Best Seats At Yankee Stadium (2024 Updated)

My daughter plays soccer for school, so we spend a lot of time sitting on bleachers. We can’t maintain perfect posture for hours at a time, and it kills my back being slightly hunched over. After seeing other parents at games and practices with these chairs, I had to check them out.

I’m so glad I did. This chair is a lifesaver. It saves my back and keeps my butt off the hard bleachers. There’s a piece built into the chair underneath the seat that clips the chair to the bleachers so it doesn’t move or shift around when you excitedly jump up or do that nervous wiggle during intense plays.

They’ve got a little weight to them, but they’re not the heaviest ones I’ve seen. My younger kids can carry them, so they’re not bad. Worth it either way.

Store personnel was very helpful by taking me directly to the aisle where the product was stocked. The chair is extremely sturdy & well-made, providing great comfort & support while using it. The negative is the weight — it’s significantly heavier than others we’ve had & somewhat difficult to manage when getting it out of the car along with the cooler, jackets, etc.

Did a bit of redoing the rubber contact rubber parts on 3 chairs, as expected. Not a bad job to get good seats at a way better price. Surprising comfort for the size, good carry handle, and wider by some inches than original size.

Just replace the bottom rubber so it doesn’t scratch any seat surface, I used gorilla tape, but auto stores have the heavier rubber trunk seal type in rolls that self sticks to the frame. At 240 lb. , it is still a good seat idea.

For the money, this seat is great! I didn’t want to spend upwards of $100 on a seat that might be clunky or break. This seat is perfect and lightweight. It actually gives great back support and is adjustable for added comfort.

I fit in it well and I’m 5’10 160 pounds for reference. The seat itself is not very comfortable for my bottom, but overall, it is a HUGE improvement from sitting in the bleachers. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price and definitely recommend this chair.

IMHO this is a minimal comfort stadium seat. The seat padding could be more cushioned and the back a bit sturdier. It is acceptable if you don’t need to sit on bleachers for hours. If you need to do that I suggest another brand.

I like the ease of carrying it as it rolls up nicely and won’t take up much room for storage.

I bought 3 of these for use at outdoor events. They arrived rolled up. Upon unrolling one, I was disappinted to see how flimsy it was. There is no support in the back at all. Basically just a couple of this foam pads attached with the black straps.

Didn’t even bother to use them, just rerollled and sent them all back.

I purchased the chair for long games of travel ball. All the other team moms liked my chair so much that they all decided to buy them as well. They are comfortable and sturdy. Def a must for long bleacher outings.

There is a small metal clasp that connects to the bleacher from the bottom. My husband won’t sit in it because he thinks it might not hold him but all is moms in the stands love our chairs. worth the buy!.

I’m very happy with these stadium seats. Was sold on the brand after we bought two of the rocker style folding chairs. These are just as well made and should hold up as well as those. Very comfortable and much sturdier than other brands that we have sat in at events.

Have shown them to friends at events and they have liked them enough to buy them to replace other seats. Would highly recommend.

I ordered two Driftsun stadium chairs for my husband and I to attend Friday night football games. Both packages were severely water damaged and covered in black mold. The chairs were soaked inside the pkg.

I tried cleaning both chairs and they still smelled moldy, even after spraying with Febreze and Lysol. I would have loved the chairs if not for the water damage done by the distributor/seller. These chairs should have never been shipped because the water damaged packaging was so visible.

Driftsun should be made aware of this huge problem. After I cleaned the chairs, I tried them out. Very comfortable and perfect for spectator sports or the beach! Unfortunately, the smell still lingered.

A comfortable way to enjoy the endless summer spent watching 12U travel ball. The side pocket is where I hide my flask so I have the strength to keep shouting “Good Try, You’ll Get Them Next Time” over and over again for an entire spring and summer.

The chair is very comfortable and very durable and its nice to be propped up so that when I fall asleep while wrapped in 16 blankets because we have to play if its “40 degrees or warmer. ” No one can see that I have fallen asleep as a side effect of hypothermia (or the flask).

