Best Slicer For 3D Printing (2024 Updated)

I know I could’ve spent less on something comparable but after doing research, many of the cheaper machines seemed to go off the trial by error method of success. Requiring hours of fine-tuning and set-up to get a flawless print was something I did NOT have time for.

I wanted to be able to press print and not have to worry about anything else. I didn’t want to spend more time tinkering with it than actual printing. I just wanted it to work out of the box the first time because after reading many reviews, it seemed that the most annoying thing about 3d printing is when you’re 5 hours into a print and something goes wrong.

Not only does that waste a lot of time but it also wastes material. I’m super happy with my purchase for a few reasons. The first being the fact that it does exactly what I expected, producing high-quality prints with no hiccups.

At the time of this review, I’ve printed over 100 prints and have over 75 hours of print time. All have come out fantastic, although I’ve run into a few times where the print pops off the bed, it wasn’t too bad, all I had to do was increase the bed temp.

The second reason I decided on this one was due to the fact it was made by a well-establish company that makes a bunch of really reliable tools, some of which I already have owned for several years. It’s a company I’m familiar with and I had a good inclination that if I had any issues they wouldn’t hesitate to make things right.

It was also apparent that many schools incorporated these printers into their classroom where they would encounter a lot of use, I figured if it could handle a classroom it had to be built well. I love the fact that I didn’t have to buy any special software too, I know I’m missing out on a few features that you get when you pay but the Dremel print cloud that classrooms use is perfect for me, an added benefit for sure! I love how I can view the print live from my computer to keep an eye on things without having to constantly walk downstairs and it’s great to have something so compact and contained, I don’t need to worry about it getting all dusty after sitting for a while.

It leaves little room for upgrades because it pretty much comes with everything you could need right from the factory. Don’t get me wrong, I know you could buy a printer for much cheaper and add to it to make it perform similar or better than this one, but the real value I see is that everything is already done for you and it all intergraded.

To be transparent, I’ve been waiting to write this review for close to a year now as I did have a small issue with my printer which would rarely occur after the print was complete. I contacted Dremel about it and I must say, I couldn’t be happier with how I was treated.

They ended up sending me a completely new printer and after using it for a few months things are great. My decision to go with Dremel was reassured by this action because I knew they would stand behind their product and that’s exactly what they did.

If I had any complaints, both clear plastic doors on both the old and new unit had odd surface damage where they meet at the top, almost like a cloudy haze scuff mark, I’m not sure how it happens because they wrap it in protective plastic.

It looks like it could be wiped clean but no. Not a big deal though, that and the carbon filter is laughable. I also wish you could change the settings on the fly, like changing print speed while it’s printing would be awesome.

All in all, 5 stars would totally recommend if you have the money in your budget.

And the reason is that it works flawlessly out of the box. I previously bought a Creality machine and got so frustrated with it that I literally took it to the dump and chucked it. On the Dremel I first printed a tiny bit of the froggy then went right to my 88 hour 70% infill print job creating a 4″ to 2″ reducer for a computer fan for my racing sim.

It is not finished yet but so far looks beautiful. This machine is not inexpensive, but quality and build convenience have a price. I had a shipping problem between B&H and FedEx and the first machine arrived beat up.

B&H corrected it immediately by shipping out a replacement without question.

I did a lot of research for a great 3D printer. There were a couple that were recommended to me but when doing internet searches, reviews on CNET and other tech websites I kept coming back to the Dremel 3D45.

Ive done a couple of test prints and the results are fantastic. What I love: – the setup was a breeze. The display screen walks you through each step from connecting to a network, leveling the bed and even telling you to put a thin coat of paste (included) on the glass bed.

Plug and play! – the RFID on the reels (also see what I hate) that give you automatic temperature settings. – the enclosed print bed. Since I have my printer setup in the garage it helps control the temp for the whole printer.

– ability to load projects from a computer through the home network connection What I hate: – the Dremel RFID filament spools are a great time saver but since the spools are not as wide and the recess in the case will only take the Dremel spools and allow the recess cover to be used.

