20 Best Shampoo And Conditioner Combo (2023 Updated)

Disappointed with this product. I have long, dark brown, straight, ombre, bleached balayage hair. It’s thin, but I do have a lot of hair so it’s easy for me to tell when a product feels heavy or weightless on my hair This one felt heavy sticky as if my hair was dirty and needed a wash.

Not what I’m looking for in a leave in a leave in conditioner. I currently use Pureology 21 Benefits Color Fanatic Multi-Tasking Leave In Spray. I chose this one as 1 of my choices for my FFF spring 2022 box choices.

( I definitely wish I would have picked something else) I was hoping to like this one because it’s a little cheaper but I’d much rather pay the extra $ for the Pureology one. The Pureology one actually smells better, feels weightless and leave my hair shinier softer, no competition.

Second product I’ve tried by “it’s a 10” I’ve tried the original and i still cannot seem to understand the hype behind Thier products. Maybe it’s just not for my type of hair, simply feels way to heavy and sticky for me.

I replenished my stock with two bottles of the pure-performance conditioner (since they STILL haven’t brought back the Liter size to match the shampoo I use). I’ve been using this product for over 15 years, and the two bottles I received are significantly different.

Very light colored, very runny, and don’t even have the same characteristics/smell. Either the formula was changed, the wrong product got bottled, or there was a bad batch. I won’t be buying again if this is the product I receive.

I bought two bottles of the shampoo and one of the conditioner. Within a couple weeks I wound up with horrible itchy scalp and dandruff. Waste of money. I’m in Ohio and everyone here fights a dry scalp in the winter, but this caused dandruff in the summer which has never happened to me.

As a family we spend lots of money at Aveda and am truly disappointed with this.

This product I bought for a great deal at sam’s club, but boy did my hair not take well to it. I do dye and bleach my hair often, so I usually need something with more hydration properties, which this one claimed to have.

Now, when I bought this it was during a time when I was letting my natural hair grow out and wasn’t processing it as much, but I still tried to keep it hydrated. Unfortunately, this combo just made my hair feel waxy and I found that it was less frizzy but heavier.

I have naturally wavy hair but this made it look almost straight because it was weighing it down so much. First time I thought I must not have washed it all out but by wash number 7 I realized it was just the formula.

Gave the rest of it to a friend. My hair did not like this so for me this product is a no-go.

I haven’t used Tresemmé products in quite a while and am happy that we’ve crossed paths once again. This shampoo comes in a 900ml bottle. It has a very lovely uplifting and refreshing scent and has a nice creamy texture.

It lathers up very nicely and I feel that it cleans my hair quite thoroughly. My hair is quite dry at the ends and this helped to balance the moisture in my hair and give it a healthy shine. It’s great value for money and I would recommend it for daily use if needed.

The one thing I’m not a big fan of is the way it’s dispensed from the bottle. I prefer a pump so I don’t have to hold it in the shower as it is quite heavy to hold when new. However it’s not a big deal breaker.

I will definitely repurchase this in future.

Aloe Vera grows in my backyard and have it available at any time to create my own concoction for so many things but to have this as a shampoo and conditioning right out the bottle at any time is an awesome thing as well.

Here I do not have to make it and saves a whole lot of time and it has a way longer shelf life. Having said that, this product gives my hair everything it needs and is so very good for it and my health.

It releases all the senses and leaves behind a super fresh pleasant natural fragrance, I just love this stuff and buy it often to store up on it so I won’t run out of it. At my local grocery store it is not available but there is thank goodness Online shopping.

I love this Grisi Aloe Vera Shampoo and Conditioner and will stick with it for sure. I bless the Maker of this fine Product.

Flex Extra Body Conditioner is a pretty good hair conditioner even if it isn’t my favorite. i actually haven’t seen it lately in the stores where I shop. It does work quite well on most types of hair.

It leaves the hair very soft, shiny, and much easier to comb after washing. The cost is very reasonable so it is affordable for almost any family to use for the whole family. It does smell very good too.

It is just a little thick for me so I would say to just use a little bit and it will work just right. I haven’t used it in a while but at one time I did use it a lot and really liked it. It works quite well with the Flex shampoo or any other shampoo too.

I know many people that have used it and they liked it as well, so it is a very popular product. Effectiveness This conditioner is very effective and does a wonderful job conditioning the hair and I would recommend it for most people to use on a regular basis.

I’ve been looking for a good vegan, sulfate and paraben free shampoo for ages, and it’s been a bit of a process (for reference, I have thick, 2c-3a hair, that has been damaged from multiple bleach and dye jobs).

This is my first foray into the Purology world, and I must say, I am quite impressed. Upon first glance, I found the size of this bottle to be quite disappointing, especially considering the price. However, you barely have to use any, so the bottle lasts forever! I use around a nickel-sized amount of shampoo (which is like 75% less than I would usually use with my normal shampoo), and honestly I could probably get away with using less – which is impressive because I have pretty thick hair.

