👟 FITVILLE WALKING SHOES REVIEW 👟 I was asked to give an honest review by Fitville (an international company using cutting edge science to create their shoes). I am not in the business of giving a good review in exchange for free gifts-so this is a honest as it gets! 👟 As I had not heard of Fitville I was slightly sceptical (were they connected to Farmville?😅) but my scepticism was proven to be unfounded! 👟 I have suffered some foot issues over the years – a bunion removal operation, plantar fasciitis and achilles tendon issues.

👟 Although I have a fairly small bone frame my feet however are quite wide. I’ve often had to go to the men’s section to find trainers as women’s sizing can be too narrow in the toe area for me. In other words these shoes are designed with the wider foot in mind wide2E/ extra wide4E.

👟 So when Fitville asked me if I was interested in trying their shoes I seized the offer with two feet😁and can I say I have not been disappointed! 👟 When I put on these Rebound Core (woman’s) in sandy grey – (they do a Gent’s range also) I actually did not take them off for the entire day! It was as if I had worn them for months! There was no breaking in period at all.

I also loved the rubberised non slip soles especially when walking out in the Scottish rain. 👟 These shoes are equipped with wide toe boxes, patented PropelCoreTM EVA soles, and shock-absorbing pads, I literally felt I was walking on air with the cushioned inserts provided.

They also felt very light to wear. 👟 Most of all I love how stylish they are! I wondered would they have the look of shoes designed for the ermm. elderly. but not at all! In fact I had to prevent my daughter (24 yrs) @lookswithlaura from acquiring them for herself! 😂 👟 Can’t wait for summer walks here in the Highlands of Scotland with these stylish and comfortable shoes.

I have Multiple Sclerosis which means I have very strange feet that I can not wear most shoes. I can no longer walk on sandy beaches as too painful and my balance is not good either so a supportive shoe is vital.

3 years ago I broke my leg then Covid so my movement was greatly inhibited. I have only found one brand of trainers I can wear and have lived in them for over a year now. I had looked at Fitville and thought it might be worth a try and finally I have.

I bought them about a month ago and have slowly started using them, day at a time for a few hours to get my over sensitive feet used to them. I wore them for a couple of days at a time a few times and now for the last 3 days continuously! I walked over a patch of land, grassed but uneven today that I haven’t done for 3 years with our dog.

A bouncy Labrador pointer rescue. I find I can drive much better in them and can feel the soles of my feet too and wiggle and move my feet/toes. I actually forgot to take my cane and only realised when I thought something is missing! I went without it even when I realised.

Not for too long but trainers have a wide supportive sole which I realised are easier to stand with that extra support. So if this is how a person with a real physical challenge can be made to feel, just try them.

I am now going to try the trainers you don’t have to bend to do up laces and are quite cute too. Nice colours. and use them as supportive slippers. I am so glad I took the plunge and bought them. Dark blue rebound core ladies.

I bought ladies 6 and they are true to size. Don’t be tempted to size down because wider. I have been 6 all my life, 39 European. And the extra width gives more movement to my feet. I have a smaller foot by half a size but bought to fit the larger foot.

I hope this review may help others with weird feet, neuropathy etc. Those with fabulous normal feet, these will be just amazing! Thank you for reading, i hope this helps. To be able to walk again on land I have not been able to for 3 years gives such hope and pleasure.

I was dubious about even receiving my order from this company as after i had placed it, i read lots of negative reviews. They did take a little longer than i expected to arrive, but i am finding them comfortable.

I have a couple of issues that need particular footwear. I’ve been wearing altra shoes for some time as they have wide toe box but i felt that the zero drop feature has exacerbated and possibly even created plantar fasciitis.

I haven’t been for a long long walk yet in the fitville shoes, as i’m trying them out about town, and short distances. So far so good. For the first time in definately a few years i am relatively pain free.

The shoes seem to be well constructed, supportive through the heel. They are however a little too wide for my narrow foot. The reason i look for a wide toe box is i have a morton’s neuroma that needs space to feel comfortable in the toe area, and these are just a little wide for the mid foot region.

I usually take a 6, and i ordered the 5. 5 which have plenty of room.

I received the shoes without the inside Comfort Insert that is part of and belongs inside of the shoes. I called customer service and asked if I could be sent the missing Comfort Inserts to the shoes, and I was told that the only thing I can do is to go online and proceed to return the shoes.

I said that I was hoping that we would be able to remedy the situation by them merely sending me the Comfort Inserts. I was put on hold, and when the rep came back she told me that her supervisor said I could go online and purchase the inserts.

I asked why would I do that when it is part of shoe? (The inserts they have online, are NOT the Comfort Inserts that are a part of this shoe. ) I asked if the supervisor understood the problem. The rep said yes.

I said this is wrong and asked to speak to the supervisor. I was put on hold for several minutes, the line was silent. I hung up when they started streaming loud music through the telephone because I did not feel like I was going to get anywhere.

I sent an email through their website; however because they do not have a direct email for subjects such as this and I had to choose a different subject, I am not confident they will respond. You can see from the picture on the website what the inside of the shoe should look like – my shoe has a ragged-edge piece of thin white fabric inside the shoe, not the pink Comfort Insert that is part of the shoe.

I use these 608’s as everyday wear. I like the leather exterior finish of these shoes. They hold up to rough work environments, all the others have a nylon mesh exterior which snags and rips. I keep one pair for going out, so they stay looking good.

My other pair I use and abuse, like I said, leather exterior so they hold up. They do have slits or vents half way down each side of the front, so they breathe. I don’t run or jog anymore so can’t comment on that.

Bought directly from New Balance Online because they had my size in stock. It was a smooth transaction. I have wide feet, mens 9 1/2 4E. Been wearing New Balance for decades because they are one of the great tennis shoe makers that offer comfortable wide shoes.

Keep making the the leather exterior shoes like the 608’s New Balance, because they look great and are durable. Thanks.

