20 Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Platinum Hair (2023 Updated)

I have been using this shampoo on and off for countless years. Now and again I buy another purple shampoo but nothing ever compares to Paul Mitchell platinum blonde and I promised myself to stop wasting my money and only use this from now on.

My other holy grail shampoo is Paul Mitchell’s Forever Blonde. I have very long blonde coloured hair and always get compliments for it Paul Mitchell products are the best shampoos I have ever tried.

This a luxurious shampoo. While it is rather expensive a little bit goes a long way! I have course thick hair and have been looking for a shampoo to calm it down. This works! The only downside is that it is fragranced.

I make a point of buying unscented products because of asthma. Wish they made an unscented product.

I have such weird hair. It gets dirty sooooo fast. I literally can’t go 24 hours with clean hair. This shampoo has changed that completely! I can go just about 2/3 days with my hair down (which is awesome in my book).

This is the best shampoo I’ve ever used. It’s a little pricey and I go through shampoo so fast that I can’t afford to buy a new bottle every two weeks. But i would definitely try this shampoo if your hair gets greasy super fast like mine!.

AMAAAAAZING! Hands down the best shampoo I have ever used! It makes my hair so soft! I have very dry hair and this stuff works wonders on it. It’s a little hard to lather but when you do it’s so Nice! Amazing smell and a little goes a long way so it lasts a long time.

My hair is dyed a ruby/violet red and this color fades so fast. I bought this color in hope of refreshing my color which has turned into a funky dark orange red shade. I got bothe shampoo and conditioner.

First thing I noticed is the pleasant scent. I used both products and couldn’t believe the difference!! Although it wasn’t the correct shade (I was more of a burgundy), it brought the red back in such a simple process.

I highlighted a couple pieces of my hair and really liked it. I used these after I highlighted and those strands are BRIGHT!! I mean BRIGHT !! I think I’ll have to dye my hair to a darker red before I go back to using this set.

But other than that, I love this product. It helps to keep the red without having to constantly re-dye and damage your hair. I’m pleased!.

I received a sample of this shampoo from PINCHme and MoroccanOil. I have level 8-10 blonde with highlights throughout. My hair is past midback and the. 35fl oz sample was more than enough to coat all my locks.

I have not used a purple shampoo in a little bit, so I exceeded the recommended 3-5min processing time and waited 10min. I use purple shampoos frequently in the past, so I recommend performing a strand test to prevent over toning your hair to purple.

I rinsed the shampoo out of my hair in cool water. Normally my hair is a brittle, tangled, mess, but not this time! I could actually run my wet brush through it BEFORE conditioner and let me tell you this never happens when using a toning shampoo.

I followed with MoroccanOil’s Blonde Enhancing Purple Conditioner for 5min, again rinsing in cool water. After towel-drying my hair I used their leave-in conditioner and MO Treatment Light (a godsend) followed by a quick blowout.

Final thoughts. I am super impressed with the results of the Blonde Perfecting line. I will definitely be purchasing the full size of both products. They are affordable, leave my hair soft, and I see and others around me commented on the amazing results.

I love everything they put out. I promise. you will too.

I did receive this as a free sample from PinchMe, but I promise to be honest. 🙂 First, as with all Moroccanoil products I’ve tried, this smells so good! A lot of purple shampoos leave my hair feeling dry – this one does not (I also used the conditioner after shampooing).

I have dark blonde hair with highlights and sometimes low lights. I don’t have a huge problem turning brassy, but this used every couple of weeks keeps my tone just right. I prefer icier/whiter blonde highlights over yellow, and this keeps it that way.

I like how my hair feels after washing with this shampoo and matching conditioner – it is soft and manageable without being weighed down. Once I’m done with my current set of another brand, I’ll definitely be considering this one.

My only concern is that as I only need to use it a couple times per month, I would worry that it could go off before I used it all, but have not had that happen with other Moroccanoil products so it might not be a concern.

I’m so happy I tried this and look forward to purchasing! I would definitely recommend! I have fairly straight, fine hair that is prone to dryness and flatness as well as frizz in the humidity.

