The sloppy joe’s had good reviews so I was looking forward to finding a savory alternative for lunch. However, upon my first bite I couldn’t believe how sweet it was! I tried adding some laughing cow cheese to cut the sweetness but it didn’t work.

Anyone who likes Manwich sauce has not used Del Monte Sloppy Joe original. I’ve used Del Monte for years but Walmart (as usual) decided what I will eat and removed del monte. I bought manwich since that’s all the choice I had.

My family tried to eat it but just could not. It’s horrible. I finally found a store that sells the Del Monte sloppy Joe sauce and am happy again! Walmart can eat Manwich as far as I’m concerned.

I use your product about once every other month and I used it tonight. I had 1lbs of Chuck Ground Beef from food lion and the manwhich can for the appropriate ratio to meat. I cooked my food and served it.

While eating my Husband started to choke and spit this object out of his mouth. It’s hard to the touch and brown in color sharp edges. I never saw anything like this before. I will not be making your product anymore.

I bought this to try it one time and the family absolutely loved it. My husband won’t eat the regular ones, so I decided to try this. He was in love. He even told his friend about it at work and his friend went and bought it and came back raving about how good the manwiches were.

I even converted a few friends. All I know is we are in love with this and like it even more than the regular!.

Well sloppy Joe’s as one of those products that are great for kids for a quick lunch. To my knowledge it’s fairly healthy. I wouldn’t say improve upon but I do know people who add spices to it. You can pair this with bread and make a sandwich you can pair this with cut up vegetables and use it as a dip.

You can put cheese in it and pour it over cooked hotdogs in a bun there’s so many different things you can do with this product and kids just love it so do adults.

Warning – takes more than ground beef! It might be tasty but I’m going to have to wait to try it. Package front says “just add ground beef”. That is incorrect. You also need an eight ounce can of tomato sauce.

Wonderful flavor! I’m vegetarian so I use beyond meat and I add a green or red pepper as well add an onion-which helps cut the sodium. Healthy ingredients.

First time to try this product and we were pleasantly surprised. In this household it will replace the product in the can that everyone is familiar with. Great flavor and fast prep. It’s a winner!

This is hands down the best sloppy joe sauce ever. I used a half jar with about a pound of lean beef. The little bit of sauced meat left over was a quick delicious reheat for a bedtime snack on regular bread since we were out of buns.

We love it and will double our order next time.

Hunts Manwich Original Sloppy Joe Sauce is the only sloppy joe mix I’ll use! It’s delicious, no other brand compares in flavor. I just cook up the meat, add the sauce throw it into the crockpot on low before I leave in the morning.

By noon it’s ready, my family can grab a bun eat whenever it’s convenient. The flavor of the sloppy Joe’s is incredible after cooking all day in the crockpot. If you haven’t tried it this way before, definitely give it a try!! You won’t be disappointed!!.

I have been making this for mix 20 years. I thought I did something wrong. No, followed everything to a tee 5 times, it is now is a horrible Sloppy Joe Mix. Not sure what you did, boys and girls, but I am done forever.

It stinks and with meat prices as high as they are now, I just tossed out $8. 12 for a pound of meat. I get you might think, oh we just lost a customer that pays $1. 99 for a sloppy joe mix. No, done with McCormick.

Like many others, we used McCormicks sloppy joe mix for decades. then it changed, and none of my family buys it anymore. It is really bad. way too sweet, too. Please bring back the old recipe (the one where sweetener was not the first ingredient), at least as an “original recipe” option, in addition to the one that is sold now.

I purchased these mixes in order to make sloppy joes at home. I prefer the powder mix to the canned sauce because I am able to better control the amount of seasoning that I am adding to the beef. I have purchased some of this and I am not sure why, but it is not reflecting the CONTAINS SOY warning. I just checked on the Simply Organic web site and do not see any that don’t contain soy. Was this missed on the labeling or is this truly soy free?.

I’ve been a repeat customer on these, as sometimes we need an easy yet healthy go to meal. I keep cooked lentils in the freezer, in 1#pkg. & substitute for hamburger. Add different sautéed veges in water, blend @ wala’ dinner is ready.

This sloppy joe is awesome,it tastes like BBQ chopped beef sandwich. You can freeze in separate containers. I’ve eaten two cans already.

I have tried to like this Sloppy Joe. But I just don`t. It is too sweet for me. It looks good, smells good and is quality but its just doesn’t work for me. Its kinda soupy so I added some corn starch to thicken and then the whole sha bang of spices.

It`s still too sweet. Guess I`m just a different brand kind of guy.

My family loved this sloppy Joe even the wife who is the hardest to please! This is simple to make my 8 year old daughter made it for dinner a few nights ago and we all loved it. Wife and I both work 12 hour shifts one works days the other nights so this makes for an easy meal for the kids to make before I wake up.

Love that this is salt free as my husband normally adds his own salt. But the flavor speaks volumes, I cant believe there isn’t more salt, it is down right flavorful. And I grew up not liking meat loaf and here I am making it.