I’ve worn this style NB shoe for about five years. Usually a new pair every 9-12 months. It’s getting very hard to find shoes that are leather. not mesh. I use them for both work and “Saturday” wear and find them comfortable.

Because they are leather they keep my feet clean, warm and dry. Mesh shoes just don’t work for my every day wearing. My previous style number was difficult to find this time around so I chose this model.

Basically they are equivalent to my preferred model EXCEPT for the soles. These are promoted as “work” shoes and they have a more “indoor” sole pattern. very smooth slip resistant style- not the more rugged walking or sports type of sole.

I will be keeping them mostly because leather sneakers are getting pretty hard to find.

These were my second pair of fit I’ll shoes, first of this model. These are very comfortable and I have no complaints about these shoes as far as the model. I think the rebound cores are a little better feeling than the stride cores.

But, these aren’t bad. Overall, fit villa has fixed my foot pain from a bunion from too many years in narrow heels. My feet aren’t hurting at night anymore and I have noticed my arch is coming back. My only “concern” with this brand of shoes is the sizing is unreliable.

My stride cores are so big my feet slide. My rebound cores fit perfect. The cloud weaves are tight. I advise trying them on and exchanging them till they fit you right.

I loved these shoes from the moment I put them on. No breaking in period required. I have 2 pairs of strides. A black and a blue. The blue is bright and, in my opinion prettier than the black. I used to have narrow feet ( I suppose my heel is still narrow, but the development of large and painful bunions and a hammer toe now means I need wide shoes.

I chose the 4xwide. My first pair were a size 6 in order to leave space for my prescription orthotics and I was very pleased with them. Especially once I put the Fitville inner foot bed on top of the orthotic as it held my heel and stopped any slipping inside the shoe.

But I could see my toe didn’t reach the end by a little way. So I tried a 51/2for my second pair and they are even better. I have also bought a size 6 rebound shoe. I noticed that the 51/2 stride was just a tiny bit longer than my size 6 rebound.

So the rebound is a little shorter than the stride. If it helps, my foot length is 25cm.

pros: the trainers are very comfortable and after wearing them for quite some time I quickly realized I have no foot pain which I usually have with my narrow trainers; I’ve followed the advice from the website and bought half-size smaller than usual and they are a good fit; my foot does fit more stable cons: the trainers are quite heavy, much heavier than my usual sneakers which doesn’t make them ideal for some types of training like for cardio exercises; major con is that they don’t have that extra hole to do a heel-lock type of lacing and by being heavier than usual the heel doesn’t feel really locked and moves around a bit while walking all in all I am satisfied, the major reason I got them to feel more comfortable around the toes and they do; if the holes were added on top to provide the heel lock, that would be amazing.

I tried on so many shoes at DSW the day I bought these. I’d put one on and take a couple steps and they wouldn’t be comfortable. Finally I got to these. I put one on and took a step. I put the other shoe on and took a couple steps.

I took more steps. These were the only shoes I tried on that day that didn’t hurt my feet and were comfortable. I have had these shoes approximately 2 weeks now and I use them as my walking shoes every morning.

I don’t wear them for anything other than “exercise walking” and I love them. I have now bought them in a different color to wear for regular day to day use, but haven’t started wearing them.

Terrible. I’ve been buying these shoes consistently for running 5-10km daily and they were great. Something has changed with the manufacturer and these shoes are now a lot narrower. I usually buy 2 pairs of runners at a time, have been wearing in my pairs over the last few weeks, I’ve been trying different socks and lacing but nothing helps ease the numb toes I am now experiencing daily.

Reached out to Adidas (Australia) for any tips or even confirmation that these have a different fit…nothing. Waste of money and can’t get a refund now.

Runs true to size. I ordered a wide and it was wide enough for my feet. I ended up returning them because they are lined in a synthetic fabric that made my feet sweat just from trying them on. They have a nice strip of brown leather-like fabric going down the back of the heel which should help keep the heel looking clean.

It is also a nice design feature. They are fairly light weight so you will definitely still feel the ground if walking in these. I would not recommend them for a lot of walking but for normal, casual wear, they are nice.

This shoe is great, I don’t leave comments but these shoes are light weight, super comfortable, I like the creame color & they don’t hurt my big toe! Every shoe I tryed on today probably 20 hurt my if toe even the ones I wore into the store, I put these on & they didn’t hurt!! Maybe I could soon get them in a light grey???? Please!!! I Love Them! 🥰🥰🥰.

I absolutely love the cushioning that these shoes provide. This is actually my second pair in a different color. However, this pair does rub wrong on my left foot and now starts to create a blister. Maybe I can find a product to cover that rough part.

Otherwise, I do love them.

Didn’t realise this product would be shipped from China so that meant delivery took longer than usual. Have to say though that it was well worth the wait. I have clubbed feet as a result of childhood polio and it has been geting seriously difficult to find comfortable shoes in my seniorish years but these definitely fit the bill.

From the second I put them on I knew that I was on to a winner. Normally I have to break shoes in even a little and use specialist insoles but these worked for me from day one and I was able to walk without discomfort even without the insoles.

They support my ankles which I need and the extra wide toe box is exactly right for me. Just back froma two week holiday in the Dales and wore these almost every day. A great find. Thank you FitVille!.

I have a complex left ankle problem & have 2 operations with the NHS that have tried to put it right. Every shoe I have tried was uncomfortable, I bought a pair of size 13 extra wide 4E Fitville rebound black shoes, found these to be most comfortable for my hammer toe, bunion & flat feet problems, so have bought 2 more pairs of the high top rebound size 13 , 4 E extra wide shoes also.

My left ankle is due another operation on it in October 2022 which I am having done privately at the Nuffield in Glasgow. with a top foot & ankle surgeon. In the mean time the Fitville rebound shoes with the wide toe box have been a great help.

Pity shoe makers in the UK are not making a product like these?.

These were the first pair of shoes that provided width without having to go up a size. The high top allowed me to fit in my orthotics which I wear due to a fixed ankle joint caused by surgery. My feet are loving these shoes as is my posture.

