20 Best Skincare For Clogged Pores (2023 Updated)

My previous liquid exfoliant from another brand contained alcohol, and after years of use my skin was grey and dry. I switched to this as an alcohol-free alternative, but it gave me lots of bumps under my skin on my cheeks.

These bumps would get inflamed and turn into huge horrible spots, then they would retreat back down and become skin bumps again, only to get inflamed and rise up once more! I have never had bumps or spots like these before.

I tried using it more often, I tried using it less often, but it made no difference. I eventually gave up and these bumps took months to go away and settle back into my normal, more manageable acne! I will say I have recently discovered the PC Pore Purifier.

I mix a drop with my serum twice a day and that has made a huge improvement to my acne. So maybe this stuff was too strong for my skin?.

I think this is possibly the first (maybe second) review I have ever made on a product. But I had to come on here and really tell someone (other than my family) about this. I’ve struggled with my skin since young adult life.

It was never terrible, but definitely something I would get insecure about from time to time when I’d get bad breakouts. And that started happening way more frequently as I was getting older which was weird because don’t you expect BETTER skin after those awkward teen years? I never found the right combination of products to elevate my skin from being bumpy, uneven, clogged pored, to really being confident with or without makeup.

I ordered this a few weeks ago and. let me tell you. It has really made the biggest impact with unclogging those awful nose pores. And has made my skin so much more even than I’ve seen it in years. My skin is also VERY sensitive and this does not irritate it one bit.

I would also recommend applying the liquid with your fingers and not a cotton pad to really get all of the product into your skin (a tip I used from another fellow reviewer). I have never tried any Paula’s Choice products, but if the others are anything as close to what they’ve done with this, I’m very excited to try others! Thanks so much for helping my skin (:

I bought this on a whim yesterday when I was buying my regular facial cleanser. I have only put it on twice and I can tell a major difference already! I’ve had blackheads for years on the tip of my nose and I just assumed they were going to be there forever because all the cleansers I’ve tried have never made a difference.

I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but for me, it is not; this product is amazing and I wish I would have found it years ago! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it doesn’t smell very good, but that’s a small sacrifice I’m willing to make because of the great results I’ve seen so far.

I first bought this to see if it would anyway help with boosting my complexion and PIH/dark spots on my face. I was hoping that this product would slightly help with my complexion and expecting it to cause acne breakouts and/or irritation on my sensitive skin.

Sometimes I get surprised by which products my skin decides not to react to. I was speechless with the results that this toner gave me. and then when my speechlessness recovered I couldn’t stop talking about it! My acne went from roughly 50% severe (average pencil eraser-head sized) and 50% cystic (dime-sized) to 40% severe, 30% cystic (Jan 2022) to 30% severe & 20% cystic (May 2022).

This product also lightened up my PIH from a dark brown to a less dark brown and helped (along with rest of my skincare) erase some dark marks. It smells like a tropical cherry and floral combo, sweeter, more tropical, less intense than the cleanser.

The smell vanishes within 3 minutes. This toner feels like a loose gel or a serum in my hands. I prefer to use my hands to apply this. Fat water toner has the EXACT SAME texture on the face as the Avène anti-imperfection concentrate.

I 100% believe that there were some cosmetic formulators/scientists/chemists shared between the teams behind these products. On top of it, both companies have French connections (Avène is French and Fenty Skin is co-owned by LVMH).

You cannot convince me otherwise. The packaging is nice, pretty, and sleek. While I usually prefer pumps for serum, I like this method of pouring out the toner as for me, the toner is too liquid-y to be a proper serum.

I like the quantity, 50 mL lasts ~1. 5 months sporadically used (1-2 times a week) and 150 mL is enough for alternate day application on my face for 4 months. A staple in my skincare routine & must-have product in regards to my acne, PIH, and dark marks.

Strongly recommend.

This is the only product in the line where I know the only issue that came up for me could have came from. I ordered the set that included the total remove it all cleanser, toner, and the moisturizer.

However, with the toner, since it does include witch hazel, it dried out my skin a slight bit. I’d like to mention that I have really sensitive skin and my skin always gets irritated when trying out new products and I experience bad redness although none of these products made my face red which is a first and something I was beyond impressed with.

