20 Best Shampoo For Bleach Bath (2023 Updated)

My hair has been going through a real rough time this year. I realised that it must have been falling out about six months ago from stress because I am currently experiencing little baby hairs that are growing in every which direction except where I want them! Still – I am grateful to have my hair, and made the decision that I need to step up my hair care to give it the love it deserves.

I had been using a shampoo that didn’t suit my hair type at all and always felt like it was left feeling like it had an oily (slightly sticky) texture to it. My hair is fine and thin, so this just weighed it down and made it feel absolutely disgusting.

I too have felt gross from this, and have been longing for better hair days all year. Aveda is a brand that I really like – I think if I am honest, it is most likely down to the fragrance in their products.

They just smell so good!!! This shampoo hasn’t let me down as far as the fragrance side goes, but it also has worked wonders on my fine oily hair. My hair actually feels clean now, but not stripped of all it’s life.

I feel like it is gentle enough to use every day if I want, but also makes my hair feel fresh and clean all day long. Those little fly-aways are still there, but hopefully over time they will grow and become less visable.

I have been teaming this up with the Aveda Blonde Conditioner, and also the Heat Resist, which is just gorgeous, and perfect for fine hair as it isn’t heavy at all. I would highly suggest checking this product out if you have fine / thin / oily / greasy gross hair like mine was.

I REALLY wanted to like this shampoo, but unfortunately my hair has become increasingly dry – even after experimenting with using the conditioner just on the ends and also from root to tip. My hairdresser recommended buying more expensive shampoo and washing my hair once a week instead of more frequently.

After my haircut I left it a week (which was tough!), and washed with an eco shampoo bar (to avoid my high-street ordinary shampoos that my hairdresser advised against) that ordinarily didn’t do anything great, but it was amazing! My hair looked like it had always ‘just been brushed’, very full and shiny.

I knew that the bar wasn’t great for the long term, so I took the hair quiz on the Aveda website and bought this Rosemary and Mint shampoo and conditioner. I was really hoping the same thing would happen again.

It has been so disappointing. My hair is now so dry. I chose this shampoo as I live in an area with hard water and thought the purifying aspect would help. Also the shampoo my hairdresser used at my haircut was of a similar variety designed to focus on cleaning your hair, but it was aloe vera and mint by Kevin Murphy.

I have been washing my hair only once a week, using the conditioner as well, and I use hair oil on the ends of my hair and to tame fly-aways. I don’t know what to do! I have these huge litre bottles now.

We moved recently to a SOFT water area and my baby fine straight hair couldn’t cope with the residue left by the soft water. Gone were my naturally shiny, floaty, carefree locks – the soft water really weighed them down, plastering my now flat, thin & lifeless hair onto my head – many tears about the new soft water! I tried everything from apple cider vinegar rinses to shampoos for oily hair but my ‘normal’ but fine hair refused to respond & I actually started having it cut shorter, tied it up all the time & considered a wig.

In final desperate measures I tried this product. All I can say is, I love it, it cherishes my hair and smells gorgeous too. I don’t use much, I wash every 3 days, use minimal hydration conditioner (if any) and it’s more like the hair I had prior to this SOFT water nightmare.

I dyed my hair recently, my hair was jet black and I was trying to achieve a blonde/ caramel colour with dark roots. When I dyed it initially it was very brassy and almost ginger in some places and I realised I needed a toner or something to calm the orangy yellow tones down and make it look more ashy.

I was googling my options when I came across this product, I was reading alot of the reviews and people were saying it helped with their brassy tones. I admit I was a bit skeptial at first because its just a shampoo not an actual dye or anything but I went and picked it up as it is inexpensive and I didnt really want to dye my hair again after the trauma I had just put it through.

There was no indication on the bottle as to how long I should leave it on for so I put it on and left it for about 20 mins and saw the slightest of difference, I was quite disappointed at first. I decided I would not give up and tried again a few days later but this time left it for an hour.

And what a WOW it was my hair was alot less orangy and even became a bit lighter, the colour it became was lovely. You may not get the result you want in one go but keep using it and you will see a difference! The only down side is the annoying bottle, please change it so you squeeze the product out as it can get a bit messy with the current bottle.

