Reason for 5 stars is I’ve been using this for years and it’s clean, safe stores well and taste like comfort food. This one reminds me of stew,with a nice amount of gravy. The price is great and since covid I find myself eating completes a lot more.

I select the chicken, turkey, and beef meals that are less than 250 calories. The meals are a good source of protein, low fat, low sodium, and taste good. I like the portion size. I like these meals.

I ordered this by mistake. I had purchased it before and was in a hurry while placing the order, and just clicked it because it popped up under re-orders. Don’t get me wrong, I do like the chicken breast and potatoes version, the beef stew version, and I usually order the rib meat and potatoes version instead of this one, and I like the taste of that version.

They fill you up, only takes a minute to make, and they need no refrigeration so Walmart will ship them to you. This version though, I don’t like it at all. It surprised me that someone said they added pepper, because that is all I can taste.

I do not usually use a lot of pepper in food, so maybe it is just me, but I cannot taste anything but pepper. The other options in this line taste really good, so if you like pepper, this one may be for you.

the mashed potatoes tasted like chef boyardee beef filling from their ravioli, no trace of potato taste which alarmed me so much i double checked the expiration date. the beef is basically the beef you get in progresso beef soup, it’s okay but nothing like the beef that hormel sells in the refrigerated section.

i threw it away after 3 bites and got a heartburn a few minutes later so thank goodness i didn’t finish it. unless you absolutely need food that doesn’t require refrigeration and have no access to eat anything else definitely pass on this.

I recently started trying to eat healthier, and looked into if it was possible to make healthy sandwiches. Turns out it is. this isn’t the absolute best lunch meat for healthy eating, but I’d say it’s pretty high on the list.

The ingredients are simple. It has a nice meaty texture and a bit of chaw. the flavor is also good. I just wish it was a bit less expensive, and had a bit less salt in it. but put a few slices of this on some sprouted grain bread with a slice of organic cheddar, and you can’t get a much healthier sandwich.

I was looking for pastrami. There was none at Walmart, and this was the closest. I was very surprised at the quality for a packaged meat. it’s delicious! Fresh and taste like high quality deli meat. Not too salty and delicious heated.

I love that this a four pack. I love that it arrives at my doorstep, I’m 68 and it’s difficult for me to tote and haul into the house from a detached garage. I love corned beef hash and wish I could have it everyday with a beautiful fried over easy egg and a slice of sourdough toast to sop up the egg yolk.

My entire family loves this brand because it has real substance even after frying it up. Add half an avocado and you’re ready to go.

Nearly 3 bucks is is starting to push it for hash, but if you like it, there’s no easy sub in. With eggs and grits/rice, its a breakfast fav. Best canned corned beef hash although M. Calender roast beef hash is equally good.

I absolutely love this gravy not only around Thanksgiving time but throughout the year. It tastes great but I like to add extra spices and seasoning in it to give a zesty type of flavor. This gravy is great on mashed potatoes, rice, bread or any dish that you want to make.

It’s not too thick or thin and the texture is good. My family loves it a lot and my friends enjoy it as well. Gravy is a basic product in my household especially the beef flavored one because we like it more than the other flavors.

These products look good and my dog likes a few of the varieties. My problem is with the pull tabs on the tubs of Petite Entrees. I have strong hands and it still takes me a few tries and finger grips to grab the tab and try to pull the cover open.

I often just cut the cover open with a sharp knife; but that risks any leftover portions going stall or spilling. Wellness needs to rethink how these can be opened or even creating a larger more economical resealable container that also saves on excessive packaging.

I used to use a rolled-up coil of aluminum foil under whatever I was roasting. Then I discovered these cool silicone roasting racks from OXO. They fit perfectly in my roasting pan. Used them to roast a prime rib the other night — bottom wasn’t soggy, Yay! And after I just popped them in the dishwasher — they came out nice and clean.

I ‘m a beginner at prepping and Mountain House fit the bill. I wanted protein in my stock for emergencies. Seeing that it is good for 30 years I figure if I never need it I can pass it down to someone that does.

I have gone camping and tried some of their meal pouches and they were very good. The only thing about the pouches is that it says 2 servings and I could eat the whole thing. I am not a big person at 120 pounds.

Mountain House really stands out when picking up emergency food or camping. I will definitely buy again. I tell all my family and friends this is the best value of protein meals compared to any of the competition.

This is great stuff! I lead wilderness canoe and backpack treks. I’ve been using Mountain House FD Ground Beef for 15 years and it allows me make my own backcountry meals using ingredients off the store shelf (Knorr Pasta or Rice Sides, etc.

