The only thing that I had difficulty with, was to take the inner pan out of the bottom pan. Pan was hard to grab even with pot holders. Had to use knife to put under pan to lift. Very dangerous procedure.

Chance of pan tilting. Not very safe for an older person to use this pan. Cooking part was fine. Made a good meat loaf.

Ah, finally! I was using a regular loaf pan, but using aluminum foil to suspend the meatloaf over the pan itself. I poked holes in the aluminum foil to have the grease drop into the bottom, it looked so stupid.

On the sides, I built it up so the meatloaf could still cook. It worked, but I felt like I was camping in my own kitchen. To cook traditionally, you have to act fast to get rid of the grease in the loaf pan, or the meat would suck all that grease right back in, and who wants that? Your insert keeps the meatloaf above the grease, the sides help cook the burger meat, and it turns out nice.

I like it when a real cook designs the cookware, I knew I wasn’t the only one that didn’t want the grease in my food!.

In the past I’ve used a regular loaf pan for meatloaf but had to suck up the grease and liquid with a baster throughout the baking process. I like how it has a approx. 1 inch space between the pans for the grease and liquid to drain.

Meatloaf turned out perfectly moist. This pan seems to be of high quality, shouldn’t rust, and is easy to hand wash. The size is perfect for 1 lb. hamburger plus additional meatloaf ingredients.

I liked this pan so much I bought a second one for my daughter. It definitely does the job of draining the meatloaf of unwanted fat. When done, serving is super simple – just lift the handled tray up and out of the pan & slide the meatloaf onto your serving platter.

So. I got the pan for Christmas 2012. so it’s not a year old yet and have used it about 10 times. Today while using it after removing the meatloaf to a plate to put the pan in soak to wash. well that’s when my mind changed and turned to being very disappointed.

The layer of coating is coming off the bottom, yes even thou it’s been sprayed. Which means that possible one of my family members has ate the coating stuff which I am sure is very harmful. So now the pan is in the garbage and i’m not satisfied anymore.

Really sucks because my meatloafs were finally turning out right!.

i didn’t see the tv spot so??? i made a meatloaf in this first day. my boyfriend likes dry meatloaf (yucky) so i made one. he was ecstatic. what i am wowing about is the grease. there was a ton!!!! maybe even a whole cup of it.

i pulled it from the oven and saw some grease still seeping from the meatloaf. i took the meatloaf out of the pan using the handles and it was fine, dry, firm, no grease???? you could actually just use this to make a meatloaf to put in the fridge solely for sandwiches.

in fact, i think i will. guys love dry firm meatloaf sandwiches which they then cover in ketchup,lol!. when they say perfect meatloaf pan they really mean it:).

I loved this pan when I first started using it. It really was perfect for meatloaf, to keep the grease away from the food, but when the nonstick coating started coming off in the dishwasher or even with a good soft scrub sponge, it was time to toss it.

I’ve only ever cleaned this by hand or in the top rack of my dishwasher. I used it maybe 4 times before coating started coming off the bottom. Didn’t worry about it too much bc was using the insert so food wasn’t touching the bottom.

Used it one more time and now coating flaking off while using sponge to clean it after soaking it in warm soapy water. Not worth it unless you plan on only making meatloaf a few times in your life.

This is THE best Meatloaf pan I have found. I have had three “As seen on TV” meatloaf pans in the last 6 years. They were all made of lightweight pressed formed carbon steel, which if, and when, the thin nonstick coating wares off, which it will, they rust quickly.

This meatloaf pan is made of Heavy-duty, much thicker, guage steel. The coating is thicker also. The finish is much smoother than the “as seen on TV” type. You want a good high quality, heavy-duty, meatloaf pan that can also double as a Bread pan, this is the one you need.

Wow! thought this was a clever idea, and seemed well made, so I ordered it. Made meatloaf in it straightaway and it worked perfectly. Clean up with a sponge and soapy water; less effort to clean than my high end stainless sauce pans.