I would buy another waterproof pair of walking shoes but they only come in 2E. The four stars are not five because I had to wait over three weeks for them to be delivered.

I recently purchased both a 608 and a 624, which I use for different purposes (daily wear vs. aerobic exercising). Both are competent shoes, though they come with DANGEROUSLY long laces that requiring replacing before the shoes can be safely worn.

The 624 has an advantage in that there’s a plastic insert for the top two sets of lace holes. The 608 only has the leather top, and I’ve had laces saw their way through the top holes. The other noticeable difference is that the tongue slits that help keep the tongue centered are higher up on the 608.

The 608 consequently does a slightly better job of keeping the tongue in place than the 624, though at the expense of making it a bit more difficult to loosen the laces to take the shoes off. The 608 and 624 used to have the same soles, but the 608V5 sports a new design.

If it’s better, I wonder why it isn’t also on the 624.

I first bought the 608 v3 size 9. 5 4E brown. They were so good right away I bought 2 pairs. When they wore out, my wife ordered me a pair of v4 brown online, same size. They had a wider sole (bigger footprint), but they still fit great.

The green trim was the only downside. With v4 worn out, I ordered v5 online, again brown size 9. 5 4E. I’ve had them for a few weeks. I wear them almost every day. The fit seems to have changed a little and they don’t feel as comfortable.

To me it feels like more vertical space across the widest part of the foot. Maybe I’m just used to my old ones. Again, my only real complaint is the white trim. What happened to all brown? I don’t really want to have shoes that call out to everyone “Look at me, Look at me!” I want comfort, support, and something that can match with the color scheme I buy them for.

White trim is better than green, but why not a completely solid color shoe?.

I love NB shoes for they’re comfort and wide sizes. I suffered a shattered heel about 3 yrs ago and ever since I have the hardest time with shoes. I’ve bought so many different types of sneakers and boots as well as insoles trying to find something with enough cushion and that isn’t to tight and New Balance shoes are the best I’ve found so far as sneakers goes.

So this 520 is nice and light and has lots of foam but the insole is the worst I’ve seen in any of my NB shoes. What is making this a deal breaker is the padded upper heel area has no support and ever step my heel lifts and rubs.

It’s very cushy and thick but getting my foot in the shoes and it easily collapsed and doesn’t retain its shape. If the back of the shoe was just a tiny bit taller and not so thick I think they would be perfect.

These shoes also run a half size small as my big toe on left foot touches the front of the shoe.

I have been working for a little over a month now, mind you it’s been several years since my last job. So I knew it was going to take some time for my body to get use to working again. But the pain I was getting everyday in my feet was excruciating, by far the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my feet.

I am on my feet for 7 1/2 hours. I figured my feet were hurting so bad due to me not being on them like I use to. As time went on I started to realize maybe it’s my shoes that aren’t helping much either.

I started doing my research/talking to others about what shoes are really good for being on your feet for multiple hours. I got a few brands but one brand I kept hearing over and over, New Balance. My mother in law has a bunch that she orders through Shoes 4 Crews.

One day after work I headed to DSW to buy me a pair of shoes. I tried on a few pairs just to get different feels of comfort. But these one’s we’re the ONE! The level of comfort is truly out of this world.

I felt like I had a bounce when I walked. The first day/night at work with my new shoes had me feeling like a new woman. I couldn’t wait to get home and see if my feet hurt. I have to be honest, I wasn’t too surprised when I came home and took my shoes off with NO PAIN! No pain in my feet at all!!! These are worth every dollar.

I seriously would have paid more for them. I will most definitely buy another pair when it’s needed. Highly recommend. Oh yes, one more thing, I feel like they run just a bit on the small size. I had to get a size 8.

5. Depending on the brand I usually wear a size 7. 5 some times a 7.

I started buying New Balance shoes many years ago at my podiatrists recommendation, given the support and quality. Recently, I have noticed that the fit and quality of the brand has changed. And not for the better.

I need good support and a wide toe box. I have always been able to wear a “wide” New Balance but these felt a bit tight. I made the mistake of wearing them outside for a walk. My feet were in pain after 10 minutes.

Toe box too narrow. It felt like a regular width. I’m so disappointed and can not return because they were worn outside. I will never trust New Balance again to deliver a shoe that is “wide” as advertised.

I really liked to order through Shoe Mall due to their ease of doing so since I live over 2 hours from a shoe store, but will not do so again since I can’t trust the sizing and due to return costs if they don’t fit.

I’ve been a diabetic for 20 years and I didn’t develop Peripheral Nueropathy until 4 years ago, and it has consistently gotten worse since that time. Typically my feet burn up and ache when I have shoes and socks on.

I have wide feet, and have always tried to wear quality shoes in X-Wide widths, which are sometimes hard to find, especially in a style you like. This Winter as i needed a new pair of boots, i began the cycle of ordering and returning boots, which is very time consuming, not to mention the inconvenience.

After ordering and returning 3 pairs of boots, I decided to try my first pair of OrthoFeet Hunter Boots, in Brown, and the Xtra Wide (4E) width. Now after nearly a month with my Hunters, I can honestly say that they are the roomiest, most comfortable boots I’ve owned since becoming a diabetic 20 years ago.

Inside, they are nicely padded and soft, with a very comfortable insole, to which I added the 1/8th inch spacer-insert underneath, to give me the feel and fit that I was looking for. As for the durability, I’ll have to get back with you in a year or so, but I have no reason to expect anything less than great, so its 5 Stars all the way from me! The only thing that that I wish were different, is that they be made in the USA, with USA sourced materials, then there wouldn’t be any supply chain issues.

I have plantar fasciitis and wanted to try out Orthofeet. I needed a good pair of outdoor walking boots for winters. It took a couple of weeks to get the right fit. They fit bigger than other shoes I use.

However with all of the inserts and extra arch supports I ended up with a very comfortable fit. Still a little large which puts them at a 4. But the boot is comfortable, easy to walk with, doesn’t slip, provides solid arch support, is dry and warm and I’ve walked in them several times good distances.

