20 Best Shampoo And Conditioner For Hair Regrowth (2023 Updated)

I like this shampoo. I lost a lot of hair with menopause, and this shampoo gives my hair body without weighing it down. I try to only wash it every other day, so as not to lose more hair, and I only use about a quarter size amount.

It doesn’t take much. I don’t know that it’s helping to regrow hair, but it is nourishing for my hair and I’ve had family members say how shiny and healthy my hair looks lately. I’m going to keep using it, because I’m happy with the results.

It does have a thickening effect, making it appear to have more thickness and volume.

I have been buying this shampoo since the beginning of the year for my son as he was seeing his hair thinning. He’s been using this religiously on a daily basis. His hair stopped falling out and he’s not finding it on his pillow case in the morning.

I normally would purchase this particular shampoo for my son on another site but they really shot up the prices on it and was happy to find it here for the normal price I normally would pay. Will continue to purchase here from now on.

I really havent noticed any difference yet, but Ive only used it a couple of times. I received another set recently that I did not order & Im not sure if I was charged for it. If this is a subscription for a regular shipment, I dont want it.

I dont use these products every day so I dont need the products as often. I tried to find the subscription to lengthen the time time between shipments but cant locate it.

Love this product, it made my dry and brittle hair deel softer, so glad i tried it

the shamoo is good but the conditioner is to thick had to take the pump off and add water cuz it wouldn’t come out of the bottle

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product ! I have very thin hair especially around my scalp. This helped give me volume and made my hair so soft, smooth and straight. Plus it’s all natural ingredients. I would highly recommend.

I have received both the DHT shampoo, and Biotin conditioner. These products work very well together. The shampoo leaves my hair looking and feeling very clean and shiny, and my scalp feeling light and uncluttered.

I seem to be seeing less hairs in the drain so far and will continue to use and buy the shampoo. The conditioner makes my hair feel very soft and does not leave a residue like other consumers I have used.

I would highly recommend giving Shiny Leaf products a try.

I absolutely love how light and soft my hair feels. My hair has been falling a lot for the last 3 months. I even see it thinning at the top where it parts. When I started using the shampoo and conditioner, the 1st and 2nd use were almost about the same in my ongoing hairloss.

The 3rd wash I noticed a slight difference in less hair falling out in the shower and by the 4th wash I couldn’t believe not one strand, if that, had fallen off. The shampoo works like a clarifying shampoo making your hair feel like it stripped all the buildup, oils, dandruff, & residue off your hair, so it doesn’t leave it feeling slick or super silky.

Although when you add the conditioner and rinse it off after 2 mins your hair feels so light, silky, and smooth running your fingers through it.

I have used the castor oil, castor oil hair set, biotin hair set and dht blocker hair set. I like them all. The dht blocker is great for my son who was thinning and losing hair in his early twenties and had to take several steps to hair recovery, this hair set has been a wonderful addition to his hair recovery.

The biotin set feels great in your hair and the conditioner smells great. The castor oil set makes your hair feel overall healthy and contributes a lot to ‘a good hair day’. None of the products leave you with heavy feeling dull hair.

The castor oil itself is just plain great! I use it on my skin and eyelashes. Good products that I recommend easily to others.

Three years ago, I committed to Monat products knowing that it was a time committment. Instead of washing up/shaving/etc. while your conditioner does its thing, Monat creates THREE different times when a product sits in your hair for 1-2 minutes.

The process is as follows. shampoo and let sit 1-2 minutes, rinse; shampoo again and let sit another 1-2 minutes, rinse; condition and let sit, rinse. PROS: amazing manageability, lightweight and bouncy hair, good fragrance, clarifying, healthier hair with time.

CONS: if your hair/makeup routine already would benefit from some shortcuts, this brand takes you in the exact opposite direction. I have never shaved so regularly in my life as I did while I was using Monat regularly (to kill time in the shower).

I would recommend as long as you are aware that it is a time suck. but it is worth it if you stick with it.

This shampoo, along with the conditioner, did seem to help the regrowth of my hair a little bit. I believe it does do it’s job. However, I find it to be very expensive compared to other hair growth brands like Bosley for instance.

I was a VIP member for Monat so I even got the discount and with shipping the system was often over $100. Great products, just not necessarily worth the price I’m comparison to other similar systems on the market.

I will note for people reading this review that my hair is thin and fine. The thinnest part of my hair is on top. Note that I am not very photogenic. I also recently started using a different shampoo so this picture may be a mix of results.

I used this product exclusively for 2 years. It made my hair extremely thin, which I didn’t realized until I saw photos of myself. My hair fell out in literal clumps. There’s no “detox” phase because my hair fell out consistently for 2 years.

I used this shampoo all last year and was super happy with it. It seemed like my hair got thicker and my boyfriend (who would sometimes shampoo my hair) commented on it seeming fuller as well. I have recently moved and started a masters degree so I didn’t get around to ordering a new batch when I ran out a few months ago.

The stress of moving and starting a masters degree resulted in a pretty big hair loss. This created additional stress as I was stressing about the hair loss. I just ordered the shampoo again and started using it last week.

It has taken some of the stress out of my daily life, as I know that my hair is getting proper treatment. I am now much more optimistic (in regard to my hair) towards exam period and the accompanying stress that is coming up.

After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. I have very fine hair, usually greasy. This shampoo make them EXTREMELY DRY, to the point that even after using lots of conditioner for 2 mins,(otherwise there is no way you can put your hands or comb through them)they are still dry and look terrible.

Not sure if it has made any difference also, I have used it for 3 weeks now, but I feel I cannot take the state it leaves my hair for much longer. like dry dead hay. And the search for a working shampoo continues.

