20 Best Skid Steer Rock Bucket (2023 Updated)

Using this on a Kioti 35. Works great. Using to separate rock from loose dirt. It also works really well for composting manure. Higher quality and more robust designed bucket than others I looked at.

I was a little nervous about ordering on line, but delivery was quick, and I live off the beaten path! I recommend this bucket.

This bucket is well built, and works great. The only thing I would change is to place a tooth on every other gap in the front, instead of every third as it is built now.

Got it today, couldn’t wait to use it. Hooked up perfectly to my Kubota L3800 Quick Attach. For my purposes, glad I bought the 60″ and not the 72″ as my friends suggested. On my tractor the bucket extends approx 3-4″ beyond the front wheels.

I didn’t need the extra width and with the added 100+ pounds, I don’t think my tractor would perform properly. First use, I’m totally satisfied. It’s not something I will use all the time, but I’m a “gaggit guy” and played with Tonka Toys as a kid.

This bucket will save me from jumping on and off the tractor, will save my back and is fun to use. I’m retired and this is an addition to my big “Tonka Toys” Superior construction and quality. I strongly recommend this item if it works for you! Will upload pictures when I can figure it out.

The shipping took forever, I had to hold the carriers hand until it finally arrived. Hydraulic hose broke after 4 hours of use. Went to 2 different Hydraulic hose companies, no one has these Chinese fittings.

Ordered 2 new hoses from Titan and still have not received them after 13 days, ended up renting a grapple locally to finish the job. I regret ever purchasing from them. I have a brand new grapple sitting in the field, completely useless.

I had a chance to get the hoses hooked up. I used the grapple to pick up some beach ball size rocks. I would get the rocks in the bucket put the grapple tips down. I noticed if the grapple tips are open all the way they will not go closed until you tip the bucket forward past the flat position.

I am not sure why it works like that. I also noticed only 1 grapple tip will go down than the other will closed. This also happens when I open them.

This unit is well constructed and works perfectly. However, I should have attached to my new Kubota and SLOWLY checked all clearance issues. Any new equipment like this will need to be “tuned” to fit your machine.

My Kubota SVL65 track steer had interference between the left grapple and the Kubota hydraulic supply manifold on left arm. I changed the hose ends to 90° elbows. I will add cylinder stops to restrict the full retraction of the left grapple.

And I will add a wooden stop-block to the grapple cylinder protector keep the cylinder cover from hitting the Kubota cylinder protector. This all could have been avoided if the LEFT grapple cylinder and its attendant mounting hardware was moved to the right 3 inches.

This would not diminish the grapple effectiveness at all. The hose 90° elbows would still be needed, however. Finally, I would put on a hose hanger on the left side of the bucket, the same that Titan makes for other units.

I am gong to try to purchase this from Titan next. Remember, these modifica.

Things I like: Heavy steel, well constructed Better price than others Things I dont like: Cant see the teeth and edge of bucket from the cab because the back is too high or the bucket isnt deep enough.

Mine moves a lot on the machine at the bobtach bottom connection. Dirt bucket from different manufacturer locks in tight with no movement. Im looking to figurec out how i fix this (over a yr since purchase).

Prices are great, just wary now about Bobcat fit.

Bucket beat my expectations I would recommend this attachment to anyone breaking up hard ground with caliche rock. I’m in southern New Mexico mountains and this has saved me a lot of time. Very strong build with a lot of reinforcement bracing.

To me, this bucket is the best I can grade and cut up to five inches with no problem I recommend it

Bucket is built very well, edge is excellent. Only complaint is the fit, it’s very loose, the holes the locking pins drop into are way too oversized. The bucket slaps around way too much for my liking, I will have to have smaller steel guide holes welded on top of where the holes are on the backing plate as to save the locking pins from the excess wear of the bucket slapping around against them.

This is my second attachment order from Titan, both 5 stars. The bucket fit perfect. I drove my DINGO 323 up to it for the first time and it latched perfectly into place. Also, FedX put this bucket under my carport within 36 hours of placing the order! Hard to beat that.

Great bucket. seems very strong. We use it in our supply yard. perfect for loading pickups. A level scoop is right around 1000 pound depending on which material and looks to be half yard for mulches.

so its easy measuring. very pleased !.

I agree with the discription that this bucket is probably to thin for a skid steer. I purchased it for a 77hp tractor. I thought it fit thier discription very well. Even though it is 1/8 material its sides and bottom are reinforced with 1/2 steel.

Also it has a healthy cutting edge. I feel it was worth the money i paid for it. Free shipping is awesome. Delivered right to my garage door, in a nice angle iron cage.

Was an equipment dealer years ago so very leery about buying a piece of equipment online. Had looked at equipment dealers grapple around my area but all were expenses and weak looking. While trying to find something different online came across Titan.

Figured It was cheap shoddy build and there would be extra fees to get it delivered but the picture looked good and could not believe the price. However, was surprised when it was delivered within a week and no extra freight charges.

While lifting it off the it seemed heavy. Upon inspection very pleased, well built, sturdy and fits on perfectly to the LX 865. Anyone looking to buy Titan equipment would not be a mistake.

