Best Scary Game For Oculus Quest 2 (2024 Updated)

This is an older game eith older looking characters. Its full of little puzzles and yhings that can be hard to figuer out (only for one of us) all in all fun but you know you get stuck on a door n it can frustrated some people.

For this game to look good, on your PS2, you need good connections to HD test. There are component cables, but I found that terrible. So used a converter cable PS2 to HDMI, and the screen play improved a lot.

The game is somewhat loopy, and the humor is groaner,groaned,, but I enjoy it. Gets a little difficult, while you adjust battles, and alchemy. Well worth playing many times. One girl player, kinda hangs out of her outfit to borderline ummmm.

DQ VIII is simply one of the best RPG games ever made. It is a masterpiece of art and graphics as well as a deep story line. The voice acting is superb, better than most movies made today. there is an extremely wide variety of villains, victims and good folk.

The story itself is tightly interwoven as it unfolds across a massive world that you can and must explore. For old school RPG gamers, this game is the ultimate blend of fun, challenges and GRINDING! Once you start to play you will not want to put this game aside.

If you’re a fan of turn based, old school RPG’s and just love to hunt Metal Slimes, this is the game for you!.

For those who don’t know, this is a reboot on the classic 1998 PlayStation game. The story has had a complete overhaul. It still contains key elements from the original but better scripted. The graphics are powered by Capcom’s RE Engine which was used for RE7 BIOHAZARD.

RE2 plays over the shoulder ( like GEARS OF WAR and RE4 ) and you play Leon Kennedy who is a rookie cop and Claire Redfield the young sister of Chris Redfield, the hero of the original game. For those who played the original, you won’t be disappointed and for those who never played it before won’t be disappointed either.

There is DLC available for costumes and weapons. The praise is truly deserved for this title and is worthy of any RE or survival horror fans attention.

Resident Evil 2 is a remake of a game from 1998, but you won’t be able to tell. Everything is completely redone and it looks amazing. The gameplay has been modernized completely. The adrenaline rush that the horror gives you is unparalleled in any other piece media I have consumed.

Jump scares are not relied on. just buy it already you won’t regret it, unless you can’t handle the horror.

Great graphics, sound and gameplay with good horror elements and monsters etc. Great characters to play as also being 2 you can choose from. Well worth the purchase and playthrough if you haven’t done this previously.

Fantastic remake.

It’s basically a virtual reality haunted house simulator. It’s really creepy but the gameplay is very simple. You just gradually explore a large house, solving very easy puzzles and occasionally encountering creepy jump scares.

The overall environment is generally creepy but it wears off after the first hour or so (but the whole game is only about 3-4 hours long if I remember correctly). This game may cause motion sickness for anyone who is sensitive to VR games.

Overall, it’s enjoyable and creepy, just short and the story isn’t that great.

Paranormal Activity for PSVR is a fairly short game, but the price makes up for it. I’m a fan of horror games, and was hopeful that this would at the very least, offer a creepy atmosphere to explore in VR.

This has actually ended up being one of my favorite experiences on the PSVR. The game is creepy, the controls work really well, and aside from some initial tracking issues, the game has been a joy to play.

Initially I had trouble picking items up off of the ground. Once I moved my camera higher and stepped back a couple of steps, that took care of the tracking issues I faced at first, and tracking has been spot on since.

I also realized that in order to pick up some items, you have to use the crouch button to reach low enough. Overall, this is a great creepy game, with lots of atmosphere. There aren’t really any difficult puzzles in the game, but you do have to do a good job of exploring to find what you need to progress.

If you like eerie atmospheres and exploration, I’d recommend buying Paranormal Activity.

This game captures the jump scares and creepiness of any horror themed game I’ve played, maybe even more. The rub is that it uses an incredibly tedious walking system. It uses what used to be called poor-man’s scrolling (move a few steps, load, move a few steps, load), and the most awful environment interaction I think I’ve ever used.

My CDi has more control. If you’re thinking about picking this up because you think it would be the perfect game to bring a casual gamer into the VR world (like I did, hoping my wife would enjoy it), you might as well put the 5 bucks towards a tent you’ll be sleeping in in the back yard.

My PS4 was angry at me for loading this stinker. Lousy. “*I would recommend this to a friend”? *I wouldn’t recommend this to an enemy.

I’m so new to VR and this is the game that got me going. Love being impressed and this one has it in, especially first time trying it out. If you like to share crazy wild experiences with your friends this is the game to put on.

I loved Arkham too but very short game, lots of nice surprises in it. Robinson Journey I was actually getting sick moving around and the play got really boring, I would continue to finish the game but I just couldn’t feel that motion sickness anymore.

VR World, fun, but damn so short so this is really best game for me so far because I like to share and this one is for sharing. Get your friend over and set up a camera while his playing. Lot of laughs afterwards.

Can’t wait to get Resident Evil VR in my hand, looks promising. Right now Rush Blood is so cheap it’s a must for collection, very recommended.

I didn’t think that I would enjoy horror games that much, but Until Dawn: Rush of Blood was well worth the purchase. This game is great to show off VR to your friends, it will definitely make you flinch and might make you scream.