During the warmer months I enjoy brightening my dull look by getting highlights done. Going from my natural dark brown locks to a nice light blonde can be a long process. My hair can get these yellowish tones to it where I need a toning product in between salon visits.

I have tried several different purple shampoos and other leave in toner sprays to combat the brassiness but they have either dried my hair out or didn’t work as I had hoped. After trying Matrix’s Total Results, So Silver Toning Spray I was immediately impressed with its multiple benefits.

This toning spray is the best I have ever used not only because it tones and neutralizes the unwanted yellow in my highlights but because this product also protects and cares for my hair. With Matrix So Silver Toning Spray, I have a good hair day everyday. I would recommend grabbing a bottle for yourself and have a good hair day too, everyday.

I mean that. It’s been a while since my last salon visit, and my naturally dark hair was highlighted but recently it had started to develop an orangey-red hue from sun & UV exposure, and reminded me of Neapolitan ice cream with all the colors in it.

This saved my hair. I was DREADING having to dye it brown again or spending hundreds of dollars on a new blonde service. So I decided to try this. The bad reviews I read stated that it made the hair much darker & covered more than color corrected, which is what I wanted – my natural icy brown hair back.

The Dark Envy mask 100% delivered my desired results. If I can figure out how to add photos, then I will! To be fair, I did not follow the instructions and just sectioned my dry hair then applied it with a brush as with hair dye (while wearing gloves – this product WILL stain) then clipped it back & let it sit for 15 minutes.

I washed it out with Brass Off shampoo, then reapplied the mask to the length of my wet hair and waited five minutes, rinsed then dried my hair. It is very cool toned, as the product starts out dark green then develops into a deep indigo blue, and some of my previously lighter pieces do have a blue-ish cast to them as a result but I expect it to lessen with a couple washes.

This can be a con for some, if you have very light or bright highlights and want to keep them then this is not the product for you – I’d suggest the Brass Off correcting mask instead. Overall, I am super happy with the results! Will repurchase when my bottle is empty.

This is my #firstimpression of their Shampoo, Conditioner, and Reviving Leave In Treatment. I used this the first time with no additional products. Usually I use two additional leave in treatments after towel drying my hair, and a hair oil once dry.

I wanted to evaluate these products on their own. The products had a faint clean scent that I liked. The shampoo has a creamy lather which I enjoyed; I am not a fan of a non-lathering shampoo. The conditioner states to use a quarter-sized amount, I used a little more than that and so happy to report that it allowed me to run my fingers through my wet hair while still in the shower to detangle! I need my conditioner to do that in order to give it a high rating.

Once towel dried I was able to brush through my hair without having tangles so that was nice, and after applying the leave in, my brush slipped through my hair just as easy. After drying, my hair felt extremely soft and not weighed down.

Overall, I was delighted by all of the products and how they performed. In the future would I repurchase, Yes! Adding to my Ulta favorites NOW!. My hair profile (it’s all mine, no extensions 😃) it’s been colored and bleached for over 20 years, so I probably have abused my hair just a little over the years; hence, why it’s so dry and I need very moisturizing hair products or I can’t get a comb through it.

If you are like me and have seen this range when out shopping and was unsure whether to try them I would say, try them especially when they are offer. If I hadn’t watched an empties episode on Caroline Hiron’s YouTube channel, I wouldn’t have bought it when they were on offer in my local Boots.

The shampoo is more of a jelly consistency than a liquid which is a plus point as you are less likely to spill it when using it in the shower – I am that person who spills shampoo in the shower then slips on it.

My hubby now stays upstairs when I am in the shower in case I have an accident. Right back to the shampoo. You only need a small amount of the shampoo to get a decent lather for a first wash. Some shampoos I have used in the past require a lot of product to obtain the lather that this shampoo gave me.

The shampoo rinses out well and my hair is squeaky clean. I always shampoo my hair twice as it is thick and like double cleansing my skin at night I have the opinion that the first shampoo removes any pollution and product, the second wash makes sure that my hair is clean.

Each time I shampoo my hair I take time to massage the product into my scalp to make sure that my scalp is clean too. I have dark brown hair that is going salt and pepper, to enhance my grey hairs I picked this version of shampoo, when I have run out I will be purchasing a different one to try as I like the way my hair feels after I have washed my hair – it is soft and manageable, I don’t have frizzy hair it is smooth and nourished.

