We tried Mint because we were tired of our major cell phone company (begins with an A and ends with two Ts). MINT WAS SO EASY! And we tested the phone lines for clarity and internet speeds. There was no difference between Mint and our (now former) carrier.

Switching fully over to Mint using the trial SIM cards was easy and our phone numbers ported over in less than 30 minutes. I’m SO HAPPY!!! Dealing with the other company was a nightmare. Mint is a much needed and refreshing change for us!.

An update on their original offering, this SIM card from Mint can not only be used for the advertised 7-day trial and/or full new activation, but their limits on the trial have gone UP recently! During the 7-day trial, it used to be 100 units of everything, (call, SMS, 100MB data) but now, after testing it, I found that it has become 250 units of everything! That means: 250 call minutes 250 texts/SMS 250MB of Data usage As such, this is more than just a SIM card for testing; I find it quite useful as a replaceable microchip to create an instant burner phone– one might call this a “burn-SIM” So now it can be used as an easy temporary cell service for personal/business and other needs.

Just slip it into your phone, download the app to activate (or pre-activate online) and you’re good to go! But there is one problem; their website’s account console is hopelessly flawed; if you try to re-activate or change your plan in way way, the site just gives you a big fat ERROR! Customer support is non-existent; they outsource people to automated text agents! I guess the only way to do anything is through the app on your phone– and that’s IF you haven’t accidentally let your plan lapse.

The sim worked as advertised. Easy and fast setup. Good way to explore Mint Mobile without making a long-term commitment. The call quality with this sim is outstanding (T-Mobile). Mint has very reasonable and flexible plan options should you desire to continue service.

The present promotion (buy 3 months/get 3 months) works great and is by far the best deal I’ve seen.

My experience was far different to my wife’s. I had no issues with all features of the SIM, some minor limited coverage in country areas around mid US. (Samsung Galaxy Note 8). BUT my wife could not use her phone at all expect for some limited data use and in the end she lost this as well.

She had a newer Samsung A32, and was completely unusable. They have issues with Samsung mobiles. Maybe I had no issues, because mine was older. Compatibility of Australian mobiles for US is pot luck.

Best Not to use if you have a Samsung!.

The card – unlimited talk & texts with 2 GB data – is reasonably priced. Since it uses T-mobile network, I have no doubts it will live up to expectations. The card expires 45 days from purchase date but I want a card with 1 year expiration.

Consequently, I have to return the card.

My wife and I were extremely happy with the SIMs supplied for our recent trip to the US. The coverage through LA and Orange County, New York, New Jersey and our drive from Hoboken NJ to Bar Harbour in Maine was generally very good.

A little patchy in some areas of the Maine coast as expected and outlined in the T Mobile network coverage.

Got it on sale. They priced matched Amazon. com and I already had a cricket phone so everything said and done with saving money buying this at best buy i was able to go home and activate it at my house saving me a decent amount of money having to go to cricket wireless.

As cricket wireless won’t sell you the sim card by itself unless your getting service and a phone and everything there. And doing it online saved me a ridiculous $25. 00 activation fee. So anyone who wants cricket wireless which uses AT&T towers, buy the sim here and activate at home online save your money.

Just choose and pay the plan and that’s it. Very easy and simple. All thanks to best buy and thanks to their price matching policy all saved me quite a bit of money. Thank you best buy.

I purchased 5 Cricket Wireless BYOD kits and moved/ported my whole family over. Since all five phones were in different locations (cities/states) at the time I had to get the sim kits to each person in advance.

I also took pictures of each sim kit (iccid number) and also had everyone text me there IMEI number (dial *#06#). I tried to go through the Cricket wireless website to activate but it was easier for me to just call Cricket at 855.

619. 6021. It took about 20 minutes to provide all the above information for each line plus my account info/pin code. I asked the Cricket rep if I could hold off activation until the last day of my current bill cycle and they said “no problem just call back when your ready”.

When I called back to officially activate it only took about 5 minutes max. I also gave my family plenty of warning about when they would need to power down and replace the current sim with the new Cricket Wireless sim.

