Okay, hear me out. This product is absolutely wonderful for stretch marks. At least while I could use it. I was able to feel the hydration and loved how smooth my belly was. I did have to wear a belly band under my shirt because I was afraid it would ruin the few maternity shirts I had.

But hey! I’d rather have that than stretch marks, right? Unfortunately, I was nauseous with my son for the whole pregnancy, and the smell of this lotion (I still remember it perfectly to this day 9 years later) was too sweet and overpowering that I wasn’t able to use this after a few months.

I had three more pregnancies after that one and with the first two I tried using this but couldn’t take the smell. I really dislike it to this day so much that my sister used it recently and I couldn’t stand it.

But I was unlucky in that sense. I would’ve loved to be able to use this because I know for a fact it works after countless success stories from my friends and family. I’m done having kids now but if I could tell one thing to this company, would be to make a fragrance free version.

I have been using this every morning since being about 12 weeks pregnant, teamed with another branded serum which I apply at night before bed. I’m now 36 weeks pregnant. I can’t say how effective this product is on its own as I have been using it alongside another product.

I didn’t believe this oil would work, honestly. I’ve been using Belly Oil since the end of November/early December (going into my 4th month of pregnancy) after reading positive reviews about it. The only stretch marks that you can see are from my first two pregnancies, from about 16 years ago, and those stretch marks are still white/light.

I do not have any red/purple stretch marks at all on my belly, sides, or thighs; knock on wood lol. I will try to update again when I’m in my 9th month of pregnancy. In my previous two pregnancies, I used cocoa butter and that did not work at all for me.

I absolutely LOVE this oil. It’s not heavy but it’s very moisturizing nonetheless. I also don’t have a problem with the scent. It’s fresh, not medicinal or perfume like. I started using it for a scar on my foot after surgery 3 years ago and it was looking bad.

This oil has faded the visibility of the scar so much so that it’s barely noticeable. I then decided to try it out on my legs for scars I’ve had for years. It not only diminished the sight of them but, I noticed that any dark marks on my legs are gone.

It’s faded stretch marks on my thighs from losing weight and it’s removed acne scars from me popping pimples on my face that left dark marks. This product is AMAZING. I’m not understanding people expecting anything to completely get rid of stretch marks or surgical scars completely that they’ve had for years.

The product doesn’t claim to ever do that. It will however make them less noticeable. If you continue to use it over time, you’ll continue to see results that are truly noticeable. Don’t expect anything to work overnight but continued use does provide great results.

I had a major surgery where I got my top left rib taken out and pulled off my lung. The nurses took me off for surgery prep and decided to tell me that this particular surgery is the most painful one to go through.

But once my wound was mostly sealed up I started putting the oil on it every day. You barely need any. Just unscrew the cap, put your finger over the opening and pull the bottle back up so you don’t get too much or make a mess.

Add that bit and then add more if youd like and just massage it to help stretch the skin. Even the small. 5 Oz one will last you forever. Anyways, I was bed bound for 2 months and I kept the oil next to me.

Idk about y’all but I’m constantly putting chapstick on. It’s a habit. So I started that with the Bio Oil. It soaks in really well or you can just rub it enough to sit on the scar. Since I didn’t move a lot or wear any nice clothing.

I would use the oil and rub it in and then put aquaphor over it to keep it extra moisturized. Not a necessary step though. If you rub in just the oil though it won’t get on your clothing and won’t be noticeable once it soaks in enough.

I really wish there was some way it would let me show you my before and after pictures. It’s unreal. No one knows it’s there except me. I even put a tattoo right next to it to commemorate it, but no one sees is.

I also have friends that use the oil religiously on their belly and hips and thighs throughout pregnancy and stretch marks never even came up. The ingredients allow your skin to become more stretchy so if you do it before, your skin is used to the stretching already.

If you put it on scars and stretch marks afterwards, you have to be patient and allow the oil and massaging to do its work to allow that skin to soften up and come back together. I’m a beauty consultant and I sell this to anyone with scarring or stretch marks or acne scars.

It also helps current acne. It’s non-comedogenic and won’t clog your pores. It’s also a good reminder not to pick and cause more scars. I also like to use it on my lips before matte lipstick to keep my lips moisturized.

My favorite way to use it is to put a bit on any dry skin on my face, especially near my eyes. Massaging it on my under eyes helps with dark spots and brightening because of the vitamin c. My true beauty secret though, and the reason people ask me all the time if my lashes are fake, i massage Bio Oil on my lashes, eyebrows, and then if i feel extra dry or have worn lots of makeup lately, I’ll seal all that with aquaphor or Vaseline.

