20 Best Silk Pillowcase For Skin (2023 Updated)

I have been using these pillowcases for several months and almost from the very first night I noticed big difference. It got easier for me to fall asleep on it and the quality of my sleep got better.

I like its cooling effect in summer, but in winter it was comfortable to sleep on it too. I don’t like the feeling of overheat, so this pillowcases suit me so well. I can’t say anything about anti-aging effects, but I think it helps in some way.

It feels better for my skin and my hair to sleep on it. But I can’t tell that there are any significant changes I noticed. About the price, yes, it is a bit pricey. But I am really satisfied with the quality and the colors.

All my slip pillowcases just look like new, the colors didn’t fade. It is easy to take care of. Can be washed in washing machine but I use the liquid soap for silk. The size is perfect for 50*70 cm pillows.

I had some other silk pillowcases from other brands and should say that the quality really depends on the price. I think that this particular item is worth it.

I have the envelope case and it’s the second one I’ve purchased in a few years. The first one accidentally ended up in the washing machine and dryer so I kept it and used it for the days that my second one is being laundered.

I NEVER put it in the machine and always always hand wash mine with a clean silk specific detergent. I know that might be too time consuming for people but I don’t trust silk in any kind of machine no matter what kind of bag or cycle it’s on.

It’s buttery and almost rubbery silky soft and will for years this way. I let it soak in cold water for 15 min after I’ve agitated it and squished it with my hands and the detergent for a few min, rinse it with cold, lay it flat on a towel and roll the towel up, squishing it as I go.

It dries after that in less than an hour and really is simple. I can’t sleep without this case and my hair almost never sheds in bed anymore.

I love putting my head down to sleep. The pillow cases feel so soft against my skin and I wake up without a terrible case of bed head. I haven’t washed them yet, so I can’t speak to that, but you can tell that they are well made and high quality, so I assume that they will wash well.

Excellent product at a good price. They arrived quickly also. I bought the white and they are a pretty shade of off white. I’m very happy with my purchases. I bought king size for myself and standard sizes for other family members.

They are also packaged beautifully along with a netted bag to launder them in which was also packaged nicely. It just seems like a quality company. I would purchase from them again in the future.

The shipping package of the 3 I ordered arrived a week ago, but I didn’t want my daughter to see it and so did not open, not until today, else I would have given you feedback sooner. I’ve not used the one for me yet, but I did pull one out to show a friend looking for gift ideas for his wife and two young but grown daughters.

My friend thought this a wonderful suggestion and I bet he ordered some already. The dark green I chose is gorgeous. I got three that color, two to give away. I’ve had a pillow case, silk, for years now and I love it so much that I wanted more.

These are easy to hand wash and they dry so quickly, less than one day. And they are lovely to sleep upon, smooth and cool. I’d seen all these colors offered elsewhere, but not this beautiful green! In person, it is even more beautiful and that’s what cinched it for me via you! Thank you! RR.

The pillowcase is really excellent. The quality of the fabric alone is phenomenal–it’s something I’d expect in couture lingerie, but was not expecting with this purchase. Getting ready to wash it for the first time, so.

fingers crossed I don’t ruin it. I bought it for my husband, who gets really hot at night and has been using a poly-satin pillowcase for years. I thought this would be cooler. So far, he says he can’t really tell a difference in temperature, but it’s only been a week.

This pillowcase is so comfortable and soft. Fits perfectly on my king sized pillows. It washes well. My hair looks less frizzy when I get up in the morning since using this. Love that it has a zippered closure so it doesn’t slide off my pillow.

I will never go back to regular pillow cases after using this silk pillowcase. This item is well made and about half the price of the other silk pillowcases I looked at. It really does make a difference with how your hair looks in the mornings.

Boy was I wrong! I had so many misconceptions about silk bedding. I thought it would feel funny on my skin, be too hot, etc. The first time my head hit the pillow I knew I had been wrong all this time.

The pillowcase felt wonderful. It didn’t retain heat at all. The construction of this item appears excellent. I have never felt the zipper when I am sleeping. So often, with other zippered products, you can feel the zippers scratching on your skin.

I have only used it a short time so I cannot attest to the results after washing. Also, as a side note, the packaging is very impressive! It would make an awesome gift.

I have curly hair and gets tangled very easily. At saloon, one stylist suggested to use silk pillow cover to avoid tangles. So I ordered this pillow cover. Seriously this is a great tip. Once I started using, my hair does not get fizzy and tangled.

I bought it in the blush color, which is a perfect pink for me. I don’t like that mauve “eraser” pink color, and I didn’t want a bright pink or baby pink either. It is a very calming color and a toned down, muted pink.

The silk is soo soft and I was so happy to invest into a silk pillow for my hair and for the breathability factor. I tried satin pillows, but they just don’t breathe! The packaging is amazing too. I love these pillowcases! I searched all over for reasonably priced ones before choosing to buy these. I bought two, and they feel so smooth. They really made my bed look elegant as well. I haven’t washed them yet, so I can’t attest to that, but I don’t see there being any issues.