I know that moving to a new service can be a pain but with a little planning, communication and this kit it was really simple! NOTE: Make sure all of your phones are paid-off and unlocked before you start this process; just check with your current provider.

This is third time we have had an issue activating a sim card with Best Buy. If you have to purchase a phone from Best Buy I would recommend purchasing a sim card somewhere else or directly from the carrier.

It is worth the extra trip to avoid the stress and headaches associated with activating a Sim Card from Best Buy. That being said the associate that resolved the issue did a great job, but for the sim card itself, zero stars.

Hello, I purchased this item and I have to say that the two previous reviews giving this product a poor review are completely wrong. First of all the package has a nano SIM card attached to a cardboard but if you look inside it also contains SIM card adapters in case your device fits a regular size sim or the micro size sim.

You should look inside your package to find these adapters. It is also stated in the direction to use the appropriate adapters to install your SIM card with pictures displayed on the starter guide. MetroPCS allows you to bring your own device (BYOD) and you can do so by calling their activation number or their number portability directly to do so without having to head to a store.

Now if there was a specific issue causing a person to go to the store to activate a device, let’s not forget that these are electronics and computers might fail. Unfortunately that could happen. But there is no way I would value the first review stating that the sim was too small and it forces you to go to the store to pay more in buying another one.

This is a fine working starter kit just as other carriers have nowadays. I would definitely suggest it to friends and family. Walmart has it available online or at specific stores for a bit less than the MetroPCS online website which sells at $10 with free shipping.

Now I am aware that the store itself sells their sim for much more. You be the judge! It worked for me.

I would have given a 5* but had a problem with delivery. I will add not Walmarts fault but problem yet the same. Had to pick-up at UPS location. Still it was worth it. First I went to a satellite location.

I found out this phone I purchased unlocked ATT galaxy s6 active needed a sim card. I was told sim card 20+ in price alone. To swap this phone with my LGMS323 phone and activate all together 40+ bucks.

So went to my trusty Walmart found this sim card 6. 10 after tax. Took 6 days to deliver. Called metro CS. I was up and rolling nothing extra in cost in 30 mins. Worth the wait.

For the price, you can’t really beat it. But before you buy, you should do a little bit of research. I bought in store when getting my husband a cheap-ish smart phone. I had actually meant to get a different prepaid plan, but store rep must have misunderstood me, which is understandable, because masks are hard to hear through clearly.

I hadn’t noticed the mix up until I got home. Husband didn’t care, so he applied it to the phone anyway. First thing is, before you buy, you should visit Mint Mobile’s website to see how well your phone will do with their network.

I think they run off of T-Mobile towers? How well you get service varies by phone and location. I checked my husband’s and it was “fair” while for my phone it was “good. ” Another thing to note is that you will probably be on a lower priority level since you are using T-Mobile towers, but not with T-Mobile.

So if you have a lower rating for your phone given by Mint, you will probably experience some frustration, especially with data. Second thing, the first 3 months is $60, so $20 per month for 10GB of data and unlimited calls and text.

But it doesn’t stay that way unless you buy 12 months at a time. Otherwise, after 3 months the price goes up. I don’t have all the details, but you can see on Mint Mobile’s website. My husband’s opinion on the service isn’t so great, but he usually complains about everything anyway lol.

I will say, that he has had issues sending out texts, but only when he has WiFi calling turned on. Probably a problem with which port the calls/text are being sent to in the router. I’m just guessing, but they may be getting assigned to the same port, so texting is unable to go through.

So I wouldn’t blame that part on the mobile network so much. I’m just putting this on here in case anyone else is confused why they can’t send a text message while wifi-calling is enabled, because it would be easy to assume that it’s the mobile network’s issue and overlook a routing issue at first glance.

Overall, Mint’s service is ok for the price, but I wish they would make it more obvious that you get the most savings during the first 3 months and if renewed for 12 whole months at a time. If you are someone that needs dependable service or are a heavy data user, I would not recommend Mint to you.

