I received the grill & rib & roast rack from Tryitsampling free for writing a review. I purchased a rack of ribs, seasoned with rub placed on the rack and placed it in my grill pan and cooked on low heat.

The ribs were delicious, fall apart, melt in your mouth. The clean up on the rack wasn’t hard per say but I did have to soak it in hot soapy water for about 30 minutes to get it clean. Which was ok because the ribs were delicious!!! I would recommend this rack for anyone who likes to cook on the grill.

I have owned this griddle for a few weeks now, long enough to give a good analysis. Like a good cast iron pan, this griddle requires care and seasoning. It is steel so if not cared for, it can rust. That said it is a very thick, well constructed plate of steel.

When I ordered it, I also ordered what I needed to season it. From a major online retailer I purchased Crispbee Stick. This product works extremely well for seasoning when applied following the instructions.

I seasoned it twice before use. With seasoning applied I started using this daily to get a feel for how well it works. Each time I use it I preheat in my 2022 Weber Genesis EX-335 for 20 minutes with all burners on low (not using the searing burner).

I really like the large surface. I can cook an entire 1lb package of bacon with none overlapping. I can cook four large (over 8″) pancakes at once. I can grill nine 3 oz smash burgers at the same time with room around each one.

While cooking the smash burgers I simultaneously grilled two packages of hot dogs on the remaining grill area of my EX-335, an toasted buns on the top rack. I heard bacon corn was a thing to do on the griddle so I grilled a pound of chopped bacon at a low temp to render out the fat, then increased temp to high and threw on 3 pounds of frozen corn.

I quickly realized the over half in tall sidewalls could contain the corn, but the oil drain hole was losing corn. A folded piece of aluminum foil solved that issue. 3 pounds of bacon corn was plenty as a side for hosting 20 people.

I would say this griddle is a perfect compliment to your grilling station. Don’t wash this grill with soap and water. Seriously treat it like cast iron. Get yourself a heavy spatuIa for making smash burgers.

I purchased from a major online retailer the “Mercer Culinary Hell’s Handle heavy duty turner/spatula” that is 6″x5″. Its perfect for smash burgers, cutting meat smaller when making fajita’s with its almost sharp edges, pancakes, and pretty much anything that doesn’t require tongs.

Its it great for cleanup too. When done cooking, before the griddle cools down, use the sharp edge to scrape food residue off the griddle. Next grab a couple wet paper towels and wipe it down to steam clean it.

I have added Crispbee Cream to my collection of maintenance items. I squirt it around on the griddle then wipe it with a paper towel to give it a nice thin coating to preserve the finish. If you are storing the griddle after use, don’t let it cool completely.

While still warm, but not so hot you will get burned, lift it out of the Crafted rack, and wipe the outside edges and bottom with a dry paper towel to remove any grease. If necessary use the flimsy plastic scraper that came with your Genesis to scrape off any heavy grease or food gunk.

Just don’t get the outside wet, it will rust. Now you can place it in the grill garage and worry less about grease/oil getting all over everything. I always place it in the same spot with cardboard up against it.

The cardboard can absorb anything I missed with the paper towel and keeps it from contaminating pizza stone, cutting board, or whatever else is stored next to it. If storing long term dont use card board next to it since it can hold moisture.

If you dont expect to use it within the next couple weeks, use plastic instead. Happy griddling!.

This is a great edition to get a flat top option with an already quality grill. Just like any cast iron cookware, take time to season it as directed otherwise you will be out of luck. I used avocado oil for this as it can withstand higher temps.

Since seasoning it, I’ve made bacon and French toast, as well as smash burgers. LOVE IT. Remember to only use a hard plastic scraper as needed for cleaning, but I recommend pouring a touch of water on griddle after use to free any sticky food.

HOT water rinse and then dry and apply thin coat of oil after each use before storing. I will buy more optional grates to try.

I’ve used this griddle got a few weeks now and it has exceeded my expectations. Thus far I’ve made bacon, smash burgers, and philly cheesesteaks -each to rave reviews. The cooking surface is of decent size and heats more evenly than I expected.

That’s not to say there aren’t any cold and hot spots- there are, but its manageable. I find myself closing the grill lid to keep the cook surface temp where I want it, but other than that, its a solid add-on and extended the variety of what I can cook outdoors without buying a blackstone.

Bought this this past summer. It is great for keeping the side shelf on our Broil King BBQ nice and clean. Before I would just lay utensils directly on the side shelf and I would always have to clean it prior to putting the cover back on the BBQ.

