20 Best Sauce For Turkey Sandwich (2023 Updated)

I was very excited to try this bbq sauce. I love IPA beers and it seemed like the perfect combination to pair it with bbq sauce. The smell is very unique. It has a sweet and tangy scent with the faint aroma of the IPA.

Unfortunately the taste didn’t live up to the smell for me. While it wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t as exciting as the smell. It is very mild and light tasting. I used it on chicken but next time I might try it on grilled shrimp as the mild flavor might work better with seafood.

I received this product through the bazaar voice Sampling program and I love it!! I am a regular sweet baby ray’s bbq sauce user, I have been for years. I never even buy or try any other sauce but because I have to review this product I had to try it.

If you love sweet sauce This sauce is sweet and smokey and it tastes great. I mostly use dry rub but when we grill chicken I just have to have sauce so we tried this on bbq chicken. It was amazing! We are honestly surprised and feel like we might even but this instead of our usual sauce next time.

So we made a smoked pork shoulder over the weekend and decided to use this sauce for pulled pork sandwiches. This sauce by itself is great tasting! But adding it to the smoked pork really kicked the pulled pork sandwiches up a notch.

The sauce is not only mildly sweet, there is a nice savory finish to it. 3 days later and we are still enjoying the pulled pork. I will be looking for this sauce again next time we are doing a smoked pork shoulder!.

I’m so glad we got this Prego pasta sauce with Italian sausage & garlic. My whole family really liked it. And my youngest son can be super picky. And he was the first to say he wanted it again. The sauce was very flavorful and surprisingly had a good amount of sausage pieces.

I was afraid the sauce would be spicy, but it wasn’t. I can’t handle spice, so I was super impressed. My only wish was that the sauce was a little thicker. It was the same consistency as other Prego sauces we have tried.

It was a nice to have on had for a quick easy meal before soccer practice. We will definitely be getting this sauce again.

I use Prego pasta sauce for quite a long time for pasta, pizza or beef chili sauce and they all taste very delicious. I was very excited to try this new flavor. The sauce comes with a very fragrant yet not overwhelmed garlic flavor, and taste really good as is with the minced sausage in the sauce.

I tried it simply on pasta and it is SO good, I also tried it with chicken wing (yes this is a dish I make for my family, simply sear the wings in a pan with olive oil and when it is golden on the outside, pour the pasta sauce into the pan, cover and simmer for 20-30 mins depending on how many wings are in the pan, they taste really good!).

So glad now I unlock a great flavor to my Prego sauce stock!.

It’s only meat flavored, so I sometimes add ground beef or Morningstar Farms Griller Crumbles to it. I also add sauteed onions, green bell peppers, fresh garlic, mushrooms and zucchini chunks. On occasion, I’ll add a whole can of Lindsay Black Olives.

I use it as a pasta sauce, a ragout/chili of sorts to scoop up with garlic bread. I’ve mixed it with rigatoni and plops of ricotta cheese and baked it as a casserole. My Favorite for Over Thirty Years!.

I am big fan of Colman’s products, especially ketchup is my favourite and I was very excited to try cranberry sauce. My first impression after opening the jar was a surprise. The sauce has an intense color and a large fruit content.

But when I tasted I thought: it’s sweet like jam! I expected a delicate sweetness but also characteristic for cranberry acidity and bitterness. I looket at the label- there is 37g of sugar out 100g product! I tried the sauce on toast made from wholegrain bread and extra mature cheddar.

It was quite tasty but and the taste of cranberry was overwhelmed by sweetness. I still had the feeling that it’s just jam. My next try was with pancakes with mascarpone and in this combination sauce was excellent even for my 5 years old son.

Even though it will not be my favorite product, I want to emphasize that the sauce has a pretty good, simple composition (without sweeteners) and I could recommend it but only as nice addition to desserts.

If you think cranberry sauce is just an accompinant for Turkey at Christmas, let me tell you now. it’s not! This delicious, fruity and moist sauce goes with anything! Chicken nuggets, chips, steak, fish fingers, salad, veg.

pretty much anything! It adds a little something special to any meal and is great alternative for tomato sauce. My 9 and 4 year old have been converted, possibly as it reminds them of jam! A real winner in my house and something that will be added to the weekly shopping list.