So yes, they have very cheap prepaid service, amazing customer service, and a great activation process which is very simple and straightforward. But there is definitely a catch, regardless of what their marketing says.

The catch is that Mint has the WORST coverage and data de-prioritization I have experienced on any carrier, even T-Mobiles own prepaid service and other T-Mobiles MVNOs. The map said that the entire area I’m in has both indoor & outdoor 4G LTE coverage, but that is not the case.

Tried several different LTE phones I had laying around, from a Droid 4 to a Moto X 2014 to an iPhone SE to an iPhone 5 to a Moto G7 to an Alcatel GoFlip, all of which were confirmed to be compatible, and NONE had consistent coverage anywhere near me up until I entered the bigger-city area 45 minutes away from me.

The map on the site claimed that I should’ve had coverage everywhere. Entered my exact address and everything and it claimed there was strong coverage but I never saw a single bar of signal and customer service told me to enable WiFi calling instead of addressing my complaint about their own map and representatives claiming that I should’ve had coverage even though I had to drive 20 miles north to get any signal.

So I mean, year, if you live in the middle of a big city, never plan on leaving the greater parts of your metro area and never plan on traveling, it’s great. Otherwise you’re out of luck.

I was gifted an old iPhone 6S Plus, So, I purchased this item online at Best Buy. I sked a store Pickup. Next day, in Best Buy Parking Lot Pick-Up booth. The item was ready. In and out in 3-minutes. Followed instructions in packaging.

Removed old SIM and replaced with Mint SIM. Activation was very easy. I opted for a new number. No Problem! Everything Worked just like normal iphone. Of course I burnt up my data allotment within an hour.

The phone worked for full Trial period. Mint Mobile service has been fantastic on an existing 1-year plan. So, I plan on activating this iPhone on a 1-year plan for my spouse.

I have used these SIM cards twice now. The first time I used the USA only one and most recently I used the USA and Canada one. The service transferred so easily between the two countries and I had service everywhere I went with high speed data.

The set up was so easy and the price is unbeatable. I will always be going back to Aidan and buying these SIM cards. Could not recommend enough.

I recently purchased the USA/Canada SimsDirect SIM card. I found it very easy to activate & use whilst overseas. I simply put it in my phone after I landed in America, turned the cellular data on & it worked.

I had good coverage in Orlando, Washington, New York & Toronto. The 3GB data was just enough to data to get me through 26 days of travel. We used the data for navigation, emails & transferring money onto credit cards etc.

The only way SimsDirect could improve their service would be to have cards with higher data amounts or unlimited data. Then I wouldn’t have had to be mindful of what I used the SIM card for. The hotel wifi was often slow & unreliable, so I would use the SIM card to upload photos onto Instagram.

This used up more data than I would’ve liked. I would highly recommend SimsDirect for use in the USA & Canada.

I recently used the 3G data SIM card while travelling in Canada and it worked perfectly. Before I left Australia I wasn’t sure how it would work as I have always previously had sims with a phone number attached.

I was able to make calls with what’s app and used messenger and what’s app for messages. If worked well for gos when I needed it!.

Bring you own device ($40 for 2nd line unlimited talk an text 5gb of data) has allowed me to have two mobile lines on my phone. Now I can have service wherever I go and on different mobile networks. I did this due to problems with my primary service connection issues (Sprint/T-Mobile unlimited everything connections since the merger).

Adding Verizon has really been great! Verizon signal strength is strong and is literally everywhere. This is great for people that carry two phones as it would allow for you to carry one phone (your personal line and a business line).

You choose what is best for your needs $40-$150 and it drops $10-$25 with auto pay. Loving it!.

I needed the Verizon nano sim card for my unlocked Moto G7 smartphone because the Verizon micro sim I bought a long time ago wouldn’t fit. This sim kit was pretty quick and easy to activate service. I called the number and registered my device so I could get a new Verizon phone number and applied my minutes (the $50 Verizon prepaid card) because the online activation was too complicated for me since I hadn’t had service for a long time.

