If you haven’t experienced Rainbow Six Siege and love tactical shooters, you should consider picking this up. The game has changed pretty dramatically since its original release back in 2015, but I personally find it to be fantastic right now.

It’s retained its realism and practicality while also bringing the series more fictitious settings, themes, weapons, gear, characters, etc. Now, it’s mainly a hero-based shooter with narrative-driven seasons of content.

If you like the sound of tactically driven gameplay along with everything else I mentioned, then this is a perfect game for you. Also, this title is often on sale, so make sure to look out for the right time to make the purchase.

Unless you dont know the map rotation, or the new helath system for armor, its oof worthy. But if it wasnt, it would not be siege. This is like my 16th time buying this game. Too many smurf accounts in all honesty, and its all for no reason.

But neverless, fun. This exition gives you all ops from the DLC year 1 and DLC year 2. You still have to grind out the 1000 renown for each OG operator. Hope this helps.

This game is garbage all by itself. You can do hardly anything without paying for additional game pass. It should have been free or pay me to get. I could have done better research but as a huge fan of Rainbow Six Las Vegas on PS3, I was expecting this to be more FPS with a story.

I know this game has gone more to multi-player, but there’s no story and you can’t do any of the other features without Game pass.

I have all the Just Dance’s that WII has put out. They are so much fun to play. I love dancing and they music is top hits from today and the past. Their are many times of dance like country, hiphop, reggae, pop and more.

I love to play with my daughter and sister we take turns and its a great way to burn some calories too. My dad who doesn’t play the game with us still has fun watching all of us play.

Just Dance was one of my favorite games and game categories growing up! I would spend hours on the endless mix game style and play song after song after song until I was dripping in sweat! A lot of good memories playing this in the living room with my siblings, dad, and anyone else we had over that weekend.

this is a great game for fans of rainbow six siege! it can be a little repetitive after a while, but it’s still fun with online play. the player base is much smaller than siege, but ubisoft is still supporting it with updates and special events, adding new playable characters, etc.

i would highly recommend this game to siege fans, or fans of cooperative team gameplay.

They tried something different this tim3. Teamwork is paramount. You die a lot in the beginning until you start leveling up. Add each individual player you chose has their own level buildup.

I’ve always been a fan of Rainbow Six and when I saw the trailer of this one I had to preorder it. Well I got it last week and we all have been totally satisfied. In fact we haven’t stopped playing it.

Great action and battles make it a really great game.

Theres no denying the debt that H. A. W. X. owes to the excellent Ace Combat series, upon which its core gameplay and design ideas are based. In particular, the fundamental idea of looking like a combat flight simulation while playing like an arcade game remains intact.

At the same time, Ubisoft Romania has gone far beyond crafting a copy, adding in plenty of innovative ideas, fun game modes, and an integration with the wider Clancy mythology that gives weight and depth to the experience.

The near-future setting tells the story of a squad of ace pilots who join up with a private military contractor after completing illustrious careers in the U. S. Air Force. As anyone who follows todays zeitgeist can guess, the insanely powerful PMC turns out to have some sinister motivations, and lo, weve got ourselves a plot.

It makes for some epic conflicts over Tokyo, Washington D. C. , and Rio de Janeiro, all of which are displayed in glorious, breathtaking detail thanks to extensive satellite imagery data. Thankfully, the planes, weapon effects, and HUD show an equal level of polish.

The flight combat rises to the challenge presented by its visuals through well-balanced and varied missions. As you switch between desperate dogfights and furious bombing runs, you have the option to do it all with up to three friends.

A thrilling two- to four-player cooperative mode turns the air fights into titanic affairs, since more enemies show up for every player in the game. Theres an exhilarating high to be found in covering a buddys bombing run with a blast of missile fire, or calling out that youve got the MiG squadron at 8 oclock as your wingman zooms off to tackle the tank squadron rolling in at 2.

