I’ll agree that it’s easy to use, user friendly with the app, and easy to hook up, BUT prepare yourself for the frustration of malfunction without warning or cause, and NO support on the warranty front.

Long story short, you might get a good time span to use this, but be prepared to see your money go to waste for whatever you spend on one of these units, though the error light makes a nice under-bed nightlight.

Arrived sealed, brand new. The date indicated that it may have been manufactured a while ago but the software was easily updated by the “advanced” option during set up and it functions very well. If two people are using this, be sure you use two different devices to set it up and presumably two different emails for the reports.

You will be given a code to set up #2. A phone and tablet worked fine. Installation was very easy since I have an electric bed to raise the ends or just the mattress. The reports are very accurate and the included tips are helpful.

Did you ever want to know exactly how you were sleeping and what was happening at every minute? Now you can easily tell whether you were in deep sleep, light sleep, or just in dreams sleep. It’s a great app that comes with the device.

Halo marks Amazon’s setting foot into the fitness band industry. They knocked it out of the park. I’ve always wanted a name brand fitness band but they were way out of my budget, thank goodness for Amazon now I can own one.

Positives: Charge: One charge will last you almost a full week without having to recharge. When you do have to recharge it is usually fully charged in an hour or less depending on how low the battery is.

Programs: With a subscription it has a whole host of programs. Programs that help you get better sleep or help you learn different exercises to keep you active. Step tracker: It keeps track of the number of steps you take in a day.

This ties in to amount of calories burned (which it shows) & it gives you a weekly goal of points to meet. It tracks when your movement is sedentary, light, moderate, or intense. It even keeps track of how long you should be sedentary & takes points away if you go over the allowed sedentary time.

Heart rate: It does a live analysis of your heart rate & let’s you know what range it is in. It even sends you a notification if your heart rate is usually high. Body scanner: This is my absolutely favorite feature.

It takes a picture of you body then guesses your weight, it is VERY accurate then tells you your body fat percentage. It is a little embarrassing to see how your body looks but it is motivating to see if you can change it for the better.

Price: This is a great price & much less than those leading brands. I’m sure it does basically everything they do & with the programs (with subscription) it is well worth it. Neutral: Sleep tracker: I’m NOT sure how accurate this really is.

Nights that I seem to sleep terrible it says I had a good night of sleep. Nights that I seem to sleep a little better I get a lower score. I won’t take this seriously because once again I don’t know how accurate it truly is.

Negatives: Not Digital: It isn’t digital so you can’t see any information without the app. I would like to just look at the band without having to open up my phone. Band: I got a medium & I can barely get it on.

Also the module doesn’t separate from the band so you can’t clean the band that effectively. Overall this is a great purchase just out of curiosity. I’ve always wanted a fitness band & this has everything I need without stressing that I spent a paycheck on it.

It encourages you to be more active & change your lifestyle. It’s fitness technology for us normal on a budget people.

I got this Amazon Halo with high expectations. The first issue I had was that the band, while fitted perfectly to my wrist, is difficult to slip over my hand. You do not have the ability to separate the band so you can “strap it on”.

My other issue was the accuracy of the activities. I wore the Halo for a week. I used it on my 5K runs which are pretty defined in distance with regards to step count. I have used my Apple Watch and FitBit in the past with similar results.

The Halo returned 1/2 as many steps. I checked all the settings for my height/weight just to be sure it was tracking accurately. There are some really nice features on this product including voice tone recognition.

this gives you the ability to track your tone during stressful situations. I view this as a data grab from Amazon and another way to target marketing directly to you. I say get the most basic metrics corrected, then work on the additional features.

I am in love with this Amazon Halo! I cannot believe how easy it was to set up. You download the Halo app on your Smartphone or other device. You turn on your Bluetooth and sync them together and it is super easy to follow the directions from there.

The Halo App tracks many of your activities throughout the day and night. It offers you personal exercises tailored just for you. You can scan your body and it measures your body fat. The Halo app also tracks your sleep and the tone of your voice! I think this is amazing! The band fits very comfortable you can hardly tell you are wearing it.

I will be comparing this fitness tracker to others which are similarly situated, which I have used in the past or are currently using now–namely: FitBit trackers, a Garmin, Apple Watches, a Citizen smartwatch and a Fossil smartwatch.

Although this is strictly called a “fitness tracker”, it has a load of features which place it somewhat into the “smartwatch” category, in my opinion. First of all, it has all the regular functions of a smartwatch, telling time, having timers and alarms, all that good stuff.

For fitness tracking and health, it counts steps, measures heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and sleep activity. It also measures your sedentary levels and burned calories. You can even set it to receive text and call notifications from your smartphone.

Yes, you have to download the Amazon Halo app and plug in all your info, but the app is jam-packed with tons of extras which show all your data at a glance, help you with settings for the watch, and it has all sorts of supplementary information for your general health which you can click on and read about.

Honestly, I wasn’t interested at all in the extra stuff to read in the app but it’s there if you are interested in those types of health tips; I am more interested in the actual features of this watch and how well they do or don’t work.

Compared to the aforementioned other fitness trackers and smartwatches that I have used, of which my Apple Watch is the one that I have used the most, this Amazon Halo is adequate to good, given its relatively lower price point.

The screen is one of its best features–it’s very bright, crisp, and colorful. However, the responsiveness of the touchscreen is unreliable. When I would swipe it either up/down or left/right, it would only work about half the time, so it was very frustrating to use in that aspect.

The home “button” (it’s not an actual button but a small area to touch at the bottom of the screen) works great to get out of one of the features quickly, so that you can choose another feature to look at.

The strap is quite comfortable, soft and so far, sturdy. The entire watch is waterproof so it’s nice to shower and wash my hands without worrying about getting it wet. As to the actual features, I compared their results head-to-head with my Apple Watch (for the health features such as heart rate and oxygen sensor, etc.

) and they were pretty much alike. Battery longevity was good. It uses a proprietary charger (read: don’t lose it or break it, because you’ll have to buy an exact new one from Amazon to replace it since it’s not a universal charger), and you’ll also have to supply a charging brick.

