20 Best Shoes For Teen Boys (2023 Updated)

These are super nice looking shoes. The different textures/materials add a bit of fun to the all-white style. I usually wear a 6. 5 but I ordered 6 and they got perfect. Most Air Forces’ aren’t that comfortable but I get so many compliments on these! High quality materials and feel, but not comfy.

Loved these shoes! They are so nice and comfy to go out to the mall or when I am hanging out with friends. Had a small problem with the width since I have wide feet, but once I loosened the laces they felt so much better!.

The sneakers are very nice but very narrow. My grandson could not get his foot in the shoe. Please consider wider sneakers for wider foot children.

I’ve worn these multiple times now for a lot of walking and had no problems. I wore them with no-show socks. I struggled trying to figure out what size to get bc I also have a pair of Vans platform slides that I had to order down (size 8) a size.

I wear an 8. 5/9, usually a 9 in flats. For these the size 8. 5 were perfect even with a pair of no-show socks. I do not have narrow feet or wide they’re pretty average. I have a high arch and suffer from plantar fasciitis often and the first time I wore these for a lot of walking I was dealing with a bout of plantar fasciitis.

These provided plenty of arch support for me (no additional arch support/inserts used) and I never had any pain even though I was on my feet for a long time.

The smell. Oh, the smell of a fresh shoe. The unboxing is always a wonderful stage as you get the first glance but the smell takes you along to another land, filled with flying unicorns and fresh shoes that grow from the cabbage patch.

This shoe, however, exceeds all others. Soft from the ball of the foot to the tips of the toes, it hugs you into a false sense of something like hovering. The plump cuffs snuggle up gently to your ankles in a manner akin to how you would imagine a calf does to mother cow.

To top it off, you look even cooler wearing them than you do holding them.

The shoe came in a not perfect condition, and I did not realize and wore it just once and when I told JDSports about it all they said was “too bad you wore it already”. So I find that the QC did not even do their job right and also a bad way of handling the case.

I did not know I had to inspect every part of the shoe before wearing a brand new shoe and thought that it had a defect to it. I thought I could have trusted the company and its QC to do a proper job but I guess I was wrong about that.

Also, the shoe has no grip so when the floor is wet the shoe gets slippery. I hope the company would do something about it for both my defective shoe and the grip of the shoe.

I am highly disappointed. I ordered some Nike shoes for my son and I received WORN SHOES AND TWO DIFFERENT SIZES, one 12c and the other 13c. The box says 12c which is what I ordered. But to send me worn shoes when I paid for brand new shoes… and let alone two different sizes is totally unacceptable.

I barely opened the box to have my son try them on and I see this… yes I do have the receipt as well. First time ever ordering from this company as well. I recorded a video but It shows I’m only allowed to post photos.

I was looking for a nice pair of Nike shoes for my 10yr old daughter. She likes pink like most girls do. Unfortunately, the hot pink ones have light blue on the sides and on the top. So then, I saw the light pink ones but they are combined with an awful GREEN!!! come on!! Nike, you gotta make those color combination better or do not combine at all.

Just pink and white would have been perfect for most people!! Hopefully the colors next year are better, I really like the style of the shoe.

So my husband bought these and its a great choice because of the leather part. Our daughter is very active and is always jumping in mud or playing in the dirt. The only thing I don’t like is the color, white gets dirty so fast.

But these shoes are quality and have lasted us a while. We bought them 5 months ago. They have some wear to them, but nothing like the cloth material or Blinky light up shoes. Those ones don’t last.

Got these in black for my son. It’s good because they don’t have laces so he can put them on himself and doesn’t have to worry about tying laces throughout the day. The only thing is if you push down /step on the back of the shoe as if they are not fully on your foot (son’s first time putting on sneakers by himself) they will start to crease and remain like that so you have to be mindful in pulling up the back.

Other than that these are great sneakers. And they are true to size. Bought on sale. Kind of expensive at regular price though.

I bought these for my 8yr and he really likes them. He said they are comfy and don’t make his feet sweat. I personally liked them because of the color and appearance. They hide dirt well so I don’t have to wash them every weekend they feel light weight and look good.

I will buy another pair in different colors.

Bought these for our 11 year old son who’s very happy with them. Comfortable to wear , not tight across the top of his feet like some we’ve Bought before. Apparently very stylish lol. Only negative issues are the laces seem a bit thin and also it will be difficult to clean the trainers if they get dirty.

Other than that extremely happy with them.