One more trick to Bio Oil, add a touch to your pulse points (wrists, behind ears, between chest. really anywhere you feel gets warm a lot) and rub it in just a little. Then spray your perfume or cologne to make it last hours more than usual.

I would bet my life on this product. Those who are saying it doesn’t work, you’re not being patient and consistent. And you’re not being creative haha! You really can’t put it on too many times. Just like working out.

– The container is opaque, which is great because vitamin C is very unstable and I appreciate that the container protects the product from light. – MIXING IT MYSELF. This is actually a common complaint about this product, but because of how unstable vitamin C is, being able to mix it yourself means this will stay potent longer.

– As mentioned before, the fact that it has 15% l-ascorbic acid. That is necessary if you want long term benefits of vitamin c. _ Squashing the lower reviews (if I had known this information, I wouldn’t have waited so long to buy this product!): – People say it’s “hard to pour and mix” but if you are an averagely-abled person, IT IS NOT.

I genuinely was rooting for this one! First, The good: The shelf life is a lot higher than most other Vit C serums and products. Vitamin C is not super shelf stable, so it can make using this product over time pretty unsustainable, but the redesign made it so that you mix it yourself, cutting out the time between production and your first use, thus you can use it longer! Which is a huge plus.

I store mine in the fridge to prolong its effectiveness. It is also effective, I use it with the Protini Moisturizer and they play really well with one another. This serum is great for brightening and my skin is visibly smoother in the morning when I use it before bed.

I think it could be an amazing option if someone is looking for effectiveness and strength in a serum. Now, the bad: The SMELL. The scent of this is nauseating. I’m not sensitive to scents, but this one is awful.

I have gotten myself mostly used to it by now from regular use, but sometimes its so intense I will have to wash it off before the morning. I can’t quite describe it because it isn’t a fragrance, its that metallic, almost bloodlike smell some vit cs have, but pumped to the max.

I will use it because I love the effects it has on my skin, but it’s sometimes hard to stomach. The texture is also pretty unpleasant, its very sticky and sits on top of the skin for a long while before it finally sinks into the skin, sometimes I will still feel it in the morning.

I usually will use excess serums on my hands for some added moisture or to prevent aging, but with this one I need to wash it off immediately, because I feel like I could stick to the wall like Spiderman if I put my hand on it.

) When I got in bed, I immediately noticed how rough and dry and weird the bottoms of my feet felt compared to the silky smoothness of the rest of my skin. It bothered me so much I had to get out of bed and use this on my feet–which immediately felt amazing.

You can apply this just by using your hands, or turn the container upside down, give it a good hard tap on the bottom, and opening the container upside down to rub it like a bar all over your skin. Unfortunately, it was too warm/soft for me to use it as a bar, but it quickly melts with body heat.

I am now wondering how I lived my life without this and interested in trying other Palmer’s products. Must have!.

As a dude with sensitive skin that is itchy always, I wanted to try something cheap and nature based than lotions that use mineral oil as the first ingredient (although those are the best and palmers also uses mineral oil but it’s not listed as one of the first 3 ingredients).

Pros: it hydrates well 10/10, cheap, and skin does feel smooth after application. Cons: the smell is the same as chocolate frosting, which I don’t mind but also don’t love. You can’t wear fragrance with this lotion because the scent is powerful.

Another con, you really have to work it through your skin. I spent about 10 mins on my whole body making sure it was rubbed in completely. And then it takes another 15 mins to absorb well. So definitely not the type of lotion you can apply and then put on clothing.

I think for what it is and for the price, it’s reasonable and it does it’s job. Even with the scent, it’s a solid 3 stars. If it didn’t have fragrance it would probably be 4 star product.

This is a staple in so many households. I wish I used it Religiously when I was pregnant and afterwords so I didn’t have the marks I do now. I posted a pic of the bottle and the lotion and also a pic of my one calf.

I used this product for 4 weeks, as I want my review to be as accurate, fair and honest. When I first opened the box it looks like a parfum of gold liquid. Then I dropped a few on my hands and the smell was just amazing.

okay so when this brand first launched at sephora I got this along with the body cream, face cream, and belly mask in gratis. I was skeptical and confused about this product and why it was gifted to me considering it’s a line catered towards pregnant people (which I am not).

Though, using these products over the last little bit and doing a bit of research on them, I’ve come to really love the line. I use this serum as an all over body oil after the shower. I put this on first and then layer a body lotion on top (I alternate between brands).