Some shampoos I have used in the past have left crunchy patches of hair especially at the back, this shampoo hasn’t. The shampoo has a faint fragrance another plus point for me as I don’t like heavily fragranced shampoos.

I bought this on sale at ShopRite about a month ago after eyeing it up for about another month. Normally, I use all natural hair products and this one appears to be safe in that sense. First off, the smell is amazing.

Not too strong but definitely noticable during and after washing. It smells like true lavender and delicately scents my hair. The shampoo is more of a jelly-like conditioner. Kinda like when you get a bottle of aloe after sun care stuff.

I wasn’t sure about it at first, but now I like it. It’s easier to judge how much you are using. It sudses up really really nice and my hair feels, literally, squeaky clean once I’m done. Very nice. I always follow it with the conditioner of the same line.

Companies create these duos to work with eachother and that squeaky clean is nice but without the conditioner, it would be dry. Well, the conditioner is amazing, as well. It’s creamy and slick and gets rid of my tangles.

I have very long “grombre” hair. The middle to ends are previously died an Auburn , which after letting the grey grow out for a year, has become brassy, gold, gross. This product line has toned down the brassiness, for sure.

I actually like my hair right now I didn’t notice any difference in the brassiness until I used the product a few times. probably about 5 times.

This shampoo does a great job of cleansing without stripping your hair and leaving it a dried out tangled mess. Leathers great and rinses out easily. Although it wasn’t drying on my normal scalp it could possibly be drying if your scalp is already dry.

It also did a nice job at toning down the brassy look. The only complaint I have is the fragrance. I can’t even describe the smell but I didn’t find it pleasant at all. Luckily it is a rinse out product so I can deal with it long enough to wash my hair.

My favorite shampoo and conditioner is without a doubt pureology but this is the only that was not the best for my hair type. I got it cuz my hair was blonde at the time but it was not gentle for bleached hair, it left my hair knotted.

It also has a blue color that I think is supposed to tone the brassy tones down. Maybe for someone without fine curly hair it works, not me.

This shampoo is always a go to! I have used it for years, and plan to use it as long as I can buy it. It cost more than what most want to spend, but it’s concentrated delivers! If you have any blonde highlights this is your shampoo! It’s a violet blue but it’s safe to use everyday unlike most shampoos to keep the yellow brass out.

It smells amazing, keeps my dark fresh, and my blonde looking vibrant! I’m so glad I found his brand. They all work amazing, and I love mixing this with the platinum shampoo and the hydrating shampoo conditioner in the blue bottle.

The platinum blonde leave in conditioner is amazing!! I will save that for another review. The platinum collection works best when you use all 3 products, but again, it’s safe to use all everyday.

DON’T USE IF YOU’VE HAD A KERATIN TREATMENT! Having recently had a keratin treatment, I did a bit of research on the correct type of shampoo to use. Pureology’s own website states this is a ‘sulfate free and salt free gentle cleansing shampoo’ so I purchased it on that basis.

Thankfully, I checked the ingredients on the bottle once it had arrived. sodium chloride (aka SALT!) is lurking in there! So, I’m having to return the shampoo and conditioner as I can’t use it. I’ve informed Pureology that their website is misleading, they’re denying they claim it’s salt free.

anyway, that’s a whole other story! Happy with service from JML though, their prices are some of the best out there and delivery was quick. I also used their live chat function to discuss how to go about returning the shampoo for a refund and they were really helpful :).

Situation: I bought this shampoo and conditioner on a whim after getting vivid hair color over my balayaged hair Background: I have bleached/colored, heat damaged hair-and I also have super hard well water at home so my hair is dry and dull.

Assessment: the texture of the shampoo is a little runny but has a pearl to it and smells like cotton candy (very delicious). The shampoo has a ultra light lather-but still cleans my hair. The matching conditioner was very thick and had the perfect amount of slip! These products also made my hair SO SHINY!! I would like to add this shampoo and conditioner didn’t strip any of the vivid colors I have in my hair either.

