20 Best Scratch Resistant Polarized Sunglasses (2023 Updated)

First, the bad: the glare and vision quality is so bad off the insides of these glasses that I often have to take them off while driving in the sun, or transitioning from darker areas into lighter areas (like dappled sun) while riding my bike, which is utterly counterintuitive.

I don’t have a problem wearing them to walk around or for other casual uses, though, just uses where reflection is a factor. The good: first off, these survived being chewed on by a dog; I thought for sure an arm would snap off or a lens would pop out, but no.

Unfortunately, the teeth marks all over the lenses mean I have to replace them anyway. Also, these are cute, and stay on my face *incredibly* well. I have a sloping nose and weirdly angled ears that means most glasses constantly need to be pushed up, but not these.

The grippiness is perfect — they stay put, but they’re not the kind of sticky that gets caught on your hair or pulls on your skin. They’re a great width, too.

I like these sunglasses so much that I bought a backup pair, just in case I lost the first pair. Then that actually happened, so I started wearing the backup pair and thought to myself “I better guy another backup!” Fortunately I found the first pair again, which now lives in my car, but I decided to order _two_ more backups, just in case.

I kind of hate shopping for sunglasses which fit and don’t look ridiculous, so now that I’ve found some I like, I hope they keep making this exact product _forever_. Well, maybe not forever, but at least for a long time….

I wanted a new pair of sunglasses for running. They can’t slip while running (i. e. sweating), and they can’t touch my cheeks. I had a pair of Tifosi’s several years back and they always worked well.

This new pair also works very well. They’ve stayed in place during several 6 miles runs in warm weather. I’m sold and am considering a second pair.

These are good glasses for what I need. I have started to get the reader version as I get older but I really like the reader for tying knots and checking the GPS while underway. Still good vision for sighting fish in the flats but I wish they had the readers with the same brown lens but a green mirror surface finish like I had when I didn’t need readers.

Costa was also really good with the warranty with this pair-they used a rubber nose insert with the original pair that failed, and they happily sent me a new pair that has an updated nose styling so I was impressed with their customer service.

Really like Costa’s quality for the price.

Fashion over function with these overpriced shades. Got a pair, new from Costa, for kayaking. Had less than a year, used only on weekends while kayaking. Bought glass lenses so I wouldn’t have to worry about scratching them.

Guess what? They scratch as easy as their plastic competitors. Ok- I’ll get a replacement lens, right? Contacted Luxia, was quoted. $123 for ONE lens. For that, I can buy almost 10 pairs of pretty good Sea Striker polarized shades.

This is, however, my fault for not checking on the replacement/warranty costs, because had I, I wouldn’t have purchased these over-priced ‘trendy’ shades. They’re made for people w/ ‘Salt Life’ stickers on their Z71s that live inland.

I loved my 1st pair of Tuna Alley’s so much I bought another. I am on the water fishing every week open water and on the ice as much as I can weather permitting. The first pair of Tuna Alley’s I bought have a green mirror and I cannot be on the water without them.

My eyes have become accustomed to the superior visibility and protection these glasses have given me. With that being said I wanted to try a Blue Mirror because I do a lot of fishing on big open bodies of water such as Mille Lacs, Lake of the Woods and Green Bay.

This past weekend Sunday, February 9th I was on Lake Superior and this was the 1st time I wore the new glasses. Lake Superior does not safely freeze over every year where you can get out and ice fish so this was something you cannot do everyday.

Instead of running a snowmobile or ATV we walked out and back. It was snowing and the wind was blowing. I was so happy to have my Costa’s on. They performed as expected. No fogging up, snow blindness is non existent and the Tuna Alley’s allow my eyes to read the terrain with pinpoint definition.

On the way in that afternoon my girlfriend was complaining that she couldn’t see and i quickly realized how fortunate i was to have on Costa’s. Looks like my next pair of Costa’s purchased my have to be for her.

Most comfortable and lightweight sunglasses I own. I have 2 other pairs of Maui Jim’s and find myself grabbing for these 80% of the time. The pink mirror Maui Rose ones are so fun and do a great job of keeping all views so beautiful and clear.

I see a lot of comments about these glasses being so lightweight that they tip on the face. Well, that’s the idea. They’re easily adjustable to give you a custom fit. Basically, I just place them on my face to find that sweet spot and they just grip and stay in place.