It feels super soft and hydrating. But the reason I especially like it is because of how well it has been soothing the irritation over my body. I’ve been doing laser hair removal on my entire body and I find after shaving the night before my skin gets really irritated, and becomes even more irritated after the laser treatments.

After I shower I apply this on my skin and I find it helps to soothe any irritation from the laser treatment which I’ve been liking. I do have some stretch marks from a couple years ago and this serum really has not done anything to help with those but I also did not expect it to considering those stretch marks are old.

It could be more effective in reducing the appearance of new and forming stretch marks, just probably not old ones.

This product was the ONLY thing that controlled my puppp rash when I was pregnant. I had been prescribed antihistamines and a prescription lotion to try help the itching and redness. The Mama Mio tummy butter was the only thing I had tried that works.

If cooled the itching right down and helped the redness look less angry. Puppp doesn’t go away until post birth but this cream helped get me through until then. It’s very reasonably priced and often comes in bundles with other Mama Mio products for you to enjoy too such as they’re gentle belly scrub.

My favourite cream during pregnancy. I always applied on my belly and breast Mustela oil first and the Mamma Mio Tummy Rub Butter on the top twice a day, morning and evening. It was a game changed! I felt my skin soft and I felt more comfortable.

High recommend this. And I continue using this during breast feeding too. Definitely the best cream for pregnant woman in the market at the moment. It worth the price and I will continue buying this for sure.

This is my all time favorite body lotion EVER! Loved it when I was pregnant, and love it now as my everyday lotion. The smell is a light citrusy aroma with my absolute favorite NEROLI, and it leaves my skin feeling so hydrated but not greasy.

I’m not a fan of when you can feel your skin care just sitting on your skin and, thankfully, this doesn’t do that! And did I mention the scent? I mentioned the scent, right? It’s so perfectly light and delicate and I never get sick of it.

like ever. So lovely! Bonus, for it keeping my extremely sensitive skin moisturized and happy.

This is my 2nd pregnancy and 1st time ordering from earth mama, I ordered both the oil and belly butter. I use the oil after showering and the butter before bed. The butter has a more noticeable scent compared to the oil but its a nice light citrus smell that doesn’t linger.

Its creamy and soothing when applied, i wake up and my skin feels very soft and hydrated. My favorite thing about these products so far is the price. I have paid alot more for products that don’t work or smell as good.

Another plus is the packaging of both the belly butter and the oil. The packaging is smart, i love the butter is in a pump bottle and not a wide container and the oil is a spray applicator – NO MESS, I have used many oils and other products and it always ends in a mess with oil dripping everywhere or dropping the lid of messy containers with slippy hands.

The packaging is perfect. I will be ordering again.

I just recently tried this lotion because I was complaining about ashy legs and a friend of mine swears by it. It is awesome if you don’t mind oil! It does absorb the dryer your skin is, so I find myself reapplying until I can feel a thin layer remaining to know my skin is properly moisturized.

A welcome but unexpected side effect is that it’s also lightened some of the scarring I have on my hands and wrists from working with dry ice in the past! I don’t have before photos, but it is noticeably lightening them.

It does have the texture of a cleansing balm or solid oil, so it’s something to note if you have a Thing with oily lotions, but the benefits definitely out weigh the texture in the winter for my partner with chronically dehydrated skin, as he is adverse to how lotion feels.

I also wouldn’t recommend this specific on for the face as cocoa butter can clog pores + experienced clogging with this when I used too much of this one. Overall, great product, especially for dry winter skin! kelly.

Cocoa butter is the gold standard for expectant mothers for stretch marks. Palmers was the one I always purchased and used. It was a nice formula with that natural nice cocoa butter fragrance. I have to say it works amazing because I got huge with my first pregnancy, preeclampsia swelling and alot of weight gain to the point my own mother didn’t recognize me when she traveled the 1000 miles to attend the birth of her first grandchild.

So, it would be expected that I would have stretch marks all over my body but I have to believe the use of this cocoa butter designed for stretch marks helped me to not end up with as many. Of course I did acquire stretch marks on my tummy, hips and breasts…that’s just silly to think I wouldn’t.

But after 2 pregnancies and getting over 205lbs with one and 180 with the second I can honestly say my stretch marks are barely visible, they aren’t wide, deep and very noticeable at all!!! Using this during and after pregnancy is a must to preserve our skin and minimize and reduce our mama tiger stripes!!.

Really love this product for keeping my skin soft and smooth during pregnancy. I have very sensitive skin which becomes more sensitive and itchy during pregnancy. It’s my second time that I order this cream and I think I’ll keep using after delivery too.

