially Curly Hair. Royal Locks has been my gift to myself. Even my husband said he didn’t know how curly and beautiful my hair was. I Love This Stuff!!!.

I’ve tried countless mousse and serums for curly hair over the years. They either way your hair flat or leave it looking and feeling very crispy! Royal locks makes my hair soft and shiny and looking like my curls are on steroids! This product defines your curls and leaves them soft and bouncy! Definitely going to order more!.

I was skeptical because I’ve tried so many different products but this stuff really, truly works!! My hair stays so curly all day long!! I don’t have naturally curly hair , it is a perm in it a little lower than shoulder length and I’ve had so many issues and it just seemed to bring the life back to the perm and the curls are beautiful and it really lasts all day I am definitely going to reorder!!.

My hair was always straight, but not that great, sleek straight. I fought this so hard for years and years! I have a bathroom cabinet full of non-working 100% guaranteed straightening and smoothing products.

One morning I didn’t do my hair right away and when I went back to the bathroom to do it, I saw that it was now actually curly. I guess that is part of the getting older hair!? I was intrigued and decided to go with it.

Using various products that I had on hand enhanced the curl, then one day I saw this Curl Care Defining Styling Cream by Lange and purchased it. Soooooo good people! Everyone that knows me thought I had gotten a perm, new people that I meet assume that I have always had curly hair.

Totally helps with frizz and gives a nice curl. After your hair is dry, flip your head and fluff it out, you’ll love it!.

I do not like it. It did not curl define my hair the way that I had wished it had. Even thought I tried different amounts on my thin natural curly hair, all it did was weigh it down. I probably will not be buying any more hair care products.

I love the styling irons and brushes. The shampoo and conditioner that I ordered, I had to take the cap off to get the product out. The bottles were too difficult to squeeze. I sent a request to your customer service department to see if you had or could make the bottles more manageable for customers with arthritis and NEVER heard a response.

I have had type 1 diabetes since age 11 and I am now 58. I have had 15 surgeries on my hands due to trigger finger, and carpal tunnel and the diabetes therefore it makes it very difficult for someone like me to squeeze those small bottles made of hard plastic.

I have very curly hair but it is very fine so my frizz is outrageous unless I use products to weigh it down. but not too much to where my hair loses body. My daily routine was condition in the shower, conditioner that I leave in to weigh down my hair and get a brush through it, then a bit of gel to define my curls.

Once it dries, I fluff my hair to make it not crunchy from the gel. NOT ANYMORE! This curl cream has simplified my routine! Condition in the shower then curl cream is all I need afterwards! It acts like a leave in (so I can get a brush through it), but also defines my curls so I don’t need extra products! It is super lightweight too! My hair looks fuller, healthier, softer and since it is only 1 product compared to the 2 I was using, it is absolutely worth the money! I am soooo happy I tried this product!.

I really love this product. It gives a gentle hold and volume to the natural waves of my fine hair. Zero crunch and a natural feel. I got this because a lot of curl products are too heavy for my fine hair and just leave it looking clumpy or greasy – this definitely doesn’t! My hair’s only jawlength, so there’s not too much weight for the product to contend with.

You might want something stronger for longer hair. Perfect for shorter, fine hair though!.

I bought this product to enhance my natural waves and wanting to be a curly girl. I was sold instantly on the smell initially it’s divine! After washing my hair and towel drying it I applied the product and scrunched it in I got the waves but my hair felt really awful, looks good but doesn’t feel great.

For a better feel in your hair, use only on damp hair not on dry hair it must be damp. Killer waves I have. Buy this product yes for the smell and the waves.

Unfortunately this product didn’t work for me at all. I have fine wavy-curly GREY hair. I used the product as directed and my hair became extremely DRY and stuck out every where. It did not feel soft and my waves & curls were gone.

I like my hair soft, curls and waves defined and frizz free if possible. I am not sure why this product did not work for me. I was excited to get it. The bottle also leaked.

Everything about this brand is amazing! The product is moisturizing and great slip. I do not experience any product buildup or flakiness. I will definitely recommend this gel to anyone who is looking for a great gel for their curly hair.