My son could not warn them even once. I ordered 2 pairs OF sneaker different FROM STRIDE RITE in XW and w sizes. unfortunately AN XW not fit at all and they are made of a very hard material. i CAN’T REALLY TELL WHY THEY MARKED XW, THEY LOOKS LIKE regular.

I could not return them because I did not have time. ANOTHER PAIR WAS GOOD AND SIZE W FITED PERFECT.

My son has wide size feet, and it is hard to find shoes that fit his feet. Stride rite is only store that I can rely on to find comfortable wide shoes for my son. We have tried many stores in many brands.

Stride Rite is the best. This style in wide size fits my son comfortably.

The tongue and strap of both shoes started falling apart after only 1. 5 weeks! A part of the tongue tore off one shoe, and the second had tears. The threads came off both straps. Stride rite have a gift card for the same amount once I sent a message to customer service.

Also the shoe rubbed on my son’s heels and I had to put in heel pads to make it fit. I bought a different stride rite and no issues so far.

I’ve been a Air Max 90s fan since middle school, and when I seen Nike was bringing them back I was super excited! These are one of the classics that every Nike or sneaker lover appreciates. I bounced between a few colorways before ultimately deciding on these because of the laces haha.

They really are so much nicer than the pictures show! They came all laced up and ready to go, I just looked them to my liking and that was that. As usual my only complaint here is the width, they seem to run much more narrow than other same size sneakers.

I have yet to find any and offer a wide width so I order a size up and that usually does it. If you’ve never owned a pair of these I would absolutely suggested recommend that you give them a shot! Aside from being stylish attractive and comfortable theses sneakers just don’t die.

I may or may not have a shoe problem here and have numerous pairs of air maxes some eight or nine years old that still look pretty much new. They do not wear down easily, they are easy to clean and keep up with and even when they do finally get a worn look to them they still look good and Support your feet so you’re not in pain at the end of the day.

They’re great for running or any physical activity as well as every day more relaxed wear. I will definitely buy more of these shoes and I have recommended them many times to many people. These are absolute must haves for any sneaker heads, athletes or Nike fans.

I absolutely love these kicks. They are So comfortable, I literally wear them all day. I am on my feet at work 12 hours a day and I also have diabetes so the well-being of my feet is very important to me.

These shoes definitely help lower the swelling in my feet that I used to experience with other shoes. It feels like a protective cloud surrounding my feet. The best thing about them?? Hello?! I get sweet compliments on my color-coding. I think everyone should at least own 1 pair of airmax’s. Try them, I promise you will not regret it!!.

I was looking for some comfortable shoes and decided to get these but in youth size. I made the best decision do so, they are so comfortable the color everything matched and looked like the photo. Plus purple is my husband favorite color and when he say them on my feet he got excited because he realized they had purple in them.

Definitely satisfied with this purchase and looking to buy more in different colors in the future.

Simple and fresh design that brings out your style and gives you a clean look. I personally would wear these to meet friends and family but also could be worn just to kick around in as a casual daily shoe.

Only one problem is the fact that they can attract dirt because of how white like snow they are, however, a bottle of “Crep Protect” would work just well to keep that dirt away. 10/10 would recommend and will be buying more than once.

I think I have an obsession. Before buying nike AF1’s, I wore Vans and Converse and that kind of stuff. But I always felt they were very low if you know what I mean. There was no barrier between my feet and the ground basically.

These shoes have a good amount of sole to them, theyre not flat against the ground like the others. Theyre very comfortable and LOVE how many colors they come in. They look great with literally everything, sweats, jeans, shorts.

I wear a size 7 and buy a 7, no issues with tightness or being too big. They run true to size for me, but I do have small feet. Im constantly checking what new colors come out because I like having variety.

Was an easy process from acceptance to shipping to arrival. I still believe that they should be shipped in a box not plastic satchel.

Black part of the shoe reminded me of a black glitter stick. Just wasn’t a fan of the material.

The solution to this problem? Buy shoes that are big enough to fit your kid’s feet now! I bought these in a bigger size than the shoes I bought 6 months ago, and they fit my kid’s feet! Now those feet are clean and protected! Also, these say “Mega Craft” on them, and have a blocky pattern reminiscent of Minecraft! Kids love Minecraft! Neat trick, Skechers!.

Ordered the black in size 6 to begin with as a 6. 5 and followed the advice to size down. I’m a standard width. If you want to follow the sizing advice. fine. For me personally I don’t like my footwear to ‘just fit’.