I was worried about simulation sickness, especially on the fast roller coaster portions of the game, but I didnt experience any simulation sickness when playing this game. Put this one on your “must purchase” list for Playstation VR.

Terrifyingly fun and you feel completely immersed. It has great jump scares too! Got some hysterical laughs watching friends and family replay the same levels I played that had terrified me. So much fun!! I would say I lucked out since I got the game on sale via PlayStation store for $5.

99. Worth the full price of $20.

I wrote this review a few days before the release of Resident Evil 2 remake and after playing the demo of it as well. Having played mostly 3rd person Resident Evils since PS1 I don’t dislike 1st person I just had to transition myself to play RE in a different perspective.

I still like 3rd person more, but 1st person works well for RE 7. The pros and cons of RE 7: PROS: -Graphics are excellent. Sharp, detailed, and extremely unnerving textures & lighting. -The various creepy sounds you’ll hear throughout this game will keep you on edge the whole way through.

The soundtrack is extremely well done I feel, and was very subtle yet powerful in regards to enhancing the experiences and scenarios. -The game play is extremely fun. Killing enemies is actually extremely satisfying despite the fact that the best option in combat scenarios often at times is fleeing.

_****THE STORY***** literally the best part of the game in my opinion. The whole time my cousin and I played this game we kept theorizing what would be the situation or what would happen next and we could not pin it at all.

The fact that this story leaves you in complete mystery compared to Resident Evil 5/6’s painfully obvious story arcs was a very pleasant surprise and quite the thrilling experience to unravel. -Had some Resident Evil 4-like gruesome deaths.

I didn’t experience nearly the amount that was in RE4 but the few that I did see were pretty. intense. -There is some replay value in regards to a key point of the story. Not going to give spoilers so take my word for it, especially if you care about the story then it would be worth going through again for this point alone.

Also to try again on a harder difficulty setting because why not. CONS: -Puzzles are fun and neat but not that challenging in my opinion. Slightly disappointed in regards here. -I finished the game on the Normal difficulty in 9 hours.

That,s a high end for RE completion hours but there is DLC for those who want to get more out of this game. I have the DLC bonus footage etc. , but have invested time in two I have played so far and can say you could get maybe another 25+ hours from the additional content of this game playing at a casual pace.

As of now there is no “complete” version of this game (definitive edition with game + all dlc combined) so who knows if Capcom will release more DLC well into 2019. In conclusion it is a worthy purchase especially at its $20 or so price for the base game.

The complete edition of a fantastic return to form after the disappointing 6th entry. With a focus on survival and exploring cramped areas with dangerous enemies, the fear is even stronger in first person mode.

Interesting environments and puzzle elements bring back the feel of the original games. The Baker family make for an entertaining set of antagonists that you battle throughout the game, with Jack stealing the show.

The lack of enemy variety and a proper mercenaries mode are a bit of a downer, however the gold edition adds all of the dlc with the highlights being the 2 story additions. Though not perfect it is one of the high points in the franchise and well worth checking.

Holy cow this game is scary! I have played all the RE games (almost) and this one had me stopping a million times because I was getting so scared! I do wish they made more of the RE games Co-op so you could share the experience with your partner at home but other then that this game is so much fun.

I did not finish it yet. still working up the strength to get back into it cuz right now I have no ammo and no knife so I’m struggling hahaha. If you haven’t already played this game and like horror movies and zombies this game is for you!.

This game will scare the crap out of you. If you like fun houses with a twisted ride while shooting clowns and other strange demonic beings then this game is for you. Its easily one of my favorite vr games I own and watching other people jump when they play it is just hilarious.

Fun thing to do. While they are going down a hill turn on a fan and face it towards the player for an added xtra realistic feel. A must have for every vr owner.

This game is pretty fun with the VR headset on you feel like your actually riding a rollercoaster through a creepy dark world. The graphics are ok for a VR game. It’s spooky and makes you jump out of your seat at times.

Also isn’t a very expensive game. That was a deciding factor in me buying it.

I received the Frozen Horror set, and upon unboxing I was very impressed with everything. I know there has been a lot of flak about pieces being bent and/or broken in this and especially the Heroquest game itself, but I experienced no issues whatsoever, and have to wonder if it could be a fault of the shipping companies used.

I am excited to play this with my children when they’re a bit older, and I am thrilled Hasbro is remaking Heroquest for the younger generation, and older folks who cut their teeth on board gaming with Heroquest like myself.

I am sure Hasbro is aware of the nostalgia people have for this game, but I do want to send a big thank you to them for this project. Without Heroquest, I strongly feel modern board gaming as we know it would not exist.

The Oculus Quest 2 is a neat glimpse into the future bogged down by a plethora of issues. Privacy concerns withstanding – as Meta is aiming to monitor every movement and facial expression one makes whilst using the device – there are many practical problems with the design of the device itself.

It only has 3 different IPD settings, meaning that anyone whose IPD falls in between or outside of the presets will have an issue with blurring vision and an unclear image. This was a huge part of what I disliked about my experience with it, as it gave me significant headaches and visual distortion well after stopping use of the device.

