This product was highly recommended by Good Housekeeping. Works great on stubborn tarnish. I have some old sliver plated items with lots of tarnish. I decided to start with the worst piece. One item (a 1930-50’s silver jigger) in particular was completely black.

With Weiman Silver Polish and a little elbow grease it now looks wonderful. I feel confident that the other pieces will clean up even easier.

The closest results any commercial product has come to the bling effect of Simichrome, I haven’t used it on aluminum yet, and I dont have Simichrome handy to compare it with, but the polish is as good or better than any other available product I’ve tried over the years, Simichrome is hard to find on a shelf at a store, if you use Weiman metal polish make sure you use a long screwdriver, and stir until the bottom and top are mixed completely, invert then shake the snot out of it until it doesn’t glurp in the bottle any more, the longer it sits, the more you must stir n shake, you won’t over stir it.

It smelled good. It did not hurt my lungs to breathe while using it. I have copd.

I have been a user of Goddard Silver Foam for decades. It is the BEST product to use when cleaning culver of all types – cutlery, teapots, jewellery. I had been unable to purchase it locally and ended up going online.

It was delivered really quickly and I was able to obtain a really large size container which will no doubt last me for years !! The product is gentle on the silverware and polishes up so shiny and bright, it is the BEST product for cleaning silver.

Much better than SILVO which was what my Mother used to use when we were kids. In the attached photos the walking stick handle had been almost black with tarnish. Its now gleaming !!!.

This product was recommended to me by the famous jewelry store with the blue boxes & white ribbons. This particular store was using this same product to clean my mesh jewelry (i. e. mesh ring & necklace with multiple, intertwined strands with heart pendant).

After the store started to charge for these once complimentary cleanings, I chose to clean my sterling silver pieces myself. I’m absolutely delighted to have followed the “blue box” store’s advice because this is the best cleaner I have ever used.

The “foam” gets through all crevices of my intricate/mesh & simple design pieces & then rinses clean vs creams, pastes, & lotions which would dry, get stuck in between the mesh, wouldn’t clean off the tarnish unless I was able to do the impossible – polish inside the tiny, mesh openings.

Not to mention rinsing the pastes, lotions, & creams was impossible. What once would turn out to be a hopeless cleaning/polishing experience for me, is now a joy with the Goddards Silver Polish Foam.

It doesn’t dry & get stuck inside of your chains. Just use as directed (use a sponge or soft wet cloth), gently rub with minimal effort, & then rinse clean. I don’t find the smell offensive at all especially compared to the liquid sterling silver cleaner which starts with a “T” & is in a black bottle.

Truly a miracle in a bottle/jar, in my opinion. Definitely worth a try. Highly recommend.

I was hoping for a liquid that I could dip my silver plate flatware into, like the old Silver Dip, but this is a paste with a sponge applicator. It would probably work for a silver tea service, if I had one, but it’s awkward for flatware, and it actually doesn’t do a very good job of removing tarnish.

Greetings everyone, silver and copper polishes have always been abrasive with a strong chemical odour. I asked for assistance from a clerk about metal polishes and she immediately walked me to the section and intoduces me to Weiman silver wipes and do they ever do an outstanding job.

I’m actually pretty impressed with these silver wipes. I recently purchased a necklace for my wedding and noticed that over time there was some slight discoloration on it. Obviously no one wants to wear silver discolored jewelry, so I purchased these wipes and it took everything off and brought it back to it’s initial silver like when newly purchased! Great value too.

Found this product to work well for polishing/buffing most types of precious metals. Primary use for me is to remove fine hairline scratches and restore gold and stainless steel to its original pristine condition.

The RED compound works extremely well on a buff wheel or rotary polisher for gold ring/watch etc. (I use a muslin wheel).

Good polishing product and good kit. Red for rough finishing, white for pre-finishing and green for final polishing.

GREAT product, the best for small silver objects (not large plates) whatever will fit into the container, tarnish will disappear from any object in about 3 seconds, cannot use with delicate materials though like lacquered or dyed polished opal or pearls or glazed precious stones because it will take the lacquer and dye off.

The container says not to use for gold but I have good luck with solid gold also, best to use the gold cleaner they make for that. The fluid does collect dirt over time; one container will work for hundreds of uses over a year’s time.