Charging time is also nice and quick. With purchase you get one free year of what is called “Halo Membership”–kind of like Apple Fitness+ if you’re familiar with that service–it’s simply access to more exclusive features such as workouts and other personalized programs dealing with nutrition, diet, activity, sleep, etc.

After the initial year it’s 3. 99/month. You can also purchase different colored bands to switch out if you prefer. And it will work with Alexa, but only if you already have an Alexa-enabled device (the watch itself does not have a microphone).

Overall, I would say that for the features, for the price point, it does a decent job. While it has a number of “smart watch” features, I would still say it veers more towards the typical FitBit (the FitBits of which style it mirrors–the elongated rectangular face).

However, because the touchscreen responsiveness is so frustrating at times–and that touchscreen is how you’ll be interacting with it most often throughout the day/night–I have to dock the stars to a 3/5.

The FitBits and other touchscreen-faced fitness trackers and smartwatches I have personally used have had much, much better reliability in terms of more instantaneous responsiveness.

The new fitness band from Amazon really does almost everything. Setting it up is really easy The 1st thing I noticed is that it categorizes different areas of health that it helps you keep track of. Of course, one of the main areas is “Activity” – it not only counts your steps, but also your heart rate, so it assigns “points” according to the intensity of activity level, which I found really encourages me to be aware of not only my sedentary time, but to also do more bursts of high intensity activity.

You can additionally add exercise and I appreciate the suggested fitness routines in the app. Related to this is an area they call “Movement” which uses some interesting technology to take pictures of your body and estimate your body fat, which, according to them, is more accurate than your BMI.

Then, it suggests movement based on your areas of strength and weakness in different parts of your body. Personally, I find this to be very helpful to increase flexibility in some of my weaker areas.

I like how much the app is customized to my personal activity and ability. Also, it has a sleep tracker section of the app, which tracks you heart rate, temperature, length to fall asleep, depth of sleep, and amount of time restless.

Again, it compiles this into a score to rate your overall sleep quality. All of these sections and ratings can be a bit overwhelming at first, but it is a fairly comprehensive look at your overall health.

Other additions include a section that analyzes your tone of voice, suggestions for meditation, and other mental health wellness, healthy recipes, and other tips. You can do a deep dive in any area and the value added part of this band seems to be its ability to suggest a large variety of “programs” to improve your health, while giving you reminders to complete them.

The band itself is comfortable to wear and I had no problems with irritation or wearing it while I slept. It is actually thinner than Fitbit bands I have worn in the past. Charging it is pretty simple and the charge lasts quite a long time (for me it was about seven days on average.

) The 2 small features that I hope they add in the future are calorie counting in the Nutrition section so that I can keep track of my intake as much as my output; and, for the Sleep section to also recognize naps as midday sleep rather than sedentary activity.

I like the amount of personalization that it offers while still keeping privacy by regularly deleting and not sharing your data. Overall, I feel as though I’m discovering new and helpful features on it every day.

The Halo View is a fitness tracker from Amazon. It’s a sleek shape with a decent sized screen that does normal smart watch tracking though excluding GPS and some other features like music streaming. Battery life ended up pretty decent at 6 solid days with charging being via a proprietary strap that plugs into a standard USB port.

You do get notifications and media controls – a plus for when I’m riding with a helmet and earbuds but the notifications were a bit lacking. Not much detail and no ability to interact from the watch.

The suite of metrics tracked is what you’d expect – steps, sleep, blood oxygen, heart rate, and activity level. The Halo app is also pretty sleek, providing nice visualizations and engaging analytics of this data.

If you’re coming from Withings or Fitbit, you will not be disappointed. The data collection also seemed good and matched up pretty well with the days I had my phone completely with me. The only area where I’m unsure is the heart rate.

It seemed a bit inconsistent, but I also have had similar issues with almost every smartwatch that I’ve owned, especially when I didn’t have a nice fit to my hand (which I’ll discuss a bit later). Where things get disappointing app/data wise is that you’re locked in to the Amazon eco-system which is pretty minimal.

There’s no sharing or exporting of your data to additional fitness tracking apps. So, if you’ve been used to switching or trying out different fitness watches but having your data in the same place, the Halo View is likely not the one for you unless you’re really won over by Amazon’s walled garden.

And given the limitations if you’re not a Halo Fitness member, the band isn’t as nice as a standalone watch. Another nagging issue – the band. Like many watches this shape, the Halo View is essentially a rectangular bean shaped device that’s fits into a band or clasp – or in the case, the band or clasp fits into it.

The problem – the connection isn’t the most secure and the standard band isn’t that comfortable. To be fair, I find most standard bands uncomfortable and end up going with third party alternatives. Right now, while there’s some that can be found, they all suffer from the same issue – the locking mechanism to the watch.

With it being unreliable, even swapping to a more comfortable band isn’t a complete solution.

Honestly I started out with this little guy before I upgraded to my apple watch. There are some pros, like that it’s small, discreet, and comfortable tucked away, but I noticed a lot more cons. First being I never knew where to put it discreetly if I didn’t wear a bra, meaning I’d imagine this is terrible for men if they wanted to keep it hidden.

Second, you have to replace a battery, it can’t be charged. This is overall kind of a pain but it isn’t done that often because this is probably the most basic activity tracker. Third, and in my opinion most important, it only tracks steps.

That means if you’re on a jog it will not measure your heart rate alongside those steps. Obviously 1,000 steps running versus walking makes a huge difference in cardiovascular health and calories burned.

I’ve noticed it’s way easier to have a watch do both and input those calories burned for me! Plus even Fitbit watches (or other smart watch) are very accurate because they will also take your weight into consideration as well via their AI.

All three makes for a highly accurate count, if that type of thing is important to you!.

This was almost perfect for me. I have to have a FitBit for my job, it is used to monitor physical activity and we get $$ taken off our medical insuramce if we meet goals. I wear a lot of jewelry and I switch my jewelry out everyday.

A FitBit worn on the wrist was too ugly to go with my jewelry. I did not want it to clash so I got a FitBit Zip. This was easy to find and I got it as a great price. I like that I can clip it to my waist and it is pretty discrete.

I’d rather have one of these on my waist than have that ugly band on my wrist. The issue is all the silicon sleeves that you need for these things never last. The batteries that you have to buy for these are trash too.