If you’re only using WiFi and don’t already have phone service you’ll probably find it easier to call and activate by typing your information in the keypad as the automated voice guides you through the steps.

I had some difficulties with online activation so I went with the quick easy option of calling. The instructions on the packaging are pretty straight forward. I’m happy with this purchase because now I have very fast connection at home and away from home.

Check the Verizon coverage map to see if you’ll have connection where you live and work before going through with the purchase though. It’s very high speed in my area.

no different than straight talk, same slow garbage data speed as straight talk and all the other prepaid plans. switched from straight talk because of the painfully slow data only to find out Verizon snubs their own prepaid customers the same way they do straight talk customers.

good data speeds are reserved for post paid customers, prepaid get throttled on Verizon just like straight talk during peak hours. if you just need prepaid service taking and text is just as good as anyone else’s, if you’re trying to switch because you think it will have faster data than cricket or straight talk don’t do it, you’ll have the same speed.

fortunately I’m always near wifi but wanted faster data when I wasn’t, this will barely load apps it’s so slow, you’ll literally spend 5 minutes waiting to login to your banking app to check a balance, it’s pathetic.

Bought at $14+tax which makes this great value for either a temporary service between carriers or as an intro to Ultra Mobile. Port was easy and almost instant, though I switched from Mint Mobile which is actually under Ultra Mobile.

You will need the Acct # and Acct PIN # related to your existing phone service for the port This runs on the T-Mobile network. Data LTE speeds are great, though this particular plan is not for heavy data users at only 1GB of LTE.

Have not personally noticed any service issues but may be spotty in certain areas outside of bigger cities.

I needed a cellphone service provider that used ATT’s towers. H2O fit the bill. My plan is to eventually phase out this number, but until then I needed an inexpensive service option. No other ATT mvno beats H2O in price.

The closest that I know of is Red Pocket ($10/mo. for unlimited minutes/text and 1GB of data). RP is also good imho, but why pay more for the same quality service if you don’t need/use the extra mins/txt/data.

Overall, I’ve found that H2O’s Pay-As-You-Go service is superior compared to other ATT mvno’s for my purposes. Currently they offer a plan priced at $10 for 3 months. At less than $4/mo (the cost of a vending machine snack + drink), this is totally worth it.

I highly recommend H2O. After making your first payment, you can setup autopay so you don’t have to worry about getting dropped if life gets busy and you forget to manually pay your bill. Also, once you setup your account online you can track your balance using their website, however every time you send a text or talk on the phone, H2O will send you a txt msg alerting you to your new balance.

Very handy. Each txt or 1min of call time is $0. 05. 1MB of data or MMS is $0. 10.

l’m not sure what exactly this is supposed to be reviewing, but here goes. The SIM card worked as expected; it fit my iPhone and I was able to activate service. Porting in my number took less than an hour despite a small (self-imposed) problem.

I accidentally provided the wrong account PIN for my old carrier. That can’t be corrected online, so I had to call customer service. The rep was polite and quickly fixed the problem. H2O’s service has been fine.

My previous carrier was also AT&T-based and I’ve not noticed any difference in the service I’ve gotten so far. The biggest difference has been in the cost vs the previous carrier. I’m paying less than half what I was paying and the experience has stayed the same.

Overall, I’d recommend H2O if you use wifi the majority of the time but still need to stay on the AT&T network for data and phone calls.

No WiFi Calling. No GSM service. It was a poor decision when getting these sims and signing up with H2O and customer service did not care. After one week, I switched to USMobile because they had GSM T-mobile and Wifi Calling.

I think H2O is just too new of a service and in no hurry to be one of the top services. I wanted Mint Mobile but they go in three months instead of monthly. So Mint is a whopping $45 at once. Too expensive for low income.

I installed this product in a “travel” GMS HTC phone I have used in the past for going out of country – the UK and Canada. As Speedtalk makes no claims about the UK I do not expect coverage there. I go to Canada 2 to 4 times a year and need only light local usage while there (Ontario) with the ability to be contacted by US family members in case of emergency.

