I’ll tell ya, technology simply amazes me. This thing is like, no bigger than a literal thumbnail, and it’s as thick as like two sheets of paper, but you can store 32 GIGS of information on it, lickitty-split! I mean, how do they even do that? It’s like, did you ever make like a little cheat sheet in gradeschool to help you cheat on a test and you wrote like suuuuuuper tiny on a small piece of paper so you could hide it and use it to fool your parents into thinking that you’re a genius when it comes to (ultimately useless) knowledge, but even with all that effort, you can only fit a few paragraphs on the darn thing? Well, this is like that, but much, much larger.

And more digital. Wait, is this digital?. I think it is. But if it’s not, my guess is that they actually have a trained amoeba in there just WAITING for you to upload information to it, whereby it’ll then dink it all out on a little tiny stone tablet with a chisel, and then file it away safely until you zap it with an electrical signal, thus prompting it to retrieve the correct tablet from its filing location, so that you can fully enjoy it in all of its comprehensive coolness.

Anyway, yeah, you should probably buy this thing.

Great purchase, plenty of storage even if you like to download movies & music. Used it to upgrade a Galaxy Tab A Lite that was light on internal memory & needed more power to run. Nothing more annoying than constant reminders that your memory is full & the additional tedious task of deleteing things from your memory.

It was also the best priced microSD card I could find, & I comparison shopped for weeks. Its definitely not cheap in quality though, it comes formatted & ready to go. Switched it between 4 devices to try it out & it worked every time!.

Works great in my Canon EOS 80D. Appears to record quickly on rapid shots of bird flight. Would buy again based on short time usage evaluation

This card was purchased with the intent to use it as a hard drive replacement for an old pc, however the IDE to SD card device didn’t work properly at all. So now the card inhabits my 5 year old’s kid camera.

And it is working quite well there.

Nice sliding “DATA LOCK” key. Made out of a ‘gripping” plastic – others have been VERY annoying when they accidentally lock, so you can’t save data. Small but HUGE improvement, also nicely formatted for quick use+++++.

This card is junk. Twice I copied files to the SD card totaling 130GB and both times the video files became corrupt. If I move any files into folders on the drive they magically deleted themselves. The folders remained but nothing was in them.

For some reason after all the the poor reviews the seller cut the price in half. This card is going back since it has no value at all.

This card is defective. You can copy files to it but then after the copying is complete the files vanish from the folders. I tried formatting the card both quick and full and the same problem was present.

The package looked authentic, but it is clearly not a real SanDisk card.

Don’t waste your money on cheaper memory cards, you’ll pay more for an authentic SanDisk but it’s highly worth it. You get what you pay for with other memory cards and it’s not worth the aggravation and dealing with lost or corrupt pictures and files.

Certain things you can’t afford to gamble with, this is one of them. SanDisk transfers and copies files, photos, and videos with lightning speed. Get it and forget about it. You’ll be happy.

The A7iii has one UHS-ii slot and one UHS-i slot. If you want a backup to the UHS-I slot, the fastest way to do it is to shoot compressed raw to both. JPG to slot 2 takes longer. Uncompressed raw takes much longer.

That means the UHS-II rating on slot 1 is useless for backed-up shooting. Using two of these is cheaper and just as fast as two UHS-II cards according to my testing, at least for writing on camera. If you don’t need a backup, get a UHS-II card.

I shoot compressed raw because I can shoot silent at 1/125sec indoors without banding, vs 1/60s for uncompressed raw.

I’m a wedding photographer, and I took a bit of a chance and bought these 256GB cards over the 128GB SD cards. I normally prefer smaller multiple cards in case something happens, and I don’t lose all of my files to a single card.

But, I’m using this card as a back-up to my CFexpress cards. Read my review about the ProGrade 256GB CFe card. I’m so glad I have this card, and it’s rock solid stable. This card saved my hide when the CFe card failed in the first card slot.

Fast transfer speeds from the card to the computer, and the write speed to the card doesn’t create much of a bottle neck. After two weddings with this card, I’ve only hit the buffer once with my Z6 II.