I’m very happy with this purchase so far. After one month they are holding up and we’ve had some wet, sloppy winter conditions. I’d recommend them. But give it time in the beginning, follow the instructions to get a good fit and try the different inserts.

My son has VERY wide feet. During high school we spent an entire day going to shoe stores looking for a pair of dress shoes that would fit his feet. He was so discouraged and upset that we had tried on so many shoes and went to so many stores and he could find nothing that fit that when we eventually found a pair, I paid $186!!! because he was so happy to find shoes and I felt so bad for him.

Needless to say, his feet have not shrunk, so when he wanted boots I was scared I would never find a pair to fit. We tried his normal size shoe in the 4E and they are actually too big! He needs a 1/2 size smaller.

We must always be buying a size a little too large to give him the added width and he didnt need it in these shoes. They are very well made and he really likes them. He wanted more of a hiking boot and the tread on the bottom is a little smoother than he wanted but to be able to find a boot that will fit is amazing.

I have regularly used several pairs of the FuelCell RC Elite V1 the past couple years, loved them, but have had a horrible time finding them the past year or more. I was waiting for the new FuelCell SC Elite V3 to replace it and buy a pair for my fall marathon, but after delay after delay, I finally gave up and ordered a pair of these as a fallback.

When I got them I tried them on and was very disappointed. The whole shoe, especially the front upper which was a mesh so thin and open you can literally see right through it, was so flimsy that I couldn’t justify keeping them, and ended up returning them.

They felt like my feet would burst right through the front on the first use. The support and “springiness” compared the RC Elite was nowhere near the same either. I also don’t know what NB has been thinking in recent years with the look and colors of their shoes.

Not many of their shoes look like shoes that professional or elite athletes would use, like they used to 5-10 years ago, but rather like a 5 year old drew a sketch with crayons. And the colors as well for the men’s models look very effeminate, with hot pinks, bright purples, baby blues, etc.

I’m secure in my masculinity, but these are a bit much for me. I have run 25-30 races a year for the past 22 years, including multiple half and full marathons in each of those years, and I have exclusively worn only NB for every single race.

So this frustrates me. NB needs to give me SOMEthing to work with here. From what I’ve been told, even the new SC Elite has been discontinued already, not leaving much of anything in the way of race flats other than this Pacer.

I cannot recommend this Pacer, but my advice to NB? Keep the SC Elite, make another couple of styles or color options for it, and go back to some of the hot looks for race flats that you used to have 10 years ago.

Such as the RC 5000. Wow were those hot! Or take the look of your cross country spikes XC Seven V4, and make a race flat that has that look. But please don’t turn NB in an urban shoe company not made for elite or dedicated athletes.

I have respected and exclusively been with NB for years, but they are not naming it easy for me in recent times.

5’11” @205lbs and I have used several carbon plate shoes from Hoka, Nike, Saucony and New Balance. They all perform well but are all uniquely different from the fit and feel of the upper through the outer sole.

Lately my go-to has been the Fuel Cell RC Elite v2 and I loved that shoe. The SuperComp, for myself, has improved on a few things. As a heavier runner at 205 pounds I wear out shoes pretty quickly and it leaves my knees hurting after about 120-150 miles on a pair.

The additional stack height of the SC feels great on the knees and provides that extra cushion that I need for my longer tempo runs. The geometry of the SC compared to the RC is completely different.

The SC seems to propel you forward a little more/better than the RC. You can feel that stack height immediately when putting the shoes on. They make leg fatigue after a hard workout a non-issue. I have put a few miles on my first pair and the first thing I noticed that made me a fan was that the next morning my legs and feet didn’t feel like I had just ran an ultra after doing some speedwork in them.

No fatigue, no knee or foot pain at all. The shoe is a little heavier than the RC, but the performance makes up for that IMO. the upper seems to be an improvement over the RC as well. I could never get the RC to fit snugly without causing pain across the top of my foot so when I wore those shoes I had to leave the laces a little looser than normal.

The SC allows me to tighten the laces to my normal level, preventing my foot from sliding around when cornering or going down a slope. I’m excited to see how long these shoes last under my base mileage training before committing to them for a training cycle, but so far they seem to live up to the New Balance standard I have expected for over 25 years of running now.

While I probably wouldn’t wear them for a slower paced long run, they are excellent contenders for the mid-distance races and up-tempo runs.

I wear these for all my easy day runs and my easy long runs (note: these shoes are not for workouts/speed/quality efforts hence the “trainer” in the subject line people!). I am absolutely obsessed with this shoe and have tried virtually every fan-favorite trainer on the market across popular brands over the years and these are my #1 favorite all-time so far.

They feel extremely bouncy and help propel my heavy marathon-training legs off the ground. I also believe that the carbon-plate and the propulsion aspect helps in recovery too. I feel that my legs are more quickly recovering from wearing carbon-plated race shoes and these trainers day-in-and-out.

I see a lot of negative comments here about the ankle, but I have not had this issue. My feet feel glorious in these! I have over 300 miles now in them and they are still running just as lovely as they were the first mile I ran in them.

No issues with wear and tear in the upper. Can’t wait to buy my next pair!.

IšverstiShow in original languageAbout 30 years ago I bought a Stihl chainsaw to take care of the hardwoods on our heavily wooded property in Ohio. I quickly fell in love with this great machine. I confessed to my wife that I had to share my affection for her with another lover, my chain saw.

She was most forgiving and allowed me to continue that relationship with my chain saw. Four weeks ago, I read about your Sorrento – Brown shoes from Orthofeet. The write up and reviews caught my attention, so I ordered a pair with the extra wide toe box.

I have suffered from sore feet, had tarsal tunnel surgery on both feet, had numerous custom Orthodic inserts made, tried several other remedies, with limited relief. I was a bit jaded from failed solutions over the past 13 years.

I was somewhat skeptical about trying another gee whiz solution that would not work. But, then again, maybe it was a bit like giving chicken soup to a corpse, it can’t do any harm. The shoes arrived and I was impressed with the variety of devices to help the shoes meet my needs.