Not wanting or needing the volume or cost of a regular monthly renewal plan, this will fill the need nicely,,,,,,if it works in Ontario. As others have reported, installation/connection was easy and connects to T-mobile in my area (upstate new york).

If possible I will update this review after my next trip to Canada.

An absolute quality deal. No pain all the gain. Why people want to use a $1200 phone with a locked in plan that sucks any monthly budget is beyond this 70 year old guy. I have used others and this is a really competitive and substanial deal.

The network is too too bad; most of the time both incoming and outgoing calls are impossible to put. Moreover, if you luckily able to get incoming call, theres a big possibility not to hear clearly. Though the price is cheap but if you cant use your phone on time that is useless and waste of money.

Ten bucks a month for wireless service, what’s not to love! Only issue is you change your phone number every three months (but sometimes get rid of a junky number with tons of spam). I forward a google voice number to the Lyca number so people always call / text me the same no.

Currently on my third 3 mo SIM.

Everything is as described, the only issue is that in LA, i feel the internet coverage is poor and speed is very slow. Phone calls lose signal in several areas, however the overall value for what you get is amazing, i can call most countries free of charge! For this alone and for the price this item is amazing value.

In 2010, the best and probably most underrated smartphone of its day, the Samsung Epic 4G debuted as the 2nd ever “4G” phone on Sprint’s Wimax network. The phone had it all: fast processor, amazing screen, 4G, and the best slideout QWERTY keyboard yet seen.

A year or so later, the clone of the Epic 4G, the Stratosphere, arrived on Verizon as the first ever LTE slider, predating the Droid 4 by months. The phone in 2011 was somewhat outdated as the only physical changes from the Epic were a slightly reworked keyboard and slightly better front camera.

Still single core and 512mb ram. However the Strat was still a contender because of the Super AMOLED screen, blazing fast Verizon LTE and a keyboard that was and arguably still is the best ever on a smartphone along with its older Sprint cousin.

Now, even in late 2012 this over 2 year old phone is STILL relevant because of price, the fact that is has LTE and the biggest thing, IMO, is that those of us on Verizon grandfathered unlimited data are no longer able to upgrade at subsidized prices without losing our unlimited data.

I don’t know about you but I personally can NOT justify paying $600-$700 for a phone not to mention that now that I’m off contract VZW can take away the grandfathered unlimited data at any time (which they WILL do at some point).

I don’t feel like $700 on an iphone or a Note II would be very prudent when I plan to leave in a year anyway for Sprint. In the meantime what is someone like me to do who is fed up with their junk Motorola product that does not have LTE, is grandfathered into unlimited data and has to wait a year for the wife and kid’s contracts to be up to jump ship? Get a Stratosphere.

These phones in good shape or new are around $150, shipping included if you look. The screen is great, the phone runs just about any app still, there is aftermarket support in the form of roms and kernels, it has LTE capability and it has what is STILL probably the best keyboard out there after all this time.

I’ve used the Droid 4 and I have a Droid 3 right now, the keyboards do not compare trust me. Sure, no dual or quad core (Note II drool. ), screen resolution is 800×400 and battery life isn’t the greatest but I will get to keep my unlimited data for the time being till VZW decides to pull the plug on all off-contract grandfathered users and go as fast as possible while doing it for a bargain basement price.

I had an Epic 4G for about a year flashed to boost mobile before my better half decided she wanted an iphone and Sprint didn’t have them yet so we went back to Verizon. That was the BEST phone I ever used and I’m glad to be getting a Stratosphere to get back to that feeling of actually enjoying using my phone.

Every Motorola product except the original Droid I’ve wanted to throw against a wall and my Droid 3 is no exception. Samsung truly does it better and the Epic/Stratosphere is a testament to that after all this time.

I mean look at the Galaxy S3 and the Note II right now. I mean seriously they blow EVERYTHING else including the new iphone out of the water.