I dislike having to always buy batteries. I wish this thing was chargeable. I also notice that this device does tend to freeze up and need rebooting or has issues syncing with the app. Overall it fits the need that I have for it.

If I did not need this for work I would have never bought it honestly. There needs to be more fitness trackers that do not have to be worn on the wrist but are still chargeable. This product could have been better but if you are a jewelry lover like me and refuse to wear those ugly things on the wrist, this works!.

I love the Fitbit One. It is small and can be put in your pocket so your fitness is monitored discreetly. I do not like fitness watches so this model completely meets my needs. So. , why only 3 stars? It is getting increasingly difficult to find a replacement Fitbit One that works.

I’ve purchased two on eBay so far that haven’t worked. So as the Fitbit Ones out in the community get older, the batteries are starting to die and are not easy to replace. So keep that in mind as you shop for Fitbit Ones on eBay – be sure to select ones that have been tested, have a battery replaced already, or can be returned.

Great Product, I have been using it for almost a week now. I did have some problems with connecting it to the Bluetooth, but other than that its great. The accuracy of the sensors seems to be great-The Heart rate sensor works fines with a margin of error of 2-3 beats per min.

-The SpO2 sensor is not a gimmick, it works fine but is not 100% accurate, it was off by nearly 1% every time. ** -Both the sensors do not work if the watch is not on your hand**So both are just not for namesake and are functional.

-The sleep tracker seems to be accurate, it was pretty precise almost every time. But the duration is shown wrong on the watch for some(app it shows fine)-It is capable of controlling songs, media that is playing on your phone as well as the camera-magnetic charger is good and easy to connect-have a lot of exercise modes.

-The Gps works fine but there is no manual control for the GPS, it turns on when ur taking some outdoor sports activity. It searches for a signal and connects to it-There was this problem with the PAI info display (clicked a photo)-The step count feature is not very accurate, it counts my steps even when I’m sleeping, it’s off my hand and being carried.

Even during walks I have found that the step count shows more than I have taken. 40-50 more-I also had some problems logging into Alexa using the app, but the bug has been fixed now-I think the screen is a little small, so gets a bit difficult to see the graphs but otherwise, it’s fine.

-It doesn’t have an always-on display feature which is not really a big problem, it does have lit upon wrist lift(not 100% accurate but good enough). – the strap is super lightweight but the quality is not up to mark.

I sometimes feel some irritation if used for a longer time. – And coming to the battery life part which is important, they claim it can last up to nine days. It’s not true. Batter life depends on the usage and the activities of the user.

To make the battery last for 9 days, one has to be inactive and make sure not to wear the watch during nighttime and other activities, then maybe the battery life will be 9 days.

Purchase this item with no hesitation. Under the Rs 3000 price bracket it’s a very good option. You may get some Amoled offerings from Noise or Boat but they don’t give you a practical product like it.

If you need a smartwatch which has some practical features you don’t want to purchase it just for ShowOff, then go with this brand always.

Amazefot Bip U Pro is more of a Fitness watch rather than a smart watch. I got it in sale for 3000 INR and I found it is the best in that price range. It do whatever it says in the box, no feature is gimmick, everything works properly.

Accuracy is close to perfect (99%). Step counter, sleep tracking, heart rate monitor, SPO2, and stress calculator feels quite accurate. GPS works very precisely outdoor, but it won’t connect when you try to connect indoor.

If this bothers you then it will be a upset, obviously in case of my needs, I don’t want GPS for indoor workouts, so it doesn’t bother me at all. Lookwise, it looks good though it has a plastic build.

I know I would be expecting too much from a watch worth 3000, but If it got a pre installed SSD and if I would be able to download musics into the watch, this would be the perfect smartwatch for me.

Simple to use and comfortable to wear it motivates me daily to do my 10000 steps a day! I also enjoy monitoring my sleep patterns. I’ve worn an identical Nuband tracker almost daily for the past couple of years but the strap eventually wore out.

The band is comfortable to wear and nice enough on, not too obtrusive or an eye sore. A simple push button displays the time with the date; push again for steps, then calories burnt, target reached etc.

To put in sleep mode, you tap the push button twice and twice again to take it off sleep mode. To pair the device with the app, install the Nuband app in the play store & set your details. Once done, in the apps main screen (top left of the screen) press the spiral circle icon, this will ask you to switch on Bluetooth.

Click yes to pair and then press the touch button on the watch to light up the screen. This will show the Bluetooth symbol and will say synchronising complete in your phone once done. Any data from your Nuband watch will then be entered onto the app.

You can switch Bluetooth off, but you will need to do the synchronising each time. No airs and graces, does what it says on the tin. Nothing fancy but gets the job done.

A very nice, well made exercise tracker/sleep monitor that comfortable to wear (even when sleeping) and pretty accurate as well. Theres no HR function on this model but that doesnt detract from the quality and accuracy of the features that are, ie, tracker, sleep monitor, target and goals for the day, calories burned etc.

Overall, a very good piece of equipment with a battery charge that last well over 7 days between charges and as good as other makes that are significantly more expensive. Buy one and enjoy it, it looks smart and its so lightweight youll not even know youre wearing it after a while.

What a bargain!.

I didn’t expect perfect, and there are a few minor scratches on it as described, but for the price, that’s fine. The packaging was minimal, and entirely proportionate, reducing waste. The watch was supplied with two different lengths of strap to fit different sized wrists, and the strap is so easy to remove and replace, (so many options available so your watch can adapt to any occasion) great design as always.

There was a minor hiccup with the setup as the watch was still registered to the previous owner, but this was solved in minutes by the seller (who’s communications were swift and friendly) and once done, syncing with other Apple products was so ridiculously easy – of course it was.

During the set up process, I impetuously added a watch account with my phone provider, but that’s only really necessary when I’m making calls or playing music if the phone isn’t nearby, so I will probably cancel it as in the couple of weeks it’s been active, I haven’t needed it, so there’s a saving already! My big surprise is usability and display readability – even with a lot of apps on board, navigation is very simple, as again, you’d probably expect with an Apple product.

Apple Watch 6 looks smart and understated and is packed with features and functions, many of these related to monitoring activity and health, such as heart rate, ECG, blood oxygen levels, as well as the number of times you stand in a day, the number of steps you take and the number of minutes you exercise.