I have never suffered from acne besides one year in high school or have ever had oily skin and I have never suffered any skin condition such rosacea, eczema, or psoriasis. I only like to use witch hazel on my face whenever I have a small stubborn pimple, because it usually does the trick.

However, I don’t really like to use just witch hazel on my face, because my skin is way too sensitive for that. However, after going through my skincare routine with these products, most likely from the toner, I experienced a little bit of peeling only outside of the area surrounding the outside of my lips, which I thought was kind of weird, no where else on my face, just that specific part.

Also, I experienced no redness at all which is something quite shocking to me, my skin did not feel warm and hot, and I only experienced all little discomfort from my skin on the area surrounding the outside of my lips, because a couple hours later after using all the products I noticed, small white flakes surrounding just that area on my face.

Whenever, I have used a bottled of just which hazel alone from the drug store, it does not matter what brand, all brands that I have used cause my skin to peel by really drying it out and I get a lot of white flakes.

However, with the fat water just a slight bit of peeling because I only had a few white flakes appear on my face on just that spot of my face. I experienced no redness at all from this product alone or the other ones in this skincare line, which I’m amazed with and it’s very difficult to find something that actually works on your face when you have extremely sensitive skin like me and works good for your skin skin, because I did not get any redness at all and my skin did not feel like it was burning for once.

I would like to mention that the white flakes were gone after I splashed just some water on my face and my white flakes were removed and you weren’t even able to tell that my skin even slightly peeled in the first place, which I thought was really great and whenever I put some just some witch hazel alone on my face, the peeling and white flakes never go away after wetting my face with water, they only go away 2 days later after I last used the witch hazel.

I thought the fat water was still good, but would probably be the only thing I wouldn’t reorder after I finish this one that came with my set I ordered, because I don’t find it necessary, since I have extremely sensitive skin and anyone with sensitive skin like myself, I don’t think it’s necessary if the fat water did that to you.

However, I do want to mention that I think anyone wouldn’t mind using this product, who has any other skin type besides those who have sensitive skin like myself and I thought the product was still good.

Only issue that came was that it did dry up my skin slightly, because of some white flakes surrounding that spot on my face and no redness from extreme irritation and no burning at all, which I thought was still great, because for me it’s so hard to find a product that does leave my face all red and feels like it’s burning my face.

I think all other skin types would think that this product is still great, besides those with sensitive skin. This is the only reason why I would avoid this specific product in the future, because of this small issue that resulted after using the entire skincare routine and I don’t think it was a must have for me and why it’s a pass, overall very impressed with the other two products, besides this one.

I have combo dry skin, and when it’s hot-humid-sticky weather, I get tiny zit like bumps around my T-zone. Needless to say, this toner is used for this weather. My skincare routine is catered to the seasons, so it changes as needed.

I don’t wash my face with soap twice a day, I do it once a day so I don’t strip away too much of my natural oils. I feel like this toner could have a higher performance potential on healthy “skin barriers”.

I didn’t get this to “shrink” my pores, rather I got this to protect my pores from clogging invasions from a multitude of foreign threats. I like to apply this toner after light exfoliation to avoid dead skin cells from teaming up together and clumping.

I do get a light tingling sensation when applied, and I do notice some shine control where my problem pores are. It helped reduce the look of enlarged pores. I like to spread the product and lightly pat the product into my skin where I need a bit more help.

I like that it has vitamin C and niacinamide, so it’s a pretty good summer toner to apply for improved spf benefits from sun protection. I personally wouldn’t use this toner on dryer weather like winter.

My go-to is Laneige or Fresh for that. This product works for me, and good luck for people still looking for a product that can work for them.

I have hereditary dark circles. Took me 33 years to come to terms that nothing will make them go away. I have tried so many products and wasted copious amounts of money. So this one worker at Sephora that is super honest recommended this and Dr.

Jart’s Tigergrass Camo Drops combo. The Camo Drops are beige and mask more than treat but the Dr. Dennis Serum reduces the redness/puffiness. It worked within 3-4 days and is a daily staple to my regiment.

For once I don’t look like I have allergies or someone punched me in the eye due to redness. I have dry/oily/blackhead prone skin and this doesn’t cause and undue pain. Also, A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY.

Please read that twice. Pros: Tightens/Smoothes Skin Reduces Pore Size Helps reduce amount of blackheads (but doesn’t prevent them) Cons: Bottle is finicky when near the end of it Not the best when just used alone (use as a combo) Overall: I recommend it but definitely try the Dr.