Unlike most for the network vendors, I could not find just the Straight Talk sim in any of the stores. So I bought this one on line for a few dollars. I needed a different sided sim that my old phone used.

Works fine. I don’t know why they they don’t sell them in stores like most of the other wireless vendors. Yes, I know it says Total Wireless but they are Straight Talk.

While I got the stratosphere as a free phone with contract (which was a pretty damn good deal), it really hasn’t measured up to the expectations. I didn’t want an all touch phone because I text way more than i talk on it and i find the touch keyboards frustrating to use.

The phone itself has some great features and was pretty awesome for the first couple months. I’d say probably 6 months in or so, I started to have trouble with it running slower and slower. 10 months in, the internet was running terribly slow and I was having problems checking facebook even with a full wifi connection at home.

1 year in, the phone decided to start resetting itself randomly (usually right in the middle of texts or while i was using the phone, a couple times it reset right when my alarm was supposed to go off and thus it did not go off and i was late to work).

It’s now 16 months in and I am currently staring at a black screen that is flashing white “Samsung” letters at me for about 3 or 4 seconds until it goes black and repeats the same thing. This is after I just factory reset the thing too.

In all fairness, I have dropped the thing (who doesnt?) a few times and as far as the durability of the case, it took it like a champ. All in all, if you’re looking for a cheap cheap phone for a short period of time, you will probably get lucky with this one.

If you’re the kind of person who doesn’t get a new phone til you get your free upgrade, don’t get this phone.

Set up three separate services with speed talk. Since they use T Mobil this sounded like a great opportunity to save my family a little money every month, boy was I fooled!! Installed their sims cards in all three unlocked phones.

Since the first day it was a TOTAL NIGHTMARE!! Their coverage map totally lies!! FALSE ADVERTISING!! IF you can’t use at least your phone how could of value is this really?? Their data services are even worse.

Do yourself a favor, don’t waste your money like my family did!!! Your best value plan that I have found is Visible. This service is offered Verizon, has a reasonable rate and work great wherever you are!! Again don’t get sucked in, I guarantee you will be very disappointed!! I’m getting very tired of being lied to just so companies can make money off of us, the true tax payers!! Do your research!! If this helps just one person I feel I’ve done my job.

The network works much better than I expected. I had read some negative reviews about the service not working well and I have not found that to be true. We are using Speed Talk for my son’s Xplora X5 watch and it’s works great! Even when we travel, I haven’t had any issues with service.

I highly recommend.

My unlocked phone immediately recognized the micro sim card and showed TMobile service. It’s very easy to manage your account, minutes and usage on the website. I’m really liking this service for my kids phone.

I can limit his usage with no overages!.

All that I have done with this SIM is activate it with a new number, feed it some money, and make a few calls. Activation and calling went without a hitch. Costs are extremely low. For me so far it seems a perfect solution.

I did not sign up for a monthly plan and I have not tried to contact Lycamobile. My satisfaction is 100%, but from reading other reviews I suspect that your mileage may vary.

Fabulous product, plans, easy. I used straittalk previously the plans more of them to choose from and for what I paid for with straight talk I’m paying the same with Lycamobile but more data. Love it Thank you Lycamobile.

The T-Mobile card was not compatible with my Oppo phone even though I had specifically asked before purchasing it. I got to LAX and had to rely on Airport wi-fi to contact my transport. When I contacted USA travel sim card about the issue, I was asked if I could find a compatible phone.

As it turned out, I was able to use an old phone from a friend but it quickly became apparent that the borrowed phone had been replaced for a reason! It no longer held charge and had other faults which limited it’s usefulness.

I wound up getting another sim card and not using my travel sim. Definitely check the IMEI number for compatibility before getting a card! Now I know.

The USA Sim I bought worked well, but I was shocked to discover – when I was overseas and tried to call home – that my plan did not allow for international calls. I had made a point (I THOUGHT) of clicking on the “yes I’ll pay $15 extra for unlimited international calls” button; but ended up with no such ‘extra’.