For the price, no regrets. This is the first stump bucket I’ve used, so I can’t really make a comparison. I have a Kubota B2301 Cons first – The point on the bucket makes it difficult to push on smaller diameter trees, it tends to slide off unless you’re perfectly straight to the tree and the tree doesn’t shift to the side.

The point probably makes it dig easier than teeth, but if it had a short serrated edge it’d be a lot better in both categories I’d think. – As with a lot of tractor FEL attachments, visibility is terrible.

Can’t see where the tip is, hard to determine what angle you’re coming in at, though you will get a feel for it. Considering this bucket isn’t exactly designed to haul efficiently, I’d love to see a couple slots/holes in the back panel so you could peek through.

– The bucket is mounted kinda high on the frame, I find myself digging in / dragging the bottom of the FEL bracket when trying to work at shallow angles or coming up out of the ground. The bucket is pretty long, especially for a sub-compact or smaller compact.

I think you’d get a lot more power out of it if it were 6-8″ shorter. But It’s great for breaking up ground, even digging trenches. I’ll use it to loosen the ground before going through and stripping it with a normal bucket or pulling material out with a back blade.

If you think of it as a power shovel, you’ll figure out a whole lot more applications for it than just digging up stumps.

The order process went well. Small hiccup with FedEx on delivery but not terrible. I went ahead and picked it up at the local FedEx yard. It fit exactly as expected to my Kubota L3560. I put it to work at my property where we are building a new house.

I removed at least 15 stumps. Over all I’m happy with my purchase. Early on using the attachment the nose ‘tab’ bent 90 degrees straight down on the bucket. I would say that piece needs a little further thought as to it’s purpose.

I got it red hot attempting to straighten it back out but just didn’t go back where it was. I ended up cutting it off leaving about 2″ rounded at the leading edge. I feel it worked just as well. I get what they were trying to do it’s just not robust enough in its current design.

The balance of the attachment is well built. 15+ stumps removed all else held up just fine. Bottom line, for the money I spent I’m good with my purchase.

I have a small lx2610 compact tractor. This worked well for trenching 2 100’ power cables runs from our power pole to new house and shop. Couldn’t get the full depth of the bucket due to leverage with our clay and rock ground but it got me down the 18-24” depth needed and saved me the $1600 the following tractor was going to charge for trenching and I have a forever attachment for future needs – we plan to use to dig holes for planting trees with it and a water line trench to our animal barn in the future with it.

Excellent tool that does a great job making the holes needed and much more targeted than trying to use a 60” bucket to do it.

I have this implement on a compact tractor. Works like it should. Looked at alot of grapplers for a compact tractor, for me this was the strongest at a reasonable price. TITAN very easy to work with for purchase and delivery.

Construction, fit, and finish are very good. It fits my 773 Bobcat well. It is big and strong enough for any job. However, fins are 3 inches apart and that allows for rocks to fall through that are too big to be left in the final.

Would prefer 2″ spacing. Also, there is one step ( foot grip) in the center. Some type of grip surface all the way across or on the sides would be more usable and offer safer entry into the machine.

The bucket worked well after I spent several hours building a set of shims to close the gap in the SSQA. The bottom brackets are welded 3/16 to a 1/4 inch too low and allowed the bucket to pop off of the mount the first time I shook it bending my quick attach ear on the tractor in the process.

After bending the SSQA back into shape and fabricating some shims and attaching them to take up the slack it worked as intended. Other than the spacing the bucket seems to be well made though.

My 5th attachment from titan. We’re clearing g 6 acres after the creek fire destroyed our place near Shaver lake ca. Lots of small debris from the fire to clean up. This tool is amazing. Heavy duty and well designed.

Has made an impossible job much easier. Very impressed.

The front grapple pins are held with clips. Pushing into brush for removal also pulls the clips out for good. I stopped trying to replace tge clios after awhile and installed cotter keys. No problems.

Surprised at no grease points. Unit works well as a grapple for loose logs and stacked brush. Happy with it.

Still pretty new to me. Have used a couple of times. Moved a lot of timber and slash with it, which is the main reason I wanted it. Loving it so far. If it doesn’t fall apart in the next couple years (and I am not expecting it to), I would definitely view it as one of my best buys.

Also, double clam was definitely the right decision. Would recommend that for just about anybody.

Has worked very well. To have given a 5, the hydraulic hoses were too short and I needed different ends. It needs better clips on hinge bolts as come off and could use greaseable hinges where cylinder attaches to bucket.

One of the best FEL implements for land clearing EVER! For shoving logging debris (large and small) for the purpose of land clearing, this is THE best! We have a Kubota L4701 as well as a grapple, but this is the ticket.

First, built so incredibly solid. As such, you are able to move very large piles relying on tractor hp and not just the 1739 lb lift capacity of FEL. MOST importantly, the spacing and design of the tines AND the fact there is a solid steel backing, your cowling and undercarriage are far better protected than with a grapple.

When clearing, my tires are mostly on clear dirt with the protection of this blade / rake. Low gear and you become the unopposable force. Price incredible and an incredible value.