It still looks like I’m watching! Seriously its a great chair, I like the color, too, that way my kid can see where I’m sitting from Right Field where he spends most of the game. I’m glad I got this chair.

Ordered the regular stadium seat for my husband to replace one that has some age on it (not the Driftsun brand). The seat was a bit tight with the arms up so we decided to order the extra wide; however it was too big and we felt it would encroach on those sitting beside us.

We decided to return both seats and purchase another like the one we are replacing. While the Driftsun seems to be a better made product with more cushion, the shipping to return the two was almost as much as the cost of the two seats.

My advice is to be careful what size you order and know that it is very pricey to return.

I recently purchased 3 of these chairs to use at Hs competitions and we absolutely love them ! they r so comfortable they feel like you’re sitting on a sofa !!!! They r just the right height , they lock firmly on the bleacher and the cushions r such a generous size -the chair back gives great support-the fabric is soft and when the chair is folded it has a very comfortable carry handle which makes it very easy to carry -it is made very well-great quality fabric I would recommend this chair to anyone ! Great product for a great price -highly recommend !.

Have ordered several of these chairs as 30 year service awards. I just purchased one for a retiring board member. Great quality and the embroidering is always perfect!!

I absolutely love this product! First I thought “what’s the big deal, 2 canvas and a string, I surely can make it myself”, but I didn’t expect how great quality of a seat it will actually be. The back is reinforced what makes it very easy and comfortable to lean on.

I used it multiple times during picnics in the park, many of my friends tried it too and said it’s a great product which they also want to get now. It costed me 12. 39 with delivery and I believe that to be a great price for the comfort it gives – even when used only few times a year.

Had to re-stitch rod pocket as rod poked through after first use. Repaired easily with extra strong thread so not retuned.

Weve just come back from holiday & the weather has been hot. These mats have been used every day. Thoroughly recommend. So much better having a back rest when picnicking

I asked my mom to buy my husband and I two stadium chairs for when we go see my daughter play basketball. Sitting in the bleachers hurt our backs. This chair gives us back support and makes sitting through the games a lot more comfortable.

Sometimes my husband would not be able to go to the game so my mom would get to use his chair. She liked it so much that she asked for us to get her one for Christmas!.

I purchased this to use at grandchildren’s sporting events. It is quite an improvement over those hard bleachers. I had been sitting on a folded up blanket but didn’t have any back support. The back support provided by this seat is amazing.

The chair is great – sturdy and comfortable for the long hours in the bleachers. BUT Academy uses this chair to advertise itself by plastering its logo all over the back! And they don’t show you a picture of the back on the website.

I would like the same chair but without the ugly logo please.

This stadium seat is comfy and easy to carry and store. My husband and I have had these for a few years and we’ve been pleased with them both. They are lightweight and work like a charm on bleachers.

It’s must better than sitting on the hot metal bleachers at the race track that’s for sure! We highly recommend them! We’d buy them again if need be!.

This is the second one of these chairs I have purchased. The first one I got for my daughter who was having some back issues and needed something to help give her some comfort because she’s always at the games in bleachers with her kids.

She said her husband kept trying to take it so she needed another one for him. This was his Father’s Day gift! They love this chair!!.

I love this stadium seat! At night I feed my 2 outside cats and I sit on a cement step and talk to them and love them up. For months I’d just sit on a garden kneeling pad but very quickly my butt would be cold (it can be single digits at times-don’t worry-my cats have heated cat shelters! 🙂 and my lower back would be in pain.

Now with my new seat I can sit with so much padding and warmth and my back is supported! I can’t believe the difference it makes! thanks for making my life more comfortable!.

We’re very pleased with our purchase. We both have lower back issues. This seat really provides much needed support. Very convenient and easy to carry. The extra padded seat is a nice plus. They appear to be very well made.

I bought 2 of these stadium seats on the recommendation of another baseball mom who owned one. The bottom is slightly padded, the backrest is substantial enough to be able to lean back for a bit. I love the side pockets for quick access to my water bottle & cell phone.