Returning to the website to see what had gone wrong, I found an enigmatic option, where this extra appears to be ‘selected’ (that is to say, it automatically shows a tick) but the tick does not actually mean that item has been selected! Most confusing – and ridiculous, since I would happily have bought this extra, but Sim Corner somehow confused me into NOT buying it 🤷‍♀️.

Absolute rubbish! I bought this sim before leaving Australia, to use on a 3 day trip to Vegas and LA. Firstly – T Mobile is ridiculous- no service at Venice Beach California. Secondly – although it stated that this sim was non-rechargeable, on the second day I got a text to say I’d been charged for a $40 recharge.

Lastly – I tried to register and log in multiple times, to check why I’d been charged, with zero luck. Number not recognised, email not recognised, error… I snapped the sim in half and threw it in the bin.

Don’t waste your money. 😡.

At&t store wouldn’t let me in so i had to order this sim online since old phone was micro and new one is nano sim. I stuck it in the new phone and entered the required numbers on the at&t prepaid website and was up and running.

The only snag i hit was that the phone had to be powered off and then back on for the phone to link to the network after initial setup on the website. Had to google why the phone was saying no mobile network found.

Customer service people at At&t kept telling me the only way to keep my number and activate a new sim was to go inside a store, which is false. I still have the same phone number i’ve had for 17 years.

We had to go in and find a AT&T when we got to the States as we had not been able to get the card to work. Apparently you need to spend about $70 AUD to get a $30 plan – that part was not indicated in the purchase information.

The guy at AT&T, who was very helpful, said it would have been way cheaper for us to get it directly from them as you do not have to pay for a sim, which cost $15 as well the pin, which cost $25 as well as credit for the plan.

So long story short, we spent way too much to set it up, it wasn’t easy to use as was indicated. The guy at AT&T felt sorry for us and gave us data for the price of the sim, which we would have had to pay more money for.

We had actually purchased 2 sims and pins, and didn’t use either, neither worked. USA has wifi easily accessible which worked just fine.

Worked like a charm in my new LG phone. when you activate it have your phone IMEI and the sim card numbers handy. FYI: The card is very small, you may think the envelope is empty. Fast delivery. Fast delivery.

One caution to give is that Mint mobile wouldn’t activate this chip on an existing permanent line. My daughter damaged her other SIM card and we’ve had Mint mobile for years. I bought this thinking we could have an instant transfer of SIM cards and not have a disruption of service while waiting for a new card to come in the mail.

Mint couldn’t activate this SIM card on the line, saying this is just a trial card and would give her a whole new phone number. Otherwise, can’t complain because this used to be $5 and is now $2 so that’s a good deal for someone who’s a new customer wanting to try out the service to see how coverage is.

We like mint mobile a lot.

I was not pleased with the Mint mobile sim kit with 7 day trial. I purchased item because I was out of data and a few days shy of next billing cycle on my primary phone plan. It said trial included talk, text and data.

The data was just a couple of megabytes but I assumed that would suffice for a few days at least. I was not even using data, no internet browser was even opened while completing the activation it notified me I had used all provided data.

I HAD NOT EVEN FINISHED ACTIVATION which was no longer than 5 mins if that. A total waste of money so if your looking for 7 days of data look elsewhere it was on the upwards of 5 mins worth on THEIR activation site.

Consumer cellular is a waste of money. The AARP discount is very low. Once activated, I rarely had any service. Probably because it was based on AT&T, which has never worked where I am. On a drive from NC to FL, the ONLY times I had any service was when I went near a few large cities.

I dont believe anyone who says they had great service all the from north to south. Internet access near gastonia is nonexistent. Do yourself a favor and switch to Total Wireless, it uses Verizon towers, and works.

Price for what you get is better with total wireless.

Do not use this company. They seem cheaper but not actually any cheaper than T Mobile or Mint Mobile. How they get you is their split plan your pick talk andvdata amount. Plus they treat employees like craps.

They lied. This is not a reputable company. Mint Mobile or T Mobile or Metro PCS is better. Don’t fall for Consumer Cellular gimmicks or bag of tricks.