The A1 sauce comes in glass bottles, so buyer beware! Walmart put 4 bottles in the bottom of a large box with a jug of laundry detergent and a few air pillows. The bottles obviously slid around and the lid on one of the bottles broke off and leaked A1 sauce everywhere, all over the inside of the box, all over the remaining bottles and all over the laundry detergent.

I can’t get the bottle back to the store because I can’t drive, hence the reason why I wanted them delivered. Walmart definitely needs to take much better care of their packaging of items especially glass items.

I’m not used to packing items but I could have done a much better job than Walmart did this time. I do love A1 sauce though, and love it on my steak, hamburgers, french fries and baked potatoes too. I’ll just have to make my 3 good bottles last as long as 4 would have.

One star for good flavor But, this is NOT 15 FLUID ounces. in other words,you aren’t getting almost 2 cups of sauce. For some odd reason, condiments sometimes use NET WEIGHT for the ounces. NOT volume.

so it’s much less than 15 ounces by liquid volume. VERY SNEAKY! The other missing stars are for the fact Walmart delivered this directly from store in an ope, plastic handle grocery bag, in some random person’s car– unexpectedly leaving it out on my doorstep for a long time– when i ordered it for SHIPPING.

ie, in a closed shipping package.

so there were absolutely no bottles of A1 in the store. If I indicated no subs it wasn’t for size it was so you wouldn’t just grab ANY steak sauce off the shelf. The last sub you gave me was croissants instead of biscuits, you gave me funny shaped bread that’s mostly air as a sub for biscuits one of the most dense breads in existence.

I understand you may not like your job but please don’t punish me. I toddle out to get my mail. I toddle everywhere I go and I don’t want to toddle around a store getting in everone’s way, so I shop from home and have it delivered.

I never got to taste it because I was in a hurry when I ordered it and thought it was $1. 40 per can. upon tracking the product I noticed my mistake and this was coming from CONCESSION KING company and was $14.

09 PER CAN AND I ORDERED 2!!!! These two small cans were costing me over $28. 00 and so I returned them and I am waiting for my refund. We will see how that goes. I just thought I would try this gravy instead of making my own for a change.

Buyer beware if you don’t check the price closely. Not sure why Walmart would use them as a vendor.

Campbell’s products are another of my go to brand names, though soup is what I think they do best. This turkey gravy is very good and four stars is the highest I’d give canned gravy. Im very picky and I only eat turkey gravy.

When I have a lot of cooking and I’m not making it myself, I’ll buy this one or one other. The price is right and it tastes really good.

i love this gravy. works great with like a thanksgiving type of dry turkey or chicken. and i also really like to put it in chicken soup when someone is sick. like a chicken broth kind of. and if you feel like it’s a little to thick add some water.

I bought this to try it one time and the family absolutely loved it. My husband won’t eat the regular ones, so I decided to try this. He was in love. He even told his friend about it at work and his friend went and bought it and came back raving about how good the manwiches were.

I even converted a few friends. All I know is we are in love with this and like it even more than the regular!.

Well sloppy Joe’s as one of those products that are great for kids for a quick lunch. To my knowledge it’s fairly healthy. I wouldn’t say improve upon but I do know people who add spices to it. You can pair this with bread and make a sandwich you can pair this with cut up vegetables and use it as a dip.

You can put cheese in it and pour it over cooked hotdogs in a bun there’s so many different things you can do with this product and kids just love it so do adults.

Ever have a night that you need a quick meal? Manwich is a quick fix meal at our house. It’s a comfort food that everyone loves. We always have several cans in the pantry. It’s rich and delicious flavor makes for an irresistible sandwich that you can throw together in minutes.

I’m not personally a sloppy joe fan but compared to other ones out there this is the best one. My kids absolutely love this stuff though! Because of that I give it a high recommendation. This is an affordable brand that the whole family can enjoy.