Mother’s father was bald by age 30. I was headed there myself until I started using this shampoo. My hair stopped falling out and my hairline seems to be holding. I have not seen much regrowth after a year of use, but I’m just happy I’m not bald lol.

I am starting scalp massages (in combination with this shampoo) which have been shown to regrow hair. Something about muscles on the scalp have reduced blood flow and become scar tissue, there by hair cannot grow.

Anyway, this stuff has kept me from being bald by age 30, wohoo!.

I was thoroughly disappointed to receive a product that was marketed as having few ingredients, and generally being beneficial to combat hair loss, only to discover a long list of chemicals under the ingredients list.

Whether it be the dyes, surfactants, or derivatives of SLS, this product does little to stand alone amongst other shampoos on the market. Being a Chemist, I know and understand that many of these chemicals, in the shampoo specifically, are surfactants that DIRECTLY lead to the removal of healthy oils your hair needs in order to maintain its strength and growth.

Overall, the feel of the shampoo also was a disappointment. It leaves the hair feeling stiff and riddled with chemicals. At the $50 price point for both shampoo and conditioner, it appears the consumers of these products are yet another example of falling victim to marketers.

I ordered 2 of these, and was quite happy with the shampoo, since it made my hair feel alive and bouncy and without heavy feel. But the 2nd bottle I ordered suddenly the color wasnt off white or creamy white – it was weird brownish caramel color!! I was shocked to see suddenly the shamppo didnt look the way it was.

Instead some weird colored shampoo came out. Unless they changed the formula – why would the color be so different?? Or did they in fact change the formula or smthng and now ALL the shampoos have now this caramel brownish color??? What happened here?.

Haven’t been using long enough to say if it grows hair back BUT i’ve used 4 times and it has helped my scalp issues ( sore bumps). I was using a shampoo that grew hair BUT the seller suddenly quadrupled the price to out of my range.

so L’emarie was half of that plus an extra oz. I found online at wallyworld. Nice botanical fragrance, with a slight cooling effect on the scalp. I’ll try to check back if possible to advise on any hair growth.

Shampoo has good consistency and is easily applied- you don’t need to use much each time. Hair feels cleansed and soft. After a few weeks, I could feel the difference- my hair felt thicker and less brittle.

It seems to have gained a little in length also. Hopefully the results will get even better the longer I use it.

Wow!!!! This shampoo is amazing. Leaves hair soft and manageable. I had Covid in January and got the very delayed (3+ months) side effect of massive hair loss. My hair is very thick, natural body but fine.

I used this after I received it for five days straight, like the instructions suggest. Used the thinning serum at night and washed again the next morning. My hair loss has REALLY slowed to almost (I believe) back to the natural daily hair loss.

I love this stuff! I just recently started using this product because my hair was coming out in chunks & my hair has always been very thick. After 2 surgery’s 3 mos apart last year I really noticed my hair thinning out around 5 mos.

post-op and every time I washed or brushed my hair or even just running my hands through my hair it would come out. I literally was in tears every time I knew that I needed to wash my hair, I just wanted it to not fall out & not see all those strands of my hair in the shower drain anymore! This has helped stop that process, also using the serum at night before I know I’m going to wash my hair the next morning.

I highly recommend this shampoo! After having Covid my hair was falling out in handfuls. I lost prob 40% of my volume. I would brush it and it would just break off. I started this along with Nutrafol supplement and my hair is SOOO much thicker! It feels stronger and it’s not falling out at all.

I’ve been using this for about a month now with theFoligain Men’s Intensive Treatment For Thinning Hair With 10% Trioxidil and I’m really impressed with the results. I have tried several thinning hair products in the past and this is the best one I have tried.

My only complaint is the design of the bottle. My bottle tended to leak from the spout in the shower so I now twist off the cap in the shower and pour from there and it no longer leaks. Other than that it’s a great product.

I cannot yet speak to the properties of stimulating hair growth but it’s a really great option to provide fuller-looking hair. I also find that my hair doesn’t fall flat on the same day of use which is really important.

Had SC of 8.4 million/ml. took this, ashwaganda (Ageless Male Max), and L-Argenine daily for 90 days and the retest showed 18.6. going to add Fenugreek to the regimen.

I’ve tried every high cost shampoo from aveda, vagamour, kerastase, oribe, Kevis and more! I’ve thrown away so much product it’s painful! This stuff works wonders for my dry, thinning hair. The shampoo detangles versus dry out and the conditioner is moisturizing – not heavy or weighted down.

I can go on and on! Will likely stick with this product and my occasional switch to pureolgy shampoo/ conditioner & leave in treatment. Still love kerastase leave in oil and hair mask occasionally, but none of the shampoos or conditioners.

Thankful I stumbled on to this product. Also tried keranique for thinning hair & sucks too! Dried out & weighted down my hair.

I only gave the Pro a four star rating because I have only been using it for a couple of months so it is too early to tell. However, I do notice that I am shedding more very fine hair as the directions stated would happen.

The Pro is easy to use though I do wish it wasn’t in such a hard helmet. A soft baseball style hat would take much less space to pack when traveling. But, the higher ratings and lower cost of the iRestore brand made it the better choice for me.

when i use doo gro on a regular basis my hair does grow faster and it does condition the hair, to much in my opinion! yrs. ago when i used this shampoo, it was not overly conditioning, wish they would’ve left it alone! i have never liked the smell of this shampoo.

i mix it with another kind of shampoo, in my hand, and together with the two, i pretty much get the results i am looking for as far as texture goes. i heavy heavy fly-away hair and conditioning shampoos weight it down to much and make the fly-aways much worse!.
