In researching cards to use for a Canon EOS C70, this Mark 2 version (both 256 and 128 sizes) were one of the view as listed by Canon to be fully supported. Thanks to others on various Canon forums, I then learned that the peak bitrate of the C70 is around 545 Mbps when in some of the slow and fast motion modes.

Thus, you definitely need V90 speeds as V60 would only yield 480 Mbps. I really like that the card doesn’t have any peelable label on it. It’s very well made. Super-high contrast and large fonts make reading the relevant info extremely easy.

Increadibly fast to initialize and they work very well in an iMac Pro’s SD slot (which is a UHS-II slot). They are costly, but well worth it. Highly recommended. Also comes with a three year manufacturer warranty which was very nice.

Tip: Since the C70 allows for different codecs to be captured to each card, I’m using 256 GB cards in slot A with the 410 Mbps codec and then 128 GB cards in slot B with the 160 Mbps codec. Not a true backup of the exact same footage, but a backup nonetheless while spending a bit less on media.

If you shoot professionally, data loss anxiety of clients is something you want to avoid. Building redundancy into your production process is critical. Using professional cards is expensive but necessary.

The cost of an experienced psychologist is $275 per hour. Invest the money of a few sessions in the SD cards, and you will feel better. Guaranteed. I use a Canon C70 and two card slots in the camera.

This way, I use two high performance Angelbird cards to backup footage instantly in the field. in the camera. You can use an HDMI recorder, but I like the backup provided by the extra card. In my studio, I place one card in a fireproof safe while I upload the footage to my cloud storage and my inhouse raid backup system.

Only once I have verified that everything is properly backed up onto the cloud and locally, I reformat both Angelbird cards in the C70 on the day of my next shoot. This procedure has worked flawlessly so far.

I don’t know what the lifetime is of these cards, but I have not had any problems. They are capable of recording full 4K. With slower cards, I ran into buffer overload of cards and missed important shoots.

The angelbird brand of cards are quickly becoming my favorite. Before coming across this brand, the only 2 brands I trusted when buying cards were Sandisk and the Sony tough brands. They were the only brands til now that never gave me an issue over their lifespan.

Now that I have been using these Angelbird cards, I have been seeing similar reliability and performance to the other 2 brands I have always trusted, but at a much better price. I can honestly say that I don?t worry about corrupted files and lost images when I use these cards.

IF YOU HAVE A SONY CAM AND ARE MISSING FILES TRY PLUGGING CAMERA WITH CARD IN IT STRAIGHT INTO COMPUTER. Just wanted to mention that in case it saves someone from formatting over footage they think is gone.

I saw this card was on sale and thought it would be good to have a V90 in case I wanted to shoot XAVC S-I. Saw high-ish ratings but didn’t really read the reviews, but after reading some today it seems apparent there are some issues with these cards and Sony cameras.

I formatted this card in my A7SIII and went and filmed a house. Got home and loaded the card into my iMac and the clips folder was showing as empty. I thought maybe Final Cut would recognize them so I ejected the card, and reinserted, and the import window in FCP opened and I saw files start to load but then they all disappeared and nothing happened.

Freaked out a bit but then put the card back in camera and the files were all there and played back no problem. Connected the camera straight to the computer and was able to unload the files no problem, but still scared the crap out of me for a minute and left me with no confidence in the reliability of these cards.

I’ve been using the Sony Tough V60 cards and they have worked flawlessly, even the Prograde V60 have been great.

Title says it all. SD card gave a corruption error after shooting an interview. It was a 20 minute interview on my GH5 that I can NEVER replace. Battery was full. Data extraction software could not even find or retrieve the file.

This happened after maybe 10 hours of total footage shot on the card. This was a very expensive card to have a corruption failure. I dont dare use it again. I wasn’t even shooting high data rates. Just plain old.