I think it’s because of the special nose pieces and rubbery temples that grab onto the skin really gently but firmly. Once I have them in place and situated, they never move. That’s what I love about them.

They are not flimsy in anyway. They are actually sturdy…looks are deceiving. One other thing I want to mention is that if you are wearing a mask, the nose pieces fit perfectly at my bridge and I never got any steaming.

In fact, it’s the only pair of sunglasses I own currently that don’t steam up or fog up when I’m wearing a mask. I dropped them once and thought that was the end of it…but no issues! Customer service is great.

FED EX lost my glasses during the holidays (not Maui Jim’s fault). Customer service at MJ did not hesitate to help me track the package and send personal updates. Even offered up a new pair if need be.

Great glasses and great customer service. Also, I’d suggest getting the care kit…nice quality cloth and spray in a high quality travel case for ten dollars. Worth every penny!.

I am so happy to finally have a pair of sunglasses that work for me on a paddle court, thank you! Play is often directed facing the winter sun at such a difficult angle that the ball and sun ‘become one’ at times.

My Hema’s give me the best chance of seeing the ball, and because of their low profile design, allow me to wear a trucker hat to assist in minimising the sun’s glare. I’ve also noticed on those cold days in the teens or single digit temps that ‘breath fog’ is no longer troubling.

For the other side of the court, peeper keepers keep my Hema’s at hand and safely off the ground.

I returned the Ola to exchange for the Hema and am very pleased. The Ola was supposed to be for “large face or head” but it squeezed my face so hard it would leave indentions. The Hema, at half the price, are twice as comfortable and truly do fit larger / wider faces and heads.

I wish they had these in a gold frame, but I still like HCL Bronze lenses on these. The. lenses aren’t quite as big as the Ola or others I’ve had, but for a “Frameless” design, if you want something lightweight and comfortable, I think these are great.

The most essential thing for sunglasses is the way they fit an individual face. For me, it has always been difficult to find sunglasses that fit my rather low nose bridge, as Asian Fit glasses usually fit me best.

The glasses that work best for me are the Oakley Half Jacket with raised nose pads, and the Oakley Holbrook. When I tried these on, I instantly knew they were a winner. Somehow 100 Percent has managed to create a sunglass that fits almost all face types.

They’re light and they stay in place as well, which is important for active pursuits that these sunglasses lend themselves towards. Time will tell how the optics perform, but so far, the photochromic feature changes shade within 90 seconds or so.

The periphipheral view is adequate, and the frame bar in the middle of the sunglass does not get in the way of vision.

I’m new to mountain biking – I was riding with my son’s team with regular polarized spy sunglasses at practices just before dusk and had to take them off when sunlight started to decrease. For days I’d have problems with all the dust in my eyes.

Some other coaches and seasoned riders had these. I had ordered some cheap knock offs from Amazon I returned because they distorted vision and figured why spend the money on junk and instead use it towards investing in a decent pair.

I wear them the entire practice even though we end just before dark, no issues with dust and they are so comfortable I forget I have them on.

This is my first pair of 100percent sunglasses and I’m very pleased with them. The S2 model is not in the super wide ones, which os perfect for me as I don’t have a wide face. Also, the height adds eye protection without being too much.

And finally really like the matte black and soft gold, as they add a touch of elegance without being too loud.

I had been aware of the William Painter brand for several months but could not pull the trigger on making a purchase. Something about not being able to try on a pair before buying was a bridge I had not crossed.

But after having gone through a dozen cheap brands and having them break or fall apart I decided to take the plunge. Using a ruler (no really) I used the millimeter measurements of my best fitting pair and it matched The Level most closely.

Thus I made my first purchase and UPS delivered it a little earlier than I was expecting, which was a bonus. The first thing I noticed after opening the case and holding The Level is how weighty it feels.

Not weighty as in heavy, but as in material quality. If you’ve ever held a premiere type of credit card in one hand and a regular plastic one in the other. it’s like that. Just the tactile feel of titanium is so different, and colder, than traditional sunglasses.

Those arms folded out deliberately and smoothly with no loose wiggling. That first time I tried them on it was a very distinctly different feel. Yes the arms felt a little cold initially when they contacted my head but they warmed up quickly soon after.