I absolutely am in LOVE with this brand. This product is one of my favorites. Using it usually when I want to slick back my natural hair or add some shine to mg hold. It provides the hold I need but gives my hair such definition and makes it so soft.

I’ve been trying new products because my hair has changed texture in the past couple years. My old, heavier gel (eco-style) wasn’t working as well on parts of my 3c-4a coils. This isn’t the magic potion I’d been hoping for but it does a good job on the more loose parts of my hair.

I would compare it to a homemade flaxseed gel. My sons have much looser curls and I use it on them. One is very Protein sensitive, though, and it doesn’t seem to do much for him. I don’t think I’ll buy this again just because of the price.

It’s easier and cheaper to make your own flax gel.

I’ve used this product on freshly washed and conditioned hair 4 times now. I’m still trying to find the right amount product for my hair. I like the smell and how soft it makes my hair feel but it’s still not controlling the frizz in under layers in the back, despite applying it on various ways.

I think the pump should be changed to a pump that doesn’t require you to pick up and grip the bottle because when you already have product on your hand from applying to the first section it’s next to impossible to pick up, grip the bottle and push down on the little pump with your finger.

A pump that allows you to leave the bottle on the counter and push down on the pump would work much better. Like a lotion bottle pump. I’m still working to love this product. The shampoo and conditioner arrived today so maybe that will make a difference.

I thought I’d gotten into a routine with my mixed race wavy hair when a stylist told me I was just weighing it down with conditioners that were too heavy for me. Along with trying out a lighter shampoo and conditioner (not LUS) I tried out the LUS wavy styling product.

It works great. My waves are shiny and have great definition without excess volume. Refreshing with a spray bottle of water and a little product is an easy routine. I think I was over moisturizing before to make my hair more manageable.

But with a reliable styling product like this I don’t have to do that anymore. I’m experiencing less scalp irritation as well now that I’m not overloading with conditioners.

No apelmaza y además quita bastante el frizz. Yo aplico muy poquita y tengo bastante cantidad de pelo. Eso sí, lo aplico desde muy arriba, pero sin llegar a tocar la raíz. , y lo hago boca abajo o ladeando la cabeza a ambos lados.

I have been on my curl journey for around 9 years at this point. I’ve tried most products on the market over the years, but love to trial new combinations. So when I saw that only curls were making a Mousse, I was interested to see what it might do to my hair, especially since having positive results from other products in the range.

I have never used Mousse to create/ encourage curl and volume. Largely as I used it when I wore my hair straight and I hated the consistency. So I was a bit apprehensive. But I shouldn’t have been because I love it!! It was everything I hoped it would be.

I have volume I haven’t had for literally years. I didn’t even realise how flat my hair sat until this product. I have fine hair but a lot of it, and I have used it both alone and with the strong gel.

Based on the results, I personally need the gel as well, or my frizzies get frizzies! With the addition of the mousse to my routine, my hair is gotten curlier than ever before. And those curls are more bouncy, not weighed down, and have longevity in between wash days.

I use it alone as a refresh product next day; really perks up any tired curls. My fringe needed a trim before I used this mousse, as you can see, it doesn’t need trimming now! My curls are stronger and more resilient and I am definitely a mousse convert.

I love my curls in a way I never thought possible. Anyone rocking natural curls needs to try this product (and a fair few others in my opinion) But it’s a fab mousse and I would purchase again in a flash.

I did a full wash routine using Only Curl products and styled with only the Volumising mousse. This was the first time trying this product. I have fine hair with low density so getting volume is a challenge.

I applied 2 pumps for my whole hair. I was very surprised at how soft my hair felt after drying. I didn’t have any crunch, I did air dry and finished off using a diffuser. My hair has some serious volume and my curls are nicely defined.

My hair feels light and not weighted down like I have been with previous styling products. I am really pleased with this performance of this product and just how much volume my curls have. I have only dreamed of having this volume in my curls and this is no exaggeration.

Highly recommend this.