While I have not yet tried another brands filament most likely Ill need an external spool holder. – the touch panel is not capacitive touch and can be a bit finnicky to make selections. Ive got fat fingers and found myself backing up during setup on a few occasions.

– the display was flickering while doing setup, almost like a loose connection. During printing the display was very clear and consistent. Very odd. – Price. a bit high but I did catch it on sale and saved $200.

With B&Hs free shipping and no sales tax it made it even more of a deal. All and all I think picking the Dremel Digilab 3D45 was the right choice and will be more than perfect for what I need!.

I have tried more tha a dozen different brands of mandolins and slicers. This one, with multiple thicknesses and different chopping, slicing and julienne blades is the absolute best. I’ve had mine for 10 years now.

It is still sharp and it still slices perfectly. Also easy to wash. I can slice potato slices thin enough to make potatoe chips in the microwave. I don’t have any special equipment. I use a regular Corelle dinner plate, place a paper towel on top and then a sheet of parchment paper with tiny cutouts like a snowflake to let the moisture out onto the paper towel.

The potatoes come out thin, crisp and golden and delicious. This slicer also makes nice French Fries and Julienne potatoes and carrots. Great for thinly slicing cabbage, eggplant, zuccini, hard cheese, etc.

This is one product you will never throw away. It is durable and reliable and does what is is supposed to do.

Absolutely the most used item in my kitchen! I’ve had it for about 20 years now. may be one or two years off. and the blades are still as sharp as razor blades after using several times a week. I have a delicious creamy cucumber salad recipe I make often and it requires the cucumber to be sliced so thin you can see thru’ them.

It does the trick perfectly. & fast. Totally love it!.

I bought this mandolin slicer many years ago and it is awesome! Barely use my food processor since this slicer is so easy to use and quick to clean. I toss mine in the dishwasher. It is great quality and is still as sharp as day one.

The paring knife and peeler combo is my second set. Really handy and works VERY well. The individual peeler was PRECISELY what I expected. KUDOS!!! I have yet to use the “Mandolin” slicer but I am positive it will be a great kitchen tool.

I have been using a Kyocera ceramic julienne mandoline for many years. I bought this one as a backup even though my first one still works great. The pieces that it creates are small. I use it mostly for carrots and radishes when I want finer pieces in my salad.

I’m not sure why they have “Wide” in the name of the product.

Simple to use and easy to clean and store. The finger guard is only moderately useful with softer foods the teeth of the guard can sink into. A week into using the mandoline, I sliced off the top edge of my thumb.

A friend recommends using cut-resistant gloves, but I’ll probably just try to be more careful.

As an experienced 3D Printer(er) I have seen a lot of 3D printers from industrial/professional to DIY and modified. This was my first experience with a Creality printer and I am extremely impressed with this one, it prints great out the box and settings are easy to figure out.

If it’s your first time this one is an obvious choice. It works well and you don’t have to muck around to get the prints to stick. Assembly was around 30 minutes and there are loads of forums/videos about this specific printer if you ever run into trouble.

If you are advanced this is a good supplement to an existing fam – it will print reliably for its price and has a decent working volume. I wasn’t so sure about it at first but it can do general workhorse jobs without issue and keeps a fairly small footprint on the desk.

The Good: -Easy to set up for printing from the box -Came with updated firmware and newer version of Cura -Printer noise is fairly moderate with doors closed The Bad: -Issues with print quality on stock settings that need some involved adjustment and fiddling (biggest one I had was under-extrusion after retractions, but d/t catastrophic printer failure I did not get a chance to see how well this would be fixed by adjusting settings).

-Bed leveling is not nearly perfect and resulted in a problematic first layer and print warping (on larger prints) out of the box. I had trouble with adhesion initially but adjusted the z-height offset and was able to get it close enough to work okay.

Even with best z-height adjustment, the first layer still went from overly close and slightly distorted in one corner to barely close enough to stick in the opposite corner. The printer only does a 3-point sensing auto-level, which theoretically should work fine on a glass bed since it should be very flat and even.