The lenses almost completely covered my field of vision save for a sliver eyeing straight up. My only minor wish was the bridge could be extended so the bottoms of the lens weren’t resting on my cheeks.

But I took a walk with them and was looking around like some kid trying out a new toy. Those arms held snugly but not with a tight pinching feel. I was able to swing my head all around and never felt The Level hint that it might slip from its set place.

So to sum it up William Painter, you have won me over. I’ll be back when I need another pair as a gift, be it for myself or someone else.

This is my second pair of The Level. I loved my first pair so much and wore them everywhere for several years. I have a big melon and the fit me perfectly, the construction is strong and solid and with the dark glass I had very clear vision – perfect! Recently I lost them and fretted for a couple of weeks before buying my second pair.

The day before the new pair arrived I found the originals – so now have a set I leave in the car and the other I take with me everywhere. Have never had a better pair of sunglasses – ever!.

I want to begin with my first purchase (The Hook). When I received my glasses, I tried them on. I loved the craftsmanship (everything you read about on the website – indestructible titanium and the look of the glasses), but they were too tight.

So unfortunately, I had to return them and order the pair I now possess. Some time after I shipped them back through USPS (maybe a day), I received a message saying it could take a week or longer. WRONG!! I received these in a few days – thanks for the prompt delivery.

I love these glasses and have shown them off to my friends & family. I will be recommending these glasses to everyone I know. Recommendation – if you need a wider pair, the Level is a perfect fit for me (not loose nor too tight).

First let me say that I have been a huge fan of Costa Del Mar sunglasses and apparel for a long time. I have recently had the worst experience though. I always thought that I paid $300 for these glasses because the company was so good and easy to work with.

Admittedly I have never experienced an issue until my last pair. (Which will be my 2nd pair of the same exact glasses for my husband, and the 5th pair that we have bought as a couple). We had these glasses about a week and my husband told me that there was a discoloration on the left lens, but I was never able to see it.

Sure enough he had them IN THE CASE IT CAME WITH, in the vehicle and the glass cracked. When I tried to get them to replace the lens they said it was OUR fault!! These glasses have never even been breathed on in a hard way, much less for one of us to break a lens!! I am disgusted and appalled and ashamed of myself for spending over a grand on products from this company.

OK. This could get long but heres my story I wanted a made in usa sunglasses for my Florida fishing excursion that would take me to Alaska and also double as great everyday pheasant hunting glasses in my home state of South Dakota.

I’m an example of the buy once cry once theory and made the purchase. My son also bought some costas that have the same qualities and deficiencys as mine. Lets get to the great things these glasses have.

They are lightweight and you don’t even notice you are wearing them. The lenses are great. durable and have clarity and all that is advertised of them. But there are definitely some sad notes. They fog so easy it is really annoying.

I noticed this in other reviews also. so evidently there is an issue. After wearing them for 4 months the plastic nose piece is failing. Today the nosepiece finally departed from the frame. I mentioned this to my son and his(which were a different model) were doing the same.

So I figured lets send them in to get repaired. Well not so fast Chico. The online form that is needed to get a service order started is like applying for a house mortgage. I filled out the form entirely.

Wow, now its wait and see if Costa even wants to fix them. So my review is a 3 star for performance with a fogging issue but for the 200 smackers I paid I figured for a Made In USA product I would get a product that is fully supported by the manufacture.

Im probably on my 4th pair of fantail sunglasses. Although I really enjoy the glasses, excellent for deep sea fishing. Wear them all the time whilst fishing. I am getting rather frustrated that after a period of time (Year – 2 Years) the rubbers keep on de-laminating from the frame.

It takes about 6 – 8 weeks to get a replacement pair. the new pair after a year the noise piece is starting to de-laminate. Surely you guys should have sorted this problem out by now because I know i’m not the only person with this problem.

An avid fisherman actually changed to another brand. Very disappointing.

I received my pair a few days ago and I love the style and quality of the frame and lenses. HOWEVER, due to the way that the frame was created, one arm of the glasses would not open as wide as the other side.

This permanently made the glasses crooked on my face. I was able to use a dremel tool to shave off part of the frame which allowed the arm to open correctly. I would have sent these back if it wasn’t for the style and quality besides this issue.

I would likely buy from here again despite this issue.