The game also innovates through its Assistance Off mode, which delivers big thrills despite its dreary nomenclature. By double tapping one of the triggers, players disable the safety locks on their plane, sacrificing a degree of control for increased mobility and evasion.

The camera pans back to a wide third-person angle, and suddenly it feels like youre drift racing a jet plane, as you veer wildly through the skies to zero in on targets, while warding off stalls that could send you spinning into a nearby mountain.

Like some of the recent Clancy games, H. A. W. X. also offers a leveling mechanic, based on both in-mission kills and larger challenges that are completed over time, such as perfecting the use of a particular missile type.

As you level and unlock new jets and weapon load outs, you can use those unlocks in either the campaign or in the eight-person competitive dogfights. Along with multiple difficulty settings, theres plenty of reason to continue ranking your pilot, since every game mode contributes to your growth.

So much about the game is well done, its easy to not notice that almost everything is a little too scripted. Itd be nice to see a little more creativity and adaptability in the enemy AI, but its a small complaint when stacked against the impressive feature set of the wider game.

H. A. W. X. is the best flight game so far this generation, and a worthy addition to the best in the Clancy stable.

The game is visual brilliant, though some visual glitches are still visible and should have been fixed by now through an update patch. HAWX (High Altitude Warfare eXperiment) Blends in realistic dogfights with actual jet fighters, and fantasy high-tech computer controls that make the game easy to play and understand.

PROS: Visually and graphically beautiful, ease of flight controls, An array of over 30 fighter planes available. Possible downloadable content. CONS: A large quantity of visual and gameplay glitches.

Some missiles (Multi-AA missiles) are glitched and do not fire when prompted. Story is redundant, and after completing the campaign missions, you’ll notice that you’ll be left on your appetite (too Short, Online mode is POINTLESS: People get together and fly in circles forever.

TERRIBLE online connectivity problems. Downloadable content is useless since most of the planes you buy are unlockable. CONCLUSION: This game should be a 1-week rental. You’ll find that the Campaign mode is interesting and fun, but As soon as you’ll start playing ONLINE, it turns sour.

The online mode is simply 2-8 people flying in circles, trying avoiding missiles, there is NO STRATEGY WHATSOEVER. In-Game settings for online games are very limited. Numberless glitches riddle the game.

Leveling up is arduous and pointless.

The PC has had all manner of flight sims, but only consoles have gotten a decent list of more arcade-like non-sim flight games. Sure, we’ve had Blazing Angels and other similar attempts, but these have been hampered by bugs and somewhat-outdated engines.

HAWX enters in as an Ace Combat-style modern flight game for the PC. Gameplay is similar to Ace Combat with a few additions, including the highly-maneuverable Assistance-Off mode. Mission goals generally consist of attacking and defending air, ground and sea units with the occasional aerial obstacle course thrown in to spice things up.

Graphics are gorgeous. The game utilizes satellite photography to reconstruct real-world locations. At cruising altitude, the game looks astonishing, especially with it’s beautiful volumetric clouds.

During low-altitude strafing runs, the illusion begins to waver a bit. Still, it’s overall a definite looker. Sound is pretty solid. We have the traditional array of engine roar, missile launches and gunfire backed by a solid-if-unremarkable orchestral score of the “flight sim” genre.

Voice acting is also solid but not terribly memorable. The plot is where the game starts to show some weakness. If you’re hoping for an AC4- or AC5-style story of striking characters, daring heroism and the many facets of war, you’ll be disappointed.

HAWX’s story is set in the present-day real world. The factions aren’t “good” and “evil” as much as “American” and “evil nameless faceless corporation. ” The bad guys are bad because SOMEBODY has to be otherwise there’d be no conflict.

Overall, the story is rather bland and a bit disappointing, especially coming for a Tom Clancy games. I haven’t toyed too much with the multiplayer, but what I’ve seen has been great. There’s an awesome ranking system that places you against pilots of similar skill level.

There’s also a nice set of achievements that meshes quite well with the leveling system. Overall, if you’re a fan of Ace Combat and you have a capable PC, this game is definitely worth the money. Bonus points for force-feedback joysticks =).