The one downside? It can be addictive.

I have been on the apple watch 1 since they came out so i figured I would just stay up to date keeping up with technology. I work in construction so I need a watch that is up for the task whatever it may be.

I looked down to check the time and the watch was separated at the mid section and hanging together by a wire (literally). I was just thinking i will have to get it replaced since I have not had it long enough to be out of warranty.

Nothing crazy happened and the glass is still in tact. I took it to a local screen replacement recommended by my apple care plus subscription. The guy ‘fixed’ it. The screen is no longer dangling from a wire but now the screen is just a bunch of random colors making no clear picture.

So I have been paying for a non working watch since probably this time last year and i have no idea who to talk to or where to get it fixed. I understand that apple has removed the ‘force touch’ functionality of the watch to make it.

32mm thinner but I think it just may have been the superglue that kept my apple watch 1 working for so many years. Matter of fact my apple watch 1 still working right now. I will pay off this watch and the next one i get will be the stainless steel model because I think it will be top of the line and I can’t afford to waste anymore time or money on anything.

First of all, I am an Apple addict who owns only Apple products and thinks Apple can do no wrong to begin with, so yeah I also chose Apple Watch over other smart watches out there. Lol 🤓🙈 I love this watch, and I love all the new features it has to offer.

It has a brighter Retina display with an always-on option. The screen really is gorgeous. It has a crisp definition, and makes use of the whole screen. I bought the stainless steel 44mm with GPS + Cellular option.

Therefore, I can make phone calls, sms, FaceTime, etc even when I don’t bring my iPhone. This is great because I left my iPhone at home too often (old girl brain)! Lol ğŸ¤¦ğŸ ¼â€ â™€ï¸ When you’re on call using the Apple Watch you’ll be on speaker unless you’re using a Bluetooth headphones.

It has a great fitness tracker. It tracks the steps you take all day, making sure you stand up/drink water/etc and move frequently, and remind you to accomplish your workout goals everyday. It also has a fall detection, 911 alerts, you can shower/swim with it on, Blood Oxygen and ECG monitoring.

For the price, a worthy activity tracker for fundemental information. Simple to use, with a lengthy string life, it has become a staple in my daily life. I’m for the most part fond of the quiet alarms and phone notifications.

Though the shroud is fairly small, I’m tickled with the size due to it doesn’t get in aside and become cumbersome, for the most part though sleeping. Also, merely having the Fitbit is suited motivation to remain active.

Notwithstanding being a more affordable Fitbit it’s not the the vast majority of correct on the market. Additionally, several of the comprehensive info in the app is hidden behind a paywall. And though it is working the vast majority of of the time, I’ve noticed that not all of my notifications come over here over to the Fitbit.

It has its flaws, but for the tag it’s a mighty product if you’re right seeing for a fundemental activity tracker.

Pros: It has everything that a more expensive smart watch can offer at a much more affordable price. The watch itself is a very nice design, not too bulky at all. I also like that you can change the straps and they have a wide variety of different styles to suit your preference.

The battery life is also amazing, much better than more expensive smart watches such as the Apple Watch. Cons: Some of the features could be made more advanced I. e more options on the exercise tracking or the option to add your own type of exercise as these are quite limited.

The watch also sometimes detects you are doing exercise when you’re not and so the statistics are not always accurate – I. e most days it would say I have been swimming despite this not being the case.

This is my 3rd Fitbit inspire HR. The first lasted almost 2 years, considering the abuse it took. Battery lasted forever! The replacement lasted less than 6 months before it gave me a black screen. Battery STILL lasted several days.

Since it was under warranty, I was sent a replacement. The battery now last LESS THAN 24 HOURS and the feature that removed all day sync has been dropped. Now I can’t track my sleep, which was a key factor in my original decision to choose the HR.

I’d like to get another but I don’t trust Fitbit the same way now, but know for sure the HR isn’t what it used to be.

The form factor works very well, meaning that it’s a lot easier to wear the ring overnight than it is to wear a fingertip sensor. Having a continuous recording device makes it useful for experimenting and making improvements to habit.

It does fall off from time to time, because it’s a universal ring size that loosely slips on and off, but that’s rare. From a hardware point of view, the biggest downside is the proprietary USB cable for data transfer to a PC.

You can use a standard USB cable for charging only, but for data transfer, you must use the proprietary cable so make sure you label it. The iphone app and the Windows app are two completely different programs, with different UI’s and color schemes for representing the data.

It doesn’t sync the notes between the two, and you have to sync with your phone and PC separately. It does seem to keep track of what’s already been synced so I haven’t run into double data import problems.

The iPhone app does sync with Apple Health which is useful as a single dashboard for multiple types of data. The Windows app looks quite primative, like it was designed for an earlier version of windows with extra large fonts.

It doesn’t resemble a Windows 10 app or the iphone app at all. Online backups of the data require a separate subscription to an online service, which strangely can’t be purchased through the Windows app, it requires using the iPhone app.

I think something happened to the earlier reviews of this product, because I was researching this device for a while and the reviews were empty for a while. Looks like a new batch of reviews are coming in.

Would like to see an updated version of this product in the future. The core functionality is there, but it could use a little more polish to the user experience and the software.

Replaced my Series 4 with the Series 7 and although the differences aren’t monumental, they do make the experience a different and better one. The larger, always on display is a feature I never knew I needed until I experienced it on the Series 7.

One thing to note, the green aluminum is very dark in color and almost appears as a space grey with a slight green tint. The clover Sport Band that came with the watch was not my favorite, and I replaced it immediately with the cargo khaki Nike Sport Loop.

I waited quite a long time before breaking down and buying a smart watch. As I am an iPhone owner, the Apple Watch was the logical choice. However, it initially didn’t meet my needs. I am not sports or exercise enthusiast so most off what a smart watch provides didn’t interest me.

I am also an traditional analog watch fan and tend to stay away from modern style watches. What finally tipped the scale for me was the pandemic. I needed a way to stay informed about not only my health vitals but also email and messages without always being tied to my phone or pc.

The fact that I could listen and control my music and phone calls from my watch were extra bonuses. The new Series 7 Apple Watch seems to finally provide enough non-sports/exercise features to make sense to me.