Jart’s Tigergrass Camo Drops mixed with it!.

I rarely repurchase thing because I am always getting things in subscription boxes and usually don’t see much difference between products. This serum is different. It is so good that I am on my third bottle.

I have hormonal acne and this helps keep my skin as clear as possible. While I still have some breakouts related to hormonal changes, this has significantly reduced the severity. I notice when I run out that my skin isn’t as nice and my breakouts are more severe.

I would highly recommend. My pores look reduced as well. Would definitely recommend.

While I value reviews tremendously, I haven’t written one in years. Enter this serum. I’m 32 and I’ve been self-conscious about my pores for a while. I’ve tried half a dozen serums and masks and nothing really did much.

When I first started using this product nightly, I didn’t expect too much, but thought it was worth a shot. Cut to just three days later and my pores were smaller than they had been in years and years.

I’m blown away by the results of this serum. HG doesn’t do it justice. Seriously, this is the serum to get if you’re worried about the size of your pores.

My son has very sensitive skin and was prone to acne, but most acne medications dried his skin up way to much. I always use witch Hazel after cleansing my face, to remove any left over residue. So I thought, hmmm I wonder if it would help him? So to make it easier and less “girl product”, I bought a screw top reusable plastic container (the one in the photo is by Ziploc) and loaded it with a package of cotton rounds.

If you notice in the photo, I separated them and then arranged them slightly overlapping each one. This helps to remove one each time. I then liberally pour the witch Hazel onto the pads. As they soak up the liquid, you can usually get the rest of the single sleeve in there.

Make sure they are soaked through. But not leaving a puddle in the bottom of the container. Now they are great cleansing pads, but without the salicylic or benzoyl acids, that dry out the skin. The witch Hazel pads remove any left over soaps or cleansers, excess oil from sweating etc, and really do help your skin at the same time.

My son can now quickly use these pads in the morning before school, after school and before bed without his skin drying, and now his skin looks and feels great.

I’ve heard so much about this Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner so of course I had to try it out! I’ve been using this tone for a little over 2 weeks now and I must say it has become my favorite! It gently cleanses, conditions and refines your pores.

I love that it cleanses your skin so well without over drying it like a lot of toners usually do. This toner is fragrance free and made up of 100% Natural Distilled Witch Hazel. This 100% natural toner is free of dyes, parabens, sulfates, phthalates and gluten.

Dickinson’s Original Witch Hazel Pore Perfecting Toner has been apart of their pure skincare promise since 1866 and definitely keeps a name for itself! I absolutely love using this product and more so because they never test on animals which is a plus to me! If you haven’t tried this product before I highly recommend it.

This toner is made for all skin types and can be used on your eye area once placed on a cotton pad to refresh the eyes once they are closed. This is one of my staple toners that I use on my facial clients through out the treatment.

I have used both alcohol free and regular with another brand that had herbs or fragrance added to it. The alcohol used is pure grain alcohol which doesn’t overly dry the skin meaning by chemical means like rubbing alcohol.

Pure grain means drinking alcohol that is used as a solvent to extract the essence from the herb while soaking. Just like vanilla because there is no essential oil that can be distilled from it. This toner can be reapplied through out the day as well to refresh the skin.

Please follow the directions on the bottle and if spraying on the face keep your eyes closed while using product an arms length away from your face.

Just got word that no you’re discontinuing your Warming Anti-Blemish In-Shower Flash Treatment and I am absolutely beside myself!! Years ago, you changed the composition of the Pore Unclogging Scrub so I had to switch to the Warming one because it was the only one left with the same texture as the original Pore Unclogging Scrub.

The newer texture of the Pore Unclogging Scrub still remains absolute garbage and literally does NOTHING to help gently exfoliate the face like the Warming Anti-Blemish In-Shower Flash Treatment did.

You have other scrubs on the market that contain charcoal for exfoliation but they are all too rough for my sensitive skin. The Warming Anti-Blemish In-Shower Flash Treatment was the happy medium between the current Pore Unclogging Scrub and the abrasive others.

PLEASE BRING BACK THE Warming Anti-Blemish In-Shower Flash Treatment or at least release a product with its same composition!!!!.