In my opinion, this one Compare to the other brands is the best specifically when you are expecting. Because it’s non greasy and very lightweight, absorb quickly and easily. I used it several times during a day, I put it in the restroom and even in the middle of the night when I get up for going to restroom, I apply some of this cream on my hip and stomach.

That sounds funny but I’m doing it because it’s very light and absorb right away. So far I didn’t have any strech mark in late third trimester. In the ingredients mentioned that it’s plant based and no chemicals.

It was very important for me not to put chemical products during pregnancy.

This item is great, and buybuybaby has slightly cheaper than other website. I ordered this item,(stretch marks PREVENTION cream) but they kept sending me wrong item which is cheaper than this one. They sent me Mustela stretch marks cream 3 in 1 instead of this one, so I requested replacement.

They want me to return the item, which I did. After that was confirmed, they send another package, supposedly with the correct item – but again they send wrong one- mustela stretch marks cream 3 in 1.

I doubt if they really have this item in their storage now,… I don’t recommend to buy this stretch marks PREVENTION cream from buybuybaby.

I was so happy to find a stretch mark preventing cream that was unscented. My first trimester, I was soooo nauseous that the cream I used my pregnancy with my daughter (Palmer’s) was making me more nauseous even tho it was just a natural scent.

This stuff feels about the same but without any smell to it. I was extremely thankful to find it! So far so good!.

This is such a great for pregnancy to prevent stretch marks and also to prevent other scarring from a acne or a simple scratch. As for acne, mineral oil is non comedogenic, so no it will NOT clog your pores.

There’s a ton of bad hype and misinformation on mineral oil out there. most of which are not true!That being said, there are no studies evaluating the effectiveness of it in treating acne. There is no reason to think it would affect acne in a positive or negative way.

It may help soothe dry irritated skin. everyone’s skin reacts differently. My only complaint is it dose have essential oils, which are known to cause skin irritation, more specifically those with skin conditions like sensitivity from having rosacea and current inflammation irritation from severe acne, sunburn, windburn, etc.

These essential oils are most likely reason why some people are having a reaction. It’s not necessarily the mineral oil but another ingredient in the product. like the essential oils that are triggering a reaction like acne.

When it comes down to it. I prefer jojoba oil as it’s a multipurpose product when applying to the face. However, mineral oil is not going to clog your pores and it is safe to use. Cosmetics-grade mineral oil and petrolatum are considered the safest, most non-sensitizing moisturizing ingredients ever found! It’s completely safe, soothing, non-sensitizing, and perfectly beneficial for skin.

I have been using this for literally over 15 years, as I have a ton of scars. Unfortunately it doesn’t work great on already established scars, but it helps heal any wounds. It lasts for quite some while, and is great on face, body, even sometimes I’ll use it on the ends of my hair, and I think potentially it could help on the scalp too, its very multi-purpose.

It dries pretty quickly without making you feel slimy or too sticky. When my skin is super dry, it just sucks this product in, I love it. Sometimes I’ll mix some in with moisturiser to get a double effect.

It used to be rather expensive but now its become a lot cheaper, and is a staple for me. Great for hydration, preventing stretch marks or scars (in the earlier red stages, obviously not a wound though!), and it doesn’t break me out.

My skin is acne prone but I’m in my early 30s so its not as bad as when I was a teen. Anecdotally I’ve heard some people do break out from it, and skin either loves or hates it, but if it does break you out, just use it on your body! I love the smell of it, its not fragranced nor medical, just a general sort of soft smell.

The lid unscrews and it has a hole in the second lid, so you don’t end up using a ton or spilling it. If you are travelling, perhaps keep it in a sandwich bag in case it does leak, and inevitably the bottle does get a bit oily after using so I try to wipe it down and avoid it getting on my clothes, just like you would with any other oil.

If you’ve been on the fence, grab some when its on sale, it can be a huge game changer for some people.

If I could give this product 10 stars I would. I started using this product in the second trimester of my pregnancy in hopes to prevent stretch marks. As to prevent them, unfortunately it didn’t happen, my stretch marks we’re multiplying alarmingly day by day, so I knew that I shouldn’t have unreal expectations.

I think for me it was genetic. HOWEVER, I must say as it can be seen in the pictures, this product worked wonders AFTER I gave birth. I have been using it religiously since the second trimester, up until now, 7 months post partum.