So I bought this to sell a PS1 as a bundle with games and controller and I was thinking well at such a low price it probably wont even work but eh whatever lets see so I bought it and IT ARRIVED THREE DAYS EARLY so I was like woah holy crud it came that quick? I am a really big fan of the Rainbow Six series of Squad-based, counter-terror, first person tactical shooter games, after playing “The Sum of All Fears”. “Rogue Spear” is a continuation of this excellent series, with great locations and environments with realistic ambient atmosphere, which really adds depth, drama and excitment to the game-play.

Like SUOF, there is not a lot of set up required, so after you have completed training, you can launch right into a campaign. There are three levels of expirience to choose from, which should suit just about everyone from rookie to expert.

Some gamers may expirience some problems with some newer operating systems or video cards. I was unable to play this game on my Fujitsu lap-top with XP pro, as it required a version of direct X which was incompatible.

However, it played just fine on my HP PC with XP Pro and Invidea GForce video card. This Rainbox six mission is to track and counter attacks from an eco-terrorist organization called the Phoenix Group whose aim is to release a deady super-virus which will wipe out the human race in order to save the planet.

After completion of the campaign, you unlock additional features and locations. You can also purchase the Mission Pack “Urban Assault” for even more campaigns, and more “Tango’s” to take down – HOO-RAH! Players who like this game will enjoy Tom Clancy’s “Lockdown”, “Raven Shield”, and “Athena Sword” which adds more features like player, equipment and weapon selection, and the ability to comtroll up to three squads.

All-in-all a great first person tactical shooter, which only gets better with each subsequent game from Red Storm.

This is one of the first games I had for the dreamcast, after selling my collection and now trying to rebuild, it became the first to purchase again. I’ve always loved this series for a good reason. It’s tactical and has good game play for its age.

I would have been happier if EA had continued this series for the PC platform rather than switching exclusively to consoles. The game is now old enough, it won’t run on Windows 10. It has some flaws (e.

g. the PGA Tour mode has both a very high standard of performance for advancing, and a very slow rate of performance improvement). Still, the graphics, sound, and physics are compelling enough to provide an immersive experience.

The other golfers have distinct skills and personalities, and it isn’t long until you feel you’re golfing with friends. The experience accumulation and confidence gauge (the longer and better you play, the better the outcome for a given actual player performance) which were introduced in this game even gives it a little RPG feel.

You can even improve your “confidence” by taking free training lessons. You get a choice between traditional two- or three-click control and a new “trueswing” mode where you use your mouse something like the motion of your golf club.

People with high dexterity may get more fun out of it – but it was hard for me. You have enough in-game money that even if you struggle to develop skill, you won’t run out, and it’s fun to see the side-bets, skins, and other winnings pile up.

Game modes include practice, PGA Tour (which pretends your golfer works his way up to pro status and the FedEx Cup), “Tiger Challenge” (beat enough pros to earn the right to play against Tiger), and “Custom” (set up a game or tournament to your liking.

) I don’t do online play – but the option is available to play other real-life people. The documentation leaves a lot unsaid – you really need to poke around at the UI and figure out all the things you can do, or you may get frustrated at your poor scores and slow advancement.

There used to be a web site with more information but it’s been taken down. Overall, you can get hundreds of hours of golf simulation fun from this – it’s worth much more than you’re likely to have to pay for it.

So, the EASports team isnt smart enough to secure future rights for their game products to ensure their customers dont have a deadline which renders their game unplayable. What a giant ripoff! Windows 10 Updates eventually render the Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2008 PC game DEAD, unusable, worthless because EA Sports wont support and validate the product code when the locked game is reinstalled by the legal purchaser.

Had this game before I moved and lost it. TW is still the best golf sim. Tru-swing (mouse) has the most realistic feel and touch for each shot. I also created pretty realistic “game face” golfers to sim myself, friends and grandkids.