The chair is exactly as advertised. It is small, compact and easy to use. It is easy to carry. Opens and sets up quickly and likewise folds back to its compact state with ease as well I a very pleased with my purchase.

I looked everywhere for a good stadium chair that didn’t cost a fortune. Although there are many types available, this was my choice because it is so compact, reasonably priced, has arm rests and a firm seat cushion.

I am so happy with this stadium chair. Great quality, support and material. It is so comfortable. Also, it comes exactly as shown with a hook in the front. Some reviews stated it does not. The hook does not fasten but slips under the bench in front.

It will keep the seat from sliding backwards. Price was also very good compared with other sites.

Comfortable seating that is wider than most other stadium seating and has plenty of room for when you are wearing a heavy winter coat. The clip under the seat holds the seat firmly on the bleacher. I like the fact that it does not have arm rests that get in the way as everyone is a different height.

They are also not heavy to carry.

The comfort and sturdiness would have 5 stars but it came to me with a hole in the canvas/fabric. So now I go thru the hassle of returning it and getting another one that may be flawed as well! Or I keep this one with hole in it! Not my fault it has a hole but it’s my hassle to return and wait on another one.

Season nearly over by then.

Don’t like this company. Send a totally different what I order.. never buy from this company again. Very disappointed.

Bought two for camping and the beach when I didn’t want to carry the larger folding chairs. Comfortable for what it is, sturdy too. Founds down flat so it’s easy to tuck into the car. Used it for a month and quality looks good! The kids have used it to and it has held up just fine given their rocking chair antics.

Nice chair to replace the seat in my inflatable kayak. It gives me much more back support. Had to modify it to add a strap at the top to clip into the kayak D rings in front to prevent the whole chair from tipping backward, but easily reused the strap from my old kayak seat.

These are the best my family has 4 of these to go watch my brothers football and basketball games. They are all black but they have different color options. They would also bring them to his wrestling matches when he did wrestle.

They are good on bleachers indoor and outdoor. They are also great for just sitting on the ground. They recline back and you can carry them like a backpack. A lot of people compliment the chairs and ask where they purchased them.

Very uncomfortable chair sor the price, I thought because it was expensive it would have more cushion for comfort but I was very disappointed with how hard the seat portion was. It was also big and bulky to carry around.

they are to heavy for a disabled person or someone that can not carry very much due to they are WAY to heavy to even carry around if any elderly person is thinking about getting this dont , as you will not be able to carry them Peroid as they weight 25 to 30 pounds each !!!!.

I wanted a special gift for my son for his wedding. His grandfather had season tickets to Comiskey Park, and my four-month-old son spent his first Father’s day at a Sox game. Love of the White Sox runs deep.

I was looking for a unique gift for our fifth anniversary (the “wood annivesary”), and this pen fit the bill. My husband likes the look of it and is looking forward to using it in his home office. I liked that I was giving him a unique wood pen – something that was made out of wood with historical significance.

I am giving the item 4 stars because of the gift box – I was expecting something a bit more durable for the price I paid. I would describe it as a “paper/cardboard” pen box that is fairly durable – it holds its shape just fine and looks quite nice, but the corners could be easily damaged (see service/delivery comments).

Bought this for our son for standing up with us in our upcoming wedding. Can’t wait to give it to him! It’s so cool and fabulous piece of history. He plays college Baseball and is a huge fan of the Red Soxs, we know he will love it.

Just hope he places somewhere to display for now until he has an office some day, as it wasn’t inexpensive. Don’t want it lost.

My father is a Mets fan, so I thought that the Shea Stadium seat cufflinks would be a unique Christmas gift that he would really love. I ordered them rather last-minute as a Christmas gift, but they arrived in time.

I was very nervous upon opening the cufflinks, because not all of the reviews I had read about this product were positive, but I took the chance because I thought that if they turned out to be well-made, he would really love them.