I really like the style and fit of the Emerson, but the quality is low for what I would expect. I have a few sub-$50 sunglasses and these are below the pack in a couple regards. 1) The frames are pretty flimsy plastic.

2) The hinges are fairly stiff and the frame flexes when you open or close them. These two issues combined make them feel fairly cheap. I also have a sizable blemish in the frame plastic under one lens.

I loved the look from the website, but once I got them…. The functional design needs some work, the way these are shaped they need a nose piece that comes out more. They just lay strait on your face, plastic to skin (not very comfortable).

The frames are also super wide! My face is slightly above average (size) and these frames fall off at every chance. Wish they were smaller and had a nose piece to keep directly off your face….

I got these sunglasses in black a few weeks ago. They are very sleek and pretty, but not for me. I have an average size head/face, maybe even a little bigger, and they still fell down constantly. I was always pushing them back up which is not ideal for golfing or doing anything requiring bending down.

The grey isn’t dark enough and barely blocks the sun. Overall, as much as I liked the look, they didn’t fit my needs and ended up returning them. I hope they bring back harbor mist in black horn, best sunglasses ever!.

These are the best designer sunglasses I’ve ever purchased! They are so lightweight and easy to wear while very elegant. I get so many compliments. Service has always been amazing too!

Loved my Michael Kors sunglasses Was exactly what I was looking for. Purchased 2 pairs: 1 for me and 1 for my future daughter-in-law. She loved hers too! Only complaint by her was that they fit a bit loose on her.

I love these new 100% glasses. The visual clarity is excellant. I have always worn Oakleys before and these are as good if not better. I also have a small face and find that a lot of sunglasses are just too big for me.

I’ve owned a few pairs of 100% glasses over the past 3 years and really wanted to try these for skate skiing and running. Unfortunately they have changed something in the shape of the lens from the original Speedcraft and S2.

It’s too flat. My eyelashes hit it and the spill over from the end of the lens lets a lot of air in. Unfortuante for such a sweet pair of glasses.

I have tried so many sunglasses and I kid you not, these are WAYYYY better than an oakleys I’ve ever tried. They’re so incredibly light they don’t budge on your face and I have one of those slope-y noses that everything slides down when not even sweaty.

These are a god send. I will say that it’s impossible to swap out the lenses! I wish they would sell just the frame separately so I could have my clear lenses in it’s own frame. I guess it’s a good thing though? Because the lenses won’t just fall out.

I’ve bought a bunch of different sunglasses since finally switching from prescription eyeglasses to contacts last year. Everything from cheapo no-name box store/gas station pairs to nicer Ray-Bans and Maui Jims and plenty in between like Smith and Sunski.

Honestly, these simple Goodrs are my favorite for daily use. They fit my face the best, they are lightweight and comfortable for all-day wear, and the lens quality is “good enough,” with no noticeable optical distortions and ample protection from UV and polarized light.

The lens is large enough and offers a very slight wrap so that your eyes are pretty well protected from peripheral light, although obviously a wraparound or shield style would be more protective. I think they fit so well because of the type of plastic used for the frame.

It is a light, flexible, soft-feeling plastic with a matte, almost velvety texture which allows the frames to bend slightly to fit your face without creating pressure points, and sit on your nose without slipping or sliding.

My only complaint is the lack of an antireflective coating (not that you would expect one at this price point), which means you can get a little bit of glare/reflection from the inside of the lens at certain angles, especially with the mirrored lens versions.

Wearing a hat helps reduce glare dramatically, as well as protecting from any unwanted peripheral light. Aesthetically, you also have a lot of options available to you, from the candy-colored frames and mirrored lenses to the more conservative black, grey, or tortoiseshell colorways.

The neutral colorways are my preference for everyday use but I also have some of the fun, brighter colors to wear for a giggle. It’s easy to justify buying a fun color on a whim because they’re so inexpensive.

I think I’ve got six or seven pairs of these OGs in different colors by now. Overall these sunnies are really unbeatable for the price. I find that I reach for my Goodrs a lot more often than I reach for my Ray-Bans or Maui Jims.

The name of these glasses targets a minority group (the MOST minority of minority groups) using PHYSICAL TRAITS to imply that a person has a black soul and therefore implicating that it is acceptable to judge others and put them down based on physical appearance or race.