For clarity’s sake, I used it for about 30 minutes at a time, once a day for a few days in a row. Many people tend to complain about feeling motion sickness when using these devices and while I did feel a little goopy in the gut, I didn’t enjoy the sensation of motion enough to get to where this was a serious issue for me.

I grew up playing video games regularly and still do occasionally, so it was entertaining to see how I could interact with games in a 3D space. That being said, none of the games felt very satisfying, and these days if I want to play a video game I certainly don’t want to be strapped into an uncomfortable near-eye projector to be fully engaged in the experience.

The headstrap is a well-documented nightmare and it’s absurd that they charge extra for a higher-quality one instead of changing out the one included. They finally added a silicone cover to the padding around the eyes after countless complaints about the foam irritating people’s skin, and I’m not surprised as it feels kind of like fine sandpaper to the touch.

What would have been the most relaxing experiences were dulled by low-resolution image quality (on a high-speed connection, no less) and in the case of multiplayer games, a disturbing amount of young players – well below the recommended age for using the device in the first place.

It’s a shame that parents don’t monitor their kids better to prevent this from happening and instead slap them into a device that will invariably detriment their developing sense of balance and spatial recognition.

Further still, it is disappointing that Facebook (now rebranded as Meta) has done so little to mitigate these issues. Ultimately, perhaps this product is merely not for me. However, I would recommend against it to anyone who is looking to use it for relaxation and absolutely insist that nobody use this for long periods as it can be dangerous – as is stated in the health and safety information included with the device.

I’m very impressed with this headset! I wrestled with whether to pay $100 more for double the storage capacity, but after perusing apps in the Oculus store and averaging app sizes, I determined there was too little value in that.

Down the road, if I get REALLY into VR in general, I might wind up regretting that decision, but I honestly think that would be the only thing I’d regret about this device. Oculus was experiencing some kind of server issue that prevented me from completing registration and setup right away, so it was about 4 hours after I unboxed it that I was able to use it.

And boy, was I blown away! I still have a VR headset that requires a phone be stuck in it, but I haven’t used it in a while for just that reason. This one, of course, doesn’t need that, and the resolution is really, really good.

Your IPD (Inter-pupillary distance), or the distance between your eyes, can be accommodated by selecting from 3 different widths. I read one review that said the maximum is 68mm, but their IPD was 72.

In that case, the image will appear blurry. For that reason, I suggest checking your IPD before you purchase. What’s in the box is simple, the headset, two controllers (with batteries), a spacer for those who wear glasses and a silicone piece that makes it comfortable to wear against your face.

It’s very well balanced and doesn’t feel heavy to me, but there are optional head straps you can get if you find it too front-heavy. I also like the passthrough feature that lets you see your real-world environment if/when you need to.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and immersiveness of the sound, but I will probably get some ear buds soon so I can get a fuller volume level (I usually have the volume on about 6-7). But it sounds great.

The ‘Home’ environment, which is set up like a house or apartment, is really cool, and there are several different designs available. I found the battery life, stated as about two hours, to be pretty accurate, but I bought a 10-foot USB cable so that I could have it plugged in and playing while it’s charging (yes, you can use it fully while it’s charging).

There is a head strap available with a place for an optional battery to extend use time without worrying about a cable, but that doesn’t seem necessary to me, at least not at this point. I just got done using it, and I was in VR for about 3 1/2 hours, and battery life was still 82%.

So far, I have used it for probably 20 hours total since I’ve had it, and the controller batteries are still at 100%. I’m sure that depends on what you’re doing, though. I have watched a couple of movies, and with the ability to have a curved screen (or flat if you prefer) that views even larger than my 60″ TV, it’s just amazing.

I’ve also played a few games, watched some videos of dancers, concerts, and awesome, immersive tours of places like Switzerland, Italy, the Matterhorn, Great Lakes, under-sea stuff and so many more. All of it has been awesome.

And so far, I have found enough good, free content that I haven’t gotten around to purchasing anything yet! Another effective feature is the voice control. You can do almost anything using voice commands, including powering the device off.

I haven’t explored that feature too deeply yet, but I have started and stopped apps and games, checked local time and weather and performed several other functions just by telling it what I want. You just double-press the ‘Oculus’ button to get it to listen for voice commands One complaint I know many will have, is that setting up the device REQUIRES a Facebook account.

BUT, you can set it so that your FB profile info, including your profile name, will not be revealed in VR if you happen to do some multi-person thing, and neither is your Oculus username revealed to your FB contacts, so that doesn’t bother me at all.

The only thing I wish, and this is so minor it’s really almost petty, but I do wish it came in black. That isn’t even worth deducting stars over. Overall, I just love it, and I highly recommend it!.

The headset is way to uncomfortable to wear longer then 2 hours Been playing consistently for over 2 weeks and still get motion sickness fairly easily so at best I’m getting 2 hour gaming sessions before either the blood in my face is squeezed out and it feels bruised on my cheeks and forehead.

There are solutions to this but they’re mostly third party. On top of all this, everything has to be rebuilt instead of just transferred like a phone would be. Instead of having the same apps as your phone, those same apps need to be rebuilt from the ground up, which means not only is there next to zero useful apps, but the ones you can find are entirely different from what they actually are on android or pc.