Recommendation: I absolutely recommend these products. If you like your shampoo to smell good, make your hair shiny and keep your hair color fresh. then maybe check out this particular product. Footnote: I purchased the smaller bottles from ulta, so I cannot attest to the continuity in quality of the liter sized bottles.

I used this shampoo and the conditioner on my unbleached color-treated hair for a couple of years and it worked okay. But ever since I had my hair bleached for the first time for a balayage a few months ago it hasn’t been working well for me at all.

The shampoo makes my hair extremely tangled and rough feeling when washing it. The conditioner does still make it feel somewhat smooth but not nearly as much as before. My hair is also so tangled after that I can’t brush it until I’ve put in a different leave-in conditioner.

My hair color also doesn’t last very long, it doesn’t “color charge” it at all. Overall, if you just color your natural hair this shampoo and conditioner might work okay for you, though you can probably find something better.

But if you’ve had your hair bleached at all, I do not recommend this product.

I have healthy thick red color-treated hair. I have never found a bad Kenra product. until now. This line of color charge shampoo & this conditioner is just awful! The shampoo is SO drying & the conditioner does zero to alleviate that dryness.

The conditioner is thicker than the watery white shampoo (like milk in a bottle), but neither have any redeeming qualities – from consistency to scent to effect – nothing is good about either. Made my hair feel like straw, so I did a deep mask to put some moisture back into my hair.

Returned the conditioner & shampoo and went back to my previous brand. Side note – At this posting reviews are at least 3 months old – Why is Ulta so far behind posting reviews?.

Sunset Blvd is my daily go-to shampoo. I have fine, dry, light/medium blonde hair, and this shampoo does a great job at keeping the brass and dullness away. It is a light iridescent lavender color and washes and rinses well.

It leaves my hair feeling hydrated, healthy, and maintained.

I purchased both the shampoo and conditioner after my hair stylist recommended them. I love the smell and do think they help keep my highlights bright, however as far as conditioning goes I don’t think it’s the best.

My hair is still tangled and tough to brush after showering. I’ll likely buy the shampoo again but not the conditioner due to this.

I always love ion products for coloring and toning my hair after bleaching, and this aftercare shampoo and conditioner line proved to be the same. almost. The shampoo I found worked very well to keep my color bright and non brassy, but it left my hair so dry, even with the conditioner after.

I started to mix some of the shampoo in with my Loreal Dream Lengths shampoo and it helped a lot. The conditioner is great for my hair all over, non greasy, conditions well, smells great. But because I’m working on healing my hair in certain areas I ended up using the Ion conditioner on my roots, top of my head to about midway down, where I would add the Loreal Dream Lengths conditioner, which as I state in my review of that Loreal conditioner, it leaves my roots and upper head hair greasy but perfectly midway down to my roots, so it’s actually a perfect mix for me.

I would use the Ion conditioner all over with not one issue, and sometimes do, but am still working to repair my ends. Overall great product line from Ion. My mom now uses it too and I will buy again.

I use Arctic fox hair color to keep my hair. A vibrant mixture of purple and red. Red is a notoriously difficult color to keep in your hair because of its molecular size compared to other colors. It doesn’t lock into the cuticle as quickly and this product helps with that.

I not only use it right after coloring my hair, I also use it beyond that. Rather than washing my hair every single day which would strip the color right out of it, I rinse my hair and then condition it with this product.

This allows me to keep my hair looking good until the roots grow in and I have to take care of that. Keeps my color from fading quickly.

I feel mixed emotions about this product. At first I love it due to the quality and the price. But then it got hard to find in store due to the pandemic. But then I was able to get it online but I just wasn’t feeling it anymore.

Idk if I got one that was a bad Batch but the consistency of this product was very jelly like and thick. I felt like it was also hard for it for foam up easy. So therefore I’m moving on to a new shampoo.

I would recommend this if you are looking for something cheap. But other than that look around for your options.

Miriam Quevedo Platinum Diamonds Luxurious Mask is a rich and thick conditioner that may require a little bit of effort while dispensing it from the bottle, but is still so worth it. Very, very little is needed for coverage due to the thick consistency.