Unfortunatley my wife does not like heat. at all! SO finding a sauce that compliments well and allows me to mix in a little hidden heat is a huge win. This is not an overly spicy sauce but a bit too much for my wife.

SO I mix it 1 to 1 with the regular sauce and she never complains about the heat, but always compliments the flavor!.

Really like this bbq sauce. I like that it’s thin and mixes with the meat instead of sitting on top like the thicker sauces. Just wish the bottle had small hole in the top, as some people don’t realize that the sauce is thin and there’s no restriction and pour way more than they need.

We highly recommend all recteq products. There is no comparison for flavor when smoking using their pellets, rubs & sauces. They also have outstanding customer service.

This is wonderfully creamy, yet never cloying and has the most lovely fresh dill flavour. I always add fresh dill when making my own. Delicious with most fish – especially Dover sole ! I just wish that it was easier to find in Waitrose branches.

A revolting sauce that’s far worse than Waitrose’s own brand one. Third biggest ingredient after oil and water is high fructose corn syrup, which has no place in a tartare sauce. The important ingredients which give the flavour: capers and gerkins, are at the 2 – 3% level.

Save your money and go for a cheaper and better option.

This is one of the better tartar sauces because it has added shallots which give it more bite and a bit of a zing. Most standard tartar sauces just taste sweet and creamy, this doesn’t. Perfect with fish and surprisingly, cheese! Best of all though is in a fish finger sandwich, delicious!!.

I purchased a bottle of this at TJ Maxx and it was so good. Had a smoky bacon flavor. Went great on a tomato sandwich. Only complaint is that the bacon clogs up the top so you can’t use the squirt portion.

But otherwise. Fabulous. Looking to purchase some more.

I bought a few bottles of this on clearance at Marshall’s because I thought my friends would like. I was wrong. They LOVED it!I will be purchasing more of this fabulous stuff. It was amazing on French fries and chicken nuggets, as well as pretzels.

Hunts Manwich Original Sloppy Joe Sauce is the only sloppy joe mix I’ll use! It’s delicious, no other brand compares in flavor. I just cook up the meat, add the sauce throw it into the crockpot on low before I leave in the morning.

By noon it’s ready, my family can grab a bun eat whenever it’s convenient. The flavor of the sloppy Joe’s is incredible after cooking all day in the crockpot. If you haven’t tried it this way before, definitely give it a try!! You won’t be disappointed!!.

My Mom used to make this for the family when I was younger so it brings back nostalgic feelings. Back then we used to have it on regular hamburger buns. Today when I make it, I prefer round kaiser rolls and I sometimes throw on some sliced deli American cheese.

My fiance really likes these and they make for a very easy dinner and cleanup. It has a very tangy, slightly tomatoey, slight BBQ flavor. Perfect for when I dont really feel like cooking.

I love this Blackstone Loaded Italian Griddle Ready Sear and Serve Sauce, first of all because the flavor pops out and if you love Italian you will absolutely love this sauce flavor. It is a large bottle, which lasts a long time, the flavors pops out at you one at a time.

We used this on our meat and chicken and grilled it, and I cannot remember ever enjoying anything so much. The people who was invited and ate with us, also asked us, what is that wonderful flavor on the grilled meat and chicken.

The one lady said she was going online and looking to find and buy this sauce to use for her Fourth of July picnic. It definately got rave reviews. Thank you for making such a wonderful, great tasting, product.

I love this stuff. Bought it specifically to use on my very blah oatmeal crackers for breakfast ! It’s very expensive to buy from UK as a person living in the US, and I am playng with the idea of making my own – so we’ll see if that works out ! Sorry – you may lose me as a customer, but as a Brit I grew up with this stuff, so it’s one of my favorite British products ! Delicious & helps me to stay away from sweet things !.

I used to love Heinz Sandwich Spread but haven’t had for a long while, so decided to treat myself. All I could tase was very strong vinegar while my long standing memory is of the vegetables and a gentle salad cream.

A unique British classic , and one of the few foodstuffs that hasn’t changed at all in decades. Takes me back to school packed lunches 40 years ago. While Sandwich Spread remains , so does the “Great” in Great Britain.