Using willing redheads and a black woman as models and writing a poem about your glasses does not negate your message or make it OK. Would you change the name to “A Black Person’s Soul”? Or “An Asian’s Soul”? Not to mention that you use a derogatory term “ginger”.

So, would you also be open to naming these glasses “A (derogatory term for a black person’s) soul?” or “A (derogatory term for an asian person’s) soul?”. Having a red beard does not mean you know what it is like to grow up as a redhead, btw.

Did you grow up being made fun of on the bus specifically because of your massive red curly hair? Did you get spit on because of your red hair as a child? Did a teacher treat you unfairly because you looked different? Did she make you sit at a table alone, continually ignore you when your hand was raised and treat you differently than the other kids? Sure, my hair is now the envy of many and Disney has changed the stigma against redheads in younger generations by having a glorified heroine with red locks.

But that doesn’t change the fact that a good share of redheads have endured the trauma of being bullied and discriminated against by peers and adults as kids. If you have sensitivity and respect for other racial groups, you should show the same for us.

Your message to redheads here is that they deserve to feel badly about themselves which honestly makes you no better than people that target minority groups. I recognize that you are trying to be cool and funny in your marketing campaign and clearly you are funny, but this isn’t cool.

Making money across a broad market at other people’s expense is wrong. I am asking you again to please change the name out of respect not just for redheads, but for the sake of ceasing put-downs and discrimination against ALL minority groups.

This is the sad saga of my sunglasses journey. I had a pair of sunglasses for several years, I lost them while swimming in a river due to a leg cramp. I ordered my first purchased pair of goodrs! Exciting! I received them the day before I left town for a river trip with my gal pals and I was excited for their maiden voyage.

Well the river was SUPER crowded. at one point my tube flipped and I could not surface due to others tubers tubing over me. Lost my brand new glasses to the river. So, I bought another pair immediately and this time, purchased a croakies/lanyard/whatever u call it to keep them on your head.

I received my new glasses and less than two weeks later, the hinge snapped while I was putting my sunnies on 😩 I was not aggressively bending the hinge, I also have a smaller than average head so I really hardly ever have the hinge issues other people do.

I was keeping the arms fairly straight so that I could put the sunglasses on with the croakie but not rigid or aggressively. I know this whole sage isn’t goodr’s fault, but I provided the context to point out that the croakies is needed in an active sunglasses wearer’s life, but apparently the goodr hinge can’t withstand croakies without babying them.

I’m sad because otherwise I loved my goodr, the lenses are great, the no bounce is great, the style is great… but I just can’t justify buying another pair that will either get lost in the water if I don’t use a croakie, or will snap after a couple weeks if I do use a croakie.

Great sunglasses, feel like a real Top Gun wearing them 😎. Great fit and high quality feel and aesthetic to them. The polarised lenses are brilliant and easy to clean with a little warm water and washing-up liquid if needed.

Also comes with the standard Ray-Ban leather case to store them in and micro-fibre cloth which is a nice bonus. Only quarrel I would give is that the end tips on the sides of the sunglasses are loose when not wearing the sunglasses and can make a sound every time you fold/unfold the sides, but you don’t notice this when actually wearing them and they don’t affect the comfort of the sunglasses in my opinion.

I’ll be keeping my eye on other Ray-Ban products in the future I think😁.

After eyeing these Aviators for years, I finally pulled the trigger and bought a pair after seeing Top Gun Maverick, and much like that highly anticipated movie, these glasses did NOT disappoint. I love the classic gold with the polarized lenses! They’re light, comfortable, and do their job at shielding my eyes from all the sun and glare.

Oh my word!! Amazing! I order these a few weeks ago and had some miscommunication with the order. I uploaded my prescription via the text message, received confirmation that my prescription was recieved then kept receiving emails about not having my prescription.

A little annoying and frustrating and the box arrived pretty banged up, but all is well! The sunglasses are in perfect condition despite what the box looks like. These arrived a little later than expected, but worth it! I love the fit and look! It was my birthday present to myself this year and really happy with how they came.

I bought these sunglasses in Las Vegas because I could not find them in Utah, and online is not my favorite option because I like to try them on and ask questions to the employees.

The store had discount and that was a great deal for all the items that I got. My experience with one of the employees was great, she was really nice, and she was answering all my questions and giving me options to be aware what kind of sunglasses I could choose.