The apps still need more evolution to really be beneficial on a wrist device but it is getting better. I am still learning how to effectively use the Apple Watch and I am sure time and updates will only make it better.

The Series 7 seems to have enough hardware features to take it further. However I am not a fan of buying a new device every year or two, so I am still worried that it might be too soon for the regular population that isn’t always in the gym or running on the track.

However I do feel more comfortable knowing that I have some basic health monitors on my wrist and a better communication system than being tethered to my phone 7×24. I can’t answer battery or lifetime issues yet because I have only owned it for just over a week.

I will say that my iPhone’s battery lasts longer than the watches but perhaps I can make settings changes to improve that. I still see a day’s battery so I can’t complain. My recommendation is that if you are looking for a smart watch, check out how many apps and features you will really use and if they are full featured enough yo justify the purchase and investment.

I’ve had my Apple Watch since May 2020. I had always wanted one, so I was excited to finally make the purchase. I have the gold watch and pink band combo. I love the color of the band, however darker dyed fabrics often leave staining on the silicon band.

I wish there was a way to avoid this. Unfortunately after all these years, I have not been able to get these stains out. I think that the battery on these watches could be better. I have to constantly keep mine on the charger while getting ready for my day so that my watch doesn’t died before the end of my work day.

I would upgrade as I’ve heard better things about the newer watches, however, I have always bought so many bands for a 40mm watch that they don’t make anymore as the newer watches have slightly larger faces.

Pros: I’m a big fan of having a smart watch and feel that the Apple Watch is the best solution / option for iPhone owners. I also feel that you really need a sapphire crystal screen. That means you have to choose one of the stainless steel options.

With that in mind, the series 5 is a great trade off for cost vs specs. You can still find new old stock and they have the bigger always on screen. Cons: Options for a good normal leather band are limited.

Apple don’t really offer one and buying one from a 3rd party are hit and miss. Otherwise I don’t really have any negatives.

The main reason I finally convinced myself to purchase this watch is “fall detection”. I’ve been having too many falls lately and live alone. I was going to buy one of those medical alert bracelets but there’s a monthly charge forever.

I figure after the 24-month interest free payments it’s mine whereas I’d still be paying on a medical alert bracelet that only has one function. There are just too many functions to itemize in this review.

The standard band that came with it accommodates a s/m or m/l wrist. I was disappointed the two extra band were in a one size fits all which are tight on me. I’m not buying Apple’s $50 bands (min. price) but found a company at 1/2 the price with an exceptional quality.

My old Fitbit 2 needed charging every other day, didn’t track heart rate, SP02 and couldn’t connect to my phone. I wanted a cheaper smart watch that could do those things. I found a couple of youtube videos reviewing this watch for value for money, accuracy across all of the measurables, battery life etc.

It’s performance wasn’t as good as some of the more expensive smart watches but I wasn’t prepared to pay for the expensive ones. It did test very well with step count and distance accuracy which were some of my main needs.

I get anywhere between 10-14 days out of the battery depending on how often I use the watch. It’s great being able to read text messages on it, control music and activate workouts. I also like that you can change the watch face display so you can see what’s important to you.

There are heaps of free face displays but I paid. 58c for the one I liked. The face I have chosen shows time, date, battery %, steps, distance, heart rate, sleep, weather and messages and it’s not cluttered or teeny tiny font either.

I’ve only had 2 problems with it: 1. The watch would notify me that there was a text message but wouldn’t let me read it. I had to uninstall the APP and reinstall it and that fixed it. 2. it was over-recording distance and had my stride length at 73cm (I’m 1.

5m tall). You can’t change stride length but to fix it I changed my height to 1. 25m and now it measures distance exactly the same as Map my Walk and Google Maps. Really pleased with the watch especially as it’s on the cheaper side for smart watches.

I was looking to replace my Samsung GearFit 2 but I didn’t want another smart watch. I did some research online and found that this Huawei Band 6 had some overall great reviews. It was also at a good price point so I figured even though it doesn’t have all the same features as my Samsung, it would still at least be a decent step and heartrate tracker.

I’ve now had it for about three weeks now. So far, I’ve only needed to charge it once and it’s still, on its second charge, at 57%. I think the sleep monitor and heartrate tracker are good and it has a stress tracker as well.

I’m pretty happy with this purchase overall. The downsides: – unlike my Samsung, this watch doesn’t automatically “sense” a workout. With my old watch, if I went for a walk, the watch would start recording a workout after 10 minutes of consistent movement – walking, cycling, running.

This one records your heart rate fluctuations, but it doesn’t sense what you’re doing. – the Huawei health app doesn’t sync with My Fitness Pal. It says it does, but when I looked at MFP after doing a 30 minute workout, it recorded my calories burned as 350,000 (I wish), which threw off my food record for the day.

Not a big deal for me but it means I have to record my workouts manually. – The watch faces aren’t my favourite but that’s a small complaint. Overall, I think this fitness band is a great buy if you’ve never used one before.

I now know what I’m missing so I have to get used to not having all the extras but I have everything I need and I only need to charge it every couple of weeks instead of every couple of days.

6. Level of screen protection not mentioned, tempered glass protection not easily available off market. 7. No built in GPS, requires nearby (10m) presence of smartphone for those map trackings but dynamic tracking videos available through in app GPS.

Ofcourse, Huawei Health needs to be running in the background at all times for notifications, in app GPS to work. 8. No double-tap gesture to wake the screen provided though raise to wake is pretty responsive.

9. Call acceptance, silencing not available. Overall an awesome budget fitness tracker, health monitor cum smart band at a steal deal price of Rs 3190 (MRP Rs 9990). Hope it is durable as well & the customer service also is good enough.

Not good, directions are not clear. Haven’t even figured out how to turn it on yet? It says to charge it? There’s now charging cable or ports to plug it in? Worst purchase of my life!

I wasn’t sure if I would really use this product, but once I got it and wore it for a short time I found I really enjoyed it. The sleep monitor feature was an interesting way to learn that I sleep quite well.

I like the use of the cell phone link, especially when I’m out walking my dog. I don’t have to worry about dropping my cell phone if my dog decides he likes the squirrel he spotted across the street and unexpectedly tugs hard on his leash to go after it.