I have a two of these cards, one in each Z6 II, and I’m happy I don’t ever have to think about switching out those two cards. Just insert, and forget them all wedding day. Definitely recommended.

Sandisk have a very good reputation when it comes to S. D. cards I have found no problems with the ones I have bought. Before buying these cards make sure the camera can handle the capacity of 64gb which may have not been invisaged when the camera was made.

This version is the ultra extreme example so you will get the quicker processing speed if you are taking low light or action photography. I have found out that on some Sony and Panasonic cameras use two different ways of processing the image within the camera, yes you can use the same card for both cameras but if you are re-touching pictures make sure you use the right camera to do so.

As with others, worked for a while then difficult to read onto the computer, then wont read at all. Luckily, I had backed up my photos onto my iPad using a photo transfer app. The photos were there for a moment on the computer, then nothing all photos deleted.

I have a number of sandisk cards, and interestingly looking at the quality of the print, the plastic and the quality of the made in China impression on the back, there are distinct differences. which leads me to believe this product is a fake.

I wont buy these of Amazon again, I am afraid it is only Argos or similar for me from now on. Buy cheap, buy twice as they say.

Great Service. Item as described, a reliable and fast SDXC memory card. Sufficient for editing and sharing of 4K UHD and HD video recording. Very happy. It is also described as weather proof. Great for street photography and documentary.

Purchased 2 of the 2TB NVMe ssd units. They are great – dropped right in to my Dell laptop and give me the speed advertised in Windows 10 with no other changes. If you are hesitating, don’t. Easy upgrade for space and speed.

I have a few raspberry Pis and wanted a SD which was fast enough, reliable and not to expensive. These seem to be living upto expectations. I have 4 or 5 of these 32GB cards now, either in a Raspberry Pi or rotated out when I want to use it for something else.

I the few months I have had these cards I have found them to fast enough that I do not worry about it much and since none have given any problems I will say they seem fairly reliable so far.

This card failed totally after only 10 weeks. I bought it to use in a second camera, so had extremely light use. I would not buy this brand again.

Not a lot to say really its an SD card, it works fine and Ive had no problems with its function or storage. Good value for money.

After using the Verbatim 4GB SDHC Memory Card in my camera I was very pleased with the results. This is the right memory card capacity for my camera and the results were good. My only regret is that the card did not come with the clear hard plastic little case that memory cards used to come with, because the case was good for storage.

16+GB cards are overkill for the amount of photography I do with my digital camera. Verbatim still makes 4GB cards which are just right for me. The read/write speed is decent on both my camera and my laptop.

I received the item, and it appears to be a legitimate, brand-new SanDisk SD card (the packaging is identical to their usual products). I tested the item from day one after receiving it, but, after three reformats with different file systems and done with different devices, I couldn’t get this SD card to work.

However, the seller was excellent. They honored a completely frictionless refund, and were very responsive to my inquiries. This rating is more for the seller than the product, which I’m mixed on recommending.

On the one hand, I understand that electronics do occasionally fail, so maybe I got a lemon. On the other hand, this price feels too good to be true. I got mine (a 512 GB SD card) for about $40, and, as of this writing, it’s available for less than $30.

This review is specific to B&H Photo. I almost bought a Nintendo-branded SD card for a fairly noticeable markup before I did my reading and settled on this. TL;DR this card is probably good enough for your Nintendo Switch (though some may enjoy the upgrade pick of the SanDisk Extreme tier).

I purchased the Transcend 32GB SDHC Class 10 flash card several years ago for my then new Nikon Coolpix B700. Recently replaced the lithium ion battery as it no longer held a full charge. At the same time, I changed out the Transcend card, as part of a camera tuneup.

I have an army of SD cards, some of them dating back to the original standard development days. I had purchased two of these for 4K video camera and I admit they worked well as storage devices. Overall rather light usage as I don’t deal with cameras on the daily basis.

Some weekends, vacations, etc. One of the two Transcend cards had developed a habit of locking itself into read-only mode while being inserted into a card reader. It wasn’t a huge deal – I had to remove the card, unlock it using the slider and insert it while keeping the slider from any contact with the reader opening.

I realized after a while that the slider should have had a firm hold in the unlocked position like other cards that require much more effort to move that piece. One day, after two years of occasional usage, I find it locked again.