After a few experiments, I was able to get the right heel support and insert that was just right. I have worn them since with great relief. The wide toe box is so comfortable with no more pinched little toes (unlike other similar purported shoes that had failed in this department).

The shoes are the best thing I have had since my first taste of a Hostess Twinkie when I was seven years old (I know, it was a dumb thing to do). Knowing my chain saw was feeling a bit neglected with my newfound love, I decided to leave my new Sorrento’s out in the shed at night next to my Stihl chain saw so they could get to know each other better and help get past any jealousies.

So far so good. I think in due time I will be able to honestly say: “And they lived happily ever after!” Oh, BTW, my wife is happy with my shoes, but disappointed they did nothing to improve my dancing.

Most days I could barely walk I hurt so bad after work. A friend of mine told me about OrthoFeet. I purchased a new pair of Sorrento- brown men shoes. OMG, what a difference! It took about a week for my body to adjust to them.

I would say about 80-90% of the pain is gone! I still have a little after 8 hours but it is manageable and I can still walk out wanting to sit and cry. I purchased a different womans pair for my wife too.

She absolutely loves them as well. OrthoFeet shoes are awesome and both of us recommend them to everyone. Trust us, you will not be dissatisfied! The shoes were also true fit. No need for an extra 1/2 size.

IšverstiShow in original languageMy podiatrist was ready to put me in an Arizona brace–some big lace up thing to help with my collapsed arch. I wasn’t ready to do that, and in looking for new casual shoes, I decided to try Orthofeet.

I was amazed and so pleased that the arch support included with the shoe has replaced the aircast brace I had been wearing. I doubt I’ll ever need that lace up brace. I can walk very well with just the Orthofeet shoes.

As an above the knee amputee, I only need the orthotics in one shoe, but yes, I still need a pair of them! Four stars because my big toe presses against the shoe, but the other features are so good that I don’t let that bother me.

My new pair of safety shoes that my company give me, (we get 1 pair every year) became after a few weeks like a steel enclosure around my feet. The back of my heels was shot and raw, a kind of absess or soft painful red knot appeared at the front and back of my soles.

My steps were reduced to a pantomime waltz. To counter the strange enquiring looks I was receiving I was always pointing to and blaming my shoes. If I made any wrong step I had control myself from letting out a scream that I know would land me in a cage for dangerous animals.

I had to stop wearing any type of hard shoes due to the torture. I am also diabetic and foot injury terrified me. I could only wear sneakers. This was no good for my job, I had to find shoes. I found OrthoFeet from a google search and ordered a pair of Cobalt Men’s 612 AB Work Shoe size 10.

The shoes came in record time. It almost seems like I clicked “ORDER HERE” and the shoes was at my front door. Ok, I am exaggerating (maybe a little) maybe it took 2 days to arrive. I put them on and it was an instant relief.

The fit was perfect. The shoes are soft like a sneaker and wraps around my feet. There is no sliding of my feet up and down or side to side, so there is no friction. The soles are soft, and stepping in them is like stepping on air.

I soaked my feet in warm water with epson salts in my bubble foot bath 2 times a day for a few weeks and the injuries went away. I still wear plasters on my heals as a precaution and added protection.

So now everything is great. I never knew that a pair of shoes could make such a difference. I am 63yrs old and until I retire these are the only work shoes I will be purchasing and wearing. I don’t usually write reviews, however I had to say something about these shoes.

I have constant pain in my feet. I’ve been fighting with a wound on my right foot ball for 3 years. The last year I was under the care of a foot doctor. We tried everything to no avail. He wanted to perform surgery to remove bone under the wound site to relieve pressure.

He also mentioned Orthopedic shoes. I declined the surgery for now, and purchased these shoes from OrthoFeet. The hard part, is finding a pair of orthopedic shoes that can pass as dress shoes or casual shoes.

Most are modeled after sneakers or slippers. This shoe fit the bill in the looks department. When they arrived, I tried them on with two of the insoles that were enclosed. My feet were in heaven. No pressure on my feet, soft and comfortable.

They are also roomy as well. My feet are literally floating on air inside these shoes. Plenty of room inside to avoid pressure without feeling like they’re too loose or going to fall off. Would highly recommend these shoes.

I have worked warehouses all my adult life (62 yo). I have always bought Red Wing shoes. When my last pair or RW’s stated to fail I began looking elsewhere for work shoes as red wing didn’t have safety shoes I liked (seemed to be all boots available now).

I have been wearing Orthofeet slippers for years and love them. I looked on the website and found shoes I liked and ordered them. Best decision in footwear I have made in years. Comfort, support, looks, protection.

Just an excellent shoe. I’m telling all my co workers to give these a try. As others have stated there is absolutely no break in period with these. I normally only wear new work shoes for a few hours a day for a couple of weeks before chancing going a full day.

Not these, I have worn these daily for three weeks now and they have been great since day one.

I got these because of awful problems with my feet, particularly fasciitis and achilles problems, and I have to walk quite a bit. I needed a comfortable fit. These come in 2 sizes of width, the WIDE was perfect for me rather than EXTRA WIDE.

I was able to judge the correct size by measuring my foot length and using the fitting guide. Perfect. The support they give is very good even though they are very light weight shoes. They have what they call an anti-pronation ring which helps stop my foot from rolling inwards as I walk.

I knocked off a star though because they are not waterproof. For £75 I’d have expected a waterproof membrane to be built in. Having said that, I would buy again.

Unfortunately my trainers didn’t fit. Good width across toes, too wide over-rest of foot. Also too short. Fabric tops are a cheap poor quality. Soles seem to be durable. My major problem is that it’s impossible to return the trainers.

Fitville admitted that it’s expensive to return to their distributor in Germany and offered me a refund of £50 instead, and that I keep the trainers. This is a thoughtful gesture, however I would have preferred a full refund or trainers that actually fit, but I’m not prepared to try another size and having the same returns problem.

This company needs to sort out their returns issues before they are real contenders in the trainer market!.