Double agent is a strange one because you almost have to buy it twice. I recomend buying it on a 2nd gen console and a 3rd. I myself have it on the original Xbox and on ps3. the ps3/360 version is better, however the systems before have such a nostalgic feeling because the graphics and cinimatics are more compared to pandora tomorrow.

Splinter Cell Double agent is one of those games where it doesn’t feel like a true sequel. Sure, it’s a a step up from Chaos Theory with better graphics and more detailed environments, a host of new moves and the ability to make decisions that impact the story, which adds a less linear feel to it – But it just doesn’t feel as polished as Splinter Cell Chaos Theory.

Chaos Theory was a gritty well-thought game with impressive single player and award winning multiplayer. It focused on action and shone through because of it. Double Agent is half and half. It tries to add an engaging consprirital feel to the story but it truly feels half hearted.

Because the producers spent so much time on the story it feels like they forgot to add action into the levels. The environments could have been better detailed and thought out and there’s a few missions which have you spend half an hour doing some mundane task for the enemy which detracts from the action.

Fair enough it has some high points and I genuinely believe they outweigh the negatives, but something doesn’t click. Sure it’s worth a buy and I definitely had fun playing it but it’s just not quite the game I expected it to be.

This is the fourth splinter Cell and it’s probably my favorite. I got the disk only version and it arrive quickly and in really good condition

Ive owned this PC for 3 weeks. Its been ok, nothing exceptional, but functional for what i want to do with it. Shut down my PC before heading to work and came home to the PC not working at all. Prior to this issue, It ran pretty well although it did have some issues multitasking (playing games while watching youtube) and my internet would throttle causing game lag that doesnt happen with other PC’s I own, but those issues could be worked around, however, not recieving power has no work around so now i have an expensive paperweight.

After years of wanting a gaming pc. I gave in and bought this and let me tell you this pc is powerful enough. I play warzone , gta and other games on high settigns and this PC runs really well. You dont really need a 2k-5k pc like people tell you.

Very easy set up. The Omen computer program is pretty cool. It allows you to set the computer to different modes whether it’s regular every day use or gaming.

Firstly, if you are considering this CPU at the time of writing, and have a Z97 or H87 chipset, I may suggest waiting about a week and getting the 4690K for around the same price. Should also note the 4690K has advertised support for VT-d too, and is rumored to be using a better thermal compound in-between the CPU die and IHS (for better temperatures).

I upgraded from a Phenom II X3 720 (unlocked to X4 @ 3. 2GHz) and an ASRock 970 Extreme3 R1. 0 board, so in that regard, the 4670K is a really nice and noticeable upgrade. I overclocked my 4670K to 4.

0GHz across all cores, with a cache ratio of 40. Vcore voltage is 1. 2V. YMMV. My environment consists of an ASRock Fatal1ty H97 Killer, a CM Hyper 212 Plus (using Arctic Silver 5 thermal compound with the dot in the center method), and a hec 585W PSU (about 3 years old).

That PSU in-particular only has a 4-pin CPU connector, which I can confirm is enough to reach the above clock speeds (anything higher isn’t ideal temperature and stability-wise in my setup). My GPU is a MSI R7850 PE 2GD5/OC @ 1GHz core clock, at 1600×900@75Hz.

So about the lack-of VT-d, it seems relatively common that Intel strips certain virtualization features from their unlocked CPUs. I was interested in trying out some GPU-passthrough and virtualization.

Considering my old setup met the requirements to do the passthrough (IOMMU), I thought it wouldn’t be a problem with way-newer Intel hardware. Needless to say, I was rather surprised by the lack-of that feature.

As for why Intel does this, it seems to be mostly speculation, but an idea is to just keep their non-unlocked CPUs relevant. And as for a temperature note, it seems Intel chose to use a cheap thermal compound in-between the CPU die and IHS (the top cap you sit the heatsink on; note the die is significantly smaller than that area).