Instead of having one epic system, we have three slightly infinitely broken systems that can never be completed until they agree to be one system. Be willing to jump through a lot of hoops to get things like basic android apps working and getting screen sharing with you computer working easily without some serious modifications and know how.

2022 will hopefully changed this, but based on how the economy has been playing this out, I’d say they’re going to take 10 years just to get N64 working again instead of just running android with the android store.

Aside from all this, its essentially the same game over and over rebranded and reskinned. Either shooting games, tag games, or table tennis like games. Some good experiences to be had, but not enough yet to make it worth a full fledge console price when you’ll have to stretch to get 200 hours out of this thing when you can accidently dump that amount of time into a computer or game console without even realizing this.

Where as the Oculus will cause you a great deal of pain, discomfort, and anger over how annoying it is to use this headset as a virtual desktop From the moment you turn it on you’ll start having thoughts like: Why isn’t this done yet? Why can’t I find this app? why doesn’t this basic app that’s over 15years old work properly? Why can I stream fast past games to kids around the world where we can real time shoot each other with guns, but I have to pay 150$ yearly subscription just to stream my screen to my headset? Why is it such a crap experience when streaming 3 feet to my headset? I’ve been playing real time COD since I was 13 years old over wifi, yet some how, some way, it takes to much information to have real time updates with a computer 3 feet infront of me.

There are some great games for exercise on this. I especially like the ones that do not have a monthly subscription. My family loves Beat Saver. We’ve purchased almost all of the additional music for it.

It took a bit to understand how to use it. Registering wasn’t as easy as well because we had a referral code. The link didn’t work and we never got the credit we were supposed to get. Had to contact customer support and they did honor it.

It’s definitely the most realistic vr out there. It’s very crazy how real it seems. I suggest buying the extra charging cradle and maybe the extra battery headset. However we purchased the extra battery headset and haven’t needed to use it.

Be careful with rollercoaster games my entire family felt nauseous and couldn’t do it more than once. Games are pricey but I guess it’s about the same as any gaming system.

The carrying bag is just a regular backpack. Didn’t look anything like the picture. As for the Oculus, it’s ok. Not a lot a games. Played The Darth Vader episodes, which you have to buy each separately, but didn’t take long to finish those.

I give the Oculus 2 stars, and 1 stars for Finger Hut for the cheap “carry bag” it came with. Missing some of the accessories too.

I just received in the mail with my son standing next to me all excited however when I opened the box the carrying bag that I received was a cheap backpack that you can get from five below not a carrying case as described in the picture, also came with just 5 mask not 20, also the cables were not inside the box, missing cables.

I as well as my son am very disappointed because now I have to order from somewhere else and he might not get it in time for Christmas, smh, such a disappointment. I ordered early to make sure he received it in time for Christmas gift which we did but still can’t use it without the cables, I can go and buy some cables on my own but defeats the purpose of me not wanting to leave my house and having the convenience of shopping online.

This game dates back to March 2011. Still a good game. I purchased this copy because despite it no longer being a subscription based game, it comes with many free items. What I did find was that while the serial number had never been used, since the game went free to play, I had to open a support ticket to get the bonus items.

This copy came with an experience item up to level 20 and a boost of 5%, plus 30+10 days subscription. The subscription is no longer relevant as it is free to play, but they have introduced something called Patron status, which is basically the equivalent if you want to get bonus items, currency boost etc.

from playing it then Patron status helps. The official forums indicate that you can also get additional bag slots with the item, speaking to the GM I was able to get bag slots and additional soul capacity, unfortunately no free Patron time, but no real loss.

Plenty of DLC in the game which come with additional Patron time and those do stack. The game uses 2 types of currency, 1 is called rex=credits and people can purchase this with real money from the store and or sell it ingame and it can be used to buy some items or unlock some DLC etc.

For myself I enjoy crafting, so been making money off that ingame and then going to use that Platinum I earned ingameto buy Rex ingame, without paying real money. Spamming is not bad, once in a blue moon I get a random spam, so far in 3 weeks of play I have had 1, trying to sell me platinum for real money.

Leeching in dungeons and raids for pugs is a bit of a problem, but the raids are easy and fun and you can get by with active players, after all if the farmers bring too many, they get nothing, so they have to have the right balance.

Overall I am enjoying this game, it’s a blast from the past, played WOW for 7 years and have not played it for 6 years or so, so this is the right balance of I can drop this if I want or play it. I like the way they have combined the servers so there is one auction house shared across all the NA or EU servers, and while people are playing on separate servers (shards) you still group up with them in raids etc.

A very useful feature is also being able to put something in your bank and then use it if you need it for crafting, without first going to go and find it in the bank. There are many evolved improvements in the game, and there been a lot of recent DLC, patches etc.

so it still has good support and new content being released. I should say the game itself is free to download, so you no longer need the copy for the game, but of course with the bonus items you only get that from these original copies.

Rift is part World of Warcraft, part EverQuest 2 and part Warhammer Online. And with its dynamic world invasions constantly spawning, there’s never a dull moment while you quest, group, raid, PvP and craft your way through the world of Telara.