This is a decent card, relatively fast, but performance is not up to what is published. I compare this to several Sony M SD cards. The Sony are rated at 260 read, 100 write. These Delkin cards are 300 read (max) and 250 write (max), 90 write (min).

In real-world use, these cards don’t measure up. With my EOS R or 5Ds, I would tend to run into the buffer when shooting quickly (RAW+mJPEG). Transferring to my laptop (on location) the files would fly from the Sony cards, but were measurably slower with the Delkin.

The Delkin will do the job if you don’t need speed. For me, I would have purchased more of the Sony, but they no longer come in 32GB sizes. (I use my cards like rolls of film — a separate card for each shot).

I have about 20-25 SD cards I rotate between, so it’s not a big deal. I just hate paying more for something that doesn’t quite deliver.

I’m a long time Sandisk user. When I got my Canon R5 I wanted the faster cards for it. I read up on Delkin cards and saw where they are more indestructible than the competition. They are stronger on trying to flex them.

I didn’t try too hard considering the price of these I didn’t want it to really snap. It looks like they use an over-molding vs two pieces glued together. There fast, keeps up with my camera shooting bursts.

The card is good. Read spears are on par and the space on my A7S III and FX3 for 4K 24p 10-but 4:2:2 is a bit more than 5 quoted hours. But my issue is not the card, but the card packaging. I almost threw the card away and assumed it fell out somewhere or maybe got stuck under the inner cardboard flaps.

But no, it was definitely bubble wrapped. You know how most SD cards come with a big cardboard backer? Not this one. It was literally a box the size of matches! So just be careful, the last thing you want to do is accidentally yeet such an expensive SD card!.

This review is for the Kingston Canvas React Plus 64GB 300MB/s UHS-II SDXC card Good bang for the buck, excellent performance with the included reader. When connected to older generation USB 3. 0 (2014 laptop), performance falls short, hitting just over 200MB/sec read, 180MB/sec write.

But when paired with modern USB 3. 0 port or USB 3. 1 port and the included card reader, it performs as stated, but only with the included reader. I have a Lexar Pro Workflow 2 reader that has hit 300MB/s read & write with other cards I have tested, but it tops out at 280MB/s read / 254MB/s write with this card.

My Sandisk UHS-II USB-C reader only maxes at 284MB/s read / 268MB/s write. In-camera performance (Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark III) so far seems on par with two other top of the line cards I was able to test out, and 4K video with the Canvas React Plus card records at a higher bit rate than any other card I own or have tested, reaching 60.

8MB/sec vs 58. 2MB/sec for the Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB 300MB/sec UHS-II card I’ve tested (but do not own) & 52. 7MB/sec Vs the Amplim 64GB 2000x (300MB/s) card I own. On a price vs performance basis, I would have to give the Amplim card a win, but this Kingston card is way ahead of just about any other UHS-II V90 300MB/s card out now & comes with a “product lifetime” warranty.

I dislike 5 star profiles because they are usually fake. This is the reason: B&H is one of the few companies that sell this V90 card. It took a week or so to get it but that was the only burp. The card has some idiosyncrasies to consider.

1) The card has EXTRA pins that make it go the V90 speed. So if you have a device that does not have those extra pins you will not get a speed increase. I did not get a speed increase on my 360 camera.

2) You must used the adapter to get V90 speeds on transfers. On my regular USB3 card reader I get the standard 80 Megabytes transfer but with the adapter I get 250 Megabytes. That alone makes this worth it for me since it takes a looooooong time to copy a full 256GB card at V30 speeds.

This card is faster in transferring data than a magnetic hard drive.

Recently got a Raspberry Pi 400, came with NOOBS on a 16GB Sandisk Edge. Figured 16GB is a bit small for what I needed so looking for 32GB. As of February 2021 this is the cheapest ($4. 99) 32GB card that is A1 Rated, so I gave this a shot.

Also bought a Samsung Evo Select ($7. 49) and Samsung Pro Endurance ($10. 99) just in case. Used RPi Imager to write a full install, and found that not only did it double my capacity from 16GB to 32GB, it substantially increased read/write performance compared to the NOOBS card.