I’m dissatisfied with these sunglasses. The picture online portrayed something very different than what they actually look like. There is no gradient to them, they’re just clear brown. When they arrived I actually wondered if Ray-Ban sent me the wrong pair of sunglasses by mistake because they look so different from the picture.

They don’t properly shield my eyes from the sun, I find myself still squinting when I’m wearing them which is unacceptable for a $200 pair of sunglasses whose sole purpose is to protect ones eyes from the sun.

I’m not pleased with the fit either, they are constantly sliding down my nose. I would like to return these and exchange them for something different.

Ray-Ban is my favorite eyewear company for both eyeglasses and sunglasses. The company has a long and interesting history. As such, their eyewear has been mastered throughout the years in terms of both quality and style.

I have owned many pairs of Ray-Ban eyewear and find the materials to be durable. To date, I have never had a Ray-Ban product break. The company has an abundant amount of eyewear available in various styles and colors and most products can be customized.

My favorite Ray-Ban products include their Aviator Sunglasses and Erika Optics Eyeglasses. The pricepoint is higher than competitors but it is still fair, and the products do last a long time if properly taken care of.

The only downside associated with the brand is that it was bought by Luxottica Group in 1999 and currently, Luxottica Group’s Customer Service is inadequate. I recently purchased a pair of sunglasses and received a used pair that was smeared and dirty.

It was a fight to get them to accept a return despite the fact that I had not gotten what I paid for (a brand-new pair of sunglasses) and it took them nearly a month to ship out another pair. Upon receipt of the second pair, I realized that the sunglasses were in worse condition than the first and, to my horror, had hair stuck in the frames.

My concern was not handled professionally as I was originally denied a return and refund. Eventually, upon threatening to file a dispute with my credit card company, I was able to send the sunglasses back for a second time.

Not surprisingly, I did not receive my refund until one month later despite Luxottica Group being in receipt of them. I understand that financial losses due to returns of goods is becoming a problem for companies, but from an ethical standpoint, returned goods should not be sold to consumers at full price without disclosure.

This is especially true for eyewear as diseases can easily spread. (Additionally, given the amount of inauthentic Ray-Ban products being produced and sold, a dishonest customer could easily purchase an authentic pair from the website and switch it out with an inauthentic pair.

Very very disappointed! Oakley used to make good quality products, but the Catalyst I got from them is like a bottom of the line chinese plastic you get in souvenir shops and the cashier’s desk. I only used it when driving, kept it in my car in a hard case.

Without receiving extreme cold or heat, the edges of the lenses started to bubble up and peel! Of course the retailer said they can not do anything and Oakley won’t care, so I’m stuck with a sunglass that has peeled and bubbled lens.

Very frustrating, and the retailer also told me lot of people are having the same issues with recent Oakleys. What scares me the most, that there is no costumer service at all, and they just don’t care that they sell low quality products anymore.

OMG It’s in of the best fitting sunglasses I’ve ever had. Perfect for boat days and supper sunny skies in Florida. Wouldn’t trade it for anything else. Verydurable and resistant to beeing dropped. Definitely would recommend if you have to deal with sunny skies, and need something light weight on your head.

Nice light and functional. Polarized iridium black are great for bright sunlit environments. If you are looking for more side sunlight blocking, these aren’t the ones (reason for 4 not 5 stars).

My first review was not posted as I ripped QVC. I’m guessing this one won’t be posted either (but perhaps management will see this). My first order was for the black matte/purple sun glasses. I read reviews and thought after 6 months, they must have figured out the mis-ship error with this product/color.

NOPE. I did not get what I ordered. The cardboard box from QVC had another cardboard box in it with no label, no barcode. and wrong (colored) item. Called customer service, asked them to please send another pair but to please ask shipping to open box and double check they are sending the correct color ordered.

The second pair came yesterday, they again were WRONG. The box came this time in a cardboard box, with a diff box on the inside with a label that stated matte blk/purple. NOPE. I will not reorder. Just because I won’t be charged the shipping charge back to QVC because this is their error, it is inconvenient.

I bought my first pair of glasses from DIFF back in 2017. I loved the dash frame. They even made it from Oklahoma to Alabama with me. Unfortunately my son broke them so I immediately came back and found my favorite color was gone but the ones I purchased made up for it.