Now I just take the mat in when finished and wash it in warm soapy water. It is easy to clean and so far has held up well.

I just picked this up for my pellet and it works great. stays on the lid even when opened and helps with cleaning as the coarse paint finish is hard to clean.

Bought last quarter 2020 been great protection for side shelf very easy to clean. Good no slip surface.

I got this as a gift for Xmas. I have a Weber Genesis II. BBQ Guys Customer service said the rib rotisserie would fit without issue. I did have to remove my Weber burner drip tents (“Flavorizer” bars) to allow for the racks to have clearance when turning.

Kirkland spareribs were slightly too wide and too long for the trays. I could not use all 4 trays at once because the ribs would hit each other while rotating. So I used 2 of the 4 trays so they could rotate freely.

I turned on the rotisserie and set the burners to low. When I took the ribs out, the burners had charred the ribs where they had rotated over the burners. Without the burner drip tents, it created 3 distinct charred areas on the ribs.

It also did not completely cook the ribs, but I had to take them off or risk turning the entire rack into a piece of charcoal. This rib rotisserie seems like it may be better for pellet grills. While BBQ Guys customer service will tell you it’ll fit in the Weber Genesis II, It definitely does not work well with the Weber Genesis II.

unless you like charred ribs. At the end of the day, it’s easier and the ribs come out better by just using my regular grilling grates. It also will be less to clean when you’re done grilling.

Used on a Weber kettle grill and rotisserie. The set-up was so simple it took all of two minutes to complete. Simply slide the rack holder on the rotisserie rod, lock it with two thumb screws and then slide on the (4) rib trays.

I set up a one side charcoal and apple wood burn. I loaded up (4) full racks of baby pack ribs. To say the least, the results were awesome. No more monitoring and rotating racks around the coals. The rotisserie produced the most uniform cooked ribs Imagined.

The BBQ dry rub (free gift with purchase) was a hit as well. I also pre-sprayed the cooking trays with canola oil before cooking so cleanup was as easy spaying them down in the sink.

Sad to say extremely disappointed. Concept looks great, well-made but just not practical. I have a Napoleon Prestige PRO 665 so the size of the grill it not an issue. The width of the shelves are not wide enough to hold the ribs and it could be a few inches longer.

The ribs must be perfectly balanced or they will get hung-up with the other rotating shelves. I believed it cannot be improved, if the shelves were wider then the distance would have to increased from the center of the rotisserie which would make the shelves bottom-out on the grates or bars (even if the grates were removed.

As stated, great concept, well made, just not practical.

This product did exactly what they said it would do. Held a really big Rib Roast and it cooked to perfection. Great product, great price and easy clean up. Anybody that cooks out needs this product. Cooks Big Roasts, Chicken or Turkey and everybody’s favorite Bar B Cue RIBS.

Oh, what can I say. Everyone should jump at the chance and get one of these. I just love mine and would recommend this to anyone. It is well made and so useful in the kitchen and for cooking in the oven for Turkey’s, ribs, whatever you have in mind.

I am very satisfied with this roasting rack. I purchased it for use in the oven, rather than on the BBQ grill and I love it. I cook pork roasts as well as prime rib and it has produced perfect results each time I have used it.

I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a serious piece of iron! It’s big enough to cover both burners so it gets plenty of heat to cook with. It has plenty of area to cook bacon, burgers, or anything you choose. It has a nice deep drip edge so no grease gets away! My wife has wanted one for a while and when this became available I got it for us and very glad we did!! It was preseasoned, but my wife gave it a second seasoning session to make sure it was good to go! And, as always, Lehman’s shipped it quickly and very well packaged to protect it from damage!.

This is the first time I am using a cast iron grill on stove burners. I found it to be quite interesting. I have a gas stove. The grill is large enough to reside over two burners. When it comes to heating, I find that it doesn’t get heated evenly, which is to be expected.

The result was that I needed to constantly switch spots so my food can all get cooked at the same time. This does create some additional exercise for me. I do like the draining grove on the flat side, so my food is not bathed in grease.

Overall, I like the grill for occasional use, but it would be a bit tedious to use daily due to uneven heating.

Before you buy any cast iron cookware be aware of the work it takes to keep it pristine and always ready for use. I like to use my cast iron cookware on my grill. That is why I bought this griddle. When it heats up, it holds it heat, and gives a great sear.

I love cooking burgers fast locking in the juices and giving crispy edges. As in smash burgers. I also love to blacken salmon on this griddle. It also turns out crispy and juicy. I like keeping the fish smells outside.