However, the printer uses an induction sensor, so something appears to be off between the glass surface and whatever the induction sensors were reading. There is a steel plate glued to the back of the glass surface, but the glue wasn’t perfect and there was one corner with a slight gap, though it was skewed in the same direction even after rotating the glass surface.

It also uses four magnets that hold the glass/steel-backed plate to the aluminum bed, so maybe the magnets were causing issues with the sensor. -Plastic components allow for some flexing of the x and y-axis mechanics.

Not sure how much this affected print quality for me at lower speeds, but with a lot of weight flinging around from the direct extruder I am sure this limits the potential for high speed/quality printing.

-Nearly started a fire when a (presumably the thermistor) sensor error caused thermal runaway at the start of a print. The printer had just gone through the auto-leveling sequence when smoke started pouring out of the hot end/extruder housing.

I looked at the display before shutting off the printer and the nozzle temp was reading -14C. Every time after this, the print starts to go into the same issue when a print is initiated with the nozzle sense temp immediately dropping to -14 C.

Overall: The main reason I had bought this was so that I could get some decent prints done for a school project without having to spend a lot of time modding or adjusting, which this printer failed to do for me.

I returned the printer after the thermal runaway problem started so I did not get a chance to see if all the problems could be sorted out with adjusting settings. It is scary to think that if I had walked out of the room rather than staying to see the first layer, I might have ended up with a fire.

This is my third printer. My first was a Solidoodle, which is still operational, but has its limitations. My second was an Instone Inventor, which worked for a while, but wasn’t durable. Now there’s this one, which is solidly built and has excellent print quality.

If you’ve ever worked with a Zortrax, you should feel right at home. It has a filament runout detector, but you have to enable it in the settings on the printer. It comes with masking tape on the build platform, and it lasted for a few prints before tearing.

I put on a BuildTak surface, and I’m really pleased with it. So far, I’ve just printed PLA with it. I did a lot of ABS on the Solidoodle, but I’m doing all PLA lately because it doesn’t distort as much as it cools.

Anyway, the one thing I found that I needed to be careful is when feeding new filament, let the printer take it in. If I forced too much filament in, it missed the internal path and jammed inside. Also, the spool hanger seemed a little flimsy to me, and changing spools is a little clumsy – really hard to do if you run out and/or want to change spools in the middle of a print.

This is my first 3D printer – I’ve been looking at them for some time, and the S1 Pro seemed perfect and had some great reviews. It was ordered and delivered really quickly, and was set up within a few minutes.

The first prints were great, then the next few failed as I learned some of the slicer settings (loving using Cura). Thingiverse is my favourite site to find models, and TinkerCad is great to create your own models.

I bought the Creality Box as well (highly recommended), so I can send models straight from Cura to the printer – loading things onto an SD card was becoming a pain. The Creality phone app is pretty good as well.

I’d recommend this printer to anyone – it handles most (all?) filaments, comes with some great upgrades already installed, prints really well, and seems very well supported.

The printer is basically good, however, it is let down by the quality of the pre-assembled components. The X gantry was skewed, the eccentrics on the rollers for the X gantry were overtightened and needed adjustment to prevent the gantry from jamming.

The brackets holding the rollers to the X gantry were not assembled square and are causing only 3 of the 6 rollers to actually be in good contact with the frame. All of these are easily corrected but should have been done by the factory before shipping.

The print quality is good and it more than meets my expectations and has already proved its worth.

These were such a great price that I ordered 4 of them. One for me, and the other 3 for each of my great-nieces. Theirs will be gifts and I have not tried mine yet, but I will. I had to order the filament to use with it.

I’m looking forward to trying it and hopefully will be making me some earrings. I’m SURE my great-nieces will LOVE it and will make all kinds of goodies.

This 3D pen allows the making of thinks that never existed before. What a freedom of expression unleashed for children and adults. It and its required supplies are a little pricier than I think is warranted, but allows a level of creativity beyond traditional media.