I don’t think I’d ever buy glasses from anywhere else. They fit my face and I normally hate sunglasses. The lilac is so cute and girly.

I’m not too old, I’m 46, but still love something stylish. I’ve always worn aviator glasses, and I have to have polarized. And loved my Oakley Aviator, because they slide thru my hair without getting caught.

But $$$! So I decided to try Diff. Love them, glad I’ve tried something different! And love their cause to help others! I’m sold and won’t ever buy another brand!.

I have sunglasses I wear when I’m not training, and every time I’ve liked them and worn them during training sessions there’s always something off. They fog, the slip or move around, too dark, too light.

never just right. Until TYR. These things don’t budge. They don’t fog from my body heat in the cold weather. Super impressed. I have jumped ropes, ran, biked, lifted, AND did burpees. I forgot I was wearing sunglasses.

I love having gear that I don’t have to continually fidget with or adjust. I can focus on form and movement!.

I love these sunglasses. They are super clear and are very comfortable. I love the tortoise and the blue grips on the inside so they don’t slip. The mirrored lenses are very attractive against the design and fully functional as they are helpful to block out the sunlight and help me see when I’m outdoors working out or fishing.

My husband also reaches for the same sunglasses so they can be versatile for anyone’s style. Super fast shipping too.

These sunglasses are amazing. I’m a very active individual with 4 kids and a dog. We live in MN where half the year it’s gorgeous and the other half the sun can be blinding off the snow. Not only have these stayed in place but they’ve been able to withstand the demands of my family! That’s huge! Other sunglasses that claim to stay in place often give me a headache because they’re designed tighter on the face.

Not a problem with these.

I have sevral pairs of the Reks they are the more comfortable than the Oakley sunglasses that I have. On me the Oakley’s are a little tight, i can wear these all day with no problems. I highly recommend these sunglasses.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas and the quality is excellent

I was a diehard Oakley wearer for years. I am hooked on Maui Jim’s…own 7 pair, to include 2 Maverick’s, one of which is prescription with progressive MJ lenses. Very much worth the price. Why? 1. Titanium frames.

The lightest frames you will find. 2. Customizable on the MJ site 3. Lenses. Not only are these the sharpest in terms of clarity but the color…everything looks so much better whether it’s bright & sunny or overcast.

More importantly MJ is the only non prescription lenses that protect your eyes from ALL the UV rays: A, B, and C. If you have an eye condition made worse by UV-C rays these are a must. (Few brands protect against all 3 rays.

) Also the various lens options can be bought depending on your needs, polarized, mirrored, or both. 4. Size. They’re wide enough & large lenses give your eyes thorough sun protection. Maui Jim is an investment in your vision and are by far the best sunglasses on the market.

You can’t go wrong with MJs.

Best sunglasses ever. Mavericks are, by far, my favorite sunglasses. I just bought the blue lenses, and this is my third pair of Mavericks (fifth pair of MJs). I finally gave in and got the ones with the built-in readers and they are AMAZING.

To be out at the beach or wherever and be able to see my phone or read a magazine without carrying my reading glasses is incredible. And the readers don’t get in the way of normal vision. I can’t say enough about these glasses.

I’ll be getting another pair with readers. Also, Mavericks frames are lightweight, comfortable, and stay on my face perfectly, even during sports.

I had never shopped with the Warming Store but since they were offering the lowest price for Smith Guides Choice Bifocals so I decided to hit the order button. The checkout process was easy and I received the sunglasses in about 8 days.

I haven’t used the sunglasses while fishing yet but they look great and fit well and I am sure they are going to perform much better than the cheap sunglasses I have been using. These sunglasses have an excellent reputation and are widely and used and recommended in the fishing community.

The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the sunglasses arrived with a small blemish. The letter S, on the SMITH logo, located on one side of the sunglasses is partially missing.

I am a little disappointed that the sunglasses were not in perfect condition but for the savings I received I can live with the blemish. I am wondering if perhaps that is why they were discounted, so just be aware of that if you order a pair.

Photochromic feature works. It looks a bit weird when completely clear, but fine when shaded. Color is neutral grey, so it doesn’t alter color of surroundings. Had hoped to try these for skiing but didn’t get in time for this low snow season.

Good for hiking when I go in & out of shade. Reminder that photochromic does not work well in cars, since windshields block the UV rays that activated it.