Once it is on wet hair, the creamy conditioner spreads easily. The scent is wonderful and although it is a bit pricey, the bottle will last a long time. Dermstore has a rewards program that awards dollars toward any purchases, including Miriam Quevedo products.

I highly recommend this conditioner and also the Platinum Diamonds shampoo as the perfect accompaniment.

I have tried numerous shampoos and conditioners over the past couple of years to help with my aging hair issues. So far, this is the best I have found. Since COVID, I stopped coloring my hair and haven’t had it trimmed in seven months.

I don’t know if that has been brave or masochistic, la sigh. The good news, I was surprised to discover; I’m not as gray as I previously thought. However, the texture of my hair is awful and it is thinning.

This product is by far the best I have tried for my issues. I hope sharing my issues may provide insight to how the product may be of use to someone else.

This Nexxus Toning purple shampoo is by far the best one I’ve ever used. I have blonde streaks in my hair and this most definitely keeps the color looking good and new. I love how I don’t have to use a lot to get it looking good either.

I only use this once a week because my hair is natural curly and very long and washing my hair can be a task followed by using regular conditioner. I was surprised by the smell it doesn’t smell anything like chemicals but yet a pleasant light fruity scent.

I noticed my hair being more shiny and moisturized. I most definitely needed something to help with dullness and this shampoo right here really exceed my expectations. I highly recommend this Nexxus color toning shampoo.

I am really liking the results from this Nexxus purple shampoo. I have salt and pepper hair with the majority of the top of my hair white! Over time, due to heat, products and the sun, the white hair starts to yellow.

Purple shampoo is a must to keep that away. This shampoo is thick and creamy. It lathered really well and I let it sit while I did the rest of my shower. When I rinsed I noticed that my hair did not feel stripped, like I have felt with other brands.

After drying my hair felt silky and bright! I definitely will continue to use this!.

To be honest I think it left my hair more brassier than it should be. It was a baylage that needed some help because it was getting brassy so I picked this product. I regret it because I think it made the blonde in my hair darker and brassier.

When you have product in your hand its like a purple/blue color, once you have it in your hair it’s purple for a couple seconds and once you lather it into your hair the shampoo’s soap bubbles it’s white? If that makes sense.

I feel like it does nothing but make my hair dryer and more brassier. I would pass on this purple shampoo.

I typically buy this product directly from Scruples but it was out of stock so I bought from this vendor. I used it today and I could tell the difference right away. The one I got directly from Scruples had thick consistency and high purple pigmentation.

I could see purple on the shower floor when I rinse out my hair. This one had thin consistency, very light purple color, and had a different scent. It was like regular shampoo only.

The salon that I go to use this brand for my bleached blonde hair. I have never heard of this brand until they introduced me to it. My hair is naturally dark brown and I bleached it to silvery grey. This product is amazing at keeping my hair the bright silver I want it to be!! It also does not dry out my hair as other purple shampoos would.

5min in your hair has great results but I like to leave it in for 10 as a personal preference. It’s reasonably priced and a huge bottle! Worth it and currently my go to if you prefer a cheaper option to Fanola :).

I am a newbie to the whole “purple shampoo” thing as I just recently went platinum with my hair. I did a lot of research online to find the right one for me and this Scruples product kept coming up in everything I read.

I decided to take a chance and try it. If I hated it, I’d move on to something else. Well, I can say that I definitely do not hate it! I love the this stuff!! It is fantastic and works like a charm. Right now I am using it once a week as that is all I need.

As soon as I start seeing my hair get brassy or yellowish, I use this and voila, all gone! I love it. It also is nice that it smells amazing. I do need to find a good conditioner to go along with it as I wish this had a pairing conditioner.

When I am not using this, I use Clenditioner by Kara Color everyday. It is a cleansing conditioner and I really like that as well. This Scruples stuff is amazing and I highly recommend it!.

Perfect for grey and blonde hair. I told my stylist I wanted to go grey about a year ago, and she put in blonde highlights to help with the process. Fast forward about nine months later, and I was a grey and brunette mix with orange ends.

(Yuck!) I started watching YouTube videos on how to take care of grey hair, and that’s how I learned about purple shampoo. (I’ve never been blonde before. ) I was also trying to stick with the Curly Girl Method products and found this brand to be the only purple shampoo on the list.