Used Pi OS’s built-in Raspberry Pi Diagnostics to run tests shown in pics. Fully satisfied with this card, and returned the two Samsungs.

Can you get comparable SD cards somewhere else a little cheaper? Sure… Do you need camouflaged sd cards? Probably not… Was this an easy transaction, delivered as promised,formatted and up and working in game cams exactly as desired from a seller you can trust? Absolutely!.

Bought it for up dating my GPS in my car. However the manufacture makes you buy there SD card because of incription the system looks for. So the cards would not work for that. Sorry for not using them.

so far i’ve had just over 1400 pictures on one card. I typically swap them out every other day, 120-285 pictures. I delete the pictures when I’m done and use them over. Been using them for 6-8 weeks

My 2. 5-year-old phone began grinding to a halt because I had used up most of the internal storage. I popped this into my phone and it felt like I have a new phone again. I have more space to store data and my phone works so much faster now.

Unfortunately, my camera is an older one, but very good, reliable and still takes great photos with a very good megapizel. However, at the time is was made, the maximum storage memory card it could handle was a 2GB.

Therefore, even though the 4GB & 8GB cards are flooding the market and fantastically inexpensive prices ($10!), they do not work in my camera! Because most people have only NEW technology that use the larger GB cards, the stores NO longer carry the smaller cards and I was unable to find ANYTHING smaller than 4GB.

I was fortunate to locate a 2GB card online, through Walmart! I was happy to purchase the 2-pack, in case they stopped producing them altogether, and at the price I paid, was worth getting 2 at this time.

We have used SanDisk for years, and know they are reliable and photos are produced at the same quality as the image it was taken.

The 2GB SD card standard has changed over the past 17 years. Not all 2GB cards will work in every device. Sometimes one has to search a bit to get the right variation based on the camera or device’s age.

The vendor of the card will work with you to make sure you get the correct card for your device at no additional cost to you. You may just have to put in a little extra effort.

Great value 2 pack lexar platinum, I mostly take still photos using Nikon, Olympus, and Samsung cameras. Want to begin exploring movie production using primarily my Oly OMD EM5 so these cards meet the specs in the Olympus manual.

If you are going to swtch cards between multiple cameras be certain to format card in camera before use. One other tip is that if a card has photos on it and is switched to another brand camera the photos might not be visible in that camera and might be overwritten or give a card error message.

As others have noted these card did not come with the plastic cases.

Had no trouble with the card until I tried to record 4k videos on my Fujifilm X-T20. It started giving me an error message saying “writing error” (I believe) and it would end the recording by itself after about 10 seconds or so.

It would still save the video but wouldn’t let me record the video longer than a few seconds. After I changed the SD card (I can’t recall what the specs of that card were), I had no issues recording 4k videos.

Works great on everything else, but just not on 4k video.

I ordered 6 of these because of the price. I prefer 32 gb cards because of the price. These are dependable a I’ve used them quite a lot. If you are shooting scenes with high burst rates like action of motorcycle racing you may want a faster card.

The d500 i use can shoot 10 fps at jpeg on hi res. For my photography , which is a lot of scenic , and street photography they are certainly more than adequate.

Needed compatible card for Monoprice Mini Delta 3D printer. Other cards did not work even after formating to FAT32. This one worked first time, no formating needed. Bought a second card since memory is only 2GB.

The description of this product (Transcend 2 GB microSD Flash Memory Card TS2GUSD ) does not specify its read/write speed. There were also no speed class markings (‘class-2/4’etc. ) on the card, because the speed class rating only applies to SDHC cards.

But according to my testing, this Transcend card is at least equivalent to a ‘class-4’, maybe even a ‘class-6’. I used three different benchmark programs to measure the read/write speed of this card.