I sent the size 6 back and ordered the 7. Ordered silver and black in a 7 and they are better for me (bit of length – don’t look like a just fit). I love the silver bling and the black are a classic with a bit of a twist.

Very comfy. On a less than delicate note they tend to get a bit moist so wash or baby wipe regularly. I would imagine they’re fab for spa and pedicure if you get the chance. Summer slipper , abroad lightweight suitcase multitasker (when we get the chance).

4 stars as it cost me to incur return postage for sizing advice.

I bought these to replace a two year old pair of Sketcher’s silver sliders with a flower on top which are still going strong. I liked the look of the softer sole and the strap adjustment in this style I am a 6-6.

5 and buy a 5 or 6 in Sketchers depending on style. I ordered both sizes as these looked roomier. Both sizes fit but I settled on the 6 this time. They had the edge in comfort. I am not a particular glitter fan in shoes but these are very pretty in silver.

For me they are simply bliss! Walking on air! Not as dainty as my previous pair but much springier and the ability to adjust the straps might be great in the heat. Perfect! (Would love a pair in white another time).

I haven’t worn this pair much but so far I like the flyknit feel. I sized up a half size since I have wide feet and they’re fine. I wish Nike made more wide width shoe. I definitely like the overall look though I originally wanted all white.

The swoosh is a creamy light yellow shade & the rest has a slight gravel gray speckled look. Overall a good shoe that I would recommend.

What do you want for your birthday, I asked my daughter. Trainers please and they must be Nike Air Force!! But don’t you already have lots of these trainers? Maybe – but you can never have enough, they are sooo comfortable!!.

I have to say they do look smart and are very reasonably priced, so I gave in and bought her another pair. She is absolutely delighted, oh and just to put this into context my daughter is not a teenager but 39 and says she will always wear these trainers, so thank you.

Perfect fit . Granddaughter loves them. Comfortable, perfect for school days and all around walking and running. Made well and seems like they will last.

My boy loves these, great fit, he a big foot Larry, and nearly 5, so super simple to put on and off him self. They looks so good to me & he thinks so too. He absolutely love wearing them! Size and fit are good, with one Velcro strap at the top.

No lace tying and they stay on the foot, so much so he has take them of properly. No kicking them off and flinging them threw the room. I would buy again. Longevity, wear and standing up to kids play, it’s to early to see if they can last well.

These shoes are well worth the money! They are great quality. I only put DC Shoes on my 2 year old. He has been wearing the same DC shoes for over a year and they are still in great condition! Highly recommend! Remember, while your children are growing its best they have great shoes and not crappy $10 kmart shoes!.

Our oldest son has had the elastic lace dc’s since he has his first real shoes and they never let us down! The elastics have never broken and he’s a very outdoors and busy boy. They are great to as they can slip them on and off as go! Size is true to size we find.

My journey of footwear for my son has been such a challenge until now! Michael has special needs which require him to wear AFO’s but, also needing two different sizes. Your company provides different sizes of the same style which made it easier to purchase the right sneaker we are looking for.

Many times I would find a style in size 5/6 for boys and the other size 3 for kids/toddlers maybe in a similar style but, sometimes making me choose a 1/2 size up, because it was the only one available that matched.

The design of your product having both the zipper & tie makes it easier for a true to fit comfort for my son with or without the AFO’s. When he wears the sneakers without the AFO’s, I just put the insert back in and tie it a little more snug for a better fit.

I ordered these shoes for my almost 5 year old son. He is on the autism spectrum and he toe walks a lot. He had regular high tops to help prevent the toe walking and his pre-school teachers told me they were very hard to get on his feet.

I was aware of shoe kids company already because I ordered boots from them last year (which were awesome as well). So I looked on their website and saw these. I ordered two pairs. They are awesome!! I am very happy with my purchase!! First of all they showed up quickly.

Second of all they solved the problem of high tops being hard to get on. They are still threaded with shoelaces so that you can tighten/loosen them as needed. They thought of everything! Also can use the laces to teach your child how to do up laces.

Really the best of both worlds. Shoe kids has specific toe walking prevention shoes, but I thought I would start with these instead. They definitely help my son walk more flat footed. My son also has a wide foot which was what led me to buying from shoe kids in the first place.

Shoe kids has great options for kids with wide feet. I got the shoes in an 11 wide and they are perfect. Their prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend!.

Bought these for my daughter and thought the tick was grey! When they arrived i was suprised to find the tick is in fact holographic! Better than i expected and daughter “over the moon” as stand out! Pics dont do these trainers justice! Look fabulous on! Xx.