I don’t normally use products with added fragrance in them in my face, however, I live Down South, and where I stay it is hot and humid here almost all year round. I bought this cleanser to use periodically during the Spring and Summer Seasons.

What actually drove me to purchase it was seeing that Taraji P. Henson actually uses this to cleanse her face with. And, her complexion both with and without makeup is truly stunning beyond belief. Now, even though I have very sensitive, dry/very dry, acne prone skin, plus I am an eczema sufferer, I already knew before I bought this facial cleanser that Taraji’s skin may be able to handle this cleanser in a daily basis, but that mines definitely can’t.

Plus, I am a Retin A (tretinoin) user, so I will only use this cleanser on a limited basis. Yes, this cleanser is drying to my face, however, I currently use barrier repair products that I rotate between on my face.

The most universal barrier repair cream that I recommend to all skintypes is Etude House’s A2x Barrier Intensive Repair Cream. Yes, this cleanser is formulated for oily skin, but my skin is most prone to getting a number of pimples show up when the Spring weather approaches all the way through Summer and even sometimes beyond that, even though I am currently on Retin A.

This cleanser from what I have seen didn’t use to have salicylic acid in it, but the big bottle I bought of it does actually have a percentage if it in there, so there definitely has been an ingredient change that’s taken place with this stuff for sure.

This cleansing deeply cleans and purifier my pore, however, it isn’t a product that I choose to use on a regular basis, because there is a level of harshness to it, along with it having salicylic acid in it and fragrance too, which while being on Retin A is super risky.

So. even though some people may be able to use this product perfectly 2x a day everyday, I always recommend listening to your skin and understanding just how much it can actually take and to always have good barrier repair product on hand, especially if you have very sensitive/ sensitive skin.

Now, I do own the acne control version as well. I decided to pick that up too, because I was curious about both formulas, and that one is a bit more drying than this one, but they both relatively work the same at deeply cleansing ones skin and purifying ones pores and helping to keep ones face from looking greasy in warm weather.

Spring is almost here where I live at and it has been around 80 degrees as a high almost daily now, with the humidity steadily rising, so even though my skin is still dry, I do have to deal with sweating issues, which can most certainly contribute to the formation of acne.

So, I think that you can’t go wrong with either unless there are ingredients in either product that you already are allergic to or would just rather refrain from using altogether. And, yes, with the menthol inside, it will give off afoo g sensation to the skin when applied, but it should never be an intense burning feeling that you should ordinarily feel with this product.

If so, then what you are dealing with is an allergic reaction. Oh, and for the sake of your skin, I don’t recommend anyone using this cleanser or the scrub version on their face for longer than 60 seconds, no matter what the co diction of your skin is, even if it’s relatively on the normal side.

Oh, and if you happen to be on any prescription acne medication, especially Retin A, please use this on the days and/or nights when you do not plan on applying Retin A onto your face. I do happen to go days in between applying Retin A to my face, as I have learned that applying harsh prescription acne meds to my face everyday, dries and super irritates my face and causes lots of inflammation, terrible stinging and redness to my face.

It’s all about understanding just how much your face can truly take at any given time. Any skintype can most definitely be acne prone. And, even though I know a product can be recommended for use on oily or oily, acne prone skin, it most surely doesn’t mean that it can’t be tried by individuals with other skintypes.

Now, if you do happen to use this product and experience an immediate reaction, please stop use of it immediately, switch to a more soothing cleanser instead and you can use Benadryl cream to help clear things up on your face and/or neck, okay.

I swear by this stuff. I use it everyday because it really helps cut down on my acne. Great for melanated skin. If you have sensitive skin, don’t rub it in too hard or the texture could be a bit abrasive.

Is very mild and great for picky/allergy prone skin that doesn’t react well to different products. Doesn’t necessarily super-hydrate, but it doesn’t dry your skin out at all. It has the softest scent that you only notice when putting it on.

The scent is pleasant, but it doesn’t last longer than a few seconds.

I’ve been using herbivore products since they were just an etsy shop, and at this point they’re the only skin products I use. I’ve been using the lapis oil for years, and although its no magic bullet (I still get break outs/uneven skin texture), my skin is definitely better when I use it and worse when I don’t.