Plugged in the pen to play and never warmed up. The power light comes on, never went to blue to use. Waited over 15 minutes. Bought for my 12 year granddaughter for Christmas. she was so disappointed.

I purchased my first Brner in Singapore more than 20 years ago. My domestic staff loved using the various gadgets, and I liked the appliance so much, that I ALL my friends eventually received one as a gift.

They have accompanied me in my household goods through many countries since then. I find the new Brner a bit too large and too bulky compared to the older model, viz. only 3 stars – albeit the design has improved – particularly the safety factor regarding the blades However, I would recommend this appliance for every householder who needs efficiency in the kitchen.

Have tried and used other, cheaper, mandolin slicers and found them to be not really fit for purpose. either not slicing cleanly or just to much effort to use. read some reviews on this one and thought I would give it a go.

Straight out of the box, I was immediately impressed with the build quality. sturdy but ergonomic. When I used it to make a mixed salad. using tomatoes, celery, cucumber, peppers, spring onion etc. it was effortlessly done and very clean slicing.

even the tomatoes sliced without juice flying everywhere!. thickness settings are perfect, whilst cleanup is simple and quick. just remember to move to the safety setting or you will be slicing your cleaning pad! Would definitely recommend this product, and indeed, have done.

It is very good, super sharp. Watched videos but still took a couple of wrong turns before I got the hang of it. Remains sharp even I misused it a few times (cut the plastic part – held the holder wrong way).

Bulky unit so need lots of room.

I have had my printer for 2 weeks now. So far I’m loving it. I bought it to make a prosthetic hand for myself, which is still a work in progress. I need to learn how to 3d model now. The only con I can see so far is the bed is a little small at 150mm square, but I knew that going in.

I’ll just have to buy a bigger one next time.

I started printing face shields round the clock and have not had any issues with Flashforge branded ABS or PLA. It sticks to bottom without any problems and the parts are good quality. I feel that you need to do calibration every time you turn it on, otherwise the nozzle is a bit too close to the surface and it makes the part hard to take off from the raft.

Otherwise, it’s a great low-cost printer that works great out of the box.

After much research we decided to make this our first 3D printer and it was definitely the right decision. Extremely plug and play. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to venture into the 3D printing world.

After our first print we were addicted. Super fun for everyone in the family.

Let’s start with the way it’s made. The Glowforge is inferior to many Chinese lasers in the design of the build. The build quality is nice, but the cutting area should be separate from the electrical components.

It gets dust and junk all over the electrical components, which shortens the lifespan of the unit. Now let’s talk about the online aspect. The server in itself is a dumb idea, because if your company ever goes under myself and customers like me just have an expensive paper weight.

The fact that I’m constantly having to downsize my jobs because of errors during starting my projects just shows me daily that running Lightburn and a serverless machine is superior. This isn’t a bad laser, but it’s slow and has a lot of downfalls when you’re running it on a regular basis.

A day doesn’t go by when I don’t run my Glowforge, and a day also doesn’t go by where it shows me why I need a better machine.

Glowforge is really focused on using what they call their Proofgrade materials. When using their materials, set up is supposed to be super easy. The material is covered with a masking tape like covering that protects the wood from soot and has a QR code that Glowforge is supposed to read.

In theory, you simply put the Proofgrade material in, shut the lid, and the Glowforge reads the code to automatically dial in all your settings. Entering the “uncertified materials” realm means you must manually enter all the settings for the laser.

One of the major issues I wish I knew beforehand is the focus on using Proofgrade and the fact that Glowforge has been sold out of many/most of the materials for the last few weeks. Their store page lists 33 items, with all but 4 being out of stock.

In other words, you are buying a machine optimized to use specific materials but 88% of those materials are out of stock. I understand that 2020 is a unique year, but I might have considered waiting on my purchase if I understood the focus on Proofgrade and the fact that it doesn’t seem to be available.