Unfortunately, I was not one of the lucky customers who received one of the more decent pairs of these cufflinks. They were absolutely horrible. When I opened them, I immediately noticed that there were a couple of markings on the silver setting- both cufflinks had what appeared to be a rust/brown-colored line on the side of the silver setting.

On top of that, the square pieces of the stadium seat were not even set properly in the silver backing. On one of the cufflinks, the square of the seat was obviously protruding above the silver setting.

Although I was embarrassed, I gave them to my father because they were the only gift I had bought for him- I promised him I was going to send them back and get them replaced with what I hoped would be a better pair.

I am very angry to report that the replacement pair was not all that much better than the first pair. There were no markings on the silver setting, but the pieces of seat were still not set in the silver backing very well.

For the price of this item, I would expect a MUCH better quality of craftsmanship! On both cufflinks, the pieces of seat were not set properly in the silver backing (which, in my opinion, would mean that the corners of the piece of seat are not sticking up past the silver border, and all corners of the square should be flush with the silver setting).

Instead, you could obviously tell that the piece of seat was set in the backing crookedly, so that some corners were below the top of the silver setting while others protruded. I am too embarrassed to give this poorly-made gift to my father, so now I will have to figure out something different to give him instead.

For the cost of this item, the craftsmanship should be of a MUCH higher quality. I highly recommend that UncommonGoods remove this item from their catalog so that no other customers need to have such a disappointing/embarrassing gift-giving experience as I did.

Definitely on the pricey side, but I know my fiance will love these. He’s a big baseball fan and asked for tickets to a game last year as his birthday present. This year we’ll be at the beach, so I’m bringing the stadium to him! One comment is there are definitely imperfections in the upcycled material, so be prepared for that.

It doesn’t bother me, as I think it adds to the charm, but something to be aware of!.

I’m in a different city than my dad – the recipient – so I can’t really comment on the look or feel of the cufflinks. I was a little unsure as to whether this would be a good gift or not; some comments seemed sketchy and I wasn’t fully convinced that they wouldn’t be too cheesy.

However, my dad, upon receiving them, said they were the best gift he ever got and that I always give such thoughtful presents. He also said he has gotten tons of compliments on them. (He dresses in a pretty fancy lawyer-y way, so I wasn’t sure that he would wear them, but it looks like he does!) I think this is a perfect present for any avid baseball fan.

Great camp chair. I would pay $100 for the same chair without a team logo. The reclining feature is nice for being a folding camp chair. Very sturdy for a 215lb guy

This chair is really well made with strong seams and solid material. Very sturdy and comfortable. You do sit down leaning back in a comfortable sort of way but it is not a good chair to pull up to a table to have dinner.

So if you want to sit comfortably and have a cold one, then this chair will suit you just fine. I would buy it again.

I gave this to my son (who is 6’6”) , he is a huge Braves fan, and he loves it. Great size, he is thrilled.

This was a Father’s Day gift for my husband. I had my eyes on them for ages and this year, having been unable to see our son play due to covid, just seemed like a year of nostalgia. The cuff links were beautifully packaged and made the day a bit more special.

My dad is the hardest person in the world to shop for. He is also a huge Yankees fan, and was heartbroken when they announced that the stadium was being closed. So I was absolutely delighted to find the Yankee stadium cufflinks and give them to him for Christmas.

They are extremely well-made. The hardware has a great shiny finish and they don’t look or feel cheap at all. I was worried that the wood parts might not match each other, but having seen them, I think perhaps each pair is chosen to match because they go very well together without being exactly the same.

The presentation was good too, with a card showing exactly which seat they had come from, and a nice sturdy gift box. The color of the cufflinks would go with white, blue (light and dark), and black shirts (and other colors too I’m sure).

They are formal enough to wear into the office but casual enough for a nice dinner. Plus, I know he shows them to his clients and it’s a great story for him to tell people (“Hey, guess what these are made of!”).

I know the price seems expensive but let me tell you, the look on his face will be well worth it.