I think the pictures will prove what this product is capable of more than my words would. PS: the big stretch marks shrunk a lot, while the smaller ones disappeared completely! I would like to give one piece of advice to any person that uses this oil: please use it on damp skin OR 10 minutes after applying your regular moisturizer because oils need a little help in order to absorb into your skin, so while your pores are open and trying to absorb the water on your skin or the moisturizer on your skin, that’s the prime time to apply the Bio Oil as well so it can be absorbed in!.

I’m not pregnant however I get really tender and achy boobs when on my period. This cream is so hydrating and definitely soothes them. The almost gel-like texture is so cooling and definitely gives instant relief.

I bought it for my pregnant and breastfeeding family members and they both love it! Would 100% recommend.

This is a great product – keeps my skin feeling supple and nourished. The new packaging seems much more efficient than the old pump system (which always seemed a bit over complicated) but the lid is a bit loose so best to tape when travelling! New fragrance is better for me too.

Very happy and will continue to use.

I’ve experienced sporadic and quite intense breast pain which lasts around 20 minutes at a time during my pregnancy. When I put this on it subsides in a few minutes. It’s a life saver, I’ve started taking it everywhere with me.

Cependant, j’ai réussi à le développer en obtenant de merveilleux résultats sur ma peau, me laissant une peau jeune et illuminée, à part cela, le produit n’a aucun autre avantage. Son rapport qualité – prix: le produit n’est pas viable et n’aura aucun résultat sur votre peau s’il n’est pas utilisé correctement, à la longue il est beaucoup plus cher, car pour un résultat maximum il faut prévoir: laver son visage deux fois par jour et pas avec le même lavage que celui utilisé pour l’enlever, il doit être crémeux et adapté pour un lavage de jour moins abrasif et plus doux, de même si un écran solaire anti-acné n’est pas utilisé, il est très probable que des boutons apparaissent.

De plus, après l’application, le visage ne peut être touché par aucun autre corps car le film désagréable apparaîtra. Par conséquent, l’application d’un écran solaire est presque un défi, dans lequel la plupart du temps nous échouerons.

Le produit maximise les résultats de l’Alpha Arbutin, mais seulement s’il est appliqué correctement, ce qui indique clairement qu’ici le produit vedette serait l’Alpha Arbutin et non la suspension azélaique.

En termes de beauté avancée, une hydratation du côlon aux herbes ayurvédiques est nécessaire pour maximiser les résultats avant l’application de ce produit simple à 7 euros. Alors à vous de décider.

J’ai senti les resultats au bout d’environ un mois d’utilisation matin et soir. Senti car ma peau est nettement plus agréable au toucher, plus lisse. Par contre, pas de différence au niveau de l’aspect visuel.

La texture est assez désagréable, très épaisse et s’étale mal mais la crème est vite absorbée et laisse un toucher sec. Il donne des résultats donc produit pas trop mal et le prix est très acceptable, cependant je ne rachèterai pas car je pense pouvoir trouver mieux.

Je rachète à chaque fois parce que le produit m’aide à diminuer les boutons. La texture est un peu siliconée et c’est pas bien pour mettre des autres produits après, elle pele est fait de boules comme vous pouvez lire dans autres opinions.

Par contre, je l’utilise quelques fois par semaine comme soin de nuit et je l’adore. Je sent bien la difference quand j’utilise ce produit et je le recommande pour les peux grasses.

Bought as a gift for my sister when she was 3 months into her pregnancy and it was very well received! She loves the products and says they’ve been great throughout her pregnancy. She’s now 7 months and still has some left.

A great way for her to try a range of products out and the wash bag is a lovely touch and useful addition. I’d definitely recommend it!.

So I had built my own bundle and absolutely loved the products, the smell was amazing and can see it was working well on my skin and maintaining no stretch marks (I’m currently 25 weeks) I bought this one and I’m so gutted, it says in the product details that the volume is 120ml however that’s with all 4 added together! They are 30ml and that information was misleading.

They are tiny and won’t last longer than a week, maybe 2. So frustrated because otherwise I’m inlove with this skincare range but 30ml is ridiculously small and unrealistic for the amount of skin coverage you need when pregnant.

I bought this for my friend who is expecting. It is a great way to try and test the products before buying the full size ones. Also perfect for travelling or putting in your hospital bag. I’ve used the boob cream, tummy butter and nibble balm which are fab!.

I love this cream, I have used it from about 16 weeks, it’s thick and moisturising without being heavy. I use after every shower and if my skin feels right or itchy, I am currently 37 weeks with no stretch marks.

Pregnacare has been great to use throughout my pregnancy and afterwards.