The first time I used it, along with the conditioner, I was shocked. My teenage daughter even noticed the difference when I walked downstairs. My orange tips turned blonde within one use! I’ve been using this product about twice a month for a few months now, and I’ve been getting compliments on the color of my grey.

With Covid, a lot of women are going grey and are a bit behind me on their growth, and people are saying they want their color to be like mine. These are strangers commenting on the color of my grey! I find this easy to rotate with my other moisturizing shampoos, and often use this shampoo with a hair mask in the shower.

With the low price, I have NOTHING bad to say about this shampoo!.

I’ve been using purple shampoos for years & for a drugstore option, it’s not bad as I believe I’ve found an effective way of getting the most brightening & toning out of this so long as you don’t mind the extra step.

I recommend washing hair with any regular shampoo 1st to get the hair clean & this will help it to better absorb the purple pigment. Now blot hair so it’s not dripping wet & apply shampoo in sections starting at the top using a bit more of the purple shampoo than you normally would.

Now as you’re starting to work it into the hair, do not work it into a full rich lather – the idea is to work it in thoroughly while trying to keep the shampoo as purple as possible, this will help the pigmen to penetrate the hair.

Now do the same to the middle, & ends of the hair – again, do not work it into a full rich lather. You’re going to allow shampoo sit on your hair as you continue with your shower – clip longer hair up so it’s not inadvertently rinsed.

Let it sit like this for a few minutes, at least 3 & up to like 5. I wouldn’t do this w/a high end purple shampoo like Redken or something – it would turn your hair a grayish purple color, but this product is nowhere near as rich w/purple pigment.

So if you follow these steps, you’ll see a difference. Then just rinse & condition as usual.

I started using this recently on my preschooler’s light blonde hair. I didn’t realize how quickly/easily blonde hair starts looking dull and discolored until she was born (no one in my family is blonde)! I wanted to try something that would keep her hair looking bright, shiny, and white-gold WITHOUT toning all of the color out.

This does just that. I use it twice a week -without the conditioner- and leave it on for a couple minutes. I also like that it doesn’t weigh her fine hair down, but still moisturizes and detangles enough that we don’t need conditioner.

The shampoo is a deep violet with a subtle pearlescent sheen. It lathers into lavender suds, but doesn’t seem to stain. I’m not sure how to describe the scent, but it’s wonderful! My daughter’s hair still smells great the next morning.

If you’re looking for something to really tone your hair, I don’t think this is it. However, if you’re a natural blonde just looking to rid your hair of any discoloration I think this would be great!.

While this product didn’t work for me, there is a happy ending to my tale so I’m still giving this lovely conditioner 5 stars. I bought this curly hair product for my straight hair simply hoping to add a boost of moisture to my hair while also thinking that the conditioner’s scent would smell good.

The smell is divine – the soft coconut and other refreshing scents recalls memories of soft white sand, warm ocean water, and relaxation. I felt like my shower had turned into a tropical oasis. My hair felt so soft, moisturized, and silky.

This conditioner smoothed beautifully into my hair and spread easily to coat each strand in moisturizing goodness. As I washed it out, I could feel my hair detangle effortlessly between my fingers. Unfortunately, it was around this time that I started to feel a burning sensation on my scalp.

After I finished rinsing, I checked my scalp in the mirror – red, irritated patches had appeared on my scalp where I had accidentally rubbed some of the product into my skin. This is not uncommon for me, sadly – I have very easily irritated skin! Just to make sure, I rubbed a tiny amount of conditioner into the skin of my inner elbow as a test.

An angry red patch appeared minutes later. My skin clearly disagreed with something in the ingredients. I gave the conditioner to my sister to try and she loves it – she says it makes her hair beautifully shiny and soft, and her skin isn’t bothered in the slightest by the product.

This conditioner will be pure heaven for someone who doesn’t have skin as sensitive as mine. I’m so sad that I can’t use this conditioner (curse my sensitive skin!), but I’m thrilled that it’s working so well for my sister.