This was my first experience with On Shoes. I like so many things about this shoe including quality of construction, light weight, and innovative features. But in the end, it’s a road running shoe, and the one thing it is missing is any sort of cushion under the balls of the feat.

I wore these shoes once before I returned them. Granted, I was walking, not running. But on a standard 2 mile loop I normally do with my dogs, I returned home with extremely sore balls of the feet. I often do this same loop in a pair of Chaco flip-flops that have zero cushioning, only a hard rubber sole and when I return home my feet feel great.

If this pair of running shoes has less cushioning than a pair of hard soled flip-flops, they aren’t going to work for me, so I returned them. To be honest, flip flops have the advantage of allowing the foot work the way it was designed and absorb the shock using the arch, metatarsals and musculature.

(But no, I can’t do the barefoot running thing, I need shoes for running) When you confine your feet into a restrictive shoe, your feet rely more on the engineering of the shoe. When restricted this way, my running shoes need more cushioning.

To be fair, I am 6’4″ and over 200lbs. For someone with less weight to move around, these shoes may have enough cushioning.

I was the biggest ON avocate for years before the were popular. The cloudrunner (defunct line) was the thing dreams are made of. They took away my back and knee pain. Why did those not sell well? They were god aweful ugly.

They then went to the cloudcruiser. These looked great and had the same some (different foam desity than the runner I believe), but the upper was so poorly made I would put dime size holes in them within a month (wore 3 pairs).

I wore the 1st pair of cloudrunners for almost 3 years, well after I should have been out of them. The cloudsurfer survives, but only in look as the latest line fixed the issue of pushing your forward when standing and would tear out a front loop in a couple of months.

The cushioned feeling on those new shoes is gone though. I have turned to see the alternatives and purchase the cloudace, cloudstratus, and cloudflow to hopefully fill the hole in my heart. None have succeeded and these are the worst of the shoes I’ve tried.

The cloudace and cloudstratus are definitely for running only and you can tell as the stratus is slanted forward and the ace has a very curved bottom so you can’t find a spot where much of your foot is sharing the load of your bodys’ weight at any given time.

At least those shoes had nice cushioned insoles (though insole material will break down quickly). These cloudflow shoes, like the title says, feel like walking on bricks. My wife also had a pair and said they weren’t as comfortable as the old cloudsurfers (by a lot in my opinion) and they broke down quickly.

I’m done with ON. I can’t afford $150 for pair of shoes that last 3-4 months. I am a casual runner and probably 20 lbs over weight. I’m not olympic athlete. If you can’t build a shoe for me I need to find a new brand that will.

I’ve worn this shoe for the past 3 years- I was so happy that the fit didn’t change with the redesign. They are THE most comfortable shoe I own. I have arthritis in both my feet from broken bones and it has always been hard to find that right balance of firm support and cushy comfort, and these hit the mark.

I wear them to work out in, hike, walk, and work in. I’m on my feet all day, every day, and until I bought these I didn’t realize how much of my hip and knee pain was from the wrong shoes (I’m 29 but have had a lot of sports injuries).

My only complaint is that they wear out relatively quickly. Granted I wear them every day, but I do have 3 pairs I rotate through so I’m not wearing the same pair day after day. That said, I still have to buy a new pair every 4 months and the cost really adds up.

I still give them 5 stars with 0 hesitation, though- they really are the best! ** I also have the CloudRunner, and those are a bit more durable and supportive, but these are still my faves! Those are a close second.

If you can’t wear Hokas because they’re too squishy, but are looking for something super comfy, give these a shot. You won’t regret it.

These sneakers are truly so comfortable. I was a tad nervous about the slip on kind as I felt my foot would just slip out of them but these are snug in the right spots to keep your foot secure but not so much that they feel tight.

These are more for leisure than sport and they truly are so cute! They go with pretty much anything! I ordered the taupe and the green so I can decide which ones I liked best …and … well I kept both! That tells you right there how awesome these sneakers are amazing! The green is on another level of the perfect color!! They are my favorite! They are so sleek looking without sacrificing the comfort.

To begin, I could barely get the interior support OUT of the shoe! Then I could hardly get my foot IN the shoe it was so tight! What’s going on with wide sizing? I found this same issue with Naturalizer too.

I’ve worn 8. 5 wide for years in other brands. Disappointing since these were exactly what I was looking for in a slip-on sneaker. There isn’t any stretch to the knit fabric upper either, just a design element.

Won’t be buying any Life Stride shoes in the future. Returned.

I bought these shoes when I injured my little toe a couple of weeks ago. I could not wear my normal size of 7 and a half after hurting my toe, so I bought these to accommodate my injury for a while. They are comfortable, stretchy, and have good arch support as well.

I bought them a half size larger than I usually wear to accommodate my swollen toe, but I might be able to still wear them once the swelling and pain goes away. I find that they are great in comfort, and pretty stylish as well.

As someone who, while in my pre-fatherhood days of logging 75+ mile weeks at paces typically between 6:00 and 6:30 per mile, is just getting back into running, the Clifton 7 was my default place to start after taking over a year off.

My last experience with the Clifton line was the 5 (I have worn every edition other than the 6), the improvements to the upper and weight reduction were a strong positive. Unlike many other reviews, I actually preferred the responsive foam reformulation in the 4 and onwards as opposed to the overly soft 2 and 3, as it was more durable and gave more bounce through the lifecycle of the shoe.

The 7 picked up right when I had left off but has a more open upper with a gussetted tongue, something sorely needed in every version sans the OG. My only concern with 75 miles in is the longevity as the sole is showing a decent amount of wear.

I have heard the 8 outsole was reconfigured to increase durability so I am looking forward to my next pair for comparison. However at this point the wear seems to be mostly cosmetic and has not effected the traction or midsole cushioning.

I use the Clifton 7 for my daily runs, longs (I alternate the 7 and the Mach 4 for long runs) and recovery runs. Other than speedwork, as there are much better options for that case use purpose IMO, the Clifton 7 remains what the Clifton has always been about, a supremely cushioned and comfortable ride for logging a ton of miles at an incredibly light weight and a variety of paces.