The uses are endless. But it does require work to keep it clean and seasoned. Read the instructions and you will be satisfied with your cooking results.

Purchased this within the last three weeks. First time I used it I cooked 5 racks of ribs with it, worked beautifully.. the ribs came out perfect!

Nice set for a decent price but came with a broken weld. Kept it since it was part of a gift and did not have enough time to return. Needs better QC to not let a defect like a broekn weld get to the consumer.

It is perfect for ribs and just flip it over and it holds all kinds of stuff from a 10lb turkey to pork shoulders. It lets the smoke swirl around it instead of just sitting on the grill grates.

First time making ribs on our Traeger and they were outstanding. The rib rack worked perfectly!

Feels like a quality product at first but then the stainless paint started to peel off and it began to rust.

Used the rack to smoke some baby back ribs and it worked great! the ribs were tender and moist. after they finished smoking I placed them on the smoker grill and applied the bb que sauce. they were the best ribs I have ever had! the rib rack was very easy to clean.

Great product, I replaced my older, smaller rack when I got the bigger smoker. Sturdy enough to hold a whole rack of pork ribs. A tight fit but enough space to hold beef back ribs.

I purchased this griddle because it is stainless steel and the price was great. I have used it several times on different meats and food and I love using it. The griddle is heavy duty and we’ll made.

Easy to use and clean. You can use it on a gas or charcoal grill,even on a fire pit for hot dogs. I highly recommend this griddle it is versatile and well worth the money. Would make great gifts. Rolando Lig.

Huge amount of cooking space. Great for people who do not want to buy the Blackstone. You really need more than one burner, But with my ten inch banjo burner, the center of griddle does the cooking and the sides keep food warm.

Weighs twenty five pounds, not forty pounds. I will probably get another burner next year to have two heat ranges. I am happy with this purchase.

Im a perfectionist. This thing is under rated. 1/8 SS it does not warp under high heat, its heavy. Its huge. Thats what we want. It has a drain up front folks. The drip edge? Come on. I got a quote from a job shop for the same thing.

$545. Ok i have to say something negative. The handles really do suck. Need verticle spring handles. But buy those seperate have someone weld them on and boom you dont need that blackstone anymore. This is for sure the way to go for you all diy people wondering about it.

I ordered this grill online from Bass Pro December 2020. It took forever to get here, understandably because it was during the height of Covid and with the holidays approaching. When it finally arrived it was warped horribly.

I tried to get Traeger to take it back because I live 80 miles from our nearest BP store. Traeger told me that I had to take it back to where I purchased it, and they wouldn’t exchange or give me a refund.

So, back to Bass Pro and the return lines were horrible an 1hr and 20 min wait. No Lie, it was horrible at the Rancho Cucamonga store. I finally received my money back and then shopped there for another grill which I purchased the Lodge, made in America, not China as the Traeger Grills are manufactured with no quality control.

Does exactly what it says on the packaging. Great size and works a treat.

The griddle is shaped like a banana out of the box. Im not the first person to have this problem. Ive seen other reviews with the same issue.

Inexpensive and food doesn’t stick and easy to clean. However it’s a solid sheet and doesn’t allow for grease to separate from food. Burgers and chicken were much greasier than without the mat but it didn’t stick to the grill.

So, I would recommend for grilling with items with less fat.

This product worked as good as expected, food didn’t stick at all. But when it came time to clean the mat it was a bit of a bummer. The grease & juices that was burnt on was hard to get off with manual cleaning.

The fact that the mat was black when wet you had a hard time seeing all the dirt until you dried it then you would see some spots and have to clean it all over again. pain in the butt. Maybe cleaning in the dishwasher will bring better results.

I don’t have a dishwasher so that is not gonna help me. Otherwise give em a shot and see what you think.

at first i was suspicious, seemed pretty flimsy, and instructions warned against an open flame. but i used it on a real low setting on my gas grill, and though it takes longer to cook; it’s basically frying in it’s own grease, and is a very moist burger compared to cooking on the grill without it.

i like it, i’m going to try something more challenging than a burger, not sure about the grill mark claim; but i’ve had some browning on my burgers, and they were still tender inside.

Delicious! Very meaty. Will cook longer next time and I wish I had some of the BBQ sauce you used to get when you ordered Xmas gifts at Carson’s. Will order again from Allen Bros. They arrived in perfect condition.

That’s ribs are good, we’ve been to the Carson’s restaurant and had the same opinion then. Good, but not the greatest ribs ever. We prefer the Allen Brothers BBQ ribs and will order those again.