Perfect summer trainers for my son. Only thing is I brought 3 different pairs and the boxes came battered!! The truck must of been in a accident before delivering them and my package was used as an airbag! Lucky I wasn’t giving them as gifts.

The trainers where perfect condition though so It shows how sustainable they are.

I got these shoes are they fit perfectly. I was surprised that they are actually more comfortable than the regular air force 1. The buckle looks like a cheap plastic but I still love it. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

They are also true to size.

I got these specifically for outdoor running on sidewalks and streets (COVID, no gyms, no treadmills). So far, these are what I was going for and are consistent with what I generally expect in Nikes.

Nice mesh upper with a substantial sole for good cushion and support while running. Because of that support, however, the sole is somewhat bulky. So if you’re looking for anything super minimal and lean, you might feel these are bit wide looking when looking down on top of your foot.

I’ll be interested to see how the mesh holds over time (think flexible net/wire as opposed to soft mesh like on Roshes). My “Just right” size rating is because I, like many others, am consistently a half size bigger in Nike compared to all other sneakers/athletic shoes.

Use these sneakers for fairly high intensity boxing training 5x/week. I was wearing adidas before and the renew runs felt infinitely better. There is a good amount of bounce on the balls of the feet which helped significantly with shin splints from jumping rope.

No more plantar fascia pain. I could workout so much more efficiently with these shoes. I removed a star because of the portion of the shoe that rubs on the back of the ankle. I had to wear a bandaid for a week.

Once the sneakers were broken in I want to live in them. It is worth breaking in just wear a higher sock that’s a bit thicker for the first week. I’m glad I didn’t go up a half size bc they fit like a glove.

So these sneakers are great for running, I run 6 miles a day and can tell you from experience that it is a very comfy shoe especially in the toe area. My older Nike sneakers would literally numb my toenails and these don’t do that at all.

A lot of people are saying here that it causes blisters on the back of your heels and although that is TRUE there is an easy fix – wear higher socks! My sock was sliding down my left foot and I got a blister on that one foot because the sneaker rubbed up against my bare skin.

My right foot had the high sock protection however, and felt fine. P. S. I’m a 6. 5 and I got a size 7 and they fit me well. I think this shoe works different for everyone since there are so many mixed reviews, so I recommend trying them on in store before buying them – that was what I did.

this is my 3rd pair of chuck Taylors, and im not happy with them. yes maybe my feet are difficult to find shoes for, but the inside sole provides no comfort. Like some people said ” u can feel Mother Earth under these”.

So I have to put insoles inside for better support. And I also got size 10 instead of 9. 5 because of my wide feet. The material used overall is hard and gives blisters. Some people also mentioned that these are too pricey for the quality they have.

And I agree as my previous pair started ripping on bottom and water would get in during rain only after 6 month of light wearing. Im currently using shoe stretcher to widen them, it worked a bit but im never buying another pair.

Obviously its only my experience and other people like them. But for me there is only discomfort.

Love the service. Was so much helpful. For sure we would recommend this place to our family and friends. We visit Teo stores that day cause my son’s size in the first one wasn’t available so we got a referral from there to other store, immediately we got from Boise to Nampa they have the shoes ready for my son.

Loved the shoes when I got them in the mail, but they were a whole size bigger! I am a womens size 6 and I put them on and they looked like clown shoes on because they were so big. I did a lot of research and a few reviews (on amazon) states that they were a whole size bigger than your regular size and to size down when purchasing.

However, on Nike. com I didnt find this same complaint so I figured that the amazon shoes where knock off, so I bought from Nike. But this was NOT the case. They are in fact a whole size bigger.

I just placed an order a few days ago & I am still waiting to receive my new Air Force 1s. This will be my 2nd pair. I love them soo much & they look great with anything like dresses, shorts, capris & leggings.

They are very comfortable. I’ve had my other pair for years & they still look ok but I want a new fresh pair. The majority of the sneakers I see on people of both genders, of any & all races, ages & including celebrities are white Air Force 1s.

I only wish they would make these classics with Bungee laces also. I have injuries that makes it hard to bend to tie them but I have found a solution. Think about adding Bungee laces to these classics I’m sure they would still sell at a high rate.

So in the meantime way to go Nike. keep making them!!! Remember on May 22, 2022 Belinda Pugh suggested making these classics with Bungee laces. I will save a copy of this review just in case. Much love to you Nike.