I pull it out of the reader to find the slider missing. It popped out and disappeared. I had requested an RMA and sent the card in. In reality, all that I would be happy with if the card was switched to unlocked, as I never even use the feature, as long as I could continue using it.

From the physical appearance, the card is in great condition. Outside of the normal wear on the electrical contacts and minimal wear on the front label, it’s like new. Now with a cracked shell caused by the slider mechanism falling out.

The response I have received from Transcend was just sad. Quoted were “physical damage”, not “normal usage”, and “human error”. Of course, they refused to fix or replace it. Goodbye Transcend.

I have purchased several Transcend SD and SDHC cards over the years for their excellent quality and longevity. Years ago when I first had a need for SD cards I went with the perceived leader in flash memory tech.

My first was a 500 MB card for a 5mp Konica-Minolta point and shoot camera and after one usage the card became corrupted and was unusable. Thinking it was a fluke, I then purchased another Sandisk SD card, this time a 1 GB card and once again, after only one use in the Konica-Minolta camera the card became corrupt and unusable.

I knew it could not be the camera as the 128 MB card that came with the camera was still working after having to fill in from all the Sandisk failures. That’s when I stumbled upon Transcend (~circa 2006?).

For less money I was able to purchase larger cards than I could from Sandisk and to this day that first SD card is still working in my Konica-Minolta camera. I then graduated to a DSLR and my latest DSLR is a 16mp camera that also shoots 1080p video so I have the need for the SDHC cards.

I also use them in my ASUS Transformer 10. 1 tablet, microSD in the tablet itself and SDHC in the detachable keyboard. To date I have not had a failure in a Transcend flash memory card and I own 4 32GB, 1 16GB, 1 4GB and 3 2GB.

Also just got another 2GB card for my Konica-Minolta before they are no longer available.

First of all I have say that I LOVE Micro Center and I rely on them for 95% of my computer and peripheral needs BUT I must call a spade a spade. In early October I placed an order pickup for Samsung 256GB SDXC and was told at the counter that there was an error and they were actually out of stock.

They offered substitute Micro Center branded 256GB SDXC with a modest discount. I had good luck with them in the past and thought why not. Big mistake because this card went into my LG G7 ThinQ. Performed long format using official SD Card Formatter and loaded up with ~70GB data.

Everything was fine until three months later when apps accessing SD card locked up and pics took a long time to store with the default camera app. Checked capacity and only 80GB occupied. Multiple resets and card cleanings did not remedy.

Suspected the card when I changed storage to internal memory and all issues went away. Purchased Samsung 256GB from Micro Center and all is quiet again with my smartphone. Again no knock on Micro Center, but the card may be limited for light duty usage.

seems like a great value. ive briefly used it to transfer some files from one computer to another. in doing so i felt i maxxed out its capacity. seemed to get really hot and may have failed 75% thru about 25g of data.

i let it cool off for a minute and then put it back to work no issues. im not really an expert here but the card still seems to work fine aside from that one instance. im just not typically writing 25g of data onto it at max speed so i assume there wont be issues in the future.

I purchased the higher end SD because I was planning to use it for a Raspberry Pi workstation. After a month of use, I noticed the access speed started to slow, then one morning it failed. Luckily, I back everything up, all the time, so I didn’t loose anything.

The problem I had is due to inconvenience, price, and effort for replacement. When an SD card is 32G or less, the loss isn’t significant, but when the size gets near the T level, the data loss can be horrific.

Let the buyer beware.

I have had this card plugged into my Toshiba laptop for a few months now, as backup storage for my music. The card has worked without problems and has proved to be fast enough for quickly uploading and error free playback of 320kbps MP3 files.

I think that the card is rated as a Class 4 card, so I dont know if it will prove quick enough for the latest generation of video and still digital cameras. I did try it in my wifes little Canon digital camera and it did seem to work OK with still and video capture but this camera is a couple of years old now.

There were no problems with formatting of the card in either application. It does seem to me that SD cards either work for years without an issue, or that they are faulty straight out of the box or very soon afterwards, so far I have not had a problem with the Sandisk brand at all.