I replace mine about once/year.

I am beyond satisfied with this product. I’ve used other products like this before and I have usually been disappointed. Not this time! The first time I used it my jewelry came out looking as if it was brand new! Even the pieces that I’ve had for 20+ years!! And, I didn’t even have to soak them or work on them for more than a couple of minutes! *I did however also use a jewelery cleaning cloth on my old & heavily tarnished pieces beforehand just to buff off the worst of the grime.

Yes, it is a gross smell, but the more tarnished your silver jewelry is, the more the cleaner is going to smell. That means it is working. I have another silver jewelry cleaner that has no odor to it at all, and it doesn’t even begin to clean my sterling silver jewelry.

Oh my gosh I cannot say enough good things about this product. I had a couple pieces of Tiffany’s jewelry that got extremely dirty to the point where I wouldn’t even wear them anymore. I made the mistake of storing them with some other low quality necklaces and it just completely ruined them (or so I thought).

I tried polishing them with a lint free polishing cloth, but it didn’t help. and then I found this stuff! I purchased at a local Walmart for only (don’t quote me on this) $7 or $8. I wasn’t very hopeful because I was convinced that I ruined my jewelry.

The packaging is wonderful and extremely convenient to use. Inside the plastic jar, there is a stick like mechanism in the center and when you pull it up it is surrounded by a tray with very fine holes so your jewelry can’t fall through.

You lift ip the tray and place your jewelry on it,then you lower the tray/jewelry into the solution. Since I had some very dingy looking jewelry, I left it in the solution for the maximum amount of time (10 seconds).

I removed it from the tray with a lint free wipe (made by red carpet manicure) that are actually intended to use for nail polish remover. I then wiped the jewelry clean of the solution. I literally watched a dirty, unwearable and slightly tarnished piece of jewelry turn into a beautifully polished and clean piece that I couldn’t wait to wear again! I quickly grabbed all my other sterling silver pieces so I could “restore” them back to their original beauty:) That being said, I highly recommend this product to anyone who has some sterling silver laying around that needs a good cleaning.

I love this jewelry cleaner! Follow directions! Don’t leave your jewelry in longer than the time said. This cleans jewelry in a flash. Beware though. it smells funky! Easy to use. WOW!!! You seriously must try this amazing product! It’s literally like a miracle how well it shines your tarnished jewelry! It can be used on all silver. But as I said I use it on my silver rope bracelet and rope necklace, which are tough to get in the grooves.

This comes with a sponge and all you do is apply the product on the sponge and I just simply pull the jewelry through the sponge a few times at that’s it! It gets in between the twisted rope chains, and the end result is a sparkling brand new looking piece of jewelry.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well this works when I tested it out on the only tarnished piece of silver I could find, a spoon. I bought the stuff for a sterling silver ring I recently got which came with instructions suggesting keeping it polished to prevent tarnishing.

So I tried it on the spoon using the sponge that came with the cream and the spoor looks brand new. I didn’t know that was possible or how bad tarnishing could get. I’m confident this will work for my ring.

It didn’t take much elbow grease to remove the tarnishing from the spoon, either. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures but I wasn’t expecting such results.

I bought some Tarn-X and thought it did a good job on an old silver set I bought at Goodwill. Then I saw that this stuff got a good review on how to polish silver and bought some. The Tarn-X was yellowish compared to the shine I got with this stuff.

And super easy to use. Who out there has silver sets that need polishing? Not a whole lot of you. But if you DO, get this stuff. It will outshine anything on the market.

Great product. Could not find it in Alaska. Works the best on silver with less scrubbing and rubbing. Gentle, does not scratch. Smells good and fresh. Non-toxic. Easy to use. Rinses off well and completely with running water.

I have used Wright’s Silver Cream for many years, and consider it an excellent product (I am a collector of Victorian silver); however, I now live in a tiny town where I cannot but it. I was enormously pleased to find it could be purchased online and sent to me extremely rapidly.

It is not liquid, misleading description. It is creamy like a Ciff cleaning emulsion. Does not fit purpose of what I need to bath a complicated segmented chain and necklaces. Unable to clean. sneak necklace.