This loaf pan is well made, sturdy and the best non-stick kitchen tool I have used in 40 years. I will be getting another one.

I bought this pan from a chain store. I didn’t notice a couple of chips in the bottom pan before I used it. The inside pan is doesn’t leave enough room to drain. The fat ends up coming back up into the meatloaf.

This is a nice idea, but it doesn’t work great and because of the chipping in the drain pan I really can’t use it to bake bread. I emailed wilton customer service and didn’t get a response after showing pictures.

I thought there was a warranty. I guess I’m just out of luck.

I had a similar meatloaf pan that I had purchased from “As Seen On TV”. It was fine but through the years it had rusted. You also had to be careful taking it out of the oven. The rack handle was higher than the loaf pan itself.

You naturally wanted to grab the wrong handles to remove from the oven. The handle on my new pan are the same level as the loaf pan, so no mistaking the wrong handle. You have to grab both. Also the new pan feels heavier and the non stick is much better.

I highly recommend this pan.

Had this meatloaf pan a few months and only used it about 3 times. The last time I cleaned the pan, the bottom pan had the non-stick coating started to peel off. Which in turn will cause the bottom pan to start rusting.

I hand washed the pan. I am really disappointed that the coating did not last. I liked the idea of having the two pans that grease drains into the bottom.

Cooked up a delicious, non-greasy meatloaf, just as it was supposed to. BUT one of the reasons I picked this pan over others was that it was supposedly “dishwasher safe”. It wasn’t until I got it home that I found, on the UNDERSIDE of the packaging, that yes, it’s dishwasher safe but only if you don’t use the pods.

Which I use. Kind of annoying. I don’t mind hand-washing it; that’s not the point. The point is that putting “Dishwasher Safe” on the outside and then adding “except it’s not really dishwasher safe” in a spot you won’t see till you get it home is kind of deceptive.

I kept it, of course, and I do like it and will use it again many times.

This meatloaf pan is the best pan I ever had! When you take your meatloaf out of the pan you take the ends of the top layer with your mittens on and place your meatloaf on a plate or serving plate. You then will see the left over grease in your pan that grease you don’t want.

And a perfect meatloaf every time!.

I love the color and design of these plates. The customers love them also The fireball color looks great in our restaurant it goes with our surrounding color scheme. We have a combination or different plate colors so out customers get a different color each time.

It always looks like something new and fresh.

We got plenty of these in different colors. Food looks great on it and the look is cute but they get scratched very easily. Also, if you pit them in the microwave, the top layers gets scorched.

Great for dining service and comes in different colors. Bowls are very light and and durable. I’ve used them for over 2 years now. Good for restaurants and events. Can also handle high heat for warming soups.

I love meat loaf and mashed potatoes! This pan is such a great pan for meat loaf and I made a banana bread this morning. The drain insert has changed the way my meat loaf turns out! No grease and the look and taste is consistent through the whole meat loaf.

This size pan is perfect. I wash this right after I take the meat loaf out. The pan cleans so easily with warm water and a soapy dish cloth. Be careful to not use metal utensils. It will scratch the nonstick coating.

If you wash it under warm water and use a soapy dish cloth, it just takes seconds. And, it cleans right off. Then dry it off and you still have a brand new looking pan. It takes no time at all. I would not let it soak.

You can’t really beat Mainstays. I love their products.

I love the shape, it’s perfect for my bread and the glass is great ! no more wondering if it got clean or you scrape off some of the material into your food.

This is a nice size and I really like the product and quality. Especially like that the sides come straight up – on some of the loaf pans, the ends with the handles slope rather than coming straight up.

They say that helps with removal of the item being baked, but I don’t want that sloped end on my bread. Unfortunately, I ended up ordering this product from another supplier because I ordered this item twice and it arrived broken both times.

These glass loaf pans were only wrapped in bubble wrap and then placed in a plastic mailing envelope. They were not placed in a box with extra packing and so they were broken during shipment. The first time, you could hear the glass moving around in the bag.