Previous CPUs by Intel used solder, which transfers heat from the die to the IHS far more efficiently. There’s no official-word for the reasoning as far as I know, but there are two ideas: – Due to the die manufacturing process, using solder and having temperature changes would cause the die itself to crack under stress from typical usage scenarios (would be bad for PR and the RMA department).

– It’s cheaper to use thermal compound over specialized solder (this wouldn’t surprise me coming from Intel). And on-top of the cheap thermal compound, the IHS is secured to the PCB via thick glue. Because of this, the IHS and die don’t come in-contact with each other as close as they can, which then leads to poor heat transfer.

You can attempt to fix the temperature situation yourself via “delidding”, but be very aware of the risks of doing so (one wrong scratch on the CPU die and it’s likely done), along with accepting loss of any warranty.

It cannot be stressed enough; do your research before even thinking about trying delidding! The risk is well worth the reward in some cases though (significantly lower temperatures, thus more O.

First off, I don’t pretend to be an expert on the subject of CPUs the way some people are – I mainly take the word of other people here and Tom’s Hardware who know more about these things than I do. The biggest reason I bought this chip over the 3570k is that someone suggested the 1150 socket type might see use in the future, where the 1155 is pretty much dead.

I’m really not sure this is true – you’d probably want to research more on your own. That having been said, this chip is most definitely a huge upgrade over the oooold dual-core CPU I was running and in that respect, it’s a winner.

My hesitation in not giving this 4 or 5 eggs is that I think I might have done a little more research before jumping on the 4670 bandwagon. I originally was thinking of getting an i5 3570 and from what I’ve seen, you might want to consider this too, but please, don’t take my word for it.

This chip has 2 significant drawbacks I’m aware of: 1) It runs pretty hot when OC’ed 2) It doesn’t seem to OC particularly well to begin with. I don’t really know how well an OC’d 4670 benchmarks against an OC’d 3570 at a higher clock rate, though, so the inability of most of these chips to go above the 4.

3-4. 4ghz range could wind up being a wash. I got an EVO 212 cooler and cranked it the processor up to 4. 5ghz and something stupid like 1. 4v, before gaming for a couple hours. The chip stayed under 90C for a couple hours of punishment, but the next morning it started blue-screening, and I was able to replicate those results with some Prime95 stress tests.

Ultimately, I had to dial it back to 4. 3ghz and 1. 2ish volts. Good enough, I suppose, but nowhere near the 4. 6 or 4. 8ghz some people are getting from their chips. Not all 4670s are created equally, I suppose.

Overall, I’d say I’m fairly satisfied with the choice I made, but I might have done a little more research before buying this one first – I might well have chosen differently if I had.

The one I got turned out to be a decent mid-range overclocker as I was able to get 4. 4GHz stable with Gskill Sniper memory at 1866. Never had temperature issues, just flat out instability above 4. 4 GHZ, but hey: That’s still almost a 30% OC! Had to push cpu voltage up to 1.

295 -just under the 1. 3v ceiling where Haswell starts to really heat up. Memory rated for 1866 @ 1. 5v needed a boost to 1. 52 volts to stay stable but it has been running 24/7 like this for almost a week now.

I do have an H110 mounted in the top of my Corsair C70, pulling air through the radiator and exhausting out the top of my case. Glad I got that because temps have been very good. Also have four intake fans (2 front, 2 bottom) and one rear exhaust which give the C70 great positive air pressure (side panel vents taped up with clear packing tape.

) At stock clocks idle temps are in the mid 20s, and overclocked to 4. 4 running benchmarks temps never go over 80c. That’s a win as far as I’m concerned. ) All games so far are on max or ultra graphics settings. This processor compliments a good graphics card very nicely.

This game I was really hype but for some reason didn’t capture the essence of being a complete Game. It feels More like an DLC than an actual game. Maybe if you have friends to play it’s better. It’s not a bad game but it’s not a must buy.

Fast-paced, or stealth paced action. Can get a little repetitive at times like most games like this but weapon upgrades unlocking different weapons, and if you get a crew of your friends it’s pretty fun.