This shampoo and conditioner is the best I’ve ever used. My hair is baby fine, curly, easily frizzy, and easily weighed down by hair products. This stuff works. I have an oily scalp and because my hair is fine and high porosity, I have to wash it daily.

I shampoo every day with this, it’s cleansing enough to clean my hair and scalp but never drying. I let the conditioner sit for 2 minutes. My hair has body, curl definition, and no frizz. Love this stuff and it smells pleasantly like fake bananas while wet.

I can’t smell it on my hair once it’s dry. I wish I’d had this all my life. It’s such a perfect balance. It never weighs my hair down, which is rare for fine hair. You don’t need too much of the conditioner.

I actually go through the shampoo faster, which never happens.

The revitalizing shampoo and conditioner leaves my hair so soft and shiny. I have 2b waves but this gives me 2a beach waves with some frizz day one. It looks pretty. But at the end of the day my hair falls straight and the next day I’ve lost all my waves.

This is without stylers. It does weigh my hair down a bit and that’s why I lose my waves. Smells really good and I’m still really shocked it makes my hair so shiny and so soft! Especially since there are no silicones and no polyquats in this line.

The conditioner bottles are way too small, I’m am a heavy handed conditioner user and this would get really expensive to do a 2-1 ratio or 3-1 ratio of conditioners per shampoo. So I don’t know I’m the long run.

With shampoo a little goes a long way.

This is my new forever go too! Be careful it can stain hands and nails. But it’s exactly like a toner. Platinum or light blonde it works for both (my daughter and i both use it. She is platinum with pink ends, I’m light ash blonde mixed w platinum).

It is worth the price point for the set. I org purchased a trial size and immediately purchased the large size. It is pigmented and i do suggest a strong conditioner or the evo blond conditioner but it made my hair feel healthy not dry like other toning shampoo has.

Start slow because 3 mins left my hair a Grey white and it lasts for WEEKS! The only downside is the staining but using in the shower didn’t cause any issues. I had some staining on my hands when helping my teenager do the waist length platinum hair but it did come off my hands and nails quicker than my hair.

This product definitely added an extra month or two between bleaching or toning if not more!.

The ONLY purple shampoo I have found that is such a dark purple that doesn’t dry my hair out or turn my hair purple. I have been blonde my entire life I have tried everything. I wash with shampoo, apply this for 5 minute once a week then follow with regular conditioner.

I was looking for a new shampoo to give thickness and volume to my fine, straight, color-treated hair. This wasn’t it. The fragrance is nice, but the shampoo texture is a little different at first, as it takes a little longer to develop a lather.

As I began to rinse my hair, I could feel the ends starting to tangle. My hair felt rough, like steel wool. I immediately followed with Kenra Professional Platinum Thickening Conditioner, which helped soften my hair, but it was still quite tangled.

Kenra Professional Blow Dry Mist was moderately effective on the tangles. Quite a disappointment overall. All 3 products were purchased and used together, and I used them twice. My har did have a little more volume, but it wasn’t shiny, and now the ends are very dry.

I wish I had saved the packaging in order to return them all. Lesson learned the hard way.

This is one of the worst shampoos I have ever tried. It doesn’t really feel like a shampoo when you use it (doesn’t lather up like normal shampoos) and it does the complete opposite of what is promises.

It left my hair looking thin, stringy, and weighed down. None of my styling held throughout the day and within thirty minutes of styling, my hair was straight, limp, and greasy looking. I thought maybe my hair just had to get used to the new product, so I continued to use it for several days.

It felt like a residue was building up on my hair, and the stringiness, limpness, and thinness continued to get worse. It’s the first time I have ever thrown a full shampoo bottle in the trash. If you have fine or thin hair and are looking for a great thickening or volumizing option, DO NOT choose this one!.

I bought and used roughly 4 bottles of this shampoo (and the conditioner) it gives the hair a textured feeling after the wash due to it not being a moisturizing shampoo but a thickening shampoo. It’s did the works for my thin, fine hair.

However, I did notice some fall out while using this shampoo. Each time I washed my hair, I’d notice a good bit of hair coming out. Since I’ve changed shampoos, I don’t have any fallout so I know it came from this particular shampoo.

Such a shame though, because this is affordable and actually does work for thickening!!.