As I have said in other reviews, just make sure that you buy from a reputable dealer and dont end up with a dodgy knock off product very cheap prices are often an indication of a counterfeit product.

There are other reviews on Amazon which discuss how to spot fakes esp. Sandisk SD cards, so browse the reviews for advice. In short this card reliably does what it is supposed to and for a reasonable price.

I bought mine through Jarlink and they have provided good service at a sensible price.

I used this in my Nikon D7000 for around a year. Its been formatted as FAT32 since purchase in June 2012. Everything was going well, we recorded the first days of my sons life on it, all but one of the photos was ok.

Since the images are around 20MB in raw getting a patch of bad blocks means you will probably ruin a few photos as worst. Sadly theyre ruined in a way that makes them totally unusable. This is particularly annoying since Ive not filled the card as much as this in the past, so they were probably dead blocks on arrival but I just hadnt ever used that section before.

Since the card lasted 24 months Im going to give this just two stars and thats due to the pricing. Ive had other cards much smaller than this cycled many many times without problem good work Kingston, even unbranded cards lasted longer.

If Id used this card in a Raspberry Pi or for heavy writes then Id expect a short life, but for light use I dont get much time with the camera Im surprised of such a short life.

The SanDisk works very well in my Nintendo 3DSXL. I had the original 4GB one and this only allowed me to store one game. If you want to transfer your save files from your old SD card to the new one then do the followingTake out the old SD card and place it into the PC SD card reader slot Or a card reader USB if you have oneCopy the file that says Nintendo.

Do not do anything to this folder just right click copy and paste it into something like your Documents. Place the new SD card into the reader once the files are copied. Just drag them onto the new SD.

You will now be able to continue where you left off on the new SD card on your 3DS. I have had no problem with this SD cards reading or writing. It is very fast when it comes to reading and writing game files and I am enjoying using it.

I can now store my other downloaded games that I had to remove from the DS to install Pokemon Sun.

I have only used this SD card for a couple of months and it totally disintegrated. I never used it often only on one holiday trip for my camera. I took it out of my camera to view the pictures when i got home on my new laptop which has an SD slot and it just fell apart.

I did not force it or was heavy handed. Lucky I had just downloaded the pictures that were on it otherwise they would have been lost forever. Not only that but a very small piece of plastic came off and was left in my SD slot in my vaio laptop making it useless.

I eventually fished it out but this is just to warning so that it does not happen to you. This is a cheap load of rubbish and is now in pieces on my desk and the next stop for it is the bin where it belongs.

The card works fine in my Canon G9 and Samsung GX20 cameras. Neither the card nor the packaging gives information about its class or speed. I guess this is because it is a slower card. However, in use it is quick enough.

I recorded film on my G9 without any issues. Photos seem to save and review quickly enough. Seems a decent enough card. Reliability will show with time. Note you must have a device and a reader which can use SDHC not same as SD cards.

Works as expected in SDHC compatible cameras, such as the Fujifilm FinePix F100fd, and gave a boost in speed when compared to using XD cards. However I wouldnt pay more for this when SanDisk cards are 1 cheaper 2 have a speed rating and 3 come with a 5 year warranty.

For some reason technical details are missing from Stationery Packs for the Intenso card I even looked on the Intenso website but couldnt find any further information. Annoying packaging that requires scissors to open, I much prefer other packaging This card works as expected, but gives no reason or benefit as to why anyone should buy this over cheaper more well established companies products.

i bought this card with my little IXUS 95 Canon compact camera. Everything is working fine. I have always bought Verbatim disks and the quality was always there. This is no different. However, this card is not as fast as my Transcend.

Next, month when I get my Canon DSLR, I will get a transcend 16 gig class 10 for it. I think for price and performance. The Transcend is the best you can buy. It is my opinion anyway. To each their own right!!.

I like verbatim since i had my first computer. I remember i used to buy verbatim diskettes and it works great. This memory works great, i have one and i never have troubles with this, neither i lost information, so i recommended it.

great product. using it with my Sony camera. can store 6000 plus photos good for taking on holiday. no need to download photos until come home. great for taking movie shots as well overall cannot fault.