I’m going to order more for Christmas presents for my nieces and nephews!.

For the price, one could not ask for more. To get a watch with a heartbeat monitor for under $50, is a bargain.

Have owned quiet a few smart watches but the haylou LS02 is the best so far.

I’ve always wanted to get a smart watch but couldn’t decide if I wanted a Garmen, Apple Watch, Fitbit etc. I figured since I have an iPhone and I know apple products really well I’d go with an Apple Watch.

I’ve never owned an Apple Watch before and wasn’t sure if I’d even like it that’s why I bought this one. This Watch was one of the best things I ever bought for myself! This little thing is capable of so much and is a great starter Watch for those wanting to try one! This thing can do everything my phone can do.

This Watch connects to your iPhone via Bluetooth without draining any battery on your iPhone. This Watch will do anything a regular typical Watch can do (tell time, timer, stop watch, calculator) things like that! What I really love most about this Watch is how I can get phone calls and text messages from it.

For instance if I ever get a text message or phone call my watch will automatically vibrate my wrist and display the text or incoming call that way rather than my phone going off. Which is really handy and saves you the embarrassment if you’re in the office or in a movie.

You can also text from it and call from it and the other person wouldn’t even know the difference! I can also monitor my heart rate and fitness goals on this and use it to calculate how many steps or miles I’ve walked or how many calories I burn.

I’ve had this Watch for about 2 years now and have had no problems with it at all. As long as you take care of it it will sure take care of you! I personally think once you get the hang of how to use a smart watch you never want to go back to a regular watch because of how handy it is! Love this and highly recommend it to anyone!.

Pros: The Apple Watch Series 2 features a modern, and, needless to say, attractive design. The battery life is extensive – which means that you can go hours and hours without having to charge it. The ease of accessing your favourite apps is a real plus point – whether it is checking your bank balance or checking the weather to plan your day.

Another positive regarding the Apple Watch is the fitness perks – Apple Watch proactively measures your steps and your beats per minute constantly throughout the day which is a pretty cool feature when wanting to know how many calories you have burnt, or how much distance you have walked.

It’s definitely a great looking product – as all Apple products are – and definitely appeals to the eye. The ‘Hey Siri’ feature is a good addition – it can help you to navigate your iWatch in difficult circumstances, for example, if you are driving and cannot take your hands off the wheel, then you can ask Siri to set a GPS point for you.

It is also crazy compatible with apps. Especially Pokémon GO. I had a great couple of hours playing around with the watch with family members. Cons: Unfortunately the ‘Hey Siri’ feature can get repetitive and a little bit annoying at times.

Using the watch in public means that sometimes, you are required to talk to the watch – which can make you look a little crazy!.

I originally got second series and then I started driving for UPS and realized it would be a lot easier if I didn’t have to carry my phone on me but could still answer the phone through my watch. We’re not allowed to answer the phone while we’re driving but our managers call us constantly and let’s face it we’re driving cost silly so trying to call a supervisor back in the middle of delivering a package it’s just not going to work and we can’t we are earbuds while driving so having the Apple Watch literally saves me while I m working.

it’s also nice to not have to have my phone on me at the gym because it’s heavy and I have nowhere to put it it’s really annoying trying to carry a phone from machine to machine so having a watch along with my wireless headphones is great.

those are the main things I really use it for and of course to tell the time. I also like it to send text messages and track some of my workouts. I have a two-way walkie-talkie app downloaded and it’s a lot easier to use that than making phone calls and if you have a question you want to look up on the Internet you can just use the ask Siri and have it repeat it back to you through the watch.

I’ve tried fitbit but I didn’t really like it. Apple just makes sense because I have Apple tablets, an iMac, multiple iPhones and iPods so I already know the program but I love it it’s very convenient makes my life a lot easier….

Pros: I have been using Fitbit devices since 2014 starting with the Flex and they have come a long way. I like their design overall, it’s nice to be able to customise the watch faces, there are so many official and aftermarket accessories available that you can really make your Fitbit suit your style and keep it fresh over the years.

I had hoped that my Versa1 would stay alive until the Versa4 was released but I found myself needing to buy quickly. When you don’t use a smart watch it’s very easy to overlook how useful they are and how attached you become to having one.

As a diabetic I have always tried to stay fit and healthy and Fitbit has allowed me to track patterns and tends in my recovery and just be aware of places I could improve so it was not an option to be without.

The Versa3 is a very good looking device. The soft gold looks expensive and the Fitbit silicone strap is sturdy and well fitted and in my experience they last a long time. The packaging is very nice too and it feels like a beautiful puzzle box to open with all the accessories tucked neatly inside a small package.

You get the watch, two straps, a USB2 magnetic charger and some paperwork and the Versa has come on a lot since the first generation. Connecting to wifi, my phone and all associated apps was fast and easy and I haven’t found signal strength to be an issue at all.

The interface is bright and easy to use and while a few apps have been changed, updated or moved, it still has similar functionality to the original Versa but just faster and easier overall. It comes with Google Assistant features which I haven’t really used and you may or may not see the point of this but as someone who dislikes taking phone calls anywhere too public my experience with the voice features is minimal but apparently they are quite good!The Versa has a nice clear screen, the logo is missing from the front which makes it feel bigger than it is and only one ‘button’ on the left side, which isn’t a pressable button but a capacitive strip that buzzes when you squeeze it.

I always wear my Fitbit with a bumper screen protector so I am not sure about screen toughness over time, but the rounded edges and small form factor mean that the Fitbit feels compact and neat on your wrist, the sensors on the rear also seem to make good contact with my skin and no irritation has occurred at all while wearing it.

In general use I have been getting about 3 full days battery life, but I tend to pop mine on the charger while I take a shower so I rarely leave it charging until 100%, the charging via the cable is fast and the magnetic pebble is cute and very easy to use, I also like how I can charge it without needing to take the bumper off now, with my old Versa it had to be clipped into the charger which was awkward.

I believe if you disabled the GPS which is inbuilt, lowered screen brightness and other notifications you could squeeze 4 full days out of it. Overall the Versa3 is a very attractive smartwatch, it has a limited set of features compared to more specialist devices out there, but for the average non-athlete it is ideal as it’s easy to get to grips with and looks very stylish.