At first glance, RIFT looks like all the other fantasy MMORPGs out there. There are heavy influences from many sources, including WoW, EQ2 and others. Having played these MMOs I can see that the developers have cherry picked the best features from these games for their own.

If that’s all they did however, I would be disappointed. Instead, they used those familiar systems as a base to build two great features into Rift that makes it stand apart from the rest: the dynamic invasions and the flexible class system.

And that’s what separates this title from the rest. The beauty of this game is that it breaks up the monotony of the standard level and gear grind that is common in most MMOs with the rift invasions.

The invasions happen constantly and are great fun to participate in. They scale based on the number of people that are in your group as do the rewards. Plus there is usually a boss mob that requires a full 40 person raid to take down to end the invasion.

Choose your level of involvement and the game will reward you appropriately. The other great feature in Rift is the flexible class system. Once you pick your archetype for your character among the warrior, rogue, cleric and mage options you are introduced to the soul system.

Souls are essentially skill trees focused on unique roles for each archetype. Warriors can pick the Beastmaster soul, for example, to be a pet class or a Mage can choose the Warlock soul to be a debuffer.

Your character can pick three souls to work with out of eight available to each archetype and invest points into each one to get what you want out of them. Trion did a great job of making gameplay fun, immersive and addictive.

This title is a great addition to a genre that no one thought would see another great success since WoW. If you are burnt on your current MMO, I would highly recommend RIFT. If you are new to MMOs, this game a great place to start.

played WoW for the past 5 years and I am pretty much done with it, nothing ever changes in the world other than new instances and armor that takes 1000000 hours to get. Eff that noise. I personally have had enough of the WoW formula, so I gave Rift a shot.

I must say, it has me hooked. The graphics are great, kinda like Aion’s style. Combat is pretty much the same as any MMO, click attack press hotkey to use ability. The quests are your standard quests, kill 5 of this go get this from here, but the major difference in this game, are the Rift segments.

Randomly around the world a Rift will open up in the sky and plop down monsters coming to destroy you and everyone around it. Your job is to go to it and kill everything that comes out of it, closing the rift and earning rewards.

The BEST thing this game did is make it so that if someone is attacking a monster that you need for a quest, if you attack too, it counts! No more waiting for a respawn only to have it ganked again. You automatically join into a “Rift group” when you enter a rift, no queing or invites, you just go have at it.

The Class system is unlike any I’ve ever seen in an MMO. You start off as either Warrior, mage, cleric, or rogue. Then there are 8 sub classes per class you can choose from after earning their “souls”.

You can use 3 at a time to make cool combinations to fit your fighting style. There are also a host of abilities in each subclass and talent trees. Like I said, if anyone’s sick of WoW and wants something just as good, if not better in some areas, then grab Rift.

yeah this is what i think it is other players are about 71 % familiar with in ds but i only played emu version. this was good tho i dont know why its on wii and ps2 cause it freezes every time a person doesnt take only to ds on ps2.

The game worked and i didnt see any unsavable issue in a timely format or freezing.

This product was as good as promised. Purchased in perfect condition, product still in shrink wrap, this game was fun and enjoyed by everyone in the family. The graphics were good, the story was cute and in keeping with the books.

The carnival games in the story were enjoyable not just to my 10 year old nephew, but also to myself and my older sister! Nothing hard just good clean fun for everyone.

I bought this for my daughter, because she loves Goosebumps and requested this game. She loves it!

Ive been a resident evil fan ever since I was in diapers, so to see a modern rendition of the critically acclaimed resident evil 2 is no better way to get those old feelings of being scared once again.

Im not a guy who cares too much about graphics but wow I had a hard time believing this came out in 2019! Gameplay couldnt be any better and buildup is paced tremendously. To say Im satisfied with this is an understatement: G E T T H I S G A M E !.

Amazing game, I highly recommend getting this one especially if you are a fan of Resident Evil or horror games in general. The game works and runs great on PS4 Pro and looks absolutely breathtaking when played on a 4K HDR display.

Apparently the base PS4 version looks good, but unfortunately doesn’t run quite as smooth as the Pro version does. No matter which model of PS4 you own it’s still worth buying in my opinion, just know that there are some differences in terms of performance between the base PS4 and pro models.

As always though, if you want the best visuals and performance this game has to offer, then PC is the way to go. However I think that Capcom did a great job with the PS4 version and the game in general, so I think now is the best time to support a developer like Capcom that has been doing such stellar work lately.

Red Dead Redemtion 2 is the best video game Rockstar has ever made. To begin with, it has a very good story that hooks you from the beginning to the end. I have already play this game and finished like 3 or 4 times I have done each of its main missions, how the developmentof the band its done, its graphics, as well as how it would seem that the npc have his own life.

it has a very good environment that looks real. As i have already said, I have played this game many time but i have never completed the compendium of animals or plants since it have a lot of variety in both sides as predators, preys, plants for health or poisunous.

To complet the compendium, it will be very difficult for you because some animals are very rare to find since they only appear in certains parts of the map and dont leave the place, not like other common animals such as beers, the same with plants, some are so rare that you can only find one per place.