Its read-speed is consistently high at around 15MB/s, while its write-speed is strongly dependent on the file size: – When writing small files of 1-2MB in size, its write speed is just 2. 5-3. 5MB/s – When writing larger files of 3-5MB (typical photo files), its write speed improved to 4.

5-6MB/s – When writing huge files of 500MB-1GB (typical video files), its write speed reached 7MB/s (See my uploaded charts in the ‘Customer Images’ section for details) The performance of this Transcend card is very similar to that of several Sandisk ‘class-4’ cards I have tested before (by the way, a Sandisk ‘class-4’ card typically out-perform ‘class-6’ cards from other flash memory makers).

Therefore I expect no problems when using this un-rated Transcend card in most appliances (such as digital point-and-shoot cameras). Of course, the capacity of this card is pretty small by today’s standard.

But the whole point of getting a 2GB SD card is to maintain maximum compatibility with older appliances, because most of them cannot accept higher-capacity SDHC cards. As of this writing, this Transcend card is priced lower than a ‘blue label’ (slowest speed)SanDisk 2 GB SD Flash Memory Card SDSDB-002G , yet it offers similar performance as a class-4 Sandisk card.

That makes the Transcend a great value.

I needed a non-HC micro SD card (under 2Gb) for my Monoprice (MP) Mini V2 3D printer. I went through 5 or 6 different SD cards but they were all high-capacity and incompatible with my printer. I received the card today, immediately uploaded my file, and on the first try it finally read my file.

For the value and need to have an SD card for this function it works great. Ironically enough what sold it for me was the review left by another fellow MP Mini user so I thought I’d pass it along as well that this will work perfectly for the printer.

This is from Lexar, which is a good company right after Sandisk. This is a high capacity card but kind of slow at 266x, but that is an after thought considering that is its advertised rating. But with such a high capacity card, the biggest concern is reliability with so much data capable of being stored on the card.

I usually back up after a day’s worth of shooting which is about 10gb, so i have not filled up the card but so far it is reliable. It is kind of slow downloading 10gb at 266x speed. In the end, if you only need 16gb of data and backup right away, i would probably pick a faster 6oox 16gb from Sandisk.

I purchased this drone to do still photography and will review it for that. I’m also not a drone pilot who like to fly for the sake of flying, nor have I shot any video with this aircraft. If you have an interested in an aerial still camera, then this review could be relevant.

I purchased this drone because it is small and would be ideal for travel and for flying in tight interior spaces. My other drone is an Autel EVO2 pro which I base this comparison on. First off the drone flies very nicely.

It is also easy to control. The app is easy to use and the 3 flight modes (Cine, Normal and Sport) being a switch on the controller makes switching back and forth very easy. I use Cine to compose a shot and Sport to get back when the batteries are starting to get too low.

I wanted a 1 sensor camera and this one is not bad for stills. I can only compare it with the Autel and think that the color is a little more true in the raw images files, but that is something easily fixed in post.

Where the DJI camera falls short is in fine detail. Although both drones have a 20mp camera, the detail in the Autel is better, especially when there are fine details in the background. Maybe it is because the DJI has a wider angle lens.

Still, the difference is minor and this drone’s camera will do well for what I purchased it for. If I want to make a fine art landscape, I’ll use the Autel, but for the convenience of size, the DJI will do just fine.

One last thing. I hesitated to buy this drone because of the fixed f/2. 8 aperture, but after using it, don’t see this as being a drawback. Depth of field isn’t an issue with a lens this wide and the way most aerial stills are done.

I received the item, and it appears to be a legitimate, brand-new SanDisk SD card (the packaging is identical to their usual products). I tested the item from day one after receiving it, but, after three reformats with different file systems and done with different devices, I couldn’t get this SD card to work.

However, the seller was excellent. They honored a completely frictionless refund, and were very responsive to my inquiries. This rating is more for the seller than the product, which I’m mixed on recommending.

