20 Best Shirt For Concealed Carry (2023 Updated)

Great Quality and very Comfortable when bringing your little buddy along. Make sure you order a size up from your regular T-shirt size, they run small and tight and are supposed to fit tight but I prefer a little breathing room.

That’s unless you are a very thin person with no extra baggage, if you know what I mean. Just wish they were in the 35 dollar range but definitely worth the money.

It fits well and conceals a single stack 9mm or small revolver (SP-101) well. A larger double stack auto is concealable, but the weight becomes an issue with it pulling on your outer shirt. Pockets are thick, so concealment even in white or pastel dress shirts is not an issue.

I often wear a tie, so I keep a couple of buttons undone on the shirt for faster access. Warning – spandex and nylon are hot. Be prepared to sweat. I’m probably going to order another one as I wear them at church and other activities where business casual or a shirt and tie without coat is required.

Overall I’m pleased with these shirts, there are a few technical issues with them. 1st these showers don’t do a good job at preventing printing. 2nd every good holster has the ability to cover the trigger to prevent an NG.

These shirts do not 3rd, these shirts are HOT! It would be favorable if the shooter had some ventilation mid back and body while still maintaining the compression. Now for the good I love the compression I love being able to carry without my gun on my hip or worrying whether my shirt rose up and exposed my firearm.

Especially during business meetings and restaurants.

I tried this on in front of my spouse before going out to a semi-formal dinner. (“Big mistake — don’t do that,” LOL,) The first observation she made was, “that’s way too tight. ” No worries — I explained to her why she was mistaken, and why this shirt is absolutely GREAT.

1) There’s a LOT of spandex in the weave — but that’s just fine (Honey) because the shirt has to hold a weapon in place, and I don’t want the darned thing shifting around as I move. 2) I’m wearing this shirt and a weapon under a dress shirt and a sport jacket.

The position of the pockets is perfect — one of them holds my weapon completely out-of-sight, and there are multiple layers of soft fabric between the weapon and my clothing, so there is no bulge visible anywhere.

3) The shirt has pockets on BOTH sides — didn’t notice that in the product description. But it’s a GREAT feature, because it gives me a secure space for spare mags or other items. (And, of course, the shirt can be sold to southpaws with no special ordering or confusion.

) WORTH EVERY DIME — an excellent product.

I like the design and the fit. I see multiple purposes for it. However, the flaw I see is that it’s similar to a shoulder holster without the support. The weight of a gun or the contents will stretch and weigh the pockets down.

To remedy and improve the situation I would recommend a horizontal sleeve with a removable/adjustable elastic band in a heart rate monitor position just below the pectorals. This would add support and keep the contents closer to the body, extending the longevity of the shirt.

Make sure you check the size and get one close to your actual measurements. You want it to be snug. The pockets are big enough to hold anything and the shirt distributes the weight really well. In practice you want to stick with shorter and lighter pistols.

Heavier guns (30+ ounces) will sag down and away from your body. There is no pocket closure so longer guns can tip out if you lean to far forward (imagine tying your shoes). Shorter and lighter guns do not have either problem.

The shirt is lightweight and very comfortable. I love mine. If you carry something heavier/longer then look at the one from 5. 11. It is heavier duty, thicker/warmer, and more expensive but it has pocket closures and is more appropriate for larger guns.

If you aren’t carrying a larger gun then the Tru-Spec 24-7 is a great option.

Very nice looking and great quality and feel. My only complaint is the pockets are smaller than I’d like them to be. But I still recommend it. I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on it too!

I ordered an XL size, which is what I usually wear. This size runs larger. The short sleeves are longer and chest area are larger. I would order a large next time.

Great construction, great fit, great look. Very comfortable, hold embroidery fine. I like the two chest pockets, I wear this as a work shirt and I can carry everything I need.

I have used these shirts for dress/casual LE work and love them. The only problem that I am having is that the buttons unravel and come off easily.

This shirt has an open weave that allows air to flow through the fabric on hot days. But the weave is so discrete that you can’t tell it’s there. Super lightweight, comfortable, flexible. But it doesn’t have the hidden pockets that are normally associated with 5.

11 shirts. Also, instead of buttons, it has small metal snaps. Super convenient! I’d buy one of each color if I could, but so far, only black has been in stock. I’ve got, like, 20 or more shirts in my closet.

If this one isn’t in the laundry, I’m wearing it, ‘cause it’s my favorite!.

Great quality, as usual. Very light weight and comfortable. Great in warm weather. The material has tiny holes throughout to help keep you cool, but concealed weapons still don’t show through (and I wear a white undershirt).