It lathers incredibly well, and I love how soft and shiny the shampoo leave my hair feeling. I also suffer from seborrheic dermatitis, and typically have to switch between my normal shampoo and a medicated shampoo, but with this, I noticed that I didn’t really have to use my medicated shampoo very often; a huge plus in my book – not to mention the fact that it doesn’t strip my hair of it’s dye like other medicated shampoos always seem to do! While I personally love the smell of this shampoo, but I will say that it does smell a bit like the natural beauty aisle of a Whole Foods.

So if that scent isn’t your cup of tea, I might skip this, as the smell really lingers in your hair – like for a couple days. However, if you also use the shampoo in conjunction with it’s Conditioner counterpart – which smells very fresh and minty – you may still be able to handle the smell, as the two scents pair very well together, and you are left smelling very clean and fresh.

Ok this might be long. Sorry. I am 47 and have Hashimoto’s. I have fine, thin hair that, thanks to my illness, is slow to grow and easily damaged. I once had hair to my behind but hashimoto’s left me with ever shrinking, thinning, horribly damaged hair that got shorter with every trim.

It was above my shoulders when I finally got desperate for a solution. It took two years but I now have a routine that has given me healthier, growing hair again. So, as you can imagine, I’m reluctant to change any part of it.

But for the past week I switched my routine fully to only the pureology products I was sent for review. The shampoo had a lavender type scent which was nice, however each product in the line had a completely different scent that didn’t necessarily mesh with each other.

This shampoo was absolutely loaded with surfactants. This is an unnecessary ingredient that is only used to create a lather. As a result, you need the absolute smallest amount or you end up with a huge amount of lather.

I’m not a fan of unnecessary ingredients. I like some lather, of course but this was extreme. It seemed to cleanse my hair just fine and wasn’t too stripping. But, at the end of the day, it really didn’t cleanse or hydrate my hair more than any average shampoo would and therefore this product, to me, is a nice product, but just not worth the price.

As a part of the system it came with, my hair wasn’t any more hydrated nor healthy than my normal, less expensive products and my hair got oilier much faster which is not the same as hydration.

I promised myself that before I open the box I use up what I have at home in terms hair washing products but I simply couldn’t wait. I used the MoroccoanOil on the same day my order was delivered. So far I have only used it once and will treasure it as it was the most expensive hair products purchase I have ever made.

I wanted it so badly for at least 6 months and I am not disappointed. I have heard and read amazing reviews so I knew it would be worth the price. I am obsessed with the scent. The texture of the shampoo is very thick so I know that it it a very high quality.

I left the conditioner on my hair wrapped up in towel for 10min before washing off as I wanted to get the best results as possible. I can honestly say that the results were stunning. I can’t wait to use it again.

I know this shampoo and conditioner are a little more on the expensive side but truthfully, it is worth it. I used to have long, black, and healthy hair but last year decided to go fully bright blonde.

It damaged my hair severely and I tried everything to get my hair bouncy and restored. I tried many shampoos and conditioners, hair mask, treatments, etc. I don’t even want to think about how much money I’ve spent but I’m glad I found this set! I’ve used it for about two weeks now (I only wash my hair 2 times a week) and my hair has never looked so healthy since I bleached it! It actually looks repaired towards the end and does not feel harsh.

These bottles have a certain scent them that is sort of strong and perfume-y, but I honestly don’t mind it since it makes my hair looks so nice. I honestly do see a difference. You don’t need a lot of product to be able to get enough.

The first picture of me in the hoop earrings is before I used this shampoo and conditioner, and the second photo where I’m wearing a white collar shirt is AFTER using this shampoo and conditioner. You can see in the first photo my ends look really fried and mainly DRY.

The second photo my hair is more bouncy and has a shine to it (not to mention it is super easy to comb through now!).

My hair as been greasy on the top but really dry from middle down. No matter what I have tried I could not find anything to improv it. My daughter suggested I try this. She used it herself. I have not had it long, but when it arrived i really really needed to wash my hair.

Hower no matter how expensive it is. It still had noticed the shins I. Her hair considering my daughter hag recently had more blond highlights. First I noticed the smell absolutely gorgeous after following instructions I still expected to see my hair frizzy when it was dry.

OMG no frizz not even the following morning. I most definitely recommend this product.

This product has resolved a lifelong issue I’ve had with unbelievably staticy hair. I’m talking electricity-ball-at-the-science-museum levels of static after brushing or combing or even touching my hair! I’m blown away with how this has fixed it! It’s still a little staticy, but it’s manageable now! I’ve also dealt with sores and itchiness on my scalp, which I believe was due to an allergy of some sort & I haven’t had that issue at all since switching to the free and clear products.