On the one hand, I understand that electronics do occasionally fail, so maybe I got a lemon. On the other hand, this price feels too good to be true. I got mine (a 512 GB SD card) for about $40, and, as of this writing, it’s available for less than $30.

That’s less than half of what you’d pay anywhere else, even online (Black Friday deals and similar aside). I guess buy at your own risk, but at least, if you go with this seller, they’ll take care of you if you do have problems.

This review is specific to B&H Photo. I almost bought a Nintendo-branded SD card for a fairly noticeable markup before I did my reading and settled on this. TL;DR this card is probably good enough for your Nintendo Switch (though some may enjoy the upgrade pick of the SanDisk Extreme tier).

From what I can see, storage media fraud (e. g. bogus SD cards that actually only contain a fraction of their stated capacity) is on the rise at several outlets, which is why it’s important for me to specify that this review is also a vote of confidence for B&H.

By selling the card directly to me (and not acting as an intermediary for a third-party seller), B&H has skin in the game, and gives me added peace of mind that they stand by what they sold. It’s a bit sad that I have to say this, but the card I received was (happily) exactly what it said on the tin – a card with 512 GB (~477 GiB) that gladly ingested its full capacity at an acceptable speed.

I do not notice any performance difference when playing games on my Switch, but I was buying this for the space, not for the blazing read speed.

Actually I’ve always used sandisk. But as the quality became different so I started looking for something stable and came to the Lexar. And where to buy it to get not a fake? Of course from the dealer.

So I came to BH where in addition to the above I also received a good price with a discount. As for the card itself: looks solid and quality made. The speed is enough for recording 4K video in max quality on my Canon R6 in non-stop mode (I’ll post the exact speed later but you can find it everywhere).

The price-speed ratio is the best. I have Lexar not so long so I can’t say much about the failure and durability but it should be good regarding reviews. I currently recommend this product.

I take extreme pride in purchasing ONLY the best no matter the cost. Everything I purchase is usually at minimum top of the line. When these Lexar cards went on sale, I did something I usually would never do.

I tried to save some money! BIG MISTAKE! I purchased (6) of the 128 gb, and (2) of the 256 gb. Thinking these are professional grade with all the bells and whistles per the label. If the photos or video you put into these is critical, DO NOT BUY these! On 1st day, one of the 125 gb failed, saying the card cannot be read, and must be formatted (I took and it held a bunch of photos in it!), I started second guessing myself thinking do they need to be formatted first? But then realized, I have never had to do that in the past with Scandisk drives in the past! With no other choice, I formatted it (lost all the photos).

Then the 256 gb failed, saying the same thing, it must be formatted with wedding photos in it! This time it would not even format. just a complete FAILURE! (luckily I use Canon with dual disk and had a back up Scandisk CF card with the photos! If I did not, I would have lost a Wedding!! I hate to leave this bad review! But, you can see from my experience it is very, very deserving!! To Lexar get it together or get out of the business!! For some like myself, the possibility of losing photos or videos is just NOT an Options.

I got these cards as they were recommended for a new Canon EOS 90D camera I was purchasing from B&H. I have also used Lexar Professional media cards in my other digital cameras and a new Canon HF G60 video camera.

My Lexar media cards have all functioned properly and I have never had one fail. So when I saw that these Lexar 128gb Professional cards were recommended for my new Canon 90D, I added the 2-pack to my camera order.

I have no complaints about the card. I tested it against the Scandisk Extreme with clearing out the buffer with 18 MB raw files and it was only slightly slower. It took 21 seconds against the 18 for the scandisk.

When it came to jpeg photos the buffer never filled. It could keep up with my constant burst with no significant slowing. I liked it so much that I bought two.

This card is the fastest I found for my D7000 and for my D800. I shoot raw. The D800 buffers out at about 12 frames when shooting continuously. This card will have all 12 frames saved to the card about 30% faster than any other card I have found.

Note, I have played with 3 or 4 different brand name cards up to 90MBs.