I was intrigued by aquarius because it uses some of the same ingredients as lapis, but I also felt like lapis was doing a decent enough job keeping me hydrated. Still, the black friday sale was too tempting to pass up.

I like aquarius. I’ve tried using it instead of lapis, and I’ve tried mixing them together. Honestly, I can’t say that my skin has noticeably improved, but it seems like a good way to get more mileage out of the (more pricy) lapis oil.

A little cream goes a long way, and adding just one or two drops of lapis makes it easier to spread and easier to absorb. It’s not a miracle worker, but it’s a more cost effective way to get the same or better level of moisturizing as just using the oil.

This is an incredible face cream! I decided to give it a try because I love Herbivore’s vegan hyaluronic acid line (Cloud Jelly serum and Pink Cloud moisturizer). I use the Cloud Jelly & Pink Cloud at night, followed by a lighter moisturizer during the day.

I ran out of the daytime moisturizer and needed a replacement fast, so I ordered Aquarius via Sephora’s same-day delivery service. This is the first and only truly mattifying moisturizer I’ve ever used.

I have reactive, red, skin and when my skin is in crisis, it overproduces oil. The Aquarius moisturizer is moisturizing and mattifying. This mattifys without overdrying my skin- when I’ve used other mattifying moisturizers in the past, my skin has felt tight, dry, and uncomfortable.

But not with this one! It is even gentle enough for my sensitive skin. I am not surprised though- another big win for Herbivore! I highly recommend this product!!.

This is a dream for combination skin. I have been trying it during the day for a few weeks, and it indeed leaves a soft matte finish and helps keep oil at bay throughout the day. But it also makes the skin very soft and keeps the dry parts moisturized.

I find the BHA is just the right amount – enough that I have been noticing a difference in my skin’s texture but not enough to irritate (many BHA products are just too strong for me to use regularly).

The only thing I don’t love is the packaging, I find the jar a bit awkward. It looks very pretty but I’d prefer a pump or tube. However, I can live with the packaging for such a great moisturizer! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a mattifying, yet moisturizing cream.

Now, if they could miraculously also make an SPF version so we could kill two birds with one stone, I would personally make a donation to Herbivore to make it happen!.

I bought this with high hopes that it could shrink my pores, and I am amazed that it has! I apply this every morning before my moisturizer and after 3 days I started to notice the pores around my nose and between my eyes appearing smaller.

It has a thicker consistency but it isn’t sticky and absorbs quickly. I like how the glass dropper is angled so I have control over where I am applying it. I feel that exfoliating often and using this product together is why I have had great results.

This is the first serum that claims to shrink pores, that actually works. I did stop using it for a week (forgot to take it on vacation) and I noticed my pores not looking so hot so it’s a product that needs to be continually used for results, however this bottle is lasting me a very long time.

I highly recommend if you are having issues with larger pores. I really want to try other Dr. Dennis Gross skincare items.

My skin was really congested because of post pregnancy hormones, and the pores around my cheeks were huge! Within three days my skin was more even, pores appeared smaller and I had significantly less blackheads and whiteheads.

I pair it with the super quench moisturizer and it didn’t dry out my skin. Be sure to use it on alternating nights as retinol, or different times of day.

I like the consistency of this product. It doesn’t burn or sting and it isn’t sticky. I haven’t seen any mind-blowing results yet, and for the price I did expect a little better, but I am sticking with it to see how it works long term.

I like that the scent is light and that it is thin and watery, so it is easy to layer with other products. It isn’t drying so far.

I have very large pores around my nose and was hoping this serum would help minimize their appearance but no luck. Unfortunately for me everytime I use it the surface of my skin develops these awful scales and it makes matters worse.

Three stars because there was no lasting damage and I think it might work well for some, it was just a miss for me.

I love Hyram and his skincare mission to educate others. My skin has truly become so much healthier because of his reviews and translation of ingredients in skincare formulas. I was excited to try his products, but was skeptical.

Sometimes gurus release products that just miss the mark. HYRAM DID NOT MISS A BEAT!!!! Literally this serum and the retinol with the cleanser has made my skin BRAND NEW. I look brighter, my skin texture is smoother, and SO CLEAR.

As a cis woman who’s struggled with acne since middle school, I have tried everything under the sun to get it under control. These products have honestly worked the best for my skin. I have combination skin with breakouts and dry patches.