I bought a second one, and then my wife got me two more for Christmas. I’m very pleased with this shirt.

Awesome shirts at a great price! They did send the wrong size of one shirt which I had to send back. still waiting to receive the correct size. Still overall very pleased and will definitely be buying more products from them.

If anyone has questions on sizing I am 6′ 180 pounds and the medium fits nice. The one size large they sent by mistake felt like I was wearing a pup tent.

These are the most comfortable and durable polo shirts I have ever owned. I started using them on duty as a police officer. Now I have a number of them strictly for my civilian use every day. I wont spend money on anything else.

No need to ever iron them, and they dry immediately when they get wet. The perfect shirt.

Initially my husband purchased one and had it embroidered for the Firehouse. He really liked it so we purchased 3 more and have had them embroidered as well. Now several other of the firefighters have followed suit.

My husband is an electrician & is high up on ladders or just in the heat in general. He found this particular shirt several years ago & loves them! The polyester cotton blend is lighter weight & washes well – if hung up immediately after drying they don’t wrinkle – I’m all for that! The 5.

11 Tactical store locally does not carry this shirt anymore so finding it from Galls was a blessing. My husband definitely recommends this shirt. It is the classic fit – roomy – not the type that is more form fitting & the venting underneath in the back helps him so much.

It runs a little big, so he only needs a large. He wears it untucked, but it’s long enough for tucking in. I can say yes to ordering from Galls – I’d never heard of them so I was reluctant, but glad that I did.

First let me say, I don’t mean to take anything away from this 5. 11 Tactical Taclite Pro shirt, but it is a replacement for my Woolrich shirts that are no longer being made. The Taclite Pro is a really good shirt, and the lighter, blend material is slightly more comfortable than the 100% cotton version of this shirt (which can be a little stiff when first putting on for the day).

I’ve only worn it and laundered it a couple of times, but so far so good! I did make a mistake in ordering the “Tall” version of the shirt. I just didn’t need it. I will be buying a standard version in my size (or 2 or more), and hopefully it will be perfect.

I’m hoping that I’ve found my new “everyday” shirt.

Great for concealment! Do wish the collar’s elastic would be stronger. Seems like this will stretch out quickly. Good support for my G43 and additional clips. Surprised at how protective the pocket is.

Size is a little tight for the medium—it is a form fitting shirt. You may want to go one size larger if you do not want a skin-tight fit. Although, not sure how that would affect the carry.

I have one of each of these in the two colors. I would like too see a few more colors added as I want more of these, and to not appear wearing the same two shirts all the time 😎 The fit is nice, and I wear these over a cotton sleeveless shirt tucked in, and wear this untucked, and it conceals my IWB Sig P365XL great.

I bought the Vay-Camo specifically for warm weather concealed carry. This shirt helps me stay cool with it’s design of letting air flow through it. I will definitely be adding a few more of these to my warm weather concealed carry outfit.

Just add a few more colors please. The quality is great too, no bad stitching, and the size runs true.

Seems to be well-made. I would call it a relaxed fit because it’s a little loose at the bottom which makes it suitable for owb carry. It’s very lightweight with micro-perforations that don’t show but help to ventilate it.

The styling is casual to dressy-ish; suitable for every day wear or a night out.

I’m 5’6 145lbs and slender and carry OWB. I bought medium, although it fits so so I wish the sleeve can be 2″ longer. The length is fine, although it does not print I wish it could be a little bit looser.

With that said I’m considering buying it in Large. I wore it a couple of days, I didn’t wash it yet so not sure if I can return it for a large. I love the color and material. It can be worn comfortably in 72 degree weather and up, wish they had more colors cause I would buy more.

It’s great for every day wear tucked or untucked.

True to size! I purchased a medium and it fits my 5’-9” 165lb frame perfectly. The graphics arent quite as nice as the other “skull” t-shirt I purchased also. Not nearly as 3-D looking as the pictures online….

but still a cool shirt. Certainly will find a use wearing it somewhere.

First off, the graphics are simply amazing. In real life this shirt looks exactly like it does on the web page. As far as fit goes, I’m 6’2″ @ 220 lbs. and somewhat muscular. I bought an XL and the fit is just right – not too loose and not too tight.

Sleeve length is perfect – for me anyway. If I was going to nit-pick about anything it would be where the front and back graphic join together (at the top of the shoulder seam) the graphics are misaligned by about 1/4 inch.

But nobody is going to notice something like that unless they were deliberately looking for something to fault. But since the graphics look so amazing, I’m giving it 5 stars, even with a slight misalignment.

It’s a gift for Christmas otherwise I would send pics, I can say these are the best graphics on tees and sweatshirts I have ever seen! Will definitely be ordering more. Thankyou for delivering a product as good if not better then advertised.