That is why the game is more entertaining as it encourage you to explore the map to complete it 100%. Critics may say that if the main missions and the compendium are the only thing I can do when I finished everything will be borring.

However there are many random encounters and side missions that can give you rewards such as locations of objects, rare tonics, a treasure map or a especial weapon that can only be obtain with that side mission.

RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 out of 1 through 5 this is a 20. How can I comprehend the masterpiece of this game and the amazing character development and the incredible voice acting and the outstanding soundtrack? And best of all sets up perfectly for the first Red Dead.

Arthur Morgan Where do I start with him He is the perfect protagonist, in my opinion, the game sets him up as a simply hardened outlaw who lives to ride and kills to live with him and his gang but as you continue to play the story you get deeper and deeper into who he really is and it’s not only him it’s also with Dutch, and John, and Micah, and Javier, Bill (all these names are your gang members) we all see their true selves at the end of the game.

But Arthur changed the most because back then he was a ruthless man who gave no mercy or pity to others (if you choose to) But as you play as him he suddenly changes and shows that he really is a good man (again if you choose to have high or low honor for Arthur).

As you continue to get higher honor you see his character development as he helps his gang and other important characters like Rains fall and Eagle flies they played a huge part in showing his true self.

And Tuberculosis also played a major part in changing his life, and not only that but John and his family, Tilly, Ms. Grimshaw, Mr. Pearson, Mary-Beth, Even Uncle. Arthur redeemed himself by trying to save as many as he could and get justice to those who deserved it.

His passing was one of the most heartbreaking moments for gamers and It gets even better when you then Play as John Marston (AKA The main protagonist of the first Red Dead Redemption game) Arthurs Good friend and brotherly figure, Together with his former gang members Charles and Sadie who the game will introduce you to as the game progresses through the story.

They hunt and avenge for their good friend and get the retribution he deserved and cuts into the sequel to red dead redemption the entire story is amazing from beginning to first. with breathtaking graphics and unmatchable features that you and all the people in red dead redemption 2 have (your hair and beard literally grows and flows in the wind that’s how amazing it looks).

you have so many strangers and side missions that you can interact with, and it just gets better and better hunting legendary animals, treasure hunting, secretly unlocking weapons that aren’t supposed to be unlocked yet the list goes on, the soundtrack matches perfectly to each mission and gives you a feeling of intense excitement and a feeling that makes you cry, now there are some critics and gamers that have a problem with horse riding because it takes to long, but personally, I enjoyed every moment riding on a horse it was cool, and people also say that the controls are clunky and weird but again in my opinion they’re not it’s pretty good to me and another thing the controls are just like GTA 5 so I don’t understand why people say it’s bad but it just is to them but opinions don’t count in a rating.

The gamer has all these amazing things RED DEAD REDEMPTION 2 if I could give higher ratings I could this game deserves more than a 10/10 it deserves a 100/10.

This game is awesome! Not everyone is going to enjoy this type of game but I sure did. Talos 1 is a fantastic setting for a videogame and it does give you that Rapture like feeling when walking around.

I personally love art deco themes in videogames so I might be a little biased. I love Bioshock, Dishonored, Deus Ex, and Dead Space, and this game reminds me of all those games. It even feels a little bit like Half-Life 2 which was a good game for its time.

The reason people might not like this game is because the story to be fully enjoyed requires you to look through lots of e-mails and listen to lots of recorded messages. When you do both these things the people whose bodies you find scattered around Talos 1 start to have meaning.

Each corpse is a person with a name and backstory and usually they are quite interesting and grab you in a very relatable and human level as opposed to feeling just thrown into the game to add more filling to the game length through tedious reading.

That’s not the case here. I wanted to save as many people as I could because they actually seemed like people and not NPC’s. This and the exploration factor along with the amazing setting is what made Prey awesome in my opinion.

The shooting gameplay was on point and fun, with the ability to upgrade your weapons and the utilization of the gloo gun I thought was a stellar concept. The gloo gun can stop fires, insulate electrical malfunctions, and allow you to reach hard to reach places making it a very handy tool.

The powers in this game I thought were just ok. It felt like there were too many powers and that most of them were just variations of other powers. With so many variations it just felt like they weren’t as meaningful or powerful as they should be.

The powers were ok but mainly I just used the equivalent of incinerate and force push the whole time backed up with a one two punch of my super maxed out shotgun. Also there is a hidden morality system in this game which I think is great.

And I really enjoyed the music in the game. There isn’t a lot of music, but what is there works really well to add tension and mystery to the game. Buy this game for the setting, the ambience, the music, the story, the relation of human characters both dead and alive, and the tight gunplay.

Do not buy this game for the powers aspect. And again I say the story is good you just have to look at emails and audio logs to get the full experience. This game is amazing and I’m very glad I picked this up.

It will definitely stay on my game shelf for years to come. Thank you Arkane Studios and Bethesda formaking for unique and awesome games. This game is great on its own and doesn’t need a sequel. But if they do make a second I will definitely buy that one too!.