I use the gel cleanser, salicylic acid serum, the retinol serum, hyaluronic acid, cetaphil moisturizer, and sunscreen.

I like the product itself. Feel the packaging has lost enough stars from other reviews it’s redundant. However it is true immediately had part of the top break off. The cap looked pre-broken when I received it.

I store it right side up just in case. So far it’s not much of an issue. Could see why a deduction of stars have been made with other reviews. Cap is very flimsy. The cleanser doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin even takes off most of my makeup without being greasy or having to double cleansing.

I will probably buy it again when I run out unless I find something else I like better. In the meantime I would recommend. Sure it’s a bit of a risk with the packaging all in all mine didn’t leak or anything.

Depends how much cheap packaging or cap breaking bothers you. If that’s a deal breaker don’t get it.

I have cystic acne with Doc prescribed pimple cream and pills. With the constant friction and moisture from face masks my face was mad at me and nothing was helping. Not even the powerful Rx! I figured why not give this stuff a try, it’s a good price to at least see.

Within a week all the little pimples around my mouth, nose, chin, and cheeks were getting smaller. Within 2 weeks I was finally getting my skin back!! I thought it was a lost cause since face masks seem to be around for the long haul.

I really like that it’s a gel cream, which means it spreads far and you don’t need much. It doesn’t dry my skin out so I’m able to use it 2 times a day. It does stay tacky, but working from home I don’t wear make-up much anymore so I can let the tackiness dry down as long as it needs.

I haven’t had severe breakouts since I was a teenager up until the last couple months, suddenly my my lower jaw and neck were breaking out uncontrollably and very painfully. I’ve tried so many things and everything I tried just seemed to make it worse.

I’m not sure exactly what compelled me to give this a try but after not even a week of using this I am blown away by the improvement in my skin!!! The bumps are reduced, no longer super sensitive and painful and clearing quickly.

It feels so soothing with the centella extract and absorbs well into my skin. My skin is feeling softer, more comfortable, less red and as stated the breakouts are on their way out! I only use this in the PM and couldn’t be happier with how this stuff performs.

Will be buying 2 backups at least!.

This stuff just works with my skin. I have combo oily skin, and previously was using the Neutrogena spot treatment. Although it worked on reducing blemishes, it would always dry out that particular spot.

Not with the Good Molecules BHA Clarify Gel Cream. It’s so light and weightless. It doesn’t burn as much as the Neutrogena one, which would make me tear up sometimes, lol. I can’t rave enough about it.

I’m about to buy like 4 of them to make sure I don’t run out, because with my PCOS I haven’t been able to get my acme under control. This cream makes breakouts close to disappear within 24 hours most of the time without drying my skin.

I’ve been using this for serval weeks now & the results from using just this one product & my regular moisturizer has been amazing. I was skeptical at first because I’ve never had good reactions to vitamin c serums in the past but decided to give this a solid try anyway.

To give this product the ultimate test I decided to cut out everything in my skincare routine except for this serum, my cleanser & moisturizer to see what the results what be. OMG!! For reference I have (or had;) sensitive oily combo skin with extremely large pores around my t zone that would turn into an oil slick after applying any skincare or makeup products.

After using this product for nearly a month, my pores went from HUGE craters to being normal, barely noticeable & my oiliness is almost completely gone even after applying makeup!! I am soo beyond trilled at the results and will be buying this from now on! I never want to run out, ever! It makes my skin look flawless even with no makeup on, plus my makeup apply’s more evenly & looks flawless.

No more filters needed on my pics 😍😁 My skin is overall brighter, smoother, my fine lines are nearly obsolete & my pores look amazing! My only complaint is the smell is kinda off putting, not sure what it is but it’s not a pleasant smell.

It isn’t so bad that I wouldn’t use it or buy it again & it fades quickly, but it definitely has a unique (not in a good way) smell. For me this is no longer an issue since I’ve been sick with C***d for the last 2 weeks & have lost my sense of smell :/ And while a minor complaint, I don’t like how the directions say to use “4-5 drops” but it has a pump dispenser which makes it very hard to dispense just 4-5 tiny drops so I’ve been using about 1.

5 – 2 pumps which for me is my golden number, any less & it’s not enough for my whole face, anymore & it leaves my face too sticky. So you’ll have to play around to find the right amount for you, just don’t use too much because your face will be SUPER sticky.