Didn’t open either shipment due to broken glass.

I like the glass bread dishes and I thought I’d like the open handles to help with grasping them. The handles work fine but add wasted space in the cabinet. While they bake evenly and cleanup nicely – the problem is they do not stack and I hate hearing the grind of glass on glass.

On a side note; I have actually found I like the small disposable aluminum pans for little loaves – approx. 5×3 or so.

I had a problem with a meatloaf recipe topping stain my Wilton non-stick metal loaf pan. The mustard in the sauce for the top caused a stain. So, I decided to buy a glass loaf pan as I really like my Pyrex 9″ x 13″ glass baking pan, which is nice, thick glass and cleans easily.

I ordered the Pyrex Easy Grip loaf pan and was disappointed when it arrived and I saw that the glass was much thinner than my other Pyrex baking pan. So, I looked for an old-style Pyrex loaf pan. I saw that many sellers were asking ridiculous prices for one loaf pan; one was asking $60.

00 or some $30. 00, etc. , ridiculous! I found this order which was in U. S. dollars but two loaf pans in the old style thick glass for $18. 00 U. S. so a much better deal and they shipped pretty quickly and the shipping was reasonable as well! Good purchase and happy to have them.

The bowls have a good weight that speaks to the quality, but aren’t too heavy when filled with heavier foods. Makes for great portion control of pasta/rice and protein with a side of veggies, or even soup or a sizeable salad, all in one great bowl.

I also have my morning oatmeal or yogurt with granola and a side of fruit in these. I got in the habit of chopping up proteins and larger foods at the counter for easy eating when nannying kiddos, so the traditional “knife and fork meat and potatoes” style of eating has never been my thing.

For casual dining, I use these daily and was so glad to be able to get a great set at this price.

Bowls are larger then I expected, But work great . They clean up nice, are microwavable, could use for baking, holds the heat. And will break, made from ceramic’s I rated them five stars.

Just received these and during washing, I noticed some scuffs off the rim that I couldn’t remove. I also tried to stack them and that was difficult. They aren’t all the exact shape. Strange and Annoying!.

I bought this to use in a pumpkin for Halloween. It doesn’t put out as much vapor as a larger fogger, but I like that what it’s putting out is only water vapor; and that I don’t have to buy fogger fluid.

Oh you will need to arrange a setup to blow the mist out of the pumpkin with a small fan. Maybe too much for some people, I just like making things.

I love this little thing! It creates a great deal of fog for such a tiny item. It’s small size means I can put it in just about anything. We’re using it for added humidity and effect in our vivarium for my daughter’s Chinese Water Dragon.

I found this item when looking for a fog/mist effect in a small theatrical production. The director wanted something less than the typical fog machine AND wanted no cords, IE, the effect needed portability across the stage.

I placed this item in a small container of water connected to a small inverter powered by a gel cell battery It gave just the right amount of mist and the director (as well as the actors, prop folks – and audience!) all loved the effect!.

I lost all my loaf pans when we moved. Most of what I had were metal p0ans. These glass loaf pans are perfect and you can lift them up to check the bottom to make sure they are getting over baked.

Just the right size for my turkey meatloaf. I do a 2-2.5 pound meatloaf and this fits it perfectly. Also, cleans up nice!

The capacity of the inner pan (where the loaf goes) is about half the capacity of a typical loaf pan. I thought capacity may be a LITTLE less because of the inner “drain pan†– this is losing half.

So making a typical meat loaf recipe would require using this twice. The capacity was not obvious on the website, I was surprised when it artived in the mail. Returning it to the store.

It cooks meatloaf well. Cleans up great. Great non stick surface. Spray with Pam before putting meatloaf in it. Love that the grease is drained away from meatloaf so well!

Dislikes: Flavor, texture, and appearance of the veggie loaf. I have sampled so many meat alternatives since I became a vegetarian 20 years ago. This is an utter fail. Even the veggies and mashed potatoes are a sad attempt.

