20 Best Scented Candles For Bathroom (2023 Updated)

After reading a negative review for this candle I was was hesitant to order La Pietra online. But last week I was in store and saw a display of L’or de Seraphine candles. After smelling and touching the candle in person I had to buy La Pietra.

The smell is super fragrant and reminiscent of a fig orchard/garden it is subtle but fruity and sophisticated at the same time. I burned the candle for the first time during a small get together with vaccinated friends.

The candle was lit for probably 3 hours and the aroma filled the room, creating a real sense of atmosphere and place. I did not have any tunneling issues which one might expect from such a large candle.

I trimmed the wick before lighting it a second time and again didn’t have any tunneling issues. I would highly recommend this candle.

I received this candle as part of Bloomingdale’s freebie box. It is so pretty. It smells manly but in a good way. The glass container is so pretty. I really like it. I would recommend it for sure. It can be a perfect addition in the winter.

I was so excited to receive this candle. It is gorgeous, and heavy weight. I ordered the Marrakech scent. Unfortunately, unless you are sitting right next to the candle, you cannot smell it while it is burning.

I originally lit it and had it maybe 3 feet away and then had to move it closer. It still didn’t throw the scent. I’m used to Harry Slakin candles that do have a much more stronger scent while burning.

I am so disappointed. A candle at this price point, you should be able to smell a burning candle close by.

They do last for a significant amount of time. The smell will go through out the entire area you have it in. I would recommend this Bath Body Works White Barn Mahgonay Teakwood Candle for anyone to try.

This is one of my favourite scents that Bath Body Works carries. I repurchase this scent whenever I am out. I love the woodsy musk that it emits and I have the tendency to burn this along with other similarly scented candles during the winter months.

I like the throw that this candle has and I can burn it for a short time and it fills the whole place with its scent. I will continue to repurchase this as long as they carry it. There is also an ‘intense’ version of this scent which is exactly as stated – intense.

You really need to like and appreciate the woodsy musk scents to appreciate this.

We purchased this in store twice now because we loved the scent. The first candle we bought was perfect, it had a powerful throw each and every time it was lit. When we purchased this for the second time this was not the case.

I just lit the candle today and we could not smell it at all. Very disappointing. I was expecting the same quality candle we had when we first bought this. This second one was not worth the money we paid for it.

It is a complete dud and seems like BBW needs to improve their quality control/ quality assurance. I will continue to light the candle just to burn through the wax so I can throw it out.

This candle smells like mens cologne. I can’t identify which one, just a typical manly scent. I keep this scent in my husbands study. It’s probably the best throw of any B&BW candle. Not the scent I use anywhere else in the house, but that’s personal preference.

I love Bath and Body Works candles, although I have drastically cut down on using them because they aren’t the healthiest thing for your to breathe all the time. I worked there for years, and have tried every candle, and I thought I would never find a candle as fabulous as Mahogany Teakwood, but Black Tie is amazing! The throw is fantastic, lead free wicks.

If it’s too strong for you, which it is for me, just burn one wick at a time, alternating each use. You also don’t need to keep the candle burning for hours, you can light it, wait until the room fills with fragrance, then blow it out.

I think this gift would of been lovely. However it was stolen from the person i gifted it too upon USPS delivery. I shared this with the owner of this company and i did not receive much support or any kind of consideration for that matter.

She could not change that it was stolen, nor is that her fault or problem. BUT she could of offered a discount so i can rebuy the gift again or offer a coupon of some sort. My perspective is that I would still be spending more money on her items had she been more forthcoming and sympathetic towards what happened.

The gift is so nice and a cute gift to give but the thing no one tells you is that it is so small. I had my sister put her hand next to the box and it was literally the size of her hand (height wise).

This candle was a lot of fun to use throughout the fall season. I like BBW’s white candles since they give off more light. For that reason, I enjoyed the candle’s aesthetics, and I believe the label is quite nice.

I absolutely love this candle! It has a slightly fruity scent. Sometimes fruity scents can become nauseating because they are too strong, but that’s not the case with this scent. I also love the 3-wick candles because they burn the wax evenly in the container.

So you don’t end up with a deep hole in the center with a wall of unburned wax around the walls of the container. Speaking of container, I really like the pinkish color with gold writing of this candle.

My only complaint is that I wish the throw was stronger. I don’t have a huge dining room and I was expecting the scent to fill up the space, but I could smell it best when I was sitting at the dining room table.

This is my go-to candle whenever I see a BB&W! The size of the candle doesn’t matter as the aroma of sparkling berries and juicy tangerines will fill your space even after it’s put out. Other than the scent of the candle, I love the color of the packaging as the pink is subtle and compliments the name Champagne Toast.

Heavy glass can be repurposed. I love black glass candles right now and these serve all the purposes I’m in search of. I have already given as gifts to people and sent link to friends to order.

Although I like the smell of this candle, I do not find the quality to match the cost of the candle. During the first 7-10 burns, I had to dump wax or soak it up to keep the wicks burning. I haven’t experienced this problem with other brands of candles.

It was a little difficult to get them onto the spikes on the holder and it took some pressure to get them to sit level. Also the scent was really strong when first unwrapped but it has mellowed.

Moy daughter loves candles, so upon one of my monthly stops we noticed a variety of scented candles so strategically placed by the check out counter! Of course we commenced to smelling EVERY one! Yes, I later went back and purchased the BOGO fragrants that she loved, for her birthday! Along with the FREE card that spoke a mothers love to al daughter! I fell in love with these candles last winter when I stumbled on the Orange Clove scent offered. It is my absolute favorite scent and hard to find that flavor that isn’t “watered” down and this one absolutely is not.