The questions over durability are the only reason I am not giving 5 stars, but RR Sports was, as they always are, wonderful to deal with!!.

I absolutely LOVE my Clifton 7s – best athletic shoe I’ve ever worn. I have problem feet/ankles/knees/hips due to rheumatoid arthritis and my 7s made walking for exercise SO much better. I loved them so much that I wore the soles down and the treads off, so I began looking for a replacement.

My local running store did not have the Clifton 8s in stock in my size, so I tried the Bondi, but they didn’t work for me. The store clerk suggested I order the Clifton 8s in my size directly from the Hoka website.

I was super excited to get my new shoes, but SO disappointed when I tried wearing them. The 8s are SO different from the 7s! THE GOOD: The only positive change is that the laces of the 8s are shorter (I always had to double or triple tie the laces of my 7s so as not to trip on them).

The outer sole still seems to offer good cushion. THE BAD: There’s something about the heel that feels stiff, thick and irritating, and just doesn’t fit comfortably for me like the old one. Also, the lining fabric is slick and sweaty/not breathable.

The worst changes, though, are in the toe box. The toe box is too narrow – and I do not have a wide foot. When I stepped forward, I could feel the edges of the insole irritating the edges of my feet where the insole and shoe meet at the sides of my feet.

Adding to this discomfort is the fact that the laces of the 8s start further toward the front end of the shoe than in the 7s, which caused the first lace to cut off my circulation at the base of my toes making the top of my foot tingle.

I tried loosening the laces, but then my foot was too loose in the shoe. I’ve sent them back for a replacement and am going to try the same shoe in a wide, just to see if it’s any better though the toe box, but I don’t have my hopes up too high.

I really hope the next version is improved!.

Read this if you’re a runner and don’t know if you need to size up! After a 10 year hiatus from distance running, I decided to pick up running again and needed new running shoes. Honestly, there are so many options out there I didn’t really know where to begin.

I just want to run a few miles a week so I didn’t want to spend a lot, but wanted something that offered good support because I’m not getting younger. I checked major sport sites and these shoes seem like they’re the most popular for a mid-price range.

As I’ve had zero experiences with Hoka before, I wasn’t familiar with their sizing. I read reviews on multiple sites and it was a mixed bag – some said they ran big, some said small, some said wide, and some said narrow.

I checked all the size charts and they weren’t particularly helpful, either. For reference, I am a solid US women 8 in most shoes – sneakers, heels, boots, sandals. Width wise, I am average – not narrow, not wide.

I’ve never gotten wide shoes in my life, but certain shoes like Converse do feel tight after walking for a while. For running shoes, I always sized 1/2 size up. I used to wear 8. 5 in Asics with thick running socks.

Anyway, I filtered down the reviews to those who mentioned running and it seemed like most runners suggest to get your regular size instead of sizing 1/2 size up as you would with most running shoes.

So I decided to get a size 8 in regular/medium width. With modern technology, I was able to pick up the shoes from a local sporting goods store 20 minutes after ordering. I tried them on in the car and knew I made the right decision – there was some wiggle room from my big toe and the width felt perfect.

Even if I wore thick running socks, it should still be a comfortable fit. Once I got home, I went for a 1 mile run and they felt fine on asphalt/concrete. Obviously, it’s too early to tell if they’re actually right for me, but I’ve had running shoes that immediately hurt, and these didn’t do that.

I am excited to see how these will hold up!.

I like that there’s a questionnaire to help you find the right type of shoe for yourself. This helped me to select the Clifton 8 with high arch support which is wonderful. It’s the first time that I’ve had athletic shoes where I didn’t have to buy a special insert to give me the support I need.

I also like the higher back heel design because I have to use a heel lift inside my shoe due to a leg length discrepancy. I have to add a half inch heel lift under the insole. Since your insoles are rather thin, I wore these around the house for a bit before venturing out in them to make sure that I could tolerate the edge of the heel lift which I normally don’t feel under my other insoles.

Not too bad. Also having the extra high back on the outside is great because if the back of the shoe behind my heel is too low after putting in the lift, it causes problems with the shoe slipping off of my heel.

That is not the case for these shoes. Finally wore them to the gym and all I can say is the cushion is great, support is great and I had no heel slipping out of the shoe. So far, so good. I’ll have to wear them a bit more to make sure these are as great as everyone says.

Looking forward to continuing to try these out and hoping that I like them enough to buy a pair for normal every day walking. Was also a little apprehensive about the mostly white color but I’ve already gotten compliments on them.

The pattern with the blue is pretty cool.

Starting off, when I saw the box it was a pleasant surprise to find that it was not the standard orange Nike box but that it was silver. Opening up the box it was a great addition having the draw string bag and I have used it everyday to bring the cleats with me to trainings and games.

As someone that has gone through countless pairs of cleats and is used to having to break them in for at-least a week I was shocked at the level of comfort that the Mercurial Vapor’s had straight out of the box.

The upper is extremely soft, molds to your foot, and creates a glove like experience for your feet as it feels completely wrapped around and locked in. The comfort has been incredible and the more and more that I wear the cleats the more and more that I love them.

They are easy to put on and take off, but once they are on your foot is secure and in place. The stud pattern feels quite aggressive and made me feel like I had an extra millisecond exploding forward.

In addition, I felt that the stud length was slightly longer than other cleats I have previously used and I find it to be helpful when playing in thick grass or turf. Another thing that I have been surprised by is that even after most likely 20-25 wears and each wear for about 2 hours the cleats have almost zero signs of wear or distress.

The upper is still perfectly glued to the outsole, the upper it’s self has no scratches or marks, the only thing that I have noticed is that the little sticker at the top of the tongue has lifted slightly in the middle only on the right cleat, but this is an extremely minimal detail that should say a lot about the quality and just how good they are.