The gravy must have bypassed recipe development, slipped past quality control on a weekend. How did this product receive any positive reviews? Avoid Amy’s Vegan Frozen veggie loaf and keep the $4. 79 in your pocket.

I love these! Such a good, quick, easy meal! I typically add some fresh ground pepper, seasoning, and hot sauce, but it’s a great base and I feel good after eating this meal. I wish they were a tad bit more affordable or a little larger portions for the price.

These go quick in my freezer. Will continue to buy! Great for vegans, plant based, lactose intolerant, etc.

This is my go-to frozen meal. The taste and texture are spot on and the gravy adds a true comfort meal touch. It’s a feel good type of meal that is filling and tasteful. It’s an enjoyable flavorful meal.

The loaf is desirable and is a great alternative to a meat loaf. I’ll definitely be purchasing and eating this again in the near future.

I got this to try for dinner at work one night and left break hungry. Not because the portion was small, but I could not stomach the taste, texture, or quality of the meal. The Alfredo noodles were non existing (I literally counted 5) and the “chicken” was scary to sight and taste buds.

I won’t be trying the other new meals,but will just stick w the Swedish meatballs or other brands $1 meals for when I have to work overnight to make sure I don’t go hungry.

These are is so good! I love that it came with 2 main entries and both were perfect! The grilled chicken was actually grilled and not just a patty. The ravioli was packed with cheese. I’ve tried many before, but this one has rich flavor seasoning that I couldn’t get enough of! The chicken came with a delicious pesto sauce and I even had enough to dip it in with each bite.

Love them! I wanted melamine plates to replace older ones beginning to scratch. Most of the ones that I found had patters over all the plate. I wanted a white plate with decorative border and found these at a great price.

This is a follow-up from my previous post about the Rogue olympic cast iron 5 pounders. Since the 5s were so good, I went ahead and ordered Rogue cast iron 10s and 25s. The box for my 10s arrived opened and with one of the plates missing.

I used Rogue’s contact form on a Saturday had a reply from Mike minutes later, then had a replacement in 3 business days. That’s above-and-beyond great service, in a pandemic no less. I wouldn’t ever expect that, but want to give credit where it’s due.

The finish on the 10s looks great, just like the 5s. Weighed on a good scale, they were within 0. 4 lbs of the stated weight. One of the 10s needed a little smoothing of a minor bur in the hole, but not bad at all.

My good scale doesn’t weigh heavier things so couldn’t weigh the 25s as accurately, but my cheap bathroom scale tells me they are exactly 25 lbs. One of the 25s had some rust and the box it came in looked like it had been left in a puddle at some point during its journey here.

Rogue does a good job packing these in thick cardboard boxes and then in plastic bags, and then thick plastic straps around all of it. But life can be rough for heavy plates during the shipping process.

In my case the cardboard and plastic had both been compromised during the journey, so water got into one of the plate packages. At first I thought it might be a problem, but luckily, it was only surface rust, and it cleaned up easily with a nylon brush and oil.

Now it looks better than new. A nice thing about cast iron plates is how resilient they are. Rogue seems to be consistently very accurate with the diameter of the collar opening on all of the 8 cast iron plates I’ve received.

These cast iron plates fit snug with very little wobble compared to non-Rogue cast iron plates. Assuming you’ve got a quality barbell, I think this is a good reason to stick with Rogue for cast irons.

This is one of the areas where there is a clear difference, at least in my experience so far. For the 45s, I went with the deep dish iron plates, and write about those separately on that product page.

But want to mention that the Rogue cast iron plates pair nicely with their deep dish plates. While the finish is a little different, they are all black plates and work well together on the bar. Since they don’t make deep dish change plates at this time, and Rogue’s other machined plates are all gray, these cast iron plates are an ideal pair with them if you are wanting to stick with the same color of plates (black).