The screen is bright and crisp and the customisation gives it lasting appeal. Cons: -I prefer the squarer design of the Versa1. Many of the clockfaces and apps have not been optimised for the rounder bezel/screen of this version yet so it can feel like the screen is not fully utilised which is a waste.

As you often have to pay a small amount for the watch faces it can feel a bit of a cheat. -The capacitive button was a real mistake. It is a my biggest criticism. As it relies on skin contact, you can activate it if you bend your wrist too far back while sleeping or exercising and that can do things like start Google Assistant up, or pause an exercise.

So it would be better to have a clickable button to prevent this. I activate it alot while I am sleeping as I roll onto my arm and I find that this can deplete the battery. – Some good features have been removed such as the 2GB built in music storage, the Treasure Trek game and the ability to order your exercise choices inside the desktop/mobile app.

I have found workarounds or noticed that the features are utilised differently in some cases, but you may find this a deal breaker. -Still very limited apps and pay options exist, and the ones I found on the Vers3 were identical to the ones for my original Versa so they were slow and clunky as hadn’t been optimised.

-The strap connectors on the sides of the Versa3 are little tension based clips with plastic sliders. I have found that my strap frequently comes out of these connectors. So far it hasn’t caused me too many issues but it can be annoying, they should design a better mechanism.

-No included power brick, just a cable. The charger is good quality but v small so you might want to purchase a backup for trips or work.

I have owned a couple other FitBits and two Microsoft Bands (no longer made) and this is the worst of the bunch. My Fitbit Versa was a few years old and was starting to act up, so I figured I’d upgrade to the Versa 3.

The biggest problem is that it constantly becomes unpaired with my phone. This happens at least once a day and many days it’s multiple times. I have to reset it to reconnect and this brings me to another issue.

The “button” is not a physical button but a sensor of some sort and it is very difficult to hold it down long enough to get the Fitbit to reset. The unpairing is annoying and inconvenient at best, but has caused other problems as well.

When unpaired, the watch doesn’t keep time accurately. I use it as my alarm in the morning and on more than one occasion the Fitbit was several minutes slow. Fortunately, I use a backup alarm, or I would have been late to work.

The other problem with the button is that it is very sensitive and depending on where you wear the Fitbit, you can unintentionally trigger the button and actually start changing settings and such just from walking or moving around.

The Fitbit also freezes from time to time and is buggy – there are times where you cannot pull down your text messages, they just don’t show up. Also, the screen is very sensitive and warm shower water will cause it to activate and start scrolling through settings and different functions.

On the positive side, when it works, it works well. Even with all the problems, if I pay close attention I can keep on top of it and keep it working – it just takes several resets a day and frequent monitoring to see if it’s paired and telling time properly.

Also, the alarm is great because it uses a quiet vibration that wakes me up but doesn’t disturb my wife. Battery life is impressive, it’s comfortable, and seems pretty durable, but that is all overshadowed by the Fitbit just not working properly.

Pros: The battery life alone makes this purchases worthwhile. A full week of charge even with all my daily activities. Being able to record my sleep is a function lacking on the Apple Watch. Fitbit now gives you an overall score and it compromises of various things such as sleep, stress levels and heart rate- which is really handy when you’re training to ensure you’re taking care of your body.

It’s a slick design and tbh doesn’t look any different on the wrist. I had a Fitbit years ago and when I got my Apple Watch I always found myself comparing the two. Glad to be back. Cons: It’s very much an Android platform.

The design functionality is a bit clunky and not really as “sexy” as Apple Watch- it’s hard to explain if you haven’t had an Apple Watch. The Watch faces are very limited and I’m unable to add my own photo to use as Watch background.

This might just be the case on my Versa 3. My watch strap feels a bit cheap on the wrist and I might look into seeing if I can swap it for something that’s not fitting of the face of the Watch. Some of the premium video that’s your paying for are really good, but there is no option to report feedback.

I attempted to do a kickboxing video and they kept panning on the surroundings instead of the instructors. I gave up 5min in as i couldn’t keep up with the instructions or instructors it just wasn’t clear enough and you couldn’t see what the instructors where doing as the green-screen background was more important.

If you only want to record steps in walks, sport etc. this is great. The ECG works very well too, and sleep recognition is good. The drawbacks are irritating and limiting: you need to take150 steps before it triggers.

Who jumps out of bed and takes 150 steps? The accelerometer will register walking uphill, but ignores stairs, even at stations like London Bridge where you walk up the equivalent of several staircases in one slope.

Other faults include a too short wristband _ on the standard size Fitbit I have 2 or 3 spare holes. The app does not operate in metres,maddening, yet hours slept are expressed in decimals e. g. you slept 7.

72 hours. Maddening! Wish I had done more research before purchase, this does not suit me as around the house and garden accounts for much of my activity.

Does not monitor ECG automatically. If you press the button by accident the hands spin around until you notice and repress to stop them. Strap would be better if an inch longer as it would stop constant catching on clothing and flicking out of retainer.

The watch seems to decide some nights that it doesn’t need to monitor sleep. It states ‘Signs of Atrial Fibrillation’ but doctor says not accurate. The overall quality is much better than those cheapo crappy Chinese watches and seems to be a lot more accurate regardless of what doctor says.

I would say it is worth it if you have symptoms and want to get a quick check reading if they happen, then you can decide if it is severe enough to go to doctor. In my case I have no symptoms so it is only a periodic check.

Excellent delivery service. The watch is exactly what I wanted because of the long battery life. It is very reasonably priced and has a variety of additional features. It also links with the Withings scales and the app is easy to use.

It is comfortable to wear despite the rubber strap.

I did a fair amount of research and went to the Apple store before buying and am very pleased with the Versa 2. Setup was easy and worked without any issues. My understanding is that the watch collects the data which is passed to your SmartPhone resident FitBit app and to the FitBit cloud under your account.

Some parameters are setup on the app while some are set in the watch and I seem to recall but can’t be sure that there were a couple of parameters which could only be setup by logging into your FitBit account via a browser.

Battery life is excellent and I have measured the batter drain a couple of times and it consistently draws 1/2% per hour which equates to 8 day battery life as promised by FitBit. I bout this mainly for the continuous heart rate monitoring and gym exercise tracking.