I find that as long as I use the correct amount the stickiness goes away once I apply my moisturizer. Overall, I give this product a 10/10 & would definitely HIGHLY recommend to everyone!!.

As a person working in beauty, I’m pleasantly surprised with the potency! I love this serum! It reminds me a bit of CE Ferulic from Skinceuticals, just way cheaper lol. People are complaining it’s watery but what they don’t realize is that silicones and fillers in other products makes serums hydrating or thicker in texture, those things actually lower the effectiveness in vitamin c but this product doesn’t have those ingredients inside.

I literally see a difference in my skin in one use. It’s definitely an active vitamin c, it stings a bit, not unbearable though. I see a difference in hyperpigmentation if I use after I exfoliate at night and use spf during the day (spf is non-negotiable if you want to get rid of dark spots).

Really a game changer, I’ll be purchasing once I run out! Happy my friend gifted this to me!.

I don’t quite understand the “waste of money” reviews, but everyone’s skin acts and reacts differently is all I can conclude on that. As for me? I’m only three regimens in (coupling it with the gel lotion recommended in the details) and my face feels so smooth whereas before it was “textured”.

I haven’t noticed that much of a difference with my pores, and I have LARGE ones, but I noticed -some- difference and that’s enough for me. I think the key to using this serum is “patting it in” rather than rubbing it in, which is noted in the ‘how to use’ instructions.

But I can run a hand over my cheeks and there’s only smoothness on the surface each morning when, before finding this, felt like a rough road. I’ve never had an acne issue so I can’t attest to that, but it hasn’t given me any either.

Woulda rated this 5 stars however I’ll give it a month to see if it does the job with the pores like I hope it’s going to because I just love love love how it makes my face feel. My complexion, often red and uneven, has gotten incredibly better as well.

Long review but if you are interested in learning my experience with the cleaning portion of Peach&Lily stick around!!! I was really excited to use this and it let me down. First off let me explain I was only wearing La roche Posey Tinted Sunscreen, NARS Powder Blush, Essence Powder Highlighter, Benefit Mascara (NOT waterproof), and ABH Brow Gel.

The moment I put the cleansing oil on my face I knew it wasn’t going to do well picking up makeup. I used 2-3pumps (I feel that was a fair amount) Then I followed up with their gel cleanser. At that point I STILL felt there was residue.

After that I applied the toner, still getting something. Followed up with essence. After using the essence, I could still see black fibers on the cotton pad. At that point I began contemplating if I should return the produces or keep them.

After all, I snagged a few products during their 5x points promo and it was my Bday month so there is close to 3k of point on the line. Either way, I was influenced and will be posting for people who are in between and want to know cons/truth before dropping $40+ on a “cleansing oil” that DOES NOT cleanse lol As for the toner it’s doesn’t smell and you won’t waste product because it’s so hard to get out of the bottle.

Not only is the packaging beautiful with its frosting glass bottle, but the actual color of the toner completed the “fancy” look, reminds me of a blue lagoon lol. But outer beauty only goes so far right? Yes I was disappointed but mostly heartbroken.

First let down was getting it open. was not budging under my hands so eventually I gave up and handed it to my boyfriend Haha not only are his hands bigger and stronger than mine but definitely calloused so it shocked me when he eventually had to used a DAMN WRENCH to pry if open 🤣 which scraped the cap and ruined any kind of photo OP.

again my heart wept lol As far as the toner itself. another fail for me 🙁 for the hefty price tag not only was the amount minimal but not much effectiveness either. I was a beginner with exfoliating acids so I purchased this gentle one as not to irritate my sensitive, picky skin.

Basically did nothing for me. Absolutely tragic lol💔💔.

For months, I’ve been using the whole Glass Skin product series, and it’s been wonderful! My skin looked incredible—until I started using the Good Acids Toner. I know there’s often a purging period with retinoids, but it wasn’t just small bumps.

This was extreme: a high number of persistent cystic acne around my chin and nose for 6 weeks. Now, there’s red and purple scarring and textured scarring too. I know that 8 weeks is generally the total purging period, but the cysts aren’t stopping.

I also checked the ingredients on COSDNA, and only one ingredients (Corallina Officials extract) was even halfway comedogenic. I don’t know what the issue was. I’m disappointed and upset that all the good progress I’ve had is now destroyed AND there’s now a ton of horrible scarring and damage.