It’s a little pricey, but it’s well worth it for me to have hair and a scalp that I don’t abhorr.

I had higher expectations for this shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo itself didn’t get very sudsy, I had to use a decent amount to really cleanse my hair and I was expecting a better scent. It was a very light scent and like a hint, all other unite products I’ve used smell great!.

I purchased this based off its popularity and the benefits. This product has been around for awhile now and people went crazy about how good it worked. I have to say most of the benefits I can see when I apply to my hair.

This product does detangle well, it softens and smooths the hair. The price is expensive but the product is thick and does last awhile if your not heavy handed with using the product. I would repurchase this product but I would like to try the leave in and see how that works well.

I started using this with their Volumizing shampoo and noticed a huge difference after the first use. I’ve struggled with my hair since having my son. I have long, fine hair and a lot of it. It’s naturally red but I get it balayaged blonde a few times a year.

This is my current shampoo and it’s great, but the smell is a bit harsh and it doesn’t always do enough to really get the grease out. Still better than anything else I have tried, and a little really does go a long way.

I have very long very fine hair, and wash minimally. Woth this shampoo, I usually have to double wash to really feel clean. No ill effects on my hair, just a bit more work.

I have very curly, wire, frizz hair. A little goes a long way. My hair has never felt or looked this good. Soft and smells so good. My hair does not frizz up in bad weather. My hair color stays fresh and does not fade.

I purchased from my hair dresser and loved it so much I went on line to see if I could purchase.

I purchased the Shampoo and Conditioner to add some volume to my fine hair. The Shampoo is excellent giving my hair a lot of body. The conditioner however doesn’t do anything at all. My hair gets very knotty and I need my conditioner to detangle as well and it does detangle even slightly.

I have had to mix in with another bottle of conditioner so I can actually use it. So disappointed as it doesn’t seem to have any conditioning to the product at all.

I love this. Unlike other volumizing shampoos this does not make my scalp feel greasy after day 1. Best results after using this for about 2 months. Using loads of products leave loads of build-up on your hair that could add to les body in your hair.

I use this Goldwell Ultra Body shampoo and condition with Revlon uniq 1 leave in conditioner. Few sprays and on the ends, massage trough then brush out and towel dry. Then i use the Revlon Dry and body Style brush to dry and add extra Volume to my hair.

This product totally neutralizes any yellow tones in blonde, grey, platinum blonde hair. I think it’s worth every penny. I’ve tried other ‘purple’ conditioners, but nothing works as well as Goldwell.

I tried less expensive alternatives and was disappointed every time. Not with this brand! I didn’t get the shampoo, because the conditioner does the job all by itself.

Really wanted to love this shampoo, I love the fresh smell , I agree with others that it has like a peppermint/ eucalyptus smell. Amazing! However product itself is very heavy feeling, leaves my hair feeling greasy after drying especially at the scalp.

This product has a lot of oils in it. It’s great, but it takes a little longer to rinse to make sure your hair isn’t greasy. Still, it’s my favorite shampoo. Makes my hair look and feel healthier. Good quality ingredients.

Living Proof Color shampoo and color conditioner leaves my hair feeling super clean and very manageable. My hair is naturally curly. Sometimes I straighten it. Regardless of how I wear my hair, I find that I can go five days without washing.

I do use a little dry shampoo two to three days after washing. This routine has left my hair feeling a lot healthier than it was. It looks clean and even better it feels clean – weightless and NOT coded with wax, like some Pantene products seem to do.

After reading multiple reviews and hearing that this product line is among the top, I was shocked when this did the complete opposite of what I expected. My hair gets super greasy and gross hours after washing it with this product.

I’ve tried many things to change my routine. I thought maybe I was using too much shampoo or too much conditioner so I used smaller portions, that didn’t work. I “activated” the shampoo by rubbing my hands together first before applying, which didn’t help at all.

I tried only using the shampoo – awful decision. I tried using shampoo twice and then applying conditioner, nothing. I also thought it was how I was sleeping on my hair (untied, braid, ponytail, bun), I’ve tried it all and still end up with a grease pit of hair.

And yes, I don’t wash my hair every day, I do it every other day because I know that’s healthier, but nothing has helped. I have died my hair for years and have tried multiple products, but this was definitely the worst.

I bought the anti frizz full size set, then got sample sizes of the curly…neither worked…at all. So, as a glutton for punishment and money wasting I bought the Colour Care. While it helped my brassiness a little, I was hardly “wowed” by this product.

For the price, I would expect the efficacy of the conditioner to be much better. I’ve learned my lesson, no more chances for Living Proof. It has a nice, subtle fragrance. While the product didn’t work for me, I’m sure there are a ton of people who swear by this product.