The zipper closure might just be my favorite part! Seriously, silk pillowcases can be extremely expensive, so definitely take advantage of the lower price here and same great quality!.

Not real silk, creates wrinkles on face. fabric is rough. I have owned “silk” pillowcases in the past, and I am not sure what this is made out of, but it’s not genuine. I am a side sleeper, and I wake up with wrinkles around my eyes that last all day.

Do not recommend purchasing if you’re looking for a good pillow case to prevent wrinkles.

I bought a different bed a week before my ghostbed it was about 200 dollar’s more. It was too hard and nothing like it’s description. I wasn’t happy. I was never going to buy another bed online again.

A week later I couldn’t take sleeping in the bed any longer because if the pain from 3 back surgeries. I knew I needed another bed but my wife likes a little firmer bed and I like a softer bed. I am very pleased with my silk pillowcase as opposed to my cotten pillowcase. It is exactly what I pleasantly expected. I absolutely love the way the softness feels on my face and skin, and stays cool unlike other pillow cases.

First, the blush color is perfection, with beautiful coloring, and accents coordinating colors – plus, we all know it’s MY PILLOW. It’s not the creepy kind of silky pillowcases I grew up with that are hard to keep ahold of, no – this is not too slippery, just prevents the wear/tear against your face – nice touch.

I find it sad, and quite disconcerting, that the only way I can contact you is from an email generated by you to me asking for a review. I purchased a pillowcase on November 20th, 2021 that after washing the 1st time had a noticeable stain on it and I called Customer Service on Friday, December 17th and left a message with my contact information….

no one called back so I called again on Monday, December 20th, two times!!…. and left my information again, and no one has called me back. I didn’t bother to call Tuesday or Wednesday because no one ever gets back to me.

Although the pillow was purchased November 20, 2021, because I have another Blissy pillowcase I didn’t want use this one for a while. It was washed in cold water, prior to use, (there’s no bleach of any sort in my home), and air dried, so I believe the dye bled and this pillowcase is defective.

Here’s a picture of the pillowcase and I so hope someone finally get back to me so this matter can be resolved. The second photo is just so you can see how well I have taken care of my previous pillowcase.

They actually are 19 momme, very soft, and have a nice thick weight but not too thick. They are soon very well. I even turned them inside out to check on the seams. One thing I really like about these that is different from other pillow cases I’ve had is that envelope closure is a full width of the pillow case, which makes getting the pillow in and out so much easier.

I love my Ecosa Silk Pillowcase. I received my first one as a Christmas present a couple of years ago which has lasted really well. It worked wonders for my skin and my colour-damaged hair. I recently just replaced the pillowcase and got to experience the new silk feel all over again.

The lilac shade is lovely and works with the rest of my bedding. Although my pillow is a standard size, the pillow case is a little short. i can get it to fit and zipper up, but It forces the pillow to bunch a little within it.

Needs another inch, I’d say. I’ve washed it as instructed and the dry it on a drying rack (a bit of an inconvenience but I hope it means this silk pillowcase lasts longer than my prior one from a competitor).

No rips. As I saw previous reviews is sizing, so I got bigger size for my standard pillow. Going up 1 size bigger worked for me. I think the company should consider about this area. So far, Everything works for me.

I would recommend this product if not a problem to pay little more for a bigger size.

I have purchased other Satin pillowcases but these are the best I have found. Fabric is a nice weight, not thin and flimsy so they wash well. I always hang to dry and do not use fabric softener as it will break down the fibers overtime.

The color wasn’t my first choice but it is a nice color and no fading after wash. It’s good for your face and hair as helps avoid wrinkles and hair from being pulled. Would make a nice gift.

Sleeping on silk feels incredibly luxe – in my head, all princesses sleep on silk sheets, so I’m working my way up to a full bedding set. I have very long, tangle prone, 2C hair, and I noticed a distinct difference in the way my hair felt after sleeping on this pillowcase.

While it didn’t magically get rid of the knots that always from when I forget to put my hair up before going to sleep, I did notice a significant difference in the tightness of the knots. It was much easier for me to brush through my hair after sleeping on this pillowcase than my usual rougher cotton options.

Very comfortable, coming from a person who’s extremely picky and sleeps only on Tempur pillows. I definitely feel less pressure on my face during my sleep hours and I wake up with less of that skin stretch from face-pressing against my other pillow.

Warning though, the pillow’s default pillow case is terrible if you have a shaved head, my tiny hairs kept pulling strings out of that material. It felt awful when I woke up entangled in them. So I bought a silk cover.

I recommend they revise the material of the default cover.

The silk pillow case is soft on the skin, however i regret not buying the normal size not the one for the beauty pillow. As this is not comfortable, i now cannot use the case for a regular pillow.

Besides the fact that they sent me the wrong color (black instead of champagne), I really like this product! It fits the pillow perfectly which is important when we’re talking about reducing wrinkles / face marks.