It’ll take forever to get back to where I was. 🙁 Sometimes, it’s just the luck of the draw, skin-wise, but I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on this. Would not recommend.

I absolutely love this product. I use it every morning and every night before bed. I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin. I struggle from hormonal acne as well as combination skin depending on the time of year.

This stuff was really helpful in minimizing my pores and drying my skin out just enough for it to work well for both my acne and still ensure I don’t get too dried out. My only complaint is the new packaging… the old bottle was SO MUCH BETTER.

This new bottle pumps out WAY too much product – much more than you need so it’s almost like they want us to waste it/finish it off earlier so we can go ahead and buy another bottle. Other than that, that’s my only complaint.

It’s a bit pricey but I wouldn’t be able to live without it. And plus is if you use it properly then it should last you several months – I’ve only had to purchase about 2 bottles in the last 10 months so not too bad.

So I recently decided to make the switch to clean beauty products and naturally, Kiehl’s was the first brand that came to mind. I decided to try this face mask which was the same size as the one I was using before, similar ingredients, but the Kiehl’s one is twice the price.

I was definitely not feeling fantastic about the purchase initially but I liked the loyalty program so I figured it was worth the try. Holy crap. First of all, it’s lasting far longer than the one that was half the price so in the long run, the Kiehl’s is actually a better bang for my buck.

And more importantly, it works! As a licensed esthetician let me clarify what that means. It can get rid of small blackheads and help reduce the size of larger ones, but don’t expect miracles. It most definitely reduces pore size though! It also seems to make my skin less red which I greatly appreciate!.

I used to struggle with acne until I started using Clean Clear facial cleansers. I started out with a cream one I bought at Ross, but I believe it was discontinued so I switched to the Daily Pore Cleanser and it hasn’t let me down.

The micro-scrubbers are my favorite thing about this product and it really does leave my skin feeling soft and smooth. A little goes a long way with this Daily Pore Cleanser, so it should last a pretty good while.

The only minor downside I’ve experienced is upon the last few uses it tends to be thicker and feels a little “tacky†when squeezed out…but after applying and washing off there’s no problem at all.

Still worth the purchase!.

I am so glad I found this product. I have very sensitive skin and a lot of face washes make my skin dry and red. This product is very soft on the skin with exfoliating beads to help with a deeper clean.

Love the smell. Very subtle fragrance, clean and fresh. Only need a small amount to wash your whole face. You can also pick this product up pretty much anywhere and it is affordable. 10/10 recommend.

Honestly, if I could give it zero stars I would. This was a product that I used for almost two decades, for the last 3yrs I have not been able to use it because of this new formula. Every single time I use it now my forehead gets extremely irritated.

I get a huge red mark for two or three days that it is incredibly itchy and at times painful. for the longest time now I have been looking for a replacement with no luck. This was a product that my sister used and I followed in her footsteps, for me this product definitely helped prevent breakouts, made my skin bright and soft, nothing compares to the old formula.

Why change something if it wasn’t broken? Please bring back the old formula.

Neutrogena has done it again! They have made another amazing product! This pore refiner feels light on my skin and really gets the job done! It comes in a simple little bottle with a modernized look.

I love how it makes my skin feel rejuvenated and hydrated after using it without feeling oily or burning my skin. If you have sensiskin and looking for a pore refiner I would highly recommend getting Neutrogena pore refining moisturizer.

My only complaint is that it is a little pricey but not too bad and that this might not work on older women’s faces.

I really like this. I’ve bought it a couple times. It surprisingly works well. It firms up my skin and makes it not as oily. I do feel like it helps my pores be less visible. Sometimes I use it for day because the results are visible, but it’s probably better for night since it does not have any SPF.

I just usually just use a powder SPF on top – supergoop’s in particular. I would continue buying this. I don’t use it every single day.

I’ve only been using this product for about 3 weeks now. It does help a little but I am still looking for a product that will make my pores less visible. I am 45 years old and for the most part have clear skin but I do have very large pores on my nose and face.

Overall this product is great for younger women. I tried it on my 21 year old daughter’s face and it made a big difference on her face and really did minimize her pores drastically. For someone her age, I would give it 5 stars.