Another consideration is that you need their software (which is cloud-based, you don’t directly have it) to interface with the tool you “own. ” In most situations, you buy a tool, and it’s yours to use as you see fit.

However, without their software, my Glowforge is just a $4000 paperweight. A concern is that they launched a premium subscription with a list price of $50 per month. When you have a premium subscription you see a message when cutting that says “You’re in the Fast Lane! Your print is being processed on the most powerful, ultra-high-performance servers, exclusively reserved for Premium member.

” In other words, this implies that those that don’t spend money for the Glowforge premium subscription are going to end up in the “slow lane. ” Big picture, this represents a huge concern for me as it illustrates the power that the company has over how you might be able to use a tool you fully paid for in the future.

In theory, they could make not upgrading to premium (or whatever other future programs they decide to offer) so slow and painful that paying for premium essentially becomes needed. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen, but it is definitely something I wish I would have known about before buying.

Without the concerns above, I would be happy with my Glowforge. I am not sure how to quantify the concerns about their intentions with premium subscriptions. It would be great not to have to worry about it, but with a list price of $600 per year, the company clearly views this as a revenue center.

If you’re thinking of buying a glowforge DON’T!!! Buy something with better customer service. Something more reliable. And from a company that actually has live phone support for technical issues. They literally only are willing to call you if you want to buy a machine.

That’s it. If they already have your money then you’re screwed. Good luck! I’ve been a faithful customer and even defended this terrible company for almost 3 years. Until yesterday. When my machine broke 110 days after I got it.

I paid them $1200 for this machine. It arrived broken and I sent them emails with pictures saying that I did not want this one I wanted another one because it came damaged. And that I didn’t believe it passed the testing they claimed it did.

It couldn’t have I had proof. They refused to send me a new one and sent me a new part. That machine totally died yesterday and they’re willing to send me a new one for ANOTHER $1200 and I have to send this one back.

I am more than satisfied with the delivery and service at buybestgear (the printer was with me in 3 days). The only point of criticism is the faulty operating instructions with regard to bedleveling.

Point 17 with reference to M420 S1 Z10 is missing. For this reason, the nozzle left me with slight scratch marks in the middle of the plate during the first print. Nevertheless, I give 5 stars. I will certainly order again from buybestgear and can only recommend this company.

I use this on grapes for a salad, or cherry tomatoes. Works best with a wicked sharp knife – if not, you’re sort of cutting toward your other hand, which is holding the top in place, and which feels a bit awkward, if not actually dangerous.

With the cherry tomatoes, given their thicker skin, you do have to put some muscle into it. Still, I bought them for many family members because it’s such a cool idea.

I have tried many different kitchen gadgets said to privide a safe reproducable easy method of reducing foods to thinner sections. Most were dissapointments. I like this product because it does all of the above without reducing my hand to paper thin pieces.

I have been unable to filet skinless chicken breasts into thinner sections for quick cooking to top a summer salad. This works well but has some limits in the shape and. size of the item being sliced.

Is it possible to fabricate additional sizes and shapes such as a rectangle ovals or bigger circles?. just a thought!Glad I got it.

So I bought this on a whim thinking that I’d give it a shot and I was probably wasting my money. However, this thing works and works great!! Loaded it up with grape tomatoes and took a (sharp) knife and was amazed! Works like a charm.

Saved me about a half hour in prep time for two recipes! I might just buy some for gifts!!!.

I purchased this machine, with the enclosure, directly off the Snapmaker website on September 21, 2021, and it’s been an ABSOLUTE nightmare. I’d like to preface by saying I’m not new to the world of 3D printing.

I run multiple Creality machines and a Prusa. However, I wanted to try CNC and a Laser (with a camera), so I bought this, figuring at the least, I can use it as another 3D printer if I don’t like the other functions.

Overall, it’s well built, and the unboxing was an almost Apple, or Lego level experience. Real, color instructions, each step in its own padded box. Absolutely amazing experience compared to the box of parts and poorly translated instructions that come from something like an Ender.