This is a very useful tool, quite strong. I use it with both a 40 hp tractor and a 60HP tractor. Best use seems to be to put the rake on the 40 hp and a grapple on the 60 hp to work as a team to clear logging debris.

The storage support legs were broken off quickly despite careful use. Suggest Titan redesign them so they don’t snag so easily and that the user remove them during use.

This is a good concept, but not the best design. I used it on a job for a total of maybe 20 minutes and bent two of the bottom tines and both ends. Also broke one of the legs off that hold it up when not hooked to the skid steer.

I could have taken the legs off but did not think about needing to do this until it was broken. Seemed to be built pretty sturdy but did not hold up to the small roots I was dealing with. Going to see if I can make it stronger since I have already purchased it.

I’ve been using it for my landscape company for a few months now. Works really well. No issues. Well made and inexpensive. Paid for itself in about a day. Get it. I cut out a U shape in the metal that protects the hydraulic cylinders to access the grease port with out unscrewing them every time.

The bracket for the hose junction on the center of the bucket had to be cut off and moved it would hit my tilt cylinder. it digs well and spreads dirt well. the grapple is fair.

Great bucket, just needs to reweld the hydraulic hose connection to have an offset, so it does not hit the center cylinder on the Ditch Witch SK series.

I consider this a medium-duty bucket, consistent with the product description. The construction is fine, but the design is lacking. Purchased for finish grading and the issue is the bucket bottom needs to be longer, the front cutting edge is not visible when running the skid steer.

This makes the bucket nearly useless. It’s more of a heavy-duty tractor bucket. Wishing I purchased a different bucket.

This bucket holds a lot of dirt, and seems very well built. Purchased for a New Holland tc40 with a universal skid steer quick release attachment. Fits perfectly!

Loving the dump bucket. Works better than I thought it would!!! Only thing I would suggest is, it should say somewhere that it is a winch that operates it. Lucky I had 1 on my quad, but I kept wondering how it was going to work, but figured I would figure it out as I went along.

The business relationship with Neat Equipment has been nothing but great. The item ordered was exactly as advertised, was shipped and received in a most time manner. Installation went well, though some instructions of specifics of the install would have been helpful.

For example, what is the minimum distance the bottom of a tooth should slide up on a buckets knife edge? Should the knife edge be ground down or dressed before installation? My 520 bucket is old and not as handsome as it was when new.

In fact, the knife edge is not 100% straight anymore, so some creative thinking was needed to get the tooth slots up as far as they could go. Just so helpful feedback I hope. Ed.

Have a 1994 WH 520h with a good sized front loader and is all that a man can need in a little tractor. I had ordered this bolt on Tooth Bar to give this small tractor some biting power knowing that I had some fabrication to perform for sure.

NOT THE CASE. this Tooth Bar bolted right on as if it was a custom built piece. Extra heavy duty for sure! I would say over-done in “duty-rating”, far exceeds the steel thickness of most front loaders I know of.

I have 3 of these that are about 10 yrs old and still going strong with heavy use. Over the years I’ve bought Little Giant brand ones not really paying attention to brand or quality but almost all of the LG brand ones have cracked near the handles in just a couple years.

I just bought 8 Fortiflex brand ones to replace my broken ones and will only buy this brand for now on. Side by side the better quality of the Fortiflex is undeniable.

When we moved 12 years ago, I bought all new Fortiflex buckets. They are still in great shape. They are thick and sturdy. After being in the Texas sun all this time, even the handles are still in tact.

We are moving and decided to purchase new fortified buckets for water and use the old ones for muck. The new ones arrived quickly. They are the same thick sturdy construction as our old ones. Great product.

I use these buckets to store prepared garden mixes for my nursery. I make batches of mix in a cement mixer and these buckets are a great size match, each holding one batch. I can stack them on top of each other and I use a muck bucket cart to haul them to where I’m potting up plants.

The heavy duty handle is nice. Having the full variety of color choices is nice too.

Broke the hydraulics bracket first time I used it had to cut off and re-weld in a proper location

I broke the weld on the first bucket by getting overly enthusiastic trying to pull a fresh cedar stump. I’ve pull dozens of old stumps just by sticking the bucket under the back side of the stump and rotating the bucket.

Not this one. The back end of the digger came off the ground and if I had quit then all would have been ok but I reset and had another go at it. That’s when I popped the weld. O I ordered it from my phone/web site and it was delivered in about a week.

All round the backhoe has been one of the better buys I’ve made for my house project. I figure anything that keeps me off a shovel handle in our rocky New Mexico dirt pays for itself pretty quick.

Digging up stumps has been a nightmare with this machine. First the outrigger box busted off. Now the whole tooth edge has broken off. Neither time was a weld failure. Good on simple trenching clear open ground.

all i have done with this digger is dig drainage ditches. so far i have broke two of the three teeth off bucket. pealed the face of the bucket twice. replaced two of the cylinders. one cylinder shaft bent.

one the end of the shaft broke off. replaced the hudrolic pump. replaced the valve control. replaced all the inner shaft seals at least once. it work grate when its working. i would be stuck if i couldn’t repair it myself.

its worth the money just anoying from time to time.