Also does leave hair feeling a bit dry, make sure you use a rich moisturiser or treatment after!.

I’ve tried several purple/simple shampoos and this one is simply the best. Originally recommended to me by my hairdresser, it removes any yellow blonde tones in your hair really well. Only downside is the purple fingers/nails you have after but you just need to scrub your hands a bit to get rid of it.

This purple shampoo is absolutely brilliant and the best I’ve tried. It really does make an obvious difference to your highlights when they’re looking a bit yellow or needing done again. Even my hairdresser asked me what shampoo I’d been using.

It’s cruelty-free and vegan too, so even better. I wash my hair with my normal shampoo, then apply this and leave it in for around 5-10 minutes. Wear gloves though as it stains, and don’t use it when you’re having a shower as you’ll end up purple.

This is my always go-to shampoo! I’ve tried switching to other products in the past, big mistake. I have oily roots after a couple of days but if I use this (especially with my wash, rinse, repeat cycle), then I can go much longer without washing my hair.

My hair is bleached, I use heat, I use product so I really like a nice clarifying shampoo that I feel is combating all of that. Also, a little goes a long way! You can get a bottle for $21 on Amazon 🙂 10/10 definitely recommend! #sudzz #clarifyingshampoo.

This shampoo changed my LIFE! My hair is in such better condition, so much cleaner and softer. Other shampoos really damaged and would cling to my hair. Make sure to alternate it with a hydrating shampoo though (I recommend sudzz cashmere hydrating shampoo) so it doesn’t dry out your scalp.

I only use it once a week!.

Smells so good. Lathers so big, definitely lives up to the sudzzfx name. Great volume but it did leave my hair a little dry which is weird considering it contains honey. Great though if you need the rougher texture to provide more volume.

Lee Stafford BLEAcH BLondes ‘ice white” Shampoo,Conditioner and Treatment Review! • Heres a little backstory to me and my hair. Naturally I am a Dark brown and trust me it’s taken a good 3 years to become the colour I finally love 🤍 • So trying to keep my hair as light as possible whilst not damaging my hair includes many different purple shampoos and numerous staining of white shower curtains but I think I’ve found one which takes to my hair leaving the best results! • I used this product once and already it’s so much better than previous purple shampoos I have used and it’s left my hair not only lighter ( pictures may not show it but definitely makes a difference) it’s also left it so much shiner and softer to the point I’m struggling to keep it in a hair bobble 😂and this is rare for my hair 😅 • I also found that buying a new hairbrush helped so much more when softening my hair too! • Lee Stafford products are currently 3 for £15 at @bootsuk at the moment and is definitely worth slashing out a little more for good quality products which smell lovely,leave your hair unbelievably soft and restores icy whites removing brassiness.

This stuff rocks, but there are a few things you have to be aware of before you use it. Firstly, the consistency is runny, so be careful – it’s really easy to pour way too much out into your hand, which is a bummer as this stuff is almost as precious as gold to me.

Secondly, this is a highly pigmented shampoo! If your hair just needs a little toning, you might want to cocktail it half-and-half with a non-toning shampoo, unless you’re cool with your hair having a light lavender tinge.

(I think it looks awesome, myself. ) And thirdly, the color of this shampoo is a pink-toned violet. That means it’ll work well not only on nasty yellowy bits but also that weird, sickly green tone that blonde hair can sometimes pick up.

It might not be great for hair that has more of an orange tone, as the pink can make the orange look warmer. Thankfully, the matching conditioner is a blue-toned violet, which is perfect for orangey hair.

The scent is pretty unisex; it has a warm, complex, woody smell, something akin to a really high-quality incense. I love it, but if you’re more about fruity, floral, or herbal scents you might not think it’s so great.

And, as others have said, it can be pretty drying. That’s fairly typical of toning shampoos, in my experience. Just follow up with a good deep conditioner and you should be fine.