Red Faction the first classy classic almost. Rin woulda had mor fun updating her armor. The space walking was good realistic. Still like most Bethesda RPG too much bs to read without getting to the point or goal.

Cut scenes were minimum, but the same weapons over and over without graphical upgrade options. Would be better if an entire alien planet were the gameplay like Fallout 4 with only 4-7 missions on a space station.

Fallout 4 was bigger/better except building blocks were pallets and not architecturally appealing save 4 a tree fort. Every building, fallout shelter, cave, and mission should be unique not a duplicate copy.

The fun is in the different unique levels like on area 51, or Resident Evil 4 with choices and different weapons upgrades where you actually see the upgraded effect graphically. Elevators were unique and all the dead people very pleasing though.

I give it a low A because your trapped on a space station the entire time and in real life people adventure. The idea is to provide that adventure for people to explore without killing earth with car exhaust fumes and overpopulation so for that this game gets a trapped facility F.

Fallout 4 was way better.

Most fun I’ve had in a long time – compelling enough that I’ve found myself in the wee hours a few times because the time has gone so fast! It’s one of those games best not spoiled beforehand – I avoided this and the game is better for it in my opinion.

If you have played Dishonoured you will feel at home with the mechanics but it offers a much more interesting environment including the best zero gravity experience I’ve ever had – you really feel like a (superpowered) astranout.

Masses of character customisation and skills – nowhere near enough resources to obtain even half on a single run so great replay potential – I’ll certainly be returning. All opinions are my own based on a game purchased myself.

The game is well made and is a nice clash between the human player(s) and zombie player(s). The game sets the human player into an almost watered down role playing type play style, while the zombie player(s) is/are to play a more war game like style.

The clash between the two styles yields an amazing game play and an easily experienced variance between zombies and heroes. The downfall is that the zombies in the base set and horribly over-powered with the zombie deck and the game is literally stacked against the hero player(s).

The expansions do fix this issue in a beautiful way however. They offer more characters for the hero player(s) to use which allows for a more tailored team for the chosen quest. The hero deck also gains cards that are comparable to the zombie deck cards.

Personally this is one of my favourite games from my collection, but one should know that if one is to buy this, then the individuals should also invest in the expansions, as they round out the experience by balancing some issues found in the base game and allow for further game play options.

All game pieces are of good quality. Game is fairly easy to understand and get started. But offers more difficult scenarios for the advanced players. Game has alot of expansions which is nice to change things up a bit.

This game is one of the favorites in our household. It is incredibly thematic and evokes the kind of fun you might get from having a zombie movie right there on your tabletop. Just reading the cards aloud reinforces the mood of the whole zombie experience.

It’s equally fun playing either zombies or survivors and we’ve found it just as enjoyable to lose as it is to win because of its strong theme and ability to slowly creep the tension and danger up as you go.

There are a few expansions out for this game which can be merged with this main set or it has pretty good replayability on its own. I can’t encourage you to buy Last Night on Earth enough! Great game! Great fun!.

RE: Revelations 2 is by far one of the best games in the series. It’s what RE 6 should have been in my opinion. The graphics are great, controls are intuitive and the HUD is way better than the ones found in RE 5 or 6.

The Revelations series for Resident Evil have been a breathe of fresh air for the franchise. RE 5 was aggravating to say the least and 6, even though it was very good looking was ultimately a terrible game.

If you are craving something more akin to the earlier RE games then the Revelations series are for you. The first Revelations is good (and still better than RE 5 or 6) but Revelations 2 is just phenomenal in every way.

The Raid Mode is ridiculously addicting as well. This game gives you many incentives for multiple playthroughs. I already own this title for the Xbox 360 and I liked it so much I bought it for the One.

First of all it is the entire game which includes the main four chapters and two extra chapters. Game play was great I thought, a mix between RE5 and Code Veronica control themes in how you upgrade your weapons.

In saying that it is behind the back camera like RE4 ( which is what I much prefer) so don`t get confused, this game goes back to those jump scare tactics as best as possible and I think the balance between that and not feeding you too much ammo makes for an excellent play.

The story is quite good and isn`t so action based so horror fans welcome and there is a slight tweak in endings depending on how you`ve played the game ( yes no spoilers). Raid mode is much like mercenaries other than the fact that you upgrade your weapons and abilities and I`d say its done well but enemies start off too slow in the beginning difficulty levels but works its way up so not too much of a drag there.

The two extra chapters are unique to the main story, Moira`s extra chapter is really good and tells the story between Clair`s chapters and Barry`s. All in all the game last a while I`d give this an 8/10 and is well worth getting.

I have played/defeated Resident Evil 2, 5, 6, and Resident Evil Revelations. The game is compelling were you control 2 sets of people set a few months apart. The player must switch between the 2 characters as one is good for spotting things and the other is better at combat, yes in both groups.

It’s dark with a great story. The graphics are good, not great. I like the way you need to switch between the characters. It isn’t a pain and each character has slightly different advantages. If you like Resident Evil get this game.

This is one of the better stories. The controller is set the same as before and it is more survival based.