) and thus avoid the cost of the much more expensive pre-packaged FD meals. I advise letting it steep 2 minutes longer than the 9 suggested to be sure it has completely rehydrated. And watch for the rare bone fragment.

Take the cardboard overwrap off, pop it in the microwave as is and if you are single like me, just grab a fork and in less than 4 minutes, it’s all YUM from there! These also have a refrigerator shelf life for about 2-3 months after purchase, so no need to even freeze or dethaw in that time frame either! This item is a favorite of mine, as it is easily prepared and quite tasty. I usually have it along with rice and a vegetable, and find that it goes a long way. The gravy is especially good with the rice.

One can easily use this as a main course for two hungry people, or several meals for one person. My only complaint is that there has been a recent price increase on this item which makes it less of a bargain then it formerly was.

I have been buying these for years. They are actually of great quality. The meat tastes just like something you yourself would make out of a crockpot. It has amazing flavor and its not full of fat. Great for a night when you want a meal but dont feel like cooking microwave it, then make a side of mashed potatoes and green beans and you’re good to go.

I used to love Land O’ Frost deli meat but in the past few years they really started to decline as a product in whole. They used to be high-quality, flavorful, and budget friendly but I will not even purchase anymore because of the decline in quality alone.

Most of the varieties are all processed meat which I can’t stand in itself. I bought the turkey and even after realizing it was processed, figured I’d attempt to eat so I wasn’t waisting the money…gross!!! It was so full of sodium and fillers that it tasted like fake-meat!!! Not sure why this product receives anything above a 1 star. Meat is rubbery and has no taste. Purchased a 1 pound package and slices appears to be processed meat through a tube and cut as small and thin as possible.

I have actually raved over this on the phone with a friend. Smart ones meals are underrated for us ladies or gents watching our calorie intake. I sprinkled a tiny garlic/onion powder on it and it reminded me of my grandmothers pot roast.

I purchased two manhattan roasts in this order. One of them was exceptionally sized, good marbling from what I could see through the package. The other, not so much. The size compared to the other roast was extremely small.

Much smaller then previous manhattan’s I have previously purchased for myself and gifts. Pretty disappointed with this cut in the order.

A beautiful cut of meat with succulent and savory flavor. Marbling provided a nice balance in each bite. The roast was so tender it could easily be sliced with a butter knife. Highly recommend it for a special occasion or holiday.

I was luck enough to have an opportunity to try Merrick Chunky Grain-Free Canned dog food product free. I have two big dogs (Shepherd mix & pit mix) and they can actually be fussy eaters at times. I shared a can between the two, using wet / dry mix method.

The dog food came in large chunks with a gravy with medium consistency. I let them both smell to see if it excited them. There was drool on the floor by the time I served them this new Merrick Chunky Grain-Free Big Texas Steak Tips Dinner Canned Dog Food.

My two gobbled up both their dishes and spent the next 15 min licking their bowl over and over again. I will purchase this in the future and recommend to anyone that has fur babies. Great job Merrick!.

I don’t usually give canned foods to my dogs because this will cause them to not want their dry foods but sometimes I will make an exception if it’s for medicine or just as a occasional treat. I also am picky with choosing foods because I wouldn’t put something in their diet that I would not eat myself so this was a hit for all of us.

I really was happy with the grain-free ingredients and that it has 96% protein sourced from animals so I am comfortable knowing it isn’t artificial. This also has no corn, wheat or soy so all ingredients are okay for easy digestion.

My dogs both loved this but I didn’t think they were going to chew it slowly. They definitely wanted more. I also was grateful for the size recommendation on the label for different ages.

I am a die-hard fan of Better Than Bouillion beef and chicken bases. Not ony are they absolutely delicious – much better than any boxed broth or bouillion cube – but they are far more economical. At Target in my neighborhood, Chicken Better Than Bouillon costs $4.

99 for an 8 oz. jar which makes 9. 5 quarts of broth. Thats 53 cents a quart! At the same Target, A quart of Swanson in a box costs $2. 99 and a quart of the Target brand Good and Gather costs $1. 79! The Swanson is almost 6 times more expensive and the Good and Gather is over 3 times more expensive.

To say nothing of storage space. 9. 5 quarts of boxed broth will take up a lot more space in your pantry than one 8 oz. jar of Better Than Bouillion. I rest my case!.

The prime tenderloin roast was excellent. There was no knife needed to cut the meat; it was so very tender. It was so buttery that it just seem to melt in your mouth. I trust Alan brothers and would not order from anywhere else.