Its okay, I dont see much difference before and after shampooing. Clean perfect hairs, leave more refresh. Its really important that shampoo its #veganfriendly and #crueltyfree It was my first time when I was using products Lee Stafford.

I will buy again but from other range.

so I am very surprised to say that this actually work to keep the dye / color in my hair and it also condition it for shampoo. My hair type has been very temperamental when it comes to hair products It was very difficult for me to find just the right one.

I recently bleached and boxed dyed my hair blonde and I was trying to find the right product to keep the color long-lasting and healthy. I am very happy to receive a complimentary free box box influenster x Bleach London Pearlescent Shampoo and conditioner hair product.

This is the perfect opportunity for me to see if this product actually works. I test it out for a week and a half and I did see that the blonde stay It’s bright creamy color and moisturized it. I’m glad to say that it helped control the brassy yellow and Make it the silk and shiny that I need.

I’m normally an Olaplex No4P loyal diehard, but I noticed recently they’ve gotten bad press for their ingredients. This shampoo was right on par with my go to and half the price!It toned my balayage *evenly* with no purple/lavender spots where my hair is extra porous and grabs color.

I prefer my purple shampoo to make my hair a clearer and brighter blonde to last between salon visits and this did just that! It looked like I had gotten a lot of holiday sun! I always double cleanse with a regular shampoo first followed by the purple shampoo because I don’t feel they actually clean my hair that well so I can’t speak on the cleansing efficacy.

It was great for a user-friendly, low risk toner though!!.

Overall this shampoo was nice, it was thick and pigmented, lathered well, and cleaned my hair but it smells really bad. Like a musky, old person type of smell. I am more into fresh, clean, or sweet smelling hair products.

I’m also not sure what it is supposed to do, it says leave a pearly finish? I felt like it helped tone down the brass a little bit but left like a slight dark purple tint. I use the olaplex toning shampoo and I prefer it to this one- olaplex smells very fresh and it actually brightens the hair and fights brass at the same time.

I bought this product as I have recently gone from brown to blonde so still had some warm tones in my hair. This shampoo is great, it doesn’t dry out your hair and it doesn’t exactly what it says! I’ve always used Lee Stafford products so when I changed colour this was the first thing in my basket – it does the job! Would highly recommend.

It’s now a staple in my routine!.

Bought this shampoo and conditioner as I hadn’t seen it before and I like Lee Stafford hair products. I got a good lather with the shampoo and the conditioner leaves your hair feeling smooth, silky but best off all is the smell, it is absolutely gorgeous.

I have used many many shampoos and conditioners and I have to say this one is the best. So a big thank you to Lee and his team.

I generally love lee Stafford products however I’m not obsessed with this conditioner. I paired it with the purple shampoo from the range but I didn’t notice a huge difference when using the purple shampoo with a different conditioner compared to using this one with the shampoo.

The consistency is nice and it does have a lovely smell. I have noticed that it does help take some of the brassy tones out but if used on its own without purple shampoo first I’m not sure if it would- I must try that the next time I wash my hair! It has a good price for the product as it’s not expensive.

I loved the shampoo it worked wonders but as I said I’m not sure how much of a difference was down to the conditioner itself however it does help contribute to making my hair brighter! It may not tone my hair but it brightens the blond!.

Having received the sample bottles of the Bleach Reincarnation Shampoo and Conditioner – I’m very impressed, my daughter also started using it on her curly hair and found it better than her usual curly hair type shampoo ( not cheap either!) so I bought the standard bottles.

Extremely happy with the results and love the pump action bottles as you can monitor how much or little you use and you don’t need a lot! Will definitely purchase again.

I got this in my beauty box and I have to say, this will be my go to conditioner from now on. I have bleached hair, and following some SSRI treatment I’ve had issues with breakage and hair loss. Throw in the menopause and well.

this leaves my hair feeling much stronger, like it used to do. The texture is much improved and it’s glossy again. Definite win.

I have natural wavy/curly hair and I am nearly 70 years old. I have tried quite a few shampoos and conditioners over time but I must say after using these products,ONCE,my hair feels and looks amazing.

Will definitely keep using.