It smells amazing all the way to the end and I will be restocking for sure when the scent is available again. When the spring/summer scents came out, I loved the Tropical Escape. I have bought 10 of this flavor so far so that I don’t run out thru the summer.

These candles are absolutely the best. They are so clean. They burn down so nicely, they burn even and without having to trim the wicks. They last a long time too and I burn a candle all day long. These are now the only candles that I buy.

I was a nervous wreck! Afraid they would bread something or curse! Ugh! But…. They were opening candles and smelling them ,she loved the cream sickle one. Orange cteam, holding up shirts and hats and cups and socks to see what the other thought! They were a little loud and I covered my face! But it didn’t phase the employees one bit.

They were great!They had the employees in stitches when my oldest grandson said nannie does mom like “lillack” aka lilac! Too funny! I was worried with all they picked out that the total would be over my budget but the hallmark employee helped me keep it in range! Their mom, my daughter loved everything they picked out! WIN! I was so excited when I saw that I could get the Tahaa in 760g and was more than happy to pay the $90 it cost to get it but to my disappointment, it’s changed and not for the better. It still smells heavenly however the scent doesn’t fill even the rooms The candle is burning in and I only got 5x uses out of it.

I am reading all the reviews on here and I see that a lot of people think the same thing. I’ve even noticed since I got this one that the price has gone up even more. $100 for a candle that doesn’t burn as long and leaves black soot on the top of the candle every time and for all the other negative changes, how can you justify the price increase when despite what Glasshouse says, these changes are not better, it’s not going to take some getting used to because the scent isn’t not as strong, I’ve asked my friends who come over if they can smell it and they all say the can only just smell it slightly when I used to never have to ask, and literally everyone would comment on it.

I’m not sure what is meant by the recipe was changed due to the spike in demand. I think that the more customers you get, the recipe needs to be changed back because all your longtime loyal customers will be gone (If not already) and you will only have people who don’t know what they are missing out on, and your price, it’s ridiculous.

It’s always been steep but was absolutely happy to pay it and if the recipe never changed I would still be happy to pay higher price. Please change it back!!.

When I heard GH were changing to soy I honestly felt a little ill. The lady in my local told me to buy up all the original candles I could manage including my fave Peach Bellini – I almost cried burning the last one *sniff*.

Now. I was also assured that I would notice no change in the fragrance and the burn time. I don’t know who declared such nonsense because honestly and unfortunately it’s a total untruth. Soy does not burn the same as wax.

Wax interacts with the fragrance a lot better than soy. I do find it unusual that this change would be made to begin with? You say below that a lot of your customers requested you change to soy, I certainly didn’t.

This candle which I purchased for my sister was a complete let down, it’s not the same and I believe many people now agree. We feel duped. Also, I purchased the Xmas candle the first year it came out and burnt it lovingly for seasons, guess what, I purchased a new candle this year and it’s not worth the splurge compared to the original wax version.

I used to do majority of my gift and Xmas shopping with GH but I’m sorry to say that this year I have gone with another brand. Parting is such sweet sorrow but, it’s simply no longer worth the money for a product that does not deliver.

I ordered 3 lime candles. They were well packaged. I got great communication. $10 postage was very reasonable. I was excited to open them and try one right away. Despite following all instructions there was and still is not any perfume whatsoever.

It burns well, I put it out after 4 hours and trim the wick. I am so disappointed and now I have 2 more I bought as gifts and will not be giving them as they have no perfume at all. Sadly a regretful purchase.

A lovely fresh fragrance which refreshes any setting. Also smells good when unlit. The plain white pot is classy enough for any room. The price is reasonable for a natural ingredient product. Would make a lovely gift.

I found this candle at a boutique around the corner from my new apartment. I first saw the beautiful containers and they immediately grabbed my attention, I started picking them up and taking a sniff and then I picked this one up and.

I think I fell in love. This scent is a perfect combination of some of my favorite scents all in one. I immediately bought it and took it home, without a second thought. Even better, I burned it and it flex up the entire room (it is not a small room, it is a pretty large room ~30x18ft) with the fragrance in no time at all.

The hot throw on this thing is just great. Also, the candles container just happens to perfectly fit into my color palette for my home. This candle has fulfilled every single need that I’ve ever had for a candle all at once.

I’ve tried a few of the scents. Citron is my favorite and a lot of other people’s also because it’s hard to find. The watermelon is fairly recent and it was really light and refreshing. Persimmon, same thing, beautiful, relaxing scent.

They’re all lovely and burn for a really long time (without a lot of smoke that can turn your walls black as I have found with other candles). Another great thing is the containers are reusable. It would look great in kitchen with a sponge.

Or in the bathroom with cotton balls, In the office you can put clips, rubber bands, push pins. They just look lovely sitting there after they’re done burning. Great gift too. Looks pricey but it’s not.

I had asked Voluspa earlier this year if they had a fragrance that actually smelled more truly of wood or burning wood as along the lines of Feu de Bois by Diptyque, because I had tried to find a wood scent from Voluspa before and it smelled of men’s cologne.

They let me know that they may have something along those lines in the near future. I saw this new addition Burning Woods, so I had to try. It doesn’t smell like Feu de Bois, yet it is a nice fragrance.

It is a little sweet, oriental, ambery. More like perfume rather than the true smell of burning wood. It has a similarity to the discontinued hair products called Flex by Revlon. I don’t think that the scent is strong.

Perhaps best for a small room. I love the black packaging.

I have bought before and lasts for so long that I would pay more than the cheap diffusers as they rarely last. Mine lasted at least more than 6 months.