But that was where the dream ended. It’s alright as a printer. It offers a direct drive, magnetic bed leveling, touch screen, and assembly is simple (compared to a Prusa). But it’s nothing to write home about.

Since all the gantries are driven by lead screws (for more power as a CNC) this thing is slow. It also sounds like a jet engine. As I write this, I have two printers running in the room I’m in. I can hear the power supply of the Snapmaker, in the enclosure, from across the house.

over the machines actively printing behind me. There’s not much that can be done in terms of modding the machine to print better, it’s not designed to be user-serviceable from a hardware perspective.

As a CNC, it’s basically what I expected, but it lacks the power to really cut anything more than softwood and plastic. I haven’t played with this function much, because the machine alone is so noisy that adding CNC cutting into the mix is deafening.

I’ll move it out to the garage come warm weather, and really play with this function. The Laser – Oh my god, the laser. I’ve had this machine for 2 months, and have been unable to cut a single thing.

After getting it built, I couldn’t get the camera function to work correctly, so I submitted a ticket. After 5 or so days, I got a response. They had me diving into coding, got me into the service technicians menu, and had me taking photos, videos, and trying all sorts of things.

Then, they said ‘Oof, I guess the camera is bad, here, we’ll send you a new one’. What they sent me was an expensive, precision laser module wrapped in a piece of bubble wrap, with a shipping label holding it closed.

No box, no poly mailer. not even some shrink wrap to ensure it stays dry. An 18×6 piece of bubble wrap around a laser. After another 2 weeks of back and forth, they’ve deemed this laser broken too, and want to send me a replacement.

All this has taken 2 months, and we’re nowhere near a resolution yet. With that being said, this isn’t an optically driven laser. It doesn’t read registration marks, or item locations. It takes a static image, and you use the software to place the laser cut on top of it (in theory).

That takes me to the software – Luban. Oh my god is this some horrible software. For 3D printing, it only offers the most watered-down options, and you’re far better learning the software used to drive much cheaper machines – Cura.

Your prints will turn out better, trust me. For laser, everyone seems to favor Lightburn, which again is the software used to run anything from much cheaper machines to the top of the line ones. For CNC, Fusion360 appears to be the most popular recommendation.

The final portion here is serviceability. This isn’t something I really considered before I purchased, but now it’s becoming clear to me that this is almost as important as functionality. Take the stepper motors that power the machine.

If one fails, you need to replace the entire gantry. A few hundred bucks to replace a $10 part. The forums and facebook groups are flooded with people who have had issues with the 3D print head. Instead of replacing a $2 thermocouple, you’re replacing the ENTIRE $140 module.

When the 10W laser is released, if one of the diodes dies prematurely, you’re out $450 to replace a $5 Diode, and the list goes on. I totally understand this isn’t for everyone, but it is a factor. This machine is meant to have a lot of it thrown out to replace the simplest, most failure-prone parts.

If you NEED this machine because you don’t have the room to run 3 separate machines, I’d recommend you build something like Fisher’s Flip Cart (Search Etsy for the plans), and choose your most desired 2 functions.

For a faster 3D printer that offers similar features, and an equally pleasant build experience, grab a Creality CR-6. For a similar, albeit smaller CNC, a Genmitsu 3018 PROver seems to be the best entry-level CNC with similar functionality.

The laser is a tough one. I have a few I’m eyeing, but they lack the camera out of the box. In total, you can get 3 machines, that will print, carve, and burn better circles around this one, for less than this.

That’s including the price of building the cart.

Purchased yesterday and assembled immediately. Assembly takes some time, if you rush it may take a lot more time to back up and repeat steps. Written instructions are good but 2D images of a 3D thing can be misinterpreted.

Probably should watch video as well as reading. The tool kit quality is great. The first 2 rails for the Y axis are critical, without correct placement the print head will smack into the print bed during z axis calibration.

Operation is extremely quiet, quieter than ink jet printers. Quality of first print was better than expected. As a first time owner/operator of a 3D printer I am impressed with the machine and excited to learn what it can really do.