Bought this as a gift and the hubby was so stoked. Loved everything about it. The design, color, material, that is until he put it on. Once he put it on and looked over at me he said this is awesome.

I turned around and the print was peeling off. I walked up to him and said hey dust your shirt but as soon as you touched it the design was peeling and it felt sticky. We had plans to meet friends so I got some tape tried to pick off the little white pieces and said use it, don’t touch your shirt this will be a one and down.

Quality was a big disappointment.

Great shirt! Love the side patches. Shrinkage is minimal. I bought a mens M and I usually wear a size 8 in women. I actually like the mens tees a bit more since I can layer a long sleeve tee underneath in cold weather.

I now own many of these tees. Love ‘em and the fact that they are American made makes me stoked.

I ordered two womens short sleeve shirts, size xl, When I put it on it fit like a medium, and that is being generous. I can’t even wear it. I normally wear a large and fitting shirts a xl just for some extra room.

I should have ordered a 3 x. Or even maybe 4x just to be comfortable. At least I could wear them. I was so stoked about them, and finally get them and the sizing is ridiculously small. Won’t buy again.

I like how the shirt fits me. I should’ve read the complete details before my purchase because it does not come with the holsters that’s needed and I can’t find any; so I have not been able to wear the shirt for its intended purpose.

I ordered the concealment shirt and unfortunately I did not read the fine print. The shirt is of high quality and appropriately reinforced. The brand of the shirt is nationally recognized. The product photo shows the shirt with a under arm holster and magazine holder.

I received the shirt and it is absent the magazine holder and holster. I looked for these items at Walmart and I could not find them. I purchased them from another outlet. Costing showed Walmart was competitive on the shirt less the accessories, so I did not return the shirt to Walmart(GC Ranchers Inc.

) for a refund. Let the buyer beware.

I measure 44 and a half chest measurement. I ordered two XL 46-48 shirts. (I normally wear XL size shirts) They fit if my arms hang down at my sides. When I cross my arms the back becomes super tight.

I called and returned the shirts for a larger size. Return shipping travel took almost two weeks from WI to CA and then no notice of arrival. I waited and waited and then called. The CS agent immediately sent a manual shipment order for two 2XL shirts.

In three days, Ca to WI, the shirts arrived. The shirts are looser, but the sleeves are still tight across the shoulders if I cross my arms hard. The sleeves are tight on the back and bunch on the front side.

I have a medium build, not super muscular and not fat. It seems the shirt patterns are wrong. They are designed with the sleeves set for someone to stand at attention, stand tall and shoulders back, and not for active motion with the shoulders able to move forward, (such as in a CCW weapon draw which is what they are supposed to be designed for).

Other than that, they are well-built, high-quality beautiful looking shirts. I would definitely buy more if the shoulder fit changed/improved.

Ordered this shirt on the clearance sale, 2XL. I’m a broad chested guy with a bit more gut than I’d like to admit, but this shirt for a double-extra-fat is not doable. I wear 2XL in virtually every other shirt.

I can put the shirt on and button it, but across the belly, the snaps are screaming for help (that’s a me problem, I know this). But across the shoulders – think the Chris Farley “fat man in a little coat” – I could rip the back out of it just by crossing my arms.

Luckily I have a buddy that it will fit, and he’s going to take it off my hands for me.

I love 511 shirts! The lightweight fabric, the snaps instead of buttons, the fit! Unfortunately, to get a lightweight shirt you need to sacrifice durability. I have actually started seeing wear marks across the chest from my truck seatbelt.

😔 This won’t keep me from using their products. I wear mostly 511 clothing exclusively for its comfort and functionality. I don’t see that changing any time soon.

Very nice shooting shirt. Light weight so it’s comfortable in hot weather. Well made and the patch is effective, but not so thick as to interfere with mounting the gun. Shirt tail is long enough so that it stays tucked in.

I find these shirts run large. I normally wear a medium, but the small fits me perfectly. I do recommend these shirts. Kevin’s shipping is very prompt.

Finding a quality short-leave shooting shirt with single, open pocket is tough these days. Thanks to Kevin’s offering something that fills this bill. Shirt is very-light weight, but the materials are high quality.

Also, the padding is thick enough to actually absorb recoil. This shirt ain’t cheap, but it’s worth every penny.

The shirts are roomy and should they shrink a bit will fit. The fabric is of a dense/tight quality weave. They are well cut and well sewn. I think they will grace my closet for some years to come. I plan to wear these when I hed to the Lake Superior area next month on a geological and photographic jaunt.