I had originally got This for my younger brother. He really likes This Game Series. No booklet. A Five star rating for being liked and sought after. More and more. Games seem to not come with little booklets to inform people Any need to Know Information about the Game.

I geuss between cutting costs, trying to appear to be enviromentally aware and the internet. people are just expected to go online for all the answers to the questions that They might have. I still liked the artwork on the little booklets back from PS1 to PS3.

some PS4 games still have little booklets. It Looks like Games don’t come with booklets like They use to. A four star rating at most for Best Buy’s services not delivering the disc properly secured and intact.

The Game Disc had been loose and not secured into the disc indentation in the case. Perhaps cases should be made not soo easily to contradict by unfastening the Disc without opening them at the center’s push-in divet.

Perhaps a very thin catcher hovering just over the disc. that requires the case to be open with the same push-in divet, but that slides out on the side facing the center of the dvd case. Had the disc slid-out on the top or bottom that would still be problematic.

and the side facing the Disc case’s opening would make for easier theft for people not trying to open the case all of the way. Having the disc slide out from the center side from inside of the case; after being pushed in,.

will likely keep the disc from being moved around until the case is fully over-extended and thus open. A properly secured disc means less damage, less accidents when open a case recklessly-or in a hurry and a happier customer.

That means less money spent on returns, replacements and altogether. cut-into profits from discs damaged beyond sale or any possible repairs.

If you love jump scares this is right up your alley. If you hate them, stay away. The scale Freddy & all his gang is collosal, they look huge on VR. Makes you feel like you are in that security office flipping switches for real.

The scares are random, don’t think you know when they’re coming. As much as kids love being scared and enjoy goosebumps and some scary things, i say use caution & good judgement on letting them play this.

Yes, there is no blood, no guns, no cursing,so it makes it rated Teen. Don’t let that T fool you.

So much fun. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it will crash. It says error and shuts the whole game off randomly, and you have to start over and no progress is saved. The game is really fun and pretty hard.

My daughter and I play together for a couple hours every night trying to beat levels. A few things I would add but otherwise great. Fix the glitch.

At first glance, people will immediately see this as an Overwatch clone. It isn’t, in fact, this game is far from that. This game came from the same folks that made Borderlands, so expect the same insanely whacky quips, characters and environments! Choose from a plethora of characters and team up with people online to save the universe! From a four-armed witch, to an adorable Penguin in a deadly robot suit, this game as it all.

Each character plays completely different from the latter and gives a unique experience every time. The leveling system gives you more reason to play! With more rewards every time you level up, this game will keep you asking for more!.

I love this game, but it is definitely an acquired taste. If you’re looking for something just like Borderlands, this isn’t it, but it does have Borderlands-like qualities. The characters are bright and varied and the gameplay is heavily co-op based–definitely a game to play with friends, it’s just not as enjoyable alone.

The storyline is short, 8 chapters, and the PVP has a small amount of maps and three flavors (at launch), all of which are fun, but hard to classify. Is it an arena shooter? sortof. Is it a Moba? Sure, kinda.

Where it shines, like all Gearbox’s IP, is in the character’s story and varied play styles. There is something for everyone and I’d highly suggest giving it a chance (I’m really glad I did).

This game is truly amazing. the game art and character art is incredible. I was not a first person gamer at all. but i had the pleasure of testing this game out and i love it. its fast paced and requires attention to detail and strategy, but it can be a fun game for anyone.

Although the 1st person view is kind of the point, i still would prefer 3rd person and wish the games with a 1st person view allowed an option for 3rd. maybe I’m just not good at having to play with a narrow view.

Where to start with the Mass Effect franchise? Probably one of the best franchise games I have ever played. The storyline is just amazing in these games. These games have a way of drawing you in and before you know it you have logged countless hours in this game.

If your married or in a relationship this game can put a strain on any healthy relationship.

Great all around game. Difficult to read what the words on the TV screen say most of the time even after switching TV’s. But the game play is very addicting. Something about how the controller vibrates when you put a bullet in someones body or incinerating (setting them on fire) is very satisfying.

And the whole saving the galaxy 1 mission and side quest at a time is very appealing. Granted this game is more adult friendly and not really for young children. But under watchful responsible parenting/guardianing this game can be lots of fun for the entire family.

I’m playing it right now. Already on disc 2. I spend at least 5 to 7 hours daily on it off and on. LOOOOOOOVE Mass Effect 2 (ME 2) and would strongly recommend it if you like RPG/exploration/multiple choice type games as this has all of it mixed.

Even has romance option if you wish to earn some extra things.

Mass Effect 2 is a fantastic game. If you’re thinking about getting, you should definitely pick it up because it is fantastic. It’s aged well and is an amazing experience if you combine it with the other two titles in the trilogy.

This particular version of the game however is definitely oriented towards the kind of fan you wants to display their favourite games. The best value Mass Effect 2 is the standard edition and best value for all three in the trilogy is the trilogy box set.

If you’re also a completionist and want the exclusive DLC with this copy of the game (Collector Rifle and armour), make sure you buy a sealed copy of the Collectors edition. Otherwise you won’t receive the download code.

A sealed copy is very expensive however, so probably best to buy a standard copy.