Things I would improve: – Include a more reasonable test file, no one wants a black vase that take 4 hours to print. – In the manual (or online) include a list of If this, Then that problems and solutions.

If the print head smacks the print surface then revisit the placement of Y axis rails. – Include a small glue stick to simplify getting the first prints off the surface. You gave me enough PLA to play with but without glue stick it’s like sneakers without laces.

I purchased the Snapmaker 2. 0 directly from the website; however, I find it important to spread the word that this product does not live up to expectations. 1. ) The device itself is a jack of all trades, but master of none.

There are specific machines out there that can do each individual task far better. You can spend $1800 on 3 machines and get better results than you can with the Snapmaker. Obviously, the big draw here is the space saving; however, you have to ask yourself, is it truly worth the poor experience to save 16 sqft of shop space? 2.

) The machine is noisy. Like really noisy. I expected noise during the CNC process, but I have to be in the other room with the doors closed to get away from the milling sound. 3. ) The software is utterly unusable.

Check reddit and the snap maker forums. The provided software is the chief complaint. You can find other slicers, but compatibility is iffy. Ask yourself if you’re ok with the headache of a crafting machine being a chore to use instead of a joy.

4. ) This is a half-baked product. The printing bed is easily warped resulting in botched 3D prints. The calibration only works sometimes so you’re never really sure if it will be a success. Expect lots of wasted material.

I cannot abide that level of unreliability. Lastly, the company doesn’t stand by its product. Based on my interactions with customer service, you’re pretty much on your own once it arrives at your door.

They don’t honor promotions and they don’t support the customer. That’s a big no from me.

Great tool ,a very comfortable handle, keeps its edge well. Would recommend this knife unreservedly.

This is my first resin 3d printer and I thought working with them would be more complicated. But it’s simple so far. Great machine, even did some larger prints with it and they still turned out to be awesome.

Setting the machine was easy, quick and painless. I think it’s a great choice for those who need to produce high-resolutions prints in no time.

I think this printer would be suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike. I had no prior experience with such technology and still managed to level the bed and make the X-Plus work. Software guided me through the steps, so I think this device is really intuitive to use.

Wi-Fi connectivity makes things even more straightforward, although I would like to have an ability to monitor print status wirelessly as well. So far no complaints after more than 200 hours of usage.

Great machine for our small business, handles everything we need it to. Easy to use and provides the quality way above average. My only (small) complaint would be nozzle tubes that we had to swap after 40 hours of operation.

This would be easily solved with a flexible tubing. Other than that, I have no issues with the X-Plus. It’s a great and reliable 3D printer.

For my first 3D printer, I am very impressed. I wasn’t expecting anything crazy for the price, but I ended up getting a great machine for an amazing price. All of the work I’ve made so far has turned out great and I’ve logged right under 200 hours on the machine so far without any issues.

Works great. Extremely high quality prints with a nice touchscreen interface. I enjoyed using the Adventurer 3 to print prototypes. The extruder got stuck at first but after i spent 20 minutes minutes cleaning it the printer has worked great since.

I recently bought a book on charcuterie and needed a meat slicer to prepare the various cuts of meat. My first project was curing and smoking bacon. The meat slicer worked very well. There was no vibration, the carriage slid smoothly and the blade made clean cuts with no resistance.

I am very pleased with the machine’s performance and have a feeling the purchase will be well worth the money and look forward to my next project, beef brisket. The manual was a little sparse with cleaning directions, however, the machine was very easy to take apart to clean and then reassemble.

I have used it a few times and so far, I am very pleased with the machine. The machine is very sturdy, the motor is strong enough, and the blade cuts very well. Everything comes apart for easy cleaning.

Plus, it was not that expensive, especially for a machine that is not made in China. Its only flaw is that the back of the blade is too flat and, if slicing thick, the slices don’t fall easily. You have to grab them with your hand and it is a bit close to the blade.

They should put a curved cover over that section. It would help. All in all, I love my slicer and foresee having it for many years.