Another thing is that the cleats are super easy to clean, with just a wet rag or napkin any mud or dirt I’ve had on the boots just wipes right off without having to scrub or anything. Continuing, a small detail that many people might not think about is the insole and how it pairs with different kinds of socks and I have found that after using multiple different kinds of socks my foot never feels like it’s slipping or moving around in the cleat at all and as a bonus the insole adds an extra cushion of comfort while your just standing still.

I’ve also found that striking the ball while shooting, passing, crossing, or just juggling the boot has a smooth and sharp feel and I’m able to feel the ball perfectly almost as if I was bare footed.

Overall, I have come to love the Mercurial vapor 14’s as a person that hasn’t worn a pair of Vapors since the vapor 10 it is safe to say that I am one hundred percent back to the vapor line.

Hello, all who are reading this review! Allow me to talk a little bit about myself, I go to the gym every day, and I would typically do strength training with weights 5 days out of the week. And For the other 2 days, are my cardio days and typically I would do outdoor activities.

I have recently taken up soccer and these are my first pair of soccer cleats ever. The design is lightweight and very comfortable. It feels as if I wore soccer cleats my entire life, it is a snug fit when I first used them but after a day of soccer, the cleats felt perfect on my feet.

The cushioned insole gave my feet the much-needed comfort as well as the NikeGrip technology which prevented my foot from sliding during the games. This has been helpful since I would typically play soccer all day.

There are a few things worth mentioning, the shoe did feel tight the very first time putting them on more than usual. I would recommend getting a half size up. I did need to adjust the shoelaces to better fit my foot.

And since I am new to soccer I just wore regular socks with them, it wasn’t a big deal for me but having the right socks did alleviate the problem immediately. I would also like to mention it comes with a beautifully designed bag which allows you to hold your cleats in them.

The bag design itself matched the cleat’s colorway which gave it that extra flare when walking on and off the field. Overall these soccer cleats are well worth the investment if you are looking for a lightweight, comfortable, and good grip I cannot recommend these enough.

I am overall impressed with these Vapor 14 Elite FG with how easily they can be put on and the design of the cleat’s. The cleats are as easily as putting socks on. They fit overall good. Not tight on the feet and space for your toes.

They are pretty comfortable on the feet for day use. The bottom design is another thing I’m totally digging. The special designed plate under the cleat helps improve your speed and ability to hit those corners faster.

To me when I’m running with these Vapor 14 Elite, I feel like a cheetah running. You can totally feel how the bottom plates dig into the ground and improve your speed. The material is very well breathable allowing your feet to stay cool.

The most thing I loved about these is the overall design of how easy they are to put on, and second would be the bottom plate design. One thing I would add is a little more cushion on the insole. Great cleats to wear overall and would definitely recommend for those looking to improve speed and hitting those fast cuts.

I was honestly a little skeptical at first when I first saw the ads for KURU. After checking out the reviews, and looking at the products and their features; I decided to give it a shot. I suffer from flat feet and the fallout of an accident that wrecked my ankle a few years ago, and it’s been a problem looking for shoes that offer both comfort and support for my feet when I am out and about.

“Worst case is that they do nothing for me and I’m out 130 dollars” I thought to myself as I clicked on the complete order link. The next day I received an email on what to expect from the moment I slip my feet into my new KURU’s, “wear them for three hours a day for up to three weeks to get the best fit”.

Two days after the email, the shoes arrived and I was ready with the information to break them in. I can honestly say from the moment I put them on and took my first steps, they were a dream. A little stiff to be sure, but wearing them for the first three hours had already started to make a positive impact on my feet.

It’s only been an increasing positive experience since then. The more I wore them, the better they custom formed and increased the comfort levels. I will only be buying my future shoes from KURU, I am just that impressed with the comfort and ease I have in my daily routines now.

I bought these shoes after visiting a few running/walking focused websites – these shoes received strong reviews. I walk daily for about an hour (typically 4+ miles). The shoes are holding up well to date – and are fairly comfy and easy to put on – but for $130 I don’t think I’m getting anything that special.

Walking down hills (not the best traction) or in the rain (the water just pours through the mesh) is a challenge that I’ve had more success overcoming with other walking/running shoes. When I have done intervals (walking and then running and then returning to walking), I feel pain and a lack of cushion while running.

Again, fairly comfortable when walking on flat surfaces. I’ll keep searching for that ultimate walking shoe – perhaps even give a different KURU shoe a try.

Bought the shoe about a month ago received it quickly took awhile to get used to it like it said but it was worth it. I have been struggling with plantar fasciitis for 2 years now and could only wear hoka with a custom insert and it would only buy me time to wear in the day for a bit before it began to hurt again.

These shoes have greatly increased the time i can spend on my feet and while not 100% effective for me just yet but the massive improvement worked well enough that I will be purchasing again. I also love how they look good and athletic and can be worn anywhere without question.

The biggest issue is they seem to get dirty very quickly probably also because of it being a lighter color since they were out of the black. I did not want to wash them in washer or dryer at risk of messing up the inserts that mold to your feet so I need a shoe cleaner alternative.

Besides that the shoe is worth a try for people looking for other issues. 25 year old male with plantar fasciitis due to flat feet and so far they are working. I am hoping a rucking military style boot can be made later on and that would help alot!.

Love the taupe color and the low rise sneaker fit. Found my usual size, 10N, to be a little small/short. Was not available in a 10. 5N, so got the 10. 5M. Good fit, though a little wider in the heel than I would like.

My last pair of Softwalk shoes came with a thick, waffle texture insole which this one did not. No problem, I use my own orthotic anyway, which fit in the shoe fine after removing the standard, removable insert that was included.

I love these shoes. They are the perfect basic sneaker for casual wear. Great style, very comfortable. Having narrow feet, it is very difficult to find styles that I like that fit well. These fit my 9N foot perfectly.

This style was out of stock for awhile, and when stock came back, I bought 3 pairs! I am currently on my 2nd pair (before buying the 3 new ones). If that’s not a strong recommendation, I don’t know what is! If SoftWalk keeps making them, I’ll keep buying them.