The heart rate as measured by the FitBit is very accurate. I wanted to be able to display my current heart rate continuously while exercising which the Apple watch couldn’t do. FitBit does have an optional subscription which shows a little more info and more historical info.

Without the subscription some health metrics are only displayed for the last week but if longer historical info is needed you could record it in a spreadsheet. The silicon watch bands are OK and adequately comfortable although I think that an elastic band might be more comfortable.

The display is large and is easy to read. I need reading glasses to read but I can see most of the data on the watch that I’m interested in without using reading glasses. I like the physical button on the side which takes you to the previous screen somewhat like a home button although the touch screen sensitivity for swiping between screens works well.

The screen organization and navigation on the watch is largely intuitive and works well. The GUI (Graphical User Interface) on both the watch and the app are well thought out and executed. FitBit sells both watches and trackers.

A tracker is smaller than the fitness watch and doesn’t perform all of the Smart Watch non fitness functions. For me the fitness tracker screen is too small and swiping is more cumbersome (you have a shorter distance to swipe).

I bought a FitBit Luxe tracker for my partner because she wanted something that looked more feminine and was smaller. I tried her tracker and solely due to the size would have returned it if I had bought it for me.

I briefly considered the Versa 3 but didn’t see any functionality that justified the higher price. If I was a runner and didn’t run with a Smart Phone in my pocket I would have seriously considered the Versa 3.

The Versa 3 has a GPS received built-in while the Versa 2 uses your phone’s GPS receiver.

Generally I’ve been really pleased with this, but there have been a few annoying issues so lost 1 star. On the positive side of things, the watch is lightweight and whilst isn’t small and inconspicuous it sits nicely on the wrist (I’m female with quite tiny wrists and was a bit worried it might look like a big black box balanced on my wrist but it absolutely doesn’t).

I love the rose gold colour and this looks lovely with the blush strap, and it’s been super easy to set up, pair with the app and navigate all the settings. It synchs well, and provides a good range of information.

The charge lasts me around 4 full days and recharges really quickly so you don’t lose out on too much activity! On the negative side of things, the range of free (ie not via Fitbit premium) mindfulness exercises is really poor at only 2: I’m getting quite bored of these already after just a month, but really can’t justify £7.

99/month for more variety! I recently travelled to Europe and it would not switch time zones despite trying several times in settings in the app and following all the necessary directions: this was quite frustrating as it also meant I lost my clock face that measures oxygen saturation.

As I was in high altitude I was interested in this data and impact on my activity. Final negative is that one morning it “recognised” my 300 meter swim when I’d only got out of bed and made a coffee! Hasn’t done this since so I’m assuming this was a blip.

Overall I’ve found this a much more affordable first foray into smart watches than the Apple Watch, and whilst of course it’s not as sophisticated, for me, I feel that it offers a good range of excessive types and gives enough information for now.

I personally don’t feel Fitbit premium is worth the subscription fee so haven’t bothered taking advantage of the 6months free offer that came with the purchase. This had a price offer when I purchased so was good value and as always, great customer service in store (Cheadle) from JL.

Bought the Versa 2 after noticing declining/inconsistent heart rate readings specifically in indoor spin classes. Seems like each watch I have declines in quality (charge 2 from 2017-2019, versa lite from 2019-2020 when heart rate monitor completely died and Fitbit thankfully send a replacement, then versa lite #2 from 2020-2022, at which time I HOPED Fitbits software would have improved on the notorious failure of heart rate monitoring on stationary bikes).

The versa 2 was quickly and noticeably the worst of all Fitbit watches I’ve tried so far. I go on a daily fast-paced walk where my heart rate is average 123 BPM. In spin class, my heart rate will hit my “peak” zone for about a minute, then will drop from about 170 to 94 BPM with no decrease in my effort.

This is when I am gasping for air and sweating profusely, and I’ll tell you I certainly don’t break a sweat on my walks with 123 average BPM. I think this is my third product review ever, which tells you how severely disappointed I am in FitBit’s inability hear customer concerns and invest in R&D to fix this problem.

Obviously I will switch back to my three year old versa lite and return the versa 2. Apple Watch was also a great alternative but one thing I appreciate about Fitbit is the app interface and sleep monitoring (superior to Apple Watch in those two ways).

Anyway, don’t buy the versa 2, it’s very pretty but functions poorly in comparison to earlier Fitbit products (but they ALL have very poor and inconsistent heart rate monitoring on a stationary bike- no matter how dry you keep your wrist, how much you try not to obstruct blood flow on the handles, how far up your wrist you wear it, etc.

Perfect size,starlight silver is a very nice colour! Lots of sensors which they work extremely precise, 32Gb of storage which is more than enough for the watch. Love the new temperature sensor , bought this for my wife.

A lot of usefull features which work so well with the Iphone. Colour is exactly like in the videos and photos so don’t grt fooled by other reviewers saying that its not quite the colour advertised, trust me it is! It definetly worth the money and to upgrade! Very pleased with this Apple Watch, both me and my wife! Buy with confidence, I highly recommend!.

The last watch I had was series 7 GPS+Cellular and the battery would last 2 days. My husband got the series 8 GPS only for my birthday. It feels a tad bit lighter and lasts almost 3 full days when I turn off certain apps I don’t use.

When I’m busy I use the watch to answer phone calls, messages and Siri to set timers, it also drains the battery quicker when you use the fitness app. But I don’t mind. I love the new series 8 in product red and hopefully can get one for my husband due to phone restriction at work.

It would probably be better to buy this expensive watch on a Black Friday to save $$$. I couldn’t wait to get mine since they came out a day before my birthday….

This is a nice iWatch. I traded a 44mm Series 6 for this Series 8 45mm watch. Much of the functionality is the same or very similar to the Series 6. Some of the health functions are upgraded. The watch does require that your iPhone be upgraded to iOS 16 or above.

The 45mm watch accepts watchbands that fit earlier versions of the 44mm iWatch. I’m not a fan of the silicone watch band that comes with the watch so I traded it for a nylon sport loop watch band. You do need to know whether you need a small or large watchband as Apple no longer supplies both in the box.