The lenses and Chromapop are awesome on partly cloudy days. Everything is so clear. The frames feel flimsy and lighter then other Smith frames I?ve owned. The plastic molded frames have a few plastic burs from the manufacturing process.

The nose piece could use some extra padding as the frames press on your nose and can be uncomfortable. Overall, I like the sunglasses; however, I feel like Smith could do better with the frames. BTW – I?ve been using Smith sunglasses for 25+ years, so I?m familiar with what quality can be produced by Smith.

I bought these sunglasses on a ski expedition to the Garhwal Himalaya and absolutely love them. I like that they aren’t too “technical” for wearing around town (or touring around the Taj Mahal). When we got above 4000 meters, the spring sun was gnarly.

We were getting sunburned through our wind jackets and were wearing multiple layers on our face to keep the sun off but these worked great all the way up to skiing at 6000m. Take the side covers off for riding motorcycles in Rishikesh, driving around Vancouver, or skiing on-piste at Whistler but otherwise they keep the stress off your eyes.

I brought two pairs on our month-long expedition expecting to burn through both but managed to keep one pair in the box until I sat on the originals on the plane ride home. Highly recommended!.

Absolutely dig these sunglasses because the overall look and design is great, but the sun shields do break easily and that is the biggest downfall of these sunglasses. That part that breaks is the little plastic nub / tenon that joints into the sunglass frame.

It doesn’t take much for them to break. I feel like just repeated opening and closing has them break, but a single drop may do the trick too. I wish the sun shield were made of metal, or just a more durable plastic that wont have the nub shear off.

Promise that I take care of my stuff and that I don’t fling sunglasses all over the place. I purchased these because there are not that many sunglasses that have a sunshield option. Aside from my weekend outdoor adventures I figured these sunglasses would be good for me as a wood worker and preventing shards of wood from flinging at my eyes.

They work great for both! Also, kudos to Sunski’s great warranty. I emailed explaining that my sun shields broke and they mailed me new replacement sun shields at no cost. I thought that was really cool.

Only downfall was that the replacement sun shields broke within a week of regular use and I didn’t even drop them. Overall, I would recommend these to everyone, but just have realistic expectations about the sun shields.

Was recently diagnosed with some sun damage on my eyes and immediately began the hunt for a good pair of UV blocking/polarized sunglasses. I’ve had polarized sunglasses in the past, but the sun always seemed to sneak in through the sides, and I’m just not a fan of the wrap-around/athletic style of sunglasses.

The Sunski Couloir was the perfect fit and style I was looking for and the side guards are awesome. I was a little concerned about peripheral vision, but so far haven’t had any issues. I’ve worn them outdoors for several hours each day since receiving them and my eyes have never felt so relaxed outdoors.

I saw an early version of the Apres and was immediately eager to try a pair for myself. They have not disappointed. I have a big head (wear size Large or XL helmets) so these pretty big-coverage frames work quite well with my face.

The build quality is excellent, feeling similar to sunglasses I’ve had from other brands that cost $50–$100 more. The matte finish on the Matte Tortoise frame, combined with the fairly low overall weight, means they stay fairly stable while hiking and fishing (less ideal for, say, trail running).

On that note, the brown polarized lens does a great job of improving visibility and contrast when looking for fish. Overall, I’m a big fan and would recommend these to anyone who wants a fairly large, circular-lens pair of sunglasses with a high quality construction and not-silly-high price tag.

I just received my first pair of Glade sunglasses. I chose the Cary Smoke/polarized olive. I am so happy. I have Used Vuarnet and Revo for skiing, Oakley for Windsurfing and Ray Ban for driving. These Glade sunglasses have exceeded all of my expectations.

They are phenomenal. They are light-weight and fit easily yet the are secure for activity. The lens is so pure and protective. I am “Over-the-Moon” with joy. I strongly recommend these Glade sunglasses.

I love everything about their mission and most importantly, their product. How they provide all of this at their pricing is incredible.

It seems like “sporty” sunglasses are all trending smaller and smaller, and I really do better with a larger lens. The ones with larger lenses are heavy and awkward and. weird (think goggles, not sunglasses).

The Apres does a great job of walking the line of fashion and function. I love the Honey color and the olive lens does a great job of cutting the light without distorting the color – usable from morning till evening, whether walking or driving or whatever.
